It's going to be Tarlos's first wedding anniversary next month! How do you think they'll celebrate?

Ooh thank you for this question, anon! Because it will be the first anniversary of Gabriel's death too, I think they will keep it fairly low-key but also stretch it out and be really clingy and cuddly with each other. I'm thinking about what Ronen said at the Paris con, how his imagined honeymoon for Tarlos was them in their apartment, holding onto each other. I think it's the same for the anniversary.

Carlos will throw himself into making an amazing dinner with organic ingredients from the farmers' market, ready for when TK gets home from work. TK will be swept of his feet. Likewise, TK will surprise Carlos with a couple of gifts of things he knows Carlos had his eye on. He'll give him a beautiful journal because first anniversary gifts are traditionally paper-themed. They'll have a bath. Fizzy bath bomb, rose petals in the water, candles aglow, that kind of thing. They shall make love. It will descend into chaos as it always does. There will be screaming. Neighbours will slip passive aggressive notes under the door!

They will argue over who gets to the be the big spoon, with TK winning. They will wake up in each other's arms all soft and smiley. Later, the Catan Gang arrives and they have a little party - charcuterie board, sparkling cider. The Tarlos juggernaut wins the game.

During their next day off together, they take a drive to their wedding venue and wander around hand in hand, reliving the atmosphere and magic. They talk about getting a dog.

Ohh Anne, I am answering your Nice Ask now, and to be fair and because there are never too many opinions on this topic, I have to ask back, What are you hoping Season 5's "steamy scene", that supposedly tops all the other Tarlos ones we've seen, might look like 😏??

I have to admit, I'm a little skeptical of Ronen's claim that this scene will be hotter than 1x02...but I would be thrilled for it to be true! Even if it doesn't top the scenes we've already gotten, I will still be absolutely overjoyed to get a "steamy scene"--we deserve it, they deserve it, everyone deserves it!

When I think about 1x02, the main thing that sticks in my mind (other than TONGUES) is that bouncing off the walls, so hot for each other that they can't wait another second kind of energy. If we could see something like THAT with them as husbands, I would die, but I'd die happy. Maybe some kind of a parallel with 1x02--we get to see them aggressively slide that loft door open and slam each other against the walls and onto the furniture, perhaps? Or another parallel--TK rips the buttons off Carlos' shirt!!

I would also love if a scene like this arose from a bit of angst. Maybe it could follow TK getting hurt or the two of them being in a dangerous situation! Or perhaps they have to be apart for a little while for some reason, like Carlos going undercover or something like that. They could then release their fear and other pent up emotions in a very productive way 😏

Rafa also tried to get Ronen attention @ showing him gifts/artworks that he received from fans? Somehow I can only visualise Ronen doing that (because of how enthusiastic he is at everything 😆)

May I know how did they try to do that? In photos their individual tables seem so far apart haha

(Sorry for asking so much questions 😫 but the mentioned part of “banter and quiet conversations as they played off each other” do you remember what they were bantering about? And by quiet conversations is it referring to them doing the “pretending-to-talk-to-each-other-but-actually-there’s-no-sound-coming-from-them” thingy? 😂)

The tables weren't that far apart, and Ronen definitely did it more than Rafa did because Rafa was always focused on the person in front of him at the time. You had his whole attention when you were there and it was amazing.

But they would look up and over at each other from time to time to see what was going on, catch each other's eye, that kind of thing. When they were leaving for the break Rafa was showing Ronen a few of the things he'd been given.

The banter was mostly about the wedding - they had no idea what wedding we were talking about! Rafa also gives these really detailed answers that end up travelling some distance from the question (one point leads to another then to another and to another) and when he said "what was the question again?" Ronen laughed in a way that makes me think this is very much a thing Rafa does.

During the panel stuff they would bounce off each other too: Ronen talked about wanting domestic Tarlos, Rafa then added "Ronen just wants a shower scene" which is clearly a thing because Ronen picked right up on it and quipped about how it's important to know these things about a character. And when talking about food Ronen jumped in with Rafa's "order". They would pick up on things the other was saying and finish it off or add to it or make comments about the other: when asked about who was latest to work Rafa was very quick to say Ronen's name; Rafa being very early to set cueing up Ronen's comment about call times being "suggestions".

