First and foremost I have to say, goddamn, you really went back into the archives to find that post 💀💀 don't get me wrong, I appreciate the hell out of you for that but, also, oof, have I already been on Tumblr for 3 fucking years!?

Second, I actually never thought too much about that idea haha. I just couldn't get past the idea of Chris using his hands in that way 🥴 because look, I'm much more of a sculptor than a potter, but it has never been lost on me (a) how much skill it takes to throw on the wheel, and (b) how fucking hot it can look lmao

So, because I never thought too deep about the idea beyond the look, I have to say That's A 👏🏻 Top 👏🏻 Notch 👏🏻 Idea 👏🏻

I love that idea, like:

Chris rolls up to a night pottery class with a baseball cap pulled down real low, trying not to be noticed, squeezing his shoulders in to be less big and noticeable.

You notice him though--he looks a little funny, trying so hard not to stand out and obviously not realizing that a long sleeve, chunky cardigan is 100% the wrong thing to wear when you're about to be playing with clay. But, you don't care about him being Mr. Movie Star (or dressed badly for this activity lol) because, obviously, if he's here for a class, he wants to learn

(Later you'll learn that Scott was the one to push him into it, telling him, lovingly, to quit just talking about beginning to work with his hands and actually Do It)

and so, he's gonna learn.

You are the teacher though, so... it's your duty to keep the secret that Captain America is in their midst.

(But that won't keep you from teasing him subtlety by asking him if he'd perhaps like a blue or red or clear glaze)

Chris might not pick up the skill of throwing as quickly as some of the others (mostly because he's never messed with clay before while many of the other students have even if it was years ago in high school or college or wherever), but he's dedicated.

He puts his all into learning throwing.

You learn quickly, instructing Chris, that he has this tendency to squeeze a little too hard and over-correct the clay. The strength he's got comes in handy with wedging clay and assisting in reconstructing the electric kilns by putting in the heavy shelves, but, when on the wheel, it's not about how hard you can press the clay, how hard you can squeeze it, or anything like that (unless you're working on huge, HUGE projects with massive amounts of clay... but, these students are not there yet). It's about letting your hands glide over the clay, it's encouraging the clay to stretch and compress delicately.

Pottery very much more finesse than force.

And you tell him that a lot in the beginning, "relax, for now, don't try to control it too much. Try to let go and just feel. Keep your elbows anchored in your hips and thighs, but, otherwise, stay loose and relaxed. Breath out. Sink into it, y’know? Relax."

Chris laughs, looking up at you from the little mound of clay he's been centering on his wheel head, "I didn't know this would be so... spiritual? I mean, shit, this feels like therapy."

"Ha," you say, "just be glad it's therapy and not Ghost."

Chris chuckles, "are those my only two options?"

"Right now, rookie? Yes." You point back at his unattended and still spinning wheel, "now, please put your nose back to the grindstone before I'm forced to saddle up behind you. I don't need to be shot in the streets before I get hands-on with my teaching"

You swear, under that cap and beard, Chris blushes. But. He also gets back to work, so... you can't be sure you're not just seeing things 👀

There are a lot of little moments like that throughout the class. Flirting. Maybe. Maybe not. Chris might just be that charming. You can't be too sure.

It's very charming to watch Chris pick up his wobbly creations after they've been put through the bisque kiln and laugh at their unstable bumps and lumps as he tries to set them flat on the table. Plus, when he sands his pieces, he murmurs to himself, talking about all the silly mistakes he finds. Nail marks. Dips. Bulges. Extra bits of clay he missed when trimming. You swear you hear him call himself a "meatball" once...

That is a challenge to not laugh at, but, you don't because you don't want him to know you're paying such close attention to him. (You can't have favorite students after all 😘)

And later, it's very sweet to watch him admire his first glazed pieces. He's very gentle with them, running his fingers back and forth, back and forth, over the smooth glaze. He seems to enjoy the smooth sensation.

Also, listen, I have no proof but I feel like Chris is gonna be the type of potter that gets Really Messy. Like, clay and slip all over his hands, of course, but also all up his forearms and flecks of it on his face and in his hair. His poor apron and shoes.

Also, I think Chris would be the type of potter that wipes their hands on their thighs over their apron 😮‍💨

Chris takes one class then another and another. He's getting much, much better.

But, he still looks like he's watching you perform magic when you quickly throw a vace or pie platter for a demonstration. It's really endearing. You'd love to see more of his face while watching you work, but, no matter how good you are at pottery, you can't do it without looking. Not yet... maybe someday, if you keep practicing.

And eventually, I'd like to think that you exchange numbers. Chris no longer takes your class and so it's fair game.

He comes over to your place and you cook a meal together because you already know each other well enough. So, you skip the more public dates that are better for strangers.

Chris seems mystified by the fact that ALL your plates, bowls, mugs, etc. are things you've made. Thrown on the pottery wheel. He just thinks it's very cool and personal. Also, he swears because of taking your class that he can't look at a factory-made plate or bowl or mug the same. They look so plain and lifeless now. In return, you tease that you'd offer to make him a set for his own home as a present (maybe for his birthday or Christmas) but, you're gonna insist that he at least try to make a set himself first.

And, hey, if he needs more encouragement maybe that Ghost option could come true...

Sometimes music will do it! Usually stuff with good bass lmao, primarily EDM or alternative. I tend to maladaptive daydream with music, not often, but then I write whatever the original idea was--but the writing usually goes in a totally different direction because I don't plan beforehand what happens. I usually have, like, plot point A and B in my head that I want to get to but everything that leads me there is totally unplanned.

Most of it is my own imagination though. My traumas actually 💀 I go on writing benders for 1-2 weeks at a time every couple months where all I do is write. Like straight up hyperfixated 8+ hours a day (that's on ADHD and it's actually super unhealthy, don't do this lmao) and I switch between multiple WIPs, very rarely do I finish one and post it unfortunately. I've got so many like 50k+ word WIPs that y'all are seriously missing out on 🥴 but they aren't cohesive enough to post.

