Her lithe form easily slides between him and his desk, it’s also all too easy to slip into his lap as a result. Her sapphire eyes look to the work on his desk, scanning over thoroughly before she even says anything. With a soft hum, the mouse doe leans back and rests herself against his large chest. “Your mind never stops, does it, darling?” Kitty muses, peering up to the rat with a humored smile. She squirms, wiggling against him to get all the more comfortable. “This plan looks fool proof. Why are you still pouring over it?” (Kitty says it’s time to love on him. right now.)

At first he hardly noticed her entrance, but now he certainly did. She slid up so easily between him and his work and his hands rise from the desk slightly in surprise as she squirmed her way in front of it, leaning against his body where he sat.

He couldn't be annoyed or angry at her, she had that sort of charm he couldn't resist and her attention towards him was always welcomed. But his work always called to him.

"Fool proof, yes," he hummed deeply, reaching over with a gloved hand and pulling paper closer for him to see. "But detective proof? I like to make sure all chances of evidence or a trail are covered after all, my dear~"

His other hand unconsciously rested upon her hip.

i think one of the things with the sibs that makes me go the most feral is just how little time they spent together.

when season one starts, they’ve been together for sixteen days. we then witness them spend about a week together.

in season two, they have a day.

in season three, it's an hour at most.

that is, generously rounded, a month. this series spans two years. they got to 'hopelessly and helplessly entangled' in a month out of two years. a MONTH out of TWO YEARS was all it took for them to change each other, probably forever, if they lived that long.

one of the theses of The Silt Verses is that platonic love can be just as devastating and life-altering as romance love and by god if these two don't embody that.

i’m obsessed with the idea of cult leader!geto pining for a reader who just fucking hates him ….... maybe it’s someone from his past that he left behind when he defected, maybe they’re bitter and spiteful and all they do is hiss and bite but he’s so smitten. you can do no wrong in his eyes. he deserves the curses and anger, he knows, and he receives them with a smile and eyes full of hearts. he gets giddy when you scowl at him. he just thinks you’re love personified. he’s so gentle and patient that it’s infuriating because nothing you do or say will get him to bite back — it’s like you’re a kitten gnawing at his fist but he does nothing but coo at you even when you draw blood

i'll genuinely never stop thinking about codependency in rhack and how it's mostly coming from jack's side. both jack and rhys treat their relationship like rhys is the one who needs jack to not just survive but also thrive, but it's really the opposite and i think that REALLY adds to how much jack twists the narrative to make it seem like rhys can't do anything without him just to keep giving rhys a reason to keep him around and trust him
