#i love thinking about stuff like this for my videogame s/is

I’m just gonna ramble into the void here about my Overwatch Self insert but soley in actual gameplay terms and stuff like- no plot is in this ramble its just how i would work mechanically in game if I were in game because I’m a fuckin dingus about that kinda shit.

Still here? Okay so-

First of all, I’m a tank hero, my health is right around that of doomfist and junker queen in the area of about 400 with some shield health as granted by my fox spirit, Shugo.

Main weapon is either a claymore or dual wielding katanas, though i also think having kunai knives as my main skill and then having a katana or claymore as like a big slash skill similar to junker queen since we are currently in the poke meta it seems with heroes like rammatra and junker queen being introduced. So i’d need some long range and close range capability, and while yes story-wise I can use a bow, I think also story-wise since i trained mostly with the blade i would use a blade in combat rather than a bow (plus it just looks super cool)

As for skills, i can create a shield that can be placed similar to sigma’s (and ow1 orisa) that is a permenant shield and can be recalled. It looks like giant shrine gates to tie me into kiriko since me and kiriko are twins. I can also do a self heal similar to roadhog, but it doesnt do as much as hog’s and its similar to kiriko’s where the animation is i put talismans on my arm, its mainly just for survivability.

As for passive things, like every dhimada, i can wallclimb, but thats about it.

I’ve tried thinking about alot of things for my ult and compared them to current tank ults in game and i think i’ve settled on having a giant square of shrine gates appear and anything within them gets mauled by my fox spirit in an animation similar to hanzo’s scatter arrow, and it’s basically a giant aoe scatter arrow confined to the square that my ult puts up. Square is about the size of lucio’s aoe heal/speed if you were to measure it with something.

“Give me a sec!” You shouted back, putting on your earrings, and stepping outside.

You looked at Hobie who sighed and shook his head.

“Alright.. well… up to the roof we go!” He said, grabbing mayday and you looked at him in confusion.

“While we can’t have a date at the restaurant, it’s a nice night, we can reschedule. We’ll just have a date.. with mayday I guess.” He said.

You smiled at him “Alright. Cool with me.” The three of you going upstairs and onto the roof.

He put mayday down, as she crawled around the roof. You both sat down, looking at the stars.

Mayday came over to you both and sat down next to you both.

“There’s Sirius. And that’s Cassiopeia.” You pointed to them, showing mayday the stars and constellations.

Hobie smiled at you, and a thought appeared in his head.

It wouldn’t be so bad to have children of your own in the future.

A little after, Mayday fell asleep. You both got up and put her on the couch.

You and Hobie both sat at the dinner table now.

“Sorry I made you get ready for nothin’. You still look stunning though.”

“Ehh.. I don’t know..” you mumbled, messing with the end of your dress.

He looked at you. He knew you were insecure, he knew by the longing stares in the mirror, and when you looked at other people who you thought were pretty.

“Look at me.” He said.

You looked at him.

“Beauty standards are bullshit. We don’t listen to them, yeah? It’s stupid, and you’re so beautiful. Even if you can’t see it, you’re gorgeous. And I will murder anyone else who even thinks otherwise.”

You started to tear up at his speech, and laughing at the end. He wiped away your tears with a smile.

“I love you, alright?”

“I love you.” You kissed him.

“Aww. So cute.” Peters voice made you both jump, he was staring at you both with a smile.

“Peter!”

“How long have you been there?”

“Very long. Alright, I will grab mayday and see you two lovebirds later.” He said, grabbing the bag, then mayday and leaving:

You both laughed and smiled at the end of the day. He was right, there was no reason to think about something so small and silly when you have a great life ahead of you.

You definitely give him a lot of shit. When you first arrive he's all cocky thinking he has a new victim, but then as soon as you opened your mouth, boom, he got dragged. Since he's quite the troublemaker, you'll probably be screaming at him a lot.

"Slender, the new recruit is speaking tongues again!"