The "not really talking" thing was in the M&G. Someone asked about what they were excited about coming up: Ronen said episodes 8 and 12, then it was "oh and then that thing", "yeah, and that other thing", "oh then..." and after that it was a mix of gestures and noises as they referred to a sequence of events we know nothing about!

Whatever is coming up for the boys they love it and are excited for us to see it. But they gave us nothing to go on.

If you saw the video Ronen posted before 4x01 of him and Rafa where they did the "you tell me that thing", "which leads to that other thing"? It was like that.

Ok first of all I'm not a fan of big and pompous weddings in general and I don't even think that would be them so I'm hoping for something lowkey and cozy and intimate and that feels like them.

Then I really need it to be a celebration of their love and their love only and I need to see every single moment of it like I need air. I need to see them saying goodbye in the morning (cause they obviously didn't wanna sleep apart) to get ready for the day and I need one of them to go "see you at the altar". I need one of them getting pre-wedding jitters and not because they're having second thoughts but just because they want everything to go perfectly and I need the other to sneak out to comfort him and also tell him how beautiful and hot he looks. I need emotional vows that will make me bawl my eyes out and if they cry too? that's a big fck yes. I need a first slow dance and then I need carlos to go "hey you wanna dance?" and have a parallel to the first time they ever danced together. I need carlos to have a dance with his mum and then I need TK to have a dance with his now mother in law. I need them to have a good wedding night and a so well freaking deserved honeymoon.

And, thinking about it, you know what's the best part of it all? that in whatever way their wedding will go, it doesn't really matter cause ronen and rafa are gonna DELIVER and I'm gonna be. eating. that. shit. up.

Answer those character questions for Magnetic North tarlos!! (if you want ofc)

What is the character’s go-to drink order? TK is highly caffeinated at all times and likes the fancy coffee drinks. The kind that have like 8 words in their title. Carlos likes more simple things, like black coffee and diet coke. He likes red wine, but drinks it less since falling in love with TK.

What is their grooming routine? TK has a devoted skincare regimen. He is Owen's kid after all lol. Carlos is more of a typical man about it, but TK rubs off on him and he starts using moisturizer at least.

What was their most expensive purchase/where does their disposable income go? They have a lot of disposable income, top NHLers make a lot of money, but tbh I don't feel like either of them are too extravagant about anything. They both live in apartments that are a lot nicer than what most people could afford, but not nearly as nice as they could afford. Carlos is a financial planner, he has investments and an accountant and has hopes of taking kids to Disney World one day. TK has no idea how much money is in his bank account at any given time but he doesn't buy a lot of unnecessary stuff because it doesn't make him happy.

Do they have any scars or tattoos? They both definitely have scars, hockey players always do. Especially TK, with his fighting. He's got scars on every knuckle. I also gave him some of Ronen's tattoos in this fic, the flower and the bee and the butterflies. Carlos does not have any tattoos. Andrea would faint.

What was the last time they cried, and under what circumstances? God didn't they both cry in the last chapter LOL. Carlos is more of a crier than TK. He gets misty about romantic movies and cute animal videos and babies laughing and sentimental Christmas commercials. TK hates crying, but does it more than he'd like because he's had a lot of things to cry about.

Are they an oldest, middle, youngest or only child? Carlos is an only child (and has a ton of pressure on him because of it). Jonah exists in this universe, so TK was an only child for most of his life but now has a 2 year old brother.

Describe the shoes they’re wearing. Carlos is not super stylish. He's an athlete, 99% of the time he's in sneakers. TK has more of a sense of fashion, he likes Converse and boots and nice leather dress shoes.

