sometimes I wish I was capable of getting into horror media because some of the things I see look genuinely interesting but I just get scared too easily unless I'm like watching a youtuber play a horror game or something
#even that can be kinda scary sometimes if the youtuber doesnt cancel out the horror content enough#in case youre wondering this post is mostly about that arg or whatever it is called welcome home about those puppets and stuff#it looks really neat but nobody has made a particularly extensive explanation of it that i can find and i dont think i can do it by myself#hopefully someone will make an explanation video or something because the characters seem cool and its very popular right now#but even the wiki doesnt really have enough info for me to just read through it#i guess its pretty recent though so maybe as time goes on things will become easier for me to access (somewhat) comfortably#my posts#video games#horror

It's so sad that even people on KHInsider forums are saying that Kingdom Hearts is dead (the community interacting with each other right now, that is).
But it's so true. Because we have had no content for years and really nothing to talk about.
I really wonder what Square Enix is thinking with this decision. Sheesh.
#some of it is surely because of missing link... but as i've said before: missing link has honestly been mishandled#when they were realizing that they were having all these troubles with it years ago they either should have canceled it/made missing link#for another console or whatever if they needed to (or not made it an arg)#or released another game in the mean time#like don't we supposedly have multiple kh teams now? what happened?#but there's also another problem now too... there are honestly TOO many kh games for new fans to get into it#by the time khiv comes out there will be fourteen titles that they're mostly expecting fans to know to understand the story#and that's not counting the mess that is the khux saga#that's two less than mainline final fantasy! and they expect people to have played and know all of that!#yikes#honestly... khiv needs to. in as many ways as it can be. be a fresh start with this new saga where you need to know as little as possible#going forward for this new saga from the previous games#anything else is asking way too much from new players that they WANT to bring on and even old players tbh#sp yeah... they're in a bit of a pickle and i'm not denying that. not that i even think this is even they're issue#i think it's missing link issues their financial issues and whatever their new president has decided#but even though i know this probably would have been impossible...#because it will probably be a game on par with khiv#if it were me. and i had realized that missing link wasn't coming out for a good time...#i would have tried to release verum rex (that they want to release anyway) and then have missing link come out when it can#then khiv oc

read this if you are stressed out by the current levels of clowning and/or anxious that the djenks bsky holiday special is leading up to a triple cancellation. if you are happy with your current clown levels move along
in early october david jenkins stated the following very clearly:
there was, at that time, no short-term hope of ofmd being immediately picked up.
there WAS longer-term hope; if the opportunity ever presented itself, he'd do it and thought the other important stakeholders would too, and he promised that would never change on his part unless circumstances made it impossible or absurd. (he also said something about how he'd always planned a timeskip, implying that he's thinking in terms of any revival picking up the original plans and not fundamentally needing to change them.)
i would contend the following:
not enough time has passed for either of those things to have likely changed substantially, in either direction
if there had been any movement toward a change it would be something still in tentative early stages, not a sure thing about to be announced, and i don't think he'd tease about it if he weren't sure (look how that went the first time)
it's unlikely djenks would be even trying very hard to change the situation in the immediate short term with a newborn just having arrived; even if he were absolutely determined to get s3 made eventually i'd expect he'd be taking some time off right now before digging into his efforts
if anything HAD changed that we should know about, djenks would be telling us directly like he always has in the past and not doing some sort of weird ARG
this is both good and bad. bad because i think it is highly unlikely that a pickup or renewal is about to be announced. good because i think it is almost equally unlikely that he's going to finish his little bsky fic and then tell us that was the real official plans for s3 and we should give up hope on ever seeing it any other form. i think the situation almost certainly stands exactly where it was in october: hope in the long term but not in the short term.
i think we should put a lot more trust in what djenks has explicitly said to us and worry a lot less about looking for coded messages.

To whom it may concern - the mutuals, the fandom-in-laws and the average movie goer. I would like to explain the plight of the Tron fandom.
