I’m afraid not. Steam doesn’t have Android builds on their own site and Steam is not cool with keys for other sites being given out for Steam purchases, so you don’t get the Itch version from buying on Steam.

Hello! Sorry to bother you but, I had a question, if we buy the Game on itchio do we get steam keys or would we need to purchase it twice? 

You would have to buy it twice if you want it in both places, I’m sorry. To repeat myself a little, Steam doesn’t like the key trading thing. Itch may support giving keys for another site, but the reverse isn’t doable with Steam and Steam doesn’t even really want you to get a Steam key for buying somewhere else either. So we just don’t mess around with that.

It’s free! There’s a paid wedding DLC, but Step 4 itself is entirely unpaid.

It’s not, aha. Unfortunately, 2021 wasn’t easier than 2020 as we hoped so things are still slower than planned. It’ll come out late 2021 or early 2022.

Hi! Firstly I just want to say that I LOVE Our Life. I have played a bit of similar games but this one instantly wins for the best one! Everything about it is amazing! I just wanted to ask if Derek would ever lose feelings for MC, like if they make the deal and then MC gets with Cove would he move on? and even if you don't, after "losing contact" would his feeling fade or would he still like MC? 

If you don’t really keep in touch with him and clearly move on with your life, Derek will too and he’ll be over it. But if you are still close as best as you can be, he’ll still think the MC is special. Though, he’ll always support your relationship with someone else if that’s what’ll make you happy.

Hello! Sorry if you've answered this before but: 'How's Lee related to us? Though which momma? And does she share our player-chosen last names? Also, do you know if Noelani took Pam's last name or did it happen the other way round? 

She’s related to Pamela and Pamela’s last name is the one they use, so the MC has the same last name as Lee.

Will we be able to choose which (they or he) we tend to call Qiu by more often, or will it randomly change depending on the moment? 

Qiu knows which pronoun they’re comfortable with at a time and you’ll call them what they’re happy with. And it doesn’t change between lines, it takes multiple scenes or even full Steps for it to switch. So for extended periods Qiu will be totally a guy or fully agender.

Will Step 4 of OL2 have moments?

It’ll be an epilogue like it is in OL1, so it won’t have a bunch of different Moments.

It isn’t based on one specific town you can go to, but there are a lot of little coastal towns in Cali that have a similar vibe!

You wouldn’t get the DLCs for backing there. The Patreon is for extra bonus content/early access, rather than being a storefront to purchase the normal DLCs. Rarely we give them out as a side gift, but it hardly happens and if what you want is the DLCs it’s best to ignore the Patreon and  buy keys for those directly from Itch or Steam. I’m sorry for the confusion.

Yeah, you can choose to live with Cove and that can be done when you’re friends.

I just played the game with the MC and Cove being best friends and omg it’s still so damn cute like the wholesomeness of it all is too much for my heart I swear ^.^  Now with that all said I was wondering can we still marry Cove? if we only love him as a friend like let’s say we’ve made deal with him similar to the one we can make with Derek because let’s real no one could compete with what the MC and Cove have even if they aren’t in love. 

It’s great to hear you enjoyed the friendship story! You can live with Cove, but you can’t marry him platonically. Cove has familial affection for the MC if they’re best-est friends. He wouldn’t think to marry someone he loves like family and even grew up with as though they truly were siblings.

Maybe you missed telling Cove you were in love with him even if you mentioned wanting to get married or you might’ve accidentally said earlier in the game that you don’t want to progress your relationship further with Cove. We haven’t removed them, so you can get the scene again. It’s just kind of easy to miss since there’s multiple requirements. You can read a little guide in the FAQ.

Technically, yes. We treat the non-romantic relationship options as truly non-romantic since we don’t want to bait and switch people. But there’s nothing wrong with headcanoning that Cove does have feelings developing for the MC even before the MC has.

Is there a way to make/allow Lee and Baxter to date?

No, they just don’t have enough time together.

We also got a group of asks related to Tamarack in OL2, but I’m afraid the way they talked about people with larger bodies made me not want to post their words, even if the person didn’t say they’re trying to be hurtful. I will separate out the core question and answer it though, so people can know that info.

Does Tamarack lose weight in later Steps?

No, she doesn’t. As for the other questions included, to be honest, I don’t have to explain/defend having romance options of different sizes. I’m sorry if you’re dealing with unhappiness that’s connected to body image, if that’s where the negative emotions are coming from, but even so I can’t meet you on that level and pretend it’s a problem that needs an answer. A girl who simply isn’t thin being a main love interest is just not an unreasonable concept. Also, Tamarack isn’t a lesbian. Yes, she can date a female MC, but that doesn’t undo her actual sexuality, so I’m not sure where that one part at the end was coming from.

Not really, haha. No matter how cool your MC is, they’re never gonna replace Qiu for the other kids around. So you can either partner up with him, follow him too, or not be a part of all that group politics stuff.

It’d depend on his age, personality, and your relationship with him! When he’s younger he’d probably be embarrassed, when he was grown he’d probably be more casual or happy about it.

Yeah, you can be crushing on Cove and date Baxter if you weren’t already dating Cove. You just can’t be truly in love with Cove and then switch to Baxter.

The focus will be on the wedding day itself. The topic of the honeymoon might come up a bit, but there won’t be any choosing of the exact location and such.

First, is there a set year in which OL:B&A takes place (ex: Step 1 being set in 2010 & Step 2 being set in 2016, etc.) or is it simply up to interpretation? Second, have you guys thought about doing a coming-of-age game where the MC has a tough home life or upbringing? (like one of their parents is an addict, a parent being transphobic whilst the player has the option to be trans, or having friends that are influencing them to do drugs, etc.) That's all! There is a set timeline!

Step 1: 2006 Step 2: 2011 Step 3: 2016 Step 4: 2021 

And we don’t currently plan on making a game like that. The Our Life series exists to be a safer environment for people to play around in and if we did do a brand new series that was harsher edged it’d be something more fantastical and/or plot-driven instead of a different type of modern day slice-of-life growing up story. I’m sorry.

i don’t know if you’ve already answered this, but do you have a guess on when phase 4 will come out? as well as ol2? i’m so excited for both of them, the inclusivity in this game is amazing, you guys should be really proud of it! 

Step 4 will be coming out very soon! OL2 is gonna take until 2023 to be anywhere near completion. But we might episodically release the Steps one at a time as they get done instead of waiting for three to be finished before launch like we did with the first game.

That’s nice of you to offer. He doesn’t have a Twitter, at least not one that’s public enough to be shared with me. And I’m afraid not. The issue is that the CGs take huge amounts of time rather than there not being a budget for it. He’s gotta make CGs for Step 4, the DLCs, and new character sprites, too. There isn’t space in the schedule for even more. Sorry for that.

If you wanted context: Death Note is about this one guy who finds a notebook that kills anyone who you write the name of in there. The guy eventually develops a God Complex and starts mass killing criminals and stuff. L is the one trying to find out who is killing all these people.

