Svt as specific tropes cuz I am in a writer's block

a/n: these are purely personal opinions/ imagines. not proofread!

Scoups: enemies to lovers (I'm talking dagger to the throat enemies to "who hurt you" pipeline. scoups and his competitive petty ass would be perfect with an equally competitive and hot-headed oc. I'm talking sizzling chemistry, extreme frustration to tooth-rotting fluff)

Jeonghan: Frenemies to angst to friends to lovers (light-hearted frenemies until one day Jeonghan takes the joke a little too far which leads to angst and years of no-contact. A chance encounter during lowest times leading to a soft adult friendship evolving to a soft and chaotic lovers pipeline)

Joshua: strangers to comfort person to lover (he gives me a feel-good coming of age feels so I'll take a storyline with the heartbroken or worn down oc finding comfort in Shua who could be a stranger or a kind colleague. a full "we helped heal each other" and then moving away due to circumstances only to realise that you need your comfort person)

Jun: holiday romance (nana tour Jun vibes. two strangers in a random city who decide to spend a week having the utmost fun and never meet again... but of course fate brings them together and the angst of reality to eventually finding a balance in the paradise of their holiday whirlwind and reality... it's giving romcom)

Woozi: Best Friends pining for decades (A very soulmate-ish friendship. Woozi and oc are so extremely obvious about their feelings but are oblivious to the reciprocation- it's also obvious to everyone around them. The angst of "what-ifs", and ofcourse songs written abt the feelings, to angry confessions and happy endings. this one includes a lotttt of angst and dozens of bangers mixed with peak domestic behaviour and two ppl so attuned to each other like old married couples)

Hoshi: Accidental dance partners Hoshi and oc (might sound basic but I'm a dancer and it's a very indulgent trope... so yeah! I'm thinking college team dancers in competing teams are forced to pair up for a competition. Out-of-the-world chemistry- can't keep eyes and hands off each other, late night talks, "non-date" date nights and ofc anger issues(performers, duh!). Lots of parties, angst and eventually confessing. She falls first but he falls harder)

Wonwoo: second-chance romance (I think Wonwoo, I think angst(sorry wonu) and second chance. oc and wonu having whirlwind honeymoon phase until oc pushes him away. lots and lots of angst- confused wonu not knowing how to help oc. both of them miserable without the other... until Wonwoo can't take it anymore and makes oc lean on him for support. very gray and grounded in reality romance)

Dokyeom: Small-town romance (sunshine Lee Seokmin as a charming small-town business owner helping big-city-return troubled oc deal with life and falling in love? sign me up for the hallmark movie! Seokmin and his golden best boy smile healing hearts as always)

Mingyu: Arranged Marriage Trope (once again, a very self-indulgent imagination...Oc who doesn't believe in love after a heartbreak, Mingyu who accepted his destiny and never loved anyone. A very practical arranged marriage with both consenting parties. An agreement to stay "partners" and "friends" because they "Can't force feelings". Domestic life leads them to break every rule- written and unwritten... angst rising due to pasts and insecurity... oc's fear of abandonment, Mingyu's fear of attachment... a minor separation and major realisation... their very own happy ending at last! Mingyu Best Husband Agenda forever)

Minghao: Rival Artists with secret identities dating each other (Minghao dates the pretty stranger on a dating app, agree to keep things casual but lo behold they are falling fast and hard... all is well except both have secret identities as artists who are rivals. they love each other but hate the other's alter-ego... ofc this leads to miscommunication and angst, lost ways and breakups. but this is my imagination so they end up together after everything and conquer the art world)

Seungkwan: Celebrity Fake dating trope (Seungkwan would eat that shit up! Two A-list celebs: Seungkwan and oc, who appear together in a show and fans go crazy for their chemistry but they don't pay head. oc gets caught in a false accusation, needs a distraction- agencies make oc and Seungkwan fake date... on-camera they r perfect but off-cam it's all awkward... planned appearances to becoming friends, trauma bonding... sexual tension rises, life gets complicated, lots of angst later they end up dating happily)

Vernon: Falling without meeting each other (two online friends, fake names but authentic friendship across continents fall for each other without ever meeting other. against all odds they end up seeing each other eventually and staying together... this gives me old cinema vibes but in modern times, Vernon is so Vernon that only he'd be fitting)

Dino: High school fake dating (imagine Dino as Peter Kavinsky from To All The Boys I've Loved Before... a popular softie boy agreeing to fake date the silent girl, the only twist is Dino has been in love with her since middle school, he fell first and harder- a full simp! Very romcom coded angst and happy endings ofc- i just know Dino will make a perfect romcom male lead)

Seungchol: He's like confident and shy at the same time. Definitely gets red as soon as he sees himself up on screen, but he knows it's a one-time chance so he doesn't hesitate to grab you and kiss you with a smile.

Joshua: Thinks it's the absolute funniest thing. Laughs a lot and kisses you sweetly even though you're sitting there embarrassed.

Jeonghan: He's already sitting there with his arm around your shoulder. When he sees himself on screen he kinda smirks and leans in. Your face is hot and you're trying not to let it show, but he just pulls you in closer and kisses you.

Jun: Probably more nervous than you. Takes him a second to realize he's literally on screen in front of thousands of people. When it does process, he kisses you, but it's quick because he's a little scared.

Hoshi: Definitely starts laughing really loudly and pointing at the camera. He yells at you about how you're on the screen and then grabs you and kisses you. He also cheers immediately after.

Wonwoo: He sees himself on camera and instantly gets shy. He didn't sign up for this and wants no part, but you're the one to initiate the kiss. You make it a quick and sweet kiss, and you spare him from the attention and embarrassment.

Woozi: Tries to play it cool at first and pretend he doesn't know he's on screen. You nudge him and tell him people are watching so he kisses you softly and returns to sitting with his arms crossed because he honestly finds them a little cringe.

DK: Definitely laughs and gets really loud and excited. Grabs like your entire body and kisses you. Much like Hoshi, he'll cheer with the crowd too.

Mingyu: Notices himself on camera, probably starts mewing to make sure he looks good. Points it out to you and steals a kiss when you look up at the screen. He laughs about it and puts his arm around your shoulder.

Minghao: Thinks it's a little cringe, but when you point it out and he can see how excited you are, he embraces it and kisses you with a smile.

Vernon: Just kind of... looks around. Might point it out and start laughing and his eyebrows raise up super high. But he does like that boyish grin and kisses you anyway.

Seungkwan: Definitely has a dramatic reaction when he realizes he's on screen. Starts hitting your leg to her your attention and points it out to you before stealing a kiss.

Dino: Points directly at the camera with a smile and moves your head so you can see yourself. Then turns your head again and steals a kiss before cheering.

He’d try to pull the leader card, but it would NOT work, whatsoever. The teasing he’d get from Mingyu would be ASTRONOMICAL (he’d waited his entire life for that). It would also be Chan’s villain origin story, because that would be the perfect opportunity to take revenge for all those years the teasing (you can practically hear him laughing maniacally in the distance).

*ੈ✩‧₊˚ JEONGHAN

I feel like it could go two ways. He’d either be like: “you guys stoooop” (shy bean) or “I know, that kiss was hot, right?” (wink wink). Even though they would definitely tease him, he wouldn’t care that much. At least he gets all the edits and thirst traps now.

*ੈ✩‧₊˚ JOSHUA

They would give him a bottle of water with a label “holy water” and run off. But in the end, despite all the teasing, Joshua would not be bothered. He has better things to do (read: sing “Sunday morning” while crying over his cringy kissing scenes).

Well, looking at what is going on right now, we can tell that he gets some amount of teasing, but a lot of praise too. I think generally with Jun, they are proud of him for pursuing acting and showing his talent in something other than singing and dancing. Still, I feel like he kind of hibernated for the first 48h after the release, to avoid the clowning of the members (but he has seen the memes).

*ੈ✩‧₊˚ HOSHI

Villain origin story, part two: Mingyu edition. It would be his time to take revenge for all the mafia games AND HE WOULD NOT HOLD BACK. That man would follow Soonyoung everywhere and just clown him MASSIVELY. Soonyoung would have to lock himself in his house to avoid Mingyu and even then, the younger would spam him with messages.

*ੈ✩‧₊˚ WOOZI

At first they wouldn’t dare to tease him. They would be afraid that he’d close off after coming out of his comfort zone and starting in a drama. Jihoon’d be actually ready for the teasing, so when it never came, he’d be like ???. That’s when they’d release all their inner jokes about the drama and his performance (especially the steamy scenes). He would laugh with them and not mind the teasing.

He’d take it all like a champion. Nothing can break Jeon Wonwoo. Except for when he’d be alone. Then he’d turn into a babygirl and be like:🥺🫶, guys can you stop, please? But he would never tell that to their faces. Because he’s Jeon Wonwoo. 💪🏼.

He’d start to think about debuting as a solo artist.

There would be no point in teasing Minghao. Would not care. Would not find the teasing amusing. Would probably turn the whole situation around and make fun of the boys instead. It’s all for the art baby.

