Teyvat, the twins, and the Archons: a theory
Hello today I will be explaining my genshin impact theory which is most likely right because I say so and I have an inflated ego
Note: I will be referring to the MC as traveler and the Leader of the Abyss Order as such or as the missing twin for neutrality’s sake. And also because I chose Lumine and I can’t bear to say Lumine is “evil”
Note after writing all of that: Actually, I’m wrong. Reading it made me realize how batshit off the rails it all sounds. But here it is anyways because it’s a funny theory.
Contains multiple spoilers for the entirety of the game (1.3 edition)
Part 1. Gnosticism, Archons, and Humanity
I think by now, most of us have heard of the Gnosticism theory. If you haven't heard of it, Gnosticism is the belief that humanity could be more than what we are at present because of the world we're in.
Gnosticism has many versions but the basic concept of it is that humans are stuck in a fake world where our full potential is locked away because of our belief in false gods. The true God is the creator of the true world and between us and him, are beings called Aeons. One Aeon who is called Sophia (meaning Wisdom) created a being who thought of himself as the One True God and created the physical world in his flawed image. Oh, and he gave seven beings rule over the world he created, who are called the Archons.
Under Gnosticism, humans are thought to be part physical, but also have a spiritual component in us that grants us divinity. But because the false god and archons actively work to make sure we never realize that there is divinity within us, we never reach our full potential.
Connecting this with genshin impact, the humans in Teyvat have access to visions that give them power, as well as a chance to attain godhood. However, they believe that it is a gift from Celestia instead of a thing any of them can attain themselves. In fact, they don't even know that if one "receives" a vision, they can become gods because it's a secret that only Archons are privy to. Venti says this himself at the end of the prologue section of the main storyline when we ask him about visions.
It seems like Celestia doesn’t want humans to ascend to godhood. If we pair this  with what we know from the Main Storyline trailer that Dainsleif narrates, it becomes clearer. He says that Celestia goads humans with their seven treasures, rewards for the worthy, the doorway to divinity. However, it seems like there is a warning for those who dare to try and ascend, as if they say that the throne in the sky is not for us even if we have the means to.
Doesn’t that seem to contradict the purpose of the vision? Yes, it is a means to help humans live in Teyvat, but why give out visions when the Archons know fully well that it could help them gain access to Celestia? Doesn't it then seem like visions are not gifts from the Archons but instead innate power that all humans possess?
Part 2. What are the twins + What is Dainsleif + What are they doing in Teyvat + the Genesis Pearl = A Loop
Most signs point to the idea that the twins are actually older than they look. It seems like Lumine and Aether landed in Teyvat at least 500 years ago during the cataclysmic event that wiped out Khaenri’ah.
Going back to the idea of Gnosticism, the true God sends out Messengers of Light to the false world to guide the humans to their full potential. And we see traveler helping their companions ascend further, reaching their fullest potentials when they “max out.”
Furthermore, it doesn’t seem like they’re human. During the 1.2 Dragonspine event, Albedo does tests on us, and though he doesn’t tell us his complete findings, he alludes that we are like him, created from a substance that is yet to be defined. This goes off from the theory that he’s a homunculus, created from chalk, purified soil, the building block of the world. Aside from that, after our fight with Childe, one of the dialogue options after he mentions the fact that traveler can use both anemo and geo, is that they’re slowly gaining back their true power.
And of course, when the twins first enter the world, they have actual wings which were stripped by the Unknown God. Doesn’t seem very human to me.
So, if the travelers are Messengers of Light, then why is that not their main goal? Based on the We Will Be Reunited trailer, when the Abyss Mage mentions the traveler to the missing twin, their face looks shocked, like they just remembered that they have a twin. There’s desperation in their steps when they rush to the cliff to see their twin again, like it’s been so long since they’ve seen their sibling who they literally forgot. I think that aside from stripping them of their power, the Unknown God also took away some of their memories.
So the missing twin might remember the actual purpose as to why they’re in Teyvat, but didn’t remember their sibling until recently, and traveler remembers their sibling but doesn’t remember the reason why they were in Teyvat in the first place (or they do but that isn’t their main concern since they’re putting their sibling first).
So how does Dainsleif relates to this particular segment? Well, in another version of Gnosticism, Aeons come in pairs. Sophia’s partner was Jesus. Now, in the Main Storyline trailer, Dainsleif alludes to a woman when at the very end of the video where he says “My memory has all but faded completely, but I will always remember, how she too loved these flowers.” The flowers are the flowers Lumine especially likes, the ones she adorns in her hair. A flimsy connection it may be, but a connection nonetheless.
Now, I’ve seen theories about Dainsleif being an older version of Aether, but that theory doesn’t hold water if you choose Lumine as your traveler or if you consider the fact that Dainsleif and Aether don’t share the same eye color. Yet, it’s not completely off. There are thirty Aeons in total, although this number can differ in other versions of Gnosticism.
Now, in Dainsleif’s quest, we immediately question this stranger as he is somehow omniscient, if we haven’t already questioned him with all his narration in the Collected Miscellany videos where he hints that he knows more than we do. I will say it now: I think that Dainsleif takes upon the role of Jesus.
I could be wrong. But I think I’m right. For now.
In another version of Gnosticism, Jesus goes to the false world and saves Sophia, as she forgets who she is, she forgets her divinity and is stuck there. If we follow the theory that Dainsleif is actually the second heir from the Gnostic Chorus teaser, and that he is searching for the Genesis Pearl. The Genesis Pearl symbolizes the beginning and purity that is incorruptible. This could be the essence of Sophia, the lost Aeon who incidentally created the false god.
Back to the Main Storyline trailer, Dainsleif says that the war has already begun, and that is just a continuation of past battles. We could take this in a sense that the conflict has reached its boiling point and that it was only because all these problems were left alone for too long. However, we could also consider the possibility that Dainsleif has lived through whatever the twins are going through right now because he is the first Messenger of Light to step foot in Teyvat.
We can also look into Dainsleif’s name, which is a Nordic name, actually written as Dáinsleif. This means Dain’s Legacy which is the sword of King Högni, which aided him in a never ending battle that went on until Ragnarok.
It seems like the twins are repeating a cycle that has already happened to Dainsleif and whoever the unknown woman who also likes the flowers the missing twin likes. All four of them are Aeons or Messengers of Light.
So who is that woman? I have no idea. It could the unknown god but that feels like a stretch. The unknown god might actually be the demiurge, the false god that created Teyvat and the seven Archons, and not Sophia herself. It could also be Paimon who might have some kind of relation to the unknown god, whether it be that she is the unknown god, or she is a being from Celestia. Either way, both feel like shaky theories.
But of course, Mihoyo is only taking inspiration from Gnosticism and several other sources which could lead them to take creative liberties when applying it to the game.
Part 3. The Abyss Order and Khaenri'ah: war crimes against humanity
Going back to my point about the twins’ original goal to why they went to Teyvat in the first place, let’s question why the missing twin joined forces with the Abyss Order and began to lead them to burn the throne of Celestia.
While we don't hear the missing twin mention Celestia in the We Will Be Reunited trailer, the only other time a throne is mentioned is in the Main Storyline trailer when Dainsleif mentions that Celestia does not want humans to ascend to take up a throne in the sky.
Back to the safety of the game's actual lore, we understand that Kaenri'ah is a godless nation that might have underwent a calamity that might have killed off most of its people since they were closer to understanding the truth, and were technologically advanced, compared to the other nations of Teyvat. An alchemist named Gold ultimately led to this cataclysm due to their greed for seeking erudition.
It is safe to assume that Celestia wiped out Khaenri'ah and all the technology they created. We could also assume that the people were all killed, yes, but it would be better to assume they were cursed instead. Into what though?
The hilichurls.
In the archive section of the game, under the books, there's quite a lot written about the hilichurls, thanks to Jacob Musk. The author describes the hilichurls to be drawn to old relics of the past, with even attempts to recreate it. Their way of lifestyle is even described, and it looks like they worship the element itself and not the Archons who represent it.
Doesn't it seem like the hilichurls have a connection with the ancient civilization of the past? Not to mention their strange connection to the elements in which shaman hilichurls (samachurls) can harness the elements without the use of a vision? If I am correct with my theory, then hilichurls were once citizens of the bygone Khaenri'ah who discovered they could harness the elements without an Archon's blessing that came in the form of a vision.
It doesn't feel too surprising considering that for monsters, hilichurls are quite smart. They even display human-like characteristics. In the game, we see them dancing, sleeping, just minding their own business in general. They have their own architecture and their own language. In the Hilichurl Cultural Customs book, we even discover that hilichurls are not as barbaric as they are made out to be as they have leaders who decide their policies and course of action. It's as if they have their own culture.
Ultimately, the hilichurls are part of the Abyss Order. The organization's main goal is to get undermine Celestia's rule, and at this point of this mess I call a theory, doesn't that make them stand in a position where nothing is painted as black and white as it seems. Yes, they do heinous things like steal, possibly murder, and set off a dragon on Mondstadt, but it looks like they're operating through a "the end justifies the means" kind of morality.
And the missing twin shares this sentiment. As they had seen what Celestia had done to Khaenriah 500 years ago before the beginning of the prologue, their desperation grows. Their war with destiny will not stop until Celestia falls because it is their ultimate mission. Traveler has taken up the safer side of this war, wherein they help the humans but the missing twin has taken up the side of fallen humans. This is why they're not evil per se; just going through questionable steps to achieve a righteous goal.
Part 4. Teyvat and its Archons
Based on all that, it seems like I’m painting the Archons to be the bad guys. I am. They wiped out an entire civilization on the basis that they might learn the truth of the world, and their uncanny closeness to Celestia.
But we like Venti and Zhongli, right? Of course we do! However, they were still complicit in the downfall of Khaenri'ah and the limitation of humanity in Teyvat.
To start, Venti had his gnosis was forcibly taken from him. He doesn't seem to mourn over that (although he could be hiding it) and it looks like he can still present himself in a godly manner as we see in Venti's quest when he revealed himself as Barbatos to Stanley. When we spend time with him under the tree of Vennessa, while he divulges the secrets of Celestia to us, he still seems to comply with them. This could be chalked up to the fact that ultimately, he is Mondstadt's Archon and also the weakest of the seven. We could also consider the fact that at the time of Khaneri’ah’s downfall, he was in Dragonspine with Dvalin, dealing with Durin.
With Zhongli, it becomes a bit more interesting. He gave away his gnosis under the agreement of a contract we do not know the details of. But why he did? Why not because of his regret as the geo Archon and of love? Zhongli once ruled over Guili Plains with another god named Guizhong, the god of dust. Guizhong loved their people but perished during the Archon War. He then moved their people to Liyue Harbor and in her place, began to love them. Although he is stilted with the way he deals with his people, we see that he cares. Over the years, he has grown soft and shed the persona of Morax, a god who dealt with war. He says this himself and it feels like his ability to care extends beyond that of Liyue. It's possible he gave up his gnosis because he understands what the Tsaritsa is doing and what she's fighting for.
The Tsaritsa is the cryo Archon and the god of love. However, according to Tartaglia, she had to harden herself to go through with her plan. But what is her plan but an act of love for humanity? Wiping out Khaenri'ah could've opened her eyes to the inherent cruelty of Celestia. The timeline makes sense because Venti said that 500 yers ago, he knew her well but now, not so much. It’s at that point she loses whatever loyalty she had for Celestia. She had to steel herself and begin her plans to overthrow Celestia, which involves taking the gnoses of the six other Archons to fight the false god and alleviate humans from the hell they are in. That is her way of showing her love to humanity.
Teyvat is only a false world. We have seen many instances of this being hinted at like when Katheryne of the Adventurer’s Guild says “rebooting” or “error” as if she is only a program, or when Scaramouche says that the sky and the stars are all fake. Even in the game, if you take a closer look at the stars, it feels fake, as if it is a dome that traps the humans in Teyvat. Even more unsettling, when going deeper within the Spiral Abyss, the more stars you see which could mean Teyvat is actually upside down and that go deeper within the Spiral Abyss, we are ascending closer to the true world.
