Ok, so, idk if I missed the character limit so I'm sorry if it's too much, I also don't want to put any pressure on you either!
So! What if reader was half human half dragon? (I mean like, How to train your dragon kinda dragon)
Where they can either be human, half human/dragon (like, walking on their legs but being a bit taller than before, having scales instead of skin, wings and tail) and full dragon form (like toothless)
(I apologize if it's too complicated 😭)
Reader: gender neutral
Characters (romantic hc): Sun Wukong, Macaque and MK? (Maybe Mei Mei too if it's not pushing it)
Again, no pressure, and if it's too much I'll understand! Have a lovely day :D
Mei, MK, Wukong and Macaque with a dragon hybrid reader
(notes: MUAHAHAHAH YOU HAVE FED ME YOUNG ONE!! I didnt have much ideas but this was so fun!)
Mei
shes SOOO EXCITED
like?? a fellow dragon? a PRETTY ONE?!!
she asks if you breathe fire, and depending on your species you answer
you two go on joyrides in the sky <33
the second you transformed she was like 🫦
she is in AWE OF YOUUUU
she asks you so many questions about your species and you’re happy to answer them all
her fans think you’re a cosplayer 💀
she demands piggy back rides, and pulls your collar down to kiss you
”i love my tall partner”
she catches you hoarding gems and has a picture saved on her phone
her parents are like 🙌
you have asian parent approval congrats (im viet, so i should know)
—
MK
seductive monster x shy human real!!,
he was very intimidated at first, he thought you would eat him
but when you purr with your lil reptile noises hes SMITTEN
i hc that you pick him up and fly with him
hes happy he can relate to someone who can relate to having this animalistic side of their life
he blushes a lot. like.. you’re HELLA TALL and MK is probably short as hell so… add two and two together
you steal his stuff a lot and hoard it as treasure. he doesnt mind, as long as youre happy
you reach things on the top shelf for him. change my mind.
—
SWK
CUDDLE PILES!!!
you two fly in FFF together
SPIDERMAN/SKY KISSES BABYYYY
he thinks you look so graceful and pretty
you could kick his ass and he would say thank you
you spar with MK sometimes to help him and MK is FLABBERGASTED
imagine wukong getting into a stupid fight and you jsut swoop in and save him
he gives you as many treasures as possible for you to hoard
and when you’re in dragon form hes like 😳
mans thinking of situations. none of them are in the tripitaka/the buddhist bible
he tries to turn into a dragon, he cant do it
”sighhhhh i miss my tall pookie bear”
he leans on your shoulder
—
Macaque
he admires your strength, but not in the sense that Wukong does, more like respect and love
you go on nighttime flights together, its rlly relaxing
he pets you. fight me.
like dragon pookie = cat pookie
scratches, pets, distracting you with shiny things
you get rlly mad and then he just kisses you and youre like 😳
the only man that can calm you down
if you were dating before he joined the gang, POWER COUPLEEE
”hey babe ready to beat up wukongs student” “hold up lemme change firstttt”
he pulls you down with your collar to kiss you
hes still a massive flirt <33
i hc that you make little replite/cat sounds. the first time macaque heard them hes like “wait did you just”
he has teased you for it ever since
the dojo’s kinda small, so you have to duck to enter, and he literally CHANGED HIS DOOR so you can enter easily

What do you think about Shuro? And more specifically his relationship with Laios, and idk if you talk about ships but what are your thoughts on laishuro
I have this headcannon that Laios has some sort of unrequited crush on Shuro just because it's sorta funny
I ship pretty much everything. Like, as default I think everyone should kiss everyone 👍
If I'm honest I'm not much of a Shuro fan, he's a little boring to me and reactions to the chimera episode made me dislike him a bit lmao.
Ignoring the fandom I like him as a character and I LOVE his fight with Laios. Shuro's relationship to Laios is my favorite part of that character so laishuro pretty much saves him for me.
In universe Shuro is said to be quite the introvert even for people from his country. He's not the standard for someone from the eastern archipelago and it bothered me a bit when people used that to justify how he wasn't honest to Laios. I understand the idea that he comes from somewhere where reading social cues is not only expected but required but he's also someone who avoids confrontation and is quiet/shy in general.
Here's a bit from Maizuru's description from the adventurer's bible
"People tend to describe Shuro as "drab" and "shy" (...)" so specifically HE IS the exact type of person who would cause the biggest misunderstanding with Laios, just compare him to how his retainers or even his father and brothers act.
It took them saying they used ancient magic on Falin/seeing chimera Falin for him to finally snap, everything else he decided to just take it cause he thought it was better to take it than to confront Laios directly.
So besides the cultural differences you have to take into consideration this was pretty much the perfect storm brewing for that confrontation, and it's as much who Shuro is as a person and who Laios is as person that caused it.
I also disagree that the fight was a "they're both in the wrong" situation. Don't get me wrong, Laios was VERY culturally insensitive to Shuro and even more insensitive to his feelings, but there was nothing he could have done differently with the information that was available to him.
