SAW THE BOOK OF MORMON ON TOUR LAST NIGHT IN PHILLY!!!
little debrief/review post 😛
Bought these tickets for $30 right after i saw it on west end, was originally going to take my brother but he didn’t want to go so i brought my friend lol (thanks anna i hope you had a good time 😋)
bought the enamel pin set! its now on my updated TBOM/matt stone trey parker shrine lol. I wanted to buy a shirt for when I go in January but they were all so expensive!! does anyone have any like shirts on etsy or redbubble recommendations?
Anyway rest of post below cut! Some photos and videos as always!
- The show was still fantastic as always but I definitely did not have as good a time as i did on west end- my seats were allllll the way back
I kinda felt like i was dreaming through the show, i had to squint to see and the seats were so small and everyone around me smelled like alcohol 😭
- The highlight of the show was absolutely Diego Enrico as elder cunningham. He was so good and so so so fun to watch and he is so cute lol
- i felt like the only characters I could connect to were cunningham, nabulungi, and the doctor/gotswana for some reason?? like they were the only characters that i was really really excited to watch
I know price is the leading man but i feel like I barely saw him- idk if I just was zoning out when he was on stage, he was still amazing, I just felt like this watch around he was more of an accessory to cunningham and his arc than his own independent thing. His most memorable moment in the show for me was end of i believe and his part in I am Africa (and anna’s reaction to that was priceless her mouth was wide open 😭) also the intro to and all of smhd
Also- mckinley- he is usually like one of if not my favorite character and i BARELY got to see him I was trying so hard to pay attention and stay invested but like i was not getting anything i could barely see him 😭 for some reason he did not feel like a main character at all in this performance and I have no idea why (maybe because i was so far away?) i was so sad about it lol- craig was wonderful though and his voice is heavenly and it was not his performance at all
- in the mission hut, instead of the couch, there was just a bunch of old office chairs?? did they change the set or is it just for the touring productions?
- the little golden moroni at the top of the stage didn’t move :(
- on occasion they had the lights go out into the audience and it was really cool/pretty
- fun overhead spotlights!! people who were doing handheld face on spotlights sometimes forgot to turn them on though so sometimes people would just be like… half in the dark
- being so high up i got to see a lot of the blocking and formation I hadn’t seen before, that was really cool. The dances looked great from so up high!! There were even parts of the show I didn’t even know there was dancing I finally got to see so that was cool
- the villagers were the other highlight of this. They were so fun to watch and so funny and I loved them so much. JSAM I think was my favorite part of the show it was so great
- sam (elder price) was like just a tiny tiny bit flat at some parts on occasion? I feel bad for saying this lol. he sounded fantastic most of the time though! His acting and dancing were flawless though, I loved watching him in AAP and SMHD specifically
- there was no mcpriceley in this like AT ALL and I missed the mcpriceley almost kiss AGAIN erghhhh idk how it keeps happening 😭
they were leaning into pricingham a lot and at the end price picked him up and like twirled him around it was really cute lol
- felt like the arnaba chemistry was more platonic than romantic but idk 🤷♀️🤷♀️
OKOK stage door!!
This was the best part of this whole thing everyone was so nice and I had so much fun
I gave out the tbom themed friendship bracelets I made and they all really liked them 😋😋
they were like all surprised to get them too lol 😭
Me and my BESTIE 💜 diego ENRICO 💜
and me and pookie sam mclellan 😭 I accidentally got sharpie on his hand and flannel I felt so bad
i keep embarrassing myself in front of elder mckinelys bc i gave my orlando bracelet to craig (i was giving them out at random and at that point i wasn’t sure if sam was coming out) and i was like “look it has the fancy charms!” this man just blank stares at me and is like “😀 wow!! 😀 ill take this to orlando with me when we go there in a few weeks! 😀” and then i was like “cool!! some of my friends are going to see you guys in orlando!” and he continues to stare blankly and smile at me until i asked him for a picture. i was dying. pj when i come to new york i promise i will try to have a normal conversation with you 🩷
and ill reblog this with some more pics bc i reached the limit lol
stage dooring was my favorite part, and i am SOOOOO excited for January!!! 😋😋

I think an underrated genre of ship is the ones that exist pretty much entirely because they're two of the only semi-developed characters and the fandom's main ship is one that you just don't mess with, so these two are just always also dating in the background of fics about the main ship.