The sequel announcements Disney pulled this year (2024) are insults to anyone who enjoys movies. There's nothing wrong with sequels, don't get me wrong, but to have a catalogue that has only 1 original movie announced is truly saddening, especially to those who love animation.
Then there's also the fans of Tron.
Tron (1982) was the first major motion picture to use CGI extensively for it's settings, vehicles, and many more things. Many of it's animators would go on to work at Pixar and pioneer CGI there. It was so early that it was rejected at the Oscars for special effects because it was considered "cheating" essentially. This isn't a post about the history though I recommend learning about it if you're interested in the medium of animation.
Tron was an average boxoffice movie. It made back it's money and that was it. However it became a cult classic. It's a strange movie- a bit hard to get into- I only fully understood the plot the second watch, even though it's not that complex.
It would spawn a video game sequel, Tron 2.0 (2003). Years later, in 2010, another sequel would come out, setting the current canon timeline (think of a Star Wars legacy canon and disney canon or Star Trek alpha or beta timelines- that's how the fans treat it) Tron: Legacy.
There were also other supplements, the ever mourned, cancelled after one season cartoon midquel Tron: Uprising- tie in video games and comics and a complete ARG before the release of Legacy. Then there was the planned third movie. It languished in development hell, canceled and uncanceled. (There's more complexity there, involving even, Tommorowland (2015) and of course money.)
Now what we're getting is Tron: Ares. A movie that doesn't even feature the actor for the character Tron, Bruce Boxleitner. There's also the fact that Cindy Morgan who starred in the original movie and original video game sequel was always ready to come back has now passed away. Jeff Bridges is set to return in some capacity, the most well recognized actor from the franchise to the point people assume he is the actor who portrayed Tron.
The first short trailer shown for Tron: Ares shows fundamental flaws in misunderstanding the concepts in the prior works, watering it down to an aesthetic. Most fans I've spoken with have little hope for a good movie at this time. It even stars the controversial actor Jared L*to as it's main character! All of these are red flags.
So, to those who read, please know, after waiting for a decade, Disney has decided to shill out a product with less love than any prior element in the franchise. And I mean even less love than the tie-in movie games for Legacy, of which are of varying quality. This is likely due to the opening of the US version of the Tron rollercoaster. The rollercoaster has more love and attention in it than the trailer shown. And with complete love to it and what I've seen of it- the movie should be a higher quality than a rollercoaster in terms of story and lore.
Our only current hope is for more visual novels after Tron: Identity was released in 2023. And I suppose the NIN fans will get a soundtrack.
Disney does not care about it's audiences. But it especially does not care about Tron fans.

Omg that CS snippet 😭 im dying inside, comooon amazon or whoever, deliver her new laptop! And should be on the house as well! Haha
Btw that healer!Tom, criminal/activist!Harry fic would be amazing 😍 it gives a little hannibal/will vibes to me, would u have any snippets of them meeting for the first time? Or like riddles first impression of him? Arg im in a fanfic drought and need something to keep my life source coming 🥲 love u loads ❤️
I meant to reply to this aaagggeeess ago!! Sorry!!
As for healer!Tom / activist!Harry - don't mind if I do!
--- -- --- -- --- -- ---
“Tilt your head back,” Tom ordered, his voice dropping low in a wholly inappropriate manner for a healer.
The auror next to the door didn’t hear, didn’t know, but Potter certainly did.
Green eyes darkened, pupils blowing wide and ravenous as he did as he was told, tipping his head back and revealing the tantalising stretch of his neck. Tom skimmed his wand along it, watching as the other swallowed and how it made his throat bob, before tapping the tip against the hinge of Potter’s jaw. He pressed hard, revelling in the quiet hiss it got him, and allowed his magic to coat the livid bruise that peeked out from beneath the stubble marring the man’s jawline.
There was a second, illuminated by the soft white of the healing spell, where they just stared at each other.
Potter was a handsome man, he could admit. Rugged and unkempt, with a hint of wildness to his features that reminded Tom of the orphanage. A type of hunger that was all too familiar to him. Hunger for safety, for power, for change.
