These game premises (and the way people who don't always cooperate together play them) feel kinda plural to me

Love the fact that the Dan and Phil fandom (phandom) just puts a "ph" in front of anything related to them.

Started out with "phandom," reasonable enough.

But now we have phnudes?? The PHIVORCE?? the phouse. Phil's phat ass. the phish (rest in phease, Norman).

If they got a dog people would begin calling it the Phog I mean COME ON

Alright then, here's the characters, the weapons they use (that's a contributing factor, I'd say), and some details whenever I consider it necessary.

First off, Gwin Evans, 24 years old who uses long swords and assault rifles:

Doug Barret, 30 years old, who uses photon sabres (basically light sabres) and rayguns (also, voiced by Patrick Seitz)

Lao, 31 years old, the Sad™ widower who uses a sniper rifle and javelin (voiced by Matt Mercer)

L'cirufe, the tallest playable character bar none, who uses shields and psycho launchers (kinda like the orbitars in KIU)

Kentaro Nagi, 57 years old, who wields longswords and gattlings guns - the resident Dunban-like swordmaster

Phog Christoph, 24 years old, who uses dual swords and dual guns (also very likely neurodivergent)

Frye Christoph, 30 years old, older brother of Phog, uses gattling guns and longswords, enjoys drinking about as much as Gregor Fire Emblem

Hector Bumwhistle Birthwhistle, or H.B. for short, 28 years old, uses shields and assault rifles

Also of note with H.B. is the Superior Form™:

Bozé Lowes, 54 years old, uses javelins and sniper rifles. Also derogatory, personally.

Yelv (just Yelv, really), 22 years old, uses photon sabres and rayguns. Also enthusiastically calls the player avatar "pardner".

And lastly, Jack Vandham, who's not actually playable and 48 years old.

This is the second time I am answering this because my workplace wifi died as I was publishing it. These are my ratings, which don't mean anything, followed by short commentary.

Gwin: Very Fuckable, acts like he wants to be friends with benefits but always catches feelings. Would I reciprocate? Who knows?

Doug: HOT, we love a guy with a deep voice and light sabers and big guns. It does not get better than that. Hung and everyone can tell.

Lao: Not My Type, but I can easily see him causing multiple fans some terrible mental illnesses. "How big is that dick?" "Small, leave me alone"-type of guy.

L'cirufe: Attractive, monster fans need their rights respected. His face card is NOT declining.

Nagi: HOT. Resident old man whose cervix is being done crazy things to on twitter (or should be). Hung and don't ask me how I can tell.

Phoggot: Eh. Good for him on the neurodivergence but you can meet multiple twinks who look like him at any nightclub.

Frye: Intriguing, looks like someone who lead an interesting life and could surprise you in bed. Further research is needed.

Hbirthwhistleguy: Not My Type, but I'm sure he has quite a reach with fans. I support his Bayonetta 2 cosplay endeavors.

Bozé: Eh, this man will leave you and pretend the child isn't his. Have I played this game and do I know what this guy is about? No, but it had to be said.

Yelv: No, thank you. We have Shulk at home. That man is not 22.

Jack: I Love Arm. I could see him being a secret softie in bed. Spoils you to make up for feelings of inadequacy.

Twinsanity Acappella

Was somehow able to talk to both of my parents (separately) about video game music and sound design, the state of Crash Bandicoot, game industry, game fidelity, polygons, and Nintendo as a company. Just the other day I was thinking "Wow, Super Mario 64 spawned a whole wave 3D platformers in the late 90s that as a whole are very fondly remembered, except Donkey Kong 64, and then every else tried to capitalise too late during the 6th console generation. Now however, only Mario and Sonic that both a) consistently make 3D platformers and b) have a lot of supplemental material in between those releases. There's only really been remakes and indie hits, 'A Hat in Time', 'Super Lucky's Tail', (and somehow Spongebob) although the PS5 are using their IPs for 3D platformers so we'll have to wait and see how all of those pan out. Still, the big players would be Mario and Sonic. Who would be number 3? Why, Crash Bandicoot, of course! "Nitro-Fueled' is the best kart racer (bar Mario Kart DS and Wii). 'It's About Time' was fantastic and only needs some work on making completing the game better, fleshing out other play-styles, and fixing the double jump. Hopefully they take inspiration from Twinsanity. I love Coco's new design, I'm so hopeful!" Yes, I thought all of this. Yes, I am the maddest I have been over a video game. The third pillar is, sadly, no longer Crash Bandicoot but Ratchet & Clank.

