Your Friend Silver (Elias) by @uuberwachen ! this was such an INSANELYYY well written story and it stuck with me for DAYS. it really slots in the space in my mind that holds the classics and the twists and stuff with it genuinely got me. i cant recommend it enough if anyone who sees it hasnt read it yet. i got so excited when i saw a dedicated ask blog went up. i wish i werent scared of sending in questions to those things

Pixel Blue: 3DS VIRTUAL CONSOLE (2016) by @calybunz ! ahhh this was such a cool one to read! id see updates on it incidentally n i can tell a lot of work went into it- it was definitely worth it! its well written with a lot of heart.. maybe im just a sucker for stories that focus on a sympathetic blue.. the ending made me so SAD dude what the fuck. though my favorite parts were probably the dream sequences- godd the imagery of it all was fantastic!

Glitchy Red: Retold by @lycankeyy / @glitchyred (idk which blog youd rather have tagged sorry). so i saw this when the official ao3 repost went up or got mentioned or something and it. really. resonated with me. like its hard to put my thoughts into coherent words, other than i had to just. Lay Down for the rest of the night after reading it and just feel whatever emotions struck me. it cut really deep but honestly- that's just fantastic. it's not often that i read something that makes me feel as viscerally as this rewrite did, and i have nothing but adoration for it because of that (we do have the plural bias which doesnt help regarding this lol). in my mind this is the definitive version of glitchy red.

A ship I have with said character: basic ass answer is franmaya... i do actually like them together, i think it could be a rlly fun dynamic to explore. also maya/regina was cute in case 2.3 (one of the only things i liked about it rip) i've seen some good maya/blackquill stuff before also but its not really something i ship just an interesting dynamic. in general though i dont really devote much time to shipping maya w anyone i think her canon platonic/familial relationships are already very interesting

A BROTP I have with said character: PHOENIX!!! nick and maya 4EVER they are so good. !!!!! i loveee their dynamic, they work so well together and really bounce off each other well. i also like the more serious aspect of how mia's death connected them and how they both share this grief even in very different ways. i like how even if mia hadn't died they still would've probably been friends when she introduced them :) anyway phoenix and maya are very fond of each other and i think it's really sweet - bridge to turnabout is one of my favorite cases in part bc of the very present bond between them and how much phoenix cares about maya (same w the engarde case, but that one is almost better in this regard bc of how maya's care for phoenix is also heavily present). also big fan of the silly part of their dynamic where maya steals his wallet and hits him over the head with evidence <3

another really interesting relationship that's less canonically present is maya & godot. what we see of them in bridge to turn about is soooo compelling, and i would have loved to see more of them. i think in a world where godot eventually gets out of prison he and maya could work to have some kind of relationship to both their benefit. <- its interesting how mia and mia's death is kind of a driving force for maya's connections to people, maya & mia is also deeply interesting and compelling but i could write an essay about them so i will just say that i love them a lot as well lol

General Opinion over said character: I LOVE HERRRR she's the og aa weirdgirl !!! maya is very dear to me, she's definitely one of my favorite characters and i love seeing her. currently my friend and i are playing aa4 and i miss her so bad :'( maya in general is a very endearing character, and she + her family is a big driving force in the trilogy which i find very compelling. she's also just cool! i love it when teenage girls have weird superpowers! i think maya is a very caring character who is silly but has really impactful serious aspects to her which are so awesome to see <3 anyway i did draw maya every day for months last year so like yeah u could say i like her a normal amount lol

Lion - I'm probably most proud of how far I've come over the last few years, I went through a lot and am still learning to live with some of it. It's definitely shaped a bit of who I am now, but I'd like to think I have grown from it and carried it with me rather than living in that dump forever :) AND MY FRIENDS IM SO SO SO PROUD OF THEM AND HOW MUCH THEY'VE DONE AND I WISH THE BEST FOR ALL OF YOU :((

Maine Coon - Honestly I'm not too sure how others would describe me, or even how to encapsulate my personality into one word--I'd like to say I'm energetic but I also have my moments of not being as much, I'm nice but I know I can be a bitch, I'm a lot of things but I'm really unsure of what word could describe me, plus I don't remember any good descriptive words rn :') (I'm so tired)