The moment any of the members would even open their mouth to breath, he’d yell and walk out of the room. After a second though, he’d reappear and start explaining how it is all in the name of art and what it means to be a real actor (it'd turn out that Jeonghan only wanted to ask what they wanted for dinner).

I feel like the members wouldn’t actually tease him THAT much. They’d be proud of him for doing something out of his comfort zone and trying something new. Yeah, surely there would be some teasing, but it’d more like love and praise 🥰 >>>>> teasing.

as someone who's normally your resident cushion, he'd probably be a bit confused when you say that you want him to sit on your lap. gets shy, saying he's probably gonna be rlly heavy for you, so he compromises and puts his head in your lap instead. almost falls asleep as you run your hands through his hair, makes drowsy whiny noises whenever you pause and is just vv soft

jeonghan

he asked if he could sit in your lap first. he asks so casually, so straight-faced, so you end up saying yes and he grins that tiny, satisfied grin before curling up in your lap like a little puppy, head rested in the crook of your neck. he's so warm and comfortable, and seungcheol laughs at him for being a sap but jeonghan just tells him to shut up. still with his head on your shoulder.

joshua

gets all shy and giggly omg. he sits sideways in your lap, legs dangling over your thighs, head on your shoulder, and he's so flustered that he's hiding his face into your shirt. lowkey likes it a lot bc he gets to play with the fingers of one of your hands while the other is wrapped around his waist, securing him in your lap

junhui

mans is practically LEAPING into your lap when you offer PLS. collapses onto you and wraps his arms around your neck instantly, wriggling in your lap all happy and pleased and is almost purring with contentment i swear. doesn't let you try and pull him off at all, he's glued to your lap for at least several more hours now

screeches like some sort of pterodactyl and makes you almost regret asking. pretends that he's going to jump on you before eventually just settling gently in your arms. clings to your front like a koala, and since he's facing behind you he has to crane his neck to join the conversation but there's no way he's moving from his position, not at all

wonwoo

leans against your chest, casual as anything, while you're reading a book on the couch. you tilt the book so he can see what you're reading and he hums in thanks before adjusting himself better against you. he's a comforting, silent weight, and with his head against your collarbone he's at the perfect height for you to drop kisses onto the top of hi hair

woozi

doesn't let you pull him into your lap. ever. it's not happening. but when he's lying down on the sofa, if you come up to him and lift his head up before sitting down again, his head now in your lap, he's not going to complain. likes it the most when you trace the curves of his face with a light finger, sighing in relaxation w the tiniest smile on his lips

minghao

scrunches up all super super small in your lap, his lanky long limbs all folded up until he's basically a ball in your arms. likes it the most when you have your arms securely wrapped around him and keeping him in your embrace, bc it just feels so protective and safe.

mingyu

despite this guy's puppy energy i don't think i can ever see him sitting in his s/o's lap bc i think he'd just prefer being their place of comfort over anything else. that being said, probably flops into your lap to beg for kisses before propping his head on your shoulder and generally being a nuisance till you give in

another person who gets all giggly! he's all "hehe you want me to sit in your lap 🥰" and is going to just be a melty mess in your arms the entire time. basically goes all soft while sitting in your lap, cannot be moved at all. he's just a blob of adoring goo and you're not going to be able to get rid of him

frets that he's going to be a burden for you. is uncomfortable for five whole minutes before suddenly he just completely forgets about it and it's like you have a hyper puppy sitting in your lap as he yaps at chan and wriggles around indignantly whenever mingyu says something weird

sits in your lap while you cradle his head with your arm and coo down at him and tell him how pretty and soft and lovely he looks. he pretends to be all weirded out by it, and yeah it's a little cringy, but there's something so soothing about being in your arms like this after a long day

it's an unspoken agreement between you two. when he's exhausted, mentally or physically, all he has to do is look at you and you're opening your arms and letting him fall into you, hands automatically coming up to pull him into your lap, one hand in his hair and the other on the back of his neck, thumbs rubbing soothing circles into his skin, helping him feel home again.

seungcheol: but i think she would do great on this, it’s truly her field

and he was right about it

vernon: wah it looks like she slipping through the walls?

woozi: wow she really fast! it’s like a wind!

dokyeom: noona must calculated how to move all area

her team cheered and gave applause to her, even minghao's team surprised as well

she placed 2nd by 41 sec

wonwoo gently patted her back and smile, “you did amazing as expected”

mingyu: wow noona did so well... *felt the pressure*

kiki: don’t be nervous, you can do it well too :)

seungkwan: ey noona! you don’t need to cheer the enemy!

of course team carnival beat the team jihonna in this round

when cheol shot a quick glance to jeonghan in the bonus clip of 1st episode, kiki did a double take with a face of disbelieve, looked down from head to toe like U BISH ( ofc for the amuse )

she was emotionally exhausted already, sitting down with a blank face in the background after jeonghan and dino’s competing tackling had ended

when woozi throw a question like “aren’t u guys already tired? people in the cheering seats?” she automatically stand up and said aniya~ but with a same blank face and raspy voice and everyone cracked up even kiki herself couldn’t held a laughter

jeonghan: she is exhausted ajdaxja

kiki: i’m sorry~

she hiped up dokyeom to do til the end as the good noona should

woozi and seungcheol paird up to run the last race together naturally

everyone expected seungcheol will do better than woozi since he was the mc and already moved around constantly

however all soon fidured out that’s not a case

vernon: wait why the hell his so slow!?

dokyeom: it’s not his field he’s too heavy to go fast

cheol, heard what he said: ya what do you mean by that!?

after observed how the race goes, she pulled hoshi who was standing next to her closely and silently said, “...hey, isn’t the leaders unit, like, dead?” and that had him in stitches

surprisingly the match was a close game, but cheol narrowly managed to grab the flag first

kiki was genuinely worried about woozi as he rarely gets exhausted at this level

her team discussed the plan for the team competitions, kiki said “i think they try to disturb me or wonwoo like we will do to myeongho, so if either of us could get through that we have a chance to take 1st place.” and seungcheol agreed, said “yeah we’ll win if we could hold the 8 back,”

after everyone got started, kiki was marked heavily but managed to do through anyway

until jeonghan arrives

kiki: why tf u are here!?!?

jeonghan: come on just join with me on the floor hehe

and just like that, she fell onto the floor

kiki: i swear to god YOON JEONGHAN-

𝐒𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐖𝐢𝐬𝐝𝐨𝐦 𝐓𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐡 𝐎𝐮𝐭

Author's note: I'm back from the dead (finally lmao). A few month ago I got my wisdom teeth out and started writing this, which I just finished (a few months later oops). Hope you'll enjoy!

Seungcheol:

Would be dead serious when it comes to you resting. "Doctor said to rest a lot so you're not moving." Would change the ice on your cheeks and remind you to take your meds when needed. Even if you don't live together he would stay in your appartment, or would take you to his, to keep an eye on you "just in case".

Jeonghan:

His first reaction when he saw you after the removal was to laugh because your cheeks were swollen. Your cheeks eventually got bigger on days 2 and 3 so he mocked you even more and ended up making edits of you as a hamster. Would definitely take 0.5 pics of you and send them to the members.

Joshua:

Would be so, so sweet. Very caring like Seungcheol but less protective maybe? He would come around at your appartment or call you to make sure you're okay and taking your meds and stuff. On the worst days he would surprise you with homemade soup and soft foods to enjoy while watching a movie.

Junhui:

Kinda lost? Like if you come and see him with those ice packs on your swollen cheeks he would be "??? what happened to you??"

Probably never had to remove his so it's like he never knew wisdom teeth existed and taking them out was a thing.

He would be careful around you of course, but don't fully rely on him for medicine reminders because he will just forget.

Hoshi:

A bit like Jun in a way, I think he would forget you cannot eat solid food for a while. Poor Soonyoung would want to susprise you with good food after practice, but you cannot eat it so he'd eat his chicken wings with tears in his eyes while you eat yogurts and soup.

Maybe would try to pinch your cheeks at some point because he just has to, they look so round and pincheable he would not resist. But you pushing him away would eventually give him a hint that it's not the right time to touch your sensitive cheeks.

Wonwoo:

Would give you time to recover alone if needed. Sometimes would send a message to make sure you're alive and doing fine. I imagine him seeing you in person maybe 2 or 3 days after the surgery, and just standing straight while looking at you like "oh, what happened-" but then remembering your wisdom teeth removal and asking you a lot of stuff about it out of curiosity.

Woozi:

Would be your personal guardian of meds and sleep. Like he has his watch or phone at all times to check when you took your last med, and when is the time to take the next one, so that you don't take too much and hurt your stomach. Would order all kinds of soup and eat them with you, you didn't ask him, but he felt like living this suffering of soft foods with you so you don't feel alone.

Mingyu:

A bit like Woozi and Seungcheol; he'd always be around and check on you and the time you took your meds. Would change the ice packs on your cheeks even while you sleep so you don't have to. He'd make soups and soft foods himself and THEY'RE SO GOOD. He would make the food suffering a lot more bearable with his cooking skills!!

