In a Blink and You Can't Get Hurt by the Things You Don't Know are the only two fics of mine that are named after lyrics from songs from the actual game (in a blink being the more obvious one lol. the latter's name comes from My Heart Feels No Pain).

The End of the Rockstar's title comes from the song Popstar by New Hollow (which is also where the first chapter's title comes from). actually, the whole of the Escapism AU is inspired by that song

originally, in chapter 5 of TEOTRS, chai was actually going to go to the scrapyard and leave cnmn there.

the socks chai puts on in chapter 6 are based off of these

also the jacket and boots he puts on in that chapter are meant to be the punk jacket & boots from the in-game set

the clothes he wears at the start of that chapter are the "jacket" from the prototype set, these sweatpants, and the scarf from the player 2 set

as some might remember, in the original version of In a Blink, i put some implications in that kale was into chai. i have long since removed that because between then and now, i have grown to dislike the pairing. the only reason i included it (and really shipped them at all) was because i just thought it'd be funny

there's a couple of fics i wrote for Escapism that have since been deleted for various reasons. said fics are Win Win (because i was going to rewrite it), 24 (felt kind of out of place & i was going to include it in a fic that covered some things from the gang's pov), and Dreams and Lies (felt kind of derivative in hindsight & out of place)

Meet the (New) Department Heads' title is a reference to TF2's Meet the Team videos. i was originally going to just called it Meet the Department Heads, but i wanted to save that for if i ever decided to do something with the canon heads (which i do plan on, though i haven't decided if that's what the fic will be called)

Lightning in a Bottle is named after a song by Watt White. it was originally called Undead Lullaby (named after a song by JT Music), before i changed it because that original title didn't really fit with what the au is actually about, seeing as chai isn't undead, just a demon

the first chapter of Lightning in a Bottle was going to essentially be 2 chapters in one, lining up with how i personally like to play through hfr's tracks (if i don't have time to do more, that is) (i play them in sets)

more about that first chapter: early on, when i was first writing the summoning scene, i included macaron and cnmn. i removed them after i wound up making that fic into a whole Big Longfic with a Proper Story, because originally it was just going to be a small, fun halloween thing

ah I don't know how to like put this properly into words but I just want to apologise to everyone who has messaged me in the last few months and I haven't like really given a reply to... it wasn't because the messages said anything bad or wrong but bc I'm just really introverted and with everything going on in the world and the whole dc/handong situation I'm just having a lot of trouble processing since everything is just really overwhelming so I just really can't like hm like listen properly? and ik I should apologise to these people directly but I can't really remember who it was anymore... I just can't really match most of you guys enthusiasm for dc rn tbh, it's not something that I can share very well atm, and it's not necessarily like my feelings for them have changed at its core bc they haven't since i am still doing everything i used to do that no one rly sees but it's more like I feel like I'm in this place in time where I'm just not a good version of myself and I don't like I don't really want people to see this more than they have to if that makes sense and also I just feel like what I feel for dc is actually one of the things that makes me feel ok so bc of the position i am in rn I can't really share it properly with anyone bc I feel like if I do I will just lose it and that probably doesn't make any sense but idk how to explain it any better. I do hope I can go back to sharing the whole insomnia experience like before with you guys soon, that's one of the things I've missed the most too in the last few months

Okay, here's a question: writing. One thing I really admire about your writing is how you keep up a really good word count but still make your stories easy to read with a good flow. And you somehow end up with like, 20k? The longest thing I've ever written is maybe 10k, and it's hard to read because I stuffed so many metaphors and figurative language into it. I guess it's a delicate balance of having enough metaphors and/or figurative language while also balancing out with dialouge (but when i get in a fig. language flow, it's difficult to stop).

(and, how do you start and stop? I usually start from a line of dialouge or just choose something from my notes, but typically I don't have the greatest writing prompts, and Pinterest only gives me romantic-based ones.) (Either way, I end my stuff really abruptly because I a) get tired of writing it, b) cant find a way to finish it, or c) the ending feels finite).

TL;DR: How do you keep a consistent writing flow without it getting hard to read? And how do you end stories and fic smoothly?