The hyperfixation is usually triggered by something in my own life I'm trying to escape (may or may not be related to the writing I do), and then after my bender I sit back and look at my writing to try and figure out what the recurring theme is. So, for example, the last few have been primarily sex pollen, substances, or like ABO heats--all of which involve reader losing control in some way due to an external factor basically, but that's obviously me trying to process my SA where I was drunk and lost control. (I'm like 99% fine now dw it's just old stuff I'm clearing out of my head!)

Another example is like, I know one of my triggers is when I'm feeling unwell for a few days, sick or depresso or whatever. So then some of my writing might reflect the reader being taken care of in some capacity bc I didn't really get this as a kid. Lots of stuff like teacher/student or age gap dynamics--I have a sex pollen WIP that's of this exactly, reader gets hit with sex pollen and Kakashi, her mentor & 10 years older, has to help her through it. He's soooo sweet about it too and 🥺 I really want to finish this one bc it's so SOFT and the smut is 🤌

Side note if you're into astrology I've got Moon in the 3rd house which is literally my inner emotional world + processing things via writing and communication hahahah

I get inspiration from random everyday things though too, like I might be out on a walk and see a mom wearing a red coat and it'll trigger some idea for whatever reason??????? idk 😭😭 But I usually just get a basic plot idea like "reader is on a mission doing X" or "reader is a (job) and encounters X" and start there, then the rest of the plot develops as I'm writing! Zero planning whatsoever.

okay no i could!!! and i think i should, so bear with me, anon, if you're up for it. because this really is a lot

alright, we're probably thinking of the same posts and the same scenes, so your nervousness is not baseless and i understand it: the scene in which dennis talks to dee before she gets on the private jet is basically an extended incest joke and also a significant moment in the twins' relationship. that's what i was referring to! i know you have no reason to trust me or be open to how i see things (i'm new here, after all) but i would really appreciate it if you could hear me out regardless!!

i would say i made that post because no one talks about scenes like this, that are uncomfortable or have implications or where the joke itself is based on a taboo. but i'm not saying that no one talks about it because i get that too, it doesn't need to be talked about. jokes can be written off as just that, dennis and dee aren't the main focus of the show (imo.. other relationships are more developed and get highlighted more often, right?) and just in general, different people will find different parts of the same silly show to be worth their time and like,, brain power

we're compelled by different things because we've been through different things! i pick up on "vibes" (really wasn't the best or most descriptive word i could've used lol) or more like, find myself drawn to different dynamics than you might. i point out moments like this because they grab my attention and make me think because that's how i'm wired, and because i'm not worried about ruffling feathers or giving off the wrong impression, if that makes sense. except i totally am, because as you could see, i wasn't very clear 🥴 but i don't Want to be worried about making myself and my thoughts more digestible so i can fit in. let me say a few things about why i found this episode interesting, that i could've posted earlier but didn't

i think i once heard or saw someone mention that some cast member called dee dennis's other enmeshed relationship, next to mac (when mac and dennis break up, dennis goes to dee, what's what it was in relation to), and that stayed with me.. up until now i've been feeling like dee is singled out, in a way, and usually gets the short end of the stick, just like when the gang blames the cereal accident on her and uhh countless other times. maybe not everyone saw the same thing, to others it could seem like her gender has no effect on her position in the group, but it has always been a bit sad to watch for me. even if you treat a female character like one of the boys or write her almost exactly like you would a man, idk, something seems off to me, emotionally

it's a bit like when people say they're colorblind and they don't see race? that doesn't really help anyone and it doesn't make that person righteous and morally good, because we don't live in a world that's colorblind, if that makes sense. we can't fast forward to when men and women are equal, just like south park can't "insult everyone equally" lmaoo it seems like ignoring the current problems, to me. and i am Not saying sunny should be scorned because they're not feminist or woke enough hxshy i do love the way the show works, but i've been thinking about why certain episodes didn't make me laugh as much and why some of them made me feel like shit (s1 mostly but others too). i like to put a name to things, y'know? if there's a dissonance between how others enjoy the show and how i do it, why is that? what bothers me? sunny has its flaws and i have my sensitivities but i do still love it. i digress

if i remember correctly kaitlin once said she finds it sad how desperate dee is for her brother's approval and how she stays no matter what. i didn't reblog that post so i couldn't find it (boo hoo..) but there's also this article:

so that's the core of this relationship, right? none of them know how to be good to each other but it's particularly sad and reminiscent of the issues in my own family that dee would rather get mistreated all day than turn to anyone else. the figure of the brother, which could be a father or a grandpa or an uncle, as the source of hurt but also the only anchor, compels me! there are so many men like that out there, so many families rotting from the inside, with the patriarch refusing to change or accommodate anyone else's needs or wants. society perpetuates this (through misogyny and sexism and gender roles and various systems that are set up for men to be able to step over and abuse the women and the vulnerable people in their lives, in my opinion)

when charlie gets called stupid constantly, i don't feel protective of him (khmm mostly lol) because he's not at a disadvantage societally, he's at an advantage and that's what enables him to be able to do things like, well, stalk the waitress. when dee is called ugly and unfunny and it's thrown in her face that she's a whore but her body is also the only valuable thing about her, and her friends set up an elaborate scheme to make her so angry she snaps out of a suicidal headspace, that makes me sad and leaves a bad taste in my mouth. but i like angst and tragedy and unhealthy relationships! it's familiar, and i do think it's extremely important to discuss and find beauty in the tragic or the grotesque. and especially with topics like abuse or incest, it does survivors or people who are in similar situations absolutely no good to shame those who speak about it or who represent it in fiction, in whatever shape or form