Me and my sister first joked about it because I couldn't remember how to translate a word about the way Cove was sitting, so I just did the pose, and it looked a lot like how L himself sits! Then we just snowballed from there, with more and more nonsense connections.

29. What are your views about the racism, sexism and homophobia on supernatural?

Oo you gotta come in with the contentious question, huh, anon? 😂 Tbh this feels like a three-part question, because they're all separate issues. But in general, I take the show for what it is. I don't go in expecting it to be super woke (especially in early seasons--the culture has changed a lot since 2005, thank goodness). So I sort of turn off part of my brain to enjoy the show. There are aspects I get vaguely annoyed at, but when it comes to seeing the show as regressive or progressive, liberal or conservative, I actually don't think it fits neatly into either category. That said:

--racism: I think the show fails most on this front. There have been some great recurring characters of color (have I mentioned how much I love Rufus? And Kevin?) but they are astonishingly few and far between for 15 seasons. I don't get mad that the core characters (Sam, Dean, Crowley, Cass) are all white dudes considering it was accidental on the part of Crowley and Cass, who were supposed to be short-lived (though there's also something to be said about fandom attachment to white male characters they can slash and woobify. Excellent article: https://stitchmediamix.com/2020/03/28/migratory-slash-fandoms-focus/ ) But there were many missed opportunities to introduce/bring back characters of color. I wish they'd done more with Cassie, but I also sort of worry they would have messed up pretty badly. Also, considering all the various and sundry villains of the show, I'm not upset about getting complex, layered ones like Gordon (one of my fave antagonists) and Billie, but considering the overall shortage of characters of color, it does throw the balance off. The optics are not good. All in all, I don't think the show is overtly racist, but then, many things that are not overtly racist can still contribute to white supremacist culture. It could easily have done better in this regard.

--sexism: The way I feel about Sam, Dean, Crowley, and Cass all being guys is is similar to how I feel about them all being white. I like Jack, but there's a perfect example of a missed opportunity to add a core character who wasn't a white dude. That said, there are a good number of really great, dynamic recurring female characters. From my understanding, part of the reason some early ones (Bela, Jo) didn't stick around was actually because fandom hated them? Which is dumb. Idk. Anyway, I think the 'female characters always die' argument is sort of moot because everyone dies on supernatural. Jody and Donna are rare exceptions to that rule. Honestly one of the things that interests me about supernatural is how it comments on/plays with/challenges notions of masculinity, so if I wanted a show about women I would just go elsewhere. So, ditto to what I said above: I don't think the show is overtly sexist, but many things that are not overtly sexist can still contribute to patriarchal culture and misogyny (by not interrogating the dominant culture). I just think that overall, the show /mostly/ avoids truly harmful narratives and matches up with what I expect of media from its era. Could always do better, but it's not the worst.

--homophobia: Tbh, I feel like the show is surprisingly non-homophobic. There are canon gay characters with very sympathetic treatment and multidimensional characterization. I don't think it's homophobic in and of itself to have two straight male leads. Particularly post-classic spn made obvious efforts at inclusion, but even classic spn wasn't terrible in this regard--perhaps mostly through its silence on the issue, which isn't great, but it also means the show ages better than a lot of shows from that era that went for cheap homophobic jokes (and boy, are there so so many of them). Some people argue Dean is homophobic but I honestly don't buy it. The only thing I can think of is him calling Sam gay as a teasing insult, but that just honestly doesn't bother me. It was before 2010, he's a macho dude teasing his little brother. I don't think it really reflects whatever he actually thought about gay people. I think Dean is actually a great barometer of shifting societal attitudes in this way. At that time, gay as an insult like that was still pretty common, but in the following decade it became apparent to most people why that's not cool, and I think Dean grew with that too. There's no way later-season Dean would use that insult. Anyway I could go on about Dean and the homophobia arguments but I won't lol. Overall, I think the show does better with lesbian and gay (sadly no bi or trans) rep than with the other issues above, because it manages not to perpetuate harmful stereotypes.

Wow, I know this got long, but hey, they're complex issues that deserve thoughtful answers! I'm always a fan of digging into media to look at the implications and how it reflects the culture of the time, and if you dig into spn, there's plenty that's "problematic," and it's worth discussing. But I don't usually find cause to outright criticize the show on these fronts, and partially that's a matter of managing my expectations.

Ezra: Month 1 of Animal Crossing New Horizons!

Hello all! I’m here to tell my journey of the first month of New Horizons on Cillia Island!

There’ll be lots of pictures! I hope you enjoy! Future updates will probably be daily because this is... long at first... but I promise it slows down!

This post covers 32 days (skipping a few). It is indented to be a fun, long, read! I’ll say it’s a 10-15 minute read just to be on the longer side!

Thursday, March 19th, 4pm -7GMT. The virus is present, but just starting. I have been home for not even 24 hours of my job that was supposed to keep me out of town all March. I make a phone call to a local Gamestop, asking if they’re still open, and how the midnight release of Animal Crossing is going to work. The worker tells me I can go pick it up right then, because they’re going to be closing early and had JUST gotten a phone call from corporate that they could give it out early - you can assume what I did /immediately/ after lol.

Starting was incredibly easy! I’ve had my dead name as my New Leaf Mayor forever, and I loved that city name so Ezra and Cillia it was! And we began! My starting villagers were Cherry and Roald with Cherry Trees (fitting!), and I said I wasn’t gonna restart no matter what... so here we go!

I picked a town that had a West Beach River Mouth as well as a South River Mouth - which matched my town in New Leaf! (The south exit, and the flow of the river - but the west exit would be where my original upper waterfall was so the shape was the same). Picked northern hemisphere (where I am). And placed my house right in a river bend (with the initial plan to section me off into my own island within an island!). Cherry and Roald’s homes were placed along the west-running river right at the top, with not much effort or forethought. Not that it was a bad thing! I knew they wouldn’t be permanent villagers, but wanted to give them some beautiful scenery while they were here.

I can definitely tell that I’m still acting and thinking like a mayor even thought I’m only an island rep. ... this doesn’t change bwahaha!

Day 1 March 19th, was all setup and prep for our REAL day 1! Blathers already was about to have a decent encyclopedia, and I was getting nook miles left and right - already expecting a house instead of a tent the next day. I wasn’t too surprised, I’ve done this song and dance before, and I’m just here to have a great time in my island paradise! Getting Blathers was definitely my highest priority!

Day 2 March 20th, was... difficult... giving 15 things to Blathers one at a time and finding 30 iron for the Nooklings was excruciating lol - but getting fossils and a pole vault to absolutely DECIMATE the weed ecosystem filled me with a glee that I’m sure you can understand. I managed to upgrade my house, get Blathers and Nooks Cranny all in one day *whew*. Now, time to have some fun!