This one’s dangerous, Tom realised with a spark of delight as he cancelled the spell a touch too early. His gaze darted down, fixing on the fading yellow that remained of the bruise. It would still be tender, and a part of him desperately wanted to press his fingers to the spot, to rake a nail over it and see what other sounds he could tease out from this caged beast.
Speaking of -
“Do they know those aren’t doing anything to contain you?” he asked under his breath, swaying forward an inch under the guise of checking the welt on Potter’s mouth.
He wanted to bite into the wound. Cut it fresh and suck the bead of blood that would well up.
Potter smiled, a quick little thing that broke the scab and had Tom’s attention riveted to the hint of red.
“No,” he whispered back, amused and enjoying it. He shifted his wrists, showing off the warded cuffs. “But they put in so much effort to arrest me, I figured I’d let them have this one.”

Sometimes when I see people talking about extracanonical confirmations of queer rep, I feel like the phrase "Word of God" gets a little overused — specifically, I think it gets used as a synonym for extracanonical confirmations in general, or sometimes, in a way that obscures how even true Word of God can cover several different things.
And like, that's genuinely not a huge deal, it's not a grave or serious issue — but extracanonical reveals are very much a spectrum. And to me, that incomplete spectrum (in an order that's deliberate, but malleable depending on the circumstances), is something like:
Confirmed in the primary source material (i.e., not actually extracanonical, so included only for comparison).
Confirmed in official secondary canon material. (Example: a spinoff, or a companion book that expands the universe of a show). It's official content, but may not be seen by many of the more casual fans.
Confirmed in an adaptation. Official content, but more likely to have a different writing team, may exist in a different canon, and have a very different audience than the original.
Confirmed in (usually unofficial) tertiary canon, which the creators made for fun or as a gift to the fans, but with actual production value and storytelling put into it. (Example: voice actors perform a script, or creators put together a website for an ARG/other lore). Almost universally seen by fewer people than official secondary canon, itself seen by fewer people than primary canon, but still a genuine piece of the storytelling.
Confirmed by a creator in official commentary, which is promoted/packaged alongside the source material. (Example: official commentary tracks on a DVD set, or a Q&A podcast episode in the same feed as the source material podcast.) Not any fan will dig into it, but it's right there for anyone interested enough to look.
Similar to the above, exept the commentary isn't packaged alongside the source material. (Example: the creator of a show has a podcast, but it doesn't air alongside the TV show, because... like, that just doesn't really happen.) Can and will escape the notice of casual fans, and yet, completely entry-level stuff for most hardcore fans.
Confirmed by a creator in some official, widely accessible interview.
And... confirmed by a creator in some random, ephemeral post on social media.
Obviously, these all have wiggle room depending on the format of the media, how self-published or "indie" it is, and how much the distinction between official and unofficial really matters. It's also an incomplete list — limited to either things I've personally seen, or things really similar to what I've personally seen. But I would argue, Cases 5 through 8 are Word of God, but Cases 2 through 4 really aren't.
Why? Because they're not just the creator telling you something out of universe. Cases 2 through 4 have some storytelling and production value around them, albeit to varying degrees. And lot of unofficial tertiary canon (Case 4), whether queer or not, has been a particular love letter to fans, in just my personal experience. That doesn't mean I prefer my queer characters to only come out under those circumstances — but compared to the creator just tweeting it or whatever? It's not even a contest. It's hardly even the same conversation.
And of course, this isn't the only axis for analyzing extracanonical queer confirmation — there's quality of execution, there's whether it's confirming subtext from the primary canon, there's how heavy or weak that subtext was, and there's whether trying to fit it into primary canon would've resulted in censorship (the mantle under which I include cancellation).
I've also glossed over Word of God versus Word of St. Paul, which can contextually make a difference to many people. But I just feel like we can have more nuanced conversations — about where representation has made progress, versus where it still has shortcomings — if we expand our mental picture of extracanonical reveals beyond just Word of God.