i know from personal experience and from friends that it sets us back to police "gross" or "vile" subject matter and the behavior and self-expression of those who find catharsis or solace in that. victims of incestuous abuse are real, enmeshed families are real things, and there's a strong connection between us, because sometimes it feels like no one else gets how we live or what we feel, you know? incest is just a weird gross made-up thing to some people, something that makes them intensely uncomfortable and something they don't ever want to think about, and that's okay, it is heavy. the taboo is strong for some people, they have every right to do whatever they can to avoid thinking about it. that's what filtering on ao3 and tumblr is for!! also blocking lol. and i want to make a constant effort to respect others' boundaries. but i also think it would do everyone good to slowly shift the public attitude towards taboos, mainly for the sake of victims, and to more effectively... prevent and remedy these wounds.. i don't think it's ideal that you can't so much as mention incest, because people will accuse you of having a fetish or advocating for awful people

and here's where i want to talk a bit about myself, to hopefully help you get closer to how i see things. i am interested in fiction with incest or domestic abuse or unconventional familial relationships as themes. sunny is not something i'm typically into, supernatural or succession or dead ringers but even breaking bad feels like it's more 'me', belongs to me in a different way. before this new url, really not long ago, like a few days ago, my url was familyhell. since i'm just now involving myself with sunny bloggers/posts, people aren't going to know what kind of person i am or what kind of stories grip me and shake me to my core, but it's a pretty big part of me that i'm wrapped up in family as a topic, with all its horrors and dysfunctions, because that's what i.. live in! i don't know about your situation, you could know exactly what i mean, but i'll try to explain anyway: family is the first unit of socialization, the core of who you are, the origin of whatever is wrong with you, at least from my point of view. parents shape their children and leave marks on them that may never come off, there's a cyclical nature to family, just like how the gang's parents gave them a whole bunch of cool psychological issues that they can't shake off well into adulthood and that prevent them from improving what they have with each other lol. it's like a curse

families can keep secrets that alienate members from the outside world, they can give way to co-dependency like no other type of relationship. you don't choose family and you can't exit during the most important stages of development (and why would you want to, kids can't recognize how to solve the problem of the dysfunctional family that's dragging decades of problems behind itself, it's just too big, it's like a force of nature), so some of us can't exit later either. i've never felt as strongly, both positively and negatively, about anyone outside of my family. no one could possibly know me like my sister, she's seen everything, she knows my whole life, knows about what my dad's like, of course i view family relations as more intense and formative and damaging than anything else. it's powerful, how you grow up affects you powerfully, is what i'm trying to say

and that's the origin and the emotional background of incestuous pairings, the family as the arrow forever in your heart, the cage, but also the strongest attachment. the first and most serious love of one's life. this does not apply to everyone, of course, there are people who are shaped by friends more strongly or mentors or whoever, but i feel that it applies to me! maybe it's rare, even, for a family to be ruinous to the extent that members have trouble connecting with peers or feeling fulfilled in other types of relationships, it's okay if you can't relate. but i can't afford to spend any more time Not processing my feelings and the things that make me who i am, so i'm going to talk about sam and dean winchester sometimes and the codependency between the mantle twins and jesse's role as both a replacement son and wife to walter and i'm not going to trigger tag incest or any other heavy topics because it's integral to me. this is how i view incest in fiction and by extension, incest shipping. it's not just inserting something out of nowhere into a familial dynamic or fetishizing something horrible, i think it comes from relating to the way characters depend on each other and hurt each other. it's not coloring a fictional relationship a whole different hue (most of the time!), it's playing something up that is already there, cranking up the saturation, shining a light on the ugly parts that some of us know all too well

the post that made me think about the gang breaks dee just, made me feel like, you know, most people won't get me and they'll think i'm a freak for liking anaïs nin's diaries or for reading fanfic that upsets them or whatever. with this url and with so many silly posts about sunny, it's not obvious immediately that i'm into stuff that is unpalatable to others so i really don't hold it against anyone if they stumble in here and then decide they don't like me. i don't want to lead anyone on, have people finding out later that i gross them out, but right now i'm simply into sunny :) and it's not even a show that.. gives a lot of opportunities to notice and delve into fucked up stuff, i feel like? it's a comedy, first and foremost, yeah it gets dark but i understand why people don't latch onto the darker parts. and when they do, it's still things like the Implication or the shitty childhoods, because that's easier to process and relate to than, for example, this episode in which dennis acts invasive and controlling towards his sister and then comes to the conclusion that he needs her badly. and the whole scene has emotional music under it and is reminiscent of a confession in a romance movie, which is part of the joke but it's partially serious, because dennis means it and it says a lot about their relationship. i don't remember if dennis even said i love you to anyone seriously before this

the way dennis tries to control and subdue dee in some episodes, some scenes, some moments, might not be intended for analysis and to be taken seriously, but i think most comedies have a layer of real feelings and drama under them, and usually as the seasons go on they need to start taking things more seriously because the audience gets attached to the characters and it's no fun to watch characters who fail to go through any development at all. i'm just saying this because it's a comedy and a lot of things aren't "serious", but if we can care about and we want to care about aspects like dennis's trauma around sex and his body, i think i can also talk a bit about an incest joke and the canonical dysfunction that made the joke possible

for me, incest is not an unthinkable, rare thing, like it seems to be for the majority. it's an extreme version of real dynamics in families that are more common than one would think. parentification, co-dependency, abuse, these are like two steps away from what some would call "incest", and it's hard to define anyway.. not everyone sees a clear line between platonic love and romantic love, not everyone sees a difference in intensity either (like, that romantic would be when that person is Everything to you, while friends and family come second). it's the same love for me, family doesn't take a backseat to other types of love. the unique intimacy within a family is not unlike intimacy in other contexts

i wrote all this because i would say the bottom line is, no, i don't "ship" the twins, and i'm not a "proshipper" but i see the appeal in accentuating certain parts of their relationship. there are no pure relationships in always sunny and that's very fun for me and i love to read what people think about mac and dennis and everyone else. why i felt that i wanted to mention the gang breaks dee is because this resistance to topics that seem too ugly and morally questionable to some, it just seems hypocritical at times.. social norms say Bad Thing A is okay to talk about and to present as a nuanced topic but Bad Thing B is a big no no. i don't get this!! if no one else feels compelled by this or no one could relate to dennis's behavior in this episode, that's fine, but i did, and it kiiind of saddens and concerns me that people (in general) are more ready to accuse others of being filthy degenerates after being faced with something that disgusts them than to attempt to understand others' thoughts and feelings and motivations and inner worlds

so i wanted to mention this scene. because so many things get swept under rugs and i would love if that happened less