Hmmm writing. A lot of that comes down to style. I write pretty straightforward. I don't use very flowery language, I don't use that many metaphors or similes. I like to be efficient with my words, for the most part. That's just preference - I like how that flows, it has a cadence to it in my head that I find easy to write and read. But there's nothing wrong with flowery language or leaning more heavily on figurative language. You say it flows when you're doing it, so just let it flow. If you're feeling bogged down by it, take the pressure off. Write the basics of whatever you're trying to say and move on. You can always come back and add to it, amp up the word choice or descriptors. Or the opposite, trim it back. Writing is just all a big experiment and you throw words on a page to see what sticks. Don't be afraid to rewrite if it's not reading how you want it(but don't delete the original bit! A hybrid of the different rewrites might be what you're looking for).

For word count, I don't worry about it. A thing will be as long as it needs to be. I don't sit down and go "this will be 20k" and then write 20k. I'm never right, anyway, when I come in with an estimate, so I don't bother. Knowing myself and with how much I've written now, I do know I trend towards 5-7k for what I like for chapter lengths, but I don't hold myself to that. Sometimes they're shorter, sometimes they're longer. For the most part, if words are flowing then words are flowing and I don't worry about it. If you're finding yourself getting stuck at a certain length, unsure what to write next, I'd suggest just taking a step back from it. If you're psyching yourself out about the length, that's going to make words harder. Take a walk, roll the scene/plot around in your head and figure out what bit's got you stuck. Work on other things and come back to it later. The cool thing about fanfic is there is no deadline and at the end of the day, it's just for you. No bit of writing is wasted because you had fun doing it and it's practice so you'll be that much better on the next project, even if you never finish that initial one. Except for JT, my first... three? fics probably won't ever be finished. That's fine. I look at them fondly sometimes but they did their job, bit me with the writing bug, and it's more effort than it's worth to edit them up and finish them. I've moved on. That's fine.

Starting and stopping. I have said this before, but I'm a chaotic writer. I do not outline. I do not have notes. I write non-chronologically. I start where I have words, I stop when I'm out of words. I know there's lots of tips out there about stopping on dialogue? mid sentence? idk, but stopping x way so it's easier to pick back up again. I just throw words wherever I have words.

I don't write from prompts. I have specific things and ideas I like to write, which is why my official request policy is "you can always ask and I'll probably say no but I'll be really nice about it". Every once in a while, someone will align with me and it will spark something; take that as a challenge if you want, I do like knowing what ideas people are thinking about even if I'm not going to write them. But I tend to stay away from prompt lists or fills - I personally don't find them helpful and I get enough inspiration wandering around my everyday life. That's what works for me. Everyone is different.

Last bit - endings. I tend to write slice-of-life, which takes a lot of pressure off of ending because when the moment is over, you just end the fic. Boom. Done. For things with actual plot - Sometimes Age, HIT, Searching for Good Times - I wish I had more coherent advice. In figuring out how long of legs a longer fic has, I do usually figure out where it's running to. Sometimes it's self-evident or where I started in thinking about the idea - Five had to confront Delores, the Hargreeves need to get out of Number's timeline, Five aged himself up and will age himself back down. If it's angsty, I want to end on a lighter moment, usually between siblings for a talk or a hug, because that's satisfying for everyone. I like to end on a "looking forward" note - Five thinking about his next year in Rusty Cog, Five thinking about how he's going to fix things in Sometimes Age, Allison thinking about how they're going to be there for Five in Searching for Good Times. I think it ends things on a nice note, final but not slammed shut. Idk if any of that is helpful.

I think the TL:DR of all this is practice. You figure out what works for you, what you like, how you like to do it. I've read A Lot, I've been writing obsessively for two years and making stories in my head for over a decade before that. Just keep at it and you'll figure it out :)

💖 you know. I actually don.t remember. I don't think it was a single reason though, to be honest. I think i started writing my first when i was still in 9th grade, roght after i read only time (travel) will tell (which has since been deleted and linked again from the wayback machine on @miraculousdeletedfics) and where have all the heroes gone and where are all the gods. In other words. I was obsessed with time travel and the idea of second generation heroes and i had this a4 notebook that looked legit like shit and i just wdote in it a lot. Nino was the guardian. I genuinely can’t tell), deepening and complicating the sonic texture of Drewchin’s study of parsing through emotions you aren’t ready to make sense of yet.