Secretly thinks it's kinda hot when you speak Spanish. The rolling r's just do something to him. While he's absolutely not gonna try to learn it, he ends up picking up a thing or two just from hearing you and the context of the situation. Can't speak it to save his life, though. Still, he makes fun of your language all the time.

"What, you forgot English already?"

Also, he's like, terrible with self care. Not as bad as Ben, but still pretty bad. Doesn't shower for days and hates drinking water. You'll have to threaten him with a chancla to get him to actually take some care of himself.

Will actually be really happy if you make him Hispanic food. Not only does it taste good, but you made it for him because you care about him, and that means the world. He can't handle spicy stuff though, so be careful.

Not too bad in general when it comes to taking care of himself, but he does just... Forget to eat. All the time. He will just suddenly get light headed and remember he hasn't eaten a bite of food in the last 3-4 days. Another one who loves if you make him Hispanic food, but unlike Ben, he likes his shit extra spicy. Probably one of the only creeps who will try to learn Spanish to understand you better, even if you're fluent in English.

"H-hola, Y/N. Como- como estás?"

"Estoy bien, pero no necessitas hablar conmigo en español, chulo."

Yes, you call him "chulo". He will also listen to the music and just try to learn more of the culture in general to make you feel more welcome. Overall, genuinely puts in an effort in taking better care of himself so you don't have to worry about him as much.

I'd be surprised if he didn't know Spanish already, which was probably a bit of a shock to you, but a good one nonetheless. He's not normally into gossip, but there's something extremely funny about talking shit about someone while they're right there and they have no idea what you're saying.

You won't have to worry about him much, he takes basic care of himself unlike most of the others. If anything, he's scolding rhe others WITH you. You're basically the parents of everyone else at this point.

That´s what you thought to yourself,you had just gotten out of the shower and you were going to put whatever shirt you found with some grey sweatpants,it was sunday,you had no plans for today besides staying at home with your boyfriend playing some videogames or watching a movie,it was one of those rainy lazy sundays where you didn´t felt like hanging out with your friends or even talking to them.

When you opened your closet you found everything,except for your shirts.Skirts,jeans,tops,sweaters,shorts,and even your favorite winter jacket,but no shirt in sight,and it´s not like you lacked shirts, you had A LOT of them,but of course,they were nowhere to be seen.

"Lemme recall some stuff...okay Yoosung called me yesterday saying that he needed help with laundry because he had too much,if I remember well,I took my shirts with him because they smelled weird,and we did laundry at his house,and- fuck,I forgot all my shirts at Yoosung´s house..."

Tiny Update - WWL/TDDU + PINS

First off - thank you SO very much to all of you leaving lovely comments in the tags on the last (and any other) part(s) of Til Death Do Us / Wolfwood Lives AU.

How's the comic doing?

I decided to favor myself enjoying the work on it instead of spitting it all out asap and having it finished for May. No more zine ready in May for Animefest happening, unfortunately. It's too much pressure and I just. I wouldn't like it. The comic would suffer - both in terms of writing and art. Not to mention I don't ever want to pressure one of my best buds and my personal editor @Squeemu.

This way I can still think of the script a bit more, add new little ideas, enjoy preparing the layout and draw each of the faces in my own time. And maybe splash some colours into some other parts as well again. 👀 I MISS COLOURING STUFF SO MUCH.

The slower pace will also let me rest from time to time, maybe play a videogame and maybe not go crazy when 7R2 is out and I'll be biting table about it, bc I SHOULD BE DRAWING THE COMIC, bc I only have xy days til the end of April. (Trust me, it did happen, I went to bed counting pages, matching them to days in my head over and over and over.... and then broke down.)

So. That said - we are progressing quite nicely now! Even with the crazy amount of storyboarding work I had in Jan/Feb. I am having fun, I LOVE drawing the part I'm working on rn.

What about the PINS?!