What greater act of love could the Tsaritsa commit other than giving humanity the truth?
Part 5. In conclusion: none of this makes sense
To summarize my main points:
Genshin Impact takes a lot from the mythos of Gnosticism
Visions are not gifts from the Archons but an inherent power from humans that come from their own "divinity"
The twins and Dainsleif are related in some manner
The twins are repeating a cycle that Dainsleif has already been through
The twins are suffering some kind of memory loss
The twins are in Teyvat to help humans realize their power
Celestia is not heaven but more like hell
Teyvat is a false world
The Tsarita is actually good
The Abyss Order is a morally grey organization
Archons are bad
This could all be wrong as this is only a theory. But the connections I pointed out make a bit of sense. There’s still more lore to uncover as we’ve only unlocked two regions and the Pale Princess and the Six Pygmies only have one volume out so far (this book is important because an Abyss Mage says that there is a lie within it) so this could all be debunked when new regions are unlocked.
Still, it’s a pretty fun theory to believe in at the moment. Thank you for reading this mess I call a theory!

Yet more Black Clover theories and rambles
Ok so hear me out what if the reason why everyone in the spade resistance is surprised that Yuno has Wind Magic because they all thought he would have Ice magic.
Ok so the Heart Kingdom monarchy specialise in water magic because of the inherent Contract with Undine. Which helps control the flow of water and mana within the kingdom and its protection.
The latest chapter of BC reveled that the two demons in the kingdom where two royal youths that used to care for eachother grew an intense hatred toward eachother. They where then sealed into ice which is guarded by house grinberryall who may all specialise in Ice magic.
I'm not saying they have elemental spirit because its been established that their are only four based off the four main elements but they may have special ritual or spell to keep the demons at bay.
Maybe one or both of Yuno's parents we're Ice mages and came from a long line of ice mages. Maybe a few snow, water or wind mages thrown in.
Which Yuno only inherited wind because he housed the soul of Licht and Tetia's unborn son. Yuno's wind sword is in reference of the hybrid nature of the elf fetus suggesting that Tetia's childern would inherit two attributes like charmy a human dwarf hybrid did.
But because his soul is completely human(that we know of) he only get wind sword and not sword magic.
The Spade resistance was expecting and hoping for their long lost prince to jump into the role of great king of Ice. But the wind magic may have throw their plans off.
Implying that the Devil Zagred's meddling caused some interesting changes in the present time.
Also going back to to Tetia if this is the case.
Tetia is a wind mage who looks a lot like Mimosa this could because of family relations or Mimosa was supposed to be Tetia's reincarnation and was supposed to host Tetia spirit had she died.
Meaning Mimosa could have inherited wind magic.
The Silva, Vermilion and Kira family don't really have any particular theme on magic types.
The lion Trio has fire so one or both parents has fire magic.
The Hooch duo have one or both parents with plant magic.
Her majesty Noelle and the dumbass trio have liquid type magic.
Nozel having metal like Acier supposed to represent the elder sibling protecting the younger ones. Acier being Mimosa's mothers elder sister.
Noelle and Solid having liquid water like absent dad and Nebra having mist in reference of absent dad.
This also implies that the main line of Silva and Vermilion stick to Fire and Metal magic hinting at the rivalry of the families and all the side and younger lines have more diverging magic types.
The only three Kiras we've seen have light and scale magic and I've seen people speculate that Finness has a form of light Magic too. Maybe moonlight magic like Karna from Quarter Knights.
I bring this up because all of those who hosted elf Spirits had the same magic type as them. With expectation of Vangence and Patry.
The reincarnation spell may have distribed the natural flow of Reincarnation that the world of BC if it has one. Which it might because from what I can gather is that the souls are reincarnated and hold the nature of Magic while the Spirit is the personality of the current one who lives in a physical body with that soul that can determined what type of magic they get. This is all crazy speculation and theory at this point.
If any of this is true then their is some weird ass implications of Mimosa and Yuno who are 16 being host to a 20 something old mother who died pregnant while het unborn child is in the body that physical the same age.
Even weirder if someone like Asta held the other childs spirit. I speculated Asta kinda looks like a human elf hybrid and had a working theory about the more human descendants Licht and Tetia gave themselves the name Lichitia and then we get Asta's mom who has that name.
This post is long so I'll offer my last thought on magic and reincarnation.
Yami and William are now what's called the Maidens of Apocalypse.
William is the only person we've seen with World tree magic not Tree Magic which exists but its completely different from world tree magic.
Yami is the Only person with Dark Magic. The Opposite is light magic and so far we've seen four people whose had it. Patry, Augustus and Lemiel. With Karna having moonlight magic.
We know that this not the first time that the portal to the devils world was almost open with quliopoth tree. It failed. Its not out of the realm that Lucifero and the other high tier Devils cast their own version of the reincarnation Spell. Causing who ever the original dark and world tree maidens to be Reborn as William and Yami. We know Lucifero has been trying to gain access to the human world because of Liebe.
With thr other devils manipulating events to make it happen. Yami coming to clover. William inheriting a curse from his mothers family.
Cult like families such as Agrippa and Faust having connection to the Devils.
All the weird ass curses that many people throughout the kingdoms having.
Its all been manipulated by many higher powers within the world.
In this world Magic is everything but what seems to stand in its way is two Magicless boys thrown in the middle of the greatest point in history.

I made a joke post about Legolas and Aragorn adopting a baby Geralt and raising him a few weeks ago, but I can’t get it out of my head, so I’m gonna expand on that AU. First post can be found here
So Legolas and Aragorn are basically just out on a vacation in the eastern part of Middle Earth, just taking a break and chilling around you know, when they stumble upon a child just outside the kingdom of Rivia (Yes I am keeping that)
The child is about three or four years old, with the peculiar outward appearance of big Yellow eyes and almost white hair, and it doesn’t seem to mind being out alone in the middle of the forest.
Both Legolas and Aragorn decide though that they will try to find the child’s parents, and they spend two days in Rivia searching for the parent of the child, or just someone who knows something, but they get no results. Most people are repelled by the child, saying that it’s cursed or the result of witchcraft, and both Aragorn and Legolas take offense by that as they had gotten attached to the child.
On the third day they eventually give up, and after a long discussion they decide to adopt the child, as again, they both got attached real fast.
When the two return to Gondor with the small boy whom they named Geralt, a lot of people get quite surprised, mostly because what and why. Their respective families have the same reaction.
The two realize quickly that Geralt is not a normal child.
First, they have no idea what he is. They first thought human, but when small bursts of magic started to come from him, and when his acute sense of smell was discovered, they scratched that idea.
Second, he refused to part with his wolf medallion. They didn’t know why, it had been inspected by a lot of people, including Gandalf himself, but it didn’t seem to have any type of spell or curse on it that made him so fiercely attached to it. And he couldn’t tell them anything about it because-
-Three, he barely speaks. At first they thought he was mute or deaf or something alike, but that didn’t seem to be the case as he could hear, and he did utter a few words here and there. He just chose not to speak, and mostly made cute little grunts when people spoke to him.
Legolas became a mother hen very quickly, and was very loving towards his strange child, and as a child Geralt didn’t mind it too much. As an adult however, then he just wishes his ada would stop smothering him (He secretly loves it).
Aragorn is a lot less lovey dovey, but still very caring and Geralt loves to be around him. He was very quick with teaching his child both sword techniques and manners, but his major priority was teaching him how to care for a horse.
Geralt was not a shy kid as many people believed, When it came down to it he was more than able to voice his opinion. He just, doesn’t like to talk. And because of that fact, he also grew up to be very poor with words and having a problem formulating himself, which backfired a few times in his life.
The thing is, he doesn’t like when others talk either. He just wants to sit around and brood in silence like the angsty boy he is, but none of his family members allow him to, as they are all very chatty and cheery.
Especially his two uncles Elladan and Elrohir and his aunt Tilda, like whenever either one of them are around he can kiss peace and quiet goodbye for at least a few days. It’s even worse when it’s all three.
Geral’t strange magic became a problem early on, as it was very unpredictable. He could do more simple things like start fires and create a protective shield, but also literally manipulate minds, which was not a pleasant thing, especially as he had a hard time controlling it in his youth.
Gandalf tried his best to teach the boy to control his magic, and he did manage to get a hang of it, but sometimes it could still act out in his adulthood when he felt particularly stressed out or angry.
That wasn’t the only problem that came with Geralt being of unknown origin, as sometimes Aragorn and Legolas didn’t know how to properly raise the boy, and what he really needed.
For example, when Geralt was around seven he fell ill. And with that I mean really ill, many feared that he would not survive.
Both Legolas and Aragorn were devastated and the former spent nearly all his time holding and cuddling his shaking and whimpering baby who was in too much pain for the caring parent to handle, and he started to stop eating just to always be able to be by his son’s side.
Aragorn couldn’t afford to drop all of his duties as king, even though he wanted to, but his mind was very absent during everything he did that did not involve caring for Geralt.
Geralt eventually got better, thankfully, but neither Aragorn nor Legolas would ever forget the fear they had felt for almost five months of their still small and fragile son being so close to death.
Geralt’s magic wasn’t only a bunch of negative stuff, it did also come to some benefits in his youth, especially when it came to worrying his Ada.
At around nine Geralt found out that he could temporarily vanish, aka become invisible, if he focused on it enough, which meant that his parents were forced to place a bell on him just to make out where he was. He took it off quite often and would usually be hanging around his frantic Ada, sipping his juice box and watch the scene unfold,
(And I know that’s not really in the Witcher canon, but I just thought it would be cute and this is my AU so fuck off)
Not too long after Geralt got a half elf cousin by the name of Brand, at at first he was confused by the small thing and why he was supposed to care, but as Brand grew older and learned to sit up and make noise, Geralt hated the small thing and just wished for it’s demise. It did not help that his parents loved the kid and would gladly babysit when the thing’s parents were busy, which meant he was forced to be around it.
When Geralt turned twenty two he left Gondor to find his own path (Much to his Ada’s terror because there’s so many ways for him to get hurt Aragorn how are you so calm about this), only equipped with the bare essentials for a life on the road, including a mare he named Roach, a descendant of Brego.
Geralt was very quick to pick up on his father’s habit of having conversations with his horse, and Roach was quite a good listener.
Geralt found his purpose when a child ran up to him while in a village and asked if he could slay the monster that had killed his sister in exchange for money, as his family had seen his swords.
Geralt complied, partly because he could need the money and partly because it would be nice to help, even though his facial expression remained a grim scowl.
And after killing the thing and nearly dying himself in the process, he figures that he needs to do some research on different types of monsters and how to beat take them down before he starts going about.
He also starts carrying potions with him that he acquires from mages and witches across Middle Earth, just to make it easier to hunt and to heal himself after the fact.
But it is not everyone who appreciates his help unfortunately, as many turn him down just by his strange and uncanny appearance, and by his grim attitude that often scare people off.
It does not help that he introduces himself as Geralt of Rivia instead of Geralt Greenleaf of Gondor, just so people wouldn’t know who he was and treat him differently, but it does result in people having no idea he’s the son of a king and a crown prince so they treat him like shit if they want to.
It does not get better by the events in Blaviken, that Geralt would rather not speak off, especially to his parents.
It is first when he meets a young cheery bard that reminds him of an annoying bird that people start to respect him more, after the bard creates a ballad about him.
(Toss a coin would obviously sound a little different since in this AU the term ‘Witcher’ doesn’t exist and I doubt he would “Thrust every elf far back on the shelf” if he himself is part elf by adoption, but it is till toss a coin)
And both Aragorn and Legolas are just delighted at hearing the song because they are just so happy for their son, if not a little confused on why he is called Geralt of Rivia, but still yay!
(The bardlings love singing it together when they are around each other, as they love their nephew and is also all music loving people)
There’s also the mage that he encounters from time to time (And with encounter I mean they fuck, because well, Geralt is related to both Legolas and Tilda after all), whom the Bard, Jaskier, hates.