“WAP”’s funnier, classless Irish twin, though it’s important to note “Pussy Talk” came first. Jessy Lanza is talking about losing your cool, letting your emotions get the best of you and lashing out instead of letting cooler heads prevail, but when that earworm of a chorus hits- “once I’m spinning, I can’t stop spinning” - I can’t stop spinning. I’m that woman on the single art, a wine mom lost in the delirium of the dance floor and in Lanza’s hypnotic, fragmented rhythms.

Skittering synths (or is that distorted flute?) complicate and enrich the texture of the song, allowing it to build organically and stunningly towards a heartbreaking plea to herself- “Hannah, do no harm.”

15. “FIRE”- WAXAHATCHEE

When I’d drive back and forth between Dallas and Austin over and over again when I was in college, I’d often get off I-35 past Waco and take the back roads through towns I’d never heard of, the sun setting spectacularly behind the titular hills of Hill Country that were beginning to roll out in earnest. I think about that a lot when listening to “Fire,” a song dripping in rural Americana that was, unsurprisingly, inspired by a road trip. We’ve probably all been Katie Crutchfield as she crossed the bridge into West Memphis- alone in the car, awed by the simple beauty of the American countryside, making speeches to ourselves about our past mistakes and figuring out a way forward.

On an album full of genre departures and decidedly darker themes than we’ve typically heard from Haim in their near decade of syncopated bubblegum pop rock, “3AM” stands out not only as their most effective stab at pastiche, slipping into the trappings of contemporary R&B with shocking ease and gusto, but also as their most unabashedly fun track in their entire oeuvre. “I think you can hear the amount of joy and laughs we had making this song” Alana Haim tells Apple Music, and you absolutely can.

I often wonder if I’m putting enough effort into maintaining my relationships with friends I don’t see regularly, who live several time zones away, living their own lives while I live mine. When the thought of sustaining simple correspondence becomes overwhelming, it’s easy for months to go by before you realize you haven’t spoken to one of your closest friends. “QADIR” plays less like a eulogy for a friend gone too soon (though of course it is that) than a plea to the listener to put in the work. It’s worth it. You never know when it’ll be too late.

12. “LEVITATING”- DUA LIPA

“Glitter in the sky, glitter in our eyes shining just the way we are.”

Just a few bars of that delightfully bouncy, extra-terrestrial beat is enough to launch me into space. It’s so refreshing to hear a song that remembers that pop is supposed to be joyful and is best when it’s a bit silly. When discussing this track with Apple Music, Dua Lipa cites Austin Powers as inspiration, elaborating that “if I do a video for this, Mike Meyers has to be in it.” Can’t you just see them together, performing a farcical pas de deux of seduction like the spiritual successor to “Beautiful Stranger?”

Arca’s made a career of harnessing chaos and somehow making sense of it. On an album that finds her embracing more traditional, accessible song structures, “Riquiqui” is a reminder that even when working within an AB structure, she’s still breaking rules left and right and having a blast doing it. She’s also never sounded so ferociously empowered in either her femininity or in her Venezuelan identity, rattling off local colloquialisms with affection and verve without a second thought as to who’s going to understand it.

Mike Hadreas has never sounded so hopeless. Utilizing harsh, rattling guitar that would make Kevin Shields swoon, he conveys the experience of being so estranged from happiness and joy that you need to rely on others to describe the sensation to you. But how, when exploring darker textures than he ever has before, does he make despondency sound so divine? 

7. “4 AMERICAN DOLLARS”- U.S. GIRLS

“No matter how much you get to have, you will still die and that’s the only thing.”

Meg Remy picks up where she left off on “4 American Dollars,” reviving the subversive pastiche she mastered on In a Poem Unlimited, this time harnessing the power of funk to dismantle the fallacies we’re taught about the virtues of capitalism. Heavy stuff, but Remy makes it less didactic than joyous, ensuring the listener will be singing “I don’t believe in pennies and nickels and dimes and dollars and pesos and pounds and rupees and yen and rubles” until they start to wonder if maybe they shouldn’t, either. 

6. “STUPID LOVE”- LADY GAGA

“I freak out, I freak out, I freak out, I freak out!”

