Shoutout to an absolutely amazing save file for modern roleplay: SweetieWright's save file! It has:

cozy af looking rebuilt lots

homes have Simple Living by default

instead of EA townies you get a huge amount of new families with skills and careers in the populated version

I am tremendously enjoying this fresh start after adding some difficulty mods and whatnot.

Some nitpicking:

Vacation homes don't have Simple Living, unlike the normal houses, so I assigned it for myself. I also had to set more lots to be vacation homes, including nuking one house in the Granite Falls so sims could go camping and sleep under the stars.

And laundry&vacuums don't seem to be present, unfortunately.

Since I don't have all the packs, I do get an occasional nudist or absent doors in a building, but not that often, thankfully.
