I've been on Tumblr a little while now and I gather this is like, "the monsterfucker site"? I was pondering on this today, and realised I consider drow to be on the monstrous end but a regular elf wouldn't be, and I think of an ensouled "good" vampire (like Angel from BtvS) as a non-monster, but Spike would definitely be on the monstrous side.

Please reblog for sample size? This is entirely to fulfil my own curiosity. I expect most people will tap out at level 1 or 2, but who knows!

For the next Fic Finder, I read this long time ago and can't remember the title but it was a long fic (one shot) and I remember it was an AU (kinda futuristic from what I remember) where Wei Ying was a werewolf shifter and he was on the run when he got transported/summoned to another world by some mages Lan Zhan being among them when he first came to the new world. There's some magic academy mystery they needed his help with and in the end Wei Ying stays in the new world with Lan Zhan. I also remember towards the end, the reason Lan Zhan was involved and so intrigued by Wei Ying because his brother turned into a werewolf but with none of his humanity and he was trying to find a solution to save him. Wei Ying was helping with him when he went back with Lan Zhan to his home.

Fic Finder ask: Idr anything else, but I vividly remember this one paragraph where WWX and LWJ were in a relationship(I think it was young love but it might not have been, I just remember picturing them very young and wwx in his og body) and WWX was working hard on something(I think it was talisman related but that’s also a variable)and to take a break from it he’d turn to LWJ and jump him req-ing “rape” which was just shorthand for woo hoo with cannon kinks.(which was explained in the text)

7. Hi!! I've looked for this fic on ao3 and my bookmarks list but I was unable to find it, maybe I've been filtering with wrong tags or keywords.

But from what I remember, it was an au where if you love someone enough, the first time you touch them you leave a colored mark on them. Wwx has left his signature red on most people, but has never had any marks left on him, not even from jyl. So he always covers himself up and wears gloves, accepting he'd never be loved, until of course Lwj leaves a blue hand print on him. It isn't a soulmate au though, I don't exactly remember if it was canon settings or modern settings.

8. Hi! There is a fic that i want to read again. The problem is, not only i don't remember much of the story, i don't know if this fic is from this fandom or detective conan. But i'm sure it's from this fandom. It's modern au where there are serial killer on the loose. WWX investigate it. He has an ability to see the corpse's past (i think he has an ability? Not sure about this part). But even with his ability, he can't solve it. There are connection between the victim. Their connection is the next victim is the one that found the previous victim (again i'm not sure if it only the one that found the body or other witnesses too). The state of their body is brutal. There are some evidence of torture. WWX investigate this until he become the target because he found the newest victim. I think he was kidnapped and when he wake up he is in a room. I don't know how to explain it but he tried to escape like the previous victims but the room or more like the place he was in is full of trap. If you ever watch danganronpa v3 side despair, the place is similar to when Nanami Chiaki died. Thats all i can remember. I trully hope its not my imagination. 12. Hi, I'm hoping you can help me find this fic. It takes place during the Cloud Recess study arc. I remember the Jiang's arrive at Cloud Recess to discuss Wei Wuxian marrying Lan Wangji. ☆ summary: You had been living your best life in Stonemill for a little over half a decade by now. A lone shewolf living in the town and working at the local bar, surrounded by a lush nature to roam through at night, a perfect piece of Paradise in Montana. A place you DO'NT want to share with any other werewolves. So, when a group of men turns up, buying a big house and stinking of alpha werewolves, you're territory is threatened - and these men doesn't seem to get it into their thick heads, that they need to leave. In fact, the assholes become rather interested in you, trying to get you to join their pack. You just want them to leave, one way or another - but it seems like they won't take no for an answer.

Nestled in between mountains, with trees curling along the roads and fields, the forest caressed the edges of the little town Stonemill. With a small watermill, creating a constant humm of water around the houses, with the stream intertwining the small gardens. It was a quiet town, with at most 150 townsfolk, the farmers living at the edges and with a lush local life.

That was why you liked Stonemill. You hadn’t grown up here, but found it randomly, once you grew old enough to find your own place. By now you had lived there for years, arriving once you were 21 and 5 years later, you still couldn’t imagine moving.

