Im bored and i want to rate villains via how sexy they are. I will only be doing TSAMS AND LAES :3 (it will be unbiased.)

i will be ranking their Sexiness to these factors:

appearance AND hygiene i will be UNBIASED. (ill try mY BEST) (tell me who i missed so i will add)

LETS BEGIN:

NEXUS: 10/10 He has the body of your average model. he has that sterotypical bimbo build dudes salvate over. Hes got big tits, a grabbable waist and an ass for days. 5

His hygiene is great. I know he has constantly having to make repairs and general maintainence on himself because of the nsp fucking his systems up- thats why he has to be careful, and be neat and clean. 5

Hes a little crazy, but thats what makes people HOT imo

LORD ECLIPSE: 10/10 muscular build. Body of a warrior. Hes tall, hes intimidating-- looms over you if that isnt hot then i dont know what is! His fashion sense is also-- quite litterally beautiful armour.... 5

his hygiene must be impeccable. his ego dosent allow him to stoop so low to smell bad im ngl. his standards for cleanliness is much more higher then sun. 5

smart mouthed, sassy, bitch. Powerful. mother fucking top energy? hot. 10/10

DARK SUN: 10/10 he has that triangular shape ahh build- a TWINK if you will. tall, dark red eyes- do i HAVE to explain?....and his FASHION?? SUITS, VESTS, TIES? it is very attractive, very clean, neat, and professional-- its giving 50s male office worker, its giving office siren... 5

i think this sun takes care of himself really GOOD. Since his moon isnt there to boss him around and pressure him- i think he sometimes even puts perfume (NOT AXE BODY SPRAY FUCK YOU) 5

honestly??? quiet, calculating, liar AND manipulative? thats something straight out of some horror romance or some shit 10/10

FELIX: 6/10 he has the beauty of a biblically accurate angel. honestly? golden skin, a halo? and modest draped clothes-- hello? hes a pretty boy honestly...but some people could see him as intimidating so i have to say 4

hygiene... hes a scientist and a very loyal dog to the creator. i think he would be a bit too busy looking after his hygiene...until the creator would call him out. i will say 2

BLOODMOON (new): -3/10 he looks very CUTE but not HOT. his big head and large smile makes him look cute. his hypno eyes are UNIQUE. His fashion sense is a mess... ugly clothes- i know he wouldnt care what he wears as long as it covers himself up- and its not even in a fashionable way. i give him a 2 (he has points for being cute ill give him that ) all this bitch cares about is blood. i feel like he would LOVE being stained in blood, and refuse to wash his clothes, brush his teeth- and scrub his body, so long as he can smell blood and engulfed in blood. I give him -5. im sorry bm simps. BLOODMOON (og): -2 HE LOOKS REALLY CUTE. however hes short....but he has good proportions unlike his newer version. great smile, however fashion? litterally just those pants. baggy shit. ugly way. i give him a 3. same thing. the shittiest hygiene. -5 ECLIPSE (OG): 10/10 TALL DARK AND HANDSOME. i like to think he dresses pretty amazing cause he has a big ego and to show off hed wear stuff like suit and ties. honestly? 5 hygiene is decent in my opinion. 5 LUNAR (when he was a villain): 6/10 he has that cute short boy factor. light blue- its giving uwu soft baby vibes...but honestly he had such a weird color palette. i think ill give him a 3 for this hygiene....i think its more better then current lunar. cause look: eclipse WOULD force him to clean himself so ill give him a 3 THE CREATOR: -5/10 hes a brain. 0 why the fuck would you put soap and water on a brain? wouldnt that licherally fucking harm him? and hes a scientist who only ever cares about his intelligence. bro has not touched a deodarant stick in years. -5