American Shorthair - I have many things that comfort me, id say my friends are my biggest comfort, as cheesy as it is. My friends remind me I'm not alone and have reasons to keep going, even when it feels impossible. I also often tend to latch onto games and streamers/YouTubers for comfort (a big one is hermitcraft!! :D), many of the people I watch now are people who practically raised me and I love them dearly. Another few smaller things that I find help comfort me are things like music, tea, or small things like animals (my cat!!!) or stuffed animals :3

Tiger - Another one that I'm not entirely sure how to answer :( "Being cute and being mine" -☀️ I think I went through the 5 stages of grief trying to come up with something that's all you're getting, oh yeah and my worst is probably the fact that I'm indecisive or like impulsive idk

Cougar - Hehehe fandoms 😇 Definitely undertale, fnaf, and sanders sides in the later years. I was (unfortunately) an aphmau kid back in 2015 but that was more watching her content and less fandom stuff. The undertale and fnaf ones definitely didn't ever stop, I got really into sans aus back during covid and relied on all three of those fandoms for comfort during the quarantine too. Sanders sides definitely helped me over the years before and during covid, it was definitely a rough time in my life as I was learning new things about myself and others around me, and it helped me so much with learning how to be me and accept myself as I am. As for a fandom I'm really active in now, id say the one I'm most active in is Hermitcraft (so surprising!!! 🙀) I got super into it back in season 6 when grian joined because I watched his content before he joined, and now I watch most of the hermits, I do tend to focus on a few each season while watching the occasional stream/video from the others though! I also listen to the imp & skizz podcast, and I find it rather comforting when I'm stressed, I love the hermits so much and they've definitely helped me so much without even knowing :) (and the fandom is so silly I love everyone)

Fishing Cat - I have so many I'm definitely going to forget some, I love learning new things and it's led to many hobbies that I do and will probably get back into in the future! :) I do crochet, it's something I have been learning since I was really young but couldn't get the hang of it for the longest time because my mom had a hard time teaching me it since she's left handed, I love reading, I read all kinds of things from old novels & poetry, romance and mystery, to nonfiction and sci-fi, I enjoy reading anything as long as it can keep my interest, and I loveee getting reccomended books (even though my to-be-read list is SO long), I like small crafts like jewelry making but it hurts my hands (especially the more intricate ones like fancy necklaces, bracelets, earrings), i love gaming, its a big part of who I am seeing as I grew up doing it, and even though i dont it as much anymore I still enjoy it and love playing games with my friends!! I enjoy drawing, but it's stressful because I'm not great at it and am way too perfectionistic over it. I used to paint but I never got too good at it and never had proper supplies, it was very fun though and I'd definitely get back into it sometime down the line. I listen to a lot of music, and watch youtubers/streamers. I like to go on walks, but with some of my health issues I don't go on them as often (I definitely will do more this summer though!!) and hanging out with my friends and animals. I plan on getting into sewing and possibly cosplay sometime so that will be fun to learn! I love creative hobbies, despite how stressful they can be when they don't go how I wanted it to :) I love seeing things I'm able to make evolve and get better and I get better at doing it, and I love consuming information and seeing people be people!!

😢😢 one thing about me is I have stim Hcs for my neurodivergent characters sooo yeah ummm I’m gonna share a few :3

Yelling and being loud is a stim but it’s also because he has bad impulse and volume control!

He grunts and coughs a lot and also grits his teeth

He has a lot of stims using his arms like clenching his fists, cracking knuckles, flapping his arms/hands (something he picked up from Malleus) and moving his arms a certain way

A lot of his stims include his mouth of arms/hands!

Most of his stims he keeps to himself, especially the ones that draw attention/are disruptive

He chews stuff A LOT. His pens are CHEWED UP. He finds it embarrassing but he can’t help it :(

He can get overstimulated easily, but sometimes it just depends.

When he’s overstimulated he tends to hit his head

He used to get overwhelmed and overstimulated somewhat easily and would start tearing up. When he entered NCR he decided he would stop doing that to be the best guard possible. He still tears up when overwhelmed and overstimulated but it’s rare and in like.. long extreme situations.