You had everything you needed. A social life, a nice workplace, time to read and do what you wanted, the opportunity to roam the rich nature around you in peace. Sure, a lack of a love life, but you didn’t mind that. A lone wolf, enjoying her life, one could say.

And your wolf was enjoying the freedom in the nature around her. Without any other werewolves, shifters, whatever terms people used for your kind, you didn’t have to bother protecting it that often. Twice, other wolves had passed by, but always left, not fighting over the land. An angry, lone omega weren’t to be messed with.

It wasn’t unusual for a wolf to live alone necessarily, especially since it was common to leave your parent pack in your early twenties, to find somewhere to settle on your own. You had done just that, but in contrast to your two siblings, you hadn’t found any partners yet. 

Despite the respective house owners and farmers, you considered yourself the owner of the area, whether people knew it or not. This was your territory - and your wolf was known in the area.

The locals didn’t mind you, not even the farmers, since you dutifully kept away from their livestock. You tried not to attract too much attention while in your wolf form, but there had arisen a little cult following around your wolf, much to your confusion and displeasure. It started around four years ago, when you saved a woman from an aggressive moose that had gotten into the streets somehow. You had chased out the moose, hoping nobody would believe the woman - sadly, you lived in the age of technology and when working at the local bar the next day, you were shown the security footage by several people. Ever since that people would whisper if they saw you roam the streets, trying to keep in the shadows while you walked to the forest. At least people tended to leave you alone in your wolf-form. 

You were happy. Working at the bar kept you busy, roaming the forest at night kept your wolf sated. 

… That was until they appeared.

“It’s a wonderful place, Captain!” Nikolai declared, “Forest and mountains - perfect place for all of you to settle down!”

“Wasn’t it like 10 years since you drove through the place?” Gaz asked, still skeptical about the idea. He would follow his pack of course, no doubt about it - he loved them all too much, his wolf was like a lovesick puppy around the others. They were all alphas, an unusual group in that sense, without any betas or omega members. Which had also made them such an effective team, aggressive and close to each other. But damn if Gaz didn’t dream of an omega or beta sometimes… Of pups, of their pack becoming bigger.

“yes, yes, but that is besides the point, my friend!” Nikolai brushed his criticism off easily, making Gaz roll his eyes. But he could smell the happiness coming off Price - he knew his captain too well. He had already decided, already fallen in love with the legendary Stonemill. 

“Why America?” Soap whined, who knew for what time, even pouting a little, “they dinnae even have good food.” Gaz clapped him on the shoulder.

“Blendin’ in, Johnny,” Ghost gruffed next to him, giving him a little annoyed stare, “Your furry ass won’t be anythin’ special in the states.”

“Thought ye liked my arse, L.T,” Soap answered while battering his eyelashes at the bigger werewolf, making all the other men roll their eyes, Gaz included.

“If we even want to hope finding our own territory, where random wolves won’t raise too many questions, we need to find somewhere else,” Price pointed out, taking another drag of the cigar, Gaz watching the way his lips closed around the cigar for a moment, “Nikolai’s idea doesn’t sound bad.”

“And if there already is a pack?” Ghost asked, something dark in his tone that Gaz recognized. It always appeared when Ghost had to find out how violent he could be on the missions.

“Then we figure out whether we’re killin’ or chasing off,” Price said with a shrug, dark words said nonchalantly. Gaz didn’t even need to see Ghost without his mask, to know that a grin grew on his face. The way they both talked about this, about fighting for the pack, made Gaz want to suck their dicks.

Retiring this early hadn’t necessarily been Gaz’ plan, but John was getting older and Soap’s knee was getting worse. The mere thought of being in the field without his two pack members made the werewolf want to throw up.

A dark need grew beneath his skin. The urge to find a perfect place for them all, killing if they needed to. He would rip limb from limb, ruin people’s lives, making the world around him a living hell, just for his men.