[Music is a very big part of my life and I’m MOSTLY INCAPABLE of writing without music, so I just thought I'd share what I am listening to while writing this]

For the longest time now I’ve debated on whether to make this a “Naked - Series” post or an “INFJese - Series”. When I write posts for the Naked Series I am able to dive deep and completely immerse, because I am able to reason through events given on the multitude of provided facts. Hence I can confidently express my opinions, while obviously trading carefully.

In this case however, I ended up going for INFJese because there is so much to unpack and ironically enough, even though they are clearly visible and meant to be so, they are also the one thing about JK we haven’t heard him discuss or ever directly allude to (except for the number “7” of course), which is an indication to just how personal they are to him. Yet, we can still make a couple of educated guesses and respectful speculation about them; about JK’s Tattooes and a bit of JM’s as well.

This post was brought about by this ask → HERE. Originally, I was just going to reply to it directly, sticking to the POLYC question. However, as I kept researching, questioning and reasoning, I had too many questions formulating and all the answers that I found kept slowly taking me back, one tattoo at a time, to the very beginning. So here we are, rambling about tattoos with a naked-series undertone, I can already tell…😬

BTS performs at the LOTTE DUTY FREE FAMILY CONCERT, which will turn out to be their last performance before they embark, for the very first time, a period of break as announced by BH in the following statement:

Jimin and J-Hope would visit our golden maknae for his birthday. JM would bring him presents, a cake, take a picture and post it on twitter on September 1, 2019. Now if you are a JKKer you will have already seen that picture, what however you may not have noticed is that, it appears that JK already had the smiley face tattoo on his finger, as pointed out by this person (don’t worry, I’ll reveal the blackout picture in a sec…)

At this point in time JK is happily enjoying his break, exercising to his heart content, potentially has his first tattoo, perhaps as a birthday present to himself. He’s also celebrated his birthday with friends, while being surprised by one particular member JM. Considering the important JK places on birthdays, and special days, I’d say that all was more than peachy in KooKooLand. 

However, as life often does, when you reach any happiness-related peak, due to happiness’ ephemeral nature, a descent/fall is bound to happen soon after. September 8, 2019 rolls around. A certain picture starts circulating and trending:

Some say it came from a 2018 picture found on pintrest (which, common now 😑 …)

Some say it came from an OP who mate JK (this is the version I tend to believe, I meddled through a lot of tweets stating this, as I think that picture is indeed JK’s hand, not so much for the ARMY tattoo, but for the 0613 one under his thumb)

Now, it is perfectly normal to go back and finish a tattoo, but this usually is, I do the frame and then take my time and do the coloring, which is what the “The hand tattoo is a representative of the members”-brigade says. However, JK’s hand tattoo has no color filling or complicated design, I believe that if writing the members name had been his intent he would have done it all in one go, as it is NOT a complicated tatt to get, and getting in parts would have made NO SENSE.  

Anyways,  this bird app is chirping and nobody seems to know where the picture came from but eventually the consensus is that it is fake because; “why the hell would JK go around with ARMY tattooed on his hand?!” like so:

And to this point all that JK might be seeing is himself trending for a tattoo he actually has and eventually we would see, not a very bothersome scenario, but most likely one he could live with, but then came September 16, 2019 well into September 17, 2019. They came in like wrecking balls. 

September 16, 2019 JK (and the members) is at Incheon airport getting ready to go to Australia to film Bon Voyage 4, and 🎶Oop! There is! 🎵 his first time publicly showing his tattoos. 

Cool right? But then, and I don't know exactly the time frame because it all seems to have happened at the same time please remember I’m a 2020 ARMY, JK is shown back hugging and drinking with  the now infamous tattoo artist Mijoo on a leaked CCTV camera footage and all hell broke loose. All sorts of speculations are made but the most popular one is that Mijoo is JK’s girlfriend and following are the actions that were instantly taken (by instant I mean 16 were the rumours. 17 the BH statement was made):

I cannot imagine what was going through JK’s mind, given that the way it appeared at the time he took off with people shook at his tattoos and landed with people outraged at him allegedly dating someone and don’t even get me started on him apologising to ARMY on the last episode of Bon Voyage 4 … let’s not get into that right now. 

I cannot imagine, but one thing that is for sure is that, going by the Churro-Pic which I think to be real, somewhere between the 8th and 16th of September he potentially added the ARMY logo (unless it was already there), the + + + and the J; the J.

The most infamous J. Because there are so many opinions about it, I think it is only fair that I should share on this post what I think about it as I really do believe it to be an afterthought. Meaning, JK went to get ARMY related tattoos on his hand (even the ARMY logo) just to display his love for ARMY (the crown and the 🥴tho … who knows, right?).

Admittedly, I’m not sure what the “+ + +” are meant to represent but a “J” is a J and this is where it gets tricky as a Jikooker. We have ZERO INFORMATION relating to what happened between September 8 and September 16. This was after jikook was together for JK’s birthday and before the whole “JK scandal”. I have ZERO INFORMATION but I do believe MY PERSONAL OPINION that something happened to make him go and add the J (and all the other hand tattoos). Following are my 3 POSSIBLE theories:

He had it all planned from the very beginning, even before getting the ARMY tattoo,  but was still hesitant on whether to have such a statement on his hand, but then decided to go ahead with it so went back to get that J. (I feel this to be highly unlikely, but who knows right?).