And then he gets an invitation to the wedding of Arwen and Éowyn while around both Jaskier and the mage, Yennefer, and they both are just as confused because “Wait you have a family?”
And the minute they find out about Geralt’s large, loud and quite famous and royal family, they are both pestering him about following to the wedding because they want to meet the people who raised Geralt, and he gives in after a lot of nagging and begging.
So when Geralt shows up in Rivendell with a brightly dressed bard and a gothic mage, well let’s just say it’s interesting.
Legolas is delighted that his little Gerry has made some friends while also checking on him that he is alright and Geralt hates in while Yen and Jaskier are having a blast.
Jaskier is really smug about the fact that Geralt is actually related to a bard in a way, with his Ada’s step siblings mother being one, and the three take after her with their own musical talent.
Jaskier and Sigrid gush a lot about different songs together.
And Tilda is just shamelessly flirting with the sexy gothic mage while Geralt regrets every single decision he’s ever made.
And of course Brand is there being an asshole while flirting with Jaskier, and again, Geralt regrets everything.
A betting pool is set up on who they think Geralt will end up with, Jaskier or Yennefer.
Geralt just craves death.
***
I tried to incorporate as much of the Witcher lore as I could, but I also had to take into account how Middle Earth works, which is very hard.
I mean, one is Polish and the other from New Zealand.
I don’t know what Geralt is supposed to be exactly, maybe some sort of Fae or Elf half breed, or maybe he is a mutant like the actual Witcher’s.
Anyways, this was fun, and I really wanna make more of this AU, because I love it. It’s not canon in my Universe though, sadly, because it just wouldn’t work.

RAD Student Files: Lucifer, The Celestial Realm’s Bastard Pride
before i start the post, Thank you guys for the support^^ it really means alot. and im going to go very in depth with these post, so i decided to make each brother have their own spotlight by making it individual post.
also i apologize in advance if i cant joke around much with these post hehe^^;
Spoiler warnings, so you have been warned!
 Background and Origin:
Lucifer,as famous as he is right now. With the Netflix show and other representations of him throughout history, his name has only been mentioned once in the bible.
“ How art thou fallen from Heaven, O Lucifer, Son of the Morning,” (Isiah 14:12 King James Version)
this simple line was said to actually be a foreshadowing of the fall of the King of Babylon, Nebuchadrezzar . Some say it is alluding to the fall of a Pheonician God, Helal who sought after the Chief God’s throne and fell (pretty similar eh? actually dfq too similar) .
some say that Lines from Ezekiel might be marking a prophecy of Lucifer’s faith  (Ezekiel 28: 11-19 , the passage is alittle too long, so if you want to see it just search that up), the passage speaks about King Tyre and what his pride did to him not only that but the passage then goes to mention “ the Anointed Cherub”. This is said by Jonathan Edwards, a Philosophical Theologian is a reference to Lucifer; as Lucifer was made highest of the angels, not only this but is said to be the closest to the throne of God.
Now, who and what is Helal? the actual Hebrew text has the name “Helal”( which still meant Morning star) instead of Lucifer. both do mean the same thing, an Astrological Phenomenon.
the actual name of Lucifer came from the Latin Vulgate version of the Bible.Lucifer, which meant “Light Bearer” and was directly connected to the Planet Venus. As the bible gets translated over and over again, this later turned Lucifer instead of being just a figure of speech, became an individual being. most of the stories about Lucifer are taken from Poetic literature about the bible  and legends.
there are many interpretations to the fall of Lucifer( the Anointed Cherub), so i will give the most well known and then briefly touch upon the other interpretations.
Lucifer, before his fall was said to be God’s most perfect creation, a Cherub ( some would disagree and say a seraph, but more on that later) whose beauty was unmatched, whose knowledge was above those of his kind; God gave him knowledge that only Lucifer can have. second only to the father himself.he was the leader of the angels but, he grew in pride and decided that being second to the father is not enough. that he has to be equal--no greater than the father. With this, he waged war that caused great chaos throughout heaven. Michael (in some accounts, Gabriel) the archangel second to him lead the army that counters his and was able to defeat him and cast him and those who sided with him out of Heaven. following the Book of Revelations, it is also accounted that third of the angels in Heaven fell with Lucifer.
as he was cast into the Abyss, he is to bound there until the day of Judgement, but with his despise of God, he then goes to the mortal world to tempt and torment the Father’s most beloved creation, Humans. he does this so that he can acquire their souls and keep them away from God( this was stated in the Apocrypha, Enoch). it is said that he appears as a beautiful innocent child and uses this form to easily tempt humans to follow his words.
some interpretations state that the reason for Lucifer’s rebellion is because, God made another being, Jesus, who was Higher than him. as Lucifer only is near the throne of God, Jesus is to sit on the throne with God for all eternity. which infuriated Lucifer.
and in some interpretations, it is said that God permitted Lucifer to be able to tempt humans. and in some Gnostic Christian Sects they believe that Lucifer isn’t even evil, but the first-born of God who is to save humanity with his gift of Knowledge.
Jonathan Edwards, even goes as far as to say the fall of Lucifer to him pleases God, as his fall is for the greatness of God that is to come.
Lucifer in the Sacred Magic of Abramelin the mage, Lucifer is stated to be one of the four Principal spirits. in the True keys of Solomon, Lucifer is identified to be one of the three demons who can command all others of his kind, he is said to rule over demons in Europe and Asia ; the other two demons who have the same authority is Beezlebub and Astaroth . as for other legends, they state that Lucifer is the Consort of Lilith ( weird but okay?). according to Peter Binsfield, Lucifer represents the Sin of Pride; to note, it is said that Pride is the King of all sins, which seems fitting for Lucifer. He is also the Opposing force to Saint John the Baptist.  in the Friar Rush, Lucifer is said to be the “ Prince of Gluttony” .
as for Lucifer’s position in hell, there is some debate over it, on one side it is said that Lucifer is the emperor of Hell, with Satan being second to him and Beezlebub third to him. for some Demonographers, Lucifer is a great Lover of justice in Hell.  and the other side, it is said that it is either Satan or Beezlebub.
So How does it show in the game?
Lucifer in the game is well known as the loyal right hand of Diavolo ( the devil?). He is obedient to Diavolo’s wishes and does everything he can to make sure no one opposes him, even his brothers. this is quite different from the things mentioned above. Lucifer is supposed to be the highest one in Hell, he was able to even rebel against Heaven for it, yet here he is...serving a Demon?
Lucifer is shown to be a sadistic, strict, over bearing, secretive, but caring(?) sibling. he shows to be dealing with alot of problems with the past especially concerning Lilith.
(the sadistic side could be a reference to how he loves to torture and torment humans. just a guess)
the game seems to take liberty of taking shifting and twisting the origins to make a more human Lucifer, his story is also very similar to what his origins state.
but, the thing i want to focus on is Lucifer’s model, in the game he is stated to be seraphim, an angel that has 6 wings( this information was given by Luke during Chapter 5),  but his model only goes to show 4. now, in the information above, Lucifer is said to be a Cherub, so whats with that?
to be technical, Cherubs are angels of Knowledge, which for others means, his sin is caused by his knowledge. Seraphims are angels of Charity, while they are the highest choir, if you try to connect it with his sin, it doesn’t match. but, since the game used the Seraphim interpretation so we’ll go with that.
Lucifer is also shown to have dark hair and his wings have turned black, modern interpretations do this as to show his turn to the darkness, but some interpret it as the result of Lucifer’s wings being burned. his character model shows him with only 4 wings, so where’s the 3rd pair? most likely burned off during his fall to the Devildom , or they were burned during the Celestial war. and the implications that Micheal did it might be likely, since his origins states that Micheal was the one to defeat Lucifer and His army.
Diavolo when he gushes about Lucifer, he always goes on about how Lucifer was so bright and blinding, which could be a reference to his name as Light Bearer.
in regards to Lucifer’s relationship with Lilith, During chapter 5, we were able to find out about that Belphie, Beel, Lilith, and Lucifer used to be very close. hoping this game doesnt take the incest route, we can say that Lucifer and Lilith are just very close siblings rather than the original interpretation that He is a Consort of Lilith. much of the lore is still in the making, so most of the things are just possibilities.
ps. i hope you guys enjoyed reading this very long post ❤❤❤,sorry for taking a while to post :< school’s been taking up alot of my schedule so the time window for researching has been hard to manage. but enough about that, if you have any information you want to share that i wasnt able to include or you want to correct some things, please feel free to comment it :3

Sugar Sugar Rune Remake/Reboot
Credits to two friends on the Kim Server for helping me construct this as well as give me moral support!
One, things from the anime mix into this plus the things from the manga.
Two, pacing is a bit slower with more ‘filler’ instead of arc after arc after arc in rapid fire succession.
Three, expand on certain characters more, foreshadow more things, etc.
Four, modernize certain concepts to better fit the current times, have some boys be in Pierre’s fan club. Have Chocolat & Vanilla take hearts from their female classmates as well.
Now in no order I will be listing some more ‘minor’ crap I guess
Duke’s relations and backstory is heavily hinted at but never clear, is he Vanilla’s dad? Chocolat’s dad? Houx & Saule’s eccentric uncle?
Houx & Vanilla’s relationship is something that’s more hinted at
Waffle (anime only kid) comes back but is... revised, I suppose
She acts as a mini-catalyst to Houx X Vanilla. Personality wise, she’s spoiled and bratty but doesn’t understand certain social cues due to her rich statues and lack of friends, almost a ‘What if’ of Vanilla if she didn’t have Chocolat
Her interactions with Houx are more than the one-off, so her infatuation with him is a bit more... expanded? I guess
She’s also gonna be around Chocolat & Vanilla’s age, either younger than them by a year or born on the same year just really late into it
Waffle’s Nanny is a Pseudo bodyguard and someone to keep her in line when she goes too far
Some of Pierre’s fan club Members, surprisingly, don’t have a Noir in them because they know better than to let hatred, anger, and jealousy get the better of them
Duke & Blanca get more focus, especially Duke
Houx & Saule get more focus because please give them something
Also an episode of what the ever loving fuck Robin was doing when the girls were in danger
An episode of Pierre’s familiar, maybe the cat and Duke share a subtle glance and nod?
More filler after certain big events because I need to know how everyone’s coping instead of them immediately being yeeted into danger again
Some angst over Chocolat when she collects Noir to try and drive off Orges or smth
Mages & their familiars bonding
Captain Glacier stays longer and potentially trains Houx & Saule or even Vanilla and Chocolat (maybe Vanilla learns some water/ice magic while Chocolat learns fire magic?)
He either stays with the kids or with Robin, if he stays with the former he’s the Adult Supervision during some Shenanigans
More world building
Filler that’s canon compliant, develops the characters, and/or expands the world
Episode Plot on Saule
Since Saule doesn’t have any subplots attached to just him (meaning Houx isn’t involved), I gave him one
Basically when they both get over their crushes on Chocolat, Saule starts to fall for a human
He’s slowly been falling for them in the background of many of the episodes, with some subtle points where we briefly see this Mystery Love Interest
By the time they realize, Saule’s heart is already so pink and getting redder by the day
This smacks Houx, Vanilla, and Chocolat in the face with what would happen to Saule if his heart turns red
It makes them realize how cruel and unfair it is to punish someone for falling in love
Chocolat is rightfully furious over it, Vanilla is concerned and terrified for her friend, and Houx is right dab in the middle, furious over this unjust system and deeply worried for his brother
Blanca watches on, being reminded of her own downfall when she wished to give her heart to a human. Duke doesn’t know what to do except comfort her, because she’s the only one he can really help right now
This can end two ways
One, it’s played off for laughs at the end and the person turns out to not be interested but wants to stay friends
Two, Saule risks it all and plans to ask them out, but someone beats them right to the punch (assuming he had a chance to begin with)
If it’s the latter, Saule’s near red heart quickly turns a deep black
Naturally the dark heart is resolved before any Orge can get it but it still frightens the kids because they didn’t know Witches could get natural Noir
If Robin, Waffle, or Glacier are present, they two guards don’t doubt the rules until they see the girls immediately want against it, Waffle is with the girls, concerned and furious
Other things
Chocolat’s grandpa comes over more often, there’s a point where he and Duke lock eyes and Corne briefly suspects something before Robin snatches Duke so they both leave (Robin knows that Duke also doesn’t like being around Corne and tbh he doesn’t need a reason it’s just that it’s Corne)
The point in time where Chocolat think she and Pierre are siblings is longer and she finds out they aren’t just before she would’ve been fully over her love for him
Either she figures it out with Pierre or Poivre tells her
When Poivre is revealed and tells her the truth in small doses (as to not shock them all so much that they all have some kinda crisis)
Also after Poivre is introduced, shenanigans
He and Chocolat interacting and both get a lot of hearts from the woman and men that go ‘awww look at him with his niece!’ and boys and girls being like ‘they’re so cute!’