Have we made progress from "creator tweets a character is gay just to look progressive," to "character is implied to be gay in the source material, and confirmed in secondary canon (where there's less censorship) as soon as the creator gets a chance?" Is there still a problem with asexual and aromantic characters being extra likely to get extracanonical reveals, even in series that are queer-positive overall, but are we at least working our way up the extracanonical sliding scale?
Those questions are easier to answer when we note that not all extracanonical confirmations are created equal. And just personally, I do feel better about a lot of queer representation when I look at it this way — not because I think we should settle where we're at right now, but because it seems widely understood that we won't settle for random twitter replies anymore. And that's genuinely encouraging.

I can tell that if something new for Gravity Fall is in the works, Alex Hirsch would absolutely do the wildest promotion for it, whether be an ARG, whatever the Book of Bill event was or something else.
Like, imagen if this really large metropolis that is this website got flooded by water by the Dream Demon himself for a promotion for something new about G-falls. -
You wake up in your apartment to see the water trough the window. You get up to the roof of the complex to see what the fck is going on. You look around yourself -
There's already a full communal base on top of some buildings on the far left made by the Minecraft/Terraria users, @ranboolivesaysstuff and some of his friends like Racoon boy, Bee-goat, Crow father included. On the right there's a big ship sailing through the waters that's mainly full of monster truck pirates, mainly cause of the three main humans that are there, captain "Burn wheel" 's second in hand, the Mechanic, @flamy-789 - the third in command and some of the pirate users of here. Far in the distance there're lots of 4th wall entities, OCs and characters all over the roofs and in the sky. Pilots, wizards, bird people, pegisi, god-likes are flying everywhere. There are horrors beyond your comprehension chilling like it's not a big deal. On one group of roofs there are oversized hedgehogs sitting on them, with users like @weirdozjunkary, @taffydragondraws, @smallpwbbles with their au characters and right beside them the cast of Lego Monkie Kid are riding a Chinese Dragon. On another roof is the jsab gang, most likely where i and my homies the royal Cs are at, with @raisa-drawz 's @jsab-corruptedbond gang, the rest of the HOB trio - @deltaqi 's boi and @soulofzurvan 's boi @afrothunderxx96 's cast and such. On another one are the Team fortress 2 cast with Medic trying to save a wet inanimate object with @shinyzango and some Pokémon: strangled red characters watching it happen. Right beside their building is the one with the Bendy fandom on it, even some canceled aus are there with one being very recognizable. And to top it all off - in the far middle a fight between Perfect chaos and Shiny & Thunder is happening with AM on the side, enjoying the show. Oh, don't forget the people who are sailing their boats on the water below.
All I'm saying is that it would be chaos. And the funny Tumblr men such as @itsapmseymour would enjoy voicing it.

Hello! *pulls a dumbass idea out of my ass from last night*
It was a bit of an excuse to draw my favorite character as a girlboss but uh basically uhhhhhhhhh
gosh even if its mostly a text post i don't wanna embarrass myself
Uhhhh
ill just paste an explanation of what shorts wars is just in case one silly goober that doesn't know shorts wars accidentally finds this post
Shorts wars is a arg made by a bunch of dudes that make shorts and was created because of the clone accounts ( get it?? ) that steal their content. Basically when it started there were different bunch of QR codes that popped up on their shorts and when our scanned them they took you to a video where a guy named The Boss in a unpleasant gradient says that if they don't quit making shorts and rotting people's brains then they will get replaced. While a few listened, The rest didn't. And the other stuff happened blah blah blah. Anyways i also gotta say one of the creators was a guy named Danno and uh he makes shorts (obviously i mean this is fucking shorts wars what do you expect??) and he has a mascot character named Riggy who is a blue rabbit with red shorts, green eyes and a very interesting kill count.
and Preston/Clone Riggy is a clone of Riggy (obviously)
anyways time to bring out the other explanation
Why the fuck are they a girl here
well uh when i thought more about what Preston wants and thinks it sorta gave me the vibes of "possibly transgender" idk why it got that way but i sorta stuck to it as a bit of a headcanon
like idk man he's stuck in a body that looks like the guy he despises cmon man (ALSO THE DAMN NAME CHANGE!!)