Churchtarts. This post is about churchtarts. You don't fuck with mcpriceley, arnold x nabulungi is basically canon and these two are like the only other missionaries who come close to being actual characters, and even then, all we know about Church is that his dad used to beat his mom, and all we know about Thomas is that he likes pop tarts, his sister died from cancer and he missed it because he was at the apple store, and he's probably Mckinley's companion.
I'm like 90% sure they never interact within the musical but they're always together in the background of like every Mcpriceley fic, and I love that.

Best WE Elder Price and Cunningham and Nabulungi
Id have to say the current ish cast!!
i am awful at telling whether a cast is broadway or west end so bare with me
I think for Elder Price i have to say Dom Simpson, im probably biased since he was the first elder price i ever saw but i do just love him. he has a nice voice and i love how he portrays kevin
I LOVE Connor Pierson as Elder Cunningham… he’s so silly and i love him so so much. Again i’m biased he was also the first cunningham i saw
Nabulungi is such a hard decision because i don’t think i’ve ever seen a performance of her that hasn’t been 10/10 stunning. If someone FORCED me to choose one i would probably say Leanne Robinson, she just has a really pretty voice..
I know you didn’t ask about McKinley but. uhm. i don’t care. I am a stevie webb mckinley truther he’s my favourite mckinley out of every other mckinley he’s just so silly and has such a good vibe

My honest review of the book of mormon, and musings about south park:
my grandmother took me to see the book of mormon on broadway tonight, bless her heart... i don't recommend seeing TBOM with your grandparents, by the way. i mean, mine is cool, but on principle...
anyway, i had never seen the show or listened to the soundtrack before, only heard good things about it ("it's funny/really good") and knew it was created by matt stone and trey parker- i went in basically blind. coming into the theater, i didn't have any expectations, because as a creator i don't want people to base their expectations of my work on what i'm known for. i don't want people to crack open something like love me dead expecting my little mikey.
so i went in expecting nothing. maybe a more serious narrative than i should have expected from matt stone and trey parker. not anything negative about the mormon church, because at one point in time i'd seen every single episode of south park ever aired and they make it clear they have no ill will toward the so-called church minus thinking their beliefs are silly.
so, anyway, i sat down and watched a two-hour long south park episode performed live on stage.
i stopped watching south park at some point because i just felt the humor became too topical, too on-the-nose. older south park episodes very rarely felt they were satirizing a specific news story or scandal, and then we got an entire season about the 2016 election. it really wasn't my cup of tea and turned me off of the show entirely.
watching the book of mormon tonight really brought that joy to me again, of turning on an old south park episode for the first time and laughing your 12-year-old ass off at the crude humor. it was so random, so fucking ridiculous. i was in tears. toward the beginning, i found myself critiquing things- the stereotyped portrayal of africa that we've all seen a million times when africa is, largely, much more developed than western media gives it credit for [and not to claim that none of the problems the play portrays exist in real-life africa, it is a vast continent after all. but when real-life africans get asked shit like "where do you get phones" "where do you get clothes", we can all agree it's an annoying and tired trope], but by the second act they practically spelled it out for me. it's a farce. none of it exists to inform you or be taken seriously.
while some of the jokes are punching down and not in good spirit even with this reading (namely, the gag of elder cunningham forgetting nabulungi's name... though i wonder if it was meant to riff off the joke we all make about forgetting bagel coreograph's* name and didn't land well just because of the character they chose for it being an african woman) it's that same "it's fiction, it exists to laugh at, and if you think it represents reality that's your gullibility" mentality i like to stick by that lets me sit with it. i think it's just as funny as old south park episodes were then, just as offensive too- i'm more mature now and can't find it quite as funny although i still enjoyed the show.
the actors were all fantastic. cody strand was perfect in the role of elder cunningham, and kim exum's voice was incredible. all the ensemble members shone, too! on the technical side, i want to shout out the lightwork for the show. particularly during "you and me (but mostly me)"... there was a part where the lights fanned out from the stage and engulfed the entire theater- the effect was incredible.
and i couldn't find anywhere in the post to fit this, but i do want to point out a few disability and accomodation things for anyone considering seeing the show on broadway- the theater has no elevator, which was a little hard on my grandmother (as we had mezzanine seats). there were augmented listening devices and closed captions available, and i took advantage of both; the listening device was a little uncomfortable to wear, but i could hear much better with it- though the signal was a tad finnicky. the captions were spot-on, though sometimes they updated too quickly or not quickly enough. overall, the theater is working with what they have, but i do hope the accomodations improve in the future. and the show itself, of course, is definitely for those who like nonsense humor and don't mind being offended- anyone who likes south park will probably like the book of mormon.

