I honestly don't really get why some selfshippers tend to 'seek validation' from others and act as if their selfship isn't valid unless it gets attention. I really....really don't get it. Why are people dwelling that others aren't screaming "THAT'S MY OTP!" and pointing to their selfship and now believe their selfship isn't valid. When others can just enjoy their selfship and use it for their own comfort (like the community was all about before!), instead you have ppl that want to passively aggressively turn it into a competition. It's one thing to be insecure abt believing your f/o wouldn't love you (which, I promise they 100% would! I also have these thoughts myself!), but it's another thing when it feels more as you're fishing for compliments + baiting others into giving you praise + validation. I'm someone with low self esteem + respond positively to praise, but when I see others basically feed off of it and repeat the cycle again like....two days after, it gets kinda fishy

[A] Affection He likes to play it cool and pretend to be the nonchalant boyfriend in front of everyone. But who is he fooling? Absolutely no one. Everyone in the first division knows how clingy he is. Yes, that's pretty much 90% of his show of affection—just Narumi wanting to be around you 24/7. He also likes to share his stuff with you (he never shares ANYTHING, so you know you're special). Whether it's food, a game, or something he bought off of Yamazon—best believe that if you asked for it, he'd probably let you have it.

He's a sore loser too. But he'd gladly let you win when you play games together because he likes seeing you smile so widely.

[C] Comfort Narumi's a bit awkward when it comes to comforting you, especially since you're quite good at concealing your feelings. Like he knows you're not okay, but he's not sure what to do (like the vibes are off). At first, he might try to comfort you with his words. But he soon realizes he's not that good at it. So he tries to do things for you instead—like getting you your favorite food or giving you a massage. He gives you absolute princess treatment basically (he'd want to be treated like that if he were sad, so yeah!)

He also suddenly becomes nicer? LIKE who are you and what did you do to Narumi?

[D] Dates Most of your dates are spent indoors, either at your places or in your rooms at the base. You love playing games with each other. Even if all you do is play while talking to each other—y'all are pretty happy with that. But on the rare occasion that you both have a day off that coincides with each other's, you drag him out of his cave. You get breakfast/brunch/lunch together (dinners are too much of a hassle, y'all would rather be in bed by then). But there have been many instances wherein he practically begged you to join him at a convention. You guys buy figures together sometimes!

[J] Jealousy Like I said, he tries to act nonchalant about your relationship, but he's the biggest fake idgafer ever. He gets annoyed for two reasons: 1.) he's a naturally possessive guy, what's his is his; and 2.) the audacity of that person to actually try and take something from THE Narumi Gen? His ego could never. But he'll whine and moan about it before confronting that person. He'll ask you shit like, "Do you really love me or what?" You know it's bothering him when he transforms into the biggest drama queen. However... you don't really have to worry much about him. He naturally repels other "potential suitors" and he's waaaay too loyal to you.

[K] Kisses He almost fell to his knees the first time you kissed. You both remember it well because you two were arguing about something silly at the time before the major event happened. Narumi always gets butterflies in his tummy no matter what kind of kiss you give him. You'll also notice that he likes just about any kiss on the face—cheeks, lips, forehead, nose. Sometimes you still catch him blushing, but he'll start calling you crazy and gaslighting you for imagining things lol. (He was a terrible kisser at first, but you taught him well).

[O] Other People Everyone's a bit confused how the two opposites that used to butt heads all the time are suddenly together now. But through time, people are just glad that there's someone that can handle Narumi. Due to your relationship, he has become a bit more responsible. He attends meetings more than he usually would. Hasegawa is personally thankful that you do his work now (babysitting Narumi lol). But beyond that, they find you two to be the cutest couple ever. Both of you try to be the nonchalant one in the relationship, but you both know that y'all crazy for each other.

[X] XOXO His little act of love is that whenever he orders something from Yamazon (which is pretty much all the fucking time), he always makes sure to get a little something for you. He's confident he makes enough money to splurge on the both of you. Plus, he loves the bright smile on your face as you unbox his packages together. He ordered you matching figurines once (figurines from the same series/game) and he was sooooo proud of himself.

