Feelings
Arcane. Yes. More brain rot as if I didn't have enough already.
Summary: Young!Silco x reader, Silco confesses to a certain extent when reader is drunk and very unlikely to remember the confession
You're a fighter, he knows that well. Those who lived in the underground tended to be such, for survival's sake. You're a survivor, he knows that well. You were still alive after all, and that was the mark of a survivor. So why did his chest tighten every time he saw you do a dangerous thing he knew you'd done a thousand times before? Why did his heart jump to his throat every time he saw you fight?
Why did his stomach flutter every time you looked back at him?
As you downed yet another glass of your favourite drink, the familiar smell wafting from your breath, he feels his throat constrict at the closeness of it all. Your free hand is mere inches away from his own hand, fingers tapping on the wooden counter top of the bar, your shoulder brushing against his. If he concentrates hard enough, he swears he can feel your warmth, then again it might be the chill of the night playing tricks on him. Still, it doesn't take away the fact that you are so close to him, knocking back shot after shot.
"How many?" Vander asks, gesturing towards you.
"Not enough," you slur, shoving the now empty cup towards him.
"Eight," Silco answers without hesitation, reaching over to take the cup away.
"Not enough," you mumble again, clumsily grasping for your cup.
"I think otherwise," Silco frowns, passing the cup to Vander who leaves the two of you alone to start cleaning up the bar. It's about time The Last Drop closes anyways, and Vander knows it's easier for his brother to talk openly to you when he isn't around. Felicia sends Vander a knowing wink and continues pretending to not eavesdrop on the juicy conversation, but fails to hide her growing smile. Vander huffs in amusement and decides to give the two some privacy, grabbing the woman's arm and gently hauling her away, much to her annoyance.
"You've had enough for tonight," Silco sighs, trying to drag you off the stool to which you stubbornly cling.
"Nooooo!" You whine, pouting at him which causes the butterflies in his stomach to go off at an alarming rate. Still, he finds a way to overcome that weakness, if only for a moment, and properly yanks you away. You stumble into him, head smacking into his shoulder and he grunts.
"You're heavy," he grumbles, slinging your left arm over his shoulder.
"I'm not heavy, you're heavy," you cackle, clearly thinking your comeback is very clever. He rolls his eyes, wondering why he even bothers sometimes but then he sees the way your eyes crinkle as you laugh and his heart melts again. He starts to make his way to the spare bed in his and Vander's shared apartment, the route familiar due to the number of times he's hauled your drunk self there. You stumble every now and then, groaning at the headache that's starting to kick in and nearly smack him in the face for some unknown reason but Silco still gets you to your destination, dropping you unceremoniously on the bed.
"Don't move," he says sternly, going to the wardrobe to take a fresh set of clothes for you.
"Hehe." He can hear you giggle, and from the way your giggles start to become muffled, he's pretty sure you've gone ahead and moved anyways. He sighs, shaking his head and turns around with your clothes draped over his arm to find that you've started rolling around on the bed. It's amusing, to see you drunkenly try to wrap yourself in the blanket as you roll about but then that feeling quickly gets replaced by fear when you roll off the bed and hit the floor with a yelp of pain.
He rushes over immediately, your clothes haphazardly thrown onto the bed and unwraps you from your blanket tangle, checking you over for any injuries. Fortunately, there's none aside from a bruise that is sure to form on your forehead where the floor had come up to meet it, and Silco is relieved. Not that he would ever tell you that, of course.
He helps you back onto the bed, listening as you whine about how your head hurts even more now and holds himself from flicking you in the forehead. Right now, he needs to ensure you don't throw up all over yourself and that you wake up tomorrow with as little issue as possible. Luckily, tonight you've decided to be cooperative, so it doesn't take long for Silco to change you into your new set of clothes and get you to lie down on the bed without rolling around.
"M sorry."
"For?"
"Everything."
"Everything?" He frowns, trying to recall a reason for you to be like this. You take it the wrong way and curl into a ball, shying away from him. He reaches out but you pull away, shaking your head.
"You always have to clean up after me," you mumble sadly. "I'm such a burden."
"Don't you dare say that about yourself!" Silco snaps, and immediately regrets it as you skitter as far away from him as the bed allows. He takes a deep breath, pushing the anger he feels at himself for not noticing your feelings earlier and centers himself. He has to rectify this mistake, make you see yourself the way he sees you, if only so that he can see a smile on your face again tonight.
"You're not a burden," he says, gently taking your hand.
"As if," you mutter, but don't let go of his hand.
"I mean it. I clean up after you because I —" The words get lodged in his throat. He swallows, and tries again. "I — I care for you."
There. It's out now. The reason why he always steals glances at you, the reason why he's always chiding you, the reason why he gets all worried whenever you throw yourself into danger without a care in the world.
Nobody cares if we live or die, you had said before, we're but specks of dust to Piltover, lost to the wind forever if we die and insignificant if we live.
But we are not. We're just as human as they are, he'd replied.
And that's why there's that dream of Zaun, isn't it? Your smile had lit the murky grey of the underground up. A toast, to a Zaun reality.
A toast. That was the first time he had seen you drunk, and you'd nearly fallen into the waters below. Silco had caught you just in time, staring into the depths of your eyes and saw the fire that burned behind them despite how drunk you were.
"You're special to me, in a different way from Felicia and Vander." He knows you won't remember this conversation, and that brings him a small comfort, even if there's a part of him that wants you to remember it. You look up at him, taking in the way his gaze softens, feel his hand give yours a squeeze, and feel a fuzzy feeling in your chest that's definitely not from the alcohol.
"Special," you echo. He gives you a nod, silent but encouraging. You squeeze his hand back, liking the way the word rolls off your tongue, but you like the way his name rolls off your tongue better.
"Silco," you say, unsure of what to follow the word up with. He raises an eyebrow, and huffs with amusement when he sees the way you struggle to keep your eyes open. The alcohol is catching up with you, it's only a matter of time before you knock out and this night will be lost to the wind.
"Stay, please." You whisper, feeling sleep tugging at your body.
"Always." It's a promise not just for tonight, but for the rest of your lives, whether you know it or not.
Always.

MAJOR ARCANE SPOILERS
bro im lowkey mad at vi, like congrats on ur sesbian lex i enjoyed it but
when jinx left the jail cell all suicidal and very clearly planning to kill herself, vi was frustrated but then cait came and opened the cell for vi and cait is all “i just saw someone walking by…” and instead of vi immediately going after her suicidal sister, she goes “i dont fucking care” and fucks cait.
then at the end of s2 vi looks at the warwick and starts cryin about vander, and jinx is literally like “girl, hes gone lets go like jump outta there…”
THEN JINX DIES(?) TRYING TO SAVE VI’S DUMBASS
i wanted the sisters to bond more. not this. vi had the family she still had right behind her but she was stuck on vander who was long gone.
at least i got some timebomb with ekko saving jinx instead, which i might actually prefer now that i think of it.
idk i just finished the season, so ill let it settle but just my thoughts right now i needed to get it out
#jinx probably isnt dead tho cuz we didnt see her dead body#caitvi#vi arcane#jinx arcane#timebomb#arcane s2#arcane spoilers#arcane s2 spoilers#arcane

Since I'm on an arcane therioes kick here's another one
Jinx is going to mellow out because of Isha and since she's a symbol of the people now she's going to want help [whether it's emotional or practical] and since she sees her sister spiraling she's gonna try and initiate a new bonding moment. [She’s a dick though and vi is all fucked up so prolly won't work the first time] Jinx is also gonna have words with Ekko because let's be real the only legit revolutionary in this show is Ekko. He's been about his people from the jump.
They are going to have to work together because hextech is still fucking up the tree[whatever it touches] and ambessa is using caitlyn to do more wild ass shit [before caitlyn finally gets her shit together. She likely almost dies and Vi saves her]
When shit hits the fan and all of piltover and undercity are under attack from black rose everyone comes together to fight the powerful ass magic users [Salo is the one who helps black rose get a foothold in piltover to start some shit]
I'm a little worried jinx might die because her character to going to go from one extreme [murder and destruction] to another [saving my people from enforcer hell] but let's hope that's not the case.
Mel's gonna be missing for awhile but she escapes the black rose and finally figures out how to fight [likely she'll have some sort of magic and the reveal about her gold armor that protected her and jayce will be brought up] but I know she's gonna get her ass beat again by Salo cuz she clearly had ZERO self defense from the fake enforcer guy during the memorial killing spree.
Jayce is gonna crash out cuz he lost his bestfriend and his girlfriend cuz he's not gonna know where Mel is. He's gonna cave and make more hextech weapons for Ambessa's army because he's hoping she'll use it to find Mel or at least kill whoever took her. Ambessa will likely tell jayce it's the only way they can win the fight find Mel Yada yada.
Ambessa will obviously have glorious fight scenes but Mel is prolly gonna do something to fuck her up I mean she knows Ambessa is trying to use hextech for her own reasons and she's definitely not going to like that her mom manipulated jayce to get what she wanted while Mel was fighting for her life with the black rose people
Viktor is gonna meet back up with the scientist guy and will prolly be the key to making Vandor [Warwick] work for some reason. Idrk much about Warwick but I'm sure he's still gonna have some on vanders' memories and will try to help vi/jinx when they get into a sticky situation. I don't think he's gonna come into the picture until the 3rd act or the very last episode of the second. Viktor is also prolly the reason the arcane start waking back up because he's merged with the hexcore and something about that magic is revitalizing the arcane.
Sevika is prolly gonna die. I think she's gonna try to save jinx from some crazy ass plan she has and won't make it. Pretty sure whatever plan jinx makes will happen because something happens to Isha. Idk what what though, maybe she dies, she gets hurt, kidnaped idk But Isha is the thing keeping her steady so yeah they are gonna fuck with jinx by hurting Isha in some way.
Now i know this is the final season for arcane but I don't think it'd the end of arcane as a whole so the magic arcane users will be a bigger plot point for a new story in the future. Maybe the final battle scene is only between the black rose people and piltover/zaun and they think everything is good now but the arcane people have some end credits bs where we know it's going to be morwohappening in this universe. The arcane will likely make a legit appearance in the end and even though they are the big bag they won't be the big bad for this storyline.
#lets wait and see if anything i said actually happens#arcane season 2#arcane theories#jinx#vi#Ekko#mel medarda#jayce talis#ambessa medarda#salo arcane

Still Sisters: Arcane Fanfic one shot
*I have thought a lot about what Jinx must have gone through in her decision to leave. Because although I think she knew it was best for her and Vi, I think she knew what believing she was dead would do to Vi as well. And even though we didn't get to see anything, I refuse to believe after all the healing she and Vi had been through as sisters that she wouldn't care about that at all. So here's my poorly written coping haha*
I saw what was happening to Vi before she even felt it.. I think.. She didn't respond when i called for her to move and at first, I just thought maybe she was stunned from the fall. But I saw her eyes.. saw her laser focus on Vander even with the world falling apart around us.. saw her hands shaking violently, and for a horrible moment I saw her the way I saw her that day so many years ago, over his body in the street and I knew.. She couldn't hear me. Because as she held our dad's head in her arms she was back in that terrible alley.. on that terrible night...
Then he attacked and.. fuck.. she sounded like she did when we were kids.. she sounded so afraid, my sister afraid I.. I knew what I had to do even before I started running. Vi had fought for everyone our entire lives. I would die before failing her when she needed someone to fight for her.
I really thought that was it. I was okay with it.. going out that way. making sure Vi got a second chance. I even think I could see a-little of Vander in that face as we fell. But... just before the bomb went off I saw that vent. I can't explain it, why I jumped. I just.. I heard Ekko's voice in my head,
"no matter what happened in the past.. it's never too late to build something new.."
I don't know how I got free of his grip. I don't know if there was something of him left, something that held on enough to give me one last chance but, he let me go. I dove into the tunnel just as the explosion went off in a roar of flame and smoke...
