There's this cul-de-sac out on Benson where they started building a new subdivision. It was going to be this nice low-income, very fair on credit, new homeowners thing. Lotta young couples came to check it out. Kids with kids.

They'd finished the show houses and had foundations poured and frames up for every available home. Everything was looking great. My cousin almost got in.

Anyway, turned out it was a scam. Funding got pulled at the last second via some tax loophole and they pocketed the down-payments. Fucked off to Brazil. Didn't even pay the contractors, so they walked.

I never heard what came of the lawsuits, but if you go out there at midnight, you can see the ghosts of could've been.

Do not do this alone. Three friend minimum. Get a long camping rope and tie it round your midsection. Friends stay on the corner and feed you out. You go out to the middle of the big circle and lay down.

Meditate. This part is up to you. Need some music, some medication, medication, whatever; get fazed and chill. Let it get real quiet and it'll come to you.
