Hello! This is a drill (Mandrillus leucophaeus)! They’re not as well-known as their red and blue faced cousins, the mandrills (Mandrillus sphinx)…

But drills are pretty colorful monkeys in their own right. And by that I mean that male drills have butts that would put an unicorn to shame!

really fun fact is that a cow is a ruminant - a group of mammals who have four stomachs (or more accurately stomach chambers)

And so if you want a pred who has a bunch of guts to fill there's actually a lot of different animals you can base them off of, not just cows >:)! There are sheep, deer, goats and giraffes too! (Or you could always make a fictional creature ofc lol)

Then there's camelids! A modified ruminant with only three stomachs/stomach chambers- alpaca, camels and llamas, so even more options there :)!

ANYWAYS, yes, cow type preds are amazing, I love them, and not exactly a cow but here's a gentle Yak pred with a couple of bunnies in their storage bellies and some grass in the others, and a not so gentle bonus alpaca pred.

Blitzwing is not used to physical affection.

That does not mean that he doesn’t learn to appreciate it, even if at first he brushes you off to maintain his tough mech image.

At first you’ll just cling and touch to whatever part of him is closest, which is his pedes.

They’re covered in tough tank treads, but given said treads operate a little bit more like the sole of a foot they’re actually very sensitive! You can touch here and he’ll be able to feel you much more than, say, compared to the armour on his torso.

His treads are ticklish. Do Not Tell ANYONE

In terms of general affection Hothead is most likely to get embarrassed and try to shake you off him, but you’ve got a grip that’ll put gorilla glue out of business and no 40 ton overgrown freezer-oven is gonna stop you.

Random, by comparison, loves the fact you love him so much you just have to bite him, he understands perfectly!!

Icy has a headache and a mild concern for your health. That and the fact that there’s a 30% chance that if you sneak a little smooch to his plating you might get frozen stuck there. Again.

He’ll roll his eyes and tease you, but he spent the last time you were stuck relentlessly screenshotting your adorably panicked expression, and he’s lowkey excited for you to do it a second time.

He’s got photos of you cuddled into various slots in his armour saved deep in his drives for him to look at when the deception regime keeps him from seeing you.

What's your favorite merthur scene in each season?

Season 1: Arthur and Merlin with Anhora debating who is gonna die. Merlin then falls for the oldest trick in the book when Arthur uses it to distact him so he can be the one poisioned. The frantic argueing with Arthur in his prat banter mode but it's super endearing because hes using it while about to FREAKING DRINK POISION. And it ends with: "You know me, I never listen to you" *Drinks poison so Merlin does not have to*

Season 2: In the troll episodes Merlin is under Arthur's bed like "Arthur" And Arthur jumps out of the bed drawing his sword "Who's there," Merlin pushes himself out from under the bed partly. "Merlin!" Arthur sighs in relief, then says, "You're back." "I never left" "You mean to say." "Yes" "You've been under there this entire time?" "No of course not no!" "Because if you were..." "I wasn't!" *Classic Merlin head tilt*

Season 3: The one where they are in the Perilous Lands. Arthur is being pratty. Gwaine rolls his eyes and then looks at Merlin, expecting him to feel the same, instead, Merlin has THE MOST love-stuck, adorable, silly smile on his face. And you can SEE the Merthur lightbulb go off in Gwaine's head.

Season 4: When Merlin is injured after the Doracha and still begs Arthur to take him with him. That entire scene. Season 5 "I don't want you to change I want you to always be you" Need I say more?

Do Bug and Joey ever try to jokingly switch places to see how many people can tell the difference?? I know Jake and Javy can clock it a mile away. I feel like Bob is also really good about it. Slider can also see the difference but he plays along since he lives for a good prank. I'm heads or tails on if Ice and Mav can spot the difference. Bradley most definitely can't tell the difference and that's why the switched places

Jake and Javy can absolutely clock it a mile away, they can tell the girls apart by their walks. 😂

Uncle Bob is excellent at it. Slider can absolutely tell too, he reads people ridiculously well and he can hear the difference in their voices. 😂 Most of the Daggers can't and the Flyboys are lost.

Ice can tell if he interacts with them, on sight no — but if he drops something, Bug is going to pick it up on reflex before it hits the floor. She is a Girl Scout through and through 😆🫡 she has earned that helping the elderly badge, thank you. Joey would go get it too of course, but her ADHD self will watch it hit the ground and skitter away before she moves.