I lay there trying to catch my breath and that's when I heard her.. heard Vi screaming. S-screaming for me... fuck the pain in her voice I knew I could solve it, knew all I had to was go back up and that scream like her soul was rending would stop and she could be okay. But I stopped myself... I'm Jinx. In every street-corner of Zaun they expect a revolutionary. Silco's mad daughter! The last heir of Vander since Vi committed the oh-so-terrible crime of being locked up without cause and falling in love with a Top-Sider. And in Piltover, well... If I stayed, Vi would never know peace. She and Caitlyn's lives would be consumed by the consequences of everything I'd done.. One way or another we'd be dragged into fighting again and I won't do it. Not to them, or to me.. I can't stay.. and if I go and she knows, she might not be able to stop herself from turning on her back on the happiness she deserves. I won't take that from her. Never again.. I'm so.. so sorry Vi. I love you more than I think you ever really could understand, and I'll be back some day.
***Later that night, a private hospital room after the battle****
Violet and Caitlyn Kiramman sleep in their hospital beds, side by side. The light is low. A cool breeze drifts through the open window.. A cloaked figure stands quietly over Vi's sleeping form and presses a gentle kiss on her bruised cheek, before vanishing out through the window into the night air.
"always with you sis... even when we're worlds apart"..

ARCANE S2 SPOILERS!!!
****
I cannot be the only one who cannot fathom how people even blame Vi for Jinx's death.
"She could've jumped onto the other ledge." My guy she did not look okay.
I do think this is something the writers could have done better, and I really wish they actually went into Vi's traumas and mental health issues, because we know she has a mental illness similar to Jinx's (I don't rlly want to put a label onto it) but the writers barely touch upon it and so the audience don't have a good understanding of how it affects her. I think that's why so many people sympathise with Jinx, but because it's not really touched upon with Vi its not something they consider like they do with her sister.
She's clearly not I the right state of mind, I don't think she had been for the whole season and whether it's something intentional or not it's glaringly obvious.
At this point she had lost Vander two times ALONE, obviously she's going to try and reach out because that's incredibly in character for her.
She literally gets a flashback, PTSD or not (which she definitely has) this should show that hmm maybe she isn't in the best state of mind rn so she might do something in a way to comfort herself (aka cling onto her father figure). Vi and JINX had just fought him too, that's going to do some damage yk.
This is the one time her trauma actually kicks in and she loses her last family members because of it. She isn't acting like this for giggles yk, and people will critique her for trying to hold onto Vander when he's gone but again, she isn't in the right state of mind.
Anyway thanks for reading if you did, really needed to get that off my chest 💀💀
#violet arcane#arcane s2#people need to stop criticising her for responses that are very easily explained#Give her a BREAK#jinx arcane#vander arcane#I'm so fed up of it#Give Vi her family back#Don't get me started on the ending as well#She's very clearly not okay guys 💀💀#arcane s2 spoilers#spoilers /

I’m finally back with Chapter 4 of my Arcane reader insert fanfic, Sisters of Mine. Thank you all for being so patient with me. I would definitely recommend reading previous chapters to get caught up.
Chapter 1
Chapter 2
Chapter 3
Summary: Takes place during the timeskip (between ep3-4). Ekko tries making a new life for Reader (Y/N) while trying to rescue Powder.
Warnings: portrayal of mental illness, uses Y/N throughout, POV changes, I only reread this once so there might be some small spelling errors sorry
Words: 6,211
Sisters of Mine
Chapter 4
3rd POV
Ekko watches as Y/N finally tires herself out from crying and slumps against the boy. He sighs, sniffling wetly as he glances at Vander’s lifeless, hulking body. He sees the purple veins covering his exposed skin. Ekko winces slightly at the black eye that’s swollen shut before finally spotting the 3 stab wounds to his chest. While he wasn’t as close to Vander as the others were, Ekko certainly felt like Vander was another father figure for him and Vander had often told Ekko that he was his kid as well.
Ekko’s thoughts wander to Vi and Powder. Seeing Vi get taken by an Enforcer, Ekko’s almost certain Vi will be killed. And Powder….the man with her…the man with the eye. Silco. The one who ruined everything. Ekko remembers seeing how he embraced Powder. As if he connected with her on some level. He has to save Powder, Ekko thinks to himself. Ekko shifts Y/N so he stands while holding her against his body. She limply lays her head on his shoulder with her arms draped over his shoulders with his arms wrapped protectively around the little girl. Ekko glances around before deciding to go back to the Last Drop.
Ekko’s POV
As I hold Y/N in my arms, I glance around before deciding to head back to the Last Drop, assuming that Silco took Powder to wherever he must’ve been before confronting Benzo. The Last Drop would be empty now. I hurry back but stop and hide in an alleyway that faces the bar. I see some of the people Silco had with him out front as he walks through the front door with Powder in his arms.
“Guess that’s off-limits now,” I whisper to myself. All of Y/N’s stuff was in the bar. I guess I have to go back home. I’m greeted with Huck pacing outside the front door. He spots us and hurries over.
“There was an explosion-“ Huck tries telling me, but I nod, cutting him off.
“I know,” I say.
“What happened?” He asks nervously, but I shake my head sadly. He frowns.
“I’m…sorry,” Huck says, understanding what’s happened.
“But you should leave. Silco’s men have been scouring the place. It’s only a matter of time before he comes here,” Huck warns me. I nod in agreement.
“I just need a few things-“ I say, gently setting Y/N down.
“Where are you going to go?” Huck asks as I pack my canvas bag full of tools, the remaining food and money Benzo had, blankets, a change of clothes for Y/N, and my stopwatch.
“I’m…not sure. Are you leaving?” I ask.
“N-No…no, I think I’m going to see who else is left,” Huck responds.
“Take care of yourself Huck,” I tell him, offering a hand. We shake and Huck nods.
“You too,” he says, glancing at Y/N. He walks out, shutting the door behind us. I slip my arms through the straps of my bag before bending down to pick Y/N up. She mumbles and stirs in her sleep as I shift her in my arms before heading out.
Reader POV
I gasp awake, jolting up from being slumped against a wall. I look around and see I’m in an alleyway. I’m confused. Why am I outside? Did the others get Vander? Wait—I remember…fire. A building was on fire. I remember hearing Powder crying…Vi…Vi yelled at her and-and…hit her. Vi never hits us. Never—but..Vander…and the boys. Was that real or a nightmare? That’s when I hear a pounding sound. I get up and hurry around the corner. I see Ekko nailing up boards on the windows and across the doorway to the pawnshop.
“Ekko?” I ask timidly. He jumps slightly but when we make eye contact, he turns sad.
“Y/N—I…I’m so sorry,” Ekko says and I realize that everything that happened….really happened. It wasn’t a nightmare. I let the tears fall down my cheeks.
“I’ll take care of you, Y/N. I won’t let anything happen to you, I promise,” Ekko assures me, pulling me in a hug. I cry a bit before I’m able to take some shallow breaths.
“Don’t leave me..please,” I whimper.
“Never, I promise,” Ekko says before I pull back and he grabs his pack off the ground.
“C’mon, we should move before Silco finds us,” Ekko says, offering me a hand. I take it and we start walking through the maze of alleys.
“Silco…” I repeat the name as we walk.
“Was that the man with Pow-pow?” I ask and Ekko nods.
“He took her, just like Marcus took Vi,” Ekko says.
“How do we get them back?” I ask the older boy and at first, he doesn’t answer. Instead, he looks away.
“I…don’t know. First we need a safe place to regroup. Enforcers will be swarming the Lanes any second now with the Sheriff dead,” Ekko says.
It doesn’t take long for the Enforcers to show up. Ekko holds me back against the wall so a passing Enforcer doesn’t see me and I nod my thanks. We make it to a dead end.
“Where do we go?” I ask.
“Here,” Ekko says, opening a grate. I silently crawl inside and he follows me.
The space opens up and we move through pipes, alleys and rooftops until we get to a place I don’t recognize. I’ve hardly been outside the Lanes anyways so I haven’t seen much of the Undercity, not like the others.
“We’re almost there,” Ekko tells me as I start panting. His shirt and forehead is sweaty but he doesn’t seem tired.
“Do you know where we are?” I ask.
“I’ve been here a couple times with Benzo. He knows some thrifters around this part of the Undercity. But, he’d always take me to this particular spot,” Ekko explains.
We slip in between 2 buildings and that’s when the space opens up to a huge area with…something brown and green in the center. As we walk in, the air becomes sweeter, lighter…cleaner, compared to the rest of the Undercity. My eyes widen and I stare in awe at it.
“Ekko…what is that?” I ask, pointing up. The light looks spotty since the green things block it.
“It’s a tree. Benzo said it’s the last tree in the Undercity. Most people don’t really know about this place since most of the buildings around here are abandoned,” Ekko tells me. I squeeze his hand at the mention of Uncle Benzo.
“Is this our new home?” I ask.
“It needs some work, but this place is ours,” Ekko nods. I smile but it turns sad when I think about my old home. The Last Drop.
3rd POV
Ekko slips his arms out of the straps and puts the canvas pack on the ground.
“Here, you should eat,” Ekko tells Y/N, fishing through the bag before pulling out a cloth tied at the corners. He undoes the loose knot and Y/N sees 2 golden biscuits and her mouth waters. Y/N takes one and Ekko takes the other. The two find a large rock to sit on and they start eating the slightly old biscuits Benzo made. They’re just glad to eat. Ekko swallows his bite before tears form in his eyes. Y/N looks up and notices. Ekko sniffles wetly and wipes his wrist against his eyes.
“Ekko?” Y/N asks, concerned for her older brother.
“I just…he made these for breakfast 2 days ago…Now that Benzo’s gone…these biscuits were the last thing he made,” Ekko says and Y/N suddenly freezes, not taking another bite.
“O-Oh…here, you can have mine,” Y/N says, offering her biscuit to Ekko, despite the bite mark in it.
“No-No I just…I’m sorry. Besides I can’t eat alone…we’re sharing his last meal together,” Ekko tells Y/N, who smiles and nods.
Almost a month has passed since everything happened. The first few days for everyone felt like a dream…no…a nightmare. Only Ekko and Y/N seem to be doing relatively alright compared to Vi and Powder. Ekko and Y/N built a small enclosure inside the base of the tree, supporting the roots with wooden boards and scrap metal. Y/N still asks every day about Powder and Vi and sometimes, Ekko doesn’t know what to say. During the first night alone, Ekko left Y/N to go try and get Powder back, but he was spotted by one of Silco’s guys. A large, muscular, pale man with almost gray skin and covered in tattoos had caught Ekko trying to sneak in through a vent shaft on the side of the building. Ekko barely got away and decided he should be looking after Y/N instead. If anything happened to Ekko, Y/N would be all alone. And he promised the girl he wouldn’t leave, ever.
The kids are inside their makeshift hut. Y/N is coloring while Ekko lays on the pile of blankets they use as a bed.
“Ekko?” Y/N asks, getting the boy’s attention.
“Hm?”
“I know you said you were gonna wait to get Pow-pow, but what about Vi?” Y/N asks and Ekko looks uneasy.
Ekko’s POV
“But what about Vi?” Y/N asks me and I look uneasy. It’s not like Y/N hasn’t asked about Vi but Powder has been closer, and all I know about Vi is that she’s somewhere topside. If she’s even still alive. Maybe that Enforcer, Marcus, killed her and left her somewhere. I try to push that thought away.
“I..I know we have to get her too. But she got taken by Marcus, remember?” I ask Y/N, wondering if she remembers everything from that horrible night. She nods sadly and my heart breaks for her.
“I…was planning to see if anyone knows anything…you know, ask around,” I explain. Y/N gasps and a wide, excited smile spreads across her face.
“N-Now Y/N-I..I don’t wanna get your hopes up-“ I try to tell Y/N as gently as I can.
“Someone must’ve seen them leave-“ Y/N insists.
“Hopefully, but I can’t promise anything-“ I tell her and she nods.
“Let’s go right now-“ she says, tossing her colors down on the floor.
“I need you to stay here where it’s safe,” I tell her and that’s when I see her eyes widen and a far away look shines in her eyes.
“No! NOOO!!! You can’t leave me!! You promised!” She suddenly exclaims as tears start streaming down her face. A familiar memory of Powder suddenly freaking out makes me see the similarities between the two younger sisters.