Describe the place where they sleep. TK's apartment is very impersonal. He's moved around so much, he's never bothered to collect a lot of personal mementos because he would just have to cart them from city to city. He has a really good mattress and a warm quilt but few personal touches. Carlos doesn't like clutter, so his place looks a little bit impersonal at first glance, but there are pictures in frames and he could tell you exactly when and where he purchased each piece of furniture and who was with him when he did (usually his mom or Nancy.) He has the puck that he scored his first ever NHL goal with in a glass box on his bookshelf.

What is their favorite holiday? Definitely Christmas/Hannukah. Carlos loves his family so much. In recent years TK doesn't like Hannukah as much as he used to, because his mom is gone and it was their special time. But next year, Carlos is gonna make it special again.

What objects do they always carry around with them? TK always has lip balm, and usually has a lighter even though he doesn't smoke. He flicks the flame on sometimes, as a nervous tick. Carlos wears a cross necklace, even thought he's struggled with his faith over the years, because his mom gave it to him when he turned 10 and he can't get rid of it.

I like that we're seeing a petty, asshole-ish side of Carlos. He needs to have flaws. I just don't like that we're probably not going to see a resolution to it. TK was clearly beat up (emotionally) by both himself and Carlos in 4x03 in order to up the drama, like you said. But there is no way it's going to be addressed in 4x04. There just won't be time. They're gonna show Carlos's ordeal, TK finding him, and then an emotional reunion. And then we move on to Marjan's and Grace's storylines in 4x05. And then we're probably not gonna see much of Tarlos until we get them happily planning their wedding (possibly with some lingering health concerns for Carlos). Like every single time TK and Carlos have fought or had problems, Carlos's actions will be swept under the rug. Idk maybe I'm wrong, but this is my prediction based on 1) the amount of story left to tell and the amount of time left to tell it, and 2) the track record of the show's treatment of TK and Carlos. And it's kind of depressing.

I totally get that. I felt the same way about how they totally romanticized Carlos buying the loft as a “surprise”. I also agree that we won’t get an on-screen resolution to the attitudes/treatment, at least not in 4x04. I totally agreed with TK that it was a power move, however well intentioned it had been, it was a power move (which I have thoughts on too – especially in light of him being legally married at that time).

I think that there is a possibility of Carlos saying something to someone other than TK about it, or maybe a reference at some point by the 4x08 “Control Freaks” episode. Similar to how TK worked through the break up (well blaming himself for it only) in his coma dream – I think we will get Carlos admitting his mistakes to Andrea or someone like that. I could be wrong – but this show LOVES it’s parallels, and that would be a good one.

It sometimes takes me several rewatches of scenes before I can truly appreciate them. I love 3x13 – it is a beautiful episode that truly showcases their love and growth, but some of the scenes were harder to watch for me at first – we just hurt for both of them, because we care about them. But, after doing my analysis, picking the episodes apart piece by piece, truly dig into the characters and their motivations, then I truly enjoy them.

That is how I was Tuesday night watching 4x03. I knew going into it that it would be rough. And it was. But I have watched it several times now, I appreciate each scene for what they are – more pieces to this big puzzle that is Carlos Reyes.

The hard part about loving these guys so fucking much, is that we want to see EVERYTHING, but they can only give us glimpses of their life with the occasional larger treat – but like Ronen has been saying there is way more Tarlos this season than ever before, so maybe we will both be surprised and get something on screen – but if not, then I know that myself and a bunch of other writers will be filling in the gaps with all the fics we can dream up.

I wish the show didn’t put so much of the blame for pretty much everything on TK, but another show I am a huge fan of, did the same thing with one of their main characters for 7 seasons – it didn’t matter who else participated in them, who else helped make the choices – this one character took like 94% of the blame for every decision made. It was maddening, there were never any good choices, so all decisions kinda sucked & had shitty consequences.  I have just accepted that TK is that character for this show, as frustrating as it can be. At least we have Ronen to portray him as wonderfully as he does.