Most werewolves knew not to fuck with four alpha men in a pack, but sometimes they did anyways - and it almost always ended bloody. Rumors were crawling between the walls of the base now too, of them not being entirely human - but it was mostly just ignored. The few who weren’t human themselves knew the instant they got close to the base. The same people tended to make themselves scarce whenever the 141 were around, knowing they were in their territory anyways.

Nikolai and Price continued to talk, but the voices blended together.

Somewhere new would be a clean slate too in that sense, he supposed. 

Gaz could feel the urge to change, to let his wolf take over at the idea of running through the forest freely. For his hands and feet to change into paws and get the opportunity to just roam.

There had never been much space in the UK, one always had to be careful and in the bigger city, a new werewolf culture was growing, of several packs living in one territory without one being more important than the others.. No, no, Gaz wanted to run free with his pack, wanted to kill prey with his teeth, taste the blood on his tongue, wanted to —

“Earth to Garrick.” Ghost’s dry words and the snapping in front of his face earned a little growl, but from the crow's feet around his eyes, Gaz knew Ghost was smiling. Asshole.

“What?”

“Thought we lost you there,” Ghost hummed.

“No.” He grunted, a little embarrassment crawling along his spine at the thought of having to admit to his daydreams. Despite everything they had gone through, the pack tended to consider him the least dangerous, teasing him for his day dreaming now and again. Gaz wasn't going to give his three lovers more ammunition.

“I just said that Laswell will have our papers ready soon, Kyle,” Price softly rumbled as he stepped closer, free hand gently running along his cheek, the other holding the cigar. Gaz leaned into the touch, eyelids half closed, letting out a little pleased sound. Thoughts rushing through faster before saying,

What drew you to this event?

Well, I was psyched to be part of something with so many other friends and fic writers I was just getting to know back when the first CSSNS happened, and I was also excited for the possibility of more werewolf CS stories!

What inspired your topic?

I have always loved the original Dracula novel (movie versions, not so much 🫣) and I am actually dumbfounded I never thought of trying it before. Thanks to @kmomof4 for planting the idea in my head, because I didn’t actually know what I was going to do this year before that moment!

Emma craned her neck to peer out the small window of the carriage into the black darkness encroaching on all sides as the conveyance careened around sharp curves and stark cliff faces in a way that made her stomach pitch and put her heart in her throat. More than once, her mouth opened to call to the driver, to beg him to slow down, but each time a sudden jolt or swerve had her clenching her teeth and swallowing the words back as she gripped the seat. Pitching wildly from one side of the bench to the other, Emma nearly toppled to the floor repeatedly as they sped on.

The torches at the side of the carriage doors flickered wildly behind their glass sconces, but barely even made pinpricks in the heavily encroaching night all around them; deep blackness which had seemingly swallowed them ever since they left the small gypsy outpost where they had supped just an hour past. Realizing belatedly that she was only becoming more overwrought and anxious the longer they hurtled forward, she tried to lean her head back against the seat and close her eyes rather than staring blindly into nothing, resolutely forcing deep, calming breaths as she did.

Scant moments passed in such a manner before Emma felt her racing heartbeat slow, at least a bit. It was then that a different sort of thrill ran along her spine - different from the chill which had settled over her skin with the horrifying loss of Aurora’s sweet, innocent life and the eerie foreboding which had accompanied her since setting out on this final leg of her path toward the perpetrator of her younger friend’s downfall. This determined trek higher and higher into the isolated Carpathian range seemed weighed more heavily on her spirit with every mile they gained. But they were close now. She could feel it.

Still, regardless of the tightening pit in her stomach and the anxious flutter of her pulse, Emma would not fail to accomplish her part in Killian’s plan. None of them would. They had taken solemn vows. Each one of their number had a role to play. And she was the bait…

I have beta read for CSSNS the last couple summers, and I also occasionally beta for individuals when asked. I really enjoy being part of a story as it is being formed, and getting to talk with another author along the way about ideas, their process, etc.

What are you looking forward to most about participating in this event?

Still here and writing ✍️

Happy New Year 2024!! 

First of all, I want to take this chance to thank everyone for all of their love and support. I know that I am barely present as of late, due to life getting in the way of my love for writing and being emotional for watching the boys enlisting. But thanks to you who are still following me and the new ones who have just found me, you became the reason why I’m still here and sharing my content with you all. 