RUIN: 9/10 he has that shawty vibe. like- hes short but i think he has a cute butt (im actually fucking serious. he is the type to have a cute looking butt) i think his fashion is cute... however tbfh i hate that his hat makes him look half bald. its a 4 for me he has decent hygiene, ngl. i think im giving him a 5 EVIL LUNAR: 5/20 its kinda giving cute? he seems like those types of guys who wear cute frilly lolita stuff and honestly thats CUTE not HOT tho. however im giving him a 3. (i minused points cause his color palettes ugly ngl) i think he has poor hygiene but not as poor as our lunar. im giving it a 2 EVIL EARTH: 10/10 OK. IM NGL. I THINK HER FASHION IS ON FLEEK. ITS GIVING OFFICE SIREN ITS GIVING ELLE WOODS. ITS GIVING PANTSUITS. shes HOT NGL. AND TALL. Introducing; my version of Rise’s Venus de Milo! (OUTDATED; adding the canon design for BM’s assistant!)

(she/her/thon/thons) She’s about 9 ft tall since she’s equally based off of Frankenstein, IDW Venus and the OG Venus de Milo. more info about her and her life under the cut! (Like, a lot more info, she’s been living in my head since last April) (She’s a year old and I’m only now revealing her info!) (HBD Venus!!)

Her Family in the Hidden City

Big Mama had her made by a scientist/patron of hers during the first 2 seasons as a synthetic competitor for her Battle Nexus, but after her change of heart in the S2 finale, she took thon in as her heiress and daughter to try and do something right for a change. It’s very hard for her. Her parenting style is a good balance of gentle and stern but she thinks praise is a good replacement for emotional vulnerability and it’s turned Venus into quite a megalomaniac. Venus just calls her “Mama” and BM calls her “Veedee” (If she calls thon “Venus,” thon’s in deep shit)

Time wise, after the movie she’s physically at age 1.5, 2 years old, though mentally thon’s about where Leo and Donnie are, 16. (Still very young, please keep in mind she is a child and has big eyes like the teenagers in the show, she’s just tall. If you sexualize her I will send you to the shadow realm. BEHAVE.)

Venus also sees the doctor that made her, Dr Shelly, as her father, and they’re quite close. She spent the first few weeks of her life in his home, mostly in his library where she filled her head with everything most people know intuitively. She often can recite information she has no memory of learning, these first few weeks were less like learning and more like remembering information but from no memories.

Venus’s closest friend & surrogate older sister is Jennika, who works as Big Mama’s assistant (and a fine artist!) under the codename “Frida.” The 2 spend most of their days on diplomatic missions in the Hidden City mafia underworld and managing/restructuring the Battle Nexus to be more ethical. Venus is a naturally studious academic who loves philosophy, literature, and of course, renaissance art, so adults tend to think she’s mature, but only Jennika really knows how naive she can be. Jennika misses her human family, so they’ve really latched onto each other.

She picked her name out herself. When thon was first revived, Shelly rushed up to her and almost addressed her with a name starting with V but stopped himself before he could say it in full. Changed his mind and said that he supposed that name probably wouldn’t fit right now. So she had a preference for a V name.

Thon’s Physiology

It’s quite the mystery how he did it, but the secret to Venus’s sentience is a machine that manages to convert any matter she digests into energy in the form of empyrean. This is why she was mostly kept a rapunzel-like secret for the first few months of her life before she had Jennika as a bodyguard. Nobody knows about her heart except herself, Jennika, Shelly and Big Mama.

If she bleeds or cries, it glows bright green, so she hates both because thon feels like she’s drawing attention to herself. She’s insecure about most of her organic parts anyway and pushes herself to appear stoney, inorganic and perfect. (The consequences of idolizing and wanting to emulate a literal goddess statue, skill issue) It’s not like her fears are completely unfounded though, she has no idea where Shelly got her dead body parts.

If she’s too stressed, the seams on her upper arms bleed and they fall off like a gecko tail. She kinda looks like the og Venus do Milo statue when that happens, it’s a bit gruesome.