How do you feel about the constant TK vs Carlos discourse? I see more TK discourse from Twitter and Tumblr than I do for Carlos, it seems like literally Everyone loves Carlos, and wants to rip TK apart for every little thing he says or does. But it's even more annoying when they make it a TK vs Carlos thing. Like, they're getting married, people! They've moved on from any missteps and are stronger than ever.

there is no a vs b in a relationship and i think that’s something we as a fandom need to understand. i was very adamant during The Breakup Era that we were not assigning blame to either of them, because that is so very not fair. they’re in a relationship based on compassion and love and care for one another. when one messes up, it’s not an automatic breakup because that is not how things work. that has quite literally never been how things work in a relationship. at least not a healthy one. yes, jealousy can come into some but that is how communication gets put into it. you communicate to move past the problem.

that being said i have two theories as to why everyone wants to chew tk out so badly.

1: tk wears his heart on his sleeve, whereas carlos has to fight to show them because they were raised differently. tk feels outwardly and loudly and some of those negative emotions have no way to filter out other than acting out (i mean, look at his fuckin dad). i know a lot of people who relate with carlos do not like the idea of someone so skittish, for lack of better words, reaping the consequences of a misunderstanding. i wanna use 2.04 as an example. tk exploded on carlos because he misunderstood his boundaries, and carlos didn’t tell him the whole truth. he wasn’t ready to. both of them were coping with the situation at hand and they had different responses because they are different people. there is nuance to their relationship and just because tk is prone to lashing out doesn’t mean carlos isn’t ready for it. not every couple is happy go lucky all of the time.

two: some people just don’t like ronen and take it out on tk but that’s a whole other can of worms.

Hello 😃 I love your blog a lot and you seem so lovely! I’ve always wanted to write but never really went through with it, apart from 3 tries over the past decade. I’ve discovered Tarlos and 911 just recently and I’ve been fully enamored. And the way Ronen and Rafa play these characters finally inspired me to give writing a new go.

So I wrote a short little fic, it’s my first actually - and I’ve no idea if it’s even good but I’d love any opinion really, to get better! But I’m also definitely too shy and insecure to publish it anywhere (yet) 😅

Colton and Kelly Anne were born six weeks early and spent the first two months of their lives in the NICU but little Kelly Anne was strong and she showed promise early on. While Colton wasn’t doing well, his sister was thriving and with her beside him, he pushed through. He could get through anything as long as he had her by his side. That would prove to be true for years to come, a bit of foreshadowing of their lives.

Colton was always the shy one, less adventurous and afraid of everything as a kid. His twin was a firecracker, pushing him to his limits and then some but Colt was never afraid when Kelly Anne was with him. She had a calming presence about her. “I won't let you fall, Colty Bear.” Her words echoed in his mind any time he felt too small and too scared to take a risk. Her easy grace and her iconic charm made it impossible to doubt himself. She was the reason he ever found the courage to learn to ride horses. That became his comfort when life got hard, taking a ride on his mare, Willow.

Smartest kid in the class to Kelly Anne’s most popular, they were a perfect dichotomy and everyone knew they were a package deal. Nothing could touch them and their futures looked brighter than ever. Colton accepted the offer of an academic scholarship to University of Tennessee, Kelly Anne went to beauty school because academics weren’t her thing. It was the first time they were ever really apart.

One, two, three, four, five missed calls. “Colt…it’s your sister.” Nothing could have prepared him for those words. His world came crashing down in a matter of moments. It wasn’t real, it couldn’t be. But as he stepped into that emergency room he could have sworn he felt the bond between them sever. She was gone. Twenty years old and suddenly so very alone.

The next few years were a blur, Colton spent most of them drinking and doing drugs. Those who knew him before could hardly recognize him now. His older brother tried to talk some sense into him but he couldn’t hear it. The voices, the memories, the haunting screams, nothing could drown it out. And then one day, he just started moving on. He met someone who brought him to his first NA meeting and slowly, things got better.  He never went back to school, deciding that there was no life outside of Nashville for Colton anymore. He started doing tattoos and took a job at a local shop as something to channel his pain into.