Last year was rough for most of us. I witnessed a lot of authors stepping back due to having creative blocks or having big changes in life and priorities. I know because I had my own struggles throughout the year 2023. From losing my dearest pet, to moving to a new place and taking time adjusting, starting a new job, and I’ve also been busy planning for new things that I’ll be starting this year. Watch out for some good news that I’ll be sharing soon!

Though I might be busy with other endeavours, I will still be writing. My absence might get a bit more prominent at the start of the year, but I promise I’m not going anywhere. You might see me reorganising some stuff (my blog, Patreon, ko-fi) as I’m making changes here and there to create a more comfortable creative space for myself. I’m also determined to finish some of my long-awaited series, release some fic commissions that I finished last year but have yet to publish, and perhaps bring back some stories that are readers’ favourite.

As always, you can follow my writing progress and journey through my Schedule Post and my writing journal which you can find on Patreon. And for a bonus, you can take a sneak peek of the stories that I’m working on below. Just so you’ll know what to expect in the near future.

12 days of fandom - day 7

I want to spotlight a few WIPs that aren't finished yet, which means we've got something to look forward to in 2024 :)

To me, it's really important to read and celebrate WIPs as well as completed fics. I know that it can be really disheartening to be writing a fic and posting it and not feel like people are reading it or enjoying it because there's been a shift in fandom toward only reading completed works. Read some WIPs people! It's like getting a little gift every time a new chapter comes out. I've waited years between chapters and get so excited when new ones come out. Just don't be an asshole and pester the author about when the next chapter is coming.

Eddie doesn't know they're shifters, they don't know he is (besides Bobby because Bobby knows all). Except there's more to the story... a connection between Buck and Eddie that goes back to childhood. I LOVE THIS FIC. I'm living for the updates. It's so fun.

I've loved getting the update emails!

Maybe More Than I Should by Leslie_Knope Mature || 39k || 4/5 chapters Teacher!Buck!!! This fic is SO DAMN GOOD. Buck is Christopher's teacher, he and Eddie end up becoming friends and maybe they're on their way to something more once Chris isn't one of Buck's students. Featuring divorced Eddie and Shannon working on how to co-parent, the firefam, and so a truly wonderful exploration of Buck and Eddie's friendship.

Sy, thank you! Since you specifically referenced worlds, here's my top 5 world-building/AU WIPs. (I love them all equally, though. Okay?)

Feylands - I've spent so much time on worldbuilding here. It keeps getting more intense lol. Magic, royalty lineage, staff hierarchy, technology, botany - I get to play with all these fun nuanced pieces that all influence the world(s) I'm building in this story. I'm hoping for the possibility of playing more in this universe when I'm done with the main story. (This means smut, mostly.😉)

The Contract - @pfhwrittes blew it out of the park helping me develop this one. This world keeps expanding too, but in a different way. There's a universe to tell different stories in here, which ought to be fun. It's definitely a wee bit darker than Feylands, but just as good.

Call of the Wild - Would you believe me if I said this one came from a dream? Well..parts of it. I'm kind of making up the lore on the fly for the werewolves/shifters, so it's not as detailed for lore as other stories. Will my brit-picker absolutely lose their mind when they read it? Probably.😅 But it's a different universe! Lightly inspired by @deadbranch's Werewolf AU. (<- So good. Go read it. All of it.)

Journal Exchange - Six planets formed. Entire resource and processing plans are being developed. Societal structures built out of what little's given in Prospect (highly recommend watching if you like sci-fi) and expanded it into a universe. I want to get back to this one, even if the style (journals sent to an individual) is difficult to write.

Palace Hallways - An as-of-yet unshared WIP. Inspired by @sentientcave's Heavy Weighs The Crown WIP and some ideas that have been floating around in my brain soup. Lady-in-Waiting 'Petal' is menaced by Knight Kyle, Artificer Johnny and Druid 'Ghost' assist. Playing fast and loose with historical fiction and D&D lore. (I have a thing for Gaz x Soap x Ghost x OC, okay? That's two now.)