I build my first QR code which was a cool outfit I called PRIDE Coat! It is a black coat with drawstrings and pockets on the front - a lil’ trans flag on the left arm, a bi flag on the right arm, and my (pretty decent!) attempt at a rainbow of paint (in the gay flag colors) falling down my back! And I made an Iwatobi Swim Club Beanie to match the one I wear every day!!

I then played with my Passport a bit to have my title be “Future Fish” which is Free! Eternal Summer (the second season’s) Ending Song!!!! Which I thought was SUPER cute and VERY me. (It’s my second fave anime. I plan on making a Reigisa outfit in the future!!).

Already by the end of Day 2 I had my hair customization options, the tool wheel, and the DIY that I needed to buy. Everything Nook was offering I managed to get my grubby little day 2 hands on! So you KNOW my hair went to pink pigtails IMMEDIATELY. And took /many/ photos. But since my outfits are all the same just imagine the ones you just saw but with pink instead of blonde!

With that it was time to get my 3 villagers that would accompany Cherry and Roald (This correlates to getting the iron for Nooklings!) I wanted to grab the first 3 villagers that I saw just to try some new friends this go around - as I had already planned on making my New Leaf family my permies! So my first three were Ketchup (nice!), Hornsby (Aww!!), and... GALA!?!?

Well how convenient! That was one permie immediately out of the way!! Welcome back, Gala!!! So excited to have you on the island!

Then I caught an Oarfish and saw *GASP* WISP!!!! To which, I immediately ran up to him and demanded he bring my girlfriend, Cece the Squirrel, to the island. He, instead, got spooked, had me collect his spirit, and offered me items. *sigh* Ok - can’t get Cece that way - so I decided to sleep!

How naive I was...

Day 3 March 21st, was both good and bad! I had access to Nooklings, but that was about it. Blathers was getting a crowded amount of critters outside his roped off building, but it would be all worth it, tomorrow. But!! I found my first spider island! Which I sold off to Nooklings and happily went to sleep!

Day 4 March 22nd, had SO MUCH to offer! Blathers, Daisy Mae, Harvy, WHEW. Pretty sure I had a visit from Gulliver either today or yesterday, too! Nothing could POSSIBLY ruin this day!!

Oh how wrong.

How so terribly wrong I was.

Animal Crossing New Horizons is an incredible game that lets you invite so many villagers to your island!

All of them. But 14.  

14 Villagers from New Leaf are not available. The Sanrio Characters. And the Amiibo Characters.

No Felyne. No Ganon, Epona, Medli, or W. Link. No Viche or Inkwell. No Rilla, Chai, Morty, or Etoille.

No Toby.

No Chelsea.

...

No Cece.

...

To say that I was devastated would be an understatement. I was absolutely crushed. Not only were 3 of my permies out, but the one villager I couldn’t live without, wasn’t allowed in the game. She didn’t even get a poster.

So I did what any crushed lover would do, and made a memoir to her.

And it started raining. Poetic. (I was only cheered up slightly when I got to catch a Coelacanth!) I didn’t do this until much later (April 4th) but for the sake of not talking about her too much, I would open New Leaf and wrote her a goodbye love letter, which, honestly, makes me tear up whenever I read it.

And I went to sleep.

I have nothing for Day 5 other than scanning all my amiibo cards for the POSTERS which are UNDOUBTEDLY my FAVORITE new feature in the game!!

Day 6, March 24th, GALA MOVED IN! I was so excited, and it was definitely needed. My best friend also came over and we goofed off and we met each other’s villagers! Then I went to an island tour and got A PANSY HYBRID ISLAND!!!! OOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I went crazy. Absolutely destroyed that ecosystem. I went full feral. MINE. ALL MINE!!!

And I caught my first Sturgeon!! Which was awesome because I only had the rare fish left in my March collection! Trying to get a Golden Trout, I made many many fish bait, and got the 200 clam achievement! Which was exciting because that unlocked “Mermaid” for titles!! I doubt I’ll change from Future Fish, but Mermaid would be a second pick!

For Day 7 I went to a good friend’s village and desperately tried to make Chiyuki Fujito’s blue dress from Runway de Waratte... it didn’t work... but I like the attempt! (Will send pics in messenger if you’re curious!).

Day 8, March 26th, was the day ISABELLE WAS HERE!!! Welcome to your island paradise, QUEEN. I definitely dressed for the part ;)

This, of course, opened up tunes and flag options! Flag was incredibly easy. It’s going to stay my picture of Cece until she’s added back into the game (which will probably be never, so...)

The tunes was much harder for me. But since I couldn’t think of anything else I made it “SO. NO. CHI. NO. SA. DA. ME.” from the first Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Opening (which is, ironically, what is playing as I type this... SO NO CHI NO SA DA ME <- was written in time with the music playing. Incredible.) It’s definitely not going to be that forever, but for now it makes me giggle!

Nothing for Day 9 except for a SICK tarantula island :) love those furry babes! I also built my campsite! Tomorrow was going to be big!! Who on Earth was going to move in!?

Day 10, March 28th, now, I have what I like to call “chaotic luck”. I’ll catch the bus, but my gosh did I almost miss it. I was absolutely positive I failed that test, and I did, but the question I messed up doesn’t count and I passed! Cece isn’t in the game but do you know who’s at my campsite??

Day 12, March 30th, I saw kicks for the first time!!! Love that funky newsie skunk!

Day 13, March 31st, I saw Flick for the first time!!! Went on a mad tarantula hunt and made BANK. Fun story, I thought both Flick and C.J. were girls, so when I learned Flick was a boy I was really upset because I thought a canon gay ship was now straight, but WHOOPS they’re BOTH boys! 😎 Nice.

I also saw Celeste for the first time!!! Gosh how I missed her!! I actually sat and got all 200 stars in one night, just because of how much I like wishing on falling stars!!!

Day 14, April 1st, The Nightmare Begins. Love him or Hate him, Zipper was here. I won’t go on about the eggs. Everyone talks about the eggs. They sucked, fishing was a nightmare, not a big fan. I would end up not getting all the sakura DIYs which was very upsetting (but I’ll just get them next year). In INCREDIBLE news I got a golden trout!!! Which was the last thing I needed in my March encyclopedia - and it was on to April hunting! Every night thing I could get, I did! So I decided to set up my last 4 houses, and focus on getting K.K. Slider finally to my island!

The first house sold naturally to Pecan! NICE! I love squirrels so much! She was very welcome!

Day 15, April 2nd, in the interest in getting new villagers, I went on a tour and there she was: MERENGUE! She’s, truthfully, not a favorite of mine. She’s SO cute, but not someone I wanted permanently. However, she’s my other best friend’s FAVORITE and she doesn’t have a switch. So, there was NO WAY I wasn’t taking Merengue onto my island. I haven’t sent my friend pics, yet, but I hope I can soon!! She’s gonna be so happy!

