I saw a post that said Bill’s and Twelve’s relationship is special because they took the time to become friends before travelling companions and I agree wholeheartedly. I feel that many of the other companions see the Doctor as a hero that comes swaggering into their town to save the day and they assume the Doctor is a picture book hero. Later the companions realise the Doctor may be a hero, but he isn’t always a good person. He doesn’t always make the best decisions. Bill meets the Doctor as an absentminded professor who is always questioning morals and the universe. She sees not a hero but a man first and then the hero. I think that’s why she’s so quick to call out his bull about moving on. It brings to mind the exchange between Twelve and Clara.

Clara: Admit it, I was a good Doctor.

Twelve: You were an excellent Doctor. Good had nothing to do with it.

I personally think that Bill’s and Twelve’s relationship is one of the most vulnerable the Doctor has ever had with a companion. The Doctor is aware that Bill knows his flaws before she got into the travelling and knows that for Bill the hero pedestal is on the ground.

Honestly, as funny as it is to hear Ezra say “fuck” I think we’re over looking all the epic swears he could pick up from the rest of the crew (mainly Hera)

I'm so obsessed with Jean's feelings towards Neil. They're absolutely not romantic or sexual which we know for sure now but they're so strong anyway. He says he should have been his forever partner! He really trusts Neil with his life despite only knowing him in the Nest for a few weeks- something that never happened with Riko or Zane despite knowing them both for years.

I am so so happy that Marisha added the "keyleth tenses up" when Vax took her hand. She hasn't seen him in nearly 30 years. THIRTY YEARS.

Keyleth is angry. She can't move on. Vax sends her a raven every day. He misses her but he is preoccupied with a job that warps his sense of time. Keyleth experiences time like any other mortal world, day by day.

She loves him, but its taking up the same space as her grief, resentment, and sorrow for him. It is a difficult for her. These feelings have been rolling around inside her for a few decades and now she is asked to "pretend like everything is normal" for one night. (I love you Vex I know you are just happy to see your brother again.)

And I am not saying that Vax is all in the wrong here. Liam made it clear that his sense of time is not normal. He might not feel like its been as long, so the awkwardness of just seeing your previous partner for the first time in forever isn't there. He doesn't feel the rift, or at least not nearly as greatly as Keyleth does. So he takes her hand, because he loves her and he misses her.

And she tenses up because what the fuck is she supposed to do now?

knowing Neil loves taking about exy and him knowing Kevin was talking about it with the rest of the team yet Neil chose to go to the back of the bus to sit with Andrew after Kevin told him to go back and argued with him and yet the Foxes acted surprised when Andreil came out

the necklace exchange has to be one of my favorite scenes in the show. because in the books. annabeth gives percy her necklace to symbolize that she'll fight beside him in the face of adversity. when he's about to fight ares. but in the tv series. ares was never the real threat. percy whooped his ass in two seconds flat. the real threat was zeus. zeus is at the head of the neglectful system of which the gods use their children's as pawns to do their bidding. and when percy compared him to a monster. something he has to dismantle or dethrone to survive. he is essentially setting a death sentence in motion. and annabeth. who has blindly followed in the gods footsteps since she was seven. who has done everything they've ever asked. who perceives her value as a person based solely on the gods approval. understood that. and to go from blindly following the gods into to battle. to figuratively fighting alongside percy in the face of adversity. is one of the the utmost expressions of faith between these two thus far. and i love it so much.