Good question! The data's in the manu atm. However, as China's still celebrating Lunar New Year, the factories are closed. But - the break should end on 20th. So we should get some news soon. :)

Similar to that previous ask you answered... What are some more of your headcanons for Hoagie? Yours are very unique and I'm very invested in them

OKAY LET'S SEE.... Yes and also all of my Headcanons are also @sector-v / @eltube 's Headcanons. We share a brain. We mind-meld.

I'm gonna start with their family stuff since that's what I did for Abby!

The most important thing is that hoagie is Jewish, on their mom's side. I have this headcanon that Lydia is a Holocaust survivor but as time passes I wonder if it makes more sense for it to be Lydia's parents who were survivors. Either way, there's a direct line there. hoagie is German on both sides of the family.

That being said, hoagie isn't very devout. They go through the motions of attending services, participating in high holidays (but don't ask if they've ever successfully fasted for Yom Kippur), and they had their Bar Mitzvah- but I don't think they care that much about it really. It's just habit.

The big question we all love to talk about is whether their dad died or their parents are just divorced. My answer is both. Their parents divorced because Betty is a lesbian, but she's still pretty much in the closet even now. Their dad died a few years after that. Both parents are from the Midwest, hence the accents.

On their mom's side, the only family they have is their immediate family. Meanwhile, their dad had a very large family, but there's a lot of tension between hoagies immediately family and the dad's family, cuz they don't like Betty very much. They're very judgemental and the cousins bully hoagie so hoagie resents them a lot.

My idea is that every other Christmas they go and spend it with the dad's family. Hoagie hates this. Ive had a comic idea for YEARS about it, but I've never gotten around to making it

Hoagie is a classic nerd while in middle school, but starts to realize she doesn't actually like those kids very much. She ends up spending more time with other trans women nerds, like Angeline, who plays videogames with hoagie once a week.

No surprise to anyone, she gets into a really good university right out of high school and studies aerospace engineering and applied physics. They ultimately get a PhD in physics. While they love aerospace engineering, pretty much any career path involving it is tied into the arms industry one way or another, so they don't pursue it in any official capacity. I mostly picture them becoming a University professor who also does laboratory research.

I alluded to this when I talked about Abby, but Hoagie and Abby grow very close during grad school, which is when they start dating. They get married and have two kids. Their daughter Naomi takes after Hoagie a lot and has a knack for engineering

Hoagie always remains very close to her mom and brother

usually i have too hard of a time trying to remember anything i like to have answers for questions like these but thankfully for this one i have answers prepared since this is something i try to think about a lot

realistically if i had to pick one single "favorite videogame" above the rest itd probably just, like, ocarina of time & majora's mask (i'm considering them to be one videogame because i said so, it;s a package deal), just on account of how much of an impact they had on me from an early age combined with just how often i Still go back to revisit them in one way or another, but this is just about the most basic boring answer a person can have for this question unfortunately

thankfully you asked for some of my favorites instead of just one so i can unveil my Actual list of favorites instead of the one that only holds the top spot by technicality and not because i actually like it "the most". all of my favorite games have such a range in style and quality it's hard to really compare them in any meaningful way

anyway

crypt worlds, space funeral, and off-peak are all pretty different games made by very different people but i usually group them together when talking about stuff like this since collectively finding them all back in the day at roughly the same time kind of shaped my perception of indie games as a whole which probably gave me a very weird and skewed perception of the media but who gives a shit really it's a perception i hold dear. (they weren't the first indie games i ever saw of course but they were the most personally impactful ones that made me go "holy shit, this is awesome, you can do literally whatever you want")

they've pretty heavily influenced my own games, too. there have been multiple times i've started a project and then days later realized "wait shit this is just space funeral again. i'm just making space funeral again but slightly to the left. fuuuck" which is a pretty good problem to have i think.