Specifically I see this comic being used to justify how Laios was to blame too, making Shuro into the victim
Like that's a major white guy move but he DIDN'T HEAR Shuro's name and Shuro never corrected him. I'd understand it if his reaction was "Your name is too complicated so I'll call you Shuro instead" that would be a major dick move, but Laios did not hear his name because Toshiro mumbled it, and for someone that forgot Kabru's name several times I imagine he made an effort to remember Shuro's.
Laios never met someone from the eastern archipelago before this, nobody ever explained to him he wasn't acting in an appropriate manner and most of all he thought they were friends. He trusted Shuro to set boundaries for him, he always respects boundaries that are set even when he doesn't fully understand them (Recalling the "I forgot about feelings.." when Chilchuck says it feels wrong to eat merman)
Instead of explaining ANYTHING to Laios, Shuro instead held it all in until it exploded all at once, he blamed Laios for not knowing something he couldn't know, and accused him of not being serious about saving his own sister.
Just imagine how this must have felt for Laios, everyone is always underestimating how serious he is, everyone accuses him of being stupid, clueless, and now this guy is telling him he isn't serious about saving the person he loves the most in the world and wants to protect always. To me this wasn't a "they're both in the wrong" situation, Shuro is far more in the wrong than Laios. But that's just how I see it.
That all being said, they understood each other finally and made peace after that fight.
And several times after this we see that Shuro really cares for Laios, and Laios still wants to be his friend. He even offered to save Laios if he fails (and he's sure he's gonna fail). So their relationship is dear to me, especially cause after this they finally have the foundation for a true mutual friendship <3
I think my dislike of Shuro comes from relating to him to be honest, it happens often that I see my own failures on a character and get angry at them for being angry at myself lmao. I also got a little annoyed cause I only saw people defending him, apparently those were made as a response to hate he had gotten? But since I never actually seen the hate it just felt annoying to see Shuro being white knighted.
Anyway I love the two of them together and I'm really happy they finally understood each other better. laishuro might be my favorite Laios ship, one sided crushes are great.
#Sorry I dont like being negative and I hope this wasnt too mean towards Shuro#its hard to be objective about him cause of personal feelings but I tried#Dungeon Meshi#Shuro#Laios Touden#Ask#Longpost#Rant#long post#Oh yeah I've said it before but I live under a rock I rarely know whats happening in fandom#might be part of the reason why only the shuro defenses found their way to me#dunmeshi thoughts

(Part 4 of La La Land Machine exposition posts!! I know I've made way more than 4 but this is the part that's going in chronological order. Like I've talked about Hunter and hunlow in this au before but this is his formal introduction, like Willow got in part 1. I also got quite a lot more followers since I last rambled about this AU so linking the other parts if they wanna catch up. And if they want, they can look through the tag for all the additional info.
PART 1
PART 2
PART 3
Anyway, I lied. We are only BEGINNING to talk about the hunlow slow burn. It's taken me long enough to set up Hunter and everything he's got going on. It sets up hunlow but they're not really close yet. But it won't even take that long to get the next post out because I am so excited to talk about them more)
Hunter Wittebane has lived his whole life wearing masks. He's been an actor before he developed object permanence. He was memorizing scripts by ear before he could fully read by himself.
Job after job, set after set, role after role. His environment is not only cutthroat competitive, but it's always in motion. Things never sit still. The biggest stability in his life was his Uncle Philip, whom Hunter loved intensely. Even if it felt like the only way he could express it was by bleeding.
But Hunter was only allowed to bleed in private. And if he wanted his Uncle to stroke his hair back and keep telling him he was special, he needed to prove it. He needed to be the second chance that he was born to be.
Hunter struggles to really understand who he is. Because he is seldom himself. If he's not playing a character, he's only known as the legacy of the Hollywood gem, Caleb Wittebane, Hunter's late father.
Hunter was quite sheltered as a child. Other than being out and about for business reasons, he didn't really get to experience much of the world. If he wasn't working, he was usually confined to his Uncle's house. Or hotel rooms. The only outings he goes on that are considered "personal" are to church.
He loves to read and he'll devour whatever book he gets his hands on. Unfortunately his options are limited to what his Uncle believes is appropriate. Philip views the world as a depraved and lecherous place, as are the people that inhabit it. If it weren't for this world and its poison, his brother would still be alive.
And then he wouldn't need to waste his time replicating his brother's likeness in some aimless weak willed child who can barely comprehend how important his performance is in all of this.
Philip refuses to allow outside forces to contaminate his nephew. If Caleb's soul is going to live on in the way it should have, they can't make a repeat of last time. Caleb's replacement has to remain on the right path, or his legacy goes up in flames.
The Bible is one of Hunter's top comfort reads. It's the only book that his Uncle seems pleased to know he's interested in. And he's pored over the pages so many times that the familiarity is soothing. It also puts the fear of God in him. As do Philip's frequent lessons. He's shaping up to be a very faithful little Christian.
Hunter also watches a lot of (Uncle approved) television. He's a tiny chatterbox but is pretty starved of socialization. If his Uncle isn't around, he's stuck with the family assistant Kiki, who usually ignores him. TV and books are mostly responsible for Hunter's expansive vocabulary.
As a shy but precocious little boy, his best friends are sweet, comforting preschool cartoon characters.
Even though Philip's life seemed to orbit around Hunter and he worked day and night for the sake of his nephew's success, a lot of the time he just....wasn't around. Sometimes Hunter went weeks without hearing from him and was left in the "care" of Kiki.