He escorts the kids to school and he gets some hearts from some people
Oh yeah, the heart system and a bunch of other basic things get introduced at the start of every episode
The description of Noir starts vague but as episodes go by the definition becomes clearer, same with White Hearts
The start of the series is relatively slowish
Introduces the magic world, the hearts system, our MCs in the first few episodes
Introduces Duke & Blanca, expands on the magic
Introduces Houx & Saule, expands on the magic and current state of the Magic World
Pierre
Pierre hints to being an Orge are subtle, so subtle that it’s just a throw away idea to the kids until the Aquarium date happens
After that, they notice all the Noir he’s fostering in the Members
The Members also expand their ranks after that
Human world things
Robin educates the kids on certain holidays coming up so they don’t attract attention for not knowing something like Valentines
On some occasions, Duke puts in his own two cents
Later, depending on when in the timeline it happens, Poivre gives them descriptions in greater detail
Character relationships
Chocolat & Pierre
The two spend more time together before it’s revealed that he’s an Orge
Something just clicks when they meet at school
Chocolat feels like she knows him, something about him reminds her of the Magic World
The more time they spend together, the more she notices how he smells like the rain back home, how his hands are always so cold, how something about him just feels familiar. She feels like she can trust him, but doesn’t understand why
Pierre, we get his view of this later on, feels like he knows her, something about her reminds him of something, like a memory of something that doesn’t exist, something before his time with the Orges
The moment he meets the girls, he knows they’re from the Magic World, but that doesn’t explain to him why he gravitates to Chocolat. When Vanilla, the Queen’s daughter, is much easier to exploit than the stubborn Chocolat
His heart- his original heart0 reacted so strongly during their first meeting that he’s surprised he didn’t double over or much less flinch back at the sudden pain
He thought maybe spending time around Chocolat would let him get used to the sight of her without his two hearts clashing
Chocolat & Vanilla
They’re like family to each other, as close as cousins, since Vanilla was confided to be the Queen’s daughter while Chocolat was a free and normal child
Chocolat was free to have friends and have a childhood
Vanilla was restricted by her statues as the Queen’s daughter and her childhood was filled with lessons on top of lessons on top of lessons, with her only friend being Chocolat
Vanilla envy’s Chocolat’s freedom and bravery, as well as her social nature
Chocolat envy’s the fact that Vanilla still has her mother with her, as well as her kind heart and gentle ways, as well as her skills
The two wish they were more like the other
After Vanilla’s Noir is removed, they understand each other better
They talk about how they envied the other yet admired them too
They’re best friends, no matter who becomes Queen or whatever comes their way
Houx & Saule and Vanilla & Chocolat
Houx and Saule had brief but professional interactions with Vanilla prior to the start of the Queen Candidate competition
But the two still gravitate more to Chocolat because Chocolat is friends with a lot of people
The boys’ favouritism clearly leaned towards Chocolat, yet they also treated Vanilla with more care and focus her safety more
But as challenges and trials come their way, the boys start to protect both of them with the same ferocity
After sometimes, their crushes on Chocolat die down, Saule was never going to fall fully anyway, it was Houx that was too close to the edge of falling for someone who’s heart belongs to another
Saule has always been ready to move on but he was waiting for his brother to as well, because he’s not leaving him behinds

I’m compiling a list of all my wips w/ summaries here to remind myself what all I should be working on and keep myself accountable - and if y’all wanna yell at me about them please do
(Also be warned there will be some spoilers in here cause I suck at non spoiler-y summaries)
Fanfics:
Dear Evan Hansen:
(Apprentice) Park Ranger Handsome part 16 (doesn’t even have a name yet I’m so sorry)
Evan and Connor’s first date!! They go to the orchard of course, and have more relationship conversation... and a picnic.
Fae Court AU
Prince Connor of the Winter Court falls in love with a human boy and acts on it, despite his parents having Rules against relationships with humans. The consequences are big but Connor and Evan weather them well.
Flash:
Soulmate AU (I’m thinking ‘Dream A Little Dream Of Me’ for series title)
A series of one-shots following the Arrowverse characters - with a bit of a focus on Team Flash and the Legends - as they find love and happiness , with some bumps along the way, in a world where you share dreams with your soulmate. Timeline is spread out from Stein and Clarissa’s first meeting to some point around mid canon.
endgame ships include Barry/Len, Hartley/Cisco, Wally/Jax, Sara/Ava, Nate/Ollie/Felicity/Lisa(it’ll make sense I promise), Iris/Caitlin/Shawna, and more
Role-reversal AU
In a world where Barry was kept strictly away from the file on his mother’s murder after he becomes a CSI he grows resentful and distrusting of law-enforcement and a little quicker to recognize that he can’t entirely fix the issues with the police from the inside. So when he wakes from a nine month coma with super speed his first thought is how much he can shove the police’s faces in the fact that the system isn’t perfect and needs to change... he becomes the world’s fastest thief - unbeatable. At least until he goes after a certain diamond at the same time as one Leonard Snart, who walks away from the encounter looking to the world like a hero and gets a sweet taste of positive press that he’s not all that eager to give up.
Harry Potter crossover
Snart and Rory go “backpacking across Europe” on a ridiculous challenge to steal one thing in each country. Their last stop is in England and they’ve set their sights on a suburb in Surrey... which leads them to noticing the treatment of the young nephew of their potential target. Being survivors of abuse themselves they decide to remove him from that environment... along with all of Vernon Dursley’s valuables. Raising a kid is hard, raising a magical kid while maintaining positions as master thieves? ...piece of cake...
Check Please:
Moving On
When Jack and Bitty go through a messy breakup their friends are torn and Bitty is uncertain about what to do, especially when he has to go back to Georgia - where he’s firmly in the closet - for summer break. He can’t talk to his family or his friends about all his conflicting feelings about what happened, so he somehow finds himself corresponding with the one person who he knows would understand - Jack’s other ex, Kent Parson. He also finds himself growing closer to the previous year’s freshmen on his college hockey team and the team’s new manager - especially when summer ends and they’re all handling the situation better than the rest of his friends - ie: behaving like nothing happened except that they’re immediately down to fight Jack at a moment’s notice.
The Umbrella Academy:
Ghost Dave (that’s what it’s called in my google docs but it’s definitely not gonna be the title of the final product)
Dave Katz has been haunting the surviving members of his unit for a couple decades when the story about the 43 women comes on the news; a story Dave had heard plenty about before he died from his lover, Klaus Hargreeves. In whose tellings of it he was one of the children born that day. He also had claimed a few times to be from the future so Dave was fairly willing to take this as proof he was telling the truth. Immediately Dave seeks out Reginald Hargreeves and the 7 of the children he adopted. Over the next 29 years Dave follows the young Klaus around, giving him advice and unconditional friendship and protection from the other ghosts the poor kid could see.
Circle Of Magic crossover
When Tris finds herself dropping out of some kind of portal in a strange land it doesn’t take her long to figure out that some mage had decided to get rid of her - and possibly her siblings - by banishing her to another world, one with advanced technology but not much by way of magic - if one didn’t count the six super-powered siblings she appeared in the middle of. At the same time, but also not, Tris’s adopted sister Sandry wound up smack dab in the center of a group calling themself The Commission who’re very interested in adding her to their ranks, she joins up but maintains suspicion. Daja, the third sister, follows a pair of assassins. And their one brother, Briar, falls into the Vietnam War alongside one freshly tortured Klaus Hargreeves. They all find their way back together eventually - with much fewer casualties than if they hadn’t been there
Harry Potter crossover 1
When an eighteen-year-old Klaus Hargreeves gets bored of being lookout on a mission in London and wanders into the bar across the street he isn’t expecting to find a best friend, but that’s exactly what happens. Lily Evans is a couple months into a break-up and still tired of her ex and his idiocy, especially after his most recent letter - a pile of stupid big enough to send her straight to her local bar. The two hit it off instantly via complaining about anything and everything and egging each other into doing the most ridiculous but fun things. Their night of fun turns sour when Klaus finds out his brother Ben died during the mission and at least one of his siblings blame him. Lily takes the broken boy back to her flat and let’s him stay with her until his visa to stay in England runs out. Thirteen years later the apocalypse is interrupted by a tired ex-professor bringing life changing news - Lily was pregnant when Klaus left England(they’d slept together a handful of times but were never more than friends with benefits), also Lily and her husband(the idiot ex who apologized and changed his behavior, Klaus was at their wedding) are dead and Klaus and Lily’s son was placed with his aunt Petunia(who Klaus has met and knows the boy never should’ve been put with) because only five people besides Lily and James knew who Harry’s father really was and the only one capable of doing anything about it had to find the wandering junkie first. Klaus handles all this about as well as a powerful veteran with a traumatic childhood can - fighting tooth and nail for custody and then raising the boy the best he can with help from his siblings and robot mom and shoving his son’s happiness and safety in the faces of everyone who did the boy wrong
Harry Potter crossover 2
Not long after the war ends Harry finds that he can’t stand staying in magical Britain any longer, so he takes his godson and moves to America. Six years later one of the kids who live across the street sneaks out his window, wearing only pjs despite the heavy snow. Harry finds himself staying up waiting for the boy to return to their street and making some hot cocoa - which he offers to the boy as soon as he sees him. It quickly becomes a Thing(tm); Klaus will sneak out his window in the middle of the night, go for a walk, and eventually wind up having hot cocoa in Harry’s kitchen. They form a strange friendship, one where Klaus has someone he knows he can go to when everything becomes too much - even if that means crawling through Harry’s window, collapsing on his floor in tears, and falling asleep on his couch, waking up just in time to get home before his absence is noticed. Three more years have passed when Harry and Teddy are idly watching tv and Harry sees a very familiar face as Reginald Hargreeves introduces ‘the inaugural class of the Umbrella Academy.’ When Klaus comes over that night Harry asks how much choice Hargreeves gave him and his siblings in their ‘heroics’. After some thought Klaus remembers how his brother Ben hadn’t wanted anything to do with what happened at the bank but was made to participate anyway. He answers honestly: they weren’t really given any. Thus begins Harry’s campaign to get custody for the kids from Hargreeves.
Original Works:
Four Elements Universe(a collection of stories set along one timeline - very far apart and with no overarching plot, just a shared world):
Sisa:
A secluded young king sneaks out of his castle and gets a job under a false identity in hope for friendship, then gives everything up to help his new friends and the rest of his people when he realizes the extent of his adviser’s corruption. Around the same time, a teenage master thief is hired to steal a specific box from the castle - and then to help another thief break her friend out of the castle dungeon - and uncovers several major secrets that might just change the fate of the kingdom.
Kings:
Bandit King Vakhtang’s life is irrevocably changed when he agrees to lend his men to a rebellion for a hefty amount of gold. Over time he finds himself growing fond of the boy prophesied to be the next king and learning just as much from his new employer about letting himself care and open up as he’s teaching the boy how to protect himself. (His best friend and lover is very proud of this growth and kinda wants to adopt the kid)
The Completely Unrelated Adventures Of Four People Who Had Nothing To Do With Each Other Beforehand:
Four teenagers in rural Texas follow a cipher they found in an old tome and discover that all four of them have magical abilities, and that their town may not be as average as they’d believed. As they delve deeper in this new world they uncover two different secret organizations and find themselves caught in the middle of a dangerous conflict over a powerful artifact - that may or may not be the kid sister of one of them.