Due to a healthy spirit of contrarianism mixed with a touch of internalized homophobia and genuine bafflement at her universal appeal and praise, I was a proud Lady Gaga hater for as long as she’d been a cultural entity. I just didn’t get her at all and loved that about myself. Annoying, I know. 2020 was the year I was finally ready to let that all go. Just before the world fell apart in March, I was out at Flaming Saddles (RIP) with friends the night this song came out and by the sixteenth time it played, I understood why it was inducing such hysteria. This was a cultural shift. After a frustrating near-decade of Gaga subverting expectations so thoroughly that she was actively working against her strengths and sabotaging her cultural ubiquity in the process, coupled with the most frightening era of political upheaval in our lifetimes, she was finally ready to save us and be Lady Gaga again. Booming synth, drag sensibilities, absurd thematic conceits- all was right in the world. For the first time in a long time, people had something to be hopeful about, and as I danced that night, I felt that hope, too. 

5. “SHELLFISH MADEMOISELLE”- RÓISÍN MURPHY

“How dare you sentence me to a lifetime without dancing?”

As soon as that bass starts (the funkiest bassline in the history of music?) it’s like Róisín Murphy’s snake charming oboe, coaxing even the most stalwart curmudgeon onto the dancefloor and keeping them there, dancing frantically and involuntarily like the citizens of Strasbourg in 1518, trying their best to keep up with Murphy who isn’t even breaking a sweat, commanding the masses with a sultry remove, beckoning you closer, pulling you inexorably deeper into the mass of gyrating bodies and whispering in your ear “come and have a dance with yer mum.”

4. “PARTY 4 U”- CHARLI XCX

“I only threw this party for you...”

As PC Music / Bubblegum Bass / whatever you want to call it enters its second decade, Charli XCX proves not only that there’s still new textures to explore within it, but also that no one can exploit its artifice to get down to emotional truths like she can. How can she make something this slick sound so vulnerable? “I only threw this party for you” she croons over and over again over glorious syncopated synths that build exquisitely, reaching their climax only to immediately fall away, until it’s just her and her trusty autotune, pleading with the subject of the song to just come to the damn party. But they won’t, of course. They never do, do they?

3. “WAP”- CARDI B, FT. MEGAN THEE STALLION

“I want you to touch that lil’ dangly thing that swing in the back of my throat!”

Sometimes you just immediately know you’re living through a significant cultural moment. No, not COVID. I’m talking about the experience of hearing Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s instant classic “WAP” for the first time, a titanic meeting of the minds that finds both of them at the apex of their cultural influence and at their most undeniable. Can the argument be made that these two aren’t the two best rappers in the game right now? How could you hear this inspiredly filthy sex positive juggernaut, where Cardi and Megan are trading the sickest verses of their careers, and not think these two deserve the world?

really tired of my Cis™ sister repeatedly telling me about how she's so scared to get too short of a haircut because she "doesn't want to look like a guy because, like, I don't ~identify~ as a guy" as if she really has any issue whatsoever with people recognizing her as a girl!

and today with her "I don't identify as a guy" thing. just the way she phrased it and everything really kinda pissed me off. just say you're not a guy you don't have to fucken use that word. esp since she's only been talking like this since I came out.

and its extra annoying bc we've had essentially the same conversation about her insecurities multiple times, and it's like she doesn't even think about how I feel hearing it. like if getting a damn haircut was enough to make everybody suddenly think ur a dude, my life would be so much easier. but it doesn't work that way and her acting like it does just... hurts. it frustrates me and makes me dysphoric bc having to reassure her that no, you won't look like a dude just bc you have short hair makes me think of how it's the same for me, except that I WANT to be seen as a guy. SO BADLY.

am I hypocritical because I get annoyed that my cis, feminine sister needs so many reassurances about her gender presentation? am I just being a dick?? MAYBE, IDK! like... if my sister was a trans girl, of course I'd understand her concerns. of course I would. but she has nothing to worry about because she's cis and her body has all the right parts and she doesn't have to do jack shit to get recognized as her gender.

number of fics: 14 (lol, 5 over the course 3 years in t100 fandom and 9 since joining the GG fandom at the beginning of s3, you could say I have been inspired)

fic i spent the most time on: a song inside the halls of the dark for sure, it’s the first multi chapter I’ve ever done and I’m far enough into it that I will be super honest, I was extremely dubious over whether or not I’d actually see it through when I started but huzzah! It’s happening. But yeah, I spend like, a lot of time thinking about it, writing it (lmao obvs), rewatching clips of the show to pick apart characterization and mannerisms, etc, etc. I try to work on it in some capacity every day (sometimes that just means outlining or deleting chunks of my outline and crying about how much I hate myself) to keep up momentum so yeah, def that one.