Hunter was always left wanting. On those lonely nights when Philip was away, he would beg Kiki to call him so Hunter could at least say goodnight. All for the sake of holding the phone tight against his ear and hearing his Uncle's soft spoken "Sleep well, Hunter," so his world felt a little less cold.
If Philip even answered.
But when Uncle was home, Hunter found himself with some very guilty feelings and ungrateful thoughts.
The details are not important. By that, I mean Hunter is quite uncomfortable recounting the things that used to happen in the Wittebane house when his Uncle was home.
He said them aloud once. At the age of sixteen, when his breathing was in sync with the girl he had fallen in love with and her fingers were tracing gentle paths down his bare back. He felt like he had melted into a world where he could say anything.
It didn't stop his voice from wavering nor his throat from threatening to close up. It was like he was having a full body rejection of the admission. These were secrets meant to remain locked up in his chest until his heart went still.
But he said them. And after that, they couldn't go back to being unsaid.
He didn't say them again for many years. It wasn't until he was a grown man. He wrote them down and he told the whole world.
But we're getting ahead of ourselves.
The point is that when Philip was away, Hunter got lonely and wanted his Uncle back. When Philip was home and focused all of his attention on his nephew, Hunter wanted nothing more than for him to be gone again. He knew that was an awful thing to want and the guilt ate him alive.
Did he not love his Uncle? Of course he did! He loved him more than anything.
That's why it hurt so much.
Sometimes, his Uncle was a comfort to Hunter's anxious heart. He held him in his arms and hushed him when Hunter had nightmares. He was safety.
And other times, he was the reason for those nightmares and Hunter didn't feel like he could be safe until that man was out of the house again.
Maybe, no matter what happened, he'd never be truly happy with any situation he was put in. Maybe the state of "being happy" just wasn't real, but a thing TV made up. There was just something inherently empty and scary about being alive.
At least that's the conclusion the small boy came to. This remained his mindset as he navigated the big loud upsetting world around him, which only got bigger and louder and more upsetting as Hunter got older and his career grew.
The most glaring problem Philip encountered grooming Hunter in Caleb's image was that there's a drastic difference between a man who achieved the most undiluted burst of stardom in his twenties and a toddler. Hunter can not immediately slide into the dignified shadow his father left behind, because he's too young for the kind of dramatic roles that Caleb had dazzled the world with.
There was nothing available to little Hunter that Philip felt lived up to the standards of Caleb in his prime. Which was understandable but disappointing. So, with a heavy exhale, which made Hunter worry the hem of this shirt ("Am I doing something wrong, Uncle?") Philip relented. Hunter would need a lengthy portfolio by the time he was older, so it was now time to start building this budding actor from the ground up.
Commercials, TV appearances, small film roles. Though it pained him to do so, Philip abandoned all the initial integrity he attached to his brother's legacy, and focused primarily on simply getting Hunter's face on a screen, any screen, whatever it took to get him entrenched in the industry.
Hunter was a lot more sensitive than other children. When he was very little, he had a bad tendency to get distressed over things like bright lights and unfamiliar places and weird textures. This led to a lot of on-set tantrums and he was deemed a difficult and entitled brat.
His "brattiness" never quite went away as he aged. But Philip did manage to curb those tendencies to be far less frequent. It involved brief private conversations in the nearest dressing room. When Hunter emerged, he was quieter and a lot more willing to co-operate with what the adults needed from him.
Hunter learned that misbehaving had consequences. He learned to swallow whatever obscure distress he was feeling and just do his job.
This didn't make his tantrums stop. They just shifted from regular occurances to big nasty explosions that build up over a period of weeks to months.
He eventually gave up trying to suppress them. It doesn't work. So, he just allows his emotions to burst out of him in the most humiliating public display a human being can put on, and then takes his punishment.
Uncle keeps telling him that people are going to think there's something wrong with him if he keeps doing this.
Hunter begs him to believe that there's not. There's not something wrong with him.
While it was happening, Philip would consider the 90s as a rocky beginning to his nephew's career. He didn't care much for any of the films or television series' Hunter appeared in, likely because he didn't care much for any production that included small children. So he was uninterested by default in any of the roles Hunter managed to book.
Regardless, this didn't make Philip any less demanding. Even if it was all tripe, and by God, he was very vocal about it all being tripe, he was still strict about Hunter's work ethic. The boy was expected to pour everything into his performance, and through there were very irritating child labor laws, Philip turned a blind eye to directors pushing the limits every now and again.
After long work days, Hunter would listen to his Uncle tear his current acting job to shreds. The stupid demeaning script that Caleb would be appalled at, but Hunter had no choice but to take, because he simply doesn't have the privilege to be picky.
Hunter felt a deep humiliation by his own career before he was even ten years of age. There was nothing that Philip held to Caleb standard, which left Hunter a paranoid wreck most of the time, fearing that he was always doing something wrong but never knowing how to fix it.
When he thinks back on being a little kid, he has a lot of memories of tearfully begging his Uncle to stop thinking of him a certain way or looking at him the way he does. He remembers his throat hurting. Things must have gotten loud.
An older Hunter would wince as he makes that connection. He remembers his throat hurting but not the consequences of raising his voice.