Mythicals:
Six kids around the world each find objects - artifacts - that grant them magical transformations and abilities. Seven years later all six of them end up at the same prestigious performing arts school in New York. When they discover that they all have these artifacts and powers - and that New York and possibly the world is in danger - they team up to protect everyone else, and quickly become close friends. Though one of them has a secret that could drastically change how the others view them... and possibly risk the fate of the human race.
Eternity And Forever(this one does have an overarching plot):
Eternity Of Forever:
Back in the early years of humanity a young man goes up a mountain for his Trials of Adulthood - a series of three trials set to test a person on the traits of whichever three gods they’ve been assigned to serve - unfortunately for this boy he’s been chosen for the gods of empathy, loyalty, and love... three traits that do not come easily to him. In his desperation to pass his trials he cheats the system and gets caught. As punishment he’s cursed to live forever just on the cusp of adulthood but never reaching it, the only way to break his curse is to prove - with no possibility of dishonesty - that he’s capable of the three traits. Over the next few millennia he gets caught up in a war for the fate of all life on earth, and also somewhat adopts a maybe-alien and falls in love with a time traveler.
Throughout Eternity:
At some unknown point in the future all that’s left of the human race is a refugee colony on an island floating above the desolate remains of our planet. It’s into this that Quinton is born. But when it’s discovered that he can travel through time with just a thought he’s trained for a very important mission: to go back in time and stop the apocalypse. Shortly into his mission he meets an immortal teenager who claims to have met Quinton’s future self and who offers to help, telling him that first thing he should do is gather a team to help him - he even provides names and years. This little team becomes like a second family to Quinton, especially the pretend-aloof immortal.
Forever And After:
After the death of the closest thing he ever had to a father, Slythus finds himself applying to the superhero school the immortal had founded - despite knowing that even if he were accepted into the student body he’d never be accepted by the student body. Somehow he manages to get in... and even more impossible; manages to make friends. But even as he learns how to be good, his past is lurking on the edges of his new life and quickly becoming impossible to ignore - figuratively and literally.
Shadow Warriors:
After the dragon Svartr gets cursed protecting a village from invaders they offer their children to be trained by him - to take care of him as his condition worsens. Those selected and taught by him become known as the Shadow Warriors. Alexir was born several generations after the tradition began of sending every twelve-year-old up Svartr’s mountain for the selection and she never expected to be chosen, being much more focused on intellectual growth than physical, so when it happens it comes as a bit of a shock. She struggles to keep up with her peers in most of the lessons but refuses to give in, pushing herself to reach their level while also learning the complexities of friendship from them all.
Consequences(originally titled ‘Consequences of War’ until I realized it’s more about just consequences for actions in general - like: don’t piss off the powerful magical Being hiding out in the abandoned building):
After deliberately pissing off what they believed to be a ghost - or a false rumor more likely - a college aged idiot ends up being banished into a strange world... with a distinct change in biology(mostly in the area of hormones and primary sex characteristics). As they travel this new world in search of a way home - and back into their original form - they learn new things about themself and make interesting new friends. They find themself questioning whether they actually want their ‘old body’ back and then, when they begin to fall in love, whether they really want to return to their old world.

Original Fic Fest: Day One
Hello yes, Kody here. Day one of the Original Fic Fest is to introduce your characters! I’m a day late because of work related issues, but I’m quite excited to share my dudes with you. A lot of my characters aren’t terribly fleshed out, as I only just started working on Robot Soul a few weeks ago. I’ll go through my main characters in Robot Soul, but I’ll also mention a couple characters from my second WIP, Jar of Hearts. Thank you all for taking the time to read this!! It means so much to me! (also, since my characters are so un-realized, I don’t have any reference pictures! Many apologies! I only have reference pictures for my two characters in Jar of Hearts.) @originalficfest
Robot Soul
Reahven Navratil is my main character in Robot Soul. She lives in the suburbs of the capital city of Allowen, tauntingly named after the realm of the Old Gods, a place that one might call ‘heaven’ in our terms. She lives on her own as a 25 year old woman, and works a menial job in a robot factory assembly line. She is diagnosed with stage four cancer and is thus hospitalized. She doesn’t have the money for fancy treatments that the rich might use to extend their life, so she essentially has to accept her fate and sit in the hospital until she finally goes. She hates that she’s so powerless in her situation, as she’s someone who must be in control of her situation. When her soul is transferred to the robot body against her will, she is angry. She’d rather be dead than forced to serve under the reign of President Faber. Despite her strong personality, she is unable to defeat the slaving protocols that the government have installed in her robotic body. It is only when a group of rogue mages come to break her out and release her of her slaving protocols that she finally finds a semblance of peace in her existence. Not wanting to risk being caught and enslaved by the government again, Astrid decides that she would rather let her soul be released from its cage and sent to the realm of Allowen that she had always believed in. The story captures the quest to find the mage powerful enough to manipulate souls.
Alabeth Vedevea is the main supporting character in the story Robot Soul. She is a spunky 20 year old who hasn’t quite outgrown her teenage goth years. She has black hair haphazardly cut, with blue streaks in it. She lives in one of the reservations far from Allowen, where mages and outcasts live. She was born into a rich family, but suffers from severe bipolar disorder, and her family simply drugged her up in hopes of keeping her from acting in a way they didn’t like. The medicines made her so she wasn’t too sad but also not too happy. She was stuck in a limbo of ‘meh’ and she didn’t like living life that way. So she ran away. She was alone for a long while before she stumbled across one of the reservations she had heard about. She’s been there for a few years now. Unmedicated, she has trouble dealing with her mental illness, and struggles with this throughout the book. She becomes Reahven’s closest friend in this ordeal.
Ra’dair Ansah is a mage in the same reservation that Odette lives in. He is one of the three archmages on the reservation and becomes a sort of overseer to the group that goes to find the soul mage. He is black, tall, and clumsy as a newborn kitten. He may look intimidating, but he’s about as kind a guy as you can be. He’s an ice mage, but with great practice and a large amount of energy, he also has the ability to pause time for a limited amount of time and can teleport at will. I don’t have a huge backstory for him. It’ll be something I’ll work on.
(I have four more main characters in Robot Soul, but to keep the post at a decent size, I’ll just name the rest with a basic description and info about them. I don’t have big backstories for anyone else. It’s something that I have yet to develop.)
Vildira Alinara is age fifteen. She has dark tan skin and black hair with brown eyes. Tall like her teacher, Ra’dair. She’s a fire mage with an explosive temper. Goes along with the group to find the soul mage.
Duvasis Volt is age 38. He’s white, with brown hair and green eyes. Also tall, but thin. The leading archmage on the reservation, a member of the Council. (the Council being representatives from each reservation that convene to discuss matters between them.) Often travels to other reservations. He’s extremely rule abiding and loves history. He is one of the few mages who knows necromancy, and is otherwise a magician that utilizes electricity. People wonder if that’s why his last name is Volt, or if he decided to learn shock magic because of his name. Nobody really knows because he mostly keeps to himself. Despite this, he does take the time to care for each one of the reservation members, and truly loves them like a sweet little outcast family. Stays back on the reservation while the others go to find the soul mage.
Lauzio Liang is age 18. He looks Chinese, with light tan skin, brown eyes, and black hair. He is a spirit magician under the teachings of Duvasis. He’s as rule abiding as Duvasis, and is constantly engrossed in his studies. He’s asexual and hasn’t really thought of the idea of having a partner, as it is not important to him at the moment. Later on in the book, he finds feelings for Ruslexi. (I’m asexual and I hate the trope where the asexual falls in love and is magically “cured,” so my goal for this romance is to make it so Lauzio remains the same as he always is. I want to normalize the idea that asexuals can still be in relationships and still feel love for people--just not sexual attraction.) Goes with the group to find the soul mage.
Ruslexi Caviano-Desjardins is age 22. He’s white, with white-blonde hair and blue eyes. Tall and willowy. He was not born a magic user, but is trying to learn under the teachings of Ra’dair. He was originally cast out from society because he is a transgender man. I have some ideas for his backstory, but nothing is solidified yet. He’s super gay for Lauzio. Goes along to find the soul mage.
Jar of Hearts
Tatsuo Takahiro (Pictured left. Commission done by the lovely @emoryssketchbook. An old design of Sylvie is pictured on the right.)
Tumblr media
Tatuo Takahiro is a young noble in the country of Mircas. Originally born in Dafeld, a place up in the mountains, a place in which is mother and father own, he lives in the lap of luxury his whole life. That is, until the year he turned eighteen. Angry townspeople take out a contract on his parent’s lives and the assassin’s guild comes and kills his parents. His eldest sister Yoko is a part of this plot and she kills the rest of his eight siblings. The only reason he is not killed is because of the quick thinking of his head servant, Nobu. He moves to the Southern Reach, far from the mountains. There he buys a section of Hebury from a bankrupt Lord and he takes control of the elven district of the city. Meanwhile, he ruminates in his desire for revenge on his sister, who had destroyed his whole family and livelihood. When Yoko is sighted in Hebury, he goes to question the innkeeper of the inn she was seen in and comes across Sylvestr Grewenys, someone who had seen Yoko. He recruits the elf’s help, and the two go across the country in search for his sister and to get his revenge. Tatsuo is a pessimist and sees the worst in every situation. He is often very sour, and has a distaste for elves, especially Sylvie. He uses his influence to get around, and tries his hardest to make sure people don’t know about his past.
Sylvestr Grewenys (commission done by the lovely @illuminest)
Tumblr media
Sylvestr (”Sylvie”) is half wood elf that lives in the country of Mircas. He was born Sylvia, and is a ka’shem-al’sen. In our words, he is transgender. He comes from a poor village along the road to Hebury, the capital of the Southern Reach. Many other wood elves live there, as well as some humans. His father was an abusive human who essentially kept Sylvie’s mother as a slave. Also being sexually abusive to Sylvie, he saw Sylvie and his mother as nothing more than animals for him to do his own bidding. Catching a bit of bad luck in their farming, Sylvie’s father sells him to a known prostitution ring that operated in the undercity of Hebury. There, Sylvie is forced to live as a prostitute, unable to get out of that life without risking his own life. That is, until a prickly young Lord by the name of Tatsuo Takahiro infiltrates that prostitution ring and breaks it up, therefore saving Sylvie’s life. It isn’t until later that Sylvie is able to thank him, when he is questioned by Tatsuo on the whereabouts of his sister, who had been seen at the inn that Sylvestr stayed in. He joins Tatsuo in his search for his sister (for the money, of course. Though he also felt he owed Tatsuo for saving his life.) Sylvestr seems overconfident of himself, and is very flirtatious, not caring to use his body to get what he wants. He has a shitload of trauma that he’s forced to get through during the course of  this novel, and seems to find the unlikeliest of friends along their journey across country.
Other characters in Jar of Hearts:
Declina, Nadir, and Zenith: Three siblings that join Tatsuo and Sylvie on their trip to find Yoko.
Haerel: A beautiful androgynous Moon Elf castaway who joins the group while running from a group of hunters, hunting him for his blood, which is said to have healing properties.
Sorry this went so long, I just get so excited talking about my characters that I tend to ramble. If you made it this far, thank you so much for taking the time to read this. If you have any interest in my characters or any suggestions on development, please don’t hesitate to let me know. Thanks again!

So, as I’m wracking my brain in working on this scene (Filia has just found out the truth about the Ancient Dragons from notes left behind by the former elder in the secret chapel of Laurent) I figure I want to talk about the history of my Slayers Rewrites.  Because I find it A LOT of fun to retell various RPGs with the comedic nature of Slayers...
Cut for ramblage...read if you want!