To represent her need to balance the organic/inorganic parts of herself, thon’s biggest dreams vs realistic expectations for herself, her right hand is organic (and based off the 2012 turtles) while her left is robotic. (& made to look like big mama’s claws in her spider form)

Goals & wants

She wants to overthrow the council of heads and rule the Hidden City as president. (Through a democracy of course!) She sees them as ineffective and useless, she went to them during the Kraang invasion to tell them something needed to be done about the alien invaders but they did nothing and said to let the turtles handle it. She’s grateful everything turned out well but she still has a grudge against them and the way they run things. Big Mama thinks she’s silly and Jennika thinks she’s a mentally unwell, workaholic, megalomaniac but pizza supreme as her witness, thon’s gonna do it.

Thon wants to be a good, ethical leader/politician (oxymoronic, I know lmao) and sees the increasing amount of Battle Nexus estate Big Mama entrusts her with as practice for managing yokai society. She would love “the Good Place.”

She also wants to know more about Jennika and for her to reconcile with her father.

Venus’s arc

“Your life is your own, ok?!” She struggles with dehumanizing (de-turtle-izing?) herself because she believes it makes her greater, more fit to achieve her goals. When the fact that she’s a mortal, breathing, living being, that can’t possibly be anywhere near divine like thon thinks she needs to be hits her, she spirals. Thon desperately needs to learn that being imperfect is a necessary gift, that she is “the protagonist of her own life” and that you don’t need to be a great person to do great things, you just need to be a person.

She’s very studious and seen as intelligent and mature for her age, but when she’s put in real life situations after meeting her cousins, the turtles, she has to learn to to manage imperfections and embrace them.

She’s quite based off of MP100 and Barbie haha.

For this internal conflict I was inspired by how the original character’s depiction back in the 80’s was really,, dehumanizing? if that’s the right word? Misogynistic very much too. I find the message that; “no matter what other people think of you or what you think of yourself, you will never be anything more or less than a regular being” both comforting in itself and a neat subversion of the original VdM since one of my favorite aspects of Rise’s writing is how subversive it is.

I can’t wait to show you more of her! Esp how she interacts with the Mad Dogs!

Bonus; Design Details!

All the turtles have shape motifs; square, rectangle, circle, triangle, her’s is a Raindrop shape! Combined with her electric motifs she’s a bit of a storm cloud lol

The Turtles’s shells are s-shaped and follow the curvature of a human spine, I draw Venus’s shell really distorted and disproportionate to this since she’s inorganic.

Similarly, while the other turtles shells and plastrons are like boxes that contain their whole torsos, thon’s kinda just sits on top of her torso, where her plastron ends and her legs begin don’t line up. It started out as an anatomical error but i liked how it made her look distorted and off somehow. (Kinda gruesome, but it kinda helps her look like a bloated corpse, which is what she is aksjks) To be clearer, the difference between how the mad dogs’ shells/plastrons/bridges(sides) are attached to their bodies vs Venus’s is like the difference between a bodysuit and a t-shirt.

Okay so even if yesterday's episode felt underwhelming it was a clear set up to Sun's another major arc.

Yes, this is a defense of "Sun's therapy with Jack" episode.

As much as all of us wants to see Sun finally letting it all out showrunners can't resolve Sun's plot too quickly hence why they're prolonging it so much.

And by resolve I mean that we'll finally have some things that were hinted since the beginning come to fruition.

Sun is in very poor mental state at the moment. He's basically one bad news away from completely falling apart. And you probably guessed that right. This bad news is Dazzle's secret about being one of the July 16th victims. And if we consider that Dazzle thinks that Sun caused July 16th incident this revelation will definitely destroy Sun completely.

Because it'll be the last straw for Sun considering that he always blamed himself for what happened on that fateful day. "But he later found out that Bloodmoon did that" yes but look at how Sun reacted to BM's death. Why he's so upset about it if Bloodmoon killed these kids, if Bloodmoon is "all the evil on Earth"?