Today was the first day I met C.J. which... stunning. Absolutely jaw dropping. I’m SMITTEN with a TAKEN BEAVER. He calls me fashionista. Asks about my anglersona. Takes selfies of/with me. He’s truly the ideal. I’d invite him back any day!

Over the next 3 days, Freya and Bruce move in as my last 2 villagers giving us a grand starting total of: Cherry, Roald, Ketchup, Hornsby, Gala, Raymond, Pecan, Merengue, Freya, and Bruce! Not bad not bad!

Day 19, April 6th, THE BEST GIRL IS HEEERE. LABEL CAME TO MY TOWN FOR THE FIRST TIME. I might have cried, honestly. I cannot believe someone that incredible would want to come to my island. She asked for me to give her an official look. Are you kidding me? Easy breezy. For my perfect outfit she rewarded me a Label Hat. Oh? DESIGNER? I was awestruck. The design was IMPECCABLE. The flavor was IMMACULATE.

One of my villagers also happened to gift me a Pink SPRITE COSTUME??? I, honestly, have never been more in love with an outfit in my entire life??? A pink Peter Pan outfit??? LEGENDARY.

Day 20, April 7th, I don’t quite remember what day K.K. Slider visited the island when I hit my 3 star rating - so we’ll say it was today lol. That meant ISLAND EDITING, but I didn’t know what to do, yet, so I didn’t worry too much about it!

Label’s hat came in MORE COLORS in the store today. YOU BET I bought all of them. The talent. But this meant that I had a pink hat to match my pink sprite costume and you bet I was LIVING my best life. I had also finished the Anklyosaurus which is my FAVORITE dinosaur so I was LIVING it up.

Later, Ketchup would approach me and ask to move. I was happy for her to explore new lands and bid her farewell, and gave her a sweet goodbye. With that, it was hunting time, and I found the perfect villager that would set everything in motion.

Day 22, April 9th, Label VISITS AGAIN!!!!!! Unfortunately, she asked for a sporty look, which I couldn’t pull off perfectly :/ So no new item from her... but my OUTFIT WAS FIRE AND WE WERE MAD CUTE TOGETHER.

Day 23, April 10th, the villager has moved in, the cryptid gyroid herself, COCO!!!

And her moving in gave me a BRILLIANT idea. I’d like to keep it under wraps for now, but I’m so, so, SO happy she’s here!

Day 24, April 11th, The Fishing Tourney. The Summer tourney will be significantly easier for me, now that I know you can double your points by fishing with someone else, but it took me HOURS to collect all the clams and get to 300 points. It wasn’t really worth it, but I love fish so much so I wasn’t going to miss a SINGLE thing. I got that gold trophy and I’m SO proud of myself.

Day 25, April 12th, With a golden trophy in hand and the last day of eggies, I was feeling really confident. I had the means and the idea to change cliffs + water for a couple days and just... made what my brain came up with! I’ll keep this vague for now, because I’m really excited about the final results! Just know that everyday I edit a little bit more and come up with more ideas!

Day 26, April 13th, Happy Homestuck, Neil Bangs out the Tunes, and Thomas Sanders goes to the Wedding Day!! And it did NOT disappoint. Label for A 3RD TIME!!! She must like me as much as I like her >w<!! Today she gave out her cap!!! It’s, honestly, not my thing, I’d rather stick with the brim hats, but I do think they’re cute!! So I would buy them all the next day! The Able Sister’s haul on Day 27 was oh my gosh amazing!!! They had the cap, of course, but they also had THE OTHER SPRITE COSTUMES!! Which I bought all of them. And now I wear, near exclusively, this outfit in 5 different colors bwahaha!

Day 30, April 17th, I got my first golden item!!! The slingshot! Nice! Over the past few days, I’ve just been designing, moving houses, and building ramps! Learning new myth debunks, stuff like that!

I was also blessed with 3 encounters :OOOO I didn’t know this was even POSSIBLE!?

Day 31, April 18th, Disaster Strikes. I’ve been moving so many homes that I didn’t consider that a villager couldn’t move in because you were already doing a home thing for the day. So when I went to invite camper Gonzo to my town he declined!? I was devastated. He was SO cute and I thought he could move into Bruce’s house to keep the peace of personalities! I think he’s someone in the future who I’ll ask for a poster of or ask for an amiibo card of! I know I’m going to check the campsite first before moving any buildings from here on out! D’:

And that brings us to today,

Day 32, April 19th, one month from the day I started. I’ve been having the TIME of my life! There’s definitely been some ups and downs, but I have a goal in mind and it’s keeping me so focused! I organized an entire flower field today!! Due to a turnip mishap, I happen to be 2 days ahead of everyone, but I have been good about time traveling other than that. This means that I am fortunate enough to get my Nooklings upgrade 2 days early and they’ll be open tomorrow!!! I’m... I’m so excited!!! I NEED more flower seeds!!!!!!!

The future looks incredibly bright on Cillia island, and I cannot wait to hear about everyone else’s month!!

- i want trace to show up in heartland (the show) world, as well as Sloan. Honestly, Jade needs some friends and having LBGT rep on the actual show would be great.

- i like how we see the everyday lives of the characters - er character? just jade? - we’ve seen and we get to know them more indepth about their goals even more so than we do the flemings/main characters from the show since it was just about jade/sloan and all that.

- could you imagine if they focused on only two storylines each episode, maybe one arc per character throughout the entire season whereby the arcs sometimes intersect and the build up to the final ‘result’is slow? IMAGINE, georgie’s illness, slowly happening and then the the climax is the middle and by the end she’s recovered (like how they did it but... more drawn out so we see more detail)

- i believe this also shows what we’re missing with regards to throwing side characters away and IF WE must must treat side characters as plot points i’d love this type of story showing:

I’ll never forget discovering Taylor. For me, it was 2007. I heard Teardrops On My Guitar on the radio and it honestly just spoke to me like no other song ever had. I had no idea what the song was called, but I was on the hunt to find out! It was 2007 okay I couldn’t just ask Siri to tell me what song it was or google the lyrics on my phone. I mean I could’ve googled them at home on my dial up Internet but I was kind of an idiot alright I was 12. Anyway, at school the next week I was telling my friend about the song and she KNEW THE NAME. I was over the moon. After that it was all over for me. I spent hours on the Internet rewatching the few music videos Taylor had out at the time. I watched every interview she had done. I learned her story and she became my friend. I begged for her album for Christmas that year and I got it! That was the first of many Taylor Swift themed Christmas presents I’ve received over the years. That entire day I stayed in my room with the album on repeat. I followed along in the lyric booklet so I could sing along. I remember when I discovered that random letters were capitalized and I started decoding. I felt like I had a secret with her. She sang the words my heart was feeling but my brain never knew how to say. I’d never listened to country music in my life, but something in me changed that day.