Every so often, a more prestigious opportunity presented itself to him (like the role of the protagonist's son in a film adaption of an American classic), and Hunter got so overwhelmed by the pressure of finally having something that could possibly hold a candle to Caleb Wittebane that he completely flubbed the audition and failed to book the role.
He knows that were dire consequences for not getting it. Although, once again, he doesn't remember the details of the punishment. But he remembers how tightly Uncle gripped his wrist as they walked out of the building. He remembers sitting perfectly still in the car, scared to make a sound by wriggling in his seat. Scared to breathe.
That was the 90s. That was Hunter's experience as a young child actor.
By the year 2000, he was ten and that's when Philip quietly realized something.
Hunter currently resembled Caleb Wittebane in miniature. He had his strong nose, his ashy hair, his dark eyes. Philip had always anticipated that there may be a bit of her in his nephew's appearance, but there wasn't a trace. It was beyond ideal.
This is when things should have gotten easier. This is when dignified job opportunities should have begun rolling in. This is when the world should have taken notice that Caleb Wittebane was not dead.
But this was not the case.
What Philip did not anticipate was that the industry had changed significantly since the 80s. It was the year 2000 and a young Caleb Wittebane was not what the industry wanted the future of film to look like.
He realized this in his study late one night as he obsessed over old video tapes. And once the truth had sunk in, he called Hunter into the room.
Hunter remembers wearing red pajamas patterned with beagle puppies. He has a memory of liking those pajamas a lot but can't recall the disappointment of growing out of them and throwing them away. It makes him suspect that at some point he just stopped wearing them.
On that night, a part of Philip gave up completely. He decided that this attempt of reviving his late brother's career was a failure before it had even started.
However, Philip was a deeply complex man. A remarkably stubborn man. So even when a part of him died, another part flared with life. It was the part of him that wanted to dig his heels in and say he wasn't done yet. Maybe they didn't want Caleb now, but this world was fickle. Who knows what they'd want in five years? In ten?
Hunter would continue making a name for himself, Philip would make sure of that.
Hunter would be something special if it damn near kills him.
And if he fails, Philip would kill the boy himself.
So, Hunter continues working diligently, attempting to find his footing in the rapidly changing environment. The early 2000s seem to be working overtime to distance itself from the 90s and it certainly takes some getting used to.
When Hunter is around eleven, he is told for the first time that he is not very nice to look at. According to various make up artists and hair stylists who he is left in the custody of when Kiki is god knows where, it's very easy to be cute as a small child. Baby fat n' all. But at a certain age, you start outgrowing it and that's when it becomes apparent whether you're going to be a handsome young man or not.
They gently break the news that there are not a lot of promising signs for Hunter. As one of the women, maybe in her late twenties, cups his face in her hands and tilts it towards the light (he really hates when strangers touch him), she sucks through her teeth and winces, as though she's trying to dig something out with her eyes but is coming up short. Nothing about his features reads as a future leading man. He can still have a steady acting career of course. But it's important he not get his hopes up too high. He's doesn't look like the typical Hollywood star.
Hunter argues with her. He riles himself up until his face flushes with rage. He looks just like his father, who was one of the most famous leading men of all time.
"Who's your Dad?" The woman asks.
Hunter frowns. He's never said the word "Dad" in his life. But the full name is familiar on his tongue when he answers the question.
"Oh, yeah," She says vaguely. "I think my parents used to watch his movies. I guess he was what they considered handsome in the 80s but..."
He doesn't like the way she trails off. He doesn't like all the new information being presented to him. He doesn't like her saying Caleb Wittebane wasn't handsome. In the world Hunter lives in, the man is picture perfect in every discernable way. He's never heard a bad word spoken of his father before, not even of the shallow variety. Uncle only lets him speak to people with nice things to say about Caleb. It's so jarring that it makes him feel nauseous. This isn't the way things are supposed to be.
And what's even worse, does looking like Caleb Wittebane not even matter?
Does this legacy he's supposed to carry on not matter?
That's always been one of his biggest fears, but he can not think about it for too long or the meltdown gets bad. But this new realization about his apparently mediocre looks catch him so off guard that he can't help it this time.
Hunter proceeds to hyperventilate in a supply closet for the next twenty minutes. He had never thought about what he looked like before. He had never really cared. He didn't know his appearance could hinder his career. He didn't know everything could fall apart just by having the face he does.
This is when a deep seated insecurity centered around his body image began spiraling out of control. It was also around the time that Hunter's dietary restrictions were being implemented, as were the intensity of his ballet lessons. This certainly did not help his already deteriorating self confidence.
From that point, Hunter is far more conscious of his own ambitions as an actor. He believes he is more than just a little boy who performs because it's what his Uncle tells him to do. He's a young man who wants to become a success like his father before him. He wants recognition. He wants acclaim. He wants...he wants....he wants something that he does not currently have.
As an adult, Hunter can only drag his fingers through his hair and sigh sympathetically at the thought of his young self believing that his determination to be a successful was ever for himself. It was for Uncle. It was for Caleb Wittebane. It was for everybody but himself. He was just a stupid kid who thought he wanted this because he knew nothing else.