anyway,

gadget: invention, travel, and adventure is an old point and click game i found a few years ago that struck me by just how unique feeling its atmosphere is. strange looking people turn to you and say even stranger sounding things, the soundtrack feels like its having a nervous breakdown, the main character is given so few meaningful decisions/actions (read: basically none) by the people around them that it can barely be considered a game at all…it is a very fascinating experience, and one that i think back to a lot

i like Your Turn To Die a lot and am very excited to see how it ends, though i feel like i don't have too much to say on it here. one of those games that has me going "oh man i should draw more fanart for that one of these days" every time i'm reminded of it only to then remember that i Can't Fucking Draw right now lmao

myhouse.wad is something that extremely deserves to go on this list but a large part of my brain is telling me not to just because somewhere along the line i fucked up and became allergic to anything that has ever recently become popular & trendy on youtube because i don't want to look like a poser even though literally no one but me cares about where i hear about these things so i can only bring myself to include it if i also state that i played it BEFORE it was cool &all the streamers started covering it like some kind of shameful hipster. but for real though its awesome, very inspiring stuff. i wish my brain did not force me to want to distance myself from it for literally no good reason. fucking ocarina of time is on this list why is this the thing that makes you afraid of looking like a normie

i have a lot of appreciation for myst in a kind of "i've never played more than 5 minutes of this nor have i even bothered to watch a playthrough of it but i understand what you have done for me and the games i love that came after you" kind of way. i have purchased 3 different copies of it over the years as well as a copy of riven and i don't intend on playing any of them anytime soon. great game, probably. i wouldn't know.

i like a lot of kitty horrorshow's games but i don't really know what my favorite would be. lethargy hill is probably the one i think about most often though.

i like (the steam version of) dwarf fortress a lot and have been trying to play it more often. it is very funny having 80 hours in a game and still not feeling like you understand half the mechanics in it. figuring it out as i go along has been fun though. in a similar vein i also like elden ring a lot and despite being at over 160 hours on that one i still haven't beaten it. i need to get back to it before the dlc comes out but i stopped playing for so long that most of my muscle memory is gone…

for something much more recent than all of the above, absolutely perfect specimen is something really incredible that gave me a lot of stuff to think about, though it can be a little hard to recommend since it's extremely 18+ and has a whole big list of content warnings you definitely need to take heed of. extremely interesting work though, i like it a lot.

video games are more of a nostalgic thing for her, like for her they're childhood memories of playing mario on kel's wii and getting super competitive with him

she likes to watch you play!! like if you're stuck in a certain part of a game she'll brainstorm and try to help you out. she's also very impressed that your brain can comprehend it all, for her it all just melts together

honestly i think she'd kinda suck at a lot of games but give her a controller on a FPS shooter and she's like. laughing maniacally and going on a killing spree

lots of playing mario kart!!! the only other big game lover in the group is sunny so you three end up playing games on kel's wii together. kel prefers to play it himself but if you wanna take a turn he's all for watching you play!

he cheers you on and tells you to absolutely demolish the enemy team. like he's hovering over you and shouting like "HE's RIGHT THERE HE'S RIGHT THERE"

hero ends up telling u all to get outside and play when u end up sitting on the couch for hours. you groan but reluctantly comply

he appreciates it if you coach him in a game,, he's really great at fighting games like mortal kombat but he kinda sucks ass at FPS shooters. RPGs he just doesn't find entertaining and usually gets distracted

i can see him liking GTA but never being allowed to play it, so if you have it he'd play it at your house (u two giggle together when he enters the strip club) (and hero yells at you both for it)

HERO

hero never really played many games, only as a small child on his gameboy. sometimes he'd watch kel play games but other than that he isn't experienced

honestly. he goes into a game saying he doesn't know how to play and is gonna get his shit rocked and he sucks sooo bad and then he is GODLY at the game.

like he picks up the controller and his thumbs just start moving even if he has no idea what's going on. it kinda pisses u off LMFAO

he's great at gaming but doesn't find much interest in it, he'd love to watch you play though!! he thinks it's so cool how you understand everything that's going on on the screen

she doesn't game often (at all) but when she does she's AMAZING AT IT. like you introduce her to a game expecting to absolutely roll her and so ur about to go easy on her and you get DESTROYED

and she'll get all smug and act innocent about it too. like "oh haha i haven't played this in so long i'm surprised i'm still good at it!😊😊" all while literally wiping the floor with you

she claps for you and tells you she's proud of you if you beat a certain level or level up or something. she'll like make you a special treat too even if it's something small (she's very proud!!)

