Ah, I am hardly fluent in Japanese, nor am I Japanese! I try my best to be careful with how I interpret phrases and words, but I think there is a lot that I miss because of the loss of cultural understanding/context 😔 sorry if I’ve misled in any way.

Some people have a natural talent when it comes to languages and - alas, I am not one of them 🤣

I took some Japanese language lessons back when I was a teenager, did some self study (with manga, magazines, novels, cds, dictionaries & workbooks), and when I entered university, I did two years of Japanese as part of my electives.

Nothing since!

This was actually kind of quite some time ago. Until I stumbled upon the jjk fandom, I hadn’t practiced any Japanese. I’m rusty 🥲 kanji is difficult to learn. It is infinitely easier with new tech these days, but in all honesty it makes me lazy so I don’t think I progress/improve much.

So now… I get by through passively reading the language, use google translate liberally, but don’t tend to speak it because I lack the confidence to do so.

Especially when it comes to interacting with people who speak it online, I’m not confident when it comes to polite Japanese anyway, and it’s a bit of a minefield trying to grasp the online etiquette of the Japanese 😵‍💫 so I tend to avoid conversing in it, unless it’d be rude not to attempt.

I’m like this with other secondary languages too. I’m really only fluent in English 😓

Jackie was so excited about the gig and V told him to keep it in check and calm down - it was Dex after all, everyone knew what he was up to. And now all V can do is to leave apologizes on Jackie's answering machine. His death got V into deep depression.

🩺 Viktor

Vik is like a big brother/uncle to V. He never asks for any favors of V like everyone else does yet having V around helps to get rid of the gangs that would've made Vik and Misty's life hard otherwise, so V never takes more from Vik than he's able to return. Once or twice a week V brusts into the shop for 20 minutes to watch a match with Vik and Vik comments on V's unhealthy eating habits because he only ever eats candy or a whole back of chips for lunch. This little family cares a lot for each other!

🎤 Kerry

Lets be honest, V went on a shopping tour before he meet Kerry because he had a little celeb crush on him. And although V is the biggest Us Crack fanboy he helped Ker destroy their stuff. He got paid for it after all.

Until a certain point he thought Kerry only saw Johnny in him and when they started their thing he didn't ment to fall for Ker but in the end it didn't matter because V was going to die anyway, right? (I don't want to spoiler Phantom Liberty so I'm just gonna say that I'm not sure how their relationship will go on from there ... same goes for Vik btw!)

🍙 Goro

It's a love/hate thing but not as drastic as it sounds. V is thankful that Goro helped him yet totally aware that he only did it for himself. He's a corpo after all, and V has a hard time trusting them. And hey after Goro didn't tell him the truth about his plan regarding Hanako V has every right to be suspicious of him. Still he was utterly disappointed when Goro left the city - V loved talking about all this to someone who wasn't just a brainworm. V teased Goro a lot, he ate his leftovers (like don't throw away totally fine food, man, people are starving) and has sent Goro pics of Nibbles (such a missed opportunity CDPR).

🥃 Rogue

So - ah - Rogue, V has a lot of respect for her. Although she constantly reminded him that all the people he works with die and that she didn't want to give gigs to him. These reminder really got to V, he tried to prove to her that he's someone and not just Johnny's host, especially after the tower ending. After Rogue and Johnny's date their relationship got a bit awkward tho

now. you’ve heard me wail about this many many times, but i will never get over your characterization. i loved how you separated the trio’s interactions with the reader’s cousin and how distinct their reactions were? kuroo maintaining his superiority in the office. akaashi being his overly cool self and inviting the biggest threat to them to dinner for a casual bowl of ramen (the way he was just redirecting everything and reminiscing too was *perfection*). and ah. bokuto. i can’t help but think kuroo and akaashi sent him to take care of sato because they /know/ he’s the one who can get too excited. too passionate. too physical.

makes for a more painful experience for the one threatening to ruin the perfect world they’ve built.

also, everytime i think your writing can’t be more painful, more complex than the last, you outdo yourself. the reader herself coming out to tell her cousin to back off? lie to the cops? excruciating. exquisite and excruciating, miss rhi.

lastly, as someone planning to study law, it was an absolute delight to see the justice system get bashed lmao

It was fun jumping from kuroo’s smug antagonism to akaashi being super unnerving behind all that polite nonchalance, and then, of course, to my favourite ball of crazy, Bokuto.

And you’re absolutely right. Even if Bokuto had have calmed down after sex with the reader and decided to let it go, those two would’ve been in his ear reminding him of all he had to lose, how kisumi was gonna take her away. They were winding him up and setting him loose on kisumi. Problem, meet solution ehdhdhdjdkkdk

It’s very much a two birds one stone situation because it also serves to hammer home to the reader that while they’ll never hurt her like that, her family and loved ones are absolutely fair game.

Well I’m not a big shipper naturally tbh, unless I see undeniable chemistry and/or suggestive scenes between characters, I’m probably just going to ship what was canon— that was until I fully entered tumblr and related fandom spaces. Now I see ships everywhere. Especially with Ao3.