The 2000s are a time when Hunter simultaneously starts slipping out of his iron confines, while getting reeled back tighter than ever. As he grows older, his curiosity becomes more and more insatiable and current pop culture is not as easy to shield him from. Especially when it's such a huge part of his life as an actor.
By the age of twelve, he's such a boring obedient self sufficient little robot that Kiki doesn't even bother monitoring him as severely as she once had. What's he gonna do, really?
And though Hunter is adamant that he never breaks his Uncle's rules, he finds himself shattering them to smithereens on a regular basis.
"I like authority. And rules," He says, ignoring the fact that there are piles of teen magazines tucked away under his mattress. Ignoring the hour of TV he sneaked in that Philip would have shattered the television screen over.
And no matter how many times Hunter wrinkles his nose in disapproval at how rowdy and frivolous today's youth are, he's still reading those trashy articles, desperate to find some connection. His small bubble of worldliness is beginning to grow.
It is slowly occuring to Hunter that he is much different than other kids. But that's a good thing....right? He's on a cleaner path than they are. None of them are being led by Philip Wittebane.
This is a good thing, he tells himself. This is a good thing, this is a good thing, this is a good thing--
However, Philip does crack down on an aspect of Hunter's autonomy that has been mostly ignored until now.
Though he tries not to think about it, as it gives him the most splitting headache, Philip must internally acknowledge those rumors from an age ago. The word of mouth telephone that crackled with the events of that one ridiculous party. Caleb Wittebane, age 17(!!!!) with his tongue down some filthy girl's throat.
The news hadn't been as scandalous as Philip viewed it as, and the world forgot about it remarkably fast. But he never forgot. And he never would. It was a pesky stain on the otherwise clean image that Philip was trying to preserve.
It hadn't been Caleb. It wasn't like him at all to behave in such an indecent way. It was her influence. It always was. Sometimes his blood boiled when he remembered how deeply interwoven she had become in his brother's life. How the child wouldn't even exist without her. It was vile. Eternally contaminating a narrative she had no business being a part of.
Obviously, he never told Hunter about all this. About the party. About the tongue. About the girl. He never mentioned the girl. She was a footnote at best.
Anyway, Hunter was almost thirteen. He was tumbling into adolescence. And no matter how singleminded and sensible he tried to act, there would be challenges to this physical and mental development. And Philip knew from personal experience that there was nothing more damaging to a clean Christian boy than fizzling teenage hormones.
There would not be a repeat of last time.
On Hunter's thirteenth birthday, his Uncle gifted him a chastity ring, like many of the other young people that attended their church.
Hunter was so floored by the gift he forgot how to speak. And when his Uncle put his hand on his shoulder and murmured "I know you won't let me down," Hunter had nodded solemnly, suddenly feeling so much older than he had been a moment before.
He now had a responsibility to refrain from things he hardly understood.
Philip felt this would be an effective precaution. It made Hunter feel important and Hunter loved to feel important.
All that concerned Philip was that the boy stick to his morals.
Keeping his stupid tongue in his stupid mouth was only the tip of the iceberg of what the rules of the chastity ring entailed, but Philip stressed the importance of it nonetheless.
And if the boy failed to do this one simple thing, Philip was going to gouge his eyes out.
A few months later, Hunter was hired to appear in an advertisement produced by his family's church. He, and several other actors in his age range, promoted the rings they wore to the children watching at home.
Hunter was very proud to be a part of it. He rarely got to do anything educational.
When Hunter was fourteen, he surprisingly booked a role as Sir William in some medieval fantasy film for swoony teen girls.
He rolled his eyes over it, but this was the point when Philip made it apparent to Hunter that swoony teen girls was a huge chunk of the target demographic of any actor his age so he best begin pandering. He was no Edric Blight (Hunter fucking hated Edric Blight) but he'd probably appeal to some.
The means of obtaining the role was not Hunter's talent alone, but it was because of a perfectionist director who wanted raw, emotionally gripping action scenes, and was disappointed that all the hazardous exploits in the script would require stunt doubles. No parent in their right mind would allow their child to be put in such dangerous conditions.
Enter Philip Wittebane and his nephew Hunter.
The film's shooting schedule had a rough history. And after a few months, production had to stop altogether when an on-set accident resulted in Hunter being sent to the hospital.
He remembers the hospital, specifically the very uncomfortable bed. He remembers rarely sleeping through the night unless he was drugged, as he kept waking up with panic attacks about all the money he was causing the studio to lose by not healing faster.
By the time the film released, Hunter was fifteen and already moving forward with his next project.
The Golden Guard was a TV adaption of a well loved comic book series that was currently in the development stages. Hunter has never read the comic (he's never read most comics, other than newspaper funny pages) but he's been informed that he is the spitting image of the titular character.
Initially he was skeptical. Who wants a famous superhero on their screen who looks like him? Certainly not current networks who have a very limited view of what leading men should look like, regardless of the comic it's being adapted from.
Apparently, a lot of negotiations have been taking place with the Golden Guard's creator, in order to obtain rights to the series. After months of arguing, they wore him down, as they always manage to wear creators down, and he agreed to hand over his baby.
The one condition that he managed to secure was that the boy cast for the screen resembled the boy on the page.