always insisting that you and sunny 1v1 or play together. she thinks it'd be so cute to have you to share something you both love!!!!

she never rages or anything, but i can see her getting really dirty sometimes with trash-talk. like if someones being mean to you in vc or match chat she's angrily typing the worst things imaginable and telling you not to look

BASIL

like aubrey, games are more nostalgic childhood things for him. like he remembers always watching sunny play on his gameboy and cheering on sunny and kel when they played games on saturdays

he's okay at gaming, like he's not bad but he's not good. he's okay at FPS games and shooters but he prefers RPGs and cute games like minecraft and stardew valley. indie games and games like OMORI r stuff i think he'd like too

loves to watch you play, and if you ask him if he wants to try he might hesitate but agrees and starts SHREDDING. idk i feel like he'd he really good at cod zombies even if he thinks he sucks. like he literally is so good at it it's annoying

I think there's something really amazing about Death Stranding in its endgame content, because once you finish the main story, you get presented with one last self imposed goal, one that you've seen only a handful of people achieve in the online structures around you, which is getting 500 perfect deliveries

Every single delivery done perfectly, on time, cargo pristine and undamaged. It was kind of annoying, as there are some pretty crazy ones like having to drive a truck up a 50 degree incline because otherwise the cargo in it will melt just a fraction of a degree and you'll have to restart, but aside from those, most of them are really chill, and you unintentionally begin to minmax with the zipline (best PCC config dont bother arguing). At the end of your journey, it'll get frustrating, as there is no tracker in the game for the orders you haven't s ranked, but that's kind of the beauty, there's absolutely no encouragement or perceivable reward for doing every delivery perfectly, just the sense of completion. I actually created a document to tick them off, like a clipboard for a list of completed manifests IRL.

And then, it's the last one. Ironically, the last one for me was order 420, so funny weed number guys. There was no fanfare, just the quiet hum of my Reverse Trike as I sped down the highway I'd driven down maybe a hundred times towards the Lake Knot Depot (I don't remember the exact destination just know the last order was 420 and it involved going to or from Lake Knot city).

Finally, delivering the package, 499 reached 500, and I entered a club of silent members. Now, my name will be among that everyone can see, but only I can really witness. A group of apexes, equals, not rivals. Completionists who've done their duty, and have earned nothing but the right to rest.

I think the idea of rewards waiting around every corner with videogames is boring. Trophy hunting is sickening after a while. Platinum trophies aren't interesting after a while, because I know that status is meaningless and yet competitive. There will always be another game, another platinum to grind for, another meaningless number to go up. There is no peak, as it's ever growing, no completion in supposed completionism. It's consumerism masked as completionism, because that's what they want. They want to take and take and take because you want to feel finished and complete, an apex at your game, but they intentionally remove that, because if you stop, if you want a rest from the giving and the grinding, they say, here's another goal. You're not complete.

That's why Death Stranding is looked down on. Its rewards are meaningless, you're given likes for almost everything, intangible, infinitely growing numbers, but you don't play Death Stranding to like every structure an unlimited amount of times. If you want to complete it, it gives you a hard number to achieve. 500 perfect orders. It can take 20 minutes to do a single one. But it tells you upfront; "There's an end to this." So you do it. You grind. Walking and driving and walking and driving the same routes.

But like anyone, you look for distraction. It gives you plenty of that through your cuff links. Mail from every person in the game. Little chips of data, bits and pieces of Kojimas personality inserted into the game itself, his interests and thoughts for choices throughout. The mail has tons of cool stuff in it, but you have to pick it from the dry gristle of an email. Bits of lore, world building, tips for progression you missed because it was so dull to read when playing the story. Now the excitement of the story is gone, and all you have left of the story is its structure.