hello its the anon who saw book of mormon back. it was REALLY good! prob one of the best experiences of my life actually. it was the first "real" show i ever got to see, and im sooo happy it was bom. cast was sam mclellan as kevin, sam nackman as arnold, berlande as nabulungi and sean casey flannagan as mckinley. for some reason they came to my city instead of the capital city (dont ask me why but WIN) and my friend just so happened to have two tickets and invite me. they were like "im going u should come!!!" and i was like "great how much are tickets" "i have two" "oh thats cool. do u know the website i can buy them at" "i got them to take a friend" "........thats nice" "omg. anon do you want the extra ticket" "YES SORRY DIDNT WANT TO BE RUDE" so i got to see it for free as well which was very nice cos im broke atm. biggest notable thing i can think of was that they changed "listen to the fat white guy" to "listen to the whi-ite guy" and that mckinleys helldream costume was COOL. 99% of everything looked like broadway though. the set was nearly the exact same, costumes were lovely, barely any changes to stuff and the stage decorations itself were p much perfect to how they look on broadway it was GORGEOUS. the guy who played mckinley though was perfect, got his character down to a TEE. also took the "kinda canon crush on price thing" into account which made the interactions they had hilariously perfect.
but yeah its made my old love for it kick right back up again and im currently writing a fanfic sigh. theres like no fic content for it and even less that cater to my needs so here i am 🤍 but yeah. thank you for asking about it ive been wanting to scream about it
IM SO GLAD YOU HAD SO MUCH FUN <3333

Excerpt from the 1970′s mercenary au bom fic I’m writing:
Chapter ? - Moon River
The car ride was silent, save for the occasoínal directions from Nabulungi. Kevin looked at her out of the corner of his eye. A pleasant smile had laid itself upon her lips, curled upwards towards her eyes that spoke of nothing but pure, unadulterated anticipation and joy. It was contagious and Kevin, despite his previous unease, found himself loosening up and allowed himself to smile as well. Nabulungi seemed to have that effect on people.
“Turn left here,” she said.
Obeying, Kevin pulled into a small parking lot surrounded by trees. He had no idea where they were, merely a suspicion, and said suspicion was confirmed once he stepped out of the car. The smell of salt and seaweed hit his senses, not like a brick, but in a soothing, quiet way that made his chest feel heavy. He had only been to the beach once in his life.
“Are you coming?” Kevin had almost forgotten Nabulungi’s presence. He turned around and found her standing barefoot, shoes in hand, waiting for him. He had not even heard her close her car door. “It is okay if you do not want to go down there-” she motioned towards what Kevin could only assume was the beach- “but it is nicer than here. I do not like the shadows.”
There were, in fact, many shadows, cast by the trees and the moon and dancing in the gentle breeze. He did not want to stay here alone. With Nabulungi? Maybe. Without her? No.
“Should I take off my shoes as well?” he asked. She nodded.
Kevin felt the same ease as he had in the car as he knelt on the ground to work on his shoelaces. He felt good in Nabulungi’s company, a silent flutter in his chest at the admission of that to himself. This was the first time in forever he had let someone take him to an unknown location alone, and he mused why Nabulungi, of all people, was the person to do so. More than anything, he concluded, it was because he did not feel threatened by her - Nabulungi was peaceful in a way he had never experienced a person before. Everyone always had an ulterior motive, but not Nabulungi. Nabulungi simply was and Kevin appreciated that more than he let on.
Once he too stood with his shoes in hand - the expensive oxfords - Nabulungi extended a hand towards him, palm open and flat - inviting. “Will you walk with me?” she asked, her visage illuminated by the moonlight. She looked at him with warmth and a quiet impatience. Swallowing, his throat suddenly dry, Kevin took her hand; it was dry and a bit rough, calloused from work. She was gentle with her touch, cautious as if she was afraid holding his hand too hard would break it. Normally Kevin would have taken offense to that, but he did not. He found that he enjoyed holding her hand - it brought a certain form of stability he could not name with words, but it was cathartic in a way that made the heaviness in his chest lighten and the corners of his lips quirk upwards. She squeezed his hand and he squeezed back. He did not say anything, but let her guide him through the terrain, the ground beneath their naked feet switching from gravel to grass to sand.
He was trailing behind her, let her take charge - she was familiar here and she knew the way better than him.