“Y/N? Y/N! It’s ok! If you promise to do everything I say, no questions asked, I’ll let you come,” I insist.
“R-Really?” She asks, sniffling, wiping her nose. I nod.
“I promise,” she says seriously and holds out her pinky. I smile and lock my own with hers before taking my shirt and wiping away the tears still covering her cheeks.
“Ok, I know a couple people we can ask,” I tell her. She looks at me curiously.
“Jericho, and maybe Margot,” I explain and she nods. There are others but I’m sure they wouldn’t use the same level discretion. And we can’t have word going around.
“C’mon, stay with me,” I tell her and we head out. I lock the door with the padlock I found rummaging through the scrap heaps. I keep the key on a chain.
We walk through the streets until we pass the Last Drop. It’s a bit of a walk now but it’s safer for Y/N being farther away. Jericho’s isn’t far, just across the block. I’m holding Y/N’s hand until her smaller hand slips out of mine. I look back and feel slight anxiety rise until I see she’s just…standing…staring. I wonder for a moment what she’s looking at until I follow her gaze and see a familiar head of blue hair. I freeze in shock, just as Y/N is until I feel my legs running towards her. It’s her! Powder! And Silco is with her!
“Wait for me!” I hear Y/N call after me. I slow to a stop. Because they’re walking away, they don’t see us.
“Powder?” I ask. She freezes and stiffens. I hear Y/N catch up and feel her cling to my side. A silent moment passes as Powder slowly turns around. My eyes widen and sadness washes over me when I see tears forming in Powder’s muddy blue eyes.
“Jinx? What’s wrong?” Silco asks Powder.
Reader’s POV
“Jinx? What’s wrong?” The man with Powder asks her. I gasp and my eyes widen.
“J-Jinx?” I ask and it’s like she just now notices me. I let go of Ekko’s pant leg and hurry towards my older sister until Ekko puts a hand on my shoulder, stopping me.
“Who are they Jinx?” The man…Silco…asks. She looks at me, then at Ekko before shaking her head!
“I don’t know,” she replies, grabbing hold of the thin hand outstretched to her. My eyes widen and tears form in my eyes. I pull out of Ekko’s grip and take a few steps towards my older sister.
“Pow-pow-it’s me-“ I insist. “C’mon-“ I reach out my hand to her. I flinch when she immediately steps away, pulling her hand back. What? Why?! Why isn’t she coming?! I don’t understand! I feel the tears start to slip out of the corners of my eyes.
“Powder! It’s us! Tell her!” I cry to Ekko, pulling on his arm, but that’s when I see he has his own tears streaming down his face.
“I’ve never seen them before,” Powder says to Silco.
“Stay away from my daughter-“ Silco snaps at me and Ekko instinctively steps in front of me protectively.
I watch as the two walk towards the bar’s front door.
“Powder! Please! Come back!! Come BAAAACK!!!!” I plead, sobbing. I try racing after them, but Ekko grabs hold of me. I look back and see that he’s crying too.
“We have to go!” Ekko orders. I turn back and see that Powder and Silco are gone. The door opens and two people stare right at us, walking towards us.
“Now!” Ekko snaps, picking me up as I cry. Ekko eventually has to set me down and pulls me along as we run. I glance behind us every now and then, but I don’t see anyone following us.
We round a corner and hide in a small alley that’s basically all pipes and duck behind a giant rusted out pipe. The two following us run by and Ekko sighs with relief.
“C’mon, let’s go back,” Ekko tells me and I nod, still thinking about what Powder said. I follow him as we step out of our hiding spot and we hurry back to our hideout. I have to wipe my eyes every so often.
Once we get back inside, I look at Ekko.
“Why? Why did Powder say that? Why didn’t she come with us?” I ask, still crying.
“I…I don’t know,” Ekko admits, just as confused as I am.
“Powder doesn’t love me anymore!” I cry.
“No! No Y/N-Powder just…had to say that. Silco was with her. Who knows what he does to her…what he says to her,” Ekko assures me. I sniffle and pull back to look at my older brother.
“R-Really?” I ask timidly, hiccuping slightly.
“She’s your sister Y/N. Powder will always love you, no matter what,” Ekko tells me, squeezing me slightly as he says that.
“And I’m here. I won’t let anything happen to you. I’ll always be here for you,” Ekko adds, gently stroking the back of my head lovingly. Meanwhile…
Silco’s POV
“Stay away from my daughter,” I growl at the two kids after seeing how distressed my newly adopted daughter looks. Holding the blue-haired girl’s hand, I walk her inside the bar, hearing the cries of the younger kid as the door closes. I hear crying and look down. What started as quiet sniffling has evolved to a sobbing mess.
“Jinx? Jinx, it’s ok. I’m here for you,” I assure her, kneeling down and offering open arms. Powder, now calling herself Jinx, immediately wraps her scrawny arms around me tightly and cries. Knowing not to ask her anything, instead I think back on what happened. Those kids didn’t say any names or any useful information, but it’s clear they know Jinx. I’ll have to keep her away from them.
“You can always talk to me about anything child, if you want,” I offer. She pulls away and looks at me. I give her a gentle smile and a small nod. Ever since meeting Jinx in the alley, I’ve promised her…and myself, that I’d give her the life I wished I had. I had Vander, sure, but he left, just like Jinx’s sister, so I understand. She nods.
“Can you make my juice?” She asks me and I nod.
“Of course,” I say and head behind the bar while Jinx climbs up on a barstool. I look and see her cup on the lower shelf behind the bar. It’s covered with her drawings. I pull out the fruit juice before setting her cup in front of the girl. I pour until the cup is full before dropping in the metal straw.
As Jinx sips on her drink, I think about the two kids we saw. When Vander had told me that he took in a 5 children, I remember Benzo had agreed with him and said that he also took in a boy orphaned in the failed rebellion. I’m pretty sure that dark-skinned boy from earlier, was the one Benzo took in. That means…that younger girl with him…I vaguely remember Vander talking about a newborn when he told me about the children he took in. I wonder if that newborn was the little girl. I can’t be certain yet, not until Jinx wants to talk, but I’m almost sure that that little girl…is Jinx’s younger sister.
Vi’s POV
The last thing I remember is blacking out, trying to get to Powder. I groan, waking up in a cold, cement box. Once my vision comes to me, I look around and see a flat mattress, a metal toilet in the corner along with a rusted out sink. One of the walls is just metal bars and I realize I’m in prison!
“Ugh-“ I groan, shaking off the daze. My thoughts immediately go to Powder as I push myself up off the cold cement floor. I stagger over to the bars and grab hold to support myself. The blood from what happened still coats my knuckles. I shut my eyes when I remember how harshly I hit Powder and how she…looked at me. She was terrified of me. But she still cried for me, pleading for me to come back for her. I’m so sorry Powder. I’m so sorry.
“Lemme out-“ I order weakly before I start to really wake up and come to. I blink a few times before feeling my energy return.
“Hey! HEY!!! LEMME OUT OF HERE!! I DIDN’T DO ANYTHING!!!” I start yelling.
“Silence!” I hear a low, intimidating voice boom. I look and see a large man, larger than Vander, walk by in an Enforcer’s uniform, though with no helmet. His dark beady eyes glare down at me.
“You’ll learn quick that in here, you do as I say,” he growls at me, opening my cell. Now’s my chance! I rush forward and try jumping out of the way of his grip. I grab hold of one of the metal bars as I’m suddenly stopped. I’m yanked backward and tossed into the concrete wall.
“GAH!” I yelp, crumpling to the floor with a groan. Everything’s spinning and I feel weak again. He grabs his stick and strikes me hard and quick. I’m able to block with my forearms, but the power alone is enough to make my cry out in pain. After the 3rd hit, I black out.
3rd POV
After about a month passes, Vi learns quickly how to survive Stillwater Prison. The first few sleepless nights were the worst. All she could think of was Powder…and Silco standing over her, ready to kill her. She was going to get to her until—Marcus. Anger boiled in Vi at the thought of him. Sometimes, her thoughts drifted to Y/N, but remembered that Ekko was also in the area and hoped and prayed to anyone that would listen that the two kids stayed together.
During that month, word of the explosion in the Undercity has made it’s way topside. Most in Piltover, however, do not care. However, there is one man in particular, who has taken note of this news. Jayce Talis. Mr. Talis had been in possession of special blue glowing stones called Hexcrystals until he was robbed by Vi and her siblings, including Powder. During the robbery, an explosion destroyed his apartment. All but the one from his desk were lost. Jayce had assumed that the other Hexcrystals were destroyed in the explosion. He also briefly wondered if the Hexcrystals caused the explosion. Until he heard about the blue explosion in the Undercity, he assumed that either way, the other Hexcrystals were destroyed. But now…Jayce is faced with the possibility that others are still out there…in the Undercity. However, now partnered with Viktor, Professor Heimerdinger’s assistant, Jayce hardly has the time to follow up with the robbery case, especially now that Sheriff Greyson is dead. The new Sheriff of the Enforcers is Marcus, who still reports to Silco. Most Enforcers don’t know and think his crass personality is just who he is, not because he is working for Silco.
As Sheriff, Marcus is often cold towards the Enforcers under him and typically has unpleasant interactions with the rookie, Caitlyn Kiramman. Caitlyn’s been training since she was about 16 and despite being a good shot, she is still quite naive in certain regards. The Kiramman family is one of the wealthiest families in Piltover and the matriarch of the family, Cassandra, is even on the city Council.
Time Lapse—3yrs
3rd POV
3 long years have passed since Vander’s death and the explosion at the cannery. Vi’s first few months were rough. Nearing 20, Vi still gets nightmares about what happened and she can’t help but think the worst has happened to her little sisters. Powder has grown into a wild, but still emotionally damaged 13yr old. Thanks to Silco and his resources, he’s able to get her all sorts of books and materials to perfect her bombs. Ekko is 14 now and has also grown into an excellent inventor and tinkerer as well as an overprotective older brother for Y/N, who’s now a rambunctious but incredibly intelligent 7yr old. Ekko and Y/N also try to help out those affected by Shimmer and who oppose Silco and his growing empire. There is a small group of 5 people who now live in the hidden safe haven with Ekko and Y/N.
Because she’s older now, Ekko has to keep a closer eye on Y/N since she has a tendency to do what she wants and go head first into fights, something that reminds Ekko of Vi. She’s also wicked smart like Powder and he’s a bit jealous of how easily math and physics came to the little girl, but he’s happy for her all the same. She even helped Ekko come up with the idea of a hoverboard, for easier transportation. The two are still working on the physics and design but it’s a nice project to help keep Y/N’s mind off her sisters, who she asks Ekko about every day.
In the 3 years that have passed, Ekko’s seen Powder, now going by Jinx, 2 other times. He caught Jinx out with Sevika and she screamed at him to go away, threatening the boy with a homemade pistol. The other time Ekko had seen Jinx alone and ambushed her. Ekko tried to get through to her, but Jinx managed to get free and tackled Ekko, beating him into submission. She stopped after the 3rd or 4th hit when she saw him look at her in fear. In that moment, Jinx knew that Ekko saw her…the real her.
Despite those interactions, Ekko refused to tell Y/N, even though she constantly asked about her older sisters. He doesn’t want to…taint..the relationship Y/N still thinks she has. She’s only 7 and from what she’s told Ekko, she remembers seeing Vi slap Powder so hard the blue-haired girl fell to the ground and Y/N remembers hearing Vi call her a jinx. Protecting Y/N from the truth of what’s happened has been hard for Ekko and as he’s gotten older, he’s wondered if this was how Vi felt, shielding everyone as best she could. It doesn’t help that there are others now who also depend on him. Luckily, the others that have joined him and Y/N all help out around the sanctuary so he’s not doing everything. One of those is a male Vastaya named Scar. He’s one of the older ones, and he’s taken a sort of protector/teacher role to Ekko, being a few years older than the dark-skinned boy. He’s also become great friends and also another older brother figure to Y/N. He helped Ekko and Y/N build the storage room, medical room and even helped expand the main housing building and built upwards onto the tree’s thick, strong limbs.