He wanted to add a J meaning Jungkook and when the tattoo artist asked “where would you like it?” He looked at his hand and realised, to his amusement and probably joy,  that adding it above the M, would actually make “JM” and went with it (this is very likely, but who knows right?) because he obviously was okay for it to be perceived as so. Otherwise, I’m pretty sure he would have found another location for that J  it’s not that hard. 

A mix of 1 & 2. After the ARMY tattoo, he might have eventually decided that he did want a Jimin tattoo and realised how perfectly that M was placed; almost like fate …😬 let’s not forget the seriousness with which he makes sure not to have any ring between J and M (this is the theory I personally believe, but who knows right?).

Now we don’t know the reason/s and meaning of his hand tattoos, but through the good and bad times that JK experienced during his well deserved break from August 11 to September 16, 2019, when looking at his hand, and when I say looking, I mean at first glance, I mean right in your face, I mean you don’t even have to second guess even among all the other symbols; the letters read: ARMY across. JM down. FIGHT ME.

I could go on talking about the progression of all his Tattoos up to June 18, 2022 (which is when POLYC posted the finished Tattoo reveal), but that would make this post 1300 pages long, so I’ll some space here —> [  ] just in case I do another post about the progression, or please let me know if you’d like me to do it. For now, let fast forward 3 years into 2022, so that I can finally answer the ASK 🥴. 

Now, I cannot tell you what the eye might have meant and what the time on the clock means, whereas it is a bit easier to speculate on word-tattoo, speculating on drawing-tattoo is like playing the lottery: it could literally mean ANYTHING depending on the person who got them. It would be a bit easier if JK had said even one thing about his art but it is safe to say that they are things that somehow relate to his life and things he believes in or had believed and not anymore? If I had to make an educated guess however:

EYE: Just by googling you will find this definition about the possible meaning of an eye tattoos - Depending on your chosen design, a tattoo of an eye can mean many things. There are several popular ocular pieces, including the Eye of Horus and the Third Eye. That said, in general, the eye is commonly associated with protection, guidance, knowledge, and clarity. - (from the FAQs of this site → https://www.thetrendspotter.net/eye-tattoos/). 

So he has now changed the eye into Bullet Proof. We all know the meaning of that for JK and all members in particular. In general, something bulletproof, is invincible, free from harm, so in a way a sort of protection as well. But once again … who knows right?.

CLOCK: Just by googling you will find this definition about the possible meaning of an clock tattoos  - x Generally speaking, a clock tattoo might symbolize a range of meanings from simply time to life and death, mortality, existence, infinity, endless love, stability, and structure, or referencing a specific special moment in one's life.  (from this site → https://customtattoodesign.ca/tattoo-meanings/clock-tattoo-meanings#:~:text=Generally%20speaking%2C%20a%20clock%20tattoo,special%20moment%20in%20one's%20life. )

My brother made me draw the design for his clock tattoo which he wanted to have on his shoulder. He wanted the 12, 3, 6, and 9 to be substituted with our names initials (myself, him, mom and dad) as we just so happen to have the same initial letter the devil works hard, but my parents worked harder 🙃🙃, and then he wanted the hands of time to indicated the time he was born. So I am very inclined to think that perhaps it was a special moment in his life, even his time of birth but, unless he tells us, we would never know.  

One thing I will say is that, he seems to have added a hand of time in the new version of the time, so he seems to have changed the time. In the original version it seems to be 3 o’clock, but in the new version it seems to be indeed 3:24. It could be intentional, it could be random, thought would feel weird for it to be random, in my opinion, but once again … who knows right?. 

Aaaand last but not least here is my theory with regards to Polyc_sj arm-signature-tattoo.

As we all know all members have gotten their Friendship-7 tattoo from him as shown by the signatures of the members in his studio, and even though I don’t know why Tae didn’t sign, Polyc confirmed on a live he did on the October 23, 2022 that he did indeed give Tae his tattoo, but we do not know the location they also asked about the location of Suga’s and he said it was a secret 🥴🥴🥴. I would have linked an english translation but all I could find were ones of bitter Capulets so yeah … no.

So when it comes to signatures, if it were just about having their signatures except for Tae from what we’ve seen he has them all. So my opinion is that those are the dates when both JK and JM came to do an actual piece, so: JK February 25 (2.25) & JM April 22 (4.22). February 28, 2022 will be the last time we would see Jk wearing something akin to a short sleeve, before June 18, 2022, which is why I believe that February 25 is the day JK went in to start working on his sleeve (and of course we don’t really know when the videos were taken but it after this, I couldn’t find any other T-Shirt JK pics before June).

Actually the only other one was when JayPark posted with JK, on April 19, 2022 but that was with his old tattoos, which also bring forth another point. Tattoos are made to be seen. They are personal, they are significant but also you have them on your skin because in most cases is like wearing your heart on your sleeves. So I do believe that JK kept them hidden until they were ready to tell us whatever it is he wanted the world to know, which in this case was June 18, 2022. 

And JM? Well well well. Differently from JK we haven’t seen the rest of the crescent moons yet, even though he did tell us he would show us at some point, but my believe is that Polyc might have been the one to finish the rest of the moons, which is a weird thought because he has a very different style and I am not sure how that makes sense but what I have to go on is the following:

March 13, 2022 - Permission To Dance on Stage  in SEOUL, we see JM’ new tattoos.

June 2, 2022 - Incheon Airport (returning from the USA), we spot that JM seems to have even more tattoos under the crescent moon. 

Now, we know BTS left for the USA March 28, 2022 for PTD in LV IN April where he was still pretty clothed when it came to his back. They then came back April 19, 2022 and stayed in SK until May 29, 2022 when they left to go see president Biden. The signature says 4.25, which is why I believe he might have had Polyc finish the moons on April 25, 2022, after Las Vegas, before DC. However until we see the whole tattoo it is just what it is: my speculation. 