On the beach, soft waves were lapping at the shore, going back and forth in an endless cycle of a fruitless attempt at swallowing the earth. “This-” Nabulungi said, letting go of Kevin’s hand and pointing towards the dark water- “this is my favorite place in the whole world.” Kevin’s eyes widened. She was showing him her sanctuary, was she not? He already missed the warmth of her hand in his. “I like to be here when I feel down because then I can look at the ocean and remind myself that I am not the only one who is blue.” She giggled a bit at that and Kevin’s did not know what to say.
It was overwhelming for Kevin, foreign in a way that made it difficult for him to decide whether it was pleasant or not - he did not understand her willingness to expose herself for him, her admission of the weakness Kevin knew sorrow brought. She was letting him see the edges beneath her softness.
Softness was not something people had ever let Kevin see.
His eyes dropped to the ground and watched himself bury his toes in the white sand. He could never do the same. He would never return such a gesture. He had promised himself. “Why did you bring me here?” was all he said. He licked his lips as he felt her gaze on him, but did not lift his eyes to gaze back.
There was a pause, hesitance, and that was strange for Nabulungi. He turned his head and watched her face: a small, sad smile had taken place on it. It did not belong there. Then she closed her eyes and turned her face towards the moon, letting its rays dance across her face.
Nabulungi was, well, breathtaking, Kevin noted. The way she stood in her simple dress and bare feet, face turned upwards towards the dark, starlit sky, and her hair gently swaying in the wind, the shadows of her eyelashes cast upon her cheekbones - she was elegant and delicate. Then she opened her eyes and stared back at him, her bright, brown, honest eyes leaving Kevin’s mind blank as she turned ethereal and intolerably beautiful. When she spoke, it was with a calm, even voice.
“You seem lonely.”
His answer was immediate. “I like solitude.” He hesitated, then continued. “It brings clarity.”
“Yes, well- you are so clear I am afraid you might disappear.”
Kevin did not know how to respond to that. Maybe it was true - maybe he was starting to disappear, flash between reality and some other abstract concept. That would not be out of character for him at all.
Then Nabulungi started to shed her dress.
It took Kevin aback and he averted his eyes, the heat in his cheeks betraying his embarrassment. He hoped it was too dark for her to notice. “Are you going to swim?” he asked, licking his lips again.
“Yes,” she replied, “You do not have to join me, but it is so lovely at this time of night. The water might be a bit cold, but once you duck under it is very comfortable.” She placed a hand on his shoulder, her breath grazing his ear, but he still did not look up. “I think it would benefit you. The ocean, too, brings clarity, but it clears your brain, not your being.”
With that, Kevin heard the soft thuds of her feet in the sand as she walked towards the water. He stood for a few minutes, watching his feet and feeling uncomfortable. He did not like nudity, never had, but then, some - and Kevin certainly hesitated to call it divine - power willed him to look up and at her.
She looked celestial. She stood with her feet faced towards the ocean, but her back was twisted so she could look back at him, smile animated and bright, body exposed and vulnerable, laid out for Kevin to gaze upon. She wore the moonlight like lingerie - the stars had threaded themselves into her hair and she glowed with vigor. Then, she turned to the water again and slowly let it envelop her; for every step she took, more darkness swallowed her skin. Kevin watched in fascination as she reached a point where everything beneath her waist was gone, saw how she did not shiver even a bit, and then ducked under.
She was gone, then.
And then she was not.
“It is really nice,” she yelled. She was smiling a ridiculously large smile.
Kevin started to shed his clothes, then - how could he not - until he stood in his underwear and white shirt. He did not want to strip completely like Nabulungi. He could not.
He had taken his time, but she was waiting for him, hair wet and unruly, drops of saltwater dripping down her face and chest, patience palpable in her eyes as he made his way to waves of coldness. And it really was cold; Kevin shivered almost violently when the first wave washed over his legs and Nabulungi laughed at that, loud and clear. That made it worth it, Kevin thought. Then, he threw himself in. He let the water embrace him, cover him from head to toe, ruining his hair and drenching his shirt and leaving him gasping for air as he resurfaced.
In the meantime, Nabulungi had stepped back towards the shore and gotten closer to him. Now, as Kevin breathed for air, goosebumps blossoming across his skin and making his hair stand on end, she lifted a cautious hand before letting it fall to his hair and ran her fingers through it. Kevin did not resist it. It felt good.
“You look lovely.” She sounded like his mother. “And it is okay to cry.” She sounded all too much like his mother. “When was the last time you let yourself cry? Kimbay told me you thought crying was a weak thing to do.” Her eyes turned sad and Kevin did not want that at all. Then, Nabulungi embraced him, much like the water, except she was warm and insistent and loving and kind, ridiculously so, and Kevin did not recoil because he wanted her embrace. Because she would never hurt him. She whispered in his ear, “It is okay to cry. It is a sign that you are alive. It has been so since you were born.”