Maybe that's because Sun thinks that it was his fault that Bloodmoon did that. That if he made Eclipse to be like that, he definitely could do the same with Bloodmoon. Especially if Bloodmoon was in his head.

You probably think that that's a stretch but let's take a look at what Sun told Moon when he visited him in his "jail": "I tried everything". Doesn't it sound familiar? These are the exact same words Sun told to OG Eclipse and later to new Bloodmoon and even before he killed OG Bloodmoon he said that he tried to warn them. He tried to make things better, make things right. But everything always went wrong. Every single time.

"But it still doesn't prove that Sun feels like it's all his fault". But when we take this Lunar's line: "It's not on us" to which Sun added: "isn't it?" as if he tried to say that maybe it is their fault. Because he most definitely thinks that this is his fault.

And Sun also feels bad for even considering that Moon was toxic and he wasn't the best brother to him. He also hates feeling angry. Not only because he might feel wrong for being angry at Moon but also because who knows what he may create when he's angry. Maybe he already made someone in his head only to later force them to do his bidding. Because that's what he did with Old Moon, Eclipse and Bloodmoon.

But the most convincing evidence that Sun blames himself for everything bad that happened is what he told Jack about Moon crying that he misses his brother, Solar. "I felt like he despises me" this definitely isn't something that someone says when they feel jealous or even just simply hurt. Because if Sun was only hurt by Moon's words why he didn't say "he probably doesn't love me"?

Because "despise" indicates something fairly different from simple lack of love or hate.

When someone despises you they think of you as someone who has no value or is bad.

Which is exactly how Sun feels. He thinks that he doesn't provide anything to Moon. He thinks that he's bad brother to Moon. Unlike Solar who is capable, knows everything, can do everything, is able to calm Moon down, is strong, independent, Moon always laughs at his jokes and the list of Solar's positive sides goes on and on.

Sun doesn't have any of that to offer to Moon.

I'm pretty sure that Sun lashes out and says that both Moons are toxic (even if they are, I'm talking about Sun's feelings) and he doesn't care about any of them and he says Monty to switch both Moons like he dgaf about it and later told Monty to do whatever he wants, he does that to not think about how he screwed up both Old and New Moon's lives.

"Why do you think that Sun still blames himself when he realized that both Moons treated him badly?" What if told you that mgafs episode happened before sams episode? Because in mgafs episode it was sunset outside but in sams episode it was night. Also Sun's first line from sams episode implies that it happened after mgafs episode: "What to do now?"

Sun is very conflicted on whether his life would be better without Moon or not. He clearly still cares about Moon but he needs some distance and time away from him. But at the same time he needs help to a problem he doesn't even realize he has because he isn't even aware of his mental issues.

And even if Jack told him that he has others - Earth and Lunar - it's pretty obvious that Sun isn't sure if they should be around him considering how he ruined both Moon's lives and Solar's as well.

I'm really worried that Sun may try to kill himself. He sounded as if he doesn't think that he should keep going after all he has done.

At the end I say that someone said that Sun will turn into Eclipse. Congratulations cause this is exactly what Sun is afraid of. That he's just like Eclipse or worse. After all, even New Moon fairly recently told him that he still has a bit of Eclipse in himself. And to clarify no, Sun won't become Eclipse. He'll sooner or later develop psychotic episode fully and in order to prevent himself from killing anyone he'll either harm himself or he'll attempt suicide.

There are still many people who don't understand Sun's character and it shows.

I'm sorry, but I'm still not over how bad the BM comic pages are.

Like, Val's face is super inconsistence. The shape and broadness of her nose, her eyebrow thickness and the amount of forehead she has keeps changing. In some panels her upper lip is shaded in black, in others, it isn't and that got nothing to do with distance. In some panels she has green eyes, in others her eyes are brown. There is one panel where one eye has eyelashes and the other one has not. Also, her skin colour changed (in the same light setting!) from normal pale to fucking orange.