of course, I have to note for the sake of not getting canceled by a twitter user that i don't view trans people as evil people. It just happened to be that i sorta headcanoned Preston as transgender because it felt that way to me
though what the fuck do i even know about trans people I'm not even trans
Also theres some deep very complex lore revealed in season 2 go watch a Datchia short or smth
ok cool anyways here's an explanation of the au
Ahem
Prrston feels like he doesn't matter n betrays the boss, After that he becomes the new uh boss or smth of the company
Preston also self reflects and realizes "Wait fuck maybe i don't wanna be a dude" and transitions
Why this story in particular?
because history repeats itself
especially when there's a possibility that someone from that time influenced what happened..
thats it ig
RAAA
(If you don't like this post then don't bother to say anything about it. I was already sorta insecure about this post existifnf)
(seriously i know i pulled this AU out of my ass and it might not really fit but idc man its my thing and i made the au)
(Also you're allowed to have your own headcannons i don't mind as long as it doesn't hurt anyone :3)

The thing favela 6 (mainly cellbit tbh) got over criticized/"cancelled"/public fights he had
• he along side other youtubers ware attacking/overly criticizing another youtuber (aruan) for cuting his 100k youtube plaque (it was a whole thing) cellbit shaded him and aruan shaded him back because of the criticism, it's very early 2010s circa
• screaming and being cringe while acting as anfitrião in ordem paranormal (a character that's the embodiement of chaos)
• he got the blink's ( Blackpink's fandom) wrath after joking at the fandom for saying that blackpink's song of the time had more impact then Michael Jackson's thriller because of YouTube wiews and he said along the lines of "Michael Jackson is really a floped on YouTube in the 80s"
• being a fucking nerd while fliting with his girlfriend (like im dead serious, this actually heppened)
• THE TETRIS SITUATION! Where he lost at tetris and got off a wiewer that made fun of him (he called the wiewer pesent with prime) and temporalily banned him, then Twitter got on flames EVERYBODY HATED HIM FOR IT, people would read his chat guidelines/bounderies to call him an dictador asshole and it was hell, a very intense hell, to this day people have a stereotype/joke that he is an clacisist asshole that hates poor people and peple till this very had hate him and ordem paranormal because of it, it's WILD
• he reacted a vídeo talking about the arg/analogue horror series "Lacey's Games" and got very heated and gave a very negative and rude rewiew about it, the creator is actually brazilian and got very sad with the rewiew, they discussed and cellbit apologized in the same day BUT THE INTERNET STILL MILKS THIS STORY! people ware acusing cellbit of being anti indie games (people thought lacey stuff ware actually a indie video game) and people ware also harassing ghost tundra for not accepting criticism of her story, stupid situation all arround
• Bagi gets hates from incels till this day for saying "men are trash" YEARS AGO (i mean is the same demographic that hates on a girl for geting a Stalker fired so, no much hope for those people)
• felps got called homofóbic because he said that he did't liked people calling him father/father figure
• mike, a Bisexual men that is married with a queer woman did't liked that a person that he did some minecraft collabs years prior was a homofobic facist (bolsonaro) supporter and said they waren't friends

different anon but it was the original one, they changed their @ to landoslut because they sort of left the QSMP community after being called out and canceled by Roier's community for xenophobia and for getting mad at him for still following Forever and not talking about serious things.
Roier brief cancellation and Minor update on the Forever situation part 1
Section 1
Retweet or you don't care!
Hey guys so I went checking out what the first anon said and they eventually sent a link to the account thankfully. However the original anon seemed a tad bit confused because that account didn't leave Twitter because of the forever situation but because they attempted to "cancel" Roier and failed.
I say cancel for a lack of better words. As I stated before the qsmp fandom has become incredibly political, A lot of people have started using the fandom to spread free Palestine content viva fan art and charities, most content creators of the fandom have share their support in their own ways.