In the passing years, Piltover has progressed and grown thanks to Jayce Talis and his partner, Viktor, leaving the Undercity of Zaun further behind. It doesn’t help since Vander is gone and Silco is left to fill the vacuum of power. He’s used his Shimmer production to control the citizens of Zaun and further his own empire. Thanks to Marcus, Silco’s Sheriff on the inside, the crime boss has gone unnoticed by the Councilors of Piltover.
Because of his success, Jayce has gotten the attention of Mel Medarda, an influential Councilor member. She hasn’t really made waves in her position, not until she met Jayce at his hearing 3 years ago. She’s taken an interest in the young inventor, much to Viktor’s annoyance. Viktor, a disabled young man from the Undercity, partnered with Jayce originally because they vowed to improve the lives of those in the Undercity. Now that politics have gotten involved, Viktor finds that particular part of his work tedious. In the Undercity…
Y/N’s POV
I’m with Ekko while the others are out salvaging in the junk heaps. I’m coloring while he listens to music on the record player we found and fixed up. I’m still looking for an extension chord so we can take it outside. I finish the picture I’m drawing. My family. Me, Ekko, Powder and Vi all together, here at our tree. I even drew Scar off to the side next to Ekko.
“Ekko, now that I’m older, can I go see Powder?” I ask him. He sighs and shuts his eyes.
“Y/N, I told you Powder doesn’t want to come with us,” Ekko tells me.
“I know that’s what you said, but if I talk with her, maybe-“ I try, but he gives me a look.
“No. She’s made her choice,” Ekko says curtly.
“That’s not fair! You won’t even let me try! She’s my sister!” I argue angrily.
“Powder’s gone Y/N—all that’s left is Jinx. She’s not who you remember,” Ekko snaps.
“No! No she’s Powder! Not Jinx! Please Ekko, let me try!” I beg.
“She’s not your sister anymore. She’s changed,” Ekko insists.
“I can talk to her. Please Ekko! I deserve to try!” I argue. He sighs.
“Y/N…remember when I came home beaten and bloody…I told you that it was a street fight?” Ekko tells me and I nod, remembering how he looked. His left eye was swollen and black, his nose was bloody and his lip was split and bleeding down his chin.
“Well…that wasn’t exactly what happened…I know I should’ve told you the truth, but I didn’t wanna hurt you-“
“What happened?” I ask, interrupting. He sighs and looks away.
“I…I tried talking with Powder but…she didn’t want to hear anything I had to say. She made it perfectly clear to me that she is Jinx before beating the shit outta me,” he explains. My eyes widen.
“N-No…No sh-she wouldn’t-“ I try defending Powder, but Ekko shakes his head.
“She’s not your sister anymore Y/N. I’m sorry but Jinx is all that’s left of her,” Ekko says as I start to cry. He walks over to me and gives me a gentle but affirming hug.
Ekko manages to calm me down just as the door opens. I pull back and we both turn to see Scar hurry inside.
“Little Man-there’s something you need to see-“ he says urgently. Ekko looks down at me.
“I’m sorry,” he says gently, “stay here until I get back ok?” Ekko says and I glance away before nodding once. I watch as he and Scar hurry out, leaving me alone.
Once I’m alone, I think on everything Ekko told me about Powder. She’s not your sister anymore. The name Jinx causes me to stop. I remember how Powder would tell me how she was afraid of being a jinx to Vi and the boys. Since she hates that name, I don’t like that name either. I know I could get through to Powder if I just talked with her. I know Ekko doesn’t want me to ‘cuz he thinks I’ll get hurt, but she’s my sister. I deserve the chance to try. He stopped me from trying to go to Vi and Powder 3 years ago…I can’t let him do that again. I grab my worn out boots and shove them on before hurrying out, slamming the door behind me.
I race through the streets. Now that we’ve been here for a little while, I’m more familiar with the area and I can easily navigate my way through alleys, pipes, streets, and even the sewers. In no time, I’m back at the Lanes…our old home. I hide in the shadows and peek out from a narrow alleyway to look for any of Silco’s goons. From what Ekko’s told me, they mostly hang around the bar but some do go out and walk around. I make sure it’s clear before hurrying out and moving towards another, closer alley. I hide behind some broken wooden crates before watching the front door to the Last Drop open. My eyes widen when I see it’s Huck! I’m about to call out to him when I suddenly catch sight of his face. He looks…different. His eyes are glowing a sickly pinkish purple color.
I stay silent and wait for Huck to pass before running past the front door to the side alley. I hide behind some trash as the side door to the bar opens! I gasp quietly and freeze when I see Powder walk out! Her clothes are different and her hair is longer and in 2 braids now.
“Pow-pow?” I ask. She stops and turns around so I step out into the open. Her eyes widen and tears start streaming down her face.
“Y/N?” She asks and a wide smile grows on my face as I run towards my older sister. I leap at her and cling to her waist. She doesn’t move at first until I feel her arms wrap around me and grip tight. I feel her shake before dropping to her knees, sobbing. I feel myself starting to cry as well. After all this time. Together again.
“I’m sorry-I’m sorry-I’m sorry-I’m sorry-“ She sobs, repeating over and over, each time her grip tightening.
“I-I left you..like—“ she suddenly says pausing. I pull away and see the terrified look in Powder’s eyes. But…it’s like she’s looking in the distance. She gasps suddenly and pulls away from me.
“No-NO!! I-It is you—you are real…aren’t you?” Powder suddenly asks me.
“W-What? Pow-pow it’s me-Y/N…c’mon I’m taking you home,” I tell her, offering a hand. She reaches out to me but stops and pulls back.
“I..I am home. I never left,” she tells me, looking at the door.
“Powder I need you-“ I beg, “please!” She shuts her eyes and backs away, covering her ears with her hands.
“No-stop! Stop it!” She says angrily, almost as if in pain.
“Powder please!-“ I plead.
“Stop calling me that! It’s Jinx now!!” She snaps at me.
“You’re not a jinx!! You never jinxed me!! Please Powder!” I beg, starting to cry as I feel my heart being ripped apart.
“Shut up! All of you!” Powder snaps and I flinch slightly.
“H-Huh?” I ask, confused.
“I hafta think!” She says.
“C’mon! Ekko is waiting for us-“ I insist. Her eyes widen at the mention of the boy, who I see as an older brother. I’m not sure how the two of them feel about each other.
“It’s ok, I’ll protect you now,” I tell her, reaching out and gently grabbing her hand. She gasps and looks down at our interlocked hands before looking down at me. She suddenly jerks away.
“Everyone shut up!” She snaps, seemingly talking to her side.
“Y/N!!” A familiar voice suddenly calls out. Our eyes widen and we turn to see Ekko staring at us. He looks between the both of us.
Ekko’s POV
“Y/N!!” I call out. The two girls turn to see me, their eyes wide and full of surprise and shock. I look between the both of them.
“Ekko! I-I was just-“ Y/N stutters slightly. I shake my head.
“We’ll talk later. Are you alright?” I ask. She nods.
“Of course, why wouldn’t I be?” She asks.
“Yeah, why wouldn’t she be?” Jinx growls at me. I steady myself before looking at Y/N and motion for her to come, not saying a word. She frowns and looks between me and Jinx. Jinx seems to realize the choice Y/N has to make. Jinx’s eyes widen and she takes a protective stance in front of Y/N, grabbing her shoulder.
“You will not take her from me!” Jinx snaps at me.
“Does that mean you’ll come with us?” Y/N asks, causing Jinx to pause.
“No-I…I mean-I-but…but…I can’t-“ Jinx stutters, shutting her eyes and shaking her head as her hands come up to squeeze the sides of her head, gripping her hair tightly.
“Yes you can! We’ll protect you,” Y/N insists. Jinx backs away from her and shakes her head. While Jinx looks distracted, I hurry over and pull Y/N back towards me.
“I..I want to stay with him,” Jinx says and our eyes widen. Y/N gasps.
“But Silco’s a bad man-how could you-?” Y/N asks, when Jinx suddenly screams and pulls out her pistol and points it right at Y/N’s head!
“SHUT UP! He was there for me! YOU DON’T KNOW!!” Jinx yells at Y/N, who flinches, hiding behind me. Despite the gun, I stand firmly as Jinx switches her aim to me.
“Stay away from me! Both of you!” She growls, glaring at me, then down at Y/N, who whimpers.
“B-But Powder-“ Y/N tries.
“Jinx! I am Jinx!! Go away!! GO AWAY!!” Jinx yells and that’s when I hear footsteps from inside. I grab hold of Y/N, despite her protesting and run as fast as I can, trying to keep hold of the squirming, wiggling girl.
We get to the junk heaps where we used to scavenge and I have to put Y/N down as she cries. I frown.
“I…I’m sorry Y/N…I didn’t want you to find out that way-“ I try telling her.
“W-Why? Why did Powder do that? We’re her family too-“ Y/N cries, clearly not understanding. I shake my head sadly.
“I don’t think she’s Powder anymore. All that’s left is Jinx and she belongs to Silco,” I tell her. As much as I hate to admit it, especially to a 7yr old, I don’t think Jinx will ever be Powder again. At least, not how I remember Powder. I hear Y/N sniffling so I turn around and kneel down.
“Here, hop on,” I offer. She climbs up onto my back and I loop my arms under her legs as she wraps her arms around my neck before starting to walk home.
End.

I also think in some aspects timebomb is kind of.. cringe? Not in the way that people might think, just the one specific line that kind of shapes the whole ship for me is when ekko says "i had a crush, until you started talking to the gun." In game, and jinx had an initial response to that.
Also feels a bit jittery and jumped if you catch my drift, but the one dedicated episode was a really nice touch for the two, but badly written for the whole overall thing. imo!
100%. i’m not a league player (i played once and got so bored i gave up) but i can appreciate that they are nuances that occur in game that didn’t happen in the show. but my view isn’t coloured by in game implications, but how the characters were written. i wouldn’t say timebomb is inherently cringe but i definitely think that the overwhelming response to put two very independent characters together romantically really ruined both arcs (imo at least).
as a screenwriter i think one of two things; the au episode was used as a tool to garner sympathy for jinx. not from the audience (because we all know that jinx at her core is a pathetic, attention starved, sociopath, and we all pity her for that) but from ekko. dramatic irony serves a lot of the individual prerogatives that each character has; ie, the fact that people don’t know jinx killed silco drives forward their hatred towards piltover because they think that they were the cause of death for someone they were so loyal to. but in the case i’m trying to make, ekko doesn’t know a lot of the torture jinx went through emotionally; how she carries guilt and burden about vi, vander, claggor, and mylo. the au episode was meant to show ekko that beneath silco’s jinx there is still a powder who is still so loyal to her family (tending the last drop rather than venturing into her own engineering and innovation). ekko is given hope that if this version of powder can exist, some hope is left for jinx.
he grieves her as a lost of potential to reconcile his old life before everything went to shit. he grieves her as a loss of utopia, and as a friend who he grew up with. reducing that to a crush and a romantic relationship falls short because it is so reductionist to say that the only way a person can and should be able to show love is through romantic love. i think it definitely could have been better communicated by the writers, but i also know the need to sensationalise every possible ship to garner more media attention.
so . i think that the timebomb wave, while i wholeheartedly love ekko x powder, is hugely detrimental to both ekko and jinx’s arcs. anyway

Vi had been among the last generation of Zaunites, which had grown up partly with the Grey. She was painfully aware of how much it clung to your lungs and turned you dizzy and disorientated. Thus she could not fault Caitlyn for being completely wiped out by the Grey without her breathing mask. No wonder, these strangers had been able to get the jump on her. Whatever they had in their tanks ensured they could outlast Caitlyn in the sickly green smog.
That hiss of pain caused the Zaunite to wipe her head around. "Cait?" She took note of how her partner massaged her side, no doubt feeling a bad bruise underneath. As Caitlyn brushed her palm over her face, she aggravated the small cut on her temple causing it to bleed more. The familiar sight of the red gash caused Vi to step closer. Without hesitation, she leaned over and began to lap at the wound, trying to clean it off any dirt and grime, which might have come into it.