As far as one shots go, there’s blood in my body (I’m holding on) for bellarke, I think I spent a month, maybe 6 weeks working on that

favorite fic i wrote: oh man, that’s hard. I love them all for different reasons. Blood was my first ever AU (I am a canon/canon-divergent ho) and it also deals with some stuff that’s important to me so that’s always going to have a special place in my heart. I’ve Got You Here was the first time I tried to tackle something bigger than a missing scene or short one-shot so that’s also significant.

I’m really proud of smoke, fire, it’s all going up because I think I did a p good job with the Rio POV there. I’d give her a HA! And a HI-YA! is special bc it’s my first outside POV and it was based on so little info it was basically OC, so that was a fun challenge.

All of that said, obviously, a song inside the halls in the dark is my fav. It’s been the biggest stretch of my skills (I had NO! IDEA! If I could plot and pace on the level required to sustain the fic I’d originally outlined and it’s only grown from there tbh), it’s also been like, the loveliest experience? I keep saying people’s reaction to it has broken my brain and I’m not actually just saying that. I’m deeply overwhelmed. And last but emphatically not least, it’s how I’ve gotten to know @nickmillerscaulk who, on top of being an incredible editor (seriously y’all, she is Skilled, I’ve learned so much from her), is such an awesome, amazing person and I’m so very glad we’ve become friends.

fic i want to rewrite/expand on: Oh man, idk. Pills N Potions is the easiest because it’s a prompt collection! Send me prompts! I can’t promise I’ll write them right away (my ADHD is so very real and only dubiously under my control during quarantine, so I live in constant terror of losing the thread of song especially this close to the end) but I def want to flex my quick and dirty short fic for funsies skills. Let me start by saying that I mostly kept this to information we’ve been given and tried to stay away from too many theories because this post got long. Because of that, I’m actually going to put everything I can find under a read more/keep reading tab. (Although that being said, I’m always happy to answer asks about theories, I just wanted to keep this post from becoming a ridiculous length).

There’s actually been a ton of information about Good Girls season 3 so far (albeit, some of it vague haha) so I’m sure I’ve missed some things. Saying that, I recommend checking out @pynkhues��� blog (which I’m sure you have), particularly this tag for extra details and discussions as well as info I might have missed (I find Sophie often posts about, reblogs, or is sent asks regarding details of season 3 quite regularly, ha).

The Good Girls tag on here is also great to check out as well as any official social media accounts for the show as well as cast and crew. To be honest, a lot of behind the scenes stuff is posted to IG stories which delete after 24 hours and I find they’re not always captured in time to find elsewhere. 

Anyway, everything below is split into sections and there are sources provided (said sources will potentially give extra information on top of what I’ve put!) I really hope this is organised enough for you and it’s not everything but I hope it’s what you were looking for! ^_^

Firstly, there’s this spoiler post that was made but if you don’t like spoilers and just want ‘official’ information that is announced on socials and through blog articles, I’d recommend skipping it :)

Saying that, they’re potentially filming right through till March (source). As of right now, we’ve definitely got about 7 episodes done in terms of table reads (and filming too I think?).

We got the titles for the first 3 episodes (source) and due to IG stories we know episode 7 is called, “Vegas, Baby!”

Information about previous cast members (not including the obvious, ha):

Basically every kid on the show has been photographed on set including David Miranda who plays Marcus (a lot of the kids have instagram and you’ll see a ton of sources there).

It’s possible Jessica Walter will be back as Judith (source)

Sally Pressman is back as Nancy (source)

I don’t think it’s been confirmed if Zach Gilford is back as Greg but if Nancy is back, I’m assuming he’ll at least make an appearance.

Carlos Aviles is back as one of Rio’s boys (source - he’s also posted in IG stories about it too)

Julian Grant who plays JT (the Quick Cash guy) is set to return for at least 3x01 according to IMDb (source)

Sam Huntington doesn’t seem to be coming back for season 3 (source - his thank you tweet after season 2 finished).

Allison Tolman is playing the lead in the show Emergence so probably won’t return for this season (I guess it depends on schedule but I doubt it).