One of the most common ways was retweeting the ricarhdlyson update accounts tweet the reason being it proved a lists of charities and institutions as well as pages for supporting Palestine its well made.
It is important to note, I don't believe this account is run by an admin it's not the same as the qsmp updates account, it seems to be fan run, it seems.
Non the less it's a good thread with a lot of information, and a lot of ccs retweet! Except for a few and Roier was in that few.
(Now in my humble opinion, who cares? Its great when someone supports the movement but I can't see myself annoyed that a creator didn't do the same, frankly I was completely unaware if Phil was even doing the strike and he's my main and I didn't let it brother me.
For all I know He could have donated in private or done other things to help the movement!)
The reaction to Roier not doing however this was incredible extreme and Unnecessary; they border on canceling the man for one tweet that was circulating when he was sick and possibly just wasn't online.
The main accounts that were supporting the cancelling were two accounts, the first one Cellegerha is an activist account that is ran by a fan of the qsmp.
The second is Kerol, yes that Kerol, the same one who exposed Forever without checking with the victim first.
I will bring these account back up in detail in the next section but observe the following.
Translation:
1) follow no forever (following Forever) I let it pass, he doesn't like controversy, I took it, but it's time to stay on the fence, right? it's such an important subject and you're silent vsf
3)gee, poor white man who will be affected there in the comfort of his home while innocent children are dying.
4) 🐰: shame on you for forcing a sick kid to come forward when he could get hurt in all this.
Kerol: last thing I'm going to say about roier for today: he has to lose this fear of being canceled, of being "ain if you get into a fight, if you say this or that you're not part of my community", with all this fear he disappoints the people who care about him and enjoy his content.
Retweet to prove Kerol said these things
Celleghera
They also had a private account where they express similar feelings.
i saw some cellboier clips today on mine
(two) and I think I'm getting to like roier again and the problem was his absence and the community
I think if it's up to twitter
never touch guapoduo and roier again.
roier It's taking away all the enthusiasm I was BEGINNING to have.
Now here's the effect of this.
1: I removed everything that involved Roier from my profile, if he decides to keep quiet I will just drop him
2: This is not only for Roier but to Quackity as well, he is other that never get Forever "unf" (unfollow), he let the man announce that was being removed from the QSMP and now this arg (I think they meant argument/discussion) is happening in the strikes week
STAY TUNE FOR PART TWO

Failed Promise
Well, this one isn't exactly an AU, but i feel like i should put him here judging i have quite a lot of info to go around on him
So, Failed Promise eh, my "failed" attempt at making a good sans creepypasta. A lot of the stuff im gonna explain here is actually from a cancelled series i was intending on making along with Low_Tus, so if a lot of info here is kinda new for you, then my bad, but i had huge plans for him that went down the drain pretty quickly.
So, the idea for Failed Promise was that he is an Undertale made in a different universe, to which it's version of Toby Fox, which we will be calling just Fox, created undertale normally, but instead of making the japanese version by himself, he actually sent the game to an specific japanese team to make the japanese version of the game for him, which leads to such version of the game that was made without his total supervision to end up being also "regionalized", which is actually an excuse for the team he had hired to fill the game in with creepy shit that wasn't in any way approved by him
Failed promise is one of the results of that separate japanese team changing the game for the japanese version of Undertale I'm not entirely sure what his point in the game would be? But apparently his new concept was that he was not exactly a sentient AI like the old version suggested him to, but he's in fact an altered version of Sans that has the whole "judge" thing exaggerated to the point he becomes a living threat to Frisk if the genocide route is done, with the game even having a bit of a spyware along with the launcher in order to retrieve information from the user's computer and use it to frighten the player even further, such as getting their actual name. etc. etc.
