Ivy sat across Drew's lap watching their friends dance and have the time of their lives. It was bitter sweet, having this one last night together before they went their separate ways for a bit. Ivy's heart was heavy knowing that she only had a mere 24 hours before she had to leave for LA for some writing sessions with another artist.

She was excited to get back into her music, but leaving everyone, Drew especially, was not something she was looking forward to.

She turned to him, taking in his sharp jawline, the way his blue eyes practically glowed under the lights in the bar. A familiar feeling stirred low in her stomach, making her tighten her hand that was threading through his hair.

She could feel, rather than hear Drew's low groan vibrating through his chest before he gripped her hip, leaning in closer to her ear. "Don't start something you can't finish, angel."

"Stay with me tonight?" She breathed, scratching his scalp, cheeks pressed close together.

He pulled back, looking her in the eyes, seeing that raw want and need within them. His grip tightened around her waist, feeling his pants start to tighten at the prospect of what the evening could hold. "You sure?"

"More than anything."

okay so ive always been into quantum theory and the multiverse theory and like the idea that every decision we make branches into some infinite string of alternate universes where things play out differently. like i think about it quite constantly if im being honest. like somewhere out there there’s a version of me who never kissed that specific guy? or who did move another city? or didn’t eat that gas station pepperoni roll?

but anyway besides the point (kinda) !! i wrote this fic that loosely talks about schrodinger’s cat as a cutesy little metaphor for a situationship. but basically this is the thought experiment where you imagine a cat inside a box with a mechanism that could kill it based on a quantum event (like the decay of radioactive atom). and because of the way quantum mechanics work, until u open the box and observe it, the cat is both alive and dead. at the same time.

it’s not meant to be literal. it’s kinda just supposed to show how weird and like broken our understanding of reality gets at the quantum level. like particles can exist in multiple states at once until they’re observed and then the collapse essentially into a single state. which is WILD but also idk tragic ?

but ANYWAY the fic i wrote i used that as a way to describe the weird limbo reader and spencer’s relationship were in because like idk maybe it’s love? maybe it’s not, but u don’t know until someone says it out loud and defines it (aka when someone opens the box).

it also literally made me have a crisis about what makes me me ??? and i just think it’s so insane that i somehow stumbled into the same headspace as this book without even knowing it ?

Ok.. so once again people have jumped on the bandwagon without knowing all the facts. And reached conclusions so far from reality it’s exhausting. I don’t want to constantly be in a position where I have to defend female celebrities but sometimes society gives me no choice.

“Blake text Justin to come over while she was pumping”… ok and? If you invite someone to your house on one occasion that is not an open invitation to enter whenever they feel like it. If you are pumping and you know someone is coming you can put on a shirt, grab a blanket etc, whatever you need to do to cover up areas of your body you don’t want that person to see. Blake isn’t saying this happened on one occasion, she’s saying that Baldoni entered her trailer without her consent multiple times when she was in various stages of undress.

“Blake called herself sexy one time”.. so she called a beanie sexy once. Seems like a really innocuous thing to call sexy. But again, just because she said that once does not mean that it was ok for him to make similar statements about other areas of her body.

“Heath showed her the home birth video as inspiration”.. filming and even showing a home birth video to others is a perfectly ok thing to do. As long as it is talked about and context provided. Blake did not say he showed her p*rn, only that she initially thought it was. Both his and Blake’s complaint/lawsuit both claim this, which indicates that he did not tell or communicate with her about what was in the video or why he was showing it to her. Showing someone a birth video randomly is weird and would absolutely make that person uncomfortable.

“Blake refused to meet the intimacy coordinator and therefore Baldoni and the IC wrote scenes without her” ok so I’m no where near Hollywood so I don’t know the ins and outs of an IC and what they do. However, Blake did not “refuse” to meet them, she didn’t feel the need to meet them before filming. At that point in time it’s entirely possible that she and Baldoni still had a good and amicable relationship so Blake didn’t feel the need to meet the IC at that point in time. A quick google search also indicates that it is NOT the role of an IC to write additional scenes so it’s entirely possible she didn’t realise they would be doing that. The fact remains that Baldoni wrote additional scenes without Blake knowing. Also Blake isn’t saying they didn’t have one initially - only that after MULTIPLE incidences of Baldoni adding additional scenes and randomly kissing her during filming she requested the IC be there at all times.

“If it’s true why didn’t Blake complain to SAG” “she’s rich and has power/influence why didn’t she walk away” “why didn’t she….” When WHEN is this sh*t going to stop. It DOES NOT MATTER how rich and a powerful a person is they can still be victim of SH. Also Blake did speak up and took steps to protect herself (including having a meeting with the parties involved, involving her husband, making it clear what her expectations were going forward, asking for the IC to be there all the time etc). That’s far more than what some people have the courage to do. But apparently that’s not good enough because she didn’t complain to the right body/organisations and walk out halfway through filming.

