i like to think that when Fig is cuddled up to Ayda, Ayda wraps her wings around her in a protective manner. This causes moments where people are like "where's fig?" and almost immediately, her head pops up over Ayda's wing.

I often think about how from the first moment they met, Fig was always so ready to explain to Ayda anything she didn't catch. I think of how genuinely she answered her questions and how she showed awe and appreciation towards her from the get go. How her first thought upon seeing her was "This must be the majestic creature I asked for to my principal". How she wanted to impress her so badly she kept up the Rawlins act and started running faster than ever because Ayda asked.

There is something so precious in the innocent and genuine way their relationship started. Especially when compared to the way Fig has been throwing herself in toxic situations with older men while appearing like someone else.

Also of course Kipperlily lost her shit about Kristen not taking the campaign seriously. She's a kid who gets passionate about shit and her "friends" use it to take the piss and make her mad on purpose. It reminds me of my own childhood or the treatment of other neurodivergent kids in primary school, where you'd say you don't like being touched or that you want your stuff organised a certain way or bring a fidget toy or something to school with you and some kid would come and harrass you and move stuff and take things out of your hands just to get you to have a meltdown or give them a reaction they can laugh at you about.

She cares about the presidency, and thinks Kristen is taking it to fuck with her on purpose just like Ruben did with their party name and countless shithead kids probably did in the past.

It occurred to me that this season's been a little different than the first years (especially Sophomore Year) because it seems like the Bad Kids aren't forming as many relationships to NPCs - not bringing them along on adventures or talking that much outside of getting information (at least not friendly NPCs, they're interacting with the Rat Grinders plenty) and then I noticed that in downtime, they've basically been ignoring rolling for the Relationships track. It's almost like being in a constantly stressful and results-focused environment really destroys your interpersonal relationships
