I’m Back and Have a New Tattoo

I’ve been a bit absent on here (not that I post a lot but still) because I’ve been on my trip and it’s been so fun but I’m exhausted and ready to go home if I’m being honest. I’m a creature of habit and I’m not ashamed to admit that the flight here and the time change really took a toll on my body. I definitely want to come back, but I need a minute if that makes sense.

Anyway, the highlight of my trip was by far getting a tattoo from PolyC. I can’t believe I actually did it (I’m a scaredy cat) and that I got to meet someone who is friends with Jimin and Jungkook. He said they are very kind. 🥹 I will post a picture of my tattoo and say that I’m extremely excited for Muse and Are You Sure so I plan on being more active once the inevitable jet lag wears off.

The making of the SEVEN MV was released some hours ago.

I've watched it a few times in succession and loved seeing JK having so much fun. The stunts especially would have been a hoot for him because we know he loves anything with a hint of danger.

Which explains why he adores JM. That boy's death stare could maim you from across a room...

...and his smoulder is even more lethal.

To say nothing of his sass. If you need salt for the wounds you're already nursing, just stick around for a little of JM's trademark eye rolling.

Any ordinary mortal would be limping and bruised by now and we haven't even made it past Jimin's face. The rest of him is equally hazardous ...

But I digress.

So, back to the topic at hand. And that is in fact the topic. JK's hand. Specifically the tattoos on his hand.

I took so many screenshots of that 'making of', I have fiĺled my camera roll with blurry images of those tattoos. Every time the ink was visible, I clicked.

And here's my news ... those tats have been touched up. Okay, it's not really news. We know he has to be having them redone regularly, especially with the abuse his knuckles take with boxing. I don't have hand tats but my ride or die bestie does and hers need redoing every few months.

Although the lighting in the MV is low, it's still easy to see that some of the letters stand out more than others. It definitely looks like the J&M have very recently been redone. This is also not big news, we saw it before during his trip to Qatar.

BUT.

I can't help wondering about the timing. Did he make sure he did that just before the MV shooting, because he knew the female character would stir up rumours?

I also wonder... is part of the reason he chose to have these tats done on his hands (as opposed to elsewhere) because you cannot avoid looking at them?

His hands are such a focus, not only for him but for anyone watching him. They move constantly, so you can't NOT see 'JM' there, emblazoned on his ring finger like a sigil.

But even though I think that could be true, I'm certain the primary reason is symbolic. And romantic, of course because its JK.

I can't think of anything more profoundly sincere than having another person's initials inked into your skin, especially on the finger that would carry a wedding ring ...if it was allowed.

That ink is a love letter both to yourself and to the person you name there. It speaks of a passion that burns so brightly it outshines any other that could ever come along. That ink is a commitment that binds more permanently than any social ceremony. Your lover's identity is etched into your skin, and it will be there for the remainder of your lifetime and beyond.

It would take someone fearless and determined and unwavering to do something so unequivocal.

And surely they would only do it for a most precious person...for the love of their life.

Tkkrs calling the military (!!!) fanservice to explain why Jungook enlisting to that program with Jimin "has to be forced and not his own choice" is next level insane (as if he didn't have months to prepare and had other options, as if he didn't have other camps to go to yet chose to go to the same one Jimin goes to) and is something I never imagined I'll see at this stage. They don't care about Tae, Jimin or Jungkook they only care about themselves and their selfish demands and i'm shocked how hurting the members with this type of talk is something they couldn't give a damn about. And it's extra laughable because who does fanservice in the military? who can force a government into something as pathetic as this? it's not even a thing.

Death threats over a trip to Japan.. trying to jail someone for daring to go to a military program with someone he cares about and a close friend..Enough is enough

It's very sad that in the last weeks with the four of them people are still trying to manipulate and twist facts so they can sleep better at night without caring about their faves choices. Using their military service to attack their own decisions and friendships is a new low.

Jimin decided to break the internet and blow up my notifications while I was at work. 😭 I have so many GCs and DMs to catch up on. Jikook are just always jikooking huh? Did JK take his shirt off for the photo?? Lmao it's still wrapped around his arm. I just KNOW they got one facing the camera too. Probably have one with JKs arm around Jimins waist here right under his moons too 👀 Jimin, share it with us!!

do you think its Jimin ? I used to belive it but when he came and said it's just his name + army I believed him. I think he placed it on M to make it look symmetrical? I mean he already had crown tattoo and army and 🥴 on middle finger. So the very next symmetrical option is on ring finger 🤔. I don't think it being on ring finger matters much as it's not even his left hand. Also isn't the gap between J and M a lil big for it to be JiMin ?. He was just 22 when he got it, again too young to tattoo your partner's initial especially a male, in a homophobic country.

Maybe it’s Occams Razor or maybe I’m putting a tin hat on, but regardless, I can’t see the J above the M meaning anything other than Jimin. And while you were questioning if it was “too big” to be for Jimin. Jimin goes by JM. That’s a fact. Jungkook paraded himself in JM balloons to JM himself on that pajama party episode of Run BTS. And it’s jimins instagram handle. It’s his initials and has been associated with him for a long time.

And questioning Jungkook’s age? He’s a bold, serious, and at times impulsive type. His favorite thing to do is show off Jimin and gush over him. (See above)

Jungkook debunked the all member theory that never made sense anyway because he got Army tattooed before the J. Also adding only one letter to represent 3 people? Silly. He did say that the J was for Jungkook but like what else could he say? You admitted that Korea is homophobic so it’s not like he could say the J was for Jimin but it’s also conveniently over the M. Anon your point about it not being the left hand too is also silly and it’s viewing marriage traditions from a western lens. Either hand works in Korea and JK’s tattoos are on his right hand so yeah if he’s going to add the J above the M for Jimin that’s the hand it has to go on. But that doesn’t mean less. A tattoo is permanent and on a prominent place like a hand is a huge commitment and display of affection. So yes, Jungkook or JM “you are me I am you” anyone? He also never acknowledged that it’s above the M he glazed over that placement super fast. You can explain it away any way that you want anon, but if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck then it’s probably a duck….

If it looks like JM and JM stands for Jimin then it probably stands for Jimin. Which isn’t that much of a reach if you ask me considering the strength and intimacy of their bond throughout the years.