Kevin did not cry. Instead, he wrapped his arms around Nabulungi’s shoulders and held her tight, burying his face in her shoulder, reveling in the intimacy she provided. Her chest was pressed against his, and while this should make him feel repulsed, it did not. It felt right like their bodies were shaped specifically to intertwine - like two puzzle pieces. They stood like that for some time. The gentle waves were not disruptive. Kevin had not been hugged like that - ever.
Then, Nabulungi’s shoulders started shaking and Kevin did nothing but hold her tighter, trying to ignore both the quiet sobs that left Nabulungi and the quiet ache he felt in his heart.
“Why are you crying,” he asked and felt her shake her head. That seemed to be the only response, until-
“I miss my mother.”
“Yeah,” Kevin said, “I miss mine too.”
“Did you miss Arnold?” she whispered.
“No. No, I didn’t.”
“Did you miss McKinley?”
“...No. Miss is not the right word.”
“Long?”
Kevin blinked. “What do you mean ‘long’?”
“Is long the right word?” Nabulungi’s voice broke and more sobs were torn from her throat, still quiet and cautious. Kevin tried to soothe her by running a hand up and down one of her shoulder blades, rubbing it like his mother would do after a particularly cruel evening.
“No, longing is not the right word. I don’t think the right word exists.” She did not say anything. “McKinley doesn’t matter, though. I didn’t come back for him.” He hesitated. This was it, he could either show the same vulnerability Nabulungi had gone out of her way to show him the entire night, or he could shut himself down - say he did it for himself, come up with a flimsy excuse and wave anything resembling emotion off. God. it would be easy. It would be so easy. “I came back for you.” But Nabulungi was worth the potential heartache and exposure.
For a long time, she said nothing, and Kevin became acutely aware of the rising and falling of her chest against his and how their breathing had synched up. She was so beautiful. She lifted her head, then, and stared up at him with watery eyes and streaks across her dark cheeks. With a calloused hand, she held his jaw and pressed a chaste kiss to his cheek.
“Thank you.”
And as they stood in the ocean, illuminated by the moon, Kevin knew nothing but one thing for sure: heaven was empty, and the only angel was there with him.

BOM London 20/9/22 7.30pm
Cast: Stephen Rolley as Price, Oliver Jacobson as Cunningham, Stevie Webb as McKinley and Leanne Robinson as Nabulungi.
Finally got to see Rolley Price.
If anyone sees Rolley Price and are close enough to see his eyes - watch him. He really uses his eyes to portray Price's feelings and it's incredible (poorly used pun intended).
So, here is a summary of some of my favourite Rolley Price emotional eyes (I'm saving the best to last so these aren't in chronological order):
In TIO he looks really confused and a bit frightened by the whole thing. He mouthed to Arnold (Ollie) 'what's going on?'' in reference to the Elders all dancing.
He also was brilliant in the scene with him and Gotswana, his eyes really portrayed pain and fear. He also was gripping the gurney really tightly. He honestly looked in pain.
When Arnold meets him at the kafe he looks monumentally devestated. His eyes looked so sad as he lamented about Orlando and how he had been doing everything he was asked/told. When I say he looked devestated, I mean it. He looked like the world was crushing him and all the good things had gone.
IAHFY he looked so confused and then terrified by Cunningham.
And on that note: PRICINGHAM
Arnold almost kissed him. He tried to kiss him. In IAHFY Price looked terrified because after Arnold had tucked him in he was leaning over Price and moved to give him a kiss on the cheek, but Price put his hand in the way, and squeeked "what are you doing?"
And when they reconciled Rolley put his head in Cunningham's shoulder and Arnold stroked his hair.
Other notes about Rolley:
He played Price quite camp - from the hand gestures down to the way he walked. It was interesting to see because I've never seen Dom or Ben play up the question about Price's sexuality in that way.
McPriceley - not a huge amount tbh. But he grabbed McKinley by the face instead of shoulders, so McKinley leaning in seemed more of a natural response to the interaction. Ngl, my McPriceley trash heart got excited at that point.
His voice is the deepest I've heard in that role.
Ollie
Funny as always. I do love Ollie's Cunningham
Leanne
Amazing as always
Stevie
Without a doubt, he is one of the most talented people in the West End. That's all. Just insanly talented.