The8:

I think he'd mock you a bit on the 2nd or 3rd days because of your swollen hamster cheeks, but once they started healing he'd worry because of the bruises you would develop on the said cheeks. He'd force you go back to the dentist because "it's not normal to have blue cheeks when healing" and "people will think I'm hurting you." He'd eventually feel silly once the dentist told him it was normal and part of the healing process.

He'd be honestly always so confused, Google search would be his best friend. Before and after the removal, he'd look up many informations to make sure he would be able to help you. Examples of his research: "how long before eating solids after wisdom teeth removal"; "do the stitches fall off by themselves wisdom teeth removal"; "how to prevent cheeks swelling wisdom teeth removal."

Vernon:

I feel like he'd be chill about it, not as dramatic as Seungcheol but also more informed than The8 ou Dokyeom. If you have any questions he'll look it up or ask around him to help you out. He'd message you a bit more often to make sure you slept well enough or you ate at least a little. The kind to give you the space you want afterwards.

Seungkwan:

He'd try to contain his laugh but honestly it would be so hard after seeing your swollen face. He'd look away, hand on his mouth and would say stuff like "oh I'll never forget that face"; "I feel so bad but it's just too funny." He'd visually avoid you for a bit and then would help you in your healing journey.

Dino:

He'd be a mix of everyone I think, sometimes he'd laugh a bit at your face, then would help you with the medicine and force you to bed, then would order soup (and even make some himself- which I would not recommend- but at least he tried!). Definitely the type to facetime you when away one evening and burst out laughing at your swollen face appearing on the screen. This shithead.

✿ “ah, you’re pretty”

✿ it just sort of comes out, really. he was taking a couple pictures but he puts your phone down for a second just to look at you

✿ he giggles when you start blushing (the pictures end up being the kind thats a little blurry bc you moved when he got you blushy, but its still aesthetically pleasing)

jeonghan:

✿ he tries to prank you by showing you that he actually took a (very cute and giggly) selfie while you were posing (this selfie becomes your lock screen eventually)

✿ when he sees you scoff he does his specific “hahaha” laugh (y’all know what i mean)

✿ but just as you’re about to smack his arm he swipes left and he actually took a couple good pictures

joshua:

✿ i feel like he’s the kind to be pretty diligent with taking your picture

✿ will direct how you pose (if you want him to help) to get the best possible picture

✿ “mm maybe turn your chin this way just a little bit” he goes, even so far as to demonstrate with his own face

✿ he really tries his best and they’re not totally bad

Summary: As SEVENTEEN are mobbed at the airport Seokmin is helpless to watch his members get hurt.

Seokmin felt his skin crawl as they stepped out of the plane into a private area of the Incheon Airport. It was supposed to be a happy return, a celebration of a successful Japan schedule. Nevertheless, he couldn’t shake the uneasy feeling.

“That’s a lot of fans”, Vernon whispered next to him, nervously looking through the glass wall that separated them from the rest of the airport. While it was supposed to be a private area, the airport did benefit more from the see-through wall with fans milling about in hopes of catching glimpses of their favorite idols and basically keeping the airport afloat just with their expenses in food and drinks. The youngest rapper had never been a fan of crowds, easily feeling overwhelmed and claustrophobic.

Jihoon hummed in agreement, subconsciously sticking closer to Mingyu as he always did in these situations. It was his height, Seokmin supposed, that made him feel vulnerable as he - unlike their tallest - could barely see over the heads of the fans if that.

As Seokmin turned around to search for the 95 liners to alert them to the distressed members he found them already deep in conversation. Seungcheol looked worried but had a comforting hand on Jeonghan’s arm. Joshua was frowning, gesturing. Seeing they were preoccupied with something, Seokmin decided to stick close to Vernon himself, seeing that Mingyu was with Jihoon.

The leader of the hired bodyguards gave the signal to move and that was when Seokmin realized what had the hyungs so concerned. There was only one bodyguard for two members, if that. All their managers were there, too, of course and they all trusted them but their job was not necessarily crowd control or bodily force.

“Hold up”, Seungcheol called quietly from the back and they all turned to stop to look at him. “Since the bodyguard and member ratio is reduced today due to illness, I want us to keep close. Everybody, walk together with another member, build rows of two. Watch out for your partner and if anything is amiss, let us know immediately. Jeonghan and Joshua will go in the front. I’ll stay in the back.”

The members did as Seungcheol suggested and the bodyguards seemed to appreciate his intervention, nodding at the leader. Jeonghan and Joshua passed the group to stand at the front. Seokmin offered his own hand to Vernon who - very grateful for it - pressed it tightly.

Somehow the two of them ended up at the back of the group, just before Seungcheol standing alone. From there they could see the other pairs Joshua and Jeonghan, Hoshi and Seungkwan, Dino and Wonwoo, Mingyu and (likely, they couldn’t see) Woozi, Jun and Minghao.

“Who will look out for you, hyung?”, Seokmin asked, mustering Seungcheol.

“Don’t worry about me, Min-ah”, the leader said in what sounded like it was supposed to be a reassuring voice. It didn’t help calm Seokmin’s bad feeling at all.

Deafening screams greeted them as soon as they walked out of the private area. Vernon had been right. It was a lot of fans. Much more than they had expected and were usual. Way too many for the area and especially with so few guards. They were easily outmatched.

“Hyung”, Vernon whispered, pressing himself tighter to Seokmin.

“It’s okay”, Seokmin tried to set his mind at rest. He might have succeeded more if he hadn’t doubted his own words.

“Don’t worry, you two”, Seungcheol said from behind them, his hand coming to rest on Vernon’s back for a brief second. “Hyung won’t let any harm come to you.”

They made it maybe halfway to the safety of the cars when all hell broke loose. It had been a tense atmosphere and Seokmin had never before been so bothered by the flashes and clicks of phones so close to his face. The bodyguards and their managers did their best to keep the fans away. But the area was just too small.

Every fan just wanting to get a glimpse of their idol, was pushed back into the crowd as the front guards made them part like the red sea. But that pushing turned into more pushing from fans behind. And more pushing from the fans further behind.

Seokmin wanted to do something, be able to beam them to the cars already, when out of a sudden Vernon’s hand was violently pulled out of his grip. Both of them yelled - Seokmin in shock and Vernon in absolute terror. A fan had grabbed onto him, having found an opening between the barrier and using the opportunity to pull the idol into the maelstrom of panicked crowd. A crowd that suddenly had the opportunity to touch and be close to a SEVENTEEN member.

All Seokmin could do was scream again as Vernon was dragged into the hungry sea and a manager wrapped his arms around the vocalist’s middle to stop him from following. The last thing he saw before the crowd close into itself, more interested in vulnerable rapper than the protected members, was Seungcheol diving behind the terrified maknae-line member.

“Let me go”, Seokmin yelled at the manager, fighting against him with all his strength, scratching and kicking as hard as he could, “let me go to him.” The manager just held him tighter, pressing onwards to the VIP entrance area and away from his brothers.

“Seokmin-ah, Seokmin-ah”, somebody called. Joshua. The manager pushed him into the arms of the third oldest before gripping onto the hands of the other managers building a protective circle around the members and pushing them further into the VIP entrance area.

“Hyung”, Seokmin cried, clutching at the older, “Hansol-ah and Cheollie-hyung…”

“They will be fine”, Joshua said, his voice trembling and betraying his own fears even as he pulled Seokmin along further.

It took a few more overwhelming minutes before they were huddled together in the VIP section, separated from the fans. In that time Seokmin hadn’t been able to catch a glimpse of the other members, his face buried in Joshua’s chest but now he stepped back. They had ended up at the far right of the group.

Behind him and Joshua, Jeonghan was yelling at a manager, arguing, and trying to push back into the crowd to their missing members.

On their left Mingyu was holding back a totally distraught Seungkwan, crying for his best friend and their leader. It was clear as day that both of them were terrified but the older rapper held the vocalist tight so he had no chance to run back into the fray.

Jun was whispering to a crying Minghao, trying to calm him down amidst his own fear.

Hoshi, while crying like there was no tomorrow himself, was guiding a shaking and ashen gray Jihoon through breathing exercises.

Then his heart stopped. Counting the members in his head, Seokmin realized that even - including Vernon and Seungcheol - he only got to eleven.

Dino was missing. So was Wonwoo

“Hyung”, he called to Jeonghan, “where are Dino-yah and Won…?”

He interrupted himself as two managers parted from their defense line and … Dino and Wonwoo came stumbling through, collapsing on the ground together. Dino had his arms wrapped around his hyung, acting more like the protector than the protegée. Curious, Wonwoo was seriously whipped for their maknae, his biggest protector, and he never lost his cool as long as no blood was involved.

As Seungkwan and Mingyu threw themselves at the new arrivals, crying and checking them over, Seokmin realized the issue.

