first of all, artem cuz i love him so much

he is a ceanothus silkmoth bc i think the colours fit, altho maybe an atlas moth because he is tall and atlas moths are big. i actually made a fabric in my fashion class in school of him and his icon and his and a ceanothus silkmoth i dont really have much reasoning other than hehehehehe moth pretty

luke is a rosy maple moth :D cuz he is a little eepy boy. i wouldve done a silkmoth like a moon moth but i think that wouldbe been insensitive since moon moths dont live very long much like him uhh anyways rosy maple moths r tiny guys so loveley

marius is a comet moth/madagascan moon moth because i think they are so cool an artsy energy, altho i think a yello or green chinese luna moth fots him too since i think they kinda look like kites and kites are arty i guess also kites fly away in the wind and i want mr lu jinghe to blow away in the wind and hit a powerpole/affectionate

(holy shit its moth man) - he drives around in his hand-me-down car he calls "the dib mobile" and it's very tricked out for paranormal investigating but is also a big mess. - he's friends with the nicktoons unite gang but 90% of the time he is off doing some random shit for paranormal stuff ( this video is dib when the nicktoons gc askes to hang out)

Evan? Not really. I couldn't do all the dissecting animals thing cos because of ~autism~ my empathy for animals is 900% when it should be 65-75% (like I can't even kill mosquitos) but like it's around 40-50% for humans when it should be 90-100%

Barty? I, me too, can't have a normal human relationship with anyone and I'm brutally honest. And I wasn't wanted by my dad.

Regulus? He. Is. Me. Like there's already everything ive already said abt Remus and all. And my sister left me to go study in an other country when I was 12 and our relationship was already slowly getting worse. And I want to kill myself 24/7 and make a lot of self- depreciation jokes. And like I've finished a 800 pages book in 5 days last week because I liked it too much so I didn't sleep. And I write and read sad french poetry.(Plus obviously ~autism~)

Thank you for tagging me @theladyofshalott1989! Everyone go read her Like Moths to a Flame series pls (it's on my to-read list and I'm really looking forward to it!)

When did you start writing?

I've been writing for as long as I can remember. When I was a kid, I used to hand write entire novels lol. At school, they'd assign us a little writing project and I'd show up with like 28 chapters, ongoing. I remember reading one story aloud once and the whole room was dead quiet after, and one girl goes: "whoa." anyway, eventually they were like, hey I think this kid is gifted (or autistic LOL but why not both.)

Are there different themes or genres you enjoy reading than what you write? 

Not really haha. My brain really goes: HEY WE REALLY REALLY REALLY LIKE THIS ONE THING AND WE'RE NOT INTERESTED IN ANYTHING ELSE. I mean, I do enjoy reading non-fiction, and I love the classics, but mostly I like fiction/romance/light fantasy stuff. 

Is there a writer you want to emulate or get compared to often? 

Nah. I just write like me. I guess the HP series had a huge influence on me since I was SO obsessed with it, which is probably why I write past tense/third pov limited. Sometimes I'll re-read a lot of Austen and end up using a bunch of old timey words in my next chapter, but mostly I just write and it comes out sounding like me. 

Can you tell me a bit about your writing space? 

I don't have one. I write 99.9% of my work on my phone wherever I happen to be. My brain is chaos but it works for me. (Right now I am writing this on the beach while my dog digs holes beside me.)

What's your most effective way to muster up a muse?

It's kinda rare that I can't find a muse. Usually I just burn myself out, so reading, resting and rotting helps restore my creative energy.

Are there any recurring themes in your writing? Do they surprise you?

HahahhA y'all this is too personal for me *sweats* but yes: grief and shitty parents. No, that does not surprise me. I also seem to have a thing about orphans and red heads.

What is your reason for writing?

I don't know how to stop.

Is there any specific comment or type of comment you find particularly motivating?

With fanfic, when people tell me my characterisations of canon characters are spot on, or when people tell me my original characters feel like canon characters, hehe.

How do you want to be thought about by your readers?

I don't want to be thought about by my readers at all, which is why I'll always write as an anonymous gremlin. And as far as my characters and stories go, I honestly don't give much thought to it. People are free to think what they like, it doesn't really bother me.

What do you feel is your greatest strength as a writer?

Getting inside my characters heads, I think. Understanding their motivations and writing them as real and flawed and human as I can.

How do you feel about your own writing?

Honestly, I love it haha! Sometimes I might cry for three days believing that I'm absolute garbage, but that's just life innit. Mostly, I write because it's one of the greatest sources of joy in my life and it just makes me happy.

Ok guys I want to share with you a theory that's been on my mind for a while now. Buckle up it's going to be a long one.