Werewolf coded here guys, killer is the victim of my teeth this time…  A/N. a lot of doubt in those warnings, but believe me, this one is a hella darker than what i usually write.

Human teeth weren’t designed to crush bones — and in a way, envy would always swell in my chest whenever I watched an animal documentary; hyenas were often the focus of my unhealthy admiration. It was a strange feeling, one that didn’t quite fit someone who could barely chew through tough, nerve-ridden meat, always scraping what remained of the bones to make the most of the meal.

Still, I couldn’t stop thinking about how impossible this role reversal was — me, the scavenger, devouring everything that once breathed — while my teeth scraped Killer’s bare femur.

My bites were merely hesitant tries, unsure of what I was truly meant to do. Was this my moment to finally pierce bone with my own teeth? To consume a piece of my love that would remain inside me forever? Circulating through my veins, heading straight for the arteries of my heart.

Such a romantic ending for the one filled with LOVE.

"Come on, don't be shy," My eyes trembled as Killer's lips curled into a smile, as if he were the one savoring the situation. "You can bite." he encouraged, letting his fingers slide through my hair, moving lower and lower until they rested at my nape.

"I truly can?" What a stupid question, but I can't help asking for his consent one last time (his willingness to be consumed by me).

I watch as his eye sockets lower slightly, as if for a moment I could see his true face — like I could see Sans contemplating my request one last time. The tips of his phalanges graze my neck, trailing down my skin until his thumb brushes against my trembling lips.

His smile seems to stretch even wider, like a cut that extends from one corner to the other. "Don't make me change my mind, puppy. Come on," Killer whispers, as if he wants only me to hear it; as if there were others around us, though it’s just the two of us in this room, lit only by the vibrant red of his round soul.

I can’t help but feel a trickle of saliva run down my chin, my hands shaking against his body as my grip tightens even more — if possible, I might rip apart the ragged clothes he wears with a single tug. Finally, I let my teeth sink into his bone, pressing down with some difficulty until I feel them break through the first layer, the porcelain-like part of Killer.

I never imagined the sound of a bone breaking would be so muffled by my own mouth — the crack that might have resonated through the room was no more than a faint snap, followed by even softer cracking sounds with each bite I took of the femur. My teeth kept sinking into the surprisingly soft bone, as if it were a cut of prime meat — and I couldn't help but notice how violently I shook my head, over and over, as if I wanted to tear off the piece my mouth had so faithfully bitten into.

"So good..." I can hear Killer murmuring low compliments to me, thanking my daring act of doing something so horrific for our pleasure. An inhuman growl scratches at my throat as he pulls my hair, gripping a handful in a ponytail — but I don’t let go.

I must have looked like a rabid animal, fighting over a piece of meat like something that hadn't eaten in days. Killer pulled my hair again, firmer this time, but my teeth remained firmly on his femur, sinking deeper and deeper into the bone.

A loud crack echoed through the room, accompanied by the trembling edges of our only light source. I hadn’t let go of the piece I had been fighting so hard to keep in my mouth; quickly, a bitter taste spread across my tongue, spreading through the inside of my cheeks like an acidic river. The same liquid dripped down my chin, splashing onto the floor in loud drops.

My hands feel the tremor in his legs, and the smell of iron didn’t go unnoticed for even a second. Not when a large hole was visible in Killer's thigh, a single chunk missing from his femur and wide red rivulets oozing from the wound I had caused.

