You know what I would like to know? And Carylers, seriously, help me out on this one. When Carol first opens the door, we see a hesitant Daryl, not knowing if he should move first or wait for her. But he looks like he wants to hug, right? I heard that when people are anxious, they crave human contact. Well, Daryl looks anxious here to me. And there isn't any dialogue, which means their telepathic and nonverbal communication is going to compensate majorly for it.
Which happens, as Carol actually initiates the embrace. And you can hear their breathing and it does things to me that make me FEEL and I can't-
But something very curious to me. Notice how he's hugging her, and then looks like he needs to pull away. What is THAT about? Like, to me, I think an argument can be made that he needed to stop himself from lingering too long. His eyes are open the whole time, too. Which would indicate that he has things on his mind to tell her. That he wants to tell her. But he needs to gauge her first. But...doesn't it look like he is trying to restrain himself when Carol was perfectly content to keep hugging him like they were doing? Hmmm...and then later that night, we actually were aware that Daryl doesn't want Carol apart from him. I think it is a continuation from this moment above earlier in the day but at night gives it a more romantic feel.
Like Daryl came over, she opened her doors to him.
Ezekiel came over, she stood her ground like a watchdog keeping an eye on her property. Like "Thou shalt not pass"
Ezekiel brought her food, and she didn't like the gesture. Daryl comes over and she gives him food.
Ezekiel tries a surface level attempt at understanding Carol's needs (i.e. "your desire is solitiude") that only annoys her.
Daryl has a deep level of what Carol needs and doesn't push her to come back (i.e. he lies to her about their encounter with the saviors) that gives her relief.
Ezekiel comes to check up on Carol with his subjects (I guess trying to impress her)
Daryl comes to check up on Carol alone (because he's only ever needed to be himself).
Ezekiel thinks she needs looking after like she's unstable or something
Daryl knows she can look after herself because she is stronger than them all ("watch out for yourself, alright?")
Again, Ezekiel tries to offer Carol upper-crust food, like a banquet feast or something.
Carol and Daryl can share a pot of soup and what they have is richer.
Daryl and Carol have a candelight dinner, technically and she is sitting in the position a wife would sit at.
Sends Ezekiel away with a smug look.
Sends Daryl on his way with affection and repressed longing.
This is why I am Carol and Daryl all the way! They have everything!

Melissa McBride…what a gem. No other actor has ever moved me or mesmerized me like this. Watching her journey…hoping for happiness for Carol…watching her grow…cry…smile…make hard and controversial choices and deal with the outcome….was/is *chefs kiss*
I will never NOT be a fan of this incredible woman/character.

Hey, guys! Phew. So how is everyone doing? Today makes it officially one week since AMC pulled the biggest switcheroo, arguably, in TWD history. Nothing in my life has really returned to normal since that day. And I imagine all of us are experiencing varying levels of success and mood swings.
But. We are making a difference. The pushback, and attempt to silence our concerns and upset is proof that it is working. I got one adversary on Twitter who treats the #DarylNeedsCarol like it is its own movement. And that makes me proud. I would much rather go back to making my usual introspective posts about all the Caryl goodness I can take for a day, but AMC interrupted that indefinitely. Because not only are they trying to make Daryl and Carol's inexplicable relationship disappear, it seems they want me as a viewer to disappear because they want to put their money into another viewership batch and I am a hindrance to that. I have to tell you, they do not get to do that to me. Not after all the time I have put into this show. That is quite simply, unfair and outside their jurisdiction as a distribution network. "Untenable" if you will.
I have had a chance to talk it over with another member of the collective and so wanted to ask if there is any interest in having a podcast for the We Ain't Ashes Collective? Is there any interest in participating in one? I just want to see if this has any interest before pursuing it further. Twitter is being used to neutralize our voices/perspective and we would do well to have another avenue for support.
So, Podcast? Let me know. Either comment or DM me here or @my-mt-heart and @laur-n-peace. You can also email me at [email protected] and I will get back to you.
Please also reblog so as many of us see this post as possible.
Hang tough and hang in there, friends. We are definitely getting somewhere and are no where near out of ideas.

Thank you 🙏❤🙌🙌
It’s the end of our first blitz. We tried to get Caryl Spinoff trending and in an ironic turn of events, these two things happened.
I could not be more fucking proud of the Caryl community right now. Excuse me while I go cry.