Obviously I don’t know the relationship Polyc have with JK and JM, but him having made an actual piece on them and wanting to have a signature from two members of BTS that also seem to have a great appreciation for tattoos, seems to be plausible. In the same way that JK has POLYC tattooed on himself, probably thinking of him as the person who, as he said, saved his arm. 

But maybe there is more to the story, and if so, how are we supposed to know if the people involved don’t tell us? What I actually do think you should be asking yourself is, if Polyc really did finish JM’s crescent moon tattoos, does JM also have a POLYC signature on his back? … who knows right?.

You never thought you would ever see one of your old childhood friends on your doorstep in the middle of the night. You haven’t spoken to him in years, so you couldn’t understand why he would be here of all places.

“Takemitchy…what’re you doing here? It’s been so long”

“Y/N we need to talk, it’s important.”

You stood in the doorway looking dumbfounded. Why would Takemitchy need to talk to you about something important? Surely it’s not about gang related stuff, last you knew Takemitchy was no longer a delinquent.

“About what? What’s so important you decided to knock on my door at such a late hour? How did you even find out where I live?”

“That’s not important right now just- please Y/N we need to talk!!”

You thought it over and you came to the conclusion that Takemitchy doesn’t do things unless there’s a reason for them. At least that’s how he used to be. Reluctantly you stepped aside and let him into your apartment.

You were standing at the stove making some tea while Takemitchy was seated at your dining room table. After making awkward small talk and catching up you decided to get on to the point of his visit.

“So why are you here Takemitchy?”

“Have you seen the news recently Y/N about the gang Bonten?”

“Yes they’re on the evening news almost nightly. Why?”

“I know the leader, and so do you..it’s Mikey. Mikey’s the leader of Bonten.”

Your blood ran cold and you dropped the cup you were pouring the tea into, it shattering on the floor. You couldn’t believe, Mikey the Mikey you once knew was the infamous leader of the most dangerous gang in Tokyo. There’s no way, you refuse to believe it.

“You’re lying…there’s no way Mikey would be apart of something like that”

“I couldn’t believe it either..but it’s true! Look!”

He walks over and shows you a picture of some members of Bonten all leaving from someplace. In the back, just barely you could make him out. It was Mikey, he dyed his hair white and his eyes looked dead, they no longer shined like they once used to. And you could make out the infamous Bonten gang tattoo on the back of his neck right in the middle.

“I-I can’t believe it…how-how did this happen?” Your heart was racing and your body was shaking. “Was it all my fault? Did he turn out like this because I left?” you kept asking yourself these questions in your head, wondering if you were the cause of Mikey's downfall.

You used to run with Toman back in the day, in their prime. You were never officially a member but you might as well have been. You were at every meeting, every party, and every fight, although Mikey would never let you join in on the action so you would always cheer on the sidelines. You, Mikey and Draken were childhood friends you grew up together and they were like your two older brothers. Draken knew before either of you how you and Mikey felt for one another. He could see it in the way you guys acted around each other and the look in your eyes when you look at eachother. He was always silently rooting for you two.

You can’t remember when or how you fell in love with Manjiro Sano, all you knew was that loving him felt like what the first ray of sunshine feels like on your skin after a long and cold winter. It was like he brought you to life and you did the same for him. Slowly you noticed a change in him, a change in his attitude and personality. He was no longer the same lovable Mikey. Your suspicions were confirmed after he announced he wanted to disband Toman. Toman was his pride and joy there’s no way Mikey would let it go so easily. He kept telling you that all good things come to an end. You left after the first time Mikey and his new gang committed a crime. Mikey was no longer the same Mikey you fell in love with. You remember the hurt in his eyes and you swear that the world was silent to the sound of his heart shattering. Deep down you feel guilty to this day. You wonder, was it because you left that Mikey turned into this monster? Could you fix him and turn him back into the fun and loveable boy you fell in love with all those years ago?

“Okay Takemitchy, I’ll do it. I’ll talk to Mikey.”

The place Mikey told you to go to was a run down abandoned building. The only reason you agreed to meet here was because Naoto and Takemitchy swore they would be right around the corner in the police car. All you had to do was call them if you felt unsafe. You entered the building to find it empty. Mikey wasn’t here yet…or worse case he stood you up.

“It’s been so long, Y/N”

You turned around quickly and saw Mikey standing there. He looked so different from how you remember. Back in the shadows you saw another man with him. He had medium pink hair and scars on the side of his mouth. He looked familiar but you couldn’t remember who he was.

“M-Mikey, it’s n-nice to see you again.”

“It’s nice to see you too. I never thought I would again. I hope you don’t mind but as a precaution I need Sanzu here to pat you down before we continue this meeting.”

You couldn’t believe this was the same Mikey. He sounded so different, his voice was no longer playful and upbeat, instead it was stern and erie.

“Y-yeah sure.”

With that Mikey motioned for Sanzu to come forward. When he emerged from the shadows you recognized him instantly. Or you could say you recognized the crazed look in his eyes. It was the same one he had long ago. It still gives you chills. As he began checking you over for weapons or anything that could be a potential threat you couldn’t help but tremble, you got this feeling from him that he was a very dangerous individual.

“All clear boss.” Sanzu said when he was done.

“Thank you. You can leave us now.”

Sanzu left but not before giving you a smirk, causing your heart rate to speed up again.

“You know, I never thought I would see you again.” Mikey said to you, first to break the silence.

“Mikey..what happened to you? This isn’t the Mikey I remember.”

His eyes narrowed at you as he approached you. Unconsciously you took a step back but that didn’t stop him. He didn’t stop till he was standing right in front of you, and that’s when you were able to get a good look at him. His eyes had dark circles around them and they looked dead. You could see the sadness and emptiness in them. Eyes that were once filled with kindness and happiness. You noticed how skinny he had gotten, he must’ve stopped eating so much over the years, or maybe he didn’t feel like eating anymore. He was nothing more than a shell of who he used to be. You could almost cry seeing him now compared to what he used to be.

