i INSANTLY caught onto the bacchus theme in the last scene n all i want to say is ben (coach) is pentheus.

LEMME EXPLAIN!! if i remember correctly, in the bacchus pentheus watches the bacchae n when he’s spotted by them he gets chased and torn to shreds right? Ben watches the group n actively chooses not to participate. they’re def gonna notice this. n in the trailer you’ve got all of them chasing something and i think that something is ben.

like the bacchae they will chase ben (pentheus) n tear him to shreds (hoping they completely all out w the barbarism n put his head on a pike, exactly like the tragedy)

Yes! I’ve read both of those—MAGNUS THE LOML he’s an icon like him, percy, apollo and leo are all such big moods (also the chapter names always sent me)

THE REALEST (honestly did not see the plot twist coming though so I was just sat processing the page for a long time) (love how flawed both of them were though, also just interesting how the way queer people were viewed and all lead to like the elements of biphobia and sorta male gaze-y view of their relationship in some parts, when Evelyn refers to it? Also just the way they grew from it, grew back together and unlearned it?)

AGGGTM is literally so amazing like the author’s minddd it’s insane to me how she ties elements from each book in such a way that the subsequent ones kind of tie back into details from the first book, and the second book, so it’s like all interlinked in a way that’s so interesting and kind of keeps you guessing like hands down compelling murder trilogy I’m still kinda shook you should absolutely read it 😭

hello! firstly i loved your blog! and i finished yellowjackets now, this show is WILD. like i get the most things about it but the ending? like i never get why everyone is listens lottie 😭 or like when it ends it's nat? and the whole "antler queen" thing? i'm sorry but i just need some explanation..and jackie, god i miss her sm

awww thank you!!!! i really think why people listen to lottie is up to individual interpretation but i think a lot of it are events in s1 (for people like mari, van at least) such as food is coming soon and the bear arriving, the river of blood, the french speaking etc. thats led to their later belief in s2 shes keeping them safe. and you know, when theyre stuck out there with not a lot of hope or faith or much of anything to believe in, it makes sense i think for them to migrate to a anything that gives them hope and faith and lottie does that. in the most unsafe situation, believing lottie keeps them safe is security in a way. like they'll be okay if they follow her lead. for misty i think its more that she goes along with the crowd, she will always follow the popular choice bcus she wants to fit in. the antler queen thing is related to the pilot and the person in the centre in the antler headdress who appeared to be the leader of the group. since then theres been a lot of theories about who it was of the group but most people seemed to think it was lottie. in the finale she passes the baton to nat, claiming shes the leader and not herself, seemingly crowning her as antler queen. ofc thats not definite until they physically show us, but that seems to be where theyre going. im not really sure what you mean when it ends its nat? as in why its nat who's in charge or her death? shoot me another ask and ill try to explain as best i can.

I've been having a little break from TWD (for my own sanity) only popping in here and there on SM. Who knew there was a whole load of fab stuff to watch other than TWD. Yellowjackets, The Flight Attendant, The Tourist, the new season of Killing Eve and my new fav The Boys, brilliant. But even after broading my horizons a bit there is still absolutely nothing that compares to Caryl. Nothing that fills my heart so much as those stupid pair. So here I am, back on here, pining after my loves. Haven't caught up with 11b, still unsure I want to just yet. But 9L here I come, I have so many stories to catch up with, you authors are the best and I've missed you so much ❤