And then there is Skul. His hat changed from grey to blue. I also don't like his design. Bring back the OG design aka purple tie and white hatband instead of red. I also don't like they made the hatband broader and took the little bow away :/ Also, I miss the pinstripes. This isn't accurate to phases 1 OR 2. Bc in 2 he wears 3 piece suits, in 1 he wears 2 piece suits. Also, the skull reveal was awful, that's not what skulls look like. The teeth are way too low!

Also in some panels, there are bushes as background where there should be wall (probably bc the artist ran out of time) and don't even get me started on colour theory!

OG Jason/NU Jason

This whole "who's the real Jason" has really got my stomach twisted up in knots, so much so that I waited until today to catch up on what's going on so I wouldn't have to wait over the long weekend. I have to say Steve Burton is doing and awesome job at convincing everybody, even I find myself with doubts, but then what else can you expect for THE guy who made Jason Morgan the household name and icon it is today. Both men are doing a fantastic job! Billy plays the "wounded can't believe my whole family is turning their backs on me and I'm about to lose everyone I love" arc very well. Got to admit though, Steve being back reminds of what was and why I fell in love with Jasam in the first place. And as much as I loved Billy, in the beginning I was exactly like all the doubters now, "he's nothing like Jason, Jason would never do this, Jason would never say that." But eventually and without even realizing, I came to love who Jason is NOW! I pride myself on being a Jasam fan and I hope that never has to change. Patient 6 brings back memories, memories I cherished but in being reminded of old times I came to realize, that's just what they are, old times. And as much as I loved those times I have COMPLETELY moved on. I Loved what made Jasam Jasam and the huge part Steve played in that but things are different now and even if BM isn't Jason, Sam has changed, she's a mom now and she has 2 beautiful children to think about. Danny missed out with his dad as a baby Scout doesn't need to go through that too. So I said all of that to say this, it doesn't matter who Jason is I stand with Billy Miller.

I have nothing against Steve being Jason, he made the character. I mean I hope he isn't, from a storyline point of view but as an actor I think he did and will do an amazing job. But Billy also does an amazing job, he has manage to step into a role made iconic by someone else, made it his own and manage to win over die hearted Jasam fans like myself. I don't care who's Jason, I mean I do, but more than that I just really want this to be resolved before I get a stomach ulster.

Is there a reason why you haven’t really giffed OG Jason and Sam scenes? There’s so many and with Danny. Or is it because you prefer nujasam even if it’s not gonna be jasam anymore if BM is Drew. Kinda sad because my strongest feeling out of all this is that Steve Burton will be Jason. I dont even care who Sam chooses at this point. so many loyal jasam fans hate SBu &OG Jason. Which doesnt make sense considering so many want BM 2be Jason still. I wish more people giffed jasam. I miss OG so bad.

I just haven’t had a lot of time to keep up with this blog. Otherwise I’d be gif’ing both OG and Nu all day. I love both of them so much and I’m really loving this story so far. There are people gif’ing OG though, not a lot but I am seeing gifs here and there. I wish I could find the time to keep up with this more because I like having gifs of the important scenes. But I will try and gif some OG soon for you anon :)

One year later…

Hey all,

Happy June aka Pride Month (for all, but especially for the lgbtqiap+ community)! BE

FREE… BE YOU… whatever that means… because life is a journey and finding and living

your truth is a constant. My truth as a queer vegan wine lush/ foodie and blogger is

getting back into sharing the good word with you… that word being Eat, Drink, Watch…

in the past month(s) I’ve made an effort to see more movies, shows and try out lots of

spots in LA County, but don’t fret… I will be venturing to other places and states this year

for life events such as my best friend’s (one of dos) wedding in Washington (State) later

this year and to Nevada this weekend for the Bachelor party… but don’t worry it’s not

going to be a Julia Roberts situation… well maybe hair wise… thank you pre-summer heat

& humidity.