Special mention of Jed Hoyle (Poptarts)
He was really giving it his all. He had so much energy it was crazy. Honestly - I've seen Jed loads of times and he was on top form tonight.
He is now 2nd cover McKinley, third cover Price's dad/mission president and third cover Cunningham. I cannot wait to see him as Price's dad and Cunningham.
I honestly think he has an amazing career ahead of him.

Just realized that this was supposed to be in asks
“yeah we’re clueless but tis fine” is such a cute title, but also, “Harry Potter and the Book of Mormon camping trip” is INCREDIBLY intriguing, is it like the Book of Mormon the musical or like the actual Book of Mormon somehow becoming introduced to Harry?
omg hi hello!!! ty for the ask these are such good picks<3<3 even if you brought up that cursed cursed fever dream XDD
so I'll talk about this first. Right. This, ah, happened literal years ago, and it's the most ridiculous crack fic ever. Like I can't describe how dumb the whole thing is it's bad I'm sure there's so much about it that's just wrong and it's a proper crossover too, as in Harry Potter meets Elder Price and all that. I'm in literal tears reading through it to find a snippet and I genuinely hope this one never sees the sun againXD
"yeah we're clueless but tis fine" is an asexual wolfstar labour of love that I've got a Bad First Draft of, and has been tinkering with since forever, cuz I wanna do justice to the whole ace identity thing ya know? Most of it is fluff and Sirius being a human disaster and honestly I love thinking about suave confident charismatic conventionally attractive Sirius being ace, there's just so much to explore! Though every time reading through it makes me want to rewrite the whole thing, guess I'll have to return to this story when I'm a better writer :P
snippets for both below :)
-
“--Harry you need to be responsible for yourself you can’t risk putting yourself and others in danger again like back in fifth year--”
“THERE’S A HORCRUX IN UGANDA!”
“Harry WHAT?”
“There’s a horcrux in Uganda!”
“Nice!” Ron got glares from the other two. “...Where is that?”
“AFRICA!” said the other two in perfect unison.
Ron’s grin froze onto his face, “umm… right… Oh! Oh, boy, like Lion King!”
“How’d you even know what that is?”
(yes. they take the horcrux hunt to Salt Lake City then Uganda. the horcrux is a grain of sand that got made into glass and became part of Nabulungi's typewriter. and Voldemort ships Drarry.)
-----
-----
It wasn’t exactly fair to say that Sirius wanted to be normal. No, Merlin forbid the Sirius Black be anything other than spectacularly, singularly distinctive. Yet alas, we sometimes find ourselves— unconsciously— trying to be distinguished, albeit in the most conventional way. But nevermind about all this. All that wanted to be said was that Sirius, ever since entering Hogwarts and discovering a world of children outside of those pureblood weirdos, have been unwittingly trying to grow into this fuzzy kind of normal.
-
“Sirius! There you are!”
“How was the date!”
Sirius shrugged, “Good.”
“What did you guys do?”
“Normal date stuff. We ate and talked a lot.” He said, feeling particularly powerful as he scanned his friends’ eager faces, “We had vanilla tea.”
Remus grimaced right on cue. Sirius grinned to himself. Remus hated vanilla.
“Oh also, she kissed me.”
“Oh my god!” James shouted and Peter gasped loudly, right in the middle of the street, “no way! Pads! What the hell! How was it?”
“A bit wet,” he said dismissively, thoroughly enjoying his friends’ antics.
“Well that sounds just delightful.” Remus said, with a smile that betrayed his wording and tone. What a classic Remus.
“But it was still good.” Sirius said quickly.
“I reckon you’ll just get better at it, though.”
“For sure, I’ll be the best.”

for the character thing (x2): nabulungi hatimbi!!!
Sexuality Headcanon: straight (very big ally though)
Gender Headcanon: cis female
A ship I have with said character: NABULUNGINGHAM!!!! ARNOLD AND NABA FOREVER!!! MY BABIES
A BROTP I have with said character: connor and nabulungi are bffs forever
A NOTP I have with said character: naba with anyone other than arnold. esp kevin
A random headcanon: naba is the best in kitguli at speaking english because she studied it since she was a child when she learned that being bilingual makes jobs pay more. she bought any english books she could from the market and read them for practice and eventually got her hands on twilight. shes on team edward (she got connor into twilight too and they dragged their boyfriends to the new movie in kampala a year later)
General Opinion over said character: nabulungi is gorgeous and has a beautiful personality and i think she is really the sweetest girl ever i Love her so much