All the while, she listened to Caitlyn's words, only briefly pulling back. As she did so, the slight sting of her busted lip made Vi pull a face. Before she could wipe some of the blood away though, Caitlyn leaned over and licked across her lower lip. The soothing moisture of her tongue made the Zaunite relax and give an appreciative smile.
"Vander's told me of this stuff before", Vi replied, "Whenever a Chem-Baron dies, either his deputy becomes next in line or if there is no deputy, the gang dissolves and the territory gets absorbed by surrounding ones. Silco leaving a vacuum like this is not new. What is new, is how bad this is! Based on Vander's accounts, stuff like this should have solved itself by now. However I think it takes a special quality to lead the whole Undercity. And let's be real: Cross, Margott or Smeech do not have that in the slightest! Renni would have never dared to pull that stunt she did at the Memorial if someone like Silco was still in charge. I know you Pilties never noticed that, but people like Vander or Silco prevented that stuff from happening."
She snickered and said: "I once hit someone with a rucksack and promptly got punched in the face for it! Believe me, getting caught by surprise is almost a badge of honour here. Especially if you get to walk away." She followed Caitlyn's lead and curiously inspected the dark metal, frowning. "Janna, damn it!", Vi murmured, "I wish I had paid more attention when my mother taught us how to identify valuable metals and gemstones. She could tell a diamond from a pebble. I was more invested in learning how to dig through rock with my bare hands than all that fine-tuning stuff. Maybe Jayce would know what that metal is?"
"Woah, easy there, Cait!", Vi called out as Caitlyn almost stumbled over her own feet as she tried to get up. She rushed over and grabbed her by her arm. "I got you. Deep breaths." Easing Caitlyn's arm over her shoulder, Vi wrapped a hand around her waist and waited for her to pick up her rifle with her free hand. Shuffling their way back towards the bridge and crossing the bridge, Vi said: "I would applaud you for the idea and back you, but you seem really badly hit. So I would recommend that I go. Or well, the Baroness goes. I am sure she can shake any information we might need loose."
Caitlyn’s head rested against the wall, taking in deep clean breaths of air. Caitlyn might breathe the toxic air underneath the land, but it left her mind far more lethal and aggressive than she liked. But this, clean and opened allowed her to clear her head and think a bit more clearly. A shift of her shoulder brought a small hiss, feeling a deep bruise against her skin as she reached up to rub it slightly through her outfit. Then she moved to brush her hand against the side of her face, the streak of blood staining her glove as she rolled her eyes in annoyance.
“Much worse than I thought. I expected some chaos with the chem barons being taken off the map, but now its like... a den of predators with no direction,” Caitlyn admitted as she shifted to the side and touched Vi’s face gently, brushing her thumb against her bottom lip and seeing the broken lip. She leaned forward and lightly licked at the wound, hoping to ease some of the ache. “I didn’t think about the vacuum it's that would come with his spot being open, but I honestly thought that maybe one of the other chem barons might take the lead; instead, it’s just... them going at each other’s neck for blood,” Caitlyn put her hand up against her brow.
She wanted to make things better for the Undercity, not worse! She gritted her teeth as she closed her eyes, her vision blurring slightly thought from the pain or concussion she wasn’t sure. “Um.. Yeah, my head is pounding from the beating it received. And very pissed at myself for letting myself get caught like that. It was unexpected. I’ve never seen these men working so well together, and it’s different from Silco,” Caitlyn said as she nodded, with understanding.
Her fingers reached forward, twisting the bolt within her fingers. “This isn’t Piltovan made, and the metal looks too dark to be metals from Zaun, if I’m correct,” Caitlyn whispered, twisting it around in her fingers and looked back up to Vi. “I was on the same thought, that this might have been Jinx. But the congregation I found. They were organized, controlled, and not trying to create chaos like Jinx does. Instead, they were talking about finding the strong and capable, and the weak would die under their feet.” Caitlyn passed the bolt back over to Vi as she rubbed her hand up against her face, shaking her head. “I need more information to know what, or who, this is. Maybe go back to the crime scene after a day or so to see if I can find more details.”
Pushing herself up to her feet, she grabbing her rifle only to stumble and hit the side of the wall. She had stood up too fast and caused the blood to rush to her head and making her lightheaded. That or it was the concussion she suffered as she pressed her palm to her head and shook her head as if that would make a distance. “Come on, Tiger. Let’s get back home. We can do more there,”

🕷 Vi isn't embarrassed, she's just awestruck from the way you look
🕷 definitely staring at them tiddies
🕷 After taking the whole image in, she doesn't waste much time
🕷 Will either just jump on you or yank you to the bottom of the bed
Caitlyn
🕷 please i love her
🕷 She tries to act really smooth at first but the closer she gets to you, really seeing the detail of the lingerie and how it fits you, the more she kind of falls apart
🕷 "i told you [insert color] looks amazing on you"
🕷 Likes to run her hands down your body
🕷 Caitlyn likes to take her time, especially when it involves you
🕷 It's honestly painstakingly slow how long she takes to take off the lingerie and she teases you while doing it
Ekko
🕷 i imagine him making the fuckboy face when he sees you
🕷 Endless compliments about how you look
🕷 He's such a gentleman when taking it off because he knows it might've been expensive <3
🕷 Ekko probably likes vibrant colors because it's a nice contrast against your skin
🕷 Kneads your thighs
🕷 The second he's about to actually do anything he realizes he forgot to lock the door and is scrambling just to get back to you as fast as possible
Viktor
🕷 He usually sleeps at the lab so its a rare occasion that you get him to yourself with zero interruptions
🕷 "Seems like someone's missed me."
🕷 Viktor has an amused but adoring look on his face while walking over to you
🕷 Gently pulls you off the bed and kisses your hand
🕷 Likes to wrap his arms around your waist kissing you while he touches the somewhat transparent fabric
🕷 Viktor praises and compliments you as he takes the lingerie off
🕷 If it's one of those lingerie that has a choker, he has to stop himself from moving to quickly
🕷 It's an appreciated surprise for sure
🕷 wear it under your outfit and see what happens
Jayce
🕷 His cheeks get so red looking at you
🕷 He starts stuttering and pausing while trying to look away but failing each time
🕷 "you.. look a-amazing"
🕷 you cant convince me that jayce doesn't get easily flustered
🕷 Eventually he cools off but it takes him a second
🕷 Jayce might pretend to be embarrassed for a bit longer just so you walk over to him
🕷 The second you do though, he picks you up and wraps your legs around him
🕷 He squeezes your waist if you're ticklish there just so he can hear you laugh
🕷 Jayce leaves a lot of hickeys but only in places where he's allowed to see
Silco
🕷 He probably bought the damn thing for you
🕷 He definitely takes everything into consideration when he buys you clothes like how it'll fit you, what color would look best, if you'd be comfortable in it even though it wouldn't matter much by the end
🕷 Silco is actually very pleased when he sees you in it and asks whether or not you like it
🕷 Depending on your answer is how he takes it off
🕷 If you say you like it, that shit gets ripped off just so he has an excuse to get you another one
🕷 Unlike Jayce, he isn't really considerate with the placement of his hickeys
🕷 There isn't enough concealer in the world baby, im sorry
Vander
🕷 No thoughts just big, tough hands touching soft skin
🕷 His jaw drops
🕷 Vander gives you a compliment about how you look while chuckling before pulling you into a kiss
🕷 He likes the lingerie that is similar to a dress because it's more ✨ accessible ✨

Patching her up (Vander x Reader)
As I promised. The Vander fic!!
I know I said it was gonna be 2k but I got a little carried away...
Words: 3.2k
Warnings: The usual f/m smut.
Notes: Let me know if you guys like it and if you want more and what you would want!
She woke up in a bed and she was not alone. Let me explain.
She was ambushed the night before by a group of enforcers trying to get the dirt on the attack in Piltover. She obviously didn’t give them anything and severely kicked their asses. The only problem was that they had done their own fair share of damage to her. There was one obvious place to go with injuries like this, The last drop.
The last drop was her place of employment. Bartending and serving the (mostly drunk) customers together with Vander. It was not just the place where she worked, it was her home too.
She stumbled her way through the streets of Zaun. She made her way to the entrance of The last drop, becoming more tired with every step. But she made it. She opened the door and to her luck the place was almost empty after hours. She leaned her shoulder, and her body weight, on the doorframe.
Vander was standing behind the bar. He held an old rag, using it to wipe spilled liquids off the counter. He looked up when he heard the door open. “We’re clo-” He stopped what he was saying when he took a look at the way she stood in the doorway. She was slumped against the doorframe, holding her side with one hand while the other just hung to her side. Her face was covered in some minor cuts and her cheek was starting to bruise.
“You got a drink?” She managed to get out before stumbling her way inside while holding her left hand on her side. She was sore. Vander all but jumped over the countertop of the bar to rush to her. He swung her left arm over his shoulder while bending down to put his arm underneath her knees to pick her up. She groaned because of the way her body folded over when he lifted her off the floor. She groaned again when he put her down on a chair in a room she imagined to be his bedroom.
The room was made from old rotting wood, just like the rest of the last drop. It was barely decorated. A big unmade bed stood in the far left corner, the mattress looked worn but so was hers at home. In the far right corner of the room he had a desk. It was covered in papers and pencils. She guessed that he used that for bar bookkeeping. The only decorating she spotted was the window that was built into the room and an old frayed rug on the floor.
While she was taking in her surroundings, Vander was frantically searching around his room to find something to dress her wounds with. He found some rags which looked clean (enough) and some alcohol. He returned with the materials and saw her staring around the room, she didn’t even notice him coming back in. He walked over to the chair she was sitting on and kneeled in front of her. When he put a hand on her cheek her eyes shot to look at him, staring into his eyes. He tilted her head so he could see the bruises better.
“Who did you piss off for them to do this to you.” Here we go, she thought. The scolding. She winced when he put a rag with some alcohol on it on a cut on her face.
“This is nothing, you should’ve seen the other guy.” She smirked as he sighed. She tilted her head back to it’s normal position and could now see the worry and disapproval in his eyes. She smiled at him and put her small hand on his cheek.
“You shouldn’t worry so much, gives you more wrinkles.” She snorted at his eye roll. “No but seriously, I think most of the blood is the other guys’. I might look like shit but I was mostly tired.” He chuckled.
“You do look like shit. But you’re not getting rid of me that easily, I wanna check for injuries before I’ll let you go.” Now it was her turn to roll her eyes at him. Big softie that he is.
“Fine, what do you want to check?” She lifted her arms in a T position to show she was going to cooperate. She saw him look up and down her body, probably looking for bloodstains that could possibly be hers.
“Your back. And sides.” He used his hand to motion her to turn around on the chair she was sitting on.
“If you wanted me to take my shirt off you could have asked sooner.” She wiggled her eyebrows and turned around. She missed the blush that creeped on his cheeks when she called him out. She crossed her arms to reach the opposite ends of the ham of her shirt and lifted it straight off her head. She was glad to be wearing a bra today.
Vander scanned her back and gently lifted her arms to look at her sides. He realised that she was right. Most of the blood was from her opponents. She herself was mostly bruised. He grabbed the bowl of cold water he brought and wet a rag with it. He put the cold wet rag on her skin where a bruise was beginning to form. She tensed up when the cold fabric touched her skin, goosebumps forming instantly. His other hand was on her waist, holding her steady. She was painfully aware of his calloused fingers on her skin. As was he.
He put the rag back into the water when he felt like he cooled it enough. She didn’t notice though. She was deep in thought, imagining his hands sliding over her skin and discovering the rest of her body.
“You can turn around now, I wanna check the rest.” She was pulled out of her daydream by his voice. She cleared her throat.
“Haven’t you seen enough yet?” She turned around and looked at him with raised eyebrows and nothing but mischief in her eyes. He just looked at her. Her eyes, nose, cheeks. Lips. His eyesight moved lower, her collarbones came into view, then her breasts still covered in her bra. He lingered a moment too long before moving to her abdomen. Her abdomen was a little bruised as well, not as bad as her sides so he decided to let it go for now.