Wonwoo’s glasses were missing, likely knocked off in the crowd. He didn’t want to imagine how the rapper must have felt - probably terrified, surrounded by panicked people and unable to see. Chan, now that he understood they were safe, burst into panicked tears as he clutched at Seungkwan’s shirt. He seemed otherwise uninjured - unlike Wonwoo who now pointed Mingyu’s hands that were hovering over him, and unsure if he was allowed to touch, to his ankle. He probably had tripped.

Jeonghan gave up the discussion with the manager and fell to his knees beside the two maknaes sorely missing their third and held onto them tightly.

“Move to the cars”, a manager ordered. A few members - like Hoshi and Woozi and Joshua - seemed relieved to get out of the sight of the crowd, while others - Jeonghan, Dino and Seungkwan - protested loudly, wanting to wait for the missing members.

“Seokmin, get them up”, Jun called and nodded at the others. Seokmin was confused for a moment why he was burdened with such a task - he was a maknae line member himself and the hyungs did their best to leave them out of stuff like this. But then he understood - he wasn’t crying or shaking or injured. He was just numb, now that the crowd had no hold over him anymore, well enough to help the incapacitated members.

While Jun helped Minghao to his feet and guided out a limping Wonwoo with Mingyu’s help, Seokmin knelt down by the terrified trio. “Hannie-hyung. Kwan-ah. Dino-yah”, he called to them, “we need to go.”

“Not without Cheollie-hyung and Hansol-ah”, Seungkwan yelled, causing Seokmin to flinch. But he pressed on.

“Seungcheol and Vernon would want us to be safe”, he said, not realizing how awful, how final those words sounded. Seungkwan whimpered but Jeonghan nodded, understanding that Seokmin was at his wits end.

“Let’s go”, he said and together they walked out, leaving without being thirteen.

Outside of the airport it was a totally different atmosphere. The air was crisp and fresh, no bodies around them fighting. There was so much space. Seokmin helped usher the others into the cars. They had three vans booked, all eight-seaters so members and staff could comfortably be transported. A few body guards stood around, watching the area.

“Come on, get in”, Seokmin said gently and pushed the three into the van already containing Minghao. “Try to breathe.”

When he checked the other vans, he found the second one empty and only Joshua, Wonwoo and Mingyu in the third. Joshua had Wonwoo’s ankle in his lap, looking at the swollen appendage with worry. Mingyu was wiping away the steady tears dripping from Wonwoo’s lashes, occasionally pressing the tissue to his own eyes. Seokmin smiled tightly at them and then turned around to look for the missing members.

Jun, Hoshi and Woozi stood a little further away, likely trying to find some place to breathe easier and understand they were safe for now. Seokmin was about to approach them, coax them into the cars too, when Jihoon suddenly bent forward, retching into a gutter below him. Despite his own distaste for vomit and his usual need to stay far, far away, today he couldn’t be bothered to care. Instead he approached them, watching as Hoshi gently held Jihoon’s hair at the base of his neck and soothed him. In his backpack, he surprisingly hadn’t lost, Seokmin found a water bottle which he handed over to Jun. The chinese member nodded at him in thanks but shooed him away, likely not wanting to deal with the moment Seokmin’s brain caught up to his usual fear.

“Let’s go”, a loud voice called, “everybody to the cars now.”

As he whirled around, Seokmin saw the most beautiful sight in his life. There was Seungcheol, limping badly and his face bruised and in his arms he carried Hansol, who was clutching his hyung so tightly that even from the distance Seokmin could see that he was conscious, body tense in a way it wouldn’t be if he wasn’t.

Seungcheol ignored the worried calls coming from the cars, just walking on like a man on a mission.

“I want every member that needs to be in the hospital in the van Wonwoo is already in”, a manager called. “Who needs to go beside him, Seungcheol and Vernon?”

“Jihoon-hyung, I think”, Seokmin said, looking back over his shoulder to where Jihoon was still hyperventilating and obviously nauseous. “I don’t know if he got injured but he’s been panicking and was just sick. Dino-yah maybe too.”

“I don’t need to go”, Dino called, “I didn’t get hurt.”

“Alright, Mingyu, please go to one of the other vans, so we have some space”, the manager said. Seokmin frowned. Between Joshua, Mingyu and Wonwoo, there were four spaces left. Enough for Seungcheol, Vernon, Jihoon and a manager, not including the driver.

“Hyung?”, Seokimn asked, frowning. Maybe he had miscounted? Or did he want Hoshi or Jun to go with Jihoon?

“You’re going too, Min-ah”, the manager replied. Before Seokmin could tell him he was fine - how had he even come to such a conclusion - his vision swam and he felt his knees buckle.

“That’s why”, the manager said as he caught him against his chest and lifted him to his chest, “you’re hurt, even if you haven’t noticed yet. I bet you don’t even feel the bruises on your face or your split lip?”

Bruises? But as the manager said the words, Seokmin did become aware of how much his head was throbbing and he could taste the blood on his teeth now.

“Oh”, he whispered.

Hours later, all thirteen of them - after much begging on the members side and then much begging on the managers side to convince the hospital staff - were they all gathered in the hospital room Wonwoo, Seungcheol and Vernon shared.

Wonwoo was to be released in the evening, after the swelling in his foot came down and they were able to wrap the ankle in bandages. Mingyu had even remembered to bring his back-up pair of glasses with him. The tallest member was sitting on the bed next to Wonwoo, the older leaning sideways onto him.

Seungcheol with his face bruised and scratched, as well as having a hairline fracture in his cheekbones and a broken toe was to stay the night for observation. The leader hadn’t protested and they all could tell how much the day had drained him. He kept falling asleep on Jeonghan’s shoulder, Joshua asleep on Jeonghan’s lap in turn.

Vernon, by far, was the worst off. He’d been stepped on, his whole abdomen a littering of bruises, a grotesque painting. Even his face hadn’t been spared scratched by a high-heel. He had a slight concussion and was very, very high on pain meds - on one hand - and anti-anxiety medication -on the other. So far, as soon as the dose was starting to wear off did he slip into panic again, just like when Seungkwan left his side. He’d done that exactly once to use the bathroom and the panic it had caused had not been pretty. So he had stayed sitting up on the bed, Vernon’s head in his lap and running lazy fingers through his hair. Chan was sitting beside them and Jun and Minghao had somehow also curled up on the bed, not having let go of one another since they had arrived.

Woozi was curled up on a chair by the window, a breathing mask still over his face. He had started to hyperventilate on and off - every time somebody came too close to him - so to be safe he was still hooked up to the machine. He hadn’t gotten sick since the airport, unlike Dino - who had after it had finally really hit him what happened - rushed off multiple times to throw up, Jun or Joshua hot on his heels to comfort him.

Hoshi was sitting on a small table in the corner, close to Jihoon but also far away enough to give him the space he had requested, looking exhausted and also half-asleep.

Seokmin himself had been declared fine by the doctors - the feared concussion had not been proven by an MRI. His eye was slightly swollen shut from where he apparently had received an elbow to the face and his lip had been stitched but he was also high on pain meds, so he didn’t care much.

The TV was on, volume low enough for members to sleep but loud enough for other members to distract themselves with it. Seokmin lazily looked up from his seat at Mingyu’s feet as the news started.

Maybe they should have realized that it wasn’t the smartest idea.

“After arriving from an overseas schedule the K-Pop group Seventeen has been mobbed at the Incheon Airport”, the reporter said in a monotone voice. A shaky video was blended in, obviously taken by smartphones. By fans, Seokmin realized with horror. People had filmed while they were so terrified for one another.

His heart stuttered in his chest as he saw the scenes he hadn’t been able to see earlier. The fan must have stood on the second floor and had zoomed in on the video, able to overview the crowd.

There Seungcheol was, standing protectively over a curled up figure - Vernon - helplessly on the ground. His face was littered with the same injuries that had been treated but even on the video, even knowing he was fine, it looked terrifying. He never wanted to imagine how Seungcheol felt at that moment - literally the only shield, a very human shield between his member and a mob of scared, panicked fans. His mind circled back to the same question over and over again: What were you thinking, hyung?

He knew that Seungcheol would always do his best to protect his members but this visible sign that he’d rather get hurt than let his members come to harm, it shook Seokmin to the core. He’d never seen anything like that before, such a raw promise. You really love us with all your heart, don’t you, hyung?

The vocalist hadn’t even noticed how hard he was shaking nor had he noticed Seungcheol waking up until the husky voice of the leader called: “It’s alright, Seokmin-ah. I’m fine. You’re fine. We’re all fine. It’s in the past.”

Tears in his eyes and whine in his throat, Seokmin threw himself over to the other bed, careful not to jostle Wonwoo’s foot or hit an injured part of Seungcheol, and fell into his leader’s arms.

“I was so scared, hyung”, he whispered as Seungcheol held him tightly, rocking them side to side with the leader’s shoulder lightly touching Jeonghan’s every time he moved to the left.

“I know, baby”, Seungcheol said, “but we’re safe now. Everything is fine.”

It wasn’t not yet, with so many of them injured and scared. Meetings for safety briefings laid before them and Seokmin felt terrible for wherever would have to face Seungcheol’s wrath for not sending enough guards. But as thirteen together? They were fine.