One way to stay refreshed to beat the heat is with some choice beverages and my

choice beverage in months to come is HARD KOMBUCHA (and that rosé all day even

more so now that there’s rosé EVERYTHING)…. according to wikipedia:

Kombucha is a fermented, slightly alcoholic, lightly effervescent,  sweetened black or green tea drink commonly intended as a functional beverage for its “supposed health benefits.”

HARD Kombucha to be more on the nose is very alcoholic, ranging from 4% and up

(much like hard cider) and is a popular alternative for adult beverage partakers who

aren’t big on beer, wine, whiskey, and all that other fun treat yoself stuff.

We (mi and mi amor) had the pleasure of indulging in two quality H.K. brands

among other things… while binging the magic, merriment and mishaps of Abbi &

Ilana… those beautiful “Jew-ess” (Jewish Goddess – call back to the final season and Miss

Wexler finally getting some ethnically appropriate hoops) KWANES of the NY do their

thing we call life.

Abbi goes on a journey of creativity, realizing she’s kind of just jumping from one job

to the next, but not really living out her full dreams (as an artist) since she’s a floor sales

associate at Antropologie (that discount though O.O).

She finally takes life by the metaphorical balls and “Makes the Space” in an episode

of the same name only to get fired for overstepping in Broad City spirit (probably one of

my top three ep picks for this season and not just because of the Guillermo Diaz guest

spot/character arc as Jaime’s boyfriend from Jersey. Love me some Guillermo…who you

may know from Scandal (w/ Kerry Washington), Oil Can Harry’s in Studio City (one of

my bar/dance/karaoke hangs… he’s a regular), Weeds (con en español/with Mary Louise

Parker who I think is somehow related to Parker Posey or should play her sister in some

one off project and have mixed up recently… though I definitely know as well as love me

some P. Posey in The Sweetest Thing, Josie & the Pussycats, Adam & Steve, etc…. so

why I did that is beyond me… but hey I’m 33 and it’s just “spilt milk” and I’m non-dairy so

I’m over it… sorry not sorry mostly…), Half Baked (also starring Dave Chappelle) or I

Wanna Go music video via Britney Spears… it’s Britney… Betch!!!!)

  As Ilana finds her own bliss cashing out her bitcoin capital to start a business and

live out her pansexual freedom… solo… so much freedom that she at some point drunkly

kissed Bevers  #bearcub at some point off season.

So much good in this season including the Instagram Stories birthday episode to kick

it all off… sipping Kyla was definitely a highlight. Kyla is a popular craft brew hard

kombucha priced around ten bucks per six pack (without tax) hitting you smoothly at

4.5% abv and comes in 4 different flavors Ginger Tangerine (OG), Pink Grapefruit

(Emmanuel’s aka my boyfriend’s favorite), Hibiscus Lime and Cold Brew… yes hard craft

cold brew kombucha… it’s hella strong and yes I just used the word hella in 2019. Kyla is

best served cold or at room temp, though it does fair well when warm compare to Booch

Craft my favorite craft kombucha brand and not just because I was the VERY lucky

winner of their Sun & Swell mashup IG contest (Lemon Coconut snack bites take the gold

medal, Clean Cookie gets the silver, my fav color). This made grabbing this quality drank

easier than applying some sunscreen

before going out the door for work in

the morning (*hint* pile that ish on…).

While I do believe all Booch Craft is

created equally we did discover that

the Ginger*Lime*Rosemary is more

enjoyable at room temp. Now as a lush I enjoy most beverages both non and completely

alcoholic… that didn’t come out right…, but some people don’t have a pallet for that malty,

yeast-ish, hay ale and beer savor… this would be the closest flavor to these two worlds

and is what I’d recommend for the beer guy or gal or just being who is looking to branch

out and expand their pallet then graduate into some of the more creative mouth-feel

styles such as Apple*Lime*Jasmine and Grapefruit*Hibiscus*Heather.  ALJ is a

showstopper like everyone embrassing the sexual fluidity of Abbi in Broad City’s

final season when she starts dating Dr. Lesley Marnell also known as CLEA DUVALL (in

real life) or the explored sexuality of “Striking Vipers”/ Black Mirror season 5 episode 1,

which come BM we can’t have one straight forward representation of queer men… it’s