Hunter was fully aware that if it weren't for that old man's stubbornness, there was no way he would have been eligible for the role. He remembered seeing him appear once during a screen test and had wanted to thank him. The speech that fell out of him was flustered and clumsy, but it made the man smile.
"There are going to massacre the Golden Guard," He said with a bitter smile. "But I think you'll do well."
He never saw him again after that. And though Hunter did not have the frame of reference to have an opinion, the girl he would inevitably fall in love with happened to be a huge comic book nerd, being especially infatuated with the Golden Guard. And her opinions were strong.
"He was right, y'know," She would inform Hunter. "Your show is a steaming pile of shit." She would then kiss the tip of his nose. "But you're the best part of it."
Speaking of girls,
Hunter met Emira Blight a year prior when she and her twin brother also showed up for the chastity ring promotional ad. The two of them would have gotten fired for vandalizing the set and pranking the director if they weren't the most well known stars associated with the project.
Someone had tried to contact their mother to come get her children under control but she had failed to pick up the phone.
"Our precious little Mittens has an audition today," Emira explained, hands placed angelically behind her back.
"Until further notice, Mom has forgotten she has two other kids," Added Edric.
Emira smiled. "Like the next time she notices her stretch marks <33"
The two of them burst into giggles. They were left to be "disciplined" by members of the crew, who hadn't the faintest idea how to handle either of them.
Hunter had tried to avoid them while on set. He never had any personal encounters with them but he was well aware of their existence. They had been starring in twin centric comedies for the last decade or so, and were beloved talk show guests for being chatty, mischievous and overall "adorable."
Hunter found them obnoxious.
Edric more so than Emira. Especially lately, as the two were finally branching out into their own separate careers, rather than remaining a double act. Meaning Edric could be found sniffing around in the same auditions rooms as Hunter, going for the same roles.
Edric had a perfectly structured face, devoid of blemishes. He had the most photoshopped nose Hunter had ever seen, except he looked like that in real life apparently. He looked perfect and he was already a star to begin with. The roles were his the moment he stepped into the room.
But this wasn't about Edric. Edric was off somewhere else, performing the leading role in some teen musical movie that was going to become a worldwide phenomenon the moment it hit television screens.
This was about Emira, who had just been cast as Ruby Green, the Golden Guard's love interest.
Emira Blight was one of the most beautiful teenage girls in the entire world. Hunter knew this because he read it in a magazine once. More specifically, she placed 4th on the list, but that was still a pretty impressive accomplishment.
Hunter always had a difficult time deciphering the exact definition of beautiful. It was apparently a far different thing than what you would initially imagine.
From what he had gathered, it had nothing to do with being particularly interesting to look at, but having a nice and tidy face with all its features being a specific size and shape. He couldn't understand how one girl on that list could be in 8th place, while another could be in 3rd, as they all looked so startlingly similar.
That was what beautiful meant, he supposed.
There were definitely people that Hunter saw as beautiful in their own peculiar way. In the way that wasn't correct. Sometimes he saw them in movies from the 80s-90s. Sometimes he saw them in audition rooms, but they rarely booked the role.
Sometimes he even saw them on the street as the car drove past, people who made him sit up and want to look at them a little longer--
Girls. Girls on the street. Just girls. Only girls. It was only girls that he looked at on the street. It was only girls that he looked at ever.
Emira Blight had Edric's perfectly structured face, which made her beautiful in a celebrity kind of way, but also made Hunter want to look at her less. She had Rapunzel hair and a rail thin frame and, much to Hunter's dismay, she was taller than him.
The wardrobe department were given notes to add an extra few inches to the Golden Guard's boots.
"Little Prince indeed," The head stylist had murmured under his breath, just loud enough for Hunter to hear. An furious flush set his face aflame.
There were no screen test to determine Hunter and Emira's chemistry before the latter was cast, which resulted in hours of reshoots where they were chastised for the lack of romantic tension that they were putting into their performance.
To be perfectly honest, Hunter disliked Emira quite a bit and she disliked him too.
She carried her troublemaking tendencies from the promotional ad to the Golden Guard set, frequently wreaking havoc on the cast and crew.
Hunter had blown a gasket and berated her for it several times, but all she had done was smile her insufferable smile, roll her eyes and sing songingly tease him for being so uptight.
She made him mad. So uncomfortably mad. If he pulled the kind of stunts she pulled, without caring about the consequences, he would probably be dead by now.
Emira rarely got angry. Everything she did had this air of impish joy, but based on the way she spoke to Hunter, her opinion of him wasn't exactly glowing.
She called him arrogant, bossy, egotistical, to which he practically exploded in response. And then she made fun of how red in the face he got.
The only time Hunter ever saw Emira as anything less than her usual bombastic self was early in the morning, during hair and makeup.
"Are you washing your face, honey?"
"Yes," Answered Emira, looking smaller than ever in the makeup chair.
"Drinking plenty of water? Eating healthy? Staying away from junk food? Getting plenty of exercise?"
"Yes, yes, yes and yes," Emira's voice was quiet and automatic.
After a pause, she continued "It's not my fault."
The makeup artist hummed, unconvinced, which made Emira grip the seat so hard her fingers shook.
But the woman didn't push the matter any more and got to work on painting Emira's face into the porcelain masterpiece that made its way on to magazines.