Warning for Angst

Ok so we know how In the ship RadioStatic everyone seems to be on Vox side. Saying he is the unfortunate victim and Alastor is the asshole. The belief is Vox confess his love to Alastor and he just laughed in his face and leaves for seven years.

I DON'T BELIEVE THAT AT ALL

And here's why. Btw it ok if you don't believe this a way I'm just sharing my thoughts ok.

I think that it was Alastor that confess to Vox, and Vox rejects him. But not because he didn't love him but because he knew Alastor didn't love him the way vox needed him to.

So we know Alastor is Canonically Asexual. He was Aromantic but that was announced non canon. So until it is announced cannon again I am going to say he doesn't mind Romantic relationships but he does mind sexual ones.

According to VIZIEPOP Alastor doesn't know anything about his sexuality. As far as he is concerned he just has not found the right one yet. But that doesn't mean he hasn't tried to.

I think he first believes he was in love with Mimsy. During his lifetime they bonded over , Jazz, Dancing and there rather interesting hobbies. They also were victims of abuse and bullying so they formed a bond. When they were Alive still. Alastor confess to Her. But she politely declined. She never told him why though. Although a little hurt he accepts.

Let's jump forward a few years Alastor enters Hell. I like to think he was burying Mimsy murderer when he got shot. Believe it or not she was kinda pissed that he allowed his anger to blindside him. ( She quickly forgave him though).

Anyway Alastor meets Rosie and once again he believes he found love. He loves how safe he feels around her. He can share his deepest secrets and vulnerabilities with her. They love music and old timie things. They both hate Susan. And he just feels Happy. So he confess to her one day. Rosie o f course declines. Hurt and a bit confused Alastor asks why. She tells him to close his eyes and imagine kissing her. Then touching her. Alastor of course grimaces.

She tells him. That yes he does live her. But not in the way he thinks. He loves her like a fawn loves it's mother. Once again he accepted and moved on.

Until Vox.

When Alastor first met vox he approached him like a curious kitten. Vox was a bit intimidated at first but Alastor showed no signs of wanting to attack him. Alastor takes vox in and shows him the ropes of hell.

Eventually Alastor feels the same pull he had with Mimsy and Rosie. He feels like he is in love with Vox. This time though he decided to take his time. To make absolutely sure that He does love Vox. So for 20 years Alastor bonds with vox. They cuddle, watch movies. Alastor allows Vox to play with his ears. He tells Vox about his violent past. Vox shares his story too. One day Alastor allows Vox to take a photo of him. It's the first and only photo of Alastor since he was a child. However In this photo he is smiling genuinely and not a fake smile. Unlike the photo of his childhood.

Alastor finally feels happy. Surely this was the romantic love he had been craving.

That was until a certain moth came to play. Valentino wormed his way into Vox life. Slowly vox began to change and not for the best. Alastor saw this and decides to confess to Vox before he loses him forever. So Alastor tells Vox his feelings for him. He is sure that Vox is the one. He must be. They bonded for 20 years. However Vox tells him those three words he has now come to hate.

" No you don't".

Alastor is confused and upset now. Probably pulling his hair and everything ( yes I headcanon him Autistic and trans too). Vox comfort Alastor but he is still hurt. Vox then explain to Alastor that he is in love with Valentino. He tells Alastor that at one time he did love Alastor but realized that Alastor just didn't harbor the same romantic love that he did.

Although extremely heartbroken. Alastor understands. Vox starts dating Valentino. Very slowly he starts ignoring Alastor. To hang out with the ' Cool kid' eventually Velvette joins and Alastor feels left out.

Vox used to hang out with him. Now he barely talks to him. Alastor doesn't understand at all. IT HURTS HIM DEEPLY. Still he keeps the photo of vox and him. One day Vox Asks Alastor to join the Vees. After 2 years of barely talking during this time Alastor aquires husk soul.

And because Valentino is a pervert moth, Velvet is a stuck up bitch and Vox BROKE HIS HEART. Alastor declines.

Of course vox threatens alastor and the fight happens. Alastor nearly wins but before he can kill Vox he is reminded of what vox used to be. So instead he runs away. As he collapsed to the ground with tears in his eyes the last thing he sees before passing out is his owner staring down at him with a disapproving look.

And that's my theory sorry so long.

Yuki Asano • he/they • ocd haver • bisexual • grayromantic

-lead singer and guitarist of the group (can play electric and acoustic. He also can work a DJ station like you wouldn’t believe

- deaf w/ hearing aids. Uses JSL and ASL. He can speak verbally but rarely does so. Usually just for singing. Deaf from birth.