I’d always loved music. I wanted to be a singer more than anything in the world. When I found Taylor, she made me believe in myself. It was the first time I had hope that it could really happen for me. I started emailing record labels, inspired by Taylor’s story of course, though my parents didn’t take me to Nashville to do so. I emailed Scott Borchetta (his email was right on the Big Machine website lol). He declined my request for a record deal, probably on account of me being a 12 year old with no demo or really anything to convince him that I should have a record deal. Oh well! Life went on.

A couple of Christmas’s later, I got my first guitar. My dad is a musician and got us kid-sized guitars when we were really young. But I never had the desire to play. Once I discovered Taylor, I was not only inspired, I NEEDED to learn to play. I started playing and writing all the time. It changed my life.

I remember the day Fearless came out. I got a call early in the morning that woke me up. It was my dad. He told me to come outside (my parents are divorced). Confused, I went outside and he was standing there with a Target bag containing Taylor’s new album. He went as soon as they opened and got it for me. I’ll never forget that moment. I went back inside, got in bed, and listened to the entire thing on my portable CD player. I decoded all the secret messages, again, which always made me feel so close to Taylor. The Fearless era started my days of rushing home to catch Taylor on Ellen or Oprah or TRL. So it began that anytime anyone in the house saw anything about Taylor, my name was called.

I was extra excited when Speak Now came out. Why? Because I finally had my license and could drive myself to Target to buy the album all by myself! I felt so grown up. After school, I rushed to Target. I came home, laid on the floor, and listened to it for the first time, decoding the messages. Speak Now came for me at a really important time. I fell in love for the first time and there are some really great love songs on that album. I had a wonderful night at my first Homecoming Dance and Enchanted described it perfectly. I also had some downfalls, which Dear John and Last Kiss helped me understand.

By the time Red came out, I was a freshman in college living in a brand new city. I was in a whole other world. I took the school shuttle to Target and bought the album, sitting in silence and feeling alone on the ride back. Normally when I got an album, I was boasting and jumping for joy. But being a freshman in college in a new city, I felt pretty isolated a lot of times. I got back to my dorm room, put the CD in my laptop, plugged in my headphones, and listened. A few months prior I’d gone through my first breakup, which I was nowhere near healed from. Red gave me all of the songs I needed to understand my feelings and to process my emotions. Yet again, Taylor was there for me when it felt like no one was. She always knows what I need to hear and when I need to hear it.

Ah, 1989. I was 20 years old, living in my very first apartment. I was SO happy and carefree. 1989 was an album full of anthems perfect for driving in my car with the windows down. I did that MANY times. It felt like 1989 gave me permission to be myself and to just live my best life, honestly. It was also the era that I discovered the Taylor Swift portion of this website. I made my tumblr when I was 15, so I could fangirl over All Time Low (lol). Then I started discovering there was more to Tumblr, like quotes and images I could relate to. That’s what Tumblr became for me for many years. I actually spent a good amount of time away from the website because, stupid as it sounds, it felt like something my ex-boyfriend and I used to do all the time and it honestly just hurt to be on the website for a while. But I found you guys in the 1989 era. It was the first time I felt like people understood this part of me. Sure, I had friends who liked Taylor. But I’ve considered Taylor to be my best friend since I was 12 years old. My friends weren’t decoding albums or staying up late watching the same music videos over and over again. I finally felt understood and accepted. Like I found my people!! I felt closer to Taylor than ever before as she started the Secret Sessions and Swiftmas. Watching you guys get to have these special moments with Taylor has made me feel so close to both you guys and her.

1989 was also the first time that I got to see Taylor live. Growing up, I remember my mom trying to get me tickets, but they were selling out in minutes. It was impossible! But when 1989 came around, I had my own car, my own job, and therefore my own money. I could do whatever I wanted!!! I bought my tickets the second they want on sale and booked a hotel. I’d never been so excited for a concert before! When Taylor came onstage, I immediately started crying. I couldn’t get my shit together until four songs in. I just couldn’t believe it. There she was! My best friend! Taylor! She was right there! I felt closer to her than ever before (I mean, I was physically closer to her than ever before, but you know what I mean). That was absolutely one of the best nights of my life.

When reputation was announced, I literally fell to the floor. This was an important one for me because it was the first time my boyfriend Josh got to see me through an album release. Spoiler alert: I didn’t scare him away! I spent so much time on Tumblr hanging out with you guys getting ready for the new era. Listening to songs together for the first time, watching music videos together for the first time. It was so special to me. When LWYMMD came out, Josh ordered pizza for us and hung out with me while I hung out with you guys online. It meant so much to me that he would do that with me. I got to go to both Florida dates on the rep tour, which meant the world to me.

So I guess that’s my Taylor story! I wouldn’t be the person I am today if it wasn’t for Taylor. She’s made me stronger, kinder, and really just a better person overall. If it wasn’t for her, I wouldn’t have picked up a guitar. Who knows if I would’ve even taken music so seriously? Taylor was the voice I needed to make me believe in myself. She’s gotten me through countless heartaches and a lot of good times too. I’ve made friends because of her, I’ve traveled because of her. There’s just so much in my life that is a direct result of Taylor. I feel so lucky to have such an amazing woman to look up to. Here’s to another 13 years, Miss Swift. I can’t wait to see what the Lover era brings!

About Mass Effect: Andromeda

Sooo... origin is on sale till 17th of Jan, and I took this chance to buy Mass Effect Andromeda for half the price. To be honest, even though I’m a fan of Mass Effect series, I don’t have the motivation to buy/play Andromeda because of various reasons, and one of them is because of the get lots of bad critics. i have updated this post Since I’ve finished the game. Minor spoilers but not spoilery enough to make you feel cheated if you have never played the game but planning to.

1. I heard about the bad animation,

Really it’s not bad, maybe I’m saying this because I’ve been playing this game after it’s been patched to the last patch. But seriously I think bioware did a good job in this one, I claim to be an animator in real life (yes, that’s what I do for a living, but not gaming industry). I have noticed subtle facial animations in this game that I don’t see often in bioware’s other game. So it’s an improvement compared to the previous game.

Most of the time you’ll focus more on the dialogue actually, and the VOs all done a good job to immerse you to the story.

2. This game is stunningly beautiful

I’m a space explorer! This is the first time in mass effect games that I feel more inclined to explore planet than pursuing the main quests. I often stop and enjoy the view of the planet. But the hazard’s though... (;-_-)  I almost died trying to solve a puzzle monolith in Voeld because it’s freezing cold. In my playtrough Kadara become the first planet to reach 100% viability because it’s hazard is only the acidic water. (^ ^).

The planet exploration is much improved compared to other mass effect games, I’m surprised that I can actually climb over a mountain to the other side with the Nomad, Bioware really tried not to limit your exploration boundaries, you can even charge to a kett camp with the Nomad and jump out to the battle straight away without  fuss. In a way the Nomad is really a convenience.