LOVES HUGGING AND SQUISHING/SQUEEZING. Gives bear hugs. Absolutely bone crushing hugs. His hugs could probably fix your back- or make it worse 😭

Has probably masked unknowingly, but it NEVER lasts.

Also has tics that tend to be triggered in cold weather. Occasionally warm weather.

Sebek is a very physical person. He LOVES hugging and doing anything with his body. He loves working out and moving and stimming because it keeps him happy. He just feels the need to be active or it feels like he’ll explode- he feels things very intensely and a lot of it stresses him out because his emotions are too strong and big to handle

Another thing is he’s terrified of kissing on the lips- Every time he tries to do it he gets scared and backs out- and if he does manages to kiss *insert person you ship him with* it doesn’t last- like. It only lasts 1 second and he immediately backs away because he just can’t take it 😭 not because he doesn’t enjoy it! It’s just he gets embarrassed and soemthing about it makes him really nervous

I think Sebek is half crocodile fae…so like… physically he’s a bit different… but not a lot compared to his mother or grandfather!! I think that he has teeth a bit similar to crocodile teeth! But because he’s still young they don’t look the same they do for his mom and stuff :3 (if that makes sense lol)

HE HYPERFIXATES ON ALL OF HIS FAVORITE PEOPLE/ CLOSE FRIENDS!!! I like to think he has hyperfixate on silver, Lilia, his mom, dad, grandpa,siblings etc. at points of his life.

On his parents when he was little, later Baal and when he met Lilia he hyperfixated on him, then silver. .. and basically it progresses like that.

Currently it’s malleus (obviously) but he is obsessed with other things, like culture and Lilia. But they’re not the biggest focus.

Oh he has loads of scars. Not only from him training and fighting, but because he loves running around! He has little scars and bruises on his legs and arms because of it :( accidentally hurting himself while having fun and running. A lot of times he wakes up with new ones too, it’s very confusing to him.

Sebek likes wearing funky weird little socks…. Like… I do think he wears formal white/black socks but he also has socks with patterns, matching ones, mismatched ones, colorful ones, ones with little patterns….

Eeek Sebek loves pink <3 and also likes yellows and reds but prefers pink he thinks the color is so cool and fascinating

OMG HE LOVESSSSS FLOWERS SO MUCH <33 he loves looking at them and collecting them! He has a secret book with a bunch of pressed flowers <3 he doesn’t know a lot about their meanings but he does really like them, and can identify some of them :3

His hair is wavy but also kind of nice to touch? He brushes it constantly so it ends up being somewhat soft

Whenever he loves someone or thinks someone is so super cool he will praise them so much <3 he is my hype man <3 he’s also very honest and pretty blunt so you can tell when he’s honest…

He likes making his own things :3 he loves doing hand crafted stuff….especially with like wood…. And plants…sometimes metal/iron. It’s kind of like a side hobby…..

He can’t handle too much spice- he can eat most spicy foods…

Could I request a scenario about rusty James where he’s been interested in reader for a quite a long time and it shows, (like for example he’s always around her, always flirting and very jealous when other boys talk to her….) and while she feels the same for him, she thinks he’s not serious about it and is just messing around with her like as if it was some sick bet made by his friends, so she’s trying her best to look unfazed and uninterested in him….it could be a bit angsty with a splat of insecurities and jealousy but at the end they kinda confess to each other (?) and it’s all good….hope this all is understandable sorry if it’s too much 😭💔

Rusty James didn't think he was mean.

In fact, he thought he was pretty nice compared to the other people around town.

Rusty got on the bus, and he just so happened to be the second person on the bus, aside from you.

He could've sat anywhere he wanted. And even if he wasn't the second person on the bus and didn't have much options of seats to choose from, he'd just beat the tar outa someone for it.

At least, that was your impression of him.

But he chose to sit right next to you.

Your breath stiffened as you paused your sketching. Starting to close your sketchbook before he started talking.

"What're you drawin'?" He asked, grabbing the book from your hands gently.

You stayed silent as he flipped through the pages carefully.

You were embarrassed and wanted to move seats as soon as possible.

You knew rusty James and he knew you. Y'all rode the same bus since kindergarten.

He looked through the detailed drawings of people that rode the bus with the two of you everyday, and stop signs that the bus came across at the end of every street.

