Now that introductions are out of the way, here's some more info on me and this account specifically! This a daily doodle account for Royal Margarine Cookie from Cookie Run Kingdom! I am very normal about him. That's pretty much all I post about here, though other cookie related things do pop in every once in awhile!

This account was meant to be daily, but I am still finishing up highschool, and it's been very stressfull, so sadly I don't have the time to actually make that work. The plan is still to post a doodle daily! But maybe I'll only be able to do that once I finish up with school, sadly.

I have two main hashtags in here!

#my art and my stuffff, for any art or similar things I end up making and posting! If you're expecting a daily doodle and haven't seen it, or just wanna browse, you might wanna check the hashtag :)

Day 1: when did you discover ofmd?

probably same as most ppl on here, ofmd was suddenly all over my dashboard at some point around mid to late march 2022. one post i saw was a link to a google drive with the episodes and i ended up watching the entire series like, the next day.

Day 2: first impression of ofmd

ok tbh my first impression based on the very first gifsets i was seeing was "this show looks kinda stupid idk if i can take these costumes seriously." then during the first few minutes of s1 i was like "oh yeah this is definitely a taika project, this feels so much like wwdits." both of these impressions no longer hold true lol the costumes are SO fun and past the bit in the pilot of stede narrating to lucius the wwdits vibes are no longer present.

i tend to enjoy lighthearted comedy tv and also shows with shorter episodes. this is why most of the media i've consumed for years is just cartoons hjfkhkghfskj BUT outside of those basic preferences the HEART the characters the writing the comedy the romance the soundtrack the set design the props the storylines the cast the crew. there's almost no part of this show that im not in love with.

14- where do you get your inspiration?

ehhhhhh depends. all sorts of places. nowadays like 90% of what i write is canon compliant or canon divergent so usually it’s just like “wouldn’t it be cool if this happened” type of thing, usually when chatting abt headcanon stuff w/ @kikithefox231

when i was younger i wrote more au stuff which was really just me watching a movie or whatever and being like “hm yes this…. but with my blorbos. mmmm.” i also sometimes get ideas based off of songs too. depends!

24- how do you recharge when you’re not feeling creative?

ugh. this is something that i actually really struggle with. between my adhd and my classes i rarely ever have the motivation to actually write (average stem major L). but the good news is between all my other hobbies and my schoolwork i never really feel like i’m out of things to occupy my time with if im not feeling like writing. i also find that switching from one project to another can help? but otherwise idk man.

27- your favorite part of the writing process

planning for me is really fun. and a lot less hard than actually writing the thing. i love daydreaming about my stories <3

i also enjoy editing/beta-ing for other people quite a bit. i think the reason why i function so well as a fanfic writer but flounder when it comes to original stuff is because i really do have more of an editor brain. i like working with pre-existing concepts! though editing for myself is awful lmao

i already answered this, but what a shame! it is my college au and this first "book" is gonna be about the vashmeryl relationship coming to fruition, and the sequel will be them working through some loooong time trauma and issues, but together !

honestly from other media i watch. i'm currently planning out a trigun dancer au and i was motivated because of Strictly Ballroom, a silly Baz Lurhman movie (please watch it the romance is so cute and it takes itself so seriously)

17. talk about your writing and editing process

so... ideally i do what i did for in the meadow where I wrote and wrote and wrote,,, and then just constantly went over chapters with edits and rewrites until it was time to post.

with itm i was always at least 3 chapters ahead and had the time to go back and check through chapters, make sure everything flowed well, ensure continuity... but with my newer works it hasn't been like that.

I have good grammar and spelling in general and i also use The Internet to write on so it gets spell checked, but i don't take nearly as much time to edit my work as i'd like to anymore

25. besides writing, what are your other hobbies?

alright!

so i love doing embroidery. im currently working on a cross stitch project that has been very relaxing

i love to sing. i cannot express to yall how much i love singing. it is seriously my favorite thing to do. i love music and expressing my feelings through song. i lovvvvvvvvvvve to sing (im pretty good too hehe)

i sew and draw (SOMETIMES) and i cook. i do a lot of things! i love to explore just various arts and crafts

i just love creating. i love putting ideas on the page and getting the content that i want... because i love the writing of others (and i do apologize) but there is always something that isn't for me

but thats because it wasn't written for me!! it was written for the author

and thats why i write,,,, because i want something specific

and i love romance and it gives me the power to make my blorbos kiss >:)

IMPORTANT LACE ADVICE: it doesn't matter what idea you get down, just get something down. once you have something down, you can change it or decide if you even still want it. the hurdle is getting the idea down!

it's so funn!!!! i love fic planning sm AND this was a free excuse to write my favs being like me (i gave clown chronic pain & crutches in this fic <3) so i'm super excited to write it. he experiences the horrors but the fic is about Getting Better and learning to love yourself and appreciate your friends and maybe it's about remembering you can reach out to people and call them and maybe, just maybe, they'll be there when you need them most. it's about letting go of the past and getting rid of something that's broken because you need to start over again. but maybe its about having clown go to an aquarium. maybe.