3. New combat customization (UPDATED)

When I heard I can be a space ninja, I’m sold. Really, that’s what I’ve been doing in this game lately. I equip my character with an asari sword and a shotgun, Biotic charge? check! Tactical cloak? check! There you go a biotic space ninja that can leap through space and murder with a sword then disappear.

Andromeda did a huge improvement in it’s mass effect combat style by allowing you to invest in multiple skills without having to commit to just one tree. I actually enjoy experimenting on new builds.

Something worth noticing on my second play trough:

I noticed in the prologue when you’re fighting the kett together with Alec, he did something sneaky like changing profiles in the middle of the battle, which I missed in the first play trough because I don’t really understand the battle system yet at that time. So when Alec casts biotic powers to the enemies, I was like ‘Whoa... Alec is a biotic???’ then he kinda talk to SAM in the middle of the battle to change to other profiles, then I finally realize what it means.

4. The Story (UPDATED)

So... I’ve finished the game, and I  am not satisfied. I was too distracted by the side quests that by the time I go for the priority quest it felt very short. It left too many questions unanswered, I guess they left it open for future DLCs (which is not gonna happen) or novels or comics, or maybe Mass effect 4. I’m most impressed by the “Ryder’s family secret it’s like revelation of Alec’s motivation into journeying to Andromeda, though it’s also open ended but it left me with a good impression.

But nevertheless, I think Andromeda Is rich in story and wonders, and have huge potential in the future, I have this constant feeling of wanting to explore and finding out more. I started thinking that maybe this is the whole point of the game to make you feel like an explorer.

The companion quests, are really worth doing. I definitely recommend you not to skip the loyalty quests. My favourite will be Peebee and Liam’s loyalty quest, because it’s hilarious.

5. To play or not to play

I agree this game gets bad reps more than it deserve. And why is that? Well for starters this game is buggy when it was released, I’d say it’s the launch that’s messed it up.

But I think you should play it, there’s so much to explore in Andromeda and i think it’s a plus point of this game.

Those plush shikibuton’s were all well and good, but it wastime for the two of you to move up in the world.    

Since Saitama’s home was too small, you decided (pretty muchon your own) that you would invest in a proper bed. You wanted at least, aqueen size mattress that the two of you could sleep in when you were at yourplace.

It was around Midday when you made your way to the huge mattressoutlet in H city. Big signs were plastered all over the storefront screaming “SALE”and “LOW PRICES GAUREENTEED”. It put Saitama at ease since he was a huge suckerfor saving money.

As you walked up the steps you continued your conversationwith your bald boyfriend—he was trying to tell you that he once fell asleep whilefighting a 4 eyed pillow monster.

“I guess in the end, you don’t mind what you sleep on huh?”You giggled as he held open the door for you.

“I could sleep anywhere I think.” He shrugged, and followedyou into the air-conditioned megastore in his usual nonchalant manner.

To your immediate right, a tall sales representative smiledat you, and only you.

“Hello miss—“ His voice was rather oily, and it made youinwardly wince. He stepped up to you real close, his tall height putting you atedge, “Looking for anything particulartoday?”

Almost out of second nature your hand shot out to the spaceSaitama always occupied at your side. You tugged him close without even lookingat him, till you could feel his heat at your hip and his hand settled against yourback.

Now that he was properly into frame so to speak—you forcefullyexpanded the world view of the man talking to you.

For some reason people pointedly ignored Saitama’s existence,and it irritated you to no end.

“Yes, my boyfriend andI—“ you raised your eyebrows assertively, “Are looking for a queen sizedmattress.”

In tandem, you and Saitama stared and smiled in a picturesquemanner.

The oily man snapped his eyes between the two of you, andobviously didn’t know what to think. Saitama looked like an average joe, so youcouldn’t be after him for money to buy you expensive things.

Was it pity?

After a moment of pause where he wisely chose to not say anyof his theories, he offered a confident hand towards the back of the store, “Rightthis way, please~”

Eh, he was still giving you the creeps.  

“Care to tell me the price range you’re going for today?”

You really didn’t have too much of an idea, “I’m not surewhat beds go for these days actually. We both have used Futons since getting ourown places...”

He hummed, “I see I see! I’ll keep that in mind for what Ishow you today!”

With a shake of your head, the two of you looked to the salesassociate as he took the lead. He seemed like he wanted to either gouge you ofyour money, or hover around to make sure you didn’t damage anything.

Oblivious to it all Saitama smirked to himself, “We’relooking for the cheapest mattress you’ve got!”—and you recoiled.

“Nooo, we’relooking for a regular mattress, to INVESTin. I’ll pay whatever!” You clutched onto Saitama’s arm tightly to remind himof what you had already told him before. The mattress would have to last thetwo of you for YEARS before you got another.

You served him your biggest pout and he wilted under it as healways did.

“I was just joking, [Name]~” He scratched his cheek with hisdark eyes darting away from your own quickly.

“That’s the thing, you are not joking! I know your game Tama!” You tutted.

“…Did you two just recently get together?” The Sales Repchuckled to himself, “You two have a freshly hatched love bird vibe aheehee~”

“Um…” You looked at Saitama thoughtfully, “It’s been around 4years actually?” You weren’t the greatest with dates, and you looked to yourboyfriend’s doughy face for help.

His eyebrows tented, “It’s been that long huh?”

You nodded, “Well it was around my birthday when we gottogether. I know that much.” You gave him a knowing look and a sweet smile thatmade him tug you a little closer.

The sales rep stammered to a halt, “A-Ah—4 years? You surefooled me!”

You tried to play along for his benefit, “I guess we stilllook like a new couple?”

He laughed, but his expression was strained, “Don’t you thinkit’s time for you to get married? Or maybe move on from each other? Your manneeds to make a move before you get swept away by someone else~”

Oh goodness, he was not giving you a flirty look.

Was he implying you should break up with Saitama??

Did he mention marriage???

To Saitama’s wonderful credit, he did not freak out, and hedidn’t miss a beat.

“Ah I guess I should ask [Name] eventually. We’re basicallymarried anyways.” He said bluntly—as you blushed and sputtered.

One half of your heart was so utterly moved by Saitama’swords, and the other was flaring to the bait the Sales rep had placed at thelatter half of his sentence. Would you have to hang all over Saitama for him totake a hint??

“Tama…” Was all you could manage, as the Sales Rep finishedleading you to a corner of the store filled with discounted beds.

“Ah, I didn’t want discount!“ You began to bite off acomplaint before Saitama ooh’d at thenearest plush bed (conveniently 50% off) and fell into it.

“This one is comfy.”

You sighed in defeat, your tone softening, “I guess I’m notpicky either but..” You crossed your arms and implored to his prone body, “Wehave to find a bed that can take a beating you know?”

Monsters tended to gravitate to your man, you knew that much.If your house got wrecked you wanted to be able to salvage your bed from therubble and still use it, damnit!

The Sales Rep sat down on a neighboring mattress as youstood, STILL wanting to get out of the discounted section—The man only chuckledhaughtily as he pinned you with a knowing wink.