New cast members:

Charlyne Yi was cast as the fourth good girl Lucy who was hinted at at the end of season 2 and was also teased in interviews with Jenna Bans (source)

Jackie Cruz was cast a Rhea (source) and while that source revealed that Rhea was going to become friends with Beth we now have information as to who else she’s connected to as well as first look pictures of both Rhea and Beth in season 3 (source - if you don’t want to be spoiled, I wouldn’t recommend checking that source)

Ione Skye was cast as Gayle who works with Dean at his new job at a hot tub store (source) and Ione has made a couple of instagram posts like this one and this one. And I also want to say she made some IG stories but they only last 24 hours so I can’t link any, ha.

Noureen Dewulf was cast as Krystal (source) - she’s also posted a few IG stories in the past which confirmed her character’s name and also showed her on set with various people but mainly Reno Wilson bringing about the idea that Krystal will be connected to stan.

Wesley Kimmel was cast as Tim (source) and there’s really no information about him that I’ve noticed but he’s often seen with the other kids in photos (mainly the Bolands) and a lot of people have pointed out he looks like Matthew Lillard so there’s speculation he’ll be connected to them (the other theory is that he’s Gayle’s son).

Brent Jeremiah was cast a Thug #2 lmao (source) but the interesting thing is that he actually mentioned working with Christina which means this ‘thug’ is likely connected to Beth’s journey into crime (whether that be good or bad remains to be seen though).

There was also an IG post about Alex Jayne Go on set or something but I can’t seem to find it, however, she’s listed as ‘Fiona’ in 3x03 on IMDb (source)

Naomi Grossman was cast as Dr Amanda Johnson (source) and her role is only a guest one so I’m not entirely sure how much we’ll see of her.

Megan Thee Stallion has been cast to appear although there’s not really any information on who she’ll be playing and whatnot (source)

Some behind the scenes stuff:

I don’t actually follow him but I’ve heard that Gabe Rodriguez who works on Good Girls often posts a bunch of behind the scenes stuff on his instagram. - I feel like it was him who posted a picture of a strip club or something which added fuel to the fire of Krystal being a stripper or something along those lines, ha.

Christina, Mae, and Retta were filming in a graveyard at one point (source) and Carlos Aviles also posted about the same set on his IG stories (source) so most likely Manny/Rio is involved in those scenes too.

There’s a printing press this season (source) and (I think) it was confirmed that Beth and co will be working with cards as part of their business (in 3x01 on IMDb there’s a listing for ‘young card customer’) and there was a photo floating around where you see the sign: “Paper Porcupine” in the background.

I’m 90% sure it was seen in slightly more HD versions of these photos which were actually some of the first we got of Manny/Rio on set, ha.

In some IG stories, Reno mentioned he couldn’t show his face because of spoilers which I’m guessing means either a) Stan is injured or b) his outfit gives something big away about his storyline.

Whenever the cast have posted pictures that show Manny onset (whether it be for table reads or filming) those posts are usually promptly deleted (like this one) meaning that the show is still trying to keep his fate ambiguous, most likely wanting to make his return a big surprise for fans who haven’t quite figured out he’s coming back.

Everleigh (Jane) and David (Marcus) are often photographed together and its probably cause they’re close in age and friends but there’s a high chance we’ll see Jane and Marcus become friends in season 3 (it also seems that Marcus will just be in this season a lot more than season 2 in general).

There’s this photo of Jackie, Christina, and Mae which could mean nothing but we know Rhea and Beth will have scenes together but, considering that photos was from September, I wonder if Annie (and Ruby) will meet Rhea pretty early on and share scenes with her, aha.

Yes, healing them, I always see people saying not to injure their muse without permission, that I wouldn't mind so much. What I really hate is when people heal my muses, especially with magic.

I like angst, injury/sickness/recovery threads are my favourite thing to write. If we start a thread based around being sick/injured and then they heal after only a couple replies, what was the point?

 Soji’s tuberculosis is unavoidable and NOT curable. This is the main one I had problems with. I have tried to tone it down a lot but he will still be sick in almost every thread.

Same goes for Remus, Juushiro, Haru, and Hearth, their conditions can not be cured. If you don’t want to play with a sick muse, I have others.

It’s not as bad as it used to be but it still happens.

can you sort your muses from weakest to strongest?

This one is hard, all my muses fight in completely different ways. Haru is definitely the weakest, then probably Hearth, then I would say the marauders. After that it would probably be Kondo, Soji and Toshi, then Sanji and Zoro, Juushiro and Shunsui are probably the strongest. The only one I’m unsure of is Nico, it’s been a while since I read a book where he fought.

which muse are you considering deleting?