Even after everything that happened in his life, all the broken pieces in his heart of missing his sister, Colton found a way to bring sunshine into the lives of everyone he’s around. Keeping Kelly Anne with him and sharing the love and light that she was in his life gave him a purpose, he does a lot of things now these days because “Kel would want me to” and that’s played a huge part in his self discovery as well.

Coming out as bisexual was easy because he knew that if his sister were around she’d have been squealing and hugging him and so happy for him. He was sure she knew anyway, she’d always kept a fairly close eye on his love life, or lack thereof. Twenty two felt a little late to come out but he’s never once regretted his decisions.

Coined by fans of Fox’s hit procedural drama 9-1-1: Lone Star, the affectionate “ship” name is a portmanteau of the show’s queer main characters: firefighter-turned-paramedic Tyler Kennedy “T.K.” Strand and Carlos Reyes, an Austin police officer. The LGBTQ-inclusive series centers on the lives of emergency responders and also boasts names like Rob Lowe, Liv Tyler, and transgender actor Brian Michael Smith.

Watching Lone Star, which opens a fourth season in early 2023, it’s easy to see why fans love Tarlos. Their relationship — which began in the pilot episode in an Austin honky-tonk and evolved into a roller coaster of casual hookups, breaking up, moving in together, and eventually getting engaged — is a story LGBTQ+ fans could only dream about seeing on network television just a few years ago. Seeing these two characters — with their movie-star good looks and boys-next-door appeal — navigate life and love in relatable ways gives fans giddy feelings with every new episode (which is why discussions of Lone Star continually trend on Twitter during the television season).

Fortunately, out actors Ronen Rubinstein and Rafael Silva have the chemistry to bring these two Lone Star boys to life.

“I can’t imagine doing this with somebody that (a) you don’t like and (b) you don’t mesh well with on set,” Rubinstein says of Silva. Since they started this journey as Tarlos when Lone Star premiered in 2020, the two have grown close as both colleagues and friends. “I can’t imagine doing that with somebody that you don’t get along with and you don’t respect and you don’t love as a human being,” he adds. “I can honestly say that’s how I feel about Rafael.”

“Ro and I are just so fucking different as people…. But it’s this sort of yin and yang thing,” says Silva. “Two of the same pieces of the same puzzle are not going to go together, they’re just not. They have to be different in order to complement each other, and I think we do that very well as actors and as people.”

One of the first scenes the two shot together was a sex scene, and like with any intimacy on camera, that required a lot of trust — even if at the time, they had just recently met. But the two used their real-life newness with each other to their advantage, as it paralleled how T.K. and Carlos were also just getting to know each other, creating a realistic pairing that the stans simply can’t get enough of.

“At that point, when you have a bunch of people just watching you make out and do that, you have to rely on your partner,” Silva says. “It’s like we only got each other right now, so let’s just do whatever happens here, just go with the flow. Let’s just go.”

Tarlos, with all their confidence and chemistry, is one of television’s better examples of an LGBTQ+ couple just getting to live their messy but meaningful lives without extreme trauma keeping them apart. A couple like Tarlos was a portrayal Rubinstein and Silva didn’t see a lot of growing up, and that helped motivate them to portray T.K. and Carlos in a way never before seen by generations of queer TV watchers.

Silva, who was born in Brazil and spent the early part of his childhood there, says he was raised in a very male-dominated, machismo-drenched culture with a stigma surrounding gay people. It wasn’t until he was a young adult attending Pace University in New York City that he was exposed to queer culture, and he was able to “actively, fully be myself” as a gay man. And it wasn’t until he saw Viola Davis’s badass bisexual Annalise Keating on ABC’s acclaimed How to Get Away With Murder that he felt like he saw something of himself represented on television.

Like Silva, Rubinstein, who spent his childhood in the U.S. but was born in Israel after his family left the Soviet Union following its collapse, had a similar experience growing up in a culture that taught folks being gay or queer was verboten. “It just wasn’t a thing that was ever brought into my world,” Rubinstein says.

That is, until he caught the acting bug. Going into Manhattan for auditions and exploring the West Village introduced Rubinstein to people and cultures that he had never experienced before, and that’s when he started to realize he could truly be himself and like both men and women. (Rubinstein publicly came out as bisexual in April of 2021 while Lone Star’s second season was airing.)