“Aheehee! That’s a new one dear, but I know just the thing!”

“Huh?” What was he saying? Did he have an extra durablemattress for sale? You got your hopes up for just a moment, before his nextwords bewildered you further.

“You two won’t want a spring mattresses, they make far toomuch noise! Foam will allow you get down and dirty without the neighborshearing. I’m also sure you won’t make a dent in memory foam even if you get toowild aheehee!”

…

You went dead silent. Dead still. Brain waves stalled into stagnantlines.

Saitama sat up on the mattress, like a vampire out of acoffin, a confused expression on his face.

“What?” You both squawked.

“Oh!” The man raised a hand to his mouth, scandalized, “Forgiveme if you two are, perhaps not yet sexually involved--YET! I just figured, 4years—Oh don’t worry! Silly me!” The Sales rep was trying to play some ditzycharacter as he laughed to himself at your expense.

“That’s not—we- we—“

“Waiting for marriage maybe! I get it, really! But goodnessyou two have such self-control to be sleeping side by side~”

He turned to Saitama, the first time he focused on him sinceyou both walked into the store.

“Sir, we need to find you a mattress that you can break inwith your girlfriend here! It’s the least I can do~ I can even give you a fewtips for your first time together.”

You didn’t want to sayit!

Your firsts clenched into balls of irritation. To admit thatyou and Saitama weren’t huge virgins to this man was nasty, but your pride waskilling you—You loved Saitama with all your heart, you seriously adored him, andsome people just made assumptions off the cuff cuz they were—

Extremely stupid? Or rude?

BOTH??

“Sir, I’ll haveyou know, my boyfriend and I bone a ridiculous amount!!” Your voice was louder than you expected to bein the cave like store. It echoed and reverberated, and what little sound therewas from other customers hushed to listen to your incoming tangent.

“[NAME]!!” Sputtered Saitama, shocked, with a little bit ofblush on his cheeks.

“It’s true!” You insisted, “I don’t know where YOU get offMr.—“ You finally took a gander at his name tag, “Burei! But I need to make onething clear—my boyfriend and I need this mattress for SLEEPING, not JUST OURRAMPANT SEX LIFE, so I don’t want a discounted BED, and I want it durable ANDstain resistant! PLEASE AND THANK YOU!!”

…Next thing you knew, you and Saitama were sitting outside afew streets over. Your butt’s squat on the curb as you hid your face in yourknees.

“I’M usually the one who gets kicked out of stores [Name]!”Saitama, with a very amused smile on his face cracked open a perspiring soda hegot from a vending machine. He set your can down in front of you as you shiedaway.

You were rather ashamed of yourself, and embarrassed. “…Hewas really pissing me off—“ Just the thought of that man’s face was making youseethe.

“I could tell.” He chuckled good naturedly.

His arm curls around your shoulders in a sweet gesture. It’swarm, familiar, and comforting.

“Why don’t we just stick to Futons? We can splurge on a bigone and get a dozen pillows. Then just keep it at your place like we wanted.”

..You tried to hide your grin at his thoughtfulness. Theblooming of love in your chest made you sway into Saitama. You kissed his cheekgratefully as you picked your head up from your slump.

“Okay…Butonly if we can break it in as soon as we get home~”

He choked on his drink.

KTrip86 Boutique&Ritza Life

So if you follow me on facebook over the last few years I was kinda all over business wise trying to find where I fit.  Well back in 2015 I had found that fit.  I was with Jewelry in Candles. Well, really I was with several companies...Paparazzi, Tastefully Simple, Norwex, Simply Aroma, Buskins, Tupperware...probably more. I don’t even know anymore.  I was pretty much joining whatever had a deal. Other than paparazzi. I paid full price for that join on...don’t ask me why, because I have no idea. That was a flop for sure. If you sell it and do well, good for you. Nothing against it, it just wasn’t for me. 

But one day I saw Jewelry in Candles had sign on for $1. Sweet! I had just heard of them and been wanting to try the products. Sign me up for a buck and get that discount! Then I thought ya know what, its a dollar, lets see if some friends will join me. And they did. Several of them. I had a nice little team. I leveled up quick! Senior rep, Team leader, Senior Team Leader(I think that was the next level) and then after just 1 year, I was a Director. I was in love. In love with the products, the company and my team. It was like a family outside of family. My team became some of my close friends. I was actually amazed too. Amazed that I was able to do so well, selling products. Hardly ever leaving my home. I did a couple vendor shows and 1 in home party, but other than that I did it all online. It was great.  

Now lets go to summer 2017. JIC is closing. Things just weren’t working out, we were graciously allowed to move into another company, Gemstra/Jewelscent, who had comparable products, without having to pay their joining fee. People were upset, I lost some team members. But I gave it my best effort. Tried to be excited about it, and get my team excited. I had a few who stuck it out for a little while with me. The products were good, prices were comparable, but it wasn’t selling for me. It was good quality, but it wasn’t the same. So I closed my account and that was that. If people are looking to buy it, there is a rep I send them too, so friends, if you are looking for their product, I can hook you up with an AWESOME rep who will help you.

Now what? Well, of all the other messes I was apart of in the past I had buskins left. I signed on a few more things. Nuskin, for the whiting toothpaste. Which I love, and have an account still if anyone needs some lol. But I don’t promote it anymore. I signed up with some dip company and didn’t do a thing with that either. And then for the first time ever I signed up with a company that I actually tried the product first before joining! Senegence! I fell in love with the lipsense products and was like well, I might as well sell it I buy it enough. So I did. And I kinda sold. I love the product, but with so many reps going out of business it is almost impossible for me to sell it anymore. I still keep my account and maybe eventually can sell it. I love the stuff, seriously AMAZING stuff. But it wasn’t giving me what I was looking for, hadn’t filled the hole I had from JIC. 

(Cue bright red long lasting lip color, and bright white teeth) 

One day, I don’t even know when it hit me, it was in the summer this year. I was like HEY lets make this legging thing work! Lula reps sell, why can’t I sell leggings and make off it, buskins are way cheaper and good. So I invested in inventory. Decided to expand from just buskins; ordered more inventory. Did a live show, and did decently well! And then I got into ordering from designers who make their own custom prints and offering them to my customers.  I decided to give myself a business name. KTrip86 Boutique. I run a group and have a lot of awesome customers! I only sell the custom prints now because people love them. ( I still have a handful of others but trying to sell them off). The online boutique is a lot of fun. So I have a boutique that is going well. Why do more? Why add another company? Something I miss is having that team, and a family of people in a company.  I hadn’t found that again. Yes I LOVE the fact that the boutique is MINE! And I can do what I want with it. It’s great. And I’m keeping the boutique. There is no question there. I will still be running that. And I plan to add some of these products into it. Whatever my customers there want, that’s what I’ll bring in! 

