you've been aimlessly driving for the past couple of minutes, unsure if chaewon even notices. you weren't expecting a spontaneous hang out today, so you were severely unprepared.

"how about a convenience store run, just like old times?" pursing your lips you glance at her as if you already had that thought. "pfft, yeah i was already heading there."

making your way down several isles you surprisingly bump into chaewon already picking out items. stopping in your tracks, you cross your arms and tap your feet in disbelief. you cough deliberately, attempting to gain her attention.

"pfft, what?" she doesn't even bother looking at you. "what do you mean, 'what'?" slowly approaching her, you snatch the kimbap she was holding. quickly turning her head, she raises a brow.

for what seemed like 30 minutes, you're starting to doubt your gps when it leads you to an isolated road. the only source of light that's surrounding you is the brightness of your headlights. it's like you're in a horror movie where you encounter an eerie girl standing on the side of the road.

an uneasy feeling in your stomach begins to stir just by thinking about it. you quickly glace at chaewon whose face is as pale as snow. "you good? you don't usually look as white." she grips on to her thighs and swallows hard. "why wouldn't i be? hehe..."

as you slowly approach the edge of the cliff, the view of the city lights comes into sight, leaving you mesmerized. who knew such a place existed that overlooks the city. chaewon lets go of your hand, letting you take in the scenery.

gawking for too long, you didn’t even notice the feeling of fear had completely washed away. discovering chaewon’s slipped away from your side, you promptly turned around only to see her resting on the bench behind you. she pats the empty space beside her gesturing you to sit down.

“so how’d you know about this place?” you drop your weight on the old wooden material. chaewon shifts closer to you and rests her head on your shoulder.

“i used to come here a lot with my grandma. we’d clear our heads and just talk.” you’re left speechless as you figure out where this is heading. “i wanted to share it with you for awhile now.” your heart softens at her words, realizing you occupy a special place in her heart.

you chuckle as you start playing with her hair, "thank you."

you both sit in comfortable silence just admiring the night sky. after a short while, you felt chaewon's grip on your hand loosen. turning your head to look at her, her eyes completely closed as her chest rises and falls.

looking at the time, it's nearing 1 in the morning. she must be exhausted after such a busy day. you can't even imagine what she'll have to go through later.

you lightly squeeze her, attempting to not startle her. "baby let's take you home yeah?" she groans in response with her eyes still glued shut.

crouching down, you force her to get on your back. you carried her back to the car and gently placed her in the passenger seat. you slowly walked back to the drivers side, taking in the view one last time. bringing her back here for your anniversary would be lovely, you thought.

That's what you were known for. I mean, your group had the most background variety compared to all the 4th gen groups. The fimmies had a ballerina, an opera singer, a J-pop idol, a dance academy student, two ex-izone members, and a modern dancer.

You were also the second oldest of the team, holding a motherly reputation in the public eye. Regardless of this persona, everyone knew you had; Bada had met you in your youthful, energetic, and lively state.

The two of you had met through Aespa, being friends with them since you were a trainee at SM Entertainment many years ago. It was a Tuesday in March, and you had decided to visit the girls preparing for their next comeback with 'Girls.'

Bada's brows furrow at Haechi's motion. This was a competition, so why was she being way too nice to you? She understood that you were pretty and people would flirt with you, mostly when they thought you were single, but this angered her. Haechi must've been aware of your relationship, especially after everyone talked about it, AND this was going on live television. Did Haechi just wanna fight Bada at this point? Because that's how your girlfriend begins to interpret it.

As you were the challenger, Heachi goes first. Showing off the years of experience Wolf'Lo had in freestyle, she represented them well. The swaggy, hip-hop, energetic vibe set the tone for the battle.

okay this batch of headcanons will be mostly focused on joeys empire and jornoth

- the only way to find this empire is by getting lost. you can’t enter it by going on a path previously marked. even if you retrace your steps exactly you will not find it until you get lost

- it’s essentially anarchy. joey is technically the ruler but he doesn’t actually hold that much power over everyone. he has the ability to control them but he just doesn’t care/need to

- the citizens speak the universal empires language with bits of various other languages mixed in

- before the lost empire was recognised as a kingdom by the other empires, they never had visitors. the only people there were the citizens, who had entered as small children and never left

- due to the fact that the citizens had lived there their whole lives, when the kingdom got corrupted, the citizens who fled became lost and homeless, and the ones who couldn’t leave became corrupted as well

now the jornoth ones (uncorrupted xornoth will be in pink, corrupted will be in red, other will stay in white)