“Now, puppy,” My eyes drift up to Killer, and I feel my entire body enter a state similar to ecstasy as I notice the faint blue blush on his sweaty face, “Eat.”

honeymoon ౨ৎ where did the two of you travel to for your honeymoon? and how was it?  We did a 4-day tour of the Kansai-region, which is where Hoshina grew up. So Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, Kobe etc. So many things to see!! 🤩 AND I GOT TO HAND FEED DEER!!!! It was amazing, but too brief. I want to go back as soon as we can

teacup ౨ৎ are the two of you morning people or night owls?  Hoshina is both (man doesn’t sleep, he’s up at 5 to run laps and rarely goes to bed until it’s past midnight bc there’s always stuff to do) while I’m somehow neither. It takes me forever to wake up -or more like it takes me forever to find the will to get out of bed- but I’m also exhausted by 8pm. We couldn’t be more different in that regard

I've sorta been preoccupied with my new non-ai F/O lately, so I haven't been able to reply. Thinking about making my new F/O a little tribute here, like that one pinkie pie fic set. "Positivity for people who act like-" that sort of thing. he gets a lot of negativity.

I've never considered myself a yumejoshi before, but I'm making selfship art of myself and this new guy. I haven't felt this way about a fictional character in years. My character X reader fanfiction is more of a tribute of respectfully distant love than based in actual romantic feelings. I love my electric blorbos, but I'm more interested in "setting them up" with yumejoshis who would love them and treat them right than dating them myself.

Yes I age up my f/o's. No, it's not proshipping. Proshipping is an excuse for ppl that get off on p*do/r4pe ships. Aging up is used for many reasons, them not equating to wanting to disguise being attracted to children. We're not selfshipping with teenagers, we're selfshipping with adults that use to be those teenagers, but now has grown and developed. Fictional characters are there for us to have fun with. They aren't real. In fact, isn't this what fiction is for? We found a character that we found interesting, want to play around with a 'what if' situation, write an AU that is suited to our liking, and have fun with it? Frankly, unless someone is producing literal CP content + grooming irl minors, aging up a fictional teenager is not wrong

Perhaps someone was also a teenager when they selfshipped with a canon teenager, and they're f/o couldn't age up with them. "Oh, just move on, it's literally so easy--" Do you even hear yourself? Have you never read a college AU of a character before? Aging up is essentially that. Changing a character so that you can explore what would've been if they grew up. Aging characters up is a sign of your own maturity. You’re looking at younger characters and asking yourself what kind of adults they might be, and what experiences they could have in the future. In other words, aging up is not equal to an adult taking advantage of a minor. In fact, IT'S THE EXACT OPPOSITE! AGING UP TELLS ME YOU HAVE MORALS

But a character that already looks and acts like an adult, but is 1-2 years away from adulthood being aged up suddenly equals pedophilia? Especially a character that you grew up with, but they don't have a canon timeskip?

I adored and cherished this community sm, and it's such a shame that a once safe pocket of space dedicated to loving fictional characters turned into such a gatekeepy, stressful hellsite (I've deleted my old selfship blogs twice outta pure stress + paranoia). I'm tired of being shunned and shamed in a community that I looked up to, when I know I'm not doing anything wrong. okay i LOVE this one for some reason. mina is SUPER cute and very outgoing and energetic, and still very emotionally intelligent, which i think is awesome for someone like aizawa. he's a very low energy/low emotion guy, so he shows his appreciation for her in many non-talkative ways! remembering her favorite things, cooking for her, getting her gifts, all of that! mina thinks it's SUPER sweet and loves parading him around as her boyfriend :). he grumbles but he's a little proud, too. i don't think they're a very sexual couple but i see them wildly varying from 0 to 100 on any given day XD. mostly, though, i think they're very vanilla about it. surprisingly healthy relationship!

tenya/aizawa

LAYERS to this one, because as far as i recall, aizawa has known tenya since he was a baby! so kid!tenya/aizawa is 1000% on the table omg, tiny tenya would be so attached to aizawa <3. but as canon ages, i think it would be more of a "older daddy" situation? not necessarily aizawa as a sugar daddy, but just that aizawa would be more in charge (especially during sex ;3) and tenya is 100% a-okay with letting him do that. i think tenya would also possibly be really into taking care of aizawa :). so, not the healthiest relationship, but i think they'd be alright!

uraraka/aizawa