Then there's one mail that caught my eye. I forget which NPC it's from, but it talks about work, about the fact that we need it to cope and survive. There are so many ideas about work, I'm sure most of us have heard the phrase "if you find what you love, you'll never work a day in your life.", but it's difficult to believe in our world of dead end jobs that pay less and less and ask more and more. It's impossible to love work, but what are we doing in Death Stranding? We're working, of course. And we like it, well, kind of. We know that we're going somewhere. You have the knowledge that there's an end to this madness, and that contrast against normal life is somewhat interesting. Labor today isn't fulfilling, but Sam's intentionally, directly, tangibly makes everyone's lives better. The game also has many themes of connection, but I think it's lower in intention compared to the idea of work and play. You're playing the game, but Sam is working. Does that mean you're working? Then back to that mail. Is what he's doing necessary for him? The game sort of inverts our modern reality of work and play, everyone has unlimited time for leisure, but no time to work. The opposite is true for many people today. It's an inverse commentary of work today, and that's what frustrates some people about the game, why people call it a walking simulator. It's because it is, and that walking, that journey, is necessary. The fact that you aren't rewarded, or rewarded with a sense of completionism and useless likes, is the point. There is meaning.

So it's nice to sit on my mental or digital throne. Games need to stop having this rat race of chasing rewards and satisfaction, because there will be nothing meaningfully gained.

I liked doing it. Those 500 orders. That frustration, the ticking boxes, the lack of resources to streamline the process. It felt rewarding to do it all by myself, to watch that number climb one per day 489, 490, 491. It was fun. Thanks Death Stranding. You're confusing, beautiful and you gave me a sense of completion like no other game.

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles Part 1: Can't have anything on Angel Island!

I’ve had my ups and downs with Sonic as a series, in fact I’ll be brutally honest: for as important as this series was to my formative years I’ve had more downs than ups, to the point that I’ve even found myself disliking games I used to love over time. There has been very little that I’ve enjoyed from this franchise during the past 10 years, to the point that I struggle to define myself as a Sonic fan anymore

However!

If there’s one thing I can still put quite a lot of faith into, even after all these years, is Sonic 3′s quality

Sonic 3 is not just the best Sonic game ever, it is, in my eyes, one of the best videogames ever created, and this isn’t something that I’m saying just because I grew up with this game, as you’ll see in the future I’m no stranger to being extremely critical against games I grew up with that I used to enjoy (or even viceversa). The fact that this game is not usually included in top ten best games lists alongside other famous gems like Super Metroid, Ocarina of Time, Resident Evil 4 and the like is, I think, one of the greatest injustices ever done to this series, though I do have an idea as to why that is, but more on that at a later time

The level design in this game is so gargantuan yet intricate and thought out, which is actually something that I have to remind myself of, given that I’m so used to it now. Not only are these way bigger than levels from the previous games but I’m pretty sure that Sonic 3 features the largest levels of any platformer of its generation. Of course I might be wrong but I haven’t played any other game of that era with levels this huge, not Super Mario World, not Shinobi, not Mega Man and not Castlevania. When I was younger I actually used to see this as a flaw because, on average, these levels generally took me around 5-6 minutes to complete, which is longer than the average Sonic level length, but with hindsight these levels have so many secret shortcuts and pathways that you can cut down that time pretty substantially once you know what you’re doing. It certainly helps that these secret paths are not too hard to find for anyone who is at least halfway familiar with how level design in platformers works, it’s the usual stuff: some walls look a bit different than others or maybe you can see a trail of rings go through one. Many of these levels are actually quite fun to explore and the game knows how to reward that curiosity as you’ll see in the future. All of this basically makes Sonic 3 a much better exploration game than Sonic CD, which is pretty humiliating given that Sonic 3 isn’t even trying to make exploration its main focus