2019… 

Tangents and rants aside… Black Mirror is great and the new season is worth it, go in

with an open mind… by best male friend Mr. Ryan Russell noted we often go into new

seasons, reboots and remakes with so much judgement we can’t appreciate all the

“notes”… the same applies to the world of beverages… maybe kombucha might be

farfetch’d if and when you try it in any form… but take a pause… smell it… take in the

color, texture and all the aspects on the surface… give it a swish and let it roll over your

taste buds then in a few seconds give it another go… you’d be surprised at what you get

and how much you enjoy the second go around… apply this process to your view habits

(less literally) and see where it takes you…. could even work in life… *mind blown*

GH Rant

I haven't really spoken much on GH lately, mostly because I wanted to let things play out a bit before commenting. I know what I'm enjoying (GHToo, Alexis in therapy) so I don't have much to say about that. But there's so much that I don't like, so I'd like to vent a bit. 

First, Friz. I’ve come to terms with the fact that RoHo and RH are absolutely adorable together. They have great chemistry, imo, and they play very well off of each other. I hate that it is Franco, but love them when I forget who he is. They were the first step, in the past month or so, to me breaking all of my FF ties and accepting characters as they are. One thing I’ve seen is that people hate his insecurities, and find it annoying. I get it, but also, I like that it isn’t Liz that is written that way, when they very well could. Insecurites in men, especially men as damaged as Franco is, make sense. The guy was cheated on by the first person who loved him even knowing what he did to those they are close to, and Nina had different aims when it came to parenthood, which was totally her right. He sees Elizabeth as this perfect person who has made mistakes, but he doesn’t think that those mistakes take away from her in his eyes. Can he help that he sees her as perfect? No, and that has to be intimidating for him since he sees himself as completely opposite. I just wish they would have had him continue seeing Kevin, even offscreen, to work on those insecurities. I like that Elizabeth has found her own stability, too. When she and Franco were apart(didn’t last long but still) she didn’t break down. She didn’t whine about him not being there, or waffle on the decision. She knew that they both needed time and she did what she needed. I actually think I can grow to like Elizabeth as a character and not just as part of a couple. Right now, my appreciation for Franco is in his relationships with Liz and Kiki. 

Peter. Sucks. I like Obrecht, but I wish she would take one for the team and kill him. Sooner rather than later. 

Grava/Griki is stupid and gross. Griffin can leave now. 

Oscar is boring. Joss is boring, but has potential now that she’s a little klepto, and the actor playing Cam is a bit,,robotic. but I’ll give him a chance because OMG THEY AGED CAM. 

The mob story is so boring. The Alzheimer story is now tertiary, because the mob story is secondary to Carly’s story. 

Dante is gone and DZ’s send off was not well done. 

This Carly thing is...okay. I’m actually starting to like the way they have Nelle because it’s consistent, and Michael isn’t being blinded by her. It makes me sad that CL is leaving now because I’m starting to enjoy her. I like that they had Kevin talk to Carly about her relationship with Jason. A lot of the interaction between Jason and Carly seems borderline romantic to me. The hands against the window between them, the way Jason talks about Carly, the way Carly talks about Jason, and the lengths that Jason is going to for her, but unless they are making Jarly happen again, then it is ridiculous. Jason is supposed to be so in love with Sam, but all he talks to Sam about is Carly. He doesn’t ask how she is, or what’s going on with her. Other than today’s episode, they haven’t spoken about something other than Carly or Peter since she told him she loved him. Which brings me to my next point.