- xornoth was the first person who found the lost empire by actively searching for it. they had heard legends about a magical empire blessed by gods with immortality in the jungle and went looking for it

- wearing jewellery is very common in elf culture with gold reserved for royalty. when xornoth got corrupted they were no longer accepted to wear gold. however joey loves to dress them up in it. it makes them feel so much more loved

- part of the reason xornoth doesn’t wear much clothes is because it’s very hot and humid in the lost empire and that’s where they are most of the time

- they send each other letters with a special parrot that knows how to enter/exit the lost empire easily

- that parrot is the only bird with the same wing patterns as joey

- joey was also in scott and xornoths shared afterlife, because xornoth couldn’t be happy without him

- xornoths real name is not xornoth. xornoth is the title used for the champion of aeor. joey is the only one who knows this information, but doesn’t know their real name (it was wiped from xornoths memory). joey refused to call them xornoth after learning this. he only calls them pet names

- xornoth can’t directly tell joey the truth about their past and exor and stuff so they figured out a secret way to communicate without exor knowing so xornoth doesn’t get in trouble

- exor did end up finding out and took over xornoths body completely and started to corrupted joey. joey wasn’t aware of this change and was very easily taken over by corruption

“Of course I had lots of fun, let me go check on him.” You told them and made your way over to the couch Where Hyunjin was seated, his skin was pale and his hair stuck to his forehead. “Hi baby, you okay?”

“No I feel nauseous my head is killing me, I don’t feel good.” He told you, tears collecting in his eyes. “I’m sorry I’m ruining your day.”

“No you’re not love don’t talk like that,” you attempted to comfort him, “lean your head on my shoulder it’ll make you feel better just close your eyes. “Chae is driving the car closer to the entrance so you don’t have to walk far.”

“Mmm.” He sighed leaning against you and placing a hand over his stomach.

“Migraines are the worst, I’m sorry.” Yunjin apologized. “Feel better Yeah?”

But Hyunjin was so out of it he could barely hear her, he burried his face into your neck and said, “I feel like I’m going to throw up.”

“Shhh, don’t worry you won’t.” You attempted to calm him down but you could hear his stomach doing flips and knew.

“The nearest bathroom is two floors down and the elevator isn’t working today.” Kazuha warned.

“Shit.” You cursed just as Hyunjin gagged and covered his mouth, he shut his eyes as vomit began to deep through his fingers. “Is there a trash can?”

“No I’m sorry!” Yunjin apologized but tossed a towel onto the floor to at least attempt to do the cleaners a favor for what was inevitably happening. “There.”

“He can just throw up there’s no time.” Kazuha told you.

“Just let It Go Hyunjin it’s fine baby, you’ll feel better afterwards.” You comforted him as he let go of his mouth and gagged once more as a thick stream of vomit splattered onto the floor despite the towel. “I’m sorry baby.”

“Y/n…” He groaned and held your hand as he started throwing up again, his watery breakfast making an appearance in front of you as Chaewon arrived with a trash can and stepped back as to not get any on her shoes. He coughed as you put the trash can under his chin and he continued throwing up bile.

“Shhh you’re okay.” You hushed.

“I’ll call the cleaners.” Kazuha volunteered leaving the room.

“I’ll call Chan and tell him you can’t make practice tomorrow too.” You told Hyunjin as he nodded silently, saliva dripping from his mouth and vomit through his nose. “You’ll be okay.”

After the whole ordeal at hybe you and Hyunjin went home and you helped him take a shower before settling into bed, he fell asleep fast and you held him close to you. “Sleep well angel.” You hushed. And he did just that.

the fimmies' coachella perf was... certainly something. let me scream about the new song hot & fun for second before continuing BECASHHRHH THE WAY SSAMU CAME IN WITH HER IT GIRL ENERGY I DIED THIS IS SOOOOO HER SONG ISTG THE CHORUS WHERE SHE WAS IN THE CENTER 1-800-HOT AND FUNNNNNNN UNDER THE RED LIGHT SHE ATE THIS SHIT UPPPPP she was so into the perf i loved her energy and she sounded insane. she was deffo feeling herself the most imo my bae.