They had been friends for a while now but he had never seen her with this little clothing on. It didn’t surprise him that he liked what he saw, he always knew that he had a soft spot for her. So did she, she knew her feelings for him.
“So doctor, am I cleared? Or do I need some internal research too? There’s plenty of spots for you to discover.” He looked away from her abdomen to look at her face, shock filling his facial features.
“I- What?” If she felt uncomfortable in any way she hid it well.
“Well, I could have any sort of internal bleeding you know. Figured you’d want to find out.” She knew that she definitely didn’t mean it like that but the surprise on his face made her back out of her forwardness. What she didn’t expect was him clearing his throat while looking, disappointed? So she gathered up the courage again.
“I mean, unless you had something else in mind.” He looked at her again. He came closer and brushed some loose strands of hair out of her face. He left his palm on her cheek. His face was inches from her own.
“Are you sure?” He asked, a soft expression taking residence on his face. Her hand grabbed the bottom of his bicep, using him as leverage to scoot even closer.
“Very.”
She leaned in and closed the rest of the distance that was barely even between them anymore. Her soft lips met his dry ones. His free arm circled around her bare waist to pull her closer to him. He moved the hand that was on her cheek to her butt and lifted her up. She squealed into the kiss when he lifted her from the chair but folded her legs around his waist on reflex.
He sat down and in the process positioned her on his lap. He kept one of his hands on her butt, lightly squeezing it. Their lips move in sync, wanting to taste each other as much as they can. One of her hands is tangled in his hair, her other hand slid underneath his jacket from the front. She could feel his muscles move through the fabric of his shirt.
She untangled her hand from his hair to slide his jacket over his large shoulders. He let go of her waist and ass to shrug his jacket off. He flung it somewhere in the room, he would find it later. His hands found their way back to her body just underneath her bra. His fingers slid underneath the clasp and he pulled back from the kiss to look at her.
Her cheeks were flushed and her lips were plump. He could see the skin around her mouth becoming a little flushed because of his beard rubbing against it.
“This okay?” He asked. She nodded vigorously. He unclasped the bra with both his hands and slid it down her arms. The bra found its way to the floor very soon after. He took his time just staring at her bare torso. His hands were on her ribs, his thumbs rubbing the skin right underneath her breasts. She shivered at the sensation.
“Please, Vander.” She whined. One of his eyebrows rose.
“Please, what? I can’t read your mind y'know.” She sighed and grabbed one of his right hand with both of hers and put it on her breast. “Touch me.”
Vander chuckled at her actions. He flicked his thumb over her nipple, sending a small ripple of pleasure through her body. He grabbed the nipple with his thumb and index finger. He gently squeezed and rolled it between his fingers while bending down to connect his lips to the other breast. She rolled her head back and moaned at his actions. He lightly bit the nipple he had in his mouth before flicking his tongue over it. He let go of it with a pop and she could feel her nipple getting cold because of exposure to the air.
Before he gave the other nipple the same treatment he held her back and turned them around without warning. She fell with her back on the bed and let out a huff because of the impact. He was hovering over her now. His knees were between her legs and his hands leaned on the bed next to her shoulders. His head leaned down to work on the nipple he missed before. One of his hands gave the other some attention too.
She lifted her head to look at what he was doing, he was looking at her while sucking her nipple. She moaned and let her head fall back after she made eye contact with him. He let go of her nipple and crawled up higher. He kissed his way up past her collarbones and leaving lovebites in his path. He paid extra attention to her neck, exploring the skin and trying to find the spots that make her shiver. He found them and sucked and bit and kissed the spots as much as he could. Eventually he found his way back to her mouth, kissing her deeply once more.
She kissed him back as hard as he kissed her. Tongues swirling around each other and his beard once more scratching her skin. Her hands finally found their way underneath the shirt Vander was wearing and she tuggen it upwards. It was now bunched up underneath his arms. He unlatched his lips from hers to yank his shirt over the top of his head. Any clothing was starting to feel constricting at this point.
Her hands ran over the skin on his torso. She ran her fingertips past every muscle, scar and spot she could find. She tried to take in every detail she could see and remember it. When her eyesight passed his stomach and ventured further down she could see the bulge begging to be freed from its prison of fabric. Her hands worked on his belt in an instant. She got it loose in record time but when she tried to undo the button of his pants one of his big hands stopped her.
“You first darlin’.” He let go of her hands and undid the button of her trousers instead. Her own hands dropped at her side onto the mattress. He unzipped her pants and pulled them, together with her underwear, down her legs when she lifted her hips for him. Once again, the clothes were thrown somewhere into the room. She had drawn her knees together when her clothes were off, the cold air tingling her wet pussy.
Vander’s hands put some pressure on the inside of her knees so she would spread them for him. She did. He ran his hands down the inside of her thighs. Her pussy clenched involuntarily at the movements and sensations. He moved a little further away from her after he circled his arms underneath her knees and pulled her down with him. He stepped off the bed and kneeled on the floor at the end of it, pulling her pussy right in front of his face. She was now leaning on her elbows so she could look at him.
He lifted one of her legs and started kissing down the inside of it. Her breathing picked up when he got closer and closer to her core. He was now hovering above her pussy, the leg he lifted now bent over his shoulder.
“This okay?” He looked at her face and she looked back. The look of him between her legs, inches from her dripping center made her thank whoever was listening for the sight. She wasn’t going to get any words out so she just nodded.
“Mhm.” She put some pressure on his shoulder with her foot to give him the message to get on with it. He smiled before pressing his lips on the tender skin of her core. He gave her short kisses before, without warning, pressing his tongue past his (and her) lips. She gasped when he dragged his tongue through her folds, only just slightly hitting her clit. Her hands were tangled in his hair.
After he licked a few stripes along the skin and had sufficiently enjoyed the way she tasted, he closed his mouth over her clit. Vander dragged one of his fingers through her folds before plunging it in her wet pussy. Simultaneously, he started sucking on her clit in short but intense pulses. She was thrashing around. She used the leg that hung over his shoulder to pull him closer to her core. Her toes were curled. She was moaning his name, telling him “Right there. Don’t stop.”. She could feel his beard scratching her thighs and his thick finger curling deep inside her.
She tasted like heaven to him, he couldn’t get enough. He lapped at her pussy like a dog that hadn’t drank in a week. His finger pumped in and out of her velvet walls, slick with her juices. He added a second finger and revelled in the sounds she made. He looked up at her and he could see her with her eyes closed shut. She was throwing her head left and right, not able to be still anymore. He groaned when she pulled particularly hard on a strand of hair attached to his head. His groan sent sparks through her body and turned out to be the last push she needed to reach her high.
She moaned his name and pushed his head away from her sensitive clit as the shockwaves of pleasure ran their way through her body. He still had his fingers inside her and could feel her walls clench around him, imagining what it would feel like if it was his cock instead.
“Such a good girl.” He said when he pulled his fingers out to stand up and pull his own pants down his legs. His cock was rock hard and already leaking juices from seeing her come undone like this.
She felt empty without his fingers inside. She whimpered when he took them out. Her whimper turned into a moan when she saw what he was hiding underneath his pants all this time. He was big. She sat up on her elbows again and scooted back a little when he came crawling onto the bed.
He hovered over her and she could feel the weight of his cock leaning against her groin. Her hips moved on their own accord and they both moaned when she felt his cock brush against her clit. He leaned down to kiss her while one of his hands grabbed the base of his cock so he could slide it through her folds. Her pussy was wet from her previous orgasm and slicked him up enough so he could slide into her with ease.
He groaned into her mouth when he felt her engulf his cock so easily. She dropped her head with her mouth wide open when he was fully sheathed inside. Their fast breaths filled the room. It was her turn to look at him. His eyes were closed while he tried to give her time to adjust to his size. He desperately wanted to move and she wanted him to as well.
She moved her hips and felt his cock move even deeper which made them both gasp once more. He took the hint and slowly pulled out before slowly sliding in again. Their body parts fit together like a jigsaw, slotting together as if made to be in that position.
She kissed his neck before speaking. “You’re not gonna break me you know. You can go faster.” He wasn’t gonna let her tell him twice and picked up the pace by a lot. He was now ramming into her and she was sure she would be sore the next day.
It didn’t take long for him to reach the burning of an orgasm in his belly. He put his thumb on her clit to help her along faster too. She moaned when he put pressure and started swirling his thumb. She too felt her orgasm approaching quickly. A few deep thrusts and swirls of his finger made her tumble over the edge once again. She arched her back as she moaned loudly. He could feel her walls clench around his cock. That was his last push. Vander groaned loudly when he buried himself deep into her pussy when he came.
He was careful to not put his full body weight on the girl and pulled out so he could collapse next to her. He pulled her naked body close to his.
“You okay darlin’?” He asked when he caught his breath again.
“Better now you patched me up.” They snorted before drifting off to sleep together.

Okay, maybe I’m just a big dumb-dumb, but when I was watching the dinner scene particularly this dialogue about Vander I was like screaming.
Like my thinking was “She knows!!! She has known the entire time!!” With the basic idea being that she knew what she did but she’s been hiding that knowledge inside from him.
Which says so much about just how smart Jinx is and how much aware and there is a lot more complexity there is rather than just “he took her and she drank the kool-aid and believed everything he said” (I mean there are plenty of other lines that suggest this, that she had her own opinions independent of what he said, but this happens to be another one)
I have always read the “tackling” scene as that Powder was fully aware of the danger he posed and that was kind of a last ditch effort to save her own life, to try to reel him in with pity (of course more in a spontaneous way, not in a “I have this fully figured out calculated plan”) (Though I guess theoretically it is possible that she didn’t know at that point who he was? because they hadn’t really met and when she was outside preparing her bomb maybe he just wasn’t really in view)
So, basiaclly that scene got me super excited.
But then I got to thinking ... did Powder actually see Vander get stabbed?
In the sequence, the explosion happens, Powder gets blown from the building
After that Vander has a brief fight against the Shimmer dude (during this Vi is screaming) and gets stabbed by Silco.
Then Vander chocking Silco but collapses to his wounds, Silco throws him off the mini bridge. Vander hears Silco saying to his goon to find the girl (I presume he means Vi because he heard he screaming? I don’t think it makes sense in the sequence of events that Silco was aware that the monkey bomb meant Powder was present) Also Shimmer goon immediately goes into the room where Vi is. Vander takes Shimmer to get up again. Vander attacks and presumably kills Shimmer dude. He is then turn between going after Silco or rescuing Vi.
He grabs Vi and jumps off the building. Vander delievers his dying words to Vi, Vi grieves over Vander. (sidenote: somebody should do a gifset of all the “dying words” from characters, Vander to Vi, Marcus to Cait, Silco to Jinx and any others I might have forgotten)
At this point Powder shows up and seems to have missed what exactly went down (in theory it is possible that she was faking it).
I think the cinematography suggests that Powder sees the consequences of her actions only here? [ETA: and the Script to Scene video suggests that she only realizes what happened at least in regards to her “family” members here]
In the tv sequence this about 5 and a half minutes if you go from her being thrown to her showing up (you can maybe subtract some of that for slowmo/dream sequences).
Even if Powder came back earlier than when we see her again, Silco stabbing Vander in the back was fairly early in the sequence of events, about 2 and a half minutes in.
Anyway, made me wonder, if maybe it wasn’t “Powder came back, saw a lot more than she let on and was just pretending she missed the chaos” what is the alternative? (it is noteworthy that the bridge is visible from the outside because Powder sees Vi on the bridge as Vi faces down Silco’s goons earlier)
And then it dawned to me, what if it is simpler... what it Silco just flat out told her about “that time when I stabbed Vander in the back”? Because thinking about it, that seems like the kind of thing Silco would do.
Like I wouldn’t put it past him that he would just take Jinx to the scene of the crime and go “And this is where I finally rid myself of Vander and got over my trauma!”, complete with reinactment! (just like he is sort of reinacting his trauma when he takes her to the river)
It’s interesting if he would similarly have talked openly about how he originally planned to stab her. And I definitely wouldn’t put it past Sevika to drop a “man, I wish he had stabbed you that night like he was originally going to” type line.