So, I first heard about Slayers on the internet in the early 2000s.  I just happened upon a crossover MST series through searching for stuff about a game I like, and both Zel and Xellos had roles within.  There were also a few bad Slayers fics being made fun of on it so I got to somewhat meet the four mains and Xellos a bit more (Lina/Gourry/Zelgadis/Amelia are a team in every season, Xellos appears from NEXT onward, Sylphiel is in the first season and NEXT, same with Zangulus but he’s an enemy in the original, Martina is NEXT exclusive, Filia is TRY exclusive...no I have yet to watch Revolution or Evolution-R though I know a bit about them and you can blame that on laziness).  And being the internet savvy girl I was, I was looking up A LOT of stuff online to learn more about the show and the cast to see if I wanted to buy it.
Now, I get some VHS Tapes (this was an era before boxed sets and DVDs were more expensive than VHS) and see the first thirteen episodes.  That gets them through the first arc and ends with Lina, Gourry, and Amelia heading off to Sairaag in the second arc.   I didn’t have money to buy more at that point in time...so what’s a girl to do?  Simple!  Write a stupid fanfic that only requires basic knowledge of the series to do!  What I chose was to set the story after TRY, but only feature Lina and Gourry since I’d seen a lot less of Zel or Amelia to get a grasp on writing them.  I knew there was going to be something between them on the road, but never 100% get together by the end of the show.  Thus, shipping and getting married would happen!
The way I did it was write a parody...using Legend of Mana!  Basically, Lina and Gourry get sucked into Fa’Diel and have to do all the quests in LoM using the magic swords they found before being teleported.  Also, those two and their bottomless pits for stomachs worked wonders in giving them excuse to go to new towns or even new dungeons at times.  For added stupidity, all of the quest characters who joined you and all people related to their quests were character shifted to a variety of other RPGs (several Breath of Fire games due to the many demi-humans, Tales of Destiny because I needed feuding siblings, Arcana because I was self indulging my Muse, Lufia for the elf siblings by giving Jerin a twin).  It had some fun gags with food, Lina teaching her young apprentice to Fireball anything that annoyed him with every Wisdom they visited, Gourry being way too good hearted, treasure hunting with Lina...and of course Lina finding a curse lifting charm but losing it before she can give it to Zelgadis after getting home because Xellos is an ass!  It definitely is not half as good as the later attempt at novelizing LoM with Touhou, but it was hella fun to write!
Sometime later, after watching all of Slayers and having a grasp of all characters, I wrote a parody of Grandia with the cast.  This started my joke of having an “introduction” that is Teefa bantering with Sky and the cast with a cast list describing each role and then saying who is playing it.  With the cast lists, she usually had to post them in a rush after SOMEONE (usually Xellos) caused trouble and she had to intervene (like the time he got Lina riled up enough that she burned down the trees near the atelier, brought her lamp to life to terrorize everyone...or outright started a war with Filia).
My excuse for using Grandia was actually due to the second game!  Millennia had reminded me of an unholy cross between Lina, Naga, and Xellos, but the characters didn’t work for a parody using that one.  It had the hilarity of having TWO Nagas running around because only she and Eris made sense to be the Three Witches and Naga did get cloned TEN times (not counting the one with opposite personality).  Also, Amelia re-named Puffy to Justice because...Amelia!  This was also the first time I made Zelgadis from a race of people with Chimeric powers like his, due to the sheer number of demi-human races in Grandia (don’t ask why he played Rapp...but character importance, relations, and themes are more important than personalities since I can change anything).  It also was the advent of the “anti-magic collars,” as I had to keep finding reasons for Lina to get kidnapped as she played Feena (the first time, Amelia was taken instead as bait...second time, “that time of the month” but since the show didn’t abuse it I couldn’t...third, a special device Mazoku use to seal a more dangerous sorcerer they need kept alive).  It also started the tradition of Phibrizzo just offing Gaav like in canon (Valgaav wouldn’t betray his master upon hearing his true motives like Mullen did, thus Phibrizzo causes him to make a truce with Gourry and the others).  The fic also had the most uncreative name in “The Many Adventures of Gourry Gabriev,” (MAGG for short), and was so long I put each disk of the game in its own folder!
Next up was “Sword of Light,” aka a parody of Vandal~Hearts!  Featuring a lot of gender swapping (too many male roles vs. a show with a large cast of females and less males), having to BS a large cast (I even had to use minor characters and some non-Mazoku antagonists like Rezo and Eris as heroes to fill out roles), and Lina nuking a prison and just missing killing off several main antagonists by a few hours!  I also have fun with the fact that Eleni’s past self is also named “Leena” by making the name change just the fact that the outlying village and the main part of the country spelled the name differently.  And as the cast stayed together instead of rotated, there were a lot more comedic moments between more characters...notably when Xellos wins them a fight by purposefully antagonizing Filia in the right way!
It was not long after that when I decided that it would be cool to do Seiken Densetsu 3 (remember...worked on in 2006, no English name yet).  Why?  I’m not sure!  Might have been I was just playing it at the time.  Might have been after finding the LP archives and finally reading an LP to find out what happened after I failed to kill Zable Fahr on my own file.  I actually began it in 2006, according to some old journal entries from back then, however I know the initial idea was from my senior year in High School because I remember writing about it in a journal we had to keep for a class and write a page a day about whatever the hell we wanted.  But I don’t think I’d written either of the other two parodies at that time (due to some dated humor in my Intro for the first), so it was probably me just taking an old concept and renewing it it.  I mean...a mage, a swordsman, a cleric, a demi-human of sorts, a blonde girl associated with dragons, a sly violet haired guy.  Which cast am I talking about?  Trials of Mana?  Or Slayers TRY?  I chose to name it “Hikari no Ken Densetsu” in honor of the fact that this game was only released in Japan and most fans called it by its Japanese name.  “Hikari no Ken” is the Japanese name for Gourry’s Sword of Light, so it also fits in the way using the English name worked for the previous game!
I’m still not sure why I stopped writing at Elmekia(Valsena)...only there was reference to an interesting idea I wanted to look into.  And I never picked it back up!  Until now, when the Remake has gotten my interest in the game and its characters up to the highest level it’s ever been!  Even if I know I’ll probably go off and write a Hawkeye/Riesz shipping fic in between sessions at some point!  Especially if writing goes on long enough that I’m back to the Stupid Sexy Hawkeye run...because Fenrir Knight gives me LOADS of really dumb ideas for fanfic fodder!  Both ones I’d share and ones I’d keep to myself!

Remember Me: Novice.2
Previous Chapter
Marin frowned, glancing at her friend, before questioning, "What's that mean?"
"I dunno," Kai admitted. "I heard Mr. Bickslow say it before. But I'm pretty sure this is that."
Erza, who at the moment was cooking the children breakfast, only shook her head. Given Haven was out of the house for a few days, it was all too easy for Mirajane to pawn her youngest off on Erza. Well, in theory. Erza had actually hoped to do the same, but Mira beat her to the punch, given they were up at the bar that day where the barmaid had ample time to implement the concept. Not that Mirajane would get much out of this, no doubt, as Laxus seemed rather pissed at her still over the whole thing.
Still, a childless house is a childless house.
The swordswoman wished she had been given the chance to experience the same.
"How is it unfair, Kai?" she asked as she came to set plates of breakfast before both children. "Your siblings have become proficient enough in their magic that they are able to take such jobs. You two, however, seem content in mediocrity. If not worse; disappointment. For you to be given the same opportunities while refusing to flourish would not be fair."
Kai, having listened to hardly any of the things that left the woman's mouth, only said, "It's unfair, Erza, 'cause I can't go."
Duh.
Marin only nodded.
"Then," the swordswoman remarked with a heavy look to both, "perhaps you should improve the situation yourselves. If you want to be mages, you must work for it. Nothing in this world is handed to you. At this rate, I will be making you breakfast and having this same conversation with you in a year. Two. Three. Ten. Do you want that?"
"Do we have to have grits each time?"
"Kai-"
"I's just askin'."
Still, she shook her head. "One day, both of you will be sorry that you squandered your abilities. This is the peak time to thrive. To grow. In your magic. Especially you, Marin."
And the little girl frowned some, looking away, just from the thought of the woman addressing her. It was rare, shockingly enough, for Erza to directly speak to her rather than just around her and Marin was very embarrassed.
"How come especially her?" Kai wasn't offended. Just curious. He agreed, anyways. Marin could be way stronger than him. He didn't care none. It just meant she could protect him when Ravan wasn't about (or when Ravan was who he required protection from). "Huh?"
"She is the child of not only two very powerful wizards," Erza continued though, thankfully, once more speaking around the child in question, "as well as possesses a powerful lacrima. One that any one, not just the children at the guild, but anyone would kill for. To be blessed, not once, but twice, and then to give it away, to let the chance slip through your fingers… Magical power is not a burden. Neither is immense power. They are gifts only bestowed on those seen fitting. They-"
"Except," Kai cut her off because, if you didn't, Erza would just talk forever, and he wasn't up for that, "for bad guys."
"I- what, Kai?"
"Bad guys get magic too," he insisted. "Don't they? They get powerful and magic and that's not a good thing? Is it?"
"Well, I suppose not," she agreed, at least somewhat. In the next breath she was shrugging and remarked, "Although, I suppose an argument could be made that there is no good without evil, to begin with, so at it's core, magic has no say in those sorts of things as, considering it is a concept rather than a living, breathing thing, and would have no understanding of such human determinations-"
"Then," Kai kept up, as well as he could anyways, "do you want us to learn magic so badly?"
He'd brought her back to her original point and, with a sharp look to both children, she only claimed her only seat at the table.
"Because I will not always be here to care for you. Nor able to. And there is no skill to fall back on better than magic." Still, she shrugged some. "Unless, of course, you have another dream you wish to share with me-"
"Nope." The little boy even shook his shaggy head. "None."
"Just," the woman sighed in response as Marin too seemed at a loss, "as I feared."
Still, the woman would be happy to find her more studious understudy had made it through the night, at least. In fact, it was he who got up early that morning, before dawn, and headed from the tiny camp the kids had made into town. There was a bakery only just opening and he purchased some biscuits.
He just so happened to get enough for everyone.
Happenstance, honestly.
Ravan was glad, anyways, to find the other still asleep when he got back. It gave him an excuse to go and kick each and everyone of them in the head. He was just about to finish off with Navi when the girl yelled, "I'm awake, I'm awake!" and bounced up, away from him. The gripes of Haven and Locke were enough of a warning, anyways.
The walk the rest of the way was done in mostly silence as all four of the children seemed to grow nervous at the prospects before them. Though they'd gone on plenty jobs together before, they were typically menial work, things that were beneath the more seasoned wizards in the hall. Starter jobs. And though they'd all gone on more serious adventures with both their respective adults as well as one another's. This was different though.
They were the ones in control. Whatever happened, or didn't happen, all weighed upon their shoulders. It was up to them and only them to make sure that this all went fine. And if it didn't, well, there was a good chance they wouldn't be allowed another opportunity at this sort of thing for a good number of months, if not a year.
They couldn't fail.
They wouldn't.
The place felt deserted when they arrived. There were gates surrounding the city, but they were open and baron. It was nowhere near as big as Magnolia, Haiko wasn't, but it was still a pretty lofty town, and they could tell people were home, at least, as they were watched from windows as they strolled through the streets.
"This place," Navi remarked softly as she stayed close to Locke, the atmosphere causing her more than a bit of unease, "is kinda creepy."
Ravan, annoyed, asked Haven, "Where are we supposed to go? Should we just go knock on a door and ask?"
"To the town hall, I guess," she said, but Locke only frowned.
"If the city is taken," he pointed out slowly, "wouldn't you think that's where they'd hole up? The people holding it captive? And wouldn't there be some sort of patrol? On the street? I mean-"
"Hey! You! You kids!"
And they all froze then (Navi even jumped a bit), as they found the source to be coming from a building they'd already passed, an apartment of sorts, from which a man stuck his head out of a window on the second floor.
"Yeah, you," growled the man. "Get in here!"
They were unsure of themselves, the kids were, but the natural authority of an adult addressing them more than lead them to head that way. The second they were close enough, the front door of the place was thrown open and they were drug in. As they tumbled to their feet after being grabbed, each child got into a fighting stance, glancing around at the adults that surrounded them in the entrance of the apartment building. But they didn't look like a gang of thugs. In fact, though it was two men who'd dragged them in there, women and children were down in the entrance way as well, all staring at them with wide, round eyes.