“I remember going there, just wandering around, and I was like, ‘Oh, wow, this is amazing,’” he recalls. “I think that was probably the first time where I started looking at men differently. Especially growing up, [I don’t remember] anybody talking about being bisexual. That wasn’t even a term that I even knew existed. It was just gay or lesbian.”

Though they didn’t have much representation growing up, Silva and Rubinstein are elated by how many people are touched by Tarlos. “It’s really all over the world right now, it’s unbelievable,” Rubinstein reflects. “I’d be lying to you if I said, ‘Yeah, of course I knew it would be like this,’ or ‘Yeah, I expected it.’ First of all, just for this storyline to even be birthed, it is so risky. Especially for a network like Fox. If it wasn’t for [creators] Ryan Murphy and Tim Minear, it wouldn’t be possible, and it’s still shocking me to this day.”

What was also shocking for Silva and Rubinstein (in a good way) was getting to see just how much love fans were ready to give in real life, as the two got to meet Tarlos stans over the summer at the Dream It Not at Home convention in Paris.

“We met a lot of people saying, ‘I’ve been saving money to come here, I’ve been working overtime,’ so all I could hear was, ‘I’ve been putting in effort in order to see you,’” Silva says of the experience. “When you hear that, you feel the responsibility to also take them in.”

And they’re not taking any of that love and support lightly. With season 4 of Lone Star on the horizon, and with more Tarlos promised to viewers after a breathtaking proposal scene at the end of season 3, Silva and Rubinstein are more committed than ever to nailing their parts as authentically as possible. And they can’t wait for fans to see what season 4 has in store.

“I’ve definitely been shocked and surprised already within the first couple episodes. There’s definitely been some storylines where I’m like, ‘What?’” Rubinstein says. “It’s hard to predict what’s going to happen on the show, especially with us, so that’s been really cool. It keeps you on your toes, and when I get a script, I’m literally flipping through the pages as fast as I can because at any moment, there could be a bombshell — and we’re definitely going to have a couple this season.”

“Right off from episode 1, we’re going to find out some things that are funny, but it propels on to several beautiful episodes after the first one, and it’s going to be intense,” Silva says. “It’s going to be fun to watch and fun to do. Like what Ronen said, you can’t really expect much because things change a lot. Whatever you think is going to happen, Tim always brings something better than what your imagination can perceive. I think the fun part is just waiting to find out what actually happens.”

“The biggest thing is all paths lead to the wedding,” Rubinstein adds.

As the actors reflect on the future of their careers beyond Lone Star, both remain optimistic that LGBTQ+ representation is only going to improve, and they both want to work on projects that push boundaries and are more inclusive of historically marginalized identities. For Rubinstein, that means seeing more projects with bisexual male leads, and for Silva, that means adding Latinx representation to mainstream American media.

“I would love to do movies and work with some of my heroes, whether it’s Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, Christian Bale. I’ve been putting that out since I’ve started this journey, so hopefully it happens,” Rubinstein says. “I think, selfishly, I would like to see more male characters who are bisexual, especially in leading roles. It’s strange that it’s not happening more often. Maybe it’s going to take me to produce something or be the one that does it, but I’d love to see more of that. I think there’s a lot of stories to be told, but especially in the LGBTQ+ community.”

“If I’m going to dream, I want to do things that challenge me, that make me scared, but where I can also have fun and also, I’m going to say selfishly, where I can achieve a certain level in my career where I won’t feel like I have to explain myself,” Silva says.

i know that ronen meant for the "welcome home, tk" scene to be a new fan favourite, maybe even more so than the police station scene. and he didn't lie, it's a great scene. it's a perfect scene even.

but i cannot – for the life of me – stop watching or stop thinking about the tarlos reunion in the hospital.