“I haven’t been that Mikey in many years. I’m not sure if I even remember him. The look in your face tells me you do though. I wonder what everyone else would say if they could see me now. Would they have the same look you do?”

“Mikey it’s not too late for you. You can still redeem yourself.”

He laughed cynically, “Oh Y/N there’s no redeeming qualities left in me. You know, the day you left is when I realized that no matter what, everyone is going to leave me. I lost you, my brother and my sister all before I was an adult. I kept looking for someone to blame but the only person who came to mind was myself. That’s when I knew, this is who I was meant to become.”

“ That’s not true Mikey, you-“

“I never loved someone the way I loved you, Y/N” he said, cutting you off.

“I really thought you were my saving grace, the one to make my life mean something, but then all of a sudden you left too. I don’t know why I was surprised. But something broke within me that day and that’s when I swore I would never let someone get close to me again. You see Y/N you changed me, and that’s why I need to do this.”

Before you could register what was happening, Mikey pulled out a handgun and had it pointed at your stomach.. You were frozen in place with fear, you couldn’t believe Mikey really wanted to kill you.

“M-m-mikey please, I-i didn’t mean to hurt you.” you said as tears streamed down your face as you were staring death right in the face.

“I know darling, no one ever means to hurt another,” He bent down and brought his mouth down to your ear,

“But you left me, the only person I had left, you left me alone in this world.” He whispered before he pulled the trigger, shooting you in the stomach.

For a second you didn’t believe he actually did it. Only when you looked down and saw the blood leaking from your abdomen did you finally realize what had happened. Mikey shot you, in cold blood. You fell to the ground and looked up at him.

“Mmm-mikey w-why?” You choked out.

“Because I still love you, I always will. If I can't have you in this life, maybe I can have you in another.” Your vision was becoming blurry but you were just barely able to see tears running down his cheeks.

As your body slipped into unconsciousness you couldn’t help but wonder if maybe in another life you could’ve changed the way things had happened. Maybe you would’ve had a long and happy life with Mikey like you both once used to talk about. In another life maybe you would’ve saved him.

How did Olevia know that Dai Tai is the one for her?

So, Olevia never had a serious romantic relationship before, not even a casual one, so romance is fresh to her. She had a tough time recognizing if someone's interested in her and despite how upfront Dai Tai can be, Olevia still might be oblivious to Dai Tai’s attention in the beginning. I imagine them starting off as friends, Olevia probably writes her flirtations off as being friendly or ‘that’s what friends do’ (Olevia never had close friends either growing up, people were typically in it to use her). It would’ve taken someone else to point it out to Olevia that Dai Tai is serious for the realization to hit her and Olevia would be awkward. But it’s the kind of awkwardness where she thinks she’s being the weird one when in reality it comes off as smooth so like: Olevia: says something unconsciously smooth Olevia: on the inside was that too much? Nuts, I think I over did it😖 DT: 🤪😍🥰🤩

Olevia indulges Dai Tai tentatively, this is new grounds she's discovering without her family hovering over her. However, the moment Olevia realized Dai Tai was meant for her wasn't some grandiose moment. Olevia was invited over Dai Tai's place to sleep over and they began late night talking for so long that time was nothing but a concept. Nothing sexual, just two sad people sharing space together. Realizing how vulnerable she could be without judgement and how similar their lives are, that was the moment Olevia realized Dai Tai was the one. Because we all want someone we can open our hearts too.

Funny you should ask this too, @laylaylamode and I had a conversation related to this question. I had asked them what was the difference between when Xiang and Olevia flirted with Dai Tai. They gave me permission to share it with y'all so I've copied it below, with a few edits: @laylaylamode: Whenever Dai Tai was flirting with Xiang it was always more sexual with the aim to please him. She always felt like she constantly had to remind him of her interest because she was afraid that he would become disinterested. She sought validation through his attention so her flirting was very physical and seductive. Xiang flirting back with her would get her flustered because she knew what it would lead to. But flirting with Olevia is a different game of chase. Dai Tai is used to having to be a people pleaser so this is her first time being interested in someone that doesn't have an ulterior motive. Coming on too strong could push her away and because she admires Olevia she doesn't want to disrespect her or make her uncomfortable. So when she flirts with Olevia it's based on keen observation of the little things. It could be a different hairstyle or a book she's reading, but most compliments will be on her intellect. Like a successful strategy or a shared philosophical quote. Dai Tai enjoys her company and tries to match her energy and engage her, which is a change of pace since she constantly had to prove herself to others (her mom, Xiang, etc.) So when Olevia flirts with her she MELTS. It's like that "you actually like me?" feeling where she's caught off guard. She'll blush and at a loss for word if Olevia takes charge/initiates the flirting. Dai Tai is still fragile so she knows that whatever comes from Olevia is genuine and that sparks a feeling in her heart. Olevia could wink at her and she'll freeze on the spot or blush and cover her face with a napkin. She's still a giddy romantic and she's really digging this ghost girl! Deeper into their relationship she'll evolve into cool and suave once she gets over her insecurity of being inadequate. But there are still moments 🥴 Dai Tai: do you like me…? Olevia: we're married, cher. She has high respect for Olevia and wants to be worthy of her but is afraid that her attempts for affection will be rejected. So when Olevia validates her feelings and makes her feel wanted just for merely existing, it rocks her little world ❤️

the phone call!! that was the part that i was the most excited for you all to read and i am so so happy about the response it’s received. thank you for telling me all your thoughts on it! and yeah.. once the reveal happened it all made sense. it was a mix of misunderstandings from reader and yoongi understanding very clearly, just understanding the wrong info :(( but i wanted us to see yoongi’s boundaries and codes, as well.

ok im spilling dont click read more if you dont want any main storyline spoilers (a bit of its just theories and speculation tbh)