aaaanyways on with the perf in general i mean you CAN see improvement on the live singing department and they have been preparing for two months and some.... but was it coachella-ready? doubtful kind of i mean their songs are on the lower range (relative to more typical gg songs) and that sounds amazing on studio versions, but unless completely relaxed and stationary, singing them will always be very difficult ESP!! with hybe choreographies 😭😭 i mean im happy they stood still when singing their parts instead of continuing to sing with the choreo (ähem ähem proof of virtually everyone relying heavily on playback during music shows) but for 40 minutes ofc they're going to run out of stamina but that's what carries a perf in the first place so i don't get why they didn't get sent AFTER they became stamina beasts or sth 💔💔

i love my girls so so much they're my absolute faves since long long long before their debut but it hurts my soul not to be able to defend their live singing ahahhahaha amazing performers no doubt!!! their energy was insane that night they were so hype and the crowdwork was amazing omg (nice work deflecting the difficult endings of phrases into sth to hype the stage ahahah) but it was so so apparent how much they had to catch their breaths in between :( and it sucks how ppl get disappointed when they hear actual live stages when the entertainment industry, especially in korea where perfection is implemented and wanted EVERYWHERE, heavily edits the audio and processes them before posting them on youtube and call it "live". even the closest things you can call to "live" have some sort of tuning through the mics on the spot so they can be very deceptive to people's singing abilities and not to tear some ppls' horns but leemujin is SOOO heavily processed too!! plus the reverb on mics always make you sound better and the mics on coachella didn't have much reverb (for at home viewers, not live on-site) and that's BRUTAL oml so yeah idk what to say and wow what a tangent i went on im sorry but it pisses me off. what's called "live" ISN'T 100% live most of the time and that should be common knowledge oh my freaking gosh killing voice too!!!

chasing lightning: “i keep craving greek yogurt. i swear i could live off of it for the rest of my life / but you’re allergic. what if you get sick?” iconic + real. seriously though the structure of having it be a conversation + acknowledging so much of what they’ve been going through is really touching. i didn’t expect to cry over the opening track but it’s definitely my favorite album opener so far

crazy: way less melody than anticipated, but it suits the concept. it’s fun + fits the fimmies well. the mv was definitely the best they’ve done at nailing the visual concept within the mv, which i think they struggled with with unforgiven + easy. i liked that each member had their own motif throughout their scenes (kkura magical girl?) pre-chorus “i put myself on trial daily / in my brain” only to end the mv on “meaningless” is very on the nose.

pierrot: it’s gonna be so fun to see a live performance of this. huge potential for actually amazing remixes too

1-800-hot-n-fun: most anticipated track of the year studio version is finally here!!!! coachella week one performance you will always be iconic 🫶🫶🫶 i’m so glad they chose to introduce the song then as a live stage bc i think it made it pop so much more. it wouldn’t stand out as much after the previous two tracks, but having such a stellar introduction makes it even more exciting

crazier: producer yunjin 🤍🤍🤍 it sounds so her + it’s so lovely. cannot imagine how precious of an experience it was to write + produce a song for her members. the lyrics.. absolutely devastating. i am a ballad lover + a huh yunjin + ot5 lover through + through this is everything to me 🤍

it’s been so fun being with them since pre/debut + seeing how well they’ve grown and evolved their sound already.

starting the album on “i miss my dog” and ending on “i couldn’t go crazy in my youth”

suuuch a solid concept album. i love how well they played with the idea of going / being / acting / other perceiving you as crazy. they looked at from so many different angles and sonically the ep is so broad but everything fits together well. it feels like a story, but also like a conversation between them that they’re presenting to us.

this is gonna be such a fun album to sit with too bc there are so many layers to it. lyrics, visuals, concept, choreo, etc etc. ik my thoughts on it rn vs in a month vs by winter vs the end of the year are all going to be so different and it’s gonna be soo fun to grow with it

as an overall mini, my favorite release from them for sure. it was so different from what i expected but also exactly what i’d hoped for. i am so so excited to see how they manage promotions for this era bc it’s so amazing already. it’s going to be sm fun to sit through this promo cycle

god i love le sserafim so much. when all the hate was happening i kept fighting for them but i felt everything slowly losing momentum tbh. i was just worried about the fimmies and scared the hate would get to them. but listening to crazy just reminded me how much i love their music. they put so much hard work into it and do everything they can for us. their concepts are always so creative no matter what people say. all of the girls stand out and are just amazing idols. i don’t care about the hate. le sserafim is my ult gg for a reason.