Mav can’t tell at all, he is as hopeless as Bradley. He has to use a trick that Jake taught him. If he tosses something at the girls, they will catch it with different hands. They're mirror twins, so they have different dominant hands 😂

Bradley is hopeless, completely and utterly hopeless. He once went to the bathroom at one of Joey’s cheer competitions, came back and wondered why Jake and Bug were gone. Turns out Joey was hurt and swapped places with Bug when they were allowed to perform a second time. Bradley never noticed.

The girls give him endless shit for this, as is their civic duty. 😂🫡

Taiju actually has the capacity to wait a rather long time before he snaps. Not necessarily because of patience, but more so because deep down he wants YOU to be the one to come running to him. He fantasizes endlessly about how you’re gonna fall into his arms, confessing to him how much you love and need him, crying over how hard it’s been living without him in your life. He’s had countless daydreams of you initiating the relationship, consumed with the thought of you whole heartedly reciprocating his affections just as strongly (if not more so) than he does.

He KNOWS you love him. He’s seen it in the way you look at him, how you get all blushy and bashful whenever he comes near, unable to even speak without stumbling over your words because of how excitable his presence makes you. When you flinch away from his touches and affections, or go out of your way to avoid him, he knows it’s only because you can’t handle the rampant feelings surging through you. It’s cute as hell, and only makes him want you that much more.

So though it’s nearly unbearable, he’ll wait for you. He knows the moment you finally give in and concede to him it will be the sweetest moment in his entire life, worth the wait and then some. Knowing the prize that is awaiting him at the end is the only thing that gets him through the excruciating waiting period. (Well, that and fucking his fist to thoughts of you, excitement coursing through him when he muses on all the ways he will be able to ravage you in the near future).

That being said, there are certain triggers that will make him IMMEDIATELY drop all pretenses and assert his authority right away, mainly if someone else makes a move on you. It doesn’t even matter how small that advance is, if someone so much as bats an eye at you in a way that can be mistaken as flirtatious it’s over. You’re his from that point on, whether you are ready for the relationship or not. He’ll be damned if he’s gonna let some asshole try and stake a claim on his darling-the mere thought of it makes him sick with rage.

If it’s the other way around and you happen to have someone else that you have your eye on, then it would be in both you and your crush’s best interest to nip that in the bud ASAP. The moment Taiju gets an inkling of it you won’t come out of it unscathed. Regardless of the fact that he never got your express consent to be in a relationship, your loyalty is something he expects unconditionally, and should it falter at any point he has no qualms over correcting your behavior. But while you may be holed up in bed for a few days healing from a brutal lashing, the person you are smitten with will get it 100x worse if they are even allowed to keep living. Needless to say, you will neither see nor hear from them again after that.

You belong with nobody else but Taiju, nowhere else than at his side. He’s not afraid to beat that into you. You’re lucky he’s forgiving, and that he loves you so much, otherwise you would be MUCH worse off for the shit you pulled. He’ll even tend your wounds once your properly apologize for what a harlot you’ve been.

Extremely. There really is no limit. He will destroy everything and anything around you to keep you at his side. He isn’t stupid about it either, which makes him that much scarier. Anyone trying to prevent you from being his, whether they are friend or foe, he will take care of them. The disposal can range from paying them off or heavily threatening them, too far worse things. He would destroy someone’s entire livelihood in the blink of an eye for you, and if he could get away with it strangle a person to death with his bare hands if they terrorized you.

Whatever is necessary, whatever is needed, he will do it without hesitation. He loves you. You are his family, his heart, his EVERYTHING. This man would rip God himself asunder to keep you in his life, so you’d do best to never question his devotion to you.

It is! Thank you! I heard the phrase once and immediately knew I had to make a fic title out of it. A bit dark, but it goes well with the plot. After reading "Pretty Little Thing" on Ao3 by @wolfsbanesparks, I got inspired to write something similar that would make people scared with added elements of mystery. Okay okay, Do You Know Where Your Children Are can be summed up as a mystery, where after a series of kidnappings happen in Fawcett City, Captain Marvel is working alongside the police to find the kids. He isn't thrilled to be working with them, but he's more concerned with finding the missing kids before time runs out for them. Even as Billy, he hosts segments at Whiz Radio where he spreads the word about the sudden disappearances, warning parents and guardians alike to keep their children safe and within their eyesight at all times. A city-wide curfew is even put into place by the mayor. But all of those measures mean nothing when his best friend Freddy Freeman goes missing after patrol, along with the two wickedest siblings, Georgia and Thaddeus Jr. Sivana.