Ao3 has made me ship soooo many ships, the OG being Superarrow/Kariver

More recently tho: Coldflash (my current OTP), Snowest, Hartmon, and I personally prefer them as platonic but I definitely support them as a ship— Barrisco

Also as much as I hate to admit it— I understand Eobarry and why people ship it (One sidedly it’s basically canon) but I still do not like it and definitely don’t ship it. (Ok but how tf could it ever be two sided guys— it’s also creepy af) nvm I’m not jumping into that rabbit hole today.

N “Name three things you wish you saw more or in your main fandom (or a fandom of choice)” : Hmm— does more fanfiction count?💀 Ok ok, three things let’s seeeee

1: More merchandise. I finally have a STAR labs sweatshirt and it is one of my most treasured possessions— but I wish there was more options, I wish we could get Ciscos vibe glasses or smth like that (I know we can on ebay and stuff, but it’d be nice if the CW or WB put in merch effort) Ah. The pain of smaller fandoms (and I say this in relation to my other big fandoms being Star Wars and the MCU)

2: Less discourse/hate. I’ve calibrated my space here on tumblr to be on the positive side of the fandom but I remember when I couldn’t look at comment sections without seeing at least 10 hate comments (from other fans may I add). Idk maybe it’s not as bad now. I also notice this was primarily around the topic of shipping; specifically around Westallen vs Snowbarry, I saw some pretty bad stuff on both sides. Personally I just believe in ship and let ship. If you don’t like a ship then that’s fine; but don’t attack the people who do. But like I said; maybe it’s not as bad now. (Sry that was a long one lol)

3: M o r e w h u m p— including taking place in later seasons; 9x4 has so much potential and I really want someone to take advantage of it (I say, knowing full well that I could write it— I can’t though; The Bad Ending is taking up all of my writing time/energy)

Now as a fanfiction writer, I have to have headcanons; it’s how I make the story and characters work while giving them extra depth. Naturally however; it’s not something I would usually think of outside of that. I have created the most fanfictions for this fandom by far (It was also the first media I ever wrote it for) so naturally I indeed have headcanons that will make their way into my fics.

Oliver trained Team Flash in hand to hand combat Now this one is less of a headcanon and more something I wish happened— cause where tf did they get their training from?? Maybe I’m missing/forgetting something and if so sry my bad— but this seems like something that absolutely could’ve happened. (I’m not counting superhero fight club as canon btw; as fun as it is)

Everyone goes to therapy

Gods this one is more wishful thinking than anything else— I’ll never forgive the CW for having Barry and Iris take couples therapy when what they both need is therapy therapy. The number of life threatening scenarios the entirety of Team Flash has gone through is more than enough to warrant therapy (and some form of PTSD but that’s a whole nother topic). The only possible exception I would make is Barry, because it would not surprise me at all if Joe had him go as a kid and the therapist didn’t believe him about the man in yellow just like everyone else; plenty of people have bad experiences with therapy that make them not want to go and that’s completely understandable.

Its never a to b . I hope this helps you come it terms with what happend.

I dont exactly feel comfortable trying to answer how they feel as i have no way of accurately doing so even though tarot and i feel like it would be cruel to say " ah she still misses u " or they dont miss you etc when i dont believe i have the ability to tell you how a person feels.

LIKE WHAT?!?!? they just minding their business and all of a sudden danger is near they don’t have limbs or anything so they’re just like “ah shit what am i gonna do now. i guess i’m just gonna have to die- IS WHAT YOU THINK” AND THEY JUST START SHOOTING THEIR ORGANS AT YOU LIKE ITS NOTHING!!! and their organs are poisonous to predators so not only are they shooting organs at you but POISONOUS ORGANS!! they’ll sometimes just shoot out their entire digestive system. like what??? but oh don’t worry THEYRE ORGANS GROW BACK!!?!?! how are these things real man? like there’s no way these things just exist and no one talks about it.

i hope your days get a little more exciting if that’s what you’re wanting :] boring days can feel a bit resting though and there’s no shame in that.

yes studying can be hard! especially with all the pressure that comes along with it. but in the end, if it’s something you’re really pursuing, it’ll be so worth it.

hmm….when i feel low…ah honestly 🥲 i tend to isolate myself but it’s only because i need space to organize my thoughts and also so i don’t accidentally hurt anyones feelings with my attitude since i can get moody. (this makes ppl mad too tho🤣) i try to write down all my thoughts and vent about whatever’s on my mind. if that doesn’t work, because sometimes it doesn’t, i will focus on listening to music and watching videos.

that’s if my mood is at a low point for a short amount of time but if i’m feeling down for a longer period of time then i really try to pull myself together and create a good routine that i can focus on.

i’m sorry i don’t have any fic recs:/ i am never a good person to ask. but i have reblogged some posts with lots of recs on there.

Yes exactly I’m not sad at all actually; bc flight back home is only 4 h 35 min 😛 very close by!! I’m soooo in love with Jay’s voice, I didn’t realize before his voice was SO OUTSTANDING. The control he has over his notes, he’s such a versatile singer and we need more of enha’s solo covers istg🥹🤍

I doo watch k dramas, tho I watch anime more and have little time for Netflix shows. But I’ve watched quite a lot of them and the last one I watched was “true beauty”! The penthouse? I’ve heard about it a lot and have added it to my wishlist. My favourite k dramas so far were nevertheless and business proposal. 💗