"Who are you?"
And that came from the man that had yelled at them originally, all four of their eyes following him as he rushed down the stairs to address the children.
"And why are you here?" he kept up. A stocky man that had to at least be Laxus' age (which made him ancient, truly), he seemed rather huffy and had an air of importance about him. "Have you not heard the news? This town is under seizure."
"We know." Haven is the one that relaxed first, finding her voice much easier than the others. "We're here to help."
"Help?"
"We filled your job. We're the wizards who've come to-"
"You?" The man's tone then changed, more to one of amusement and, though they all still seemed rather tense, some of the others around did give off something of laughs. "Your children! Surely, you are joking."
"Surely," Ravan growled, "not."
And each child barred their guild marking then. Locke's black one on his left shoulder, Navi's pink on her right, Ravan tugging at the neckline of his shirt, just enough to flash the red marking, and Haven, always the most complex in every situation, had to turn around and lift her shirt, just enough to show off the black ink in the center of her back.
"We're Fairy Tail wizards," Locke insisted and, given his age was just enough over the other children that, finally, he was edging towards puberty and therefore looked more suitable, there was much more belief in the eyes of the others then. "We've answered your job request. Now please, tell us what it is that's going on here."
"Children. Fucking children." He grew kind of agitated then, the man in charge seemed to be then, and only huffed. "Well, you might as well head on back. We don't need the help of the children. I'll write the other guilds again, the capital. Someone. We need serious help. So get out of here! Fucking children."
Locke and Navi looked to Haven, as always, but it was Ravan that spoke then, even snorting.
"Are you stupid?" he asked the man though he was looking around at all of them. "Huh? We just told you we're wizard. It doesn't matter how old we are. If you need help, you need us. I'm Erza Scarlet's student. And you laugh at me? Do you want to save your town or not?"
That got silence once more as the man before them seemed to consider this. The eyes of the other people gathered around fell to him and, with a long sigh, the man turned to head up the stairs.
"Come on then," he told them. "Come upstairs with me. We will speak there."
Haven was glaring at Ravan and as Locke and Navi rushed after the man, she only trailed after the other boy.
"You're Erza's little student now?"
"Shut up, Haven," Ravan growled under his breath at her. "Do you really wanna fight right now?"
No. And she didn't have time to, anyhow, as once they were upstairs, they were led right to a room off the hall.
Once the door was shut, the man addressed them.
"I, as you may have guessed," he began, walking slowly before the children, "am the Mayor of Haiko. Jamock, you can address me as. Formally a general in the King's royal army. I've always run my city the same as you would a ship. And yet, when in our time of need, does the capital come to me? Does it send aid? No. Just a letter informing us that, at best, we can hope for assistance in the coming months, but our best bet was to request it from...wizard guilds." The latter words were said with palpable disgust and the children only exchanged glances. But just as quickly, the man was continuing. "So I do it. I reach out to only the best. And what do they send me? Brats. Children. As if I do not have those in my own city. As if they somehow can save something which I-"
"What are you even talking about?" Haven, after having been one upped by Ravan downstairs, refused to allow him to take command once more. "Why are we here? What did you need assistance with? And how did a dark guild get involved?"
The mayor sighed then, stopping his pacing before the children, as he said, "There was a...sickness that spread, rather harshly, throughout our town. We were quarantined until it passed, but following that, there were many expenses in the city and not much through traffic, obviously. The burial costs alone, along with the orphaned and still too weak from their illness to work… We needed help. Again, the capital gave little aid, and I was fearful over our town's chance at bouncing back. Then a man showed up, at the city limits, and offered the assistance we needed. He had men that would help with the final cremations, burials. Jewels to get our soup kitchen through the next few months. Help us get back on our feet. It sounded too good to be true. All he wanted in return was housing for he and his men. But then..."
"So many of you are sick," Locke answered. "Or you were. And unable to fight back when the man, who I guess was part of a dark guild, brought his men in. They run your town now. Right?"
"Aye." He bowed his head then. "They have locked themselves inside my residential, governing building. There is a magical spell that forbids I and my men entry. I cannot cross a certain boundary, much less face the...thugs that they have residing in there. Please. If you are truly wizards, drive these men out of town and allow us to continue our attempt at survival."
"We'll do you one better." And Haven reached over to shove Locke forwards, towards the man, saying, "He knows some medical magic. He'll do what he can to take care of your sick. The rest of us will go and break through the barrier. Save your city."
He let out a long, slow breath then, the man did, before warning simply, "The man in there...his men… They are tricky. Proceed with caution."
Locke, not too keen on being left out, followed the other kids down the stairs and out the front door, grabbing Haven's arm as he frowned the second she was facing him.
"Are you sure?" he asked. "That I should stay behind? What if you need me."
"We won't."
"Haven-"
"You're the one always saying this is what you wanna do." And she jerked her arm free from his grip. It wasn't difficult. "To heal people. To save them. So you do that. We'll do the rest."
"You can join us, Locke," Navi assured him with a nod. "When you're done here."
But as he glanced around at the buildings that seemed to house many eyes, peeking out at them, he had a bad feeling that he wouldn't be free of his medic duties for a good while.
The mayor was in the doorway then and called out to them that they should find the residence in the center of town before setting a hand on Locke's shoulder, patting it stiffly before leading him back into the apartment building, no doubt to begin healing the wounded.
Haven, Ravan, and Navi felt a bit better then as, with a clear directive, their nerves were settling once more. Though the hard part was only just upon them, they were finally feeling like they belonged. They could do this. Whatever was waiting for them in the mayor's building was no more tough than dealing with the man himself. How could it be?
Laxus still had zero confidence, however, in his daughter and her friends as he mostly spent the day growling in his office as only Mirajane seemed brave enough to even address him. It wasn't like she too wasn't worried though. Or at least conscious of the danger. She'd feel much calmer when her oldest was back in her midst, fine, but she still knew that there was nothing worrying would do for them. Any of them.
The kids would come back, one way or another. She couldn't spend the next few days stressing about it.
"I'll take a juice. And one for Marin too."
Besides, she still had two other kids to fret over.
Kai seemed rather down though, as he slid some of his allowance across the bar to Mirajane, even sighing as his head fell to rest on the cool surface. Marin looked on mournfully.
"What's wrong, kids?" Mira asked, glancing between them. "Do you miss your siblings?"
"No," Kai said bluntly. It was true enough. Ravan and Haven had been butts, honestly, recently. "We don't."
"Then-"
"Kai's sad that they got to go on a cool, fun, job," Marin offered to her mother, "but we're stuck here. And then Erza scolded us for feelin' bad."
"I thought you don't wanna go on jobs?"
"We don't," Kai answered. "But we still can like the idea of it, can't we?"
Mira sighed again, as she glanced between them, before saying, "I'm sure if you stick around here long enough, something will come up to take your mind off it."
The kids weren't so sure, but they did appreciate the lunch she served them over their drinks. Still, as business picked up, the woman shooed them off, ordering them to go find something fun to do. Marin and Kai were just gonna go hang out in the pull where she'd use her magic to manipulate the water for their amusement (it wasn't hard to do, anyways, amuse the pair), but as they passed the table her aunt and uncle were seated out, the children of course had to stop and say high.
"I dunno, Elf," Lisanna was sighing. "It's just so weird, isn't it?"
"What is?" Kai asked, never one to learn boundaries of any sort. Adults, children, who cared? If they were talking around him, he had no problem butting right in. "Ms. Lissy?"
She frowned some at the two children, but still, Lisanna only shifted over some so they could both slide in beside her at the table.
"I was just telling your uncle," she remarked to the two kids, "that some things around the bar have gone missing recently. I've been pulling shifts for Mira in the mornings, but every time I open up, it feels like something else is missing."
"Like what?" Marin asked with a frown.
"Just little things," Lisanna said with a shrug. "I first noticed that some cleaning bottles were missing, when I opened up one morning, but when I went to ask Mirajane about them, they were back. But a little more used, I thought. It happened again the next night too. But not just cleaning supplies. I've noticed towels going missing and toilet paper. Never food or alcohol though, like you'd think. Sis has been so busy with other things that she doesn't pay much attention, I don't think, to stock on stuff that isn't food or whatever, but I can't help, but shake the feeling that-"
"We'll take it!"
"Take what?" Elfman, who'd seem to be hardly listening, frowned at the little boy. "What are you talking about?"
Kai only beamed up at Lisanna proudly. "Your request. To find out where the stuff is going. You don't even gotta pay us or nothin'. We'll do it for the experience."
"I didn't hear myself offering a job to begin with," Lisanna mused, but it was with a giggle. Kai liked her a lot. She was a lot like Mrs. Master. Kind and silly. He liked that. "Although, for you to do it for free-"
"Don't sound much like a job anyways," Elfman added. "So someone's stealing stuff around the place. Hire a security guard. Not these two."
"Hey!" Slamming a hand dramatically down on the table, Kai told Elfman, "From one man to a half man, you should be glad I'm trying to work. I wouldn't insult a job you were on."
"He makes a good point, Elf," Lisanna added with a nod of her head causing her older brother to only sigh and agree. "Everyone has to start somewhere."
But she couldn't stay around for ever, the youngest Strauss sibling couldn't, but before she left, she told the kids to speak to Marin's mother and Kinana, if they wanted to hear more about the missing stuff. After bidding her and Elf goodbye, the kids set out to do just that, Marin still a bit weary, but Kai with his head held high.
He, of course, was going to make sure to bring this up to Erza over dinner that night. He wasn't useless. He could pull his own weight.
Back in Haiko, the other children were attempting to do the same. They found the mayor's place easily enough. It stuck out a bit, even, given that there was some sort of force field dumb around it, transparent, yet tented a light purplish color, a magic circle adorning the top.
"How," Navi sighed in defeat, "are we supposed to get through this?"
No one was too sure. Haven had kind of hoped that it was some sort of rune magic that was keeping them out. Maybe then she could at least figure it out, given all the times she'd been banished by her father over to Freed's as punishment. He'd always insisted to her that it was an important, useful skill to have, but clearly, it was more important to know whatever kinda stupid magic they were confronted with at the moment.
Ravan, growing agitated, only growled some as he produced a weapon from his equip space before attacking the part of the dome in front of them, striking it with his sword with swift ferocity.
"Knock it off!" And Haven shot a ball of electricity at him then, just strong enough to knock him off balance and down on his butt. As he glared over, she didn't even spare him a glance. "You can't just waste your magic like that. We have no idea how many guys are in there. You can't just use it all up."
"You have a better idea?" he asked with a glare, but she still refused to look at him. Instead, she began to walk away, around the perimeter of the dome.
"Maybe," she said, more to Navi than the boy, "there's something around back."
It couldn't hurt, anyways.
Following the perimeter, of course, led them around the gate of the property and though the barrier still stood before them, they could now see the back entrance to the building. Navi only leaned against the barrier, pressing her face into it as she stared in.
"Hey!" she called to what seemed to be no one before them. "Is anyone in there? We're from Fairy Tail! If you're in there, you might as well let us in! You can't starve us out!"
None of the children expected much from this and, for a minute, they got nothing. In fact, they were about to head around back front when, suddenly, there appeared a man, coming out of the back of the building. They all froze, the three children did, as once more, they were tensing for a fight.
"You're from," he called out to them, "Fairy Tail? You said?"
"Yeah," Haven called back, yelling, really, as if fearful her voice wouldn't carry through the barrier. "We're Fairy Tail wizards. And we've come to take back this town."
He was rushing then, the thin, frail man was, across the wide yard and through the back gate, all the way to the barrier. A few feet from it, the kids could see him much better and, honestly, they were a bit confused.
He looked nothing like the bandit they'd imagined.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you," he practically sang as he held out his hands, a magic circle appearing, just for a moment, before the dome around them began to fade. "We got word yesterday of your imminent arrival, but we could have never dreamed you would arrive so quickly. Come, hurry."