Hey doll! I saw you tagged for more asks like the Seventeen working at Walmart (which I LOVED btw!) and I've come to deliver! I'm at a Casino hotel overnight with The Bestie™️ and we're down at the pool! So...how about SVT working at a public pool??? 😅😅😅

bc there are so many mf's in this group i hope you don't mind me expanding a little into a hotel/water park resort.

choi seungcheol life guard i have no other reasoning behind this other than i want to see him in the cute red swim trunks ok. drowning myself in the deep end so he can give me the kiss of life. he's probably working the wave pool and like actually has to rescue people every time the big wave hits.

jeonghan is the barrtenderrrr *t-pain voice* and he has to wear that cute little formal fancy bartender fit (u know the one) and he is a prof mixologist like he's making you shit that is not even on the menu and it is amazing.

joshua works at the tiki bar in the water park so he's whipping up daiquiris and other frozen delights all day long and gets to enjoy the sunshine. humor me and picture that pretty golden glow and long sandy blonde hair okay i have a specific vision.

junhui is also a lifeguard but specifically for one of the big water slides - it's so shallow that he usually sits there are just watches all day making sure everyone is safe but witnesses hella ass crack when people try to exit the slide. so he's kind of just a glorified water monitor and buttcrack patrol.

hoshi delivers room service and knows all the hot gossip because holy shit he just left room 212 and the married guy who was just here last week was in there with a completely different woman today. besties with the entire housekeeping staff.

wonwoo is also a lifeguard (shhh there is a lot of water ok) but specifically for the lazy river so he just wades around all-day from one shady spot to the next making sure kids aren't blocking up tube-traffic. He does think it's really fun to walk against the current and considers it his workout for the day.

woozi is singing in the resort lounge like zack and cody's mom but he is getting hella hoes. tip jar on the piano is full of room #'s and key cards. he's like ahaha i'm flattered but no thanks but has given in once or twice after a little convincing from jeonghan.

minghao concierge bro he can get you into ANYWHERE because he doesn't take no for an answer. exclusive restaurant with a waitlist a mile long? reservations at 8pm with a complimentary bottle of wine, baby.

mingyu is so a cabana boy. he's got warm towels, he's got drinks, he's got a shrimp cocktail to deliver, and he's got a creepy cougar to escape from bc she won't stop making passes at him and now he's hiding in the laundry room which leaves...

boo seungkwan, the other cabana boy who is always annoyed and cursing under his breath but can turn his customer service face and voice on and off like a switch. will drag mingyu out of hiding by his hair when he notices it getting too busy.

vernon works at the resort guest check-in and has his speech so automated in his head that if someone interrupts him he loses all train of thought and has to start over. calls the bell boy just for funsies when he is bored which really pisses...

chan the bellboy off because he just ran his ass all the way across the resort thinking he was actually needed but it's just vernon fucking around with an empty lobby. fills those carts to the brim like Tetris and refuses to ask for help bc his pride says he can move all 800lbs of luggage himself.

seokmin i’m so sorry i forgot u baby it’s bc he is so busy working that resort valet parking the NIOCE cars. running around in his lil polo looking all fine and handsome like tip the man bc he uses it on his expensive cologne you can still smell when you get in ur car.

CHAPTER THREE: ONE FOR THE ROAD

Spring Of 1979 - Beginning of "Heaven is Here" Tour

The group breakfast before hitting the road was a tradition since the Day6 days. and that year, the crew at the restaurant were a little bit bigger. Tea arrived at the restaurant wearing sunglasses and with her Polaroid camera around her neck. Her bag was full of film so she could take a lot of pictures. The Polaroid thing started like a hobby, but then turned into an addiction, she would carry the camera everywhere. She had a bunch of boxes full of pictures in her house.

Seungcheol and Jeonghan made sure to not let the boys be late this time, they were the first to get in the restaurant and started eating right away.

Tea arrived alongside Woozi, Dino and Jun, there was no sight of Joshua or Mya yet. Mingyu got really excited to see her, so she ordered a coffee and went to talk to her. She was talking with Woozi sitting by a table.

"Good, morning." He greeted Woozi, then turned to Tea. "I brought you coffee, I didn't know which one you prefer so I brought something sweet." Mingyu said, handing her the cup. His fangs showed while he smiled.

"Oh that was very kind." She said, smiling, then frowned. "But I don't drink coffee, darling."

Dino who was talking to Wonwoo not far away and saw Mingyu handing her the coffee cup headed in her direction, jumping like a little excited kid.

"Is this Tea with a coffee cup?" He asked.

"Yes, you can have it, baby." She said, handing him the coffee.

"Thanks mom." He said in an affected voice, then went back to where he was talking to Wonwoo, Vernon and Jun were thin now.

"Sorry." She said, apologizing to him and tried to get up.

"What do you like to drink then?" Mingyu asked, making her stop on her tracks.

"I'm British." She said with a big smile. "So I drink tea, darling."

"Which flavor do you like? I'll get you some tea." He said, already getting up.

"Oh it's okay, you don't have to." She started, but he interrupted her.

"Strawberry, I bet you like strawberry tea. I'll be right back!" He said, heading to the restaurant counter.

She liked strawberry tea, but it wasn't by far her favorite. She preferred stronger flavors with no sugar. But Mingyu was already in a mission so she couldn't tell him that. And she actually didn't liked the way Americans served tea, so she was probably going to hate any tea they had in the restaurant anyways. But since she already had denied his coffee, she could at least pretend she liked the tea, just for this time.

"He look very invested on making you like him." Woozi said, laughing.

"The poor fella it's making all the wonrg choices tho." You said, making Woozi laugh even more.

Mingyu was back really quick, sitting across from her, beside Woozi, handing her the tea, watching her every move, really curious about her reaction. She sipped just a bit of the tea, and forced a smile towards him.

"Mmm, delicious." She said, making him smile.

"Min, come here." Wonwoo called Mingyu, and he excused himself and went to meet his friend. As he got up, Tea saw Minghao at the door, he greeted everyone on the way and went to her table."

"Good morning." He said, sitting beside Woozi.

"You look like you didn't sleep well." Tea commented.

"And do I ever sleep the night before day one?! It's impossible." He said, making her laughed. She sipped her tea again.

"Oh god, I can't." She said making a disgusted face to the tea "This is terrible."

"I brought real tea." Minghao said sitting right in front of Tea in the restaurant, putting his small suitcase where he carried his traveling tea kit.

"Oh thanks the lord." She said, pushing away the cup of tea Mingyu brought her earlier. "You just made my day, darling." She called a waitress and asked for a kettle of hot water and a clean teacup.

Hao was already opening the suitcase, displaying a large variety of small recipients full of different tea leaves and Tea could cry just by that vision, so she took a picture of him while he was doing his magic. Her tea was almost ready when Mya and Joshua crossed the door and walked towards their table.

Joshua was carrying a gift box, a big smile on his face while he sat beside her.

"Good morning." He said, and Tea gave him a kiss, then catch her camera to take picture of his cute expression.

"How many pictures did you take already?" Mya asked, pouring herself some coffee.

"That was actually the first one." Tea explained "Then took a picture of her friend drinking he coffee.

"Let me borrow this for a second." Mya asked, reaching for the camera."I want to take a picture of you too.

"Yes, take a picture of her opening her gift." Shua said.

"What gift?" Tea's voice got higher as she got excited.

Mingyu who as at a near table ad heard the commotion, looked on T

"Open and you'll see." He said, handing her the box.

"This is from both of us, by the way." Mya explained, exchanging a look with Joshua before Tea opened the box. "And this one is from the four of us." Mya said, putting another box on the table.

On the first box were an orange film camera, it was s beautiful.

"This is so beautiful." She said. "I loved the color. Thank you."

Mya exchange a significant look with Mingyu, who throws her a wink while smiling widely.

"Open the bigger one." Mya suggested

The other box was a lot bigger, and inside of it there was a really different camera.

"It's a Super 8." Joshua explained "It's a video camera And with this one you can also record audio simultaneously."

"We thought would be a nice upgrade to your photography thing." Mya added.

Tea was covering her mouth, in shock. That was an amazing gift, and she was lost of words because of that.

"This is amazing, thank you guys." She said 'I really loved it"

"Go ahead take a picture of us on your new camera." Minghao said, pulling Joshua and Mya closer.

"Jun, Dino go to the other side of the table so you are in the picture too!" Tea ordered and they obeyed.

She had took a couple of pictures when Mingyu got closer.

"Do you want to join then in the picture?" He asked, pointing to the camera. I can area picture for you."

"Yes, thank you." She said handling him the camera.

"Ok, on one two three, cheese." Mingyu said then took he picture.

"Thank you." Tea said again, when he gave her back he camera.

"So you are into photos." He said, sitting beside her at the table taking Dino's place.

"Yes " she said simply.

"You know... I was apart of the photography club in high school. I even study I few semesters of photography in college."

"Really?" She said, looking excited to talk to him for the first time since hey met.