Look, the only people who truly know what happened on that set are the people on that where there. But in all honesty, both Baldoni and Blake seem to have a very similar narrative about what happened, just different perspectives.

I believe Blake Lively. In the sense that there were things happening on set that made her uncomfortable, and not just one or two things but multiple things that added up and made her uncomfortable and threatened. However, whether Baldoni meant to make her feel like that.. who knows. It hardly matters either way.

About the PR thing, again who’s to say whether they orchestrated a smear campaign against her. What I do know is I would not trust the PR agency responsible for the absolute horror show that happened to Amber Heard as far as I can throw them. The text basically laughing at the idea and clutching their pearls saying “I would never do that” make me laugh because I’m pretty sure it was proven bots targeting Amber were absolutely purchased. That doesn’t mean that they did it in this case, or that Baldoni would have wanted them to do that.

Also.. and I debated including this because I am absolutely not saying in anyway that this actually happened.. but if I was initiating a smear campaign against someone, and trying to cover up SHing them, and that someone was planning on suing me.. would it not be genius to provide or have someone leak heavily edited texts so when that person sues I can whip out the real texts and say “see, this person is clearly lying”. Because it’s basically an easy way of completing discrediting everything that person subsequently said.. I don’t know, it does seem pretty stupid to include edited text messages in a complaint that can be so easily disproven unless you didn’t realise that they were edited (unless your JD I guess but that’s a different matter).

Okay, I REALLY need to stop consuming horror content while I am currently quite literally in a cabin in the woods. This video was genuinely creepy (/pos), and I love horror, but perhaps this was the wrong time and place to watch it! I am kind of freaking out rn!

Also holy shit, I think this is the first yandere character we’ve had ACTUALLY kill people (Blake doesn’t count, that was himself). Poor guy. Also he was in the bathroom for a good while was he okay in there? Like before the door locked? Also also Erik it is not fair to use what is either your own voice or pretty close to it to voice the character that gets terrified and murdered like that. What story arcs do you think the girls (mainly Blake and Yang) are going to have post ever after? Or what would you give them? Because a lot of their vol. 1 arcs are kinda over rn? Blake specifically has everything wrapped up, Yang could have an arc around forgiving her mom in Vacuo I think and Weiss still has to deal with the Atlas and the SDC being destroyed, her dad dying but I get the sneaking suspicion they won't do that :( Ruby is the only one I think that has a plethora of stuff to figure out that could span to the end of the show.

honestly... most of it is likely just going to be like, tying loose ends, finding those little scraps and trying to make something out of them (or not. you never know lol)

like, weiss has her family, but i was already left a little disappointed in how little they got during the atlas arc, so i'm keeping my expectations low. the destruction of atlas is there, too, but i feel like the paper pleasers coming back and rebuilding their flooded home was intended to address that, so idk if they're gonna do more. probably something with the sdc taking part in the dust mining in vacuo, but—there's always a but lol—not sure how much time there is and if it can be tied to other, more main plot relevant things.

yang is obviously going to have some role in learning about summer's mission, although ruby is likely going to take a lead in that. really, with raven present and accounted for, finally learning why she left is the most i'd expect from yang's arc at this point in time—with the caveat that we don't know how learning what really happened with summer is going to change things. might complicate them, might make them more straightforward.

and blake... truthfully, i have no idea. if they had tied the white fang more consistently into opposing the dust companies throughout the show—like they did in the vale arc—, i could see them doing something there? like idk if it would really come off as planned at this point or particularly genuine bc it's been so long, but it would be something. and blake has so little left that literally anything relating to her personal arc will do. like just give her something.

not that it's absolutely necessary for each of them to have all encompassing arcs throughout the end of the show—there's so many characters with arcs that still need addressing, and time is limited—, but i'd still like for them to have enough to keep them in the spotlight like the main characters they are.

HI HELLO okay so as much as i see and understand a desire for a "rick wright lore masterlist", i don't think i would be able to do proper service by just listing all of the stuff i know off my head, plus i don't want people to see it and just take everything i say at face value and not look into things further if that makes any sense

so instead i will put a rick wright source masterlist under the readmore so people can go watch/read things for themselves in as much detail as they feel comfortable doing so, + i think a lot of people aren't aware of half of the sources i take from

Books

As far as books go your best starting points are Mark Blake's Comfortably Numb and Nick Mason's Inside Out, both of which are much more generalised sources for any Pink Floyd related material - I do have PDFs of both of these (i have physical bought copies too dw), so if you can't read/listen to either of them for any reason DM me and I'll send those PDFs to you :] They're both available widely on Amazon and other bookstores and Inside Out is also available as an audiobook!!

Guy Pratt's My Bass And Other Animals is 75% his own biography and 25% pink floyd related, so while it does have some Rick-related stuff in there, don't go into it expecting any in-detail explanations. Unfortunately I don't have a PDF of this book, but it is widely available and relatively inexpensive to buy (and I totally reccomend it!)