Might delete Zoro and Sanji, don’t care for them too much and no one seems to want to interact.

Though Autofill isn’t as elegant or as security-minded as, say, 1Password, it’s free to use. You can view, delete, and edit stored passwords. If you’re making the switch from another password. Use 1Password as an authenticator for sites with two-factor authentication I am new to 1password and considering using 1P as a 2fa. İs this only available on desktop or is jt available on all platforms.

There’s a lot of chatter in the information security community how SMS 2FA is awful, and with all the recent high-profile cases of sim swapping attacks due to useless Telco’s or susceptible employees, you would have good reason to think that. For further reading, see Brian Krebs fairly recentarticle on an example of why SMS based 2FA is bad and what we should be using in place of it.

How to use 1Password as an authenticator for Laravel Forge with two-factor authentication 1Password is an excellent piece of software I highly recommend it if you are serious. One feature that may not be obvious is that 1Password can handle 2FA authentication too. In this article. The Microsoft Authenticator app can be used to sign in to any Azure AD account without using a password. Microsoft Authenticator uses key-based authentication to enable a user credential that is tied to a device, where the device uses a PIN or biometric. Disclaimer: I work for 1Password, a password manager that is also an authenticator app for storing one-time passwords. Set up 2-Step Verification for your Google account 1. Go to the 2-Step Verification page. You might have to sign in to your Go.

A common safer alternative to SMS based 2FA is TOTP or Time-based One-time Password. TOTP is similar to SMS 2FA by virtue that you still need a code to authenticate your identity into whatever application it is you are signing into. This code is computed based on the current time and a shared secret seed. It will be refreshed after a time period, usually about 30 seconds. You can read more about the technology behind it here.

Typically, users will have to install an application like Google Authenticator to see their TOTP code for their intended applications. Setting up 2FA is quite easy, users usually (and this is the typical use case) scan the QR code the application provides which will register it to your authenticator app.

So where does 1Password come in? If you have 1Password, there is no a need for an extra application like Google Authenticator. 1Password has this TOTP feature baked right in to the Android and IOS applications and Chrome extension. For the Chrome extension, go to your desired website and begin setting up 2FA. When you see the QR code on your screen, open the 1Password extension and you will see this:

Click the circled QR code button and 1Password will scan the QR code on the web page and viola, it’s registered. You should see a new section below your other details with the TOTP code. On some sites, the 2FA code will even autofill for you.

For the Android and IOS apps, go to your login details, click add new section then add new field and click one time password. You’ll see a QR code option, click that and the camera will open to allow you to scan the QR code on your screen.

The main reason I prefer this is that it’s device agnostic. That is to say, it will work over many devices and systems (e.g. IOS, Android, Chrome, Safari, Windows etc.). I’ve always worried about losing my mobile phone and the authenticator app along with it. If that situation occurs and you do not have your backup recovery codes for your applications, you’re in a world of trouble. Or imagine another situation at an internet café or library and you, for some reason, don’t have your mobile on you and need to login to an account.

These days, I use 1Password for 2FA for the sites and applications that support it, and store my backup codes in the notes section for that login. Everything is in one place, accessible from any device I have an internet connection to. Convenience at no extra cost.

God that scene with when he’s following Abel around the shopping center and the music that was playing 😭. S3 had a bomb soundtrack too! I know S3 wasn’t well received, but I think I liked it because the lore was great! I mean we got to find our more about JT and the Ireland connection. Lol that’s so wrong! He would have got back with her either way, her pregnancy just snapped him out of the shit with Abel. Kind of? The tattoo was a crow and that’s basically the mark of an old lady. Gemma, Luanne, and Lyla all have one. Wendy might too, I don’t really remember?? There was also a deleted scene in S2 when Gemma is giving her a pep talk on the whole Ima thing. She pulls up the back of her shirt and says somethings about the tattoo, like unleashing that side of Tara and showing the girls that he’s with her. I really wish they kept that scene in! Tara got that as a teenager to show that she was Jax’s old lady. A lot of people theorize that the placement was for Jax, so he’s the only one that can see it. I mean Gemma had hers on her boob and Lya had it on her shoulder, both visible spots. Tara probably got it on her lower back so Jax was the only one to see it.