The triangle. Now, I get that to have a love triangle, you need three people. Jason, Sam, Drew. They all interacted, until the Nurses Ball, then there was nothing between her and Drew. At all. Which makes no sense. Jason was always around, but now that Sam and Drew decided to get divorced, they can’t find their way into the same room at the same time if the both were programmed to sit in a room and not leave. Why? Some would say that it’s because Drew and Sam aren’t the story, others would say that BM and KM have too much chemistry. I think that these writers just don’t write women well. Here’s why I break it down to that. Sam’s finding herself has been narrowed down to being a PI. Not being a mom, because you rarely hear or see that. Not being a daughter or sister or friend. But being a PI. I love PI Sam. I like that she has her own career. What I don’t like is that they had to write Sam as someone who was forced into doing something she didn’t really want to because Jason suggested it, then, once she found out it wasn’t Jason, it wasn’t good enough, or who she is. And now that Jason is back, and he’s fallen back into his 2012 sized space in the Corinthos Clan, Sam has to fall back into her box from when she was with him last. The PI who only did PI stuff on screen if it had to do with Jason. At McCall and Jackal, she had multiple cases at once, but now she only works on finding Peter, and helps Jason on the side. Why? Because that is all these writers can think of when it comes to characterizing Sam. This is what happens to her when she is with Jason, even when BM was Jason. His opinion becomes her end all be all, her ability to fit into her slot in his life is the most important, and everything else tends to become secondary. The only reason I didn't mind it as much with BM was because NuJ did what I always wanted OG to do: put Sam first. People can argue with me all day about that, but the truth of it is that Sam has only come before Sonny once and Carly never. Jason just got done telling Sam that he would take Carly and run to Canada. So, yeah NuJasam was super co-dependent, but it was co-dependent on BOTH sides. Unhealthy? Yes, but it’s a soap so unhealthy is a bit expected. Jasam has made Sam put Jason on a pedestal and Jason put Sam as an equal, which normally would be fine, but since he sees himself as less important that Carly and Michael and Sonny and Elizabeth and whoever else is “a friend” who “was there for him” at some hard time in his life and he “owes it to them” and keeps that gratitude for life, no matter what they do to him and his. (Yes, I am still mad that Jason has said nothing to Elizabeth about what she did to Sam and Danny, but actually threatened Sam with jail twice if she revealed a secret, and death if she hurt Elizabeth or her kids. Just another missed point in this return story). So no, I don’t see this PI Sam as a return of real Sam. I see real Sam with Maxie, and today with Lucas I saw personality peek through. I don’t see her in her scenes with Jason where she stars as a person to bounce ideas off of. Drew, meanwhile, has been bussed, then reversed over, and hit again every time he has a scene with Franco. He’s been forced into a weird friendship thing with Kim, and has Oscar acting like a 5 year old with his “I want my mom and dad together” mess. I get that he hasn’t had a typical family life, but it’s annoying now. But that could be me just not liking Oscar. Drew’s waffling on the memory thing makes me mad too, because now he’s stuck in limbo. There’s no risk in stagnation and that is exactly how Drew is. Stagnant. He isn’t moving forward with learning about himself and his life, he isn’t going back to the things and people he knows now, so he’s kinda stuck in the middle with no direction except “Oscar is important, Aurora is mine, and Scout is with her grandmother”. And now there’s the 15 years of Jasam thing. Look, I hated when I would see people talk about 18 years of Liason, since they weren’t together that long. They were in limbo at first, not together but borderline occasionally, then finally together, then in secret, then broken up, then almost together again. But for some of that, they weren’t really involved in each other’s lives. so you can’t count that as part of their history. So, Sam being with Jax and Sonny, and Jason with Courtney, then Jason and Sam hating each other, then Jason being gone for 5 years, means that there aren’t 15 years of Jasam. At all. 

Trying to understand the choices made on the show when it comes to writing story and dialogue, putting people together, and breaking them up, frustrates me on a level that I have never known before. I don’t watch consistently anymore. I watch 2 or 3 episodes at a time because it has become so easy for me to decide not to watch, and then watch when I’m bored, and it makes me sad because this was my favorite show for such a long time, and now I almost don’t care.