Hunter watched in fascination as a few minutes of work with sponges and brushes wiped her skin clear of acne. And then she was what everyone around here would call beautiful once again.
When Emira noticed him looking, she said, in her usual playfully indifferent voice "I think Hunter's eyebags are getting worse."
"We know," The woman replied, exasperated.
The comment wasn't much, but it successfully corralled Hunter into his default mood. Not being enough. Any thoughts about Emira flew out the window, and he was back to fretting about his own inadequacy.
"And he's more sickly looking than usual," Emira decided to add.
"Well, maybe if he laid off the coffee. It's got him looking like a half-dead ghoul. No wonder it takes so long to make him look presentable."
It was a bad time for Hunter to be taking a sip of his takeaway cup. He frowned. "I've been awake since 4:30am."
"You should go to bed earlier then,"
"But I--"
"And kids shouldn't be drinking coffee at all."
"I'm not a kid!"
"Hush up. We've got work to do on this face and the last thing I need is to listen to you bitching again,"
Hunter glowered at her.
"You're gonna have wrinkles before you're 18 if you keep pouting like that."
He was so preoccupied with not throwing a temper tantrum that he didn't notice Emira leave the room.
The worst thing she ever did was while they were filming episode 3 and she had decided that Hunter's uptight behaviour deserved a humbling punishment. He didn't know how but she had somehow managed to break into his trailer and scavenged the place for something embarrassing.
This resulted in his stuffed frog Sprig being paraded around the set in Emira's arms as she declared the toy's owner to everyone who would listen in a high pitched trill. Everybody. She told everybody. Everybody knew about his toy. And now nobody was going to treat him seriously.
And when Hunter finally processed what was happening, all he had wanted to do was cry.
But he couldn't cry. Because fifteen year old boys don't cry. But he wanted to cry so badly that his usual screaming rage was nonexistent. He was just completely deflated.
He silently took the frog from Emira's possession and walked away. She had seemed confused, not understanding why he was not turning his funny red colour and yelling his head off.
She didn't bait him as much after that. She rarely spoke to him at all, outside of filming.
At one point she had randomly burst into his trailer, brandishing a magazine full of women in bikinis.
"For you!" She announced proudly. "A gift."
Hunter was a little slow on the uptake because a bikini magazine being within ten feet of his person was so incriminating that immediately thinking of the consequences nearly made him black out.
When he could speak again, he exploded "ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?? GET THIS OUT OF HERE!!"
"No, no, listen," Emira insisted. "I know your Uncle is like. Super Christian--"
"So am I!"
"And I know you're never gonna get your hands on this stuff by yourself. So, I'm helping,"
"Why do you even have this?" Hunter demanded, disgusted.
Emira took more than half a second to answer. "It's Ed's."
As if anything on earth could have made Hunter want to touch the thing less.
"Why..." He began, lost. "Why would you ever think I would want this?"
Emira cocked her head at him, puzzled. "You're a boy."
"Get out."
At the time, Hunter had presumed this to be another means of humiliating him, because he had quickly written Emira off as inexplicably cruel. But in hindsight, she had probably just been trying, in her own emotionally stunted way, to apologize to him. She had known next to nothing about boys and she knew even less about herself, other than she was a thing boys were meant to be obsessed with.
They were both just stupid kids who couldn't communicate properly to save their lives, because they had never learned how.
As a child, Emira ranged from a mild bully to an indifferent co-star, to an acquaintance of Hunter's. As an adult, she was the close friend in his Instagram comments section who kept hitting on his wife.
She still never figured out boys, but she figured out herself.
But again, getting ahead of ourselves.
Despite being the only two teenagers on set, Hunter and Emira did not spend much time together unless they were working. Once she settled down and stopped causing problems, Emira spent a lot of her time across the studio to visit her little sister, who was filming some preteen comedy show.
Hexside it was called. Some some vapid sugary husk of a television production that had magic and witches, yet not an ounce of dignity. Hunter had become quite a ruthless critic when it came to TV and film, mostly because he had spent his whole life in the company of a man with sky high standards.
It also helped him feel better about his own work as an actor. The glass half full method. Maybe the Golden Guard was not going to be the most brilliant show of all time, but at least he wasn't working on Hexside.
He had caught glimpses of Emira's sister a few times around the studio, mostly because her hair had been dyed a bright garish teal, so she was impossible to miss.
There were other cast members scattered about, you could usually tell from the explosion of layers and clashing patterns they were dressed in. Chunky belts, brightly coloured converse, weird pointy hats, jangly jewelry. They were a visual overload.
On one occasion, Hunter was waiting in line at the canteen. He was feeling lightheaded again, like if he didn't eat something in the next hour he would probably pass out while shooting. The last time that happened, it was really embarrassing.
He was a little zoned out, so he didn't pay them much attention at first. But then the poofy tutu-like skirt and zebra print leggings caught his eye, if only for him to wonder how in the Lord's name these young actors ever signed up for this ridiculous show.
It was a girl and a boy and their conversation entailed some familiar words and names that Hunter hadn't heard said in months.
Ah. The movie. The swoony teen girl movie. That had just released in theaters, hadn't it?