"I have one of his cameras, mine is black. It's in my bag." He pointed. "I can give you some tips on how to use it, if you want.can give.

"Oh I would love to, thank you " she was very polite, and really look forward to it. Mingyu was proud to finally being able to hold a conversation with her without her running away.

"I hope we have time for that on the road." He said.

"I'm looking forward to it." She said, then nodded politely and walk away, back to her friends.

"Why don't you go around and take some pictures?" Dink suggested.

"Would you be in charge of the pictures? I want to try to record some things with the video camera." She pointed out.

"Okay." Dino nodded and take the camera, going around to take some pictures of the breakfast.

Mya was peaking at both of then having fun taking pictures and filming everyone around. She got up to grab some coffee.

Seungcheol followed her to the counter.

"Morning." He said, his voice was raspy and he looked sleepy.

"Hi." She said, pouring herself a big mug of coffee.

"Isn't that too much coffee?" He asked.

"Isn't that too much of a intrusion of you to say how much coffee I should drink?" She teased him, then turn away. She went to the door, passing by Dino and Tea photographing Hoshi and Seungkwan, who were making funny poses. She went outside, needing some fresh morning air before getting stuck on a bus for hours. Seungcheol followed her.

She leaned by the restaurant wall, closing her eyes and sighing.

"Do you mind If I join you?" Seungcheol asked

"Will you go away If I told you to?" She asked, looking at him with a disgusted face.

"Do you really want me to go?" He asked, and stated at her for a feel seconds.

"Whatever." She said, taking a cigarette from her pocket.

Seungcheol walked towards her, stopping by her side, his shoulder touching hers.

"Did you enjoy your meal that day?" Mya asked, putting the cigarette between her lips.

"It was nice." He said. "I paid for it by the way."

"I know." She said. "The waiter told me."

Seungcheol blinked, surprised.

"Would it be that bad if a girl paid for you meal?" She teased him.

"That's not the point. We agreed that I was going to pay, I am a man of word." Be said.

"Well, that's good to know." She said. "I will remember that in the future."

"So, have you decided to give me and bandmasters a chance after our conversation?" He asked.

"I thought you didn't want me to like you." She teased him.

"Well, I might have changed my mind, maaybe I want to know you better, maybe even become friends." He said.

"Well... Let's see what happen." She said, winking at him, he a loud horn sounded, getting her attention.

She turned around covering her eyes because of the sun, and saw two big super colorful busses entering the restaurant parking lot, he horn came form he first bus, where she could see Dokyeom beside the driver. When he busses parked, he came out to greet her.

"You really know how to make an entrance." She said, still a bit shocked.

"Did you like he busses? They are awesome, right?!" He asked, really excited.

"The are early colorful." Seungcheol pointed out.

"We need to be seen, my friend." Dokyeom said. "I'll get in, I'm starving!"

DK then entered the restaurant, kicking the door open and making a dramatic entrance.

"Daddy is here kids!" He exclaimed, making everyone inside surprised and confused. "Hope you are all ready to hit the road." He said, walking around like the crazy fool he was, going straight to where Woozi was looking at him with a disappointed expression.

"Can you behave for the sake of the integrity of this place?" Woozi said "If you break anything I'm the one paying for it."

"Don't worry, I won't break anything." DK said, taking a cup of coffee.

"Os everything ready?" Woozi asked.

"Sure, I didn't sleep in thirty hours, but everything is set up. All the equipment, luggage, the busses filled with gas, the rout set and the hotel reservations done. I'm the best, you can admit."

"Congratulations for doing you job." Woozi said, annoyed. "Well since you are here and Everything is settled, I can go back to my work. Good luck on the road." Woozi said and went to say goodbye and wish luck to the members of the respective bands, but couldn't find Mya or Seungcheol, which he though was weird.

But when stepped out of the restaurant, they were together, smoking and talking.

"Are you leaving already?" Mya asked, looking at him.

"Yeah, since DK is here, I can go back to the studio." Woozi explained. "Come here, give me a hug so I can go." He said, opening his arms to welcome the girl who hugged him tightly. "Good luck." He said, then got closer to Seungcheol. "Good luck for you too, and don't forget what we talked about."

Seungcheol nodded, and Mya looked suspicious to both of then, but didn't said anything. It definitely had something that she wasn't aware of what was happening, and she would end up finding out, even though they were trying to hide it from her.

Soon, half of the crew was outside, led by DK, to see the busses. Tea was taking pictures of Jun and Dino who were joking around, Hoshi was vibrating from excitement, literally. Everyone else looked really happy and excited to hit the road, Joshua was smiling non-stop, even Wonwoo, who was more collected, looked excited in his quiet way, with a small smile on his lips. Mya looked for Mingyu, but he was nowhere to be seen.

Tea got closer to Mya grabbing by her hand, pulling her to take some more pictures with her band mates and the other boys.

"C'mon everybody, I want a picture of the whole group!" Tea said. Everyone was there except for Mingyu. She took some pictures of the group, and asked one of the staff members to take one of her with the group too. Then everyone started to get ready to embarking on the busses.

"Where is Mingyu?" Jeonghan asked, he just had a small Reunion with DK and Minghao about the logistics of the trip and was checking some stuff before they go.

"Have no idea." Vernon said, and no one seemed to know where he was.

"I'll go find him, Maybe he's in the bathroom." Wonwoo commented, and went looking for his friend.

Wonwoo looked for Mingyu through the restaurant, and the inside bathrooms, but couldn't find him, until he heard his voice on a back room. He got closer and heard he laughing and the moans, the he knew exactly what he was doing. He knocked on the door, calling for him.

"Mingyu, everyone is ready to go, we are just waiting for you." Wonwoo said inpatient.

It took just a few seconds till he opened the door and a flustered waitress to got out of the room, she was fixing her clothes and hair, and looked at Wonwoo full of embarrassment.

Mingyu on his turn was with a quirk grim on his face, looking really relaxed and satisfied.

"Dude." Wownoo said, shaking his head in disapproval.

"What?" Minguy said, pretending to be confused. "Can't I have some fun before hitting the road? C'mon, I don't even know when I'll get the chance to be with a pretty girl like this since we are going to a long trip."

"I guess there are waitress and maids on the road too." Wonwoo said, knowing his friend very well.

"Yeah... And there's always our new girl friends." Mingyu teased him.

"Dude, you need to stop saying thing like this." Wonwoo scolded him, but Mingyu didn't take it serious. "Now let's go, Jeonghan it's probably planning to kill us both by now."

Mingyu just laughed and followed his friend to the bus.

"I guess there are waitress and maids on the road too." Wonwoo said, sounding annoyed.

"Yeah... And there's always our new girl friends." Mingyutetorted, his voice full of pride.

The conversation kept replaying on Dino's mind. He had overheard Wonwoo e Mingyu conversation when he came back to the restaurant to catch a bag he forgot. The other two didn't saw him, but he heard what they were tlking about Mya and Tea. Wonwoo looked really annoyed, bu t Mingyucouldn't care less about how disrespectful he was being.

"Hey, why are you so quiet and so serious?" Tea asked Dino, they had been on the road for at least half an hour by then and he looked lost in thoughts.

"Am I?" He asked, surprised by her question. She nodded, worried. "Sorry, I guess I'm just tired." He lied.

"Already?" She asked, worried.

"Yeah, I didn't sleep well last night, was to excited for today."

"You should take a nap then." Tea suggested. "I'll try to keep Jun quiet and distracted so you can sleep."

"It's okay, I'm not that tired yet." He said smiling.

"Want to play a game?" She asked.

"Sure." He said, trying to distract her from the fact he was s bit off.

"Fortunately..." She started and he smiled. "We are going to our first world tour."

"Unfortunately..." he retorted "It's not just the five of us. Still there's the other band."

"Fortunately they seem good guys." She argued.

"Unfortunately, I have to disagree."

"Fortunately, you will tell me why." She said, more like a suggestion.

"Unfortunately, I don't like then at all." Dino said.

"Why?" She asked. "You seemed like you were enjoying their company earlier today."

"That was strike one, two more and you out." He said, changing the subject back to the game. "Unfortunately, you weren't paying attention to the game." He started the second round.

"That's strike one for you, you should restart the game changing our places." She pointed out.

"My bad." He said, realizing his mistake. "Can I try again?" She nodded.

"Fortunately you are a good friend." He said.

"That's not fair, I don't know how to add an 'unfortunately' after this!" She sulked.

"Then that was strike two." He said, smiling like a naughty kid.

"Fortunately, I start the round now." She said.

"Unfortunately, you can't beat me." He Bragged.

"Fortunately I can still try."

"Unfortunately, for you, I'll still gonna win."

"That's not fair, you always cheats." She complained.

"That's not true, I just want to win at all costs, you shouldn't be so naive and believe I would play fair. Most people don't do so. Where is your competitiveness?"

"I'm competitive, I just like to win with honor." She pointed all.

"Yeah, I know that." He said. "Want to go another round?"

"Oh goddess, please, no." Mya said. "This game is super annoying."

