also. talking with my therapist (bc how else could it happen) about movies that i emotionally responded to very strongly but that my ma for Some Reason did not, i came to a realization. first is how (again, in my obsessive brain) manny in swiss army man is kind of a perfect therapeutic toy/doll for hank. not to deny his own personhood (though i feel that his existence as a living corpse contradiction makes it obvious that hes more than a person, hes a symbol of something else), but manny is physically manipulated and shown recreating different situations with hank who in a sense controls him. its not just that manny is a bit of a memory-free, past-free child that hank has to teach the workings of the world, but that hes a conduct for hank to be a child and relearn things he might have not fully learnt yet. its a very mundane version of play in a sense but thats because hank himself is a very mundane person who already has difficulty with mundane social tasks, so him playing them out with hank is tantamount to putting himself in his shoes to practise social situations and allowing himself to learn and replicate images hes seen much as a child would do. i love this i love love love this its a wonderful way to show appreciation of the little things and to display the beauty and charm of the everyday world.

Félix making fun of Adrien is funny but Adrien making fun of Félix is equally as hilarious because like. He’s so quick about it. He doesn’t have to think about it, he knows exactly how to do it like he’s thought about it before.

In the episode ‘Félix’ alone, when he’s pretending to be Félix when the Punishers Trio show up, he immediately acts CARTOONISHLY evil. Does a silly evil cackle and runs off. Then later when he encounters Félix as Chat Noir, he immediately hits him with the, “You don’t have many friends, do you? :)”

Too bad we never got Chat Noir and Argos fighting because you just KNOW Chat would be leaving some devastating blows. Cain Instinct Real.