I choose to look on the bright side instead. Hell Pie, Super Lucky's Tale, Yooka-Laylee, What Lies Between, Mail Mole, Nottolot, Boomeroad, Candleman, A Hat in Time replay, Sonic Heroes, Jak & Daxter, Crash Twinsanity, Frogun, Half-Life: Opposing Force replay, Phogs, Sonic Adventure 1 + 2, No Straight Roads, Penny's Big Breakaway, Pac-Man World, SCHiM, Mekazoo, Super Sami Roll, Lunistice, Super Kiwi 64, Kao 4, Corn Kidz 64, and, if I can get it running, Psychonauts 2. These are all games I own or could get very easily. Then there's Sly Cooper and Ratchet & Clank. Now to be a downer, they are probably going to suck as a whole. A bit of a Pikmin 4 effect but my standards are too high, despite loving 'The Simpsons Game' and 'Epic Mickey'. But I will say, from what I've played and somehow it's almost been a year!, 'What Lies Between' is fantastic. If you somehow read this and like 3D platformers get 'What Lies Between' on Steam. Also, Spyro the Dragon sucks, that's why he wasn't considered as a pillar of 3D platforming. The first one is baby's first platformer and the next two are somehow worse. But actually I'm just going to master every racing game I own instead. I watched the Sonic 3 trailer and my only thought is that it is really funny that they tried to epicify the 'Green Hill' theme.

Hello my dearest ghouls and monsters

Hey everyone I'm so sorry I disappeared off the face of the planet for a long time. I'm so sorry if anyone felt like I've abandoned them or if they did something to make me disappear. It was nothing any of you did first and foremost.

What started as a break from social media during a move snowballed into real life adulting and trying to figure out how to pay a mortgage on our first "home" (a newer 2 bedroom trailer) and then became one of my irl friends finding Strange Love in my Drive open on my laptop while we were smoking together one night and sending it to all of our mutual friends. They made fun of me like I was in high school again and it triggered a bad, bad part of my past for me when someone in eighth grade found my fanfic I wrote about the popular kids at school and called me a freak for the rest of my junior high education. So naturally, I cut off Tumblr as a whole and lost the want or desire to write anything ever again.

Spring made it where I just isolated myself away from everything. The only time I would leave the house outside of work was to go see movies with my husband and eventually a trivia night with a new group of people.

In May, my husband went to the dog park with two dogs and came back with three. He had adopted a purebred year and a half year old siberian husky named Phog who we had met all of maybe 3 times at the dog park. We are his FIFTH home and his final one if we have anything to say about it.

I turned 30 the next month on June 26th and had a mental breakdown about my life track (which is apparently normal). In July, I started to attend a horror/mystery book club at the local library and started to read a ton of amazing books that were brilliantly written and it started to turn the wheels in my brain about plot lines again. When out at a comic shop with my brother and my husband, I saw a graphic novel copy of After and I honestly laughed. I laughed because for weeks I had been explaining to my husband about my emotions when I was reading After as a fangirl back in the day and I missed that feeling. I started to get the weird inkling that I wanted to try and write again. Someday.

Which brings us to Strange Love. I have plans to eventually finish it. I have it plotted to the point where Eddie and Y/N finally get together and with a lot of thought, it'll end there. You all deserve an ending to that before I try to move on from something else.

I'm going to make a conscious effort to be here and be present more. I'm going to answer all of my messages and anon messages before and during my shift at work tonight. Lastly, I want you all to know I love you so so much. I thought about a lot of you often and tried to wish the best vibes your way while I was away.