With that being said, i have to point out that Failed Promise is not actually the name of his creepypasta, but the real project was called Undertale: Enhanced. That is because Failed Promise was actually gonna be the main "antagonist" for the genocide route of the creepypasta, as Low_Tus asriel creepypasta character named Friend was also gonna be part of Undertale Enhanced as the antagonist of the pacifist route. The entirety of Undertale Enhanced was gonna be a VHS like set of videos accompanied by an ARG that me and Low_Tus were gonna make, but we ended up giving up on the project after i lost interest on continuing to work on Failed Promise due to not finding a way to make him with the exact type of disturbingness that i wished he could have. The creepypasta would have a very... japanese like type of horror for it, having a style quite similar to some of the videos VibingLeaf makes nowdays, focusing a lot more on feeling like a game that was made to be a creepy obscure game rather than your common "game with a soul stuck on it" or "game with a creature living inside of it".
Do i have anything more to say? I'm not entirely to be honest, i lost a lot of information on the project as a whole lol If you want to know some more info of the project via another's mouth, you could perhaps go out and ask Low_Tus for it, judging he was also producing the project with me and had put on just the same amount of effort that i was trying to put on it.
So uh yeah Failed Promise was gonna be VERY different to what you guys had seen previously posted on my pages. But oh well, one more cool project down the drain.

THE VOID RANT
OK, so I guess we're doing this now because of the last post 👏
VOID was originally a gender-swapped NULL (hence the name) but as I fleshed out the idea, I realized that she had some potential as her own character.
I originally made VOID with a wolfcut bob, trying to come up with a semi-modest haircut to mirror NULL's mini updo.
HOWEVER, roughly around the same time I pulled this idea out of my ass, NULL hit the public domain after mystman's BB+ ARG was solved (THAT WAS WILD, I NEVER EXPECTED THE REWARD TO BE THE PUBLIC DOMAIN RIGHTS TO NULL, HOLY SHIT, THAT MAN IS ON ANOTHER LEVEL), making me think "HMMMM 🤔 NULL&VOID would be a cute ship dynamic", so I went ahead and humored the idea of them being a couple for a little bit, instead of VOID just being a vanilla NULL swap.
Finding myself completely enamored by the idea, they eventually turned into a tragic couple (I'll get to that at a later date), even turning into a social commentary of sorts about something I face myself (I'll also get deeper into this as production goes on, cuz it's a pretty sensitive topic for me and this is already probably gonna be a pretty long post). It became a bit of a comfort ship for me to help me work through this issue via my art.
Now, since NULL was public domain, I was already planning on adding him into a comic I was developing; MOUSE (no doubt you'll be hearing more about that too since these two idiots are a part of it now).
I'd been writing it since 2007 on and off, but lacked the amount story beats I felt necessary to turn it into a fully-fledged series. But with these two being 'glitched' characters, they fit the vibe perfectly, offering the perfect opportunity to 'immortalize' them in the pages of this story while also adding a bit more content to a story that so desperately needed it.
God willing, I can only hope I do them, as well as my message, justice.
I'll no doubt be speaking more about this in the future, along with my other original content (like, non-BBIEAL stuff, if yinz're interested—and even if you're not interested, because my therapist told me to stfu and do it already cuz I have good ideas (??) and I should try it sometime cuz it'll help with my self-esteem or some shit)
Draco Noir will be a fun one, holy crap, hahaha
I made that one upsetting on PURPOSE; I... Am SO SCARED about how people will react to it, cuz it'll either be super edgy and everyone (who reads it) will love it, or everyone will take it the absolute wrong way and cancel me for it, but just know that it's SUPPOSED to be an uncomfortable read in advance, okay? Okay. Cool, please don't curbstomp me if it makes it to print 😭🙏
tldr; it's a gritty, grimdark crime drama about a dragon detective.
So lemme know if you're into that shit, too.
Also, there's a Baldi reference character in one of the volumes I have planned (because of course there is) but it begins and ends with his name being 'Professor B' and the way he's designed. Everything else is completely original, although I'll probably end up sprinkling in a few subtle references to the game and fandom lore with him.
But idk, this has nothing to do with VOID, asdgfkl—
See ya guys later

Had a dream last night that there was a new Welcome Home update
Part of it was a fake casting call that everyone was really worked up about, they were pointing out that it had spelling mistakes and weird phrasings and were convinced this meant Wally made it for some reason. He was putting up this fake casting call to lure humans into his trap and ominously disappear them. Time to cancel him on Twitter.