"How come I ain't in here, huh?" He asked with a small smirk, his brown eyes looking deeply into yours.

You finally realised the question he asked and stuttered out an answer.

"U-uhm. I don't know. Just never thought about drawin' you I guess." You grabbed your sketchbook from his hands, putting it in your bag.

He nodded, knowing you were nervous.

Hell, he was just as nervous as you. He's always been like that around you, but never showed it.

Another person got on the bus, the doors drawing opening as the bus shook with every footstep.

"Hey Rusty. Hi Y/n, how was your weekend?" Steve asked you two, smiling ear to ear.

You really liked Steve. He was very kind, good grades and all. And you always wondered what he was doing hanging around with the mean dogs. Rusty James being one of them.

"Hi Steve, it was good. Yours?" You smiled back at him, giving him the same kindness.

"Mine was good. What about you rusty? Anything fun?"

Rusty shook his head, his hair waving back and forth as he did.

"Nah, man. Same old stuff." He leaned back against the seat that the two of you shared.

Steve went to go back to the front, where he usually sat, Rusty turning to look at you once he did.

"What about you, doll? Anything fun?" He smirked as you tried to ignore his ways of tempting you with his voice. His voice was one of a kind and you loved it so much, it was sickening.

"Nah. Just chilled all weekend. Smoked, watched TV, art. Nothin real special." You leaned your head against the window.

He perked up slightly as he heard you mention drinking and smoking.

"Wow, man. All these years that I've known you, my love. I've never heard of you being a smoker." He got closer with every word, his breath hitting your neck slightly, the air on your neck making you shiver as it tickled, before you pushed him away gently.

"Alright Rusty James. You can cut the crap now. You can pretend you got what you wanted and go back to sit with your buddies." You said, putting your walkman on as you looked out the window.

His eyes flashed a hurt expression before going back to their regular stare. He got up, grabbing his backpack as he went to the front, his friends patting his back.

He ignored the attention from his buddies as he kept making glances at you the whole ride to school. The flirty gestures didn't stop when you two got to school either. He threw an arm over your shoulder, making your face turn a gentle pink as he showed off his smirk proudly.

"Rusty what are you doing?" You forced out.

"What, man? I can't walk my bestie to class? Isn't that what you girls want these days? A gentleman?" He says with a chuckle.

You rolled your eyes as you took his arm off your shoulder, only for him to do it again.

"You are no gentleman, Rusty James. And I am most certainly not your 'bestie'. So hit the road."

"Well i've known you since we were five. That has to count for somthin', ma." He said with a bright smile.

You scoffed.

"We've known a lot of people since they were 5. We are at school. And I am not 'Ma' to you. I have a name and you know it. So use it."

"Oh I can use it alright. Meet me in the bathroom, ma." He said jokingly.

You flicked his nose. He sucked his teeth before taking his arm from over your shoulder as he just walked beside you.

"Well at least let me walk you to class." He said with soft eyes.

You looked at him with a debating expression on your face, wondering if you should take the bait or not.

"You mess up Rusty James and I'm gonna kick your ass." You say before walking as he smiled again, knowing you gave in.

"Yes ma'am." He said, walking beside you.

The two of you walked through the crowded hallway, people giving you odd stares. A few of Rusty's friends walk up to him, doing a handshake before talking about skipping.

"Can't, Walkin' her to class." He said, holding onto your backpack so he didn't lose you in the crowd.

His friends let out a series of "What?" and "Her?" as they pointed to your figure.

"Rusty, i'm gonna be lete if you don't hurry. Mr Coplin don't play about being tardy. I'm already on my second strike." You said, trying to get him to start walking.

He shook his friends off, walking with you. He watched as your hair flowed over your shoulders as you tried to make it to class on time.

Luckily you did. Right on time.

"Thank you for the tour of the school. Now will you leave me alone?" You said, unpacking your bag.

"Hey man, Watch it I'm sensitive." He said, his hand touching his chest.

You roll your eyes before siting down at your desk.

"Alright. I'll see you at lunch, ma." He said, twirling your hair before running off into the hallway, leaving you in your own train of thought as you process what just happened.