"Wait a minute," Haven asked as the man only beckoned them, almost in a beg, to join him then, no doubt so he could put the barrier right back up. "What do you mean you summoned us?"
The man deflated some, confused, as he questioned, "Are you not the wizards who filled our request?"
"Your request?" Ravan refused to take steps forwards until he had his own question answered. "Who are me?"
He cocked their head at them in confusion, studying the children in puzzled silence. Then, with a frown, he informed them, "I am the Mayor of Haiko. Mayor Dulwit."

Hello, yes, i would like to order THREE NEW BRAINS for all of us. Why do we guys keep infecting each other with AU ideas that end up in ENDLESS SUFFERING. Urgh, why. I hate all of this. Also I love it.
#help i've been swallowed by a dragon age
#lets call this au concept the
#three heroes no waiting au
#this is such an angsty concept i love it
#because it does require us dropping in at slightly different times
#idk if i like it more with us replacing the heroes or joining them...
#or maybe a mix of both?
#one of us becomes the warden and the inquisitor but accompanies hawke (room for a rogue there to save beth and carver)
I  feel sufficiently called out, okay. Personally, i like the angst of this a lot. Especially if it ends up in a way that we remember plot and try our darnest to derail the story and it always circles back to bite us in the ass. Or not even just us - the other twins triplets, too, who cannot rely on the story being the same at all. Sort of like the idea of "Both? Yes, Both. Both sounds good” in an unwitting way. In a way that comes with lot’s of self-questioning and less us being Triplet’s, I suspect.
In Origins, all the origin stories still exist. Triplet One is a Circle Mage alongside Amell. Or another Dalish in the Clan, or a dwarf of the smithing Caste, or Cousland’s cousin. Anything. And i’m even going so far as, where the people in the story are concerned, this Triplet has been there all along. It’s like you just wake up as this person who should not exist, and you have no or have not any memory of their past life. And when Duncan appears, somehow you accidentially take the place of whoever was supposed to become the Warden in this world state. (Or BOTH become Warden and you’re constantly wondering who is THE Warden) And depending on how we roll with it, the supposed-to-be-warden might be so attached to Triplet One that they become a companion, too. (Difficult with Circle Mage, easier for the others.)
In Dragon Age 2, why not be an extra child? You become the twin to The Hawke (Marian or Garrett, you take either of their place) - fanon!style. Will most likely be very off-putting if people keep refering to you as Marian, i suspect. It just means there’s two Hawkes who are the oldest sibling and Triplet Two constantly has to worry about who is leading this quest, because sometimes it seems like they are “The Hawke” and sometimes it leans strongly towards the other of you.  Also, yes to keeping the other hawke twinsies alive. Let’s go for the max and have four Hawkes in this story. Also, this twinsie will probably be busy 24/7 trying to keep the Tragedy of Hawke to become a Tragedy.
Also, just imagine: If Triplet One fucked around with the story enough, Kirkwall could go a little differently. Like, Zevran, Leliana, Cullen. They could all be somehow different, appear at different times. The Tale of what happens in Ferelden could be very different. Alistair might not be King.
In Inquisition, I’m tempted to go rogue to the concept-of-two, because several anchors is for the other AU. How about Triplet Three IS the Inquisitor, anchor and all. But what about the supposed-to-be-Inquisitor? Not sure. I was tempted to pull and Anders and go body-sharing but that would be very off-putting and complicated. It could also be hilarious if another person stumbled out of the fade along-side Triplet Three and Triplet Three is aware that this is the supposed-to-be-Inquisitor-person and feels guilty and makes THEM into a companion, thinking that maybe they can still pass the anchor to them SOMEHOW or hoping to keep them in the narrative for purposes. (If this person is a human female and Triplet Three is not, you would bet your ass the chantry would be trying to spin this into a tale where this other person is Andraste Reborn, saving your ass, or sth.)
And then imagine the chaos when Triplet Three realizes that the backstory is all wrong. Like, maybe there never was an explosion in Kirkwall - or if there was, the story is that a Templar Exploded the Circle to kill all mages, or to free the mages or ....? But a conclave happened anyway? Or At least - Corypheus happened? And again, Cullen and Leliana could be very different. There is also the issue of Morrigan (with or without child, btw).  And also Varric’s Tale of the Champion is HELLA DIFFERENT WHAT THE FUCK
Yet Another Dragon Age Triple AU Concept For Your Consideration
This is a callout post targeted at @neverending-shenanigans and @lucide-dreamer-dreams because the obvious answer to “what if we transmigrate” is “a trilogy in which one of us is/joins the Warden in Origins, one of us is/joins Hawke in Kirkwall, and the third is/joins the Inquisitor in Haven.”
If we ARE the protags then maybe we can drive things so far off the rails that Inquisition happens differently, if we’re just Additional Companions then what does that mean - how are we connected, what can we impact? Most importantly, do the Warden and Hawke now BOTH show up to help the Quiz with the Wolf Problem???

Havniil Official Explanation
I thought it would be fun to draw warriors cats as Havniil. This post is basically an in depth explanation of the Havniil so that nobody's confused though since they are of my own design.
The Havniil are a fantasy race/species/ whatever you wanna call it of my own making for an original story/setting my older sibling and I are working on. They "present" a variety of feline features, appearing as anything from upright walking cats to looking completely human.
The features they can present as feline are: eyes, ears, teeth, tail, whiskers, claws, markings (on their skin no actual fur and it can be only in patches or specific places), fur, and body shape (this is the point they become upright walking cats and it's actually incredibly rare since it essentially requires ALL of the previous traits in order to even have a chance to present)
The amount that they present corresponds to their place in the hierarchy of their society. So a Havniil that has cat ears and eyes would be in a lower position than one that had ears, tail, markings, teeth, and eyes. However a Havniil won't grow any more feline features than they are born with. So, except under specific circumstances, an individual cannot advance past their social position. Earning the title of hero is one such way a Havniil can advance in society.
For a warriors analogy, a clan cat would present as more feline than a non-clan cat. Most kittypets would not have more than three feline presenting features (usually ears, tail, and eyes). In the setting the Havniil were created for, about three features would make them attractive to humans, meaning they're more likely to be pets.
As far as physical appearances go, I tend to base them off of cats. Their skintone would be based on the kind of climate they're in, but also the amount of cover in their territory. So those Havniil from northern tribes would be pale, but so would those from a forest because of all the cover. The forest tribe wouldn't be as pale but it would still be pale compared to those in a desert or other open environments. For example, if I were to draw Bluestar as a Havniil her eyes would be blue and her hair would be blue-gray. I'd give her blue-gray ears and a tail and probably give her teeth and claws as well. Her skin would be light-medium ish somewhere in that range. Being a leader I'd probably give her patches of blue-gray on her skin as well, but not all of her body I don't think???? Anyway, Havniil are also small compared to humans.
Havniil society is very community based. They live, hunt, and gather other forms of food in groups. They're organized into tribes and live across an entire continent. The continent stretches from the northern reaches of the world to the southern temperate area. The evening meal is a community feast, where every individual living in the tribe comes together to eat and talk and share stories.
Each individual Havniil has a role to fill. Their first role is chosen at birth based on their inborn skills, but they can choose to learn more than one role once they complete their training and do some service in their previous role. As far as actual roles go, I haven't covered all the bases but I've got a decent amount.
The leadership/advisory roles all have criteria for the individual entering the role to meet. They must be of a specific social standing (presenting at least four feline traits), and they must have filled two non-combative roles previously (basically roles that don't fight or hunt). The leadership and advisory roles are:
Tribe King/Queen: the leaders of each individual tribe of Havniil. They present as more feline than human with very few exceptions.
Tribe Prince/Princess: the main advisor to the king or queen. They do not have to be related to the king or queen and more often than not are not related to them in any way.
Healer: basically a Havniil doctor can essentially do what they want if lives are on the line, even directly defy their Tribe king/queen. Also act as an advisor to their king/queen.
Enforcer: judge and police officer all rolled into one. Answers directly to the tribe queen/king. They act as an advisor as well.
The roles available to any individual are:
Hunter: specialize in fighting mages, alchemists, and gunslingers. The Havniil are unable to use magic themselves so Hunters are outfitted in a special metal that absorbs magical energy to a point. Their weapons are made of the same metal and can also redirect that magical energy towards their enemies. They use heavy weapons more resembling human weaponry and heavy armor and focus on hitting HARD and QUICK. They are trained exclusively for battle and do not participate in hunting prey.
Shadow: specialize in stealth and speed. Shadows use light weapons uniquely designed by the Havniil and little to no armor and focus on precision and mobility. Shadows are also part of hunting parties and are the main attack force that takes down their prey.
Guardian: specialize in defense and endurance. They use heavy armor and weapons designed specifically by the Havniil and focus on mobility and the ability to draw attention of enemies and take hits. They protect the Shadows from possible dangers while the Shadows take down prey.
Runner: specialize in speed and endurance. They work with Shadows and Guardians in hunting parties to draw prey, especially Aisoth packs toward the main hunting party. Then the Guardians will occupy the majority of the pack so that the Shadows and Runners can take on the members of the pack specifically deemed to be prey for the hunt. They are fast and agile, able to round tight corners and even completely turn around without missing a step (of course they lose speed but they don't stumble) in battle they also herd enemies into the waiting Guardians, Shadows, and Hunters. They appear to be solitary, or in a group of two or three but really they're part of an entire battle/hunting party.
Harvester: they are in charge of foraging for plants to eat. Harvesters work in parties of three with two Guardians accompanying them.
Scouts: live among humans to see what they're up to and the state of the world beyond the Homeland. They are required to be able to physically pass as human.
Engineer: specialize in using and advancing the technology the Havniil have access to.
Architect: specializes in designing... everything, not just the cities but just everything
Communicator: specializes in communication and in many cases manipulation. Communicators use technology and their charisma to make sure things run smoothly and are often in contact with scouts in the world
Explorer: do exactly that, they travel far from home to find new things and send reports back to their tribe prince/princess.
Lore Master: keeps all the history of the Havniil and their relations with other peoples.
The Havniil diet consists mostly of large animals, fruits, and seeds. While they are settled, they do not grow their own food, instead hunting and gathering from their territories. Their territories are quite large usually. I honestly don't have an exact size but each tribe is like it's own kingdom. The Havniil also tend to hunt animals that live in groups, whether it's packs or herds or whatever. Their main source of prey are the Aisoth packs native to their territory. Havniil do occasionally eat smaller animals as well though.
Aisoths are huge wolf-like pack animals that are able to inhabit most environments. They have disproportionately large claws and horns on their heads, spines on their backs, and smaller horns on their chins. Their pelts vary in length and color depending on the environment they're in.
Anyway, back to the Havniil.
Havniil mate for life. They tend to have difficulty moving on from someone they loved as a significant other. It takes a long time to get over someone. They usually don't take a second mate. Its frowned upon in the society to do so, especially if their mate died as opposed to just leaving them. That being said, if a Havniil leaves their mate for another one they face exile from the tribe. Its seen as a sign that the individual is disloyal and cannot be trusted. Some Havniil never mate and that isn't even that unusual in their society. Many Havniil, especially in higher positions in society dedicate their lives to their tribes instead of taking a mate. Also, please don't assume Havniil are all straight because that is not true. Their significant other can be any gender. Speaking of gender, in Havniil society, there are four general gender categories. I don't have names for them cuz I'm bad at naming things, but they're basically feminine masculine, masculine feminine, feminine, and masculine.
Havniil can also mate with most other races/species/whatever in the setting, including humans. They usually have twins but can have as many as 4 babies at a time. Even if it is not the Havniil that carries the babies, twins are still common. Obviously quadruplets are not nearly as common if a Havniil isn't carrying. No matter how a Havniil presents or how diluted their blood is, they are still considered Havniil if there has been one that presents at least one feline feature in their family line going back as far as 6 generations. So any individual that fits that criteria would be welcome in the Havniil homeland.
Havniil have stronger senses than humans and are easily over stimulated. In their own society steps have long since been taken to mitigate sensory overload but most others aren't even aware it happens so easily.