- met Fumikage in kindergarten. Both of them had skin picking problems so were pushed to be friends. It worked out well though. The two, Fumi as the weird autistic bird kid with scary eyes and a demon who was way friendlier than him that could solo a building, and Yuki, a little girl who didn’t speak and hit and yelled at other children, who both anxiously picked at their skin, became fast friends due to ostracism from everyone else.

- has OCD, though his obsessions and compulsions are highly focused on contamination and germs among other things. For high school he goes to an adaptive school that has biweekly attendance and focused learning groups. It’s accommodated his mental health and his teachers all know ASL or JSL. He’s much happier this way. As good as it was that he met his friends through the public school system, it was killing him.

- obsessed with religious imagery. Very fond of biblically accurate angels and sin and rings of hell and mythology and such

- never wanted to do hero work or anything. He thinks hero’s are overrated but that Fumi will be different and become his favourite hero.

- he doesn’t care about quirks all that much either. He has very weak telekinesis and uses it almost entirely on small items. (Usually his phone so it doesn’t crack)

- all the SBFS members write lyrics and songs for the band to play though it’s mostly Yuki and Fumi. Stella and Shin prefer to convey their feelings through instruments.

- the most confrontational of the 4. He has the most metaphorical balls.

Stella Kuroiwa • she/her • queer • transfemme

- drummer of the group. She is absolutely wild on the drums. She is also good with any special effects.

- heteromorph like yami. She has a moth mutation which means she has big ol buggy eyes, these weird pointed yet tuft ears, antennae, and a velvety slight layer of fur to her skin. (Like those littlest pet shops. The fuzzy ones.)

- I am inbetween giving her two pairs of arms. I’m still unsure.

- her quirk is called firefly. She can create fireflies made of light though she must absorb direct sunlight or moonlight to do so. If she doesn’t, she can’t use it.

- she’s very anxious. Her sexuality + gender coming out was very hard on her. Coming to terms with herself was a process

- she’s sweet. Though also very silly. She’s really funny and affectionate with those she loves. Though on the outside she’s very avoidant. School is hard for her. She’s okay academically though avoids social things and sports like the plague. Probably does pottery or something. Needs to go to one of those break shit rooms.

- met yuki and Tokoyami in 6th grade. They were probably in the same gym class. None of them ever brought their gym clothes for fear of the change rooms + dysphoria + dysmorphia + insecurity so they were benched together.

- sleeby. Caring. Probably the tallest of the group. Though generally close to Yuki in height.

- now goes to the same school as Shin though they’re not in the same classes very much. It’s the school yami would’ve went to if UA hadn’t worked.

Yushin Tomioka • he/him • gay

- shin my boy. He’s.. so repressed

- probably the most level headed of the group. He keeps the 3 out of trouble

- really smart

- he’s an artist! Super fond of grungy lineart and symbolism. He’s working to be a tattoo artist, though generally has an interest in body mods.

- his quirk is called utensil. He can turn the tip of any of his fingers into a utensil (fork, spoon, knife, screwdriver, pen, pencil, etc) though if he does more than one at a time it uses his energy and makes him feel fatigued.

- gets along with the group well. Probably had a mild crush on Yami for a bit.

- he found solace in the goth alt sort of style. Former gifted kid with perfect grades and everything. He still has good grades but his parents are not at all happy that he isn’t becoming a doctor.

- pianist of the group. He uses a cool keyboard he bought himself. Was forced into piano lessons as a child. Has reclaimed it by playing amazing songs + video game music covers on his keyboard.

- call him shin. No one calls him Yushin. Or Tomioka.

-probably aroacespec but he doesn’t want to think about that rn

- same school as Stella. He’s good in school though he keeps to himself

-the outgrown buzzcut stays. He doesn’t want long hair for awhile.

-he’s shorter than yami by a bit.

-probably wants lip piercings

Hello my name is Indigo and this is my main blog, my pronouns are he/they/it/fae/tv. Okay so I've had a few ppl do this tag game and not know what my url is so here's an elaboration :D

(apparently another case of my autistic ass finding like super specific stuff relating to my interests and not realizing it isn't actually common information 😭)

But in case you didn't know my url is a slight misspelling of a name for a family in the Lepidoptera order! (moths & butterflies)

They contain the largest Lepidoptera, and some of the largest living insects overall– a good example would be the Atlas moth, with an impressive wingspan of 24 cm! (larger than the average human hand) which is also probably my all time favorite moth!!!

Anyways my url is based off me going by Moth online (which is also related to my actual name, funnily enough). It's not just for aesthetics bro I am a dedicated Saturniidae and Lepidoptera super fan.