"Oh come on?!" Tea protested.

"I'm with Mya on this one." Joshua said, he was sitting with his head throw back at the seat with sunglasses on, he looked like he was about to fall asleep.

"What about you Jun?" Tea asked.

"There are better games to play." He said, shrugging.

"Traitor." Dino said and Jun just shrugged again.

"Awn we are already fighting and it's been just day one." Mya said.

"We are not fighting, yet." Jun pointed.

"We are just bored." Dino said.

"Let's play a game then..." Tea suggested again.

"Sweetie, I love you but please, no.' Joshua said, Tea sulked at him . "We all should rest while we can."

"I have some cross words, wanna do together?" Jun asked her and saw he eyes glistening.

"Yes!" She exclaimed, moving to sit next to Jun.

"Can I join?" Dino asked and Jun nodded, then the three of the leaned by the newspaper to solve the crosswords, while Joshua tried to sleep and Mya was looking through the window to the bus who was just behind theirs, imagining what the passengers of it were doing.

"If you don't stop doing this I'll throw you out of the window." Seungkwan threatened Hoshi who was tapping with his drumsticks on the floor of the bus

"I'm bored." Hoshi said, he was sitting upside down on his seat, tapping the drumsticks on the floor.

"I'm not going to survive this." Seungkwan said. "It's been what? A few hours? And you are already testing my patience."

"What patience? I thought you didn't had this." Hoshi teased him.

"EXACTLY, THAT'S THE POINT!" Seungkwan exclaimed, mad.

"C'mon boys, that's enough, if you don't stop I'll throw both of you out of the window." Jeonghan said, making then finally stop.

Those two were the only ones trying to establish chaos. Vernon was sitting, whispering a melody, stuck on his own world, Wonwoo was by his side reading a book and Mingyu was taking a nap as Seungcheol was too busy talking to Jeonghan and DK about the plans for the tour.

"Isn't it weird that the Los Angles concerts are the last ones?" Seungcheol asked. "I mean... We are already here?"

"Not really." DK explained. "It's more to create anticipation and a vibe. The LA concerts are the bigger ones in audience, only loosing to the New York one, so we need to create this atmosphere for it. LA is High as Hope's home, so it needs to be special."

"Talking about NYC..." Vernon asked, getting on the conversation. "Are we really going to play at Madison Square Garden?"

"Yeah." DK said. He was supper excited about it.The band had performed in a lot of places, out and in the country, but that would be their first time on a stage that big, with such a huge crowd. "And it's practically sold out already, even though the show is only after the European Tour, months from here."

Vernon's eyes sparkled. The idea of playing at the most important arena of his home city was crazy, even just opening for another band. He couldn't wait for that.

"So... Do you think we would still be opening for the High as Hope till then?" Scoups asked.

"Yeah, I think so, you guys are good, and till then you will probably be working on your own album, would be a good promotion for you " DK guaranteed. "Well but I can't promise anything, those things are up to Jihoon. I just take care of the things on the road. And talking about it, we are getting close to our first stop for gas, I need to talk to the driver." he said, getting up and going to the front of the bus.

When the bus stopped at a gas station a few minutes latter, everyone was happy to get off the bus, some to go to the bathroom, others just to stretch the legs, other to look around at the convenience store.

"Lee Dokyeom, you have abandoned us." Mya said, when she left the bus.

"I would never." he said. "I'm going on you bus when we finish here."

"Too late, I no longer want your company, go with your new band. I don't need you anyways." He new she was just being dramatic, so she went after her when she got to the grocery store.

Tea was the last one to left their bus, Wonwoo who was silent leaning at the other bus notice her. She looked tired and sleepy as she took of her round sunglasses. She was wearing denim shorts, cowboy boots and a kimono over a super small blouse, a Walkman stuck on her shorts while she hummed the song coming from the earphones as she walked towards the grocery store. She looked so small and so fragile, she was so lean that she looked like she could be carried away by the breeze.

It was heart for Wonwoo to believe that was the girl who had a voice who could summon storms. That was how Tea was know, on the last year, hwile High as Hope was performing at a festival at New York, a storm took the field while she was singing a song about a storm. It was almost like a magical coincidence. and their faithful fans started to call her a force of nature herself.

That description didn't matched the girl in front of his eyes at all. She was beautiful, of course she was, but in a more delicate and fragile way.

Wonwoo wanted to talk to hear even before meeting her, the rumors and all the good thing Woozi and everyone from the studio and the label said about how Te was an amazing composer only made him wanting to meet her even more, but he didn't had the chance to have am actual conversation with the girl since the first day they were introduced to each other, so he decided to embrace his chance, even if it was going to be just for a few minutes, to try and talk to her now that she was alone.

He followed her to the back of the store, to the refrigerator, she was looking to the drink cans, choosing two different flavors of cold tea.

"I guess you stage name suits you." he said, getting closer to her.

"I'm sorry... what did you said?" she asked, taking of the earphones.

"I said you name really suits you." he repeated, signaling to the cans on her hand. "You drink a lot of tea."

She laughed.

"I guess you can say so." she said, shrugging. "Even though this is not as far as good as actual tea, but its what we have for now."

"I guess I'll choose something else to drink, I was thinking about trying one of these." he commented, pointing to the cans she was holding.

"I guess they are good if you are not British like me and are used to real tea." she commented. "Here, try this one." she handled him one of the cans, then opened the refrigerator to get another can. "Tell me latter if you liked it." She said with a big smile, heading to the cashier, stopping by a shelf full of candies, right beside Mingyu who was picking M&M's.

"Want something sweet?" Mingyu asked her with a flirtatious grim.

She didn't answered, just looked at the shelf and almost cried when she saw the red box with the small red packages with a rainbow on it.

"Oh my god, I can't believe it!" she exclaimed, almost dropping the cold tea cans trying to catch the packages of candy. "Dino, come her you wont believe me." she said, screaming ate the boy who was at the back of the store.

"What's wrong?" he came running, giving Mingyu a suspicious look.

"They have skittles." she said, showing him the candy. "Can you believe this?"

""For fucks sake woman, I thought you needed help or was in danger, ll this for those little bitches? You fucking scared me." he said, looking relieved.

"Dude..." Mingyu was staring at him, in complete shock. How could a little guy like him curse that much in such a small phrase. "You should talk like this in front of a girl."

"Tea is used to it, actually she curses a lot too." Dino said, and he thought about scolding him for his fake niceties in front of Tea when he was so disrespectful early that day when she wasn't around, but he didn't want her to be pissed, mainly cause she was so happy because of those fucking candies.

"What's the thing with those candies anyway?" Hoshi who was nearby asked, taking a package to analyze closely. "They look like M&M's."

"They are very different, to start with, they are not chocolate." Tea said. "They are fruit sweets, its so refreshing. I tried then for the first time in London when I was visiting my family. I thought we don't have it here on America."

"They started to import this a while a go." a young boy who worked on the stored pointed. "But it's not easy to find everywhere since is still a new thing. "

"How much for the box?" Tea asked, pointing to the candy.

"Are you really going to buy a whole box of skittles?" Joshua asked, surprised.

"Yes, I don't know when or where I'm going to find it again, its going to be a long trip." she got the box and went to the cashier.

oooOOoooOOo what a fun question lets seeeeeeeee 👀

Fast:

Dino: catches feelings FAST and struggles to get over them. with a pisces venus he’s really really really impressionable in love and affection. very quick to want share it with the right person and DEEPLY devoted. sag moon makes him such an optimist/idealist, too, which adds to this whole lovestruck vibe. he builds a perception of the dream outcome and fixates on it. a puppy of the love sick variety FOR SURE.

Soonyoung: he’s very receptive to people who are exciting, intelligent, and funny. he will literally fall IMMEDIATELY for someone if they make him laugh enough and seem very passionate about what they do. he’s going to want to talk to them for HOURS he’s that infatuated. with that being said, he can get over them pretty easily if his leo rising wasn’t given the chance to get super invested.

Seokmin: with a cancer moon he can get attached to people fairy easily. especially if they offer him affection and comfort, he’s quick to latch on and not want to let go. add in a libra mars that loves the idea of love and he’s done for as he relies on assuming the best intention/outcome and stores his feelings there. it really wouldn’t take a lot for him to get to that point, and from there he may struggle to move on.

Fast/Average:

Mingyu: that aries sun in him likes who he likes and wont think twice about it. with that being said, he has such steady/logical earth placements that make him not super overwhelmed by these feelings. naturally romantic, very devoted. it doesn’t feel like “catching” feelings to him, just like growing super fond of someone more and more. but it’s the ease he lets these emotions flow that are what i’d consider make him “quick to fall.”

Seungcheol: his leo is truly a romantic and if the right person comes along, he’s pretty easily wooed. he also has a libra mars like dk which can make him very romantic. he really wants to find a place to put those feelings, and so love/relationships are a really attractive idea to him. his cap influence makes him pretty logical/cautious with these things tho. his heart is fast to fall but his mind isn’t!