No I'm serious. That's what happened next. Wally got cancelled for disappearing humans because that's kinda problematic. There was some debate, though - everyone agreed this was a cancellable offence, but some people were arguing that there was really an IMPOSTOR WALLY who was doing the disappearing and trying to pin it on our sweet innocent boy. Alternatively, some people were like "smh guys, this is an ARG! So Wally isn't in control of his real and cancellable sin of disappearing humans; it should be Clown getting the pushback."
Nonetheless, it got to the point where he had to make an apology video. So, 2D animated Wally turned on his camera, in his Very Barren Room For Looking Humble In (TM), and did the YouTuber apology thing where they record themselves sitting down and doing a deep dramatic sigh while looking really sombre. He began to explain, in his own voice, what was going on, why he was in trouble, and then. THEN.
Wally stared straight into the camera, shrugged, and said with the speech patterns of like Logan Paul or somebody,
"what the fuck was I supposed to do? Apple Linguini???"
And I was so confused that I woke myself up at 5am like "hold on I need a break to make sense of this".
I "he would not fucking say that"ed myself awake.

wait i don't go here but what's the context behind a season suddenly getting noncanon'd .. i am interested
NO WORRIES BRO ITS A BATSHIT THING TO DO. heres how i understand it!!
(i promise it’s not actually that long, i’m just providing the read more for scrolling purposes)
the cpucs is a series made by a (at the time) gaming youtuber named alpharad and his friends. its made by pitting super smash bros cpus against each other and then commentating over it like its a real smash bros tournament. a good setup for improv comedy since the results you get are essentially random.
3 seasons of this later, they’d somehow created an overarching story for the whole series. in the season 3 finale multiple characters died, long-running character arcs ended, and it was the epitome of emotional payoff. genuinely beautiful. when alpharad and his friends stopped filming they were fucking flabbergasted that they’d created something so meaningful on accident.
after season 3 alpharad was like “well holy shit this is amazing there’s no way we’re gonna stop doing this.” so he and his friends put their whole alphussy into season 4 of the cpucs. like an entire ARG, a shit ton of worldbuilding, heavily expanded character arcs, and its own anime-style opening. they went APESHIT.
unfortunately after doing this for years, that thing known as Burnout started to creep up on them. every episode took a ridiculous amount of work to produce and they were releasing episodes weekly. according to alpharad, season 4 was “okay”. many plot points that they’d planned out didn’t fit well with the random results they got. at this point it wasnt just a silly haha improv comedy series to them anymore. they felt the cpucs had lost it’s magic.
thanks to being so unsatisfied with how season 4 went, and to the extreme burnout, the cpucs was cancelled entirely. there were 1-2 more planned seasons that will never happen. the internet is still unfortunately the internet. the creators of the cpucs were constantly harassed to continue the show for the next year. alpharad committed himself to making the content that he wanted to make, not whatever the audience was pressuring him for.
fast forward a few more years to Now, a friend of his offhandedly brought up the cpucs in a second-channel video. they laughed about it together for a bit, and the conversation turned to the cpucs as a whole. alpharad admitted he wished he never made season 4. it had caused them far more harm than good. a bit of discussion about this lead to, and i quote, “you know what? i’m gonna say it. i’m gonna pull that thing. i’m gonna de-canonize season 4.”
so now everything after season 3 is non-canon, including ALL THE SHIT they did for season 4. the ARG, the worldbuilding, the expanded character arcs, all of it. after everything alpharad and his friends went through for the cpucs it is completely understandable, but this does unfortunately take out like. half the story in the entire series. including my favorite character of all-time, naomi, who was the focus of the ARG.
i refuse to take this personally. that being said though… the other people who have been hyperfixating on this series and its lore for the last 5 years were left with no choice but to jump ship and abandon canon.
#i tried to make this shorter 5 separate times and i give up#ive decided its better to just post this than nothing at all#my apologies ‘:)#startalks#cpucs#alpharad