This fic explores the characters within Fawcett City, the supernatural shadows beneath the sunny surface, and the disastrous team-up between one evil scientist and two marvelous siblings.

Neither of them can use any magic. While I do think they could learn to do some, it would take a while and wouldn't be origami flavored, it would be normal "Mario world" magic. Same goes for the LoS, they can't do anything related to their art supply. This is why Olly is so focused on becoming origami again.

I almost want to request the ROs with a fat MC because of that other ask (because there are some who's clothing I know would not fit me, so I feel a lil left out), but I can't think of a scenario for it. And honestly, this is one of the few interactive fictions I've read that makes me believe the ROs really wouldn't...care? about that. It wouldn't change their behavior. I love that.

I've also been thinking about Willow recently (I LOVE sibling dynamics, one of my favorite WIPs of mine primarily focuses on a pair of siblings). Looking forward to them making their way to Easthaven so I can banter/playfully bicker with them. I don't have any profound insights yet, but I would totally call them "Little Sapling" when teasing them. They deserve it <3

Hiya! Please don’t apologize, I love talking about this kinda stuff with people, and that’s why I love tumblr, because no one I know in real life watches hermitcraft 😢 This is my only chance to talk about it/see what other people have to say about it.

Coming into hermitcraft in season ten has been a blast! I’m meeting so many amazing new people (both the content creators themselves and the people who watch them), and everyone is so nice and cool and talented. The interactions between the hermits are so fun, and I absolutely love seeing all the incredible fanart, fanfics, and general fandom rantings!

I’ve seen bits and pieces from past seasons, and I loved the empires crossover, so I think I watched a few extra povs for that, but this season is the first season that I actually have been watching and caring about. I have mostly stuck to Joel because he’s what I’m used to and comfortable with (plus I just really love his content, and have you seen his builds? my god he’s so talented), I’ve seen an episode or two of Skizz, a few of Grian, some of Gem, and a couple of Mumbo. I keep meaning to go back and watch some of the other seasons, but now that school has started I’m so swamped with homework that I don’t have the time 😭

It is not, generally speaking, advised to distract your pilot.

Blitzwing’s cockpit is comfy. The weather is clear, your schedules wide open. A rare moment of genuine calm in the hectic lives of mechanical invader and his hapless organic sweetspark.

You fidget, eyeing the control panel. His buttons are so shiny. It makes your fingers itchy.

“Schatzy? Vhat are you- AHAHAHAHAH STOP IT-!!”

Blitz pitches violently to the side as you gently brush your fingernails around the edges of the buttons, giggling even as you're thrown around in the cockpit and he pulls into a shaky spin.

“Don’t you dare – don’t you DA-” Ok well with that squeal of an order how could you possibly stop? Your fingers dance over the buttons and levers as they light up like a disco rave, Blitz’s plating trembling as his flight path becomes reminiscent of an etch-a-sketch, laughing maniacally.

“Nooooooo, nein nein vait, VAIT-” Icy’s panic cuts though as he lurches – you’re thrown against the glass as he pitches from the air, shifting to tank mode with a scream. Vertigo punches you in the stomach as you both freefall. “VE TOLD YOU NOT TO FRAGGING DO THAT!!”

Yeah. No regrets for this distraction at all.

I'm still trying to figure out what to make of Sheng Wang saying he was on a diet. Was it supposed to jokingly play off the fact that the mom's cooking is bad? Was it kind of flirty because he was implying that he'd lose weight so that Jiang Tian would carry him more often? What are your thoughts?

oh! this is such an interesting scene! (and it has put me in a brain rot since i first saw it...)

from my understanding, i personally regard sheng wang's "i'm on a diet," as him flirting with jiang tian ;)

i think, after jiang tian's little speech about how he wanted to help sheng wang, the clouds in sheng wang's pretty head were cleared up. from that moment, i believe, sheng wang knew that he wanted something more with jiang tiang—some more from jiang tian. he was finally certain that he could somewhat be closer to jiang tian now, without fearing the distance or reluctance—because jiang tian was also giving sheng wang an opening.

the i'm on a diet line is just a (not so subtle) hint that sheng wang wants jiang tian to have all of him; if he pushes himself toward jiang tian, jiang tian has to catch him. it's their unsaid promise once jiang tian carried sheng wang upstairs. jiang tian could've let go. but he didn't.

so... i think it's more of sheng wang flirting (and asking) jiang tian to hold onto him, to trust him, to stand on the same line with him, to be together.