Jihoon: i had him lower but i CHANGED MY MIND. his libra venus craves love/companionship and can get pretty fixated on it. he’s someone who can really feel his loneliness which can make him pretty eager to latch onto someone he thinks fits the bill. but i think he’s too independent to let that sway him enough to put himself out there before fully assessing the situation and feeling them out.

Jeonghan: this guy really craves love and affection and is prone to romanticizing just the idea of love/relationships. he’s the type to think A LOT about dating but that scorpio mars makes him very discerning and guarded as well. he finds crushes pretty troublesome which prevents him from actively pursuing love even if he catches feelings. if the right person comes along tho, he’s STUCK.

Slow/Average:

Wonwoo: it’s hard to say with wonwoo. he’s a romantic at heart with that leo that loves romance as a concept and all the beautiful and dramatic things that come from the idea of a whirlwind romance. not to mention a gemini venus and mars that can become infatuated easily. with that being said, he’s a very logical, level-headed person. he’s gonna scope out the situation more before getting to that point and is capable of dipping out if he so chooses. (tho i do think intellect is the way to get him fast).

Vernon: so this guy is also in this weird limbo. he’s naturally very feeling and committed thanks to that pisces/scorpio, but that scorpio also makes him very calculated/cautious in relationships and that cap venus is pretty slow to fall. pisces may throw that off every now and again and bring out the more spontaneous romantic in him. he may also fall fast if someone intrigues his aqua enough.

Jun: he has a very romantic/companion based chart. he wants to live his life with a partner thanks to that taurus influence, and those gemini placements can be pretty easily wooed. with that being said, i think his taurus is too hard to convince sometimes. can certainly be fascinated with someone without having to catch feelings. def very committed once caught, just not the fastest at catching them in the first place.

Slow:

Joshua: okay joshua is difficult to place. in my head i thought he was either going to be all the way at the top or more towards the bottom. i’m choosing bottom only because i think his earth influence really causes much more a delay in him when it comes to romance even if he has this very reactive and sensitive afflicted moon. i think he has a lot of romantic thoughts/tendencies, but i don’t think they hit him over the head in the “catch feelings” sense. probs the type to fall fast but take FOREVER to realize he caught them in the first place.

Seungkwan: when it comes to love i don’t think he sees it so much as catching feelings, as it is more so about deciding to associate those feelings to someone he finds he respects, vibes with, and is proud enough to want to make his s/o. he approaches love in a very purposeful way. also, his cap and virgo influence are super particular about where he expresses devotion, but once he’s there that’s when he lets his romantic side out.

Minghao: he’s got all the makings for a very dedicated, very intense, romantic boyf. with that being said, his chart is ALL about composure. his scorpio wants control, his aqua moon wants freedom, his cap venus wants reliability. so while he is certainly a charming and romantic guy, it takes a lot of time and a lot of tests for him to get to the point where, on the scorpio scale of reference, he’d say he’s in deep with someone. lolol maybe to an air sign he seems fast to catching feelings. for him, it’s a process.

Caratland 2022 - Day One || Minnie

As expected by Carats, Minnie didn’t change her hair colour

Once the doors opened, she was seen standing between Dino and Jeonghan and couldn’t help but to smile when she got see Carats again

During their game segment, she sat down between S.Coups and Seungkwan

She wasn’t very good at answering any of the questions, so just decided to sit back and enjoy, laughing at the others who tried so hard

At some point during the performance she could definitely feel some sort of panic rising up inside of her. Minnie just suddenly felt very overwhelmed with being on stage again after such a long time of not performing in front of a crowd. Everything was fine after a few deep breaths though.

Since her and Seungkwan are known to have a very broad knowledge when it comes to K-Pop, she served as the joker for the next game and whoever won Rock, Paper, Scissors, was allowed to have her on the team.

She was put into Team V with Dino, Mingyu, Vernon, and Hoshi.

Minnie was laughing her ass off at Minghao, who was forced to sing “Horangi Power” and Jesus Christ, her face when Jeonghan performed “Cold Blooded”😳.

She was Jun’s biggest hype woman during his performance of “Crooked”

And she smiled so hard when Joshua had to sing “Zero Conduct” because it surprised her how much he got into it.

OOOOH, what a SHOCKER this stage was😮‍💨

God damn…

A lot of Carats got to question their sexuality thanks to Minnie.

After some consideration because of certain dance moves, they still decided to go with just giving the members the same roles as the individual ‘96 Liners have, so:

Jun -> Minghao (Lead Dancer)

Hoshi -> Minnie (Main Dancer)

Wonwoo -> Mingyu (Main/Lead Rapper)

Woozi -> DK (Main Vocalist)

Did Minnie wear a black bra on purpose? Yes. Yes, she did. And she got a high five from the stylist. The rain was a paid actor that night.

The VCR was… quite something.

She was put as Mingyu’s cowgirl friend and god, she was not able to hold back her laughter for long.

She slipped. Of course she did. And she cursed. Thankfully, the microphone didn’t get it but damn she was annoyed.

After the performance her and Dino tried to glide across the stage and she would’ve fallen again if it wasn’t for Wonwoo catching her. Eventually he just joined them.

Minnie scolded him for taking off his shoes.

Minnie was sitting between Joshua and Mingyu and the moment they sat down, looking straight ahead into the crowd, she could already feel herself tearing up.

Hearing all the member’s words just made her feel even more emotional, but she was able to hold the tears back. Mostly.

When she put on the jacket, Mingyu turned to her and saw her red eyes and started smiling at her and telling her to not cry because if she starts crying, he would too.

Her end ment:

“First of all, thank you truly, so so much for being here tonight and for fighting the cold and the rain. We’re up here moving around, so it’s not too cold, but you’re just sitting there. But you’re still here, so I’m very grateful for that.” She paused a little and looked down.

“I told you, don’t cry,” Mingyu warned her with a smile.

“It’s really hard!” She whined, making Joshua laugh as he patted her back.

Minnie sniffed, ”This still doesn’t feel real if I'm honest, so I’m sure that I’ll cry a lot once I get home and realise what happened today. After not seeing you guys for so long… it will take some time to get used to this again.” She thought about her next words, but decided to say them anyways, “During one of the performances today, I started feeling a very familiar feeling from back in the days that I would get sometimes whenever we performed in front of a bigger crowd. But I held it back because... I thought that it’s not worth being anxious about something so beautiful like this. And now looking at you with your posters and lightsticks,”

“And Sogos,” Hoshi added,

“And the sogos of course,” she laughed, “I remember why we’re doing all of this. During those 2 years, I think, all of us at some point felt a little… lost... and unsure about the future. But today I just got reminded of how amazing it is what we get to do and… who I get to do this with.”

She paused, feeling a lot of tears coming up, “Because it’s… it’s the members for one, but also you guys,” pointing at the crowd, “we’re doing this all together, we’re going through all of this together. And… I’m- I'm so insanely grateful for every single one of you. And the members of course.”

All of the guys “awed” into their microphones, making her laugh.

“Yeah… And...," she chuckled, "I couldn't hold myself back today, so I sneaked closely to the entrance to watch some of you when you got in and I couldn't believe it. You guys made yourself so pretty and showed up in skirts and such beautiful outfits even though the weather forecast said it would rain. I really appreciate that, but I was also so worried for you. It's so sweet of you and I'm definitely going to remember this. I honestly don't think, I will ever be able to completely understand the love that you guys have for us. It's... so grand and I'm not sure if I'll ever... just... realise how big it is. But please know that I appreciate and respect you so SO much. I wish I could explain it with words... but... I can't really... so... I hope that our actions will speak for us."

She took a deep breath, "I’m gonna hold back before I start crying more, but from the bottom of my heart… thank you and please make sure to take a very long hot bath or shower, take some medicine and snuggle into your bed with the heater on, alright? Don’t get sick, we still have a lot more for you guys.” With a wave, an air kiss and a sad smile, her speech ended.

Minnie was on the moving platform with Joshua, Mingyu, and Wonwoo, covered in the sweatshirt and jacket, pockets filled with heating pads, trying to stay as warm as possible.

Wonwoo was trying to comfort her once he noticed that she started tearing up more again while watching the passing fans, waving at them. They stayed close throughout this segment.

A 144p picture indicates that they got a little very close when Wonwoo was asking her if she was alright, but she couldn’t hear him well, so he had to lean in more

Too keep herself from crying, Minnie was focusing on the other members having fun, but that kinda only made her want to cry more.

In another picture, more clear, Minnie was seen raking her fingers through Wonwoo’s hair, trying to keep it out of his eyes - it made both of them smile because the rain was too heavy and just ruined whatever hairstyle she was trying to give him. To not be too obvious, she did the same with Mingyu, who messed up his hair on purpose, earning him a ‘are you serious?’ look from her and a soft slap on his cheek.

She truly actually missed the endless Aju Nice encore and couldn’t help but to smile for almost the entire time.

At some point Wonwoo put a somewhat dry towel over her head and told her to try to keep her hair under it so it wouldn’t get wet and she wouldn’t get sick. Carats joke that that was his Asian mum instinct.