the built up on both sides is incredible. tk and gwyn in his dream, talking about the break up and tk being worried carlos doesn't want to take him back. all the while andrea encourages carlos to talk to tk and get whatever is on his heart across in case he may never get to again. and carlos is so hurt and angry but he loves this dude so much and some of it must've come across to tk cause he wakes up from his coma and reaches for him like he knows it's what he's meant to. he wants to be with carlos so bad.

it's the "hi, baby" and the "breathe, breathe, breathe" for me. this stupid white boy stepped away from the edge like it was nothing and said 'alright, i gotta take care of my man now cause he needs me'.

it's tk holding out a hand for carlos cause he knew carlos wouldn't initiate no matter how much he'd want to. it's carlos taking a second to react because it's all so surreal like – tk's alive and he wants him there – but then once he's touched him, he can't bring himself to stop. it's how he kisses him and holds him and does all the things he was scared he'll never get to do again. it's the way tk holds him right back as if he's scared he's going to disappear right in front of him, like it's all going to shatter apart again.

it's the music – this stupid fucking song from a video game – that just hits you right between the ribs.

it's the way this story was told, with baby ryder being born at the exact same time. because there's more than one heart that starts beating right this second.

it's futile to say but if there ever was a scene that could beat the excellence of the police station scene from season one – and i'm not saying there is – i think it'd be this one.

I hope Lone Star do send TK and Carlos to the Hawaii honeymoon that Rafa and Ronen wanted. Rafa & Ronen idea was to have TK and Carlos saving the island while the island on lockdown and idk but the lockdown thing makes me feel it can be something like an infection thing going on?

And the angst we can get if during the rescue, one of them gets infected/or suspected to be infected and telling the other one to stay away from him (to keep him safe).

Of course the uninfected one will be reluctant to leave and hence the infected one will have to do something drastic to keep them apart. Maybe some hurtful/angsty words or creating some sort of physical barrier between them as he slowly walks away from him (damn I love angst)

AND BEFORE/AFTER THE ANGST PLS SHOW US TK AND CARLOS DOING CUTE THINGS IN HAWAII.

That would be SO FUN!!!!! Idk if it’s gonna happen, I’m kind of starting to suspect the wedding episode is going to be the finale since they haven’t filmed it yet. But I would love this.

So last predictions/wants for tonight scenes in order???

Oh man, Nonny. Everything. I want everything. I am not prepared to put the scenes in order, but major beats... Carlos trying to be who TK needs him to be when he gets home from that meeting - which is going to kill me to watch Carlos know he can’t fix it and have his heart break because he can’t help TK. Things will likely be tense here. Okay, fine, if I’m putting stuff in order, this is where the second still Ronen posted lives.  I think somewhere in here Carlos is going to meet TK’s sponsor. Maybe as a way of TK trying to help Carlos to understand. I think we’re going to see TK try to let Carlos in as a response to Carlos trying to reel in his impulses to fix things. Not sure why this affects Carlos as much as it does, but I’m looking forward to whatever we learn.  My hope is we’ll get some Tarlos + Family. There’s a Benito costume we haven’t seen and I’m hoping it’s for this episode. I want it to trigger some of the grief issues with TK around his mom. This will give us the scene with the scrapbook. I want them to talk marriage and family and what they want and why TK is scared-because things fall apart and people leave. I want Carlos to realize/vocalize that he loves all of TK, even the darker/unknowable parts of him. I have made no secret about the parallels between RWRB and 911 LS here...and I want it.  I also want the scene with the face cupping and Carlos curling around TK from behind so bad. These two are so tactile and I’m so happy to see we’re going to get a bunch of tactile moments from them. I’m still banking on some sexy times. We get one a season and that tweet was very innuendo heavy.  I think we’re either getting a formal proposal or confirmation that that’s exactly where both headed. I just think the words Happy Ending and Endgame have been tossed around a lot with this episode. Ronen posted the Don’t Worry Tarlos is ENDGAME while they were filming this episode. If there’s not a formal proposal, I think we’re going to get that they want their futures to be forever. 

This could all be wrong, and I’ll still be happy. I’m very excited for tonight. Lone Star Season 3 hasn’t disappointed.