Despite this I actually think that Angel Island is the weakest of the classic starting levels. It’s a good level don’t get me wrong, but it’s smaller and overall more linear than Green Hill, Emerald Hill and Palmtree Panic. Though because of its more contained nature it does perhaps make for a better tutorial level for any beginner. I especially like how Act 2 starts with you always (well almost always, sometimes you stop rolling because of collision detection issues, more on those at a later time...) crashing through a wall leading to a Giant Ring, as a way to subtly communicate to the player about their existence and how to usually find them 

Hydro city is peak Sonic water level: the lesson introduced in Aquatic Ruin about trying to stick to the upper routes to avoid going into the water is mostly kept (though unless you can use Tails to fly Sonic up at the start you won’t be able to access the upper route right away with him and you’ll have to go underwater for a while, but not too long), the submerged temple-city aesthetic is pretty unique and act 2 is just a flat out fun old time like Chemical Plant Act 2

Marble Garden is, unfortunately, my least favorite level in the game. Partly because of its pretty drab looks but mostly due to its obstacle placement. I actually think that Sonic 3 can get worse than Sonic 2 at times with its tendency to have you crash headfirst against obstacles at mach speed. Some levels are fine with this, but others go overboard, Launch Base and Lava Reef are the other 2 major examples but I think that Marble Garden is worse because it’s just the third level and, unlike the other 2 examples, you can’t use the Fire Shield to somewhat mitigate the issue. Sure you can abuse Super forms but that’s not a proper solution you know?

The spinning tops are also pretty damn awkward to handle and, as a kid, I had no idea you could make them automatically reach their top speeds by just having them touch the ground, it’s not exactly communicated to you clearly.

Charlie and I enjoy doing anything that lets us be alone together! Little coffee dates in quiet places around town; sitting on the balcony and watching the sunset while chatting; spending the night cuddling and playing videogames like we're at a sleepover, it's all just quiet moments where our souls feel completed!

Alma and I like exploring the campus building, there's so much stuff hidden in there, especially at the library!! We also enjoy bonding over gossip about our fellow students and professors, not in a malicious way, just filling each other in what we could've missed

Mychael and I love spending time around our little hens! He's taught me a lot about farming and we're even thinking of growing some blueberries, since they're my favorite fruit! Other than that we also like taking walks around the forest, there's so many beautiful spots hidden away and he knows where all of them are!

BEST EXPERIENCE: To be perfectly honest shit-posting/memes are always a welcome relief and the best way to destress. I recall previously that myself and group of fellow hooligans would constantly make photoshop edits of stupid things that would go around on the dash. But I also really enjoyed being able to deep dive into characters relations and how they worked against or with each other. Especially when it came to characters who didn't have their entire story brought to the forefront, like most videogame characters. You don't get to see the behind the scenes stuff with them, most the time, so it's fun to see how they could have gone about or reacted to different situations/after the fact/how it affected them.

RP PET PEEVES / DEALBREAKERS: Lack of communication. Sometimes I forget things, so I'll typically come ask for an answer or reconfirming that I didn't miss something or misinterpret anything. If there is an issue, I am begging, please just approach me. I often will do this if I have a problem, all I ask is the same in return. I can't stand constantly being left on read, especially when trying to discuss stuff plot related. We can't be on the same page if we don't have conversations going BOTH WAYS.

Other than that I'm pretty relaxed. I, as a slow writer, won't hound people practically ever for responses. We're adults, life happens, things come up, muses hide or aren't as strong as others. As long as you aren't actively ignoring me/our threads, there's no problem. If I don't see you posting at all then I know you just need a breather and that is A-OKAY. This is a hobby for fun. Why be fussy and cause problems due to impatience? I guess that is another pet peeve- impatience- lmao.

MUSE PREFERENCES: Bottoms. I notice myself writing of lot of "tsundere" types? Or redheads. I just love them. Misunderstood but fight against the world because they don't want anyone to know that they're broken.

