Adjective: Fierce

Noun: Finch

Definitions for those who need/want them:

Fierce: having or displaying an intense or ferocious aggressiveness; (of the weather or temperature) powerful and destructive; showing a heartfelt and powerful intensity; (informal) fashionable or attractive in a bold or striking way

Finch: a seed-eating songbird that typically has a stout bill and colorful plumage

#im a bit late again #but not as much as i have been lately #and thats a win to me #as per usual ive been busy #ive been working more on a couple creative pieces (specifically art)#and my girlfriend and i went to their works holiday meal (which was pretty nice and we had a good time together)#and we were pretty tired when we got home #anyway i like this prompt a lot #i mainly like it because i love birds (and 'finch'es are way up there for me)#but 'finch' specifically makes me think of 'its nesting season' by brian david gilbert (which fucking slaps)#and likewise i know my girlfriend loves 'finch'es and gold'finch'es in particular #so this prompt has quite a bit of emotional and sentimental weight to it for me #and i will probably draw from all of that when writing my poem #thanks for reading #writing #writer #creative writing #writing prompt #writeblr #trying to be a writeblr at least