Franka Wright has supposedly been writing a tell-all on her marriage and experiences with him, but there haven't been many updates on it in a while. I've been relatively quiet on everything she's said about him in public as I don't think I have enough information on what happened to properly comment, but if that book does drop expect me to be the first in line to take a look

Websites/Online

Please god if you have even any passing interest use rickwright.com. It's a resource largely made by his estate and has a lot of information on there, it's a really sweet and interesting labour of love and I cannot reccomend it enough

pinkfloydz.com is an older website but has a gigantic catalogue of interviews, which include a large amount of transcribed interviews with Rick from 1996. It's just such a good resource in general and I highly reccomend checking it out, as even if you're not a Rick fan you still have a lot of interviews with the others in there

Here me out here; @mamazano (who has been inactive since 2021) has SO much on there that I don't feel bad putting them down as a source. Almost everything they post about is properly cited so you can find exactly where they came from, and they catalogue a lot of stuff that is locked behind more expensive/less available books. Their attention to detail for citing and sourcing quotes has been so admirable to me even if they're no longer on Tumblr anymore!

.Haven't commented on the intro till now for whatever reason, not going to say "this will be day" isn't an earworm but you can really tell Casey was a teenager when she sang it in some parts. makes we want official rerecordings of this and some of the other older songs with how much better she's gotten (Unless there are already ones and I just forgor)

-He'd be this giant, beefed up bicep rather than a forearm.

-Wearing the Spardacep (Sparda + bicep) would increase your physical strength, but only for that arm. You'd also gain the power to shoot fireballs out of that arm as well.

-You also have to keep the arm appeased, as it is still alive; to do so, either eat or be around freshly baked pizza.

■ Vergil ■

-He would be a very sleek forearm with a metallic hand whose wrist is wrapped in a dark blue ribbon like the one around the Yamato.

-He would be mostly black, except his fingertips, which would be a shiny metallic silver.

-The Vergarm (Vergil + arm) grants you the power to slice apart enemies just by touching them, and can be worn as either a glove or as a prosthetic.

-The Vergarm is sentient, but needs no appeasement; the blood of your enemies is tribute enough.

-Nero is literally just a hand.

-He's a bright, cyan blue with black and white knuckles, but other than that, is not really all that stylish or flashy.

-The Nerfist (Nero + fist) can be worn as a glove or a prosthetic just like the Vergarm and grants the wearer the ability to flip people off with such force, it launches them backwards several miles.

-The Nerfist needs no appeasement as it is solely an object and possesses no intelligence nor will of its own.

-Is the most Gothic looking metal glove you'll ever see.

-It's elbow-length, black, and is covered in all manner of silver insignias, spikes, etchings, and other decorations.

-The Vimb (V + limb) can only be worn as a glove and gives the wearer the power to curse others by reciting a verse of poetry--and only poetry; any other writing medium will not work.

-The Vimb has some level of sentience, but needs no physical appeasement. In order to keep it happy and functioning, you must read it poetry, preferably William Blake, though Shakespeare works too.

And yea, we literally never know which way an actor's career or life will go for real y'all. That's why it's best to just live in the MOMENT, and just enjoy the ride!

Stop thinking so hard about the future. Some actors get real big and super famous right off the bat due to a huge franchise movie, and then, they drop off the face of the planet and realize that the large fame, and even acting itself just really isn't for them, and they'd rather just live a normal life, get married, settle down, etc, like Taylor Lautner. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Then, there are other actors who struggled and hustled for years, and nobody even saw them coming, and then BAM!! They all of a sudden start getting more roles, and get famous, and end up having a very lengthy and successful career in Hollywood!

Then, there are others, like you said, who everybody liked, but then, they did or said smthg that got them canceled and everyone starts to hate them lol. 😅 Look at Will Smith and where he was just a few years ago for MOST of his Hollywood career! Well-liked, well-loved, admired, successful, bankable, put butts in seats, part of the coveted "A-List" in Hollywood, etc. And then one "little mistake" (if you can even call it that) on Oscar night cost him his entire career. Now, he can't even attend an Oscar awards show as a guest. 👀 He's been shunned by a lot of people, and this was someone who was literally on top of the world in Hollywood for YEARS!

Like you said, we can't predict the future. 🤷🏾‍♀️ That's why it's better to not even try.

Some of these actors you all are comparing or complaining about could make a comeback, or could go down the wayside, or could die in a freak accident ... 🥴 And then what?? Is all this complaining really all that necessary? Like, you have to really put things in perspective.

I do not support this guy!!!! Having said that... I already have it at home and it feels like a waste to just let it stand on my shelf. He is still a very talented author and the story sounds really cool and comforting. I don´t know if I can read it without a weird gut-feeling though, so maybe I´ll just read it a few years from now.