Ritza LIfe. Why this company? I will tell you. I have been watching it come together. Watching the CEO hard at work planning. Looking into products. Making sure they are the best quality that there is out there. When the opportunity opened, after having a phone conversation with the CEO I was confident this was going to work. I jumped on board. I believe I am rep #16 in the company. How awesome is that; to be a part of something so early on. And with the help of some amazing people I made the decision to be a founding rep. Why? Because I know this is going to be AMAZING! My team started super small, and really I only had a team at all starting because of an awesome friend and former JIC sister, Peggy. When joining I was on the fence of joining leaderless, or to sign up under someone who I know is also an amazing leader, and puts in a lot of work. So I did that, I signed up with Heather Cruz, another former JIC sister, who was an elite director. So now this is back in September, no products yet. Just watching it all happen; which is pretty cool.  Now here we are February. First round of products have been shipped. And a recruiting special drops. I have a team now of 35 awesome people.  15 of which are on my level 1.  This is amazing. And they are just as excited as I am.

I know this was a novel. But it gives a good background of my “direct sales” background and how I ended up where I am now.  And to be clear, I have nothing against any of those companies that I was with that I chose not to carry on with. They just weren’t a fit for me. They all had aspects of them I liked, or I wouldn’t have joined them. 

And for those of you who think all of these companies are “pyramid schemes” They aren’t. It’d be a scheme if the people at the bottom weren’t making money. But they are. Everyone starts at the bottom and you build up your team. This is true in any work industry! Put the time and training into your people and it pays off. The only people who aren’t making money are the ones who aren’t working their business! I am looking forward to where this company will take me, and for the new products I’ll be able to offer people. 1. Which book has been on your shelves the longest?

My oldest book is a half-English half-Irish book called Molly is a Good Dog or something like that and it’s about a little black lab puppy called Molly and it was my fave book as a child! It’s one of two childhood books I still have because I emigrated to Australia and back when I was 11 so I lost a lot of books :c

2. What is your current read, your last read and the book you’ll read next?

Current read is If We Were Villains and Cursed Child, last reads were Deathly Hallows and Gentleman’s Guide, and next reads will likely be The Hobbit and I think i’ll start on Angels in America (sobs forever about the fact that I missed it when I was in London)

3. Which book does everyone like and you hated?

Eleanor and Park is the least controversial one to mention c;

4. Which book do you keep telling yourself you’ll read, but you probably won’t?

Hmm. Maybe Hunger Games except I don’t actually want to read them... idk!

5. Which book are you saving for “retirement?”

None in particular, i’’ll probably read whatever’s new in fantasy and ya when i’m at retirement age lol

6. Last page: read it first or wait till the end?

I try not to look at the last page but if it’s a reread or i’m afraid for a character’s survival i’ll peek ahead to see if they’re mentioned

7. Acknowledgements: waste of ink and paper or interesting aside?

What is a book without acknowledgements! i’d love to be in someone’s acknowledgements and to deem it a waste of ink and paper seems a bit rude to me :c 

8. Which book character would you switch places with?

Maybe Blue Sargeant because I, too, would like to date Gansey and hunt Welsh Kings, or like Seamus in the Harry Potters to give some real Irish rep rather than that bloated stereotype Rowling calls a character.

9. Do you have a book that reminds you of something specific in your life (a person, a place, a time)?

King Lear reminds me of my Leaving Certificate English classes and how much I love English, Eragon’s are kind of height-of-15-yo-depression-and-angst, Narnia reminds me of living in Australia, so does the Tomorrow series by John Marsden, Midsummer Night’s Dream will forever be my first year of Uni read and I cherish that one the most I think. 

10. Name a book you acquired in some interesting way.

omg i accidentally stole a really nice copy of Poe’s works from my secondary school library, I just never returned it! I have books from my primary school library too i’m so sorry @ my schools. I have two books my aunt lended me too for over a year... My 2nd copies of Narnia were from a friend in Australia, my Tomorrow series were from my teacher in Australia and they were wildly inappropriate for an 11 year old to read, plus when she was saying goodbye to me she told me mom ‘i’m sorry for megan to leave, it was a pleasure to teach a smart child for once’ like,,,, what the fuck hahaha so yea cool 

11. Have you ever given away a book for a special reason to a special person?

I used to buy books for every single birthday i went to... and i’m giving the Poe compilation to a friend soon because she has a collection of Poe’s works and this one is seriously pretty and I don’t like Poe. Think that’s it really!

12. Which book has been with you to the most places?

Harry Potter maybe, it’s been to several places in Ireland, to Australia, Denmark, Hong Kong, Singapore, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France and I think London too? Also Wales if it came to London with me.

Nope I always loved reading for school. .

14. What is the strangest item you’ve ever found in a book?

I found a book of fairy tales with a really nice dedication written into it from a lover to his girl, it was in a second hand book store and I can’t remember what it said but I visited it a few times...

I like new books because I like to make my own notes!

Never read a word he’s written sorry

I'm 17 and currently looking at buying my first car with insurance sometime during next year. My dad got in a car crash like a minor few weeks ago and it was the other driver faulth and her car was really old. she got my dads licesnce and today they called from their insurance and they asked my dad to confirm his insurance number and my dad said he cant speak english. and my dad went to the lady and he left a message. and then the lady called with private number and she said it cost about 3000 my dad said he can pay her somehow she said no my car is in insurance and blah blah and my dad asked her can i have ur number since you called in private and she said no sorry and my dad said bye.. so what happens when the insurance calls and ask for it and like can the police be involved in this? plss answer thank you so much

Hey all, Im interested in buying a car and my parents are quite objectionable to it. Id say i would pay for the car and the difference in insurance but they say i dont have the money to do so. I know that my being insured on one of their cars costs a lot less than being insured on my own car but i really dont know the difference. Why is my car insurance going up if I have a good driving record?

I just moved about a block from my old rental (old lease was for 2 years) so I updated my address at my insurance. The policy went up to about 100$ a month which I don't understand because I have been told I am low risk and in the preferred age category 25+. I have a cousin about 9 years older who has multiple accidents, claims and tickets who only pays 60$. So what the heck is going on? I am comparing apples to apples on deductibles but it seems as if the insurance companies are punishing me for having a clean record with no accidents. I am just about 30 years old and only have one car a 2000 Saturn LW2 that I've owned outright for 6 years without payments. Even my younger friends who still party and drink pay lower than I do. Is it possible there is false information that the insurance companies are basing my rate on? The lowest rate I have been able to find is 70$ a month... but everything else is over 150$ per month......grr. She had medical insurance however there was a dispute related to a pre-existing condition. The dispute remains unresolved and contact with the insurance company ceased more then two years ago shortly after her death.The bills in question total more than $600,000. What are the implications related to the California statute of limitations and the estate of my deceased sister? There is no communication with the hospitals, doctors or any medical service providers who hold the debt nor with the insurance company who provided the travel insurance.