You were so confused. He barely talked to you. The only memory of talking to him was in kindergarten when you let him use your crayons or let him share your sleeping mat during naptime when he lost his. You were deeply in love with him but you already knew that it was just some cruel, sick joke to him. Probably one that his friends talked him into.

Rusty walked through the hallway, saying "hey" to friends as he walked by to his class.

It was lunch period and you sat down at a random table, taking out your packed lunch.

Which was just a sad sandwich that you made this morning, and some apple slices.

You weren't that interested in talking to him and you would've rather talked to Rusty about strippers and beer than talking about the war of 1812.

The kid was cut off by a hand tapping his shoulder.

"Hey. Hop up, man. I'm sittin' with her today." Rusty James said to him, before blowinng a kiss at you.

Rusty couldn't stand the sight of someone taking you from him and thinking it wouldn't be dealt with.

The kid rolled his eyes and left, his seat replaced by Rusty, looking through your sketchbook again.

He was in awe when he saw a new portrait of him.

"This me? Pretty cute, right?" He said smirking at you.

"If you say so." You laughed.

He gasped at you, making you laugh again.

"Come on. You know you think I'm cute."

You blushed before hiding it.

"Do I, though?" You smirk at him before getting up to go to the bathroom, Rusty following right behind you before pinning you to the wall gently.

"Rusty what is with you today? You have been so flirty and I don't get it. It's honstly starting to scare me." You say confused.

"Maybe because I like you, doll." He says, playing with your hair.

"Okay rusty you can drop it now. It's not funny anymore. I get the joke now." You said, not finding him playing with your emotions that funny anymore.

"What jo- you think i'm lyin, doll?" He said, leaning against the wall next to you.

"Well, I mean.. Yeah I do. The only time you've ever even talked to me was when I shared my stupid crayons and stupid sleeping mat in kingergarten." You snapped, not looking at him.

"Yeah and ever since I have been in love with you, huh? You believe that one? Because it's the truth." He said angrily.

You didn't look at him as you began to cry silently. You didn't understand why he was playing with your emotions like he was.

"Hey, man. I'm sorry for actin like that. Please look at me, doll." He said softer.

You hesitantly looked at him, only to be met with those beautiful brown eyes you knew.

"I don't know who told you I was lyin, but I'm not. I love you so much, doll." He said, finishing off his words with a passionate kiss, his hands getting tangled In your hair as you kissed back.

"Rustle James! My office now!" The principle yelled through the hallways.

"Alrigh alright! I'm comin'! Love ya doll." He said before pressing a kiss to your lips once more, then running off. Smarting off to the principle as he got onto him about something he's done.

"Yeah yeah. Whatever." He said before blowing you a kiss.

I love, loVE, LOVEEE superheroes!! Marvel, DC, they're all amazing!! I love Superman from DC and was a stan of Firestorm and also Booster Gold. ALso love the Batfamily lol. I prefer DC shows (MAWS for ex) more than the movies. But Marvel? Movies lol. Tho everything post-endgame I watch with a grain of salt lol. EXCEPT FOR MOON KNIGHT!! That show is the BEST thing Marvel has created in a long time. Spider-Man (all versions) is prob my fav superhero in general (comics, shows, movies), but for MCU stuff? Moon Knight all the way <33

I like Ninjago! Both the Movie and the Show!! (Movie Zane holds a special place in my heart) In fact, the Movie was the main thing that reintroduced me to this show. I used to watch it when I was younger but then I lost interest. I found the movie in June 2023 and have been a fan of both the show/movie ever since! I'm not entirely sure about DR... i like the concept and have seen all the spoilers but i prefer the OG series vibe wayyy more... prob just me lol.

I used to be a fan of Miraculous, but Season 5 made me lose interest. After LadyNoir became friend-zoned, the show went on a sad decline (at least in my perspective). But I LOVE the Movie!! And I also think that the Paris special (Shadybug and Claw Noir) is amazing!

I love Lego Monkie Kid <3 It's the first series I have actually watched in order without spoilers in such a long time!! It's a def must-watch XD!! I'm obsessed with the animation <33

My childhood fav character is Froggy. He's my favorite character from a book series called The Land of Stories. This series was the main spark that kindled my love for writing as well as reading! If y'all are looking for a series to read, I recommend that y'all check it out!