Similarly, i don’t think that it’s that strange that Powder noticed even back then. Silco approaches her, knife in hand, blade still bloody from Vander’s blood.
I love the detail that when he kneels down to talk to her, he hides the blade behind his back.
When she tackles him the knife very audibly clatters to the ground next to him.
Anyway, thoughts? Did Powder come back earlier and flat out see Silco stab Vander? Or did she find out about it from Sevika or just whispers in the street? Or did Silco just flat out tell her?
TLDR: How did Jinx know that Silco stabbed Vander in the back? Did Silco openly tell her that or did she find out some other way? Was Silco aware she had that knowledge or did she conceal that from him?

Vi noticed the rapid movement behind her eye and that slight groan from her lips. “Cait?” She questioned again, trying to see if she was alert or not. Suddenly, her eye flew open, and she began to panic. Her hands clawed at the blanket and trying to escape. “Cait, Caitlyn,” Vi spoke out suddenly, as she realized she was on the side of her eye that she couldn’t see. She quickly jumped out from under the blankets, just in a set of boxer briefs and her tank top and nearly lept over Caitlyn’s body to land on the ground.
“Hey, hey, I’m right here,” Vi said as she grabbed her hand and the other reached over to her face. Despite her brash knuckles, her fingers tenderly touched her face to get her to focus on her. “Easy now, breathe, breathe,” Vi encouraged, as she did slow breaths, hoping Caitlyn might mimic her actions. “You’re safe, you’re at home. You’ve been through the ringer, cupcake, but you are okay now.” The brawler couldn’t help the relief on her mind to see Caitlyn awake and breathing. It took everything not to weep and wrap her arms around her.
Her entire world laid in this bed now, though she would never forget Jinx or Vander. But this, Caitlyn, she choose this. Not out of responsibility or requirement, no burden upon her shoulders; she chose Caitlyn freely and knew she could be happy. Grief would be there. She would mourn for her sister and father, but she did not feel guilty for being happy with this woman. This brilliant minded, beautiful moon that shined in her eyes.
Her thumb brushed over Caitlyn’s cheek, keeping her green eyes focused on her. “I wondered when you would wake up Cupcake. I was starting to miss your witty remarks and smug smile,” Vi grinned, her eyes glassy as she used her foot to pull up a chair and sit right next to the bed. “Just stay laying down. The medic will have my head if I let you get out of bed and she’s one scary bitch,” Vi teased, not bothered by it because she had kept Caitlyn alive.
@valiantthearts sat on the bed, glancing over at Caitlyn. It had been a few days since the massive battle of Piltover, preventing the world from ending, and now Vi worried her world truly would end. She hadn't woken up, the bandage over her eye, the one around her abdomen, so much blood loss and pain. Vi hated that she wasn't there to protect her, she didn't want to split up in the first place. But she trusted Caitlyn, her expertise of strategy and movement. But now she worried she would lose it all. She had lost to much already, and Vi wouldn't leave the bed. She had become quite guarded, hissing any anyone who came in in a protective measure. The vastaya protecting her mate. She rarely slept, and if she did her head would just press against the headboard so that if the bed move she could quickly wake up and help Cait. It had been evening, the sun setting through the window, when the movement caused Vi to jerk and turned. "Cait?" Vi whispered, as she reached over to her hand, glancing at the IV in the other arm.
little by little, the sound of the outside world begins to seep into her consciousness, pulling her from the darkness that has held her captive for several days. as the kiramman heir stirs, the first thing she notices is the aches that ravish every inch of her body, eliciting a groan from her lips. the second is the light that filters through closed eyelids... one eyelid. eyes begin to flick to and fro, rapidly beating behind bruised skin, now fully aware of the lack of response from her left.
the third thing that caitlyn is aware of is how dry her throat is. reaching up with a stiff arm, shaking fingers investigate what once was a familiar face until she finds a bandage over the left side of her face. panic sets in as her right eye cracks open, the room greeting her in random blurs and strokes. a single tear crawls down her cheek, and then - she's scrambling, attempting to free herself from the confines of the bed, of the wires that seek to treat her ailments, and...ㅤ“ㅤv-vi?!ㅤ”

Can you please write a soulmate AU for Silco? ( and Sevika if you're down, separately of course ) The kind of soulmate au is up to you! First meeting and preferrably fluff but you can break our hearts with angst as well >.>
Heck yea. I might do Sevika separately, but I wanted to do this one first. No smut, but under the read more for Soul Mate AU shenanigans.
Part 2 can be found here, IT IS NSFW
-
Soulmates were rare on Runeterra. Usually a sign for great destiny or a new piece of history about to unfold. They could be signs of good luck or bad luck, depending on where you were.
Piltover had a few cases of soul mates over the centuries. A sign of good fortune, for a city so small to have so many cases of it.
Zaun had never had any, which was no surprise to anyone who lived in it.. No one had been chosen, no names appeared on anyone’s wrists. There were no whispers of it. No hints. The undercity was bleak, with no future.
And it only got worse when Vander died. Shimmer began to flood the city; a purple wave of addiction. And each year it only seemed to get worse. More dead bodies, more addicts that lined the street.
Which is why you were surprised that your friends had organized a night out to the Last Drop. When you looked sour about the location, one gave you a hard look. “You haven’t been since Vander died.”
“That’s because Vander didn’t sell Shimmer next to the alcohol.” Still you went along, because they had reserved a table for the night, and you’d feel worse if they had wasted their money.
The Last Drop had a more club atmosphere now. Loud and blaring. You took a fruity cocktail, with a hard look over at the shimmer next to the bar. You watched the bartender make it carefully, and drank it even more carefully.
As the night progressed, you managed to have enough in you, that you could go up and dance in the crowd.. Swaying your arms and legs in time with the music, not really caring how you looked as everyone focused on the beat. No one cared about how anyone else danced.
You gazed up at the ceiling. Feeling the alcohol burn in you, as you nodded your head along with the song, you shifted your gaze along the room, seeing the balcony connected to the stairwell. You saw two figures, watching down into the club. One was a tall woman, wearing a red poncho. The other was a tall, slim man. When he turned his head, you could see the black eye, with the glowing red in the center.
The music suddenly didn’t matter so much, slowly leaving your head, and your body stopped. No dancing, or jumping about, the music a simple hum in your ear. A sense of calm and warmth overtook you, as you stared up at him. And you couldn’t tear your gaze away.
You could see his hands, tapping fingers against the railing. How he was beginning to grip it tighter. A slight shake of the head, and then finally, finally, his gaze turned. And it met your own.
Your wrist was on fire. You doubled over, suddenly the music came back, blasting in your ears. You screamed, the sound deafened under the bass. You shook your head, hand scrambling to your left wrist. You could feel something. Carving into your wrist. A sob wracked through you, your whole body beginning to tremble. You moved, trying to get off the dance floor. Where were your friends?
Your eyes began to stung. You could feel it, the burn only growing as your arm continued to be carved. You stumbled, and hit a wall. You leaned against it, brow now covered in sweat. You glanced down.
The last curve of the letter ‘O’ was being formed on your wrist. Like an invisible knife. There were five letters on your wrist, forming a name: Silco.
It took you a moment to realize what had happened. And then disbelief filled you. No, it couldn’t be. No one in Zaun had ever- It couldn’t be with him, could it?
When you glanced back up, you could see him standing. Trembling slightly. Gripping his wrist. Fuck.
You didn’t realize the woman wasn’t there, until she was standing in front of you. She gazed at your wrist, eyes wide and swallowed before she spoke. “Do I have to grab you, or will you follow?”
“I’ll follow.” Your voice sounded so weak. You weren’t sure if it was from the pain, the scream, the way you were almost in tears, or a mixture of the three.
You went up the stairs, trying not to tremble as you did so. Your heart bouncing in your chest, as you neared an open door. You could feel it. The other mark. His mark, with your name on it.
He was sitting at his desk, his left hand shaking slightly as he attempted to light a cigar with it. He managed to get it, and it shook less when he took a drag. His eyes met your own. He only had to give the tall woman a look, and she left the room, door shutting behind her.
And then you were alone with him. Your wrist stung, and you saw him bite down on the cigar slightly. “Sit.” He waved a few fingers towards the couch. And you sat, holding your wrist. “I sent for some ice.”
You gave a small nod. “Thank you.” You held your wrist tightly still. It burned so badly. Your gaze turned to him, as you rubbed along the mark. You wanted to talk, but you had no idea what to say.
Neither did he, just staring at you. Then eventually dropping his gaze to his wrist, pulling back the sleeve. You could see the carving of your own name, like a burn. The skin red around it.
You both sat in silence, until one of his goons came in, dropping off two bags of ice. Once he was gone, you placed the bag of ice on the mark. You hissed when you rested it against your wrist, cooling the skin, but re-awakening the sting. You heard a rumble emerge from him, as he set the cold against his own.
You turned your gaze to the ceiling, eyes burning now. “Why does this hurt so much?”
“Because it’s fresh. New.” You hadn’t expected him to answer you, and you rolled your head to look at him. He was staring at the mark through the bag, cigar now gone in his ash tray, then snapped his gaze onto yours. Both eyes looked so intensely at you, a few hairs now sticking to his forehead. The little beads of sweat.
He stood next, the chair swiveling out behind him. He approached the couch, and you didn’t move. It felt a little better as he drew closer to you. When he reached for your hand, you hesitated. And then held yours own to him.
The second his skin touched your own, the burn soothed. You both sighed, and he moved to sit next to you, not letting go of your hand. You were both quiet for a few minutes, enjoying the less pain as you continued to hold hands.
It was Silco who broke the silence first. “I haven’t seen you here before.” He said softly, letting his thumb run over the back of your hand.
You almost laughed, but something twisted inside of you. “I hate shimmer, and I hated you for distributing it.”
His lips twitched. “Still hate me then?”
You hummed, moving a hand over. You hovered over his mark first, and when he didn’t pull it away, you set it down. And it only calmed the burn even further, even on your own mark. When you glanced down, his mark looked even less red.
You traced the mark with a single finger, feeling his hand tighten against your own as you did. “I think this means, it’d be very hard for me to actually hate you.”
He let out a small breath. You let go of his mark, and moved your hand to fix back the few hairs that had been pushed out of his face. To your surprise he raised his own free hand, not letting you move those hairs. Instead he moved to hold your hand close up to his face, to his mouth. Then he kissed your palm, his own hand running down to your wrist.
And then the burn no longer hurt. It sealed, secure and fair. Still new, but healing, growing.
You held each other's hands for the rest of the night, a little worried what may happen if you let go. Soft words shared, as you learned about the other, sometimes squeezing the others hands, feeling the way the name on your wrist flared at particularly strong emotions.
You didn’t know what destiny had in store for you, what would happen to either of you or to Zaun. But for tonight at least, it was just the two of you, safe on the couch, enjoying this new feeling.

Of All People....Why Me? (Viktor x Reader x Vander)
Chapter One
Y/n’s Pov
“Thanks for stopping by.” I said as the customer left my shop. Sighing, I collapsed in my chair in exhaustion. ‘Why are people so stubborn?’ I thought to myself, frustrated after the last customer tried to rob me. I suppose I should be used to it by now.
Everyone always try and take advantage of my kindness. It's been like this as long as I can remember. Ever since.........the war. Shaking my head and clearing my thoughts, I began tidying up the shop to close when all of a sudden, the door was kicked in and glass shattered everywhere.
Letting out a loud shriek, I ducked behind the counter to prevent getting cut by any of the shards. As I cowered behind the counter, I heard multiple footsteps running in and out. It was as if they were looking for something.
I slowly peeked my head up and jumped when I saw a pair of eyes staring right back at me. Screaming, I tried scrambling away and looking for a way to escape, only to be pulled back by my collar harshly. I was soon thrown to the floor in the middle of the shop and my hair was yanked tightly, making small whimpers escape from my throat.
"Well, well. It seems like the rumors were true, boys. It seems like Little Miss Y/n, the Lanes' resident goody-goody, is a mage after all." A gruff voice chimed, sarcasm and taunts lacing each word. "What are you talking about? I'm not a mage." I hissed, trying not to show any hint of hesitation.