PLOTS OR MEMES: Both. Both is good. Everything in balance. I used to meme a lot, and I've definitely toned it down. But I don't know, sometimes getting too serious or having too many think-hard-about threads can be tiring, and lil shitposting is a good breather to be able to let you get back on with it.

LONG OR SHORT REPLIES: Both are nice. I tend to overwrite, simply because my style will typically go into my muse's thought process(es), or if the thread is still being established, I try to set the scene or give background information. But, short replies are nice. Gives you a small thing to work on and take a rest between lengthier threads. That's also why I like random inbox prompts. Not all of them have to go anywhere- just gives you a space to do something else aside from your drafts.

BEST TIME TO WRITE: I am absolutely not a morning person. Night owl to the max. You will see me up still at 3am more often than not. I typically wake up around 10am-1pm, so I'm usually writing right around dinner.

ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE(S): In some aspects, sure. Not entirely like one-for-one with any muse, but there's always at least a piece of myself in each muses. Helps write them better, in my opinion. Only exceptions typically being any "self-insert" like characters. (ie. Robin/Avatar from Fire Emblem: Awakening). Most of those characters still have a base personality to them though, so unless you completely customize them, they're still pretty "how do YOU respond" choices change how they are.

Okay so, this has been on my mind a lot.

Recently I had this friend, I trusted him a lot to the point we would hug or kiss platonically, usually that's very nice like "awww u have a best friend now" but no.

Somewhere during vacations I went to his house to hang out, play videogames stuff like that, but after a while he said " wanna see a video of two people being decapitated? " I said yes because I didn't think he was being serious and it wasn't until he said " It has gore, is that okay?".

That might've seen like a nice gesture protecting his friends from possibly being traumatized from it, but later that same month I was being my normal self, talking about Burt and all that shit and I said " I would do anything for Burt, except watch gore" I was expecting just a silly response since it was a joke, but I was met with the same exact video and the caption " If you really loved him you'd watch gore."

I was obviously freaked out because if you know me, I'm EXTREMELY sensitive to even mentions of blood let alone real life gore, I was asking in the nicest way " hey, can you stop? it makes me uncomfortable." but guess what, he didn't!!!!!! he kept sending the video to me to the point where i was literally shaking and even crying. All because " it was cute how I go so scared"

This led up to not being able to watch videos people sent to me out of fear, and ANY chainsaw noises or screams would trigger me.

He would also grab and squeeze my thighs, which at that time I consented to so I didn't mind, because it was a JOKE like "haha squishy thighs :3" until he actually started sexualizing it, and I got uncomfortable. I tried telling him this but he just started begging for me to let him so I did. He would squeeze my stomach, same thing happened.

At some point, he got fed up I didn't wanna give him the pleasure he wanting because I was uncomfortable with it and looked for more people go help him.

He started using my emotions as a way to take advantage of me claiming "If u weren't my friend I'd kms" and saying that every fucking day no matter what the circumstances. We were just in English class like normal ? he'd say he wants to die. Taking it as far as sending pictures of blood from his sh or claiming he had a rope ready.

Hell he triggered my trauma response a LOT of times because seeing him with someone else immediately made me think he was gonna replace me, because he would if he could. But when I called him out on his bullshit he went " I've always comforted you, I always cared for you"

I admit, I also had fault in this, because I was also struggling with suicidal thoughts I'd say "I wanna die too !!!!" but I fucked up on that part and also saying I'd replace him, when he was also scared of that. but I APOLOGIZED for all of that, he made fun of me because I got triggered by gore with his friends, he would show me full on hentai just because it was "hot " and obviously didn't give a fuck about me and my interests.

It was all planned. He confirmed it to me.

This affected me so fucking much, he stopped talking to me during October when they changed me to another classroom. Just like that I lived through my past traumatic experience yet again, I was left with tons of suicidal thoughts and was generally in the worst mindset, I couldn't even talk to my friends about it because the only one I trusted was his new comfort person and I still feel guilty because a lot of it was my fault. I can't fucking look at my thighs the same way.

And all because he wanted the comfort he never fucking got.