I've a big fascination with (ethical! Always do research before purchasing taxidermy and related items!!) insect pinning as well; I've got a rather small collection I'm currently working on expanding, a few years back I went to a pinning class for a deathshead moth (though I've yet to put it up 💀) and it was really fun!!! I think these animals are genuinely so beautiful and endearing they deserve to have their beauty preserved and shared with the world (especially considering they have such short lifespans) as well as finding the practice of insect pinning for educational purposes fun! Ironically I have an aversion to live insects but still love learning about them! :)

Anyways I hope anyone who follows me/is a mutual and wasn't sure what my url meant finds this helpful! Sorry it kind of turned into a bug ramble

thinking about the animals i think of as part of myself and trying to analyze why i relate to them as this goes lower down the less prominent a part of myself the animal is

bunny - bunnies feel to me like the most all encompassing animal i consider myself because they simultaneously are soft and cute while also being highly sexually active and symbols of fertility and they’re also prey animals so they simultaneously represent my ideal self, a major part of myself which i despise, and my fear of being harmed by people especially sexually harmed additionally one of if not my oldest stuffy is a bunny

sheep - once again cute prey animal that is a very large part of myself, i also think of myself specifically as a domesticated sheep which makes sense because i frequently feel that i have very little control over my own life, that i am only cared about by the people in my life for what i do for them, and that without the people in my life i wouldn’t be able to survive on my own and would be taken advantage of

sharks - i strongly relate to sharks for three primary reasons they cannot survive without hurting others and i frequently feel like the things i do that make my life bearable are hurting the people around me (despite assurances otherwise), they’re frequently characterized as evil despite not actually harming people very often which between the parts of myself i consider morally wrong and the fact that large parts of my identity are demonized by other is deeply relatable, and they’ve become a symbol of transness thanks to blahaj

deer (and cervidae in general) - another cute prey animal who would’ve guess, i really relate to how jumpy they are as i’m frequently an anxious mess as for the larger cervidae they’re more an idealistic relatability in being prey animals that can readily defend themselves or take its killer with it

butterflies, moths, and phoenixes - all beautiful animals which symbolize rebirth moths i especially love because they’re frequently seen as being ugly or a nuisance and i relate strongly to changing yourself for the better in a way others view as wrong i relate to phoenixes especially strongly because dying is inherent to their rebirth and i relate to that both as someone who struggles with suicidal ideation and who views my pre-transition self as an entirely different person who is now dead and that i’m just living in his old body

kitty - cats are rather complicated because i don’t really see them as a large part of who i am but i have a strong fondness for them and acting in a catlike manner i think the reasons i relate to them are because i’ve had cats for most of my life so they’re very familiar to me, cats are frequently used by other trans and autistic people to represent themselves (via catgirls and “all cats are autistic”), cats express their emotions very clearly in a way i struggle to, and cats are very common in pet regression and pet play content which i find very affirming/calming

puppy - similar reasons to cats although i relate to them a bit less and like them less than cats

i didn’t specifically mention it for any animal but i have noticed lots of these are animals either subservient to or hunted by humans

other assorted animals i consider part of myself usually on a similar level to cats and dogs i just don’t have much to say about them: bees, dragons, bats, werewolves (i know this isn’t an animal per se), foxes, stingrays, and animalistic monsters in general

feel free to psychoanalyze me based on the animals i identify with and my other posts i’m stupid and need either a lot of time or it being directly pointed out to notice things about myself and worse case scenario your wrongness will help me sort out my thoughts since “that interpretation doesn’t quite feel right” is the first step to further questioning and understanding

Character A is a person who enjoys stories of magic, and supernatural, and all of the like. They don't necessarily *believe* in that stuff, but they do enjoy it as a medium, of expression as well as finding it fun!

One day, while on a hike in the woods, they come across Character B, a Fae that had been kicked out of the local court with nothing. They have no help, vague memories of their time in the court, no possessions to keep them safe, and--most terrifyingly--no *name*, as it was stripped from them as they were expelled by the court.

So, when Character A finds a--potentionally wounded--incredibly stressed person in the woods (are they human? The antenna says no), they take it upon themselves to try and help them! Causing them to panic, try and run away, only to trip on a root and knock themselves out! Whoops!

Character A decides to take this poor... thing that is definitely not human (ohmygodthey'renothumanwhattheshit) back to their home to take care of them! Leaving Character B stuck in Debt to Character A! Yay!

You decide where it goes from there! I'm personally thinking Character B decides to stay with Character A until they can remove the Debt, as it is never a good idea to be Indebted. This leads to Character A showing Character B more and more about humanity, as they build a relationship and start to fall for eachother.