Kissing his teeth, the lead ambusher leaned down and landed a harsh smack across my face. I yelped in pain as my head whipped itself to the right. Bringing my face forward, he began to squeeze, putting more pressure on the growing bruise. "Now, I don't like it when people, especially people like you, lie to me. So, I'm gonna ask you a few questions. Get them right and I'll let you go. Get them wrong.....well, who knows what I might do to such a pretty girl like yourself..."
Seeing as he and goons wouldn't let me go, I began to hatch a plan once he started speaking. With each question, I told a lie. On some of them, he believed it. On others, I got more bruises and cuts. What seemed like a few minutes felt like hours to me and I was beginning to feel exhausted.
"Last question, where is the portal to the topside?" That question perked my ears up. 'How did they know?' I thought to myself. I felt myself begin to shake as my nerves got the better of me. I never told anyone about the portal, so how did he know? How did some low-life gangster figure out that I had an all-access pass to the topside.
"I don't know what you're talking about. The only way up to topside is through the elevator dock. There's no portal." It seemed like my answer didn't please him. Throwing a quick, hard punch to my ribs, I could feel one of them crack before I began sputtering up blood. "TEAR THIS PLACE APART AND FIND THAT PORTAL!! Once you find it, kill the girl." The man shouted, sending his lackeys into a frenzy.
They wrecked my shop even more then what they did before. Books were torn. Glass covered the floor. These men were hellbent on finding that portal, but they would never find it. As their leader walked away, I managed to rise onto my feet as adrenaline began coursing through my veins.
"You'll never find it." I whispered. "What did you say, bitch?" "I said, you'll never be able to find the portal." "And why's that?" "....Because you and your gang of petty criminals will be dead before you step foot outside the shop."
Tensing up, he turned around to hit me only to find that I wasn't there. Gasping, he began to whip around, trying to find me. While he was distracted, I snuck up behind him before wrapping my arm around his neck. "You and your gang chose the wrong day to mess with me. Now, die." I muttered in his ear, snapping his neck with such force that it almost decapitated him.
Once his lifeless body collapsed to the ground, I began to make work of the rest of his friends. One by one, they all fell from a snap of their necks to dying from quick and easy blood loss. As the adrenaline began to wear off, I made quick work of disposing the body as much as I could since I started to feel the extent of my injuries.
After I burned each of the bodies, I stepped outside of my now destroyed shop. 'I need to find help before I pass out from all this blood I've been losing.' I concluded before heading down the street.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As I made my way down deeper into the Lanes, I made harsh contact with someone's shoulder. Not long after, I began seeing flashes of a man with a tainted eye standing outside of a blazing building, hovering over someone. It looked like he was about to kill them before the next scenario flashed next. It was the same man with a blue-haired woman wearing twin braids while she held her head in her hands. She seemed to be suffering from something. The next flash came by quick and it was now only the woman from before standing over this man's body, crying and mumbling the name 'Silco' and apologizing over and over.
It all ended when I was pushed to the ground. Looking up, I saw that it was the man from my vision. 'This must be Silco....' "Out of the way, you disgusting piece of scum." "Sorry...." I mumbled, trying to ignore what I saw. I turned around and continued to make my way through the city, but each step was becoming more and more difficult to take.
I continued to make my way, slowing down to catch my breath every once in awhile until I found myself in front of a building. Looking up to the sign, it read ‘The Last Drop’. “There might be someone in here that can help.” Making my way inside, a voice bellowed through the empty room. “We’re closed.” The voice said, a heavy accent laying on the words. I looked up to find the person who spoke and my eyes found a big, burly man and a few kids near a bar counter.
The kids had turned around to see who he was talking to and once they saw me, they let out a loud gasp. That managed to grab the man’s attention as he himself turned around right after. His eyes landed on my battered and bruised form and they widened. “Please.....help me......” I weakly let out as the last bit of adrenaline left my veins. Once that happened, my body collapsed to the floor.
This sent the kids into a panic and they scrambled towards where I laid limp. “Vander, hurry! She needs help!” One of the kids. sounding feminine, screamed. My eyes fluttered to her and they widened. ‘Blue hair.....she has blue hair like the girl in my vision.....’ I thought to myself. My vision began to grow blurry and the exhaustion kicked in. My eyes began to close and the last thing I heard was from the bar man.
“Who did this to you?”
Author’s Note: And here it is, the somewhat long-anticipated first chapter of the new series. This was exciting to write since I watched the first episode of Arcane. I don’t really have much to say except for I hope you guys enjoy it as much I did writing it. You also may have notice the use of ‘I’ in this author’s note and that is because there are a bunch of us working on each series we have and we give each other the rights to publish a chapter whenever we can. Just wanted to throw that in there in case anyone was confused. Anyways, let us know what you think and please don’t be afraid to send in any requests you’d like us to complete in the meantime. With that being said, Stay Classy~
Die in your arms tonight // Silco.
Silco x gender neutral! reader.
A/N: Now this might be ooc. I wasn't feeling good at all so i write this just because. So it's probably bad.
Tw: self harm, suicide, blood, cutting.
The contaminated breeze of Zaun hits your face while jumping between buildings. You stopped at one in particular.
The Last Drop, your eyes looked over the edge, it was pretty high and you could easily died if you slipped.
Just a step and everything would be better,
No more pain.
"What are you doing up here? I thought you didn't fancy the heights, my dear." Silco's voice interrupted your thoughts.
"Just practicing some jumps." You said looking at the polluted sky of the undercity.
"Well come inside, it's quite cold." He lifts his head and inspected the environment you supposedly like.
"I like it cold, Sil." You reassured him.
"My dear, you will get sick." Silco remarked before going inside the building. You sigh and gave a last look to the floor where you could picture yourself dead.
"I haven't see you on a while and now you suddenly appear on the roof?" He asks while walking, you lowered your head.
You don't work for Silco really, he is your friend so you do him favors instead, so he can't really complain about you not going everyday to get a new mission, you would go to him and ask him if he needs anything from you.
Like good friends do.
"I was just— jumping a little and sorry, I should have told you I was coming, my dear." you mocked the way he address you but that makes Silco blush a little, no noticeable to your eyes.
"You should tell me the reason behind your absence." He said and stops at the door of his office, he lets you walk in first.
"I was busy on other project." You explained and sat on front of his desk.
"Oh really, was it worth the five months?" Asked Silco grabbing a cigar, you look at his hands, his movements are so delicate yet so rough.
"Totally—why are you so nosy all of the sudden?" You asks and he looks at you, you smirked.
"Awww Silco did you miss me?" You teased and walked next to his desk, with a little jump your on it.
Silco gets closer to you, his arm at your side, traping you below him.
"Come on, sweet cheeks. Did you miss me?" You play with his hair and it ends on his face, he sighs and pulls it back again.
"I suppose I did." He whispered.
Missed you? Silco thinks of you everyday. Are you safe? Are you injured? Are you getting enough sleep, food, etcetera.
"I missed you too." Your mouth reveals your thoughts without your knowledge.
"Do you need something else from me?" You asked grabbing his mug and drinking from his coffee, you gag.
"BlAcK c0fFee" You said between your expression of disgust, you shake your head trying to erase the taste from your mouth.
"I need you to keep constant communication with me, lovely." He leans closer to your face, grabbing the mug and putting it on the desk again, his hand grabs your thigh.
His hand makes your thighs burns.
You try not to make any expression.
"Why?" You asked and Silco gaves you a look, after all this years and you ask why?.
Is he really that distant with you that you don't know why would he want to keep contact with you?.
"Just do it." He ordered, his bicolored eyes meet yours, you feel your cheeks warm.
"Right—right— just don't look at me like that, Mister" You acknowledge, Silco looks away. Your giggle makes his eyes look at you again.
"What is so funny?" He asks.
"Do you want a kiss or why are you so close to my face?" You teased and Silco arches his eyebrow, you giggle again.
Leaning closer, your hand pulls his tie and you kissed him, a little peek on the lips but he continues your lips are soft in contrast of his rough ones.
Your tastes is addictive, you broke apart the kiss, but Silco leaned closer for another one.
"There. Happy?" You pulled away from him but a nervous smile.
The last time you kissed Silco was decades ago and it was a dare with Vander, this one was sincere.
You didn't allow him to answer your question, you leave his office way too quick.
You cursed to yourself, why would him do this to you? Why when you are at your worst he wants to keep more contact, why did you kiss him?
You can't love him, you don't deserve his love, or any kind of love.
"I am." He said to the wind, hoping no one would hear.
"Gross." Jinx spoke from the ceiling.
"Jinx!" Silco shouted.
You got into your home and rapidly took off you pants.
"Shit."
The cuts in your thighs were still open. Rushing towards the bathroom you grabbed something to clean you.
You prayed that Silco didn't saw the blood when you were on his office.
You were going to change the bandage when you suddenly grabbed your fingers touched your abandoned pocket knife instead.
Your eyes widen and everything stops.
"A couple more won't hurt."
They weren't a couple.
You got tired of your thighs and passed to your arms, it was a painful shower and a even more painful sleep.
The next day you woke up earlier than usual, you decided to go and give Silco another visit. You were feeling a little happier than yesterday.
The Last Drop was already open, you immediately walk to Silco's office opening the door without knocking.
"Two days in a row? Are you going to kill yourself or what?" Sevika talked while you entered, you uncomfortably laugh.
"You are such a lovely lady." You said and looked at Silco.
"Sevika, leave." He ordered. Sevika gave you one of her creppy looks and you blow a kiss to her, Silco turned his chair and inspected you.
"What is the purpose of your visit?" Silco asked, you sat on the chair infront of his desk.
"You said you wanted more communication, so here I am— communicating" He noticed that you looked way more hyped and the day before, you even brushed your hair and everything.
All week you would go to talk to Silco, just to chat, no favors, nothing more, while the days progressed he saw your mood change for the better, or so he thought.
You thought you were getting better too, now you are back on your bathroom floor bleeding and just before when you go to see Silco, you shakily grabbed some bandages and did your best to put them correctly, you weren't sure but probably you cut way to deep in one of your arms, they were too many cuts to see witch one was the worse one.
You felt dizzy but you didn't care, you wanted to see Silco anyways, you love his company.
He is your only company.
Silco knew something was wrong with you, but he was waiting for you to open up.
"Knock knock." you said while entered into his office, you looked as shiny and full of energy as usual.
"Is everything alright, Silco?" The way that he was looking at you was a little odd, you walk towards him and you sat on his lap.
"Everything is alright with me, what about you?" He said cupping your cheek.
"I'm feeling—well" you told him, he doesn't look convinced at all but he doesn't push it.
You rested on his lap while he smokes, you feel tired, so so tired, you close your eyes, Silco won't mind if you fell sleep on his lap.
"Darling?" He felt something wet on his chest, he looks at you, your bleeding.
You open your eyes and you are now on Silco's bed, you just assumed that he left you there after you feel sleep, you came to your senses and feel the new and better bandage in your arms and legs.
You looked to your side and saw Silco smoking like crazy, he sees you and quickly forgets his cigar and gets closer to you, you've never seen Silco so desperate, he seems broken.
"Wh-I-" Now that's concerning, Silco doesn't stutter when he talks.
"Why you didn't tell me you weren't feeling alright!?" His voice braking, his manners, the blood on his expensive clothing, he was so desperate.
You stayed silent, Silco grabbed your hand.
"I can't lose you" The silence is broken by his voice, the words that brake it make your eyes watering.
"I can't live without you" He said.
"You'll find someone better" You said, your cold tone was going to fully break the damaged man Infront of you.
"I won't, you are irreplaceable, you are the best thing I have, one of the two persons I will burn this town for" He admitted.
"I'm sorry, Silco" You said.
"You don't have to apologize, my darling, I do, I have neglected you—"
"It's not your fault that I feel this way, I have too much in my head—" You interrupted him, his eyes got fixated in you.
"Please talk to me, my dear, I love you so much, please I want to help you" Silco said, his tone so gentile that it makes your heart break.