- vogel is valentinas father? or theyre related in some way. valentinas had this whole plot where her interests are different from omegas interests. she talks of "him", a sort of shadowy form that appears to her. "he" talks about how their plan will come to fruition, and how she has to go to berlin. and she talks about how they will be reunited again. implying that not only does she know this guy, theyve met before. (and all this leads into an audio log from the da that gives me chills whenever i listen to it)

- after sam & ravenov hijack operation threshold, weaver is,, pissed. like very. (i hate hearing people yell it genuinely made me nervous hearing him like that lol) and he ends up having sam taken to have more tests run on her.. with her kicking and screaming whilst being dragged away. (thats what i was screaming about earlier)

- during the log when weaver first confronts sam; you hear something fly and impact the wall. in the second requiem radio transmission, grey swears she saw sam's diary move on its own. grey also says sam has a whole lot of aetherium in her system. enough that it would turn any other person into a zombie. but as far as she could tell, she was fine. (i guess sams got powers again 🥴🥴)

- the director is the only reason the strike team isnt being tried for fucking up threshold. weaver tells us that the whole incident has been striken from our records. as far as we're all concerned, it never happened. the thing is, why would the director care? thats something i dont really get.

- continuing in on that, i think thats 3arch's way of definitively saying we're the strike team. the game has no crew because we ARE the crew. "YOU got off lightly." "YOU do not answer to maxis." "YOU are making an impact on this fight." i think that's really cool lol

- peck & zykov are talking to each other! they cute ngl

- in an earlier audio log, when the dept heads are talking about clearing sam for field ops; her needing 4 unanimous yes...es to be cleared. carver tells weaver that if he really cares about samanthas wellbeing, he'll say no. she gets 3 yes's and 1 no. you can guess who said no.

- but the thing is; why wouldn't carver say no? he's the one who brought it up to weaver.. kinda sus ngl

- ^^ and that whole thing would bring me to the mole in requiem plot point which needs a whole other post on its own. i recommend caljitsu's 2 videos on it. he goes into alot more depth & explains it a lot better than i ever could.

- and we know sam eventually DOES get cleared for field ops because we can play as her. what's gonna happen to make weaver change his mind?

- kravchenko knows that ravenov is the mole. ravenovs been labeled an enemy of the state by omega & the kgb. hes gonna fucking die. rip bozo

- theres a good chance weavers playing a bigger part in the berlin storyline (i saw someone else talk about this dont remember who) since hes gonna be an operator, he now has an ingame model. like sam in firebase z, he might show up in a cutscene (and these next few lines are just straight speculation from me) and with the way he's acting in intel and the reveal of what happened in iran.. i dont think its a good thing for us weaver enjoyers. what im saying is something bad is probably gonna happen to him. at the hands of whom? you decide.

- kravchenko is very sussy of valentina. when gorev mentions how peck has been talking to zykov for a few months, he questions why he wasnt informed of this. gorev tells him that valentina told HIM that she would write a document and give it to kravchenko herself, which never happens.

predictions? ravenov might die, sam goes jean grey sicko mode. they kill off weaver to explain why hes never mentioned passed the first black ops game. if eddie isn't in the dark aether, then he's the director. carver's the mole in requiem. strauss & grey are just vibing. (not in that order)

i have this one smut that's been sitting in my WIP folder untouched for months. i really wanna get back to it, but i also wanna keep writing my main fics

What are your writing strengths?

i get comments praising my dialogues, world building, and ability to write angst and smut. i also feel that my writing is overall better and more captivating when i'm writing about stuff i personally relate to (which are usually pretty dark stuff, hence why i tend to write more angst 🥴). oh and i like to think that i do foreshadowing well because i outline my fics way into the future, which gives me plenty of opportunities to squeeze in said foreshadows

What are your writing weaknesses?

i write really slowly. idk how much that bothers the readers, but i feel really bad about myself that i can't write faster. i also tend to include lots of unnecessary details that drag the story, which i then have to go back and fix. so yeah, i have trouble with pacing as a whole

What are your thoughs on writing diologue in other languages in a fic?

i've never had to do such a thing before, but if i had to, i would either ask a native speaker of that language (if i can), or go with, "[Name] said in [Language]."

I’ll be honest, most of my fics have happy endings bc I’m a sucker for fluff. The one that sticks out to me most is On The Precipice, that whole fic was just the sweetest thing I have ever written.

Crossovers are really not my thing. I’ve had many people ask me to do crossovers, and I just… don’t want to, I’m sorry. They’re fun to think and talk about but actually writing it would be a lot of work and time. And I’m just not really that into it, ya know? Maybe if I collabed, I would do it. But eh.

Have you ever received hate on a fic?

Lol, yep. Wish people would keep some thoughts to themselves. It’s v easy to go read something else!

Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Oh yeah, I think I’m mostly known for my smut writing actually. As for the type? Um, sexy and funny is my niche I guess? People have told me it’s hot as hell and I mix in fluff, realism, and comedy really well. I’ll take it lol.

Sksksk uhhh probably the first thing I posted for ATLA. A fic titled Almost Lovers. It’s a lot of conflict and angst and I’m not great at writing those so… Not sure if I’ll ever write it the way I want it written.

What are your writing strengths?

I am great at dialogue and actions. And I think I’m pretty good at making people feel what the characters feel.

What are you writing weaknesses?

Hands down any kind of scene setting/world building. Just not my forte.

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

If it’s called for I think it’s fine. I’ve done it before for a bilingual character, and I make sure to translate correctly. (Of course if it’s not, feel free to let me know so I can fix it!) I don’t do complex sentences in hopes it’s not translated wrong.

I’ve read lots of fics with other languages too, and I like it when the author includes the translations at the bottom :)

What was the first fandom you wrote for?

Fairy Tail! I miss it sometimes.

Ooooh, tough one. I enjoy my writing, I like to go back and read it myself. I’d say my faves are On The Precipice and Happily Ever After. They’re fluffy and sweet and slow burn. I’m really proud of them!