That's when the girl brazenly stated "I wanna sink my teeth into Sir William," successfully knocking Hunter straight out of the realm of sensibility.
What. In the name of all that is holy. Is that supposed to mean???
And also.....he's Sir William.
"You want to BITE ME??" Hunter finds himself blurting out, completely flummoxed. Was that a threat of violence? Did she not like his performance? Did she find his voice annoying like those other film critics? He used to get a lot of death threats for that when he was younger but...
It didn't really sound like a death threat. It was was just....absurd. How was he supposed to take this?
The girl whipped around, flashing Hunter with a very bright pair of green eyes. They were blown wide in panic, and she looked at him like he was the one about to bite her.
(He wasn't about to bite her.)
The girl wasn't tall, but she was big. Broad shoulders and a thick chubby build. Her face was rounder than he usually saw in young actresses, and her nose was wide and flat.
All he could really think as he was digesting these all details at once was....she was interesting to look at.
Hunter watched as a fluorescent shade of pink burned across her lightly freckled cheeks and the girl scurried away, flanked by the younger boy, calling after her.
For some reason, Hunter turned around to watch her leave until she was completely out of sight.
He was left more confused than ever.
What did he do that deserved biting? He never found out.
(Well, he found out eventually but....)
He continued to see that girl around the studio sometimes, as well as the young boy that accompanied her, and Emira's little sister.
The bigger girl usually tried to hide whenever she saw him, though Hexside's flamboyant wardrobe department made that nearly impossible. Hunter presumed she was embarrassed by what she said, though he really wasn't all that offended. He had heard way worse. The thing that drew his attention to her was actually the lengths she would go to to make herself invisible. He watched her dive under a table once.
Hunter usually just stared, not remembering until an hour later that embarrassed people don't like being stared at.
Eventually, Hunter and Emira started spending occasional school hours with the Hexside cast's tutor, which resulted in them all being lumped in a room together.
Her name was Willow Park, he learned. And with a little exposure therapy, she stopped blushing every time he was within ten feet of her. Though they still never really talked, she seemed to become a little more comfortable with his existence.
She didn't look at him much though. Or anybody for that matter. She seemed to be very guarded and closed off whenever they were in the school room. Hunter had also noticed that the tutor had to spend more time with her than anyone else.
But Willow Park was not currently where Hunter's head was at the moment. He had other things to deal with.
The recent Golden Guard script had been delivered to Hunter and did not really like what it had to say.
Apparently several episodes of the romantic tension that Hunter and Emira were famously bad at was finally coming to fruition in this big grand dramatic kiss scene.
Hunter did not think about kissing much because it made him feel very weird and squirmy, but he was always well aware that if he was ever kissing a girl anytime soon, it would probably be circumstances like this.
His opinion on romance in general is that he wasn't quite sure if it was something that could really happen in real life or if it was just a concept made up for TV.
First kisses were considered a milestone in the shows and magazines Hunter had secretly devoured. Something sacred and significant. It can't be with just anyone.
Admittedly, it had Hunter second guessing himself a little bit. Is his first kiss important? Or is that just a bunch of silly TV fluff with no grounds in reality?
It doesn't matter if it's Emira, does it? He's read books where first kisses are supposed to feel like you've been electrocuted. But in a good way. He can't imagine being electrocuted in a good way.
He gets his answer on the day of shooting when the kiss is ordered of him.
He should be grateful that they've been directed to keep it chaste. They both wear rings after all, and this is a family show.
Hunter squeezed his eyes shut, because eyes are always shut when people kiss in movies. And his mouth pricks Emira's mouth. And that's it. That's his first kiss over and done with.
And when he opens his eyes, a little underwhelmed and vaguely wondering why everything feels the exact same, Emira looks disappointed too.
That's when he realizes that the significance of first kisses is all lights and cameras. It's made up for TV. None of it is real.
But what he can't understand in the moment is why he feels a bit sad. There's no reason to feel sad.
But it's an annoyingly heavy emotion that sticks with him for the rest of the day.
They do a million shoots. Or what feels like a million. Hunter kisses Emira what feels like a million times. He had gone from having never kissed before to having kissed far too many times in one day.
And not a single kiss felt like anything but the usual emptiness that Hunter was used to.
During shooting breaks, he thought a little too much about how everything was just going to be like this. Forever. All of his experiences. Scripted. Made up. Not real.
Nothing was ever going to be real.
He didn't usually think about things like that. But now he was finding it hard to think about anything else.
Hunter couldn't sleep that night. You would think he'd sleep soundly when he had to get up before the crack of dawn, but he continued to struggle. Too much caffeine, too much brain bees that never shut up.
Tonight it was that one single thought of an entirely artificial lifetime.
Hunter was never going to be real.
After hours of restless tossing and turning, he left his bed and went downstairs, his footsteps expertly navigating across the creaky floorboards. He would watch something terrible on TV and he'd get so distracted by hating it that he'd forget his own problems.
After pushing a button, the first thing that appeared on Hunter's screen was a familiar girl's rounder than average face and bright green eyes.
Apparently, the Hexside Pilot had premiered recently. Hunter scoffed, making himself comfortable and deliberately tuning into whatever brain rotting stuff he was about to experience.
Unsurprisingly, he hated it. It was terrible. Cheap jokes. Flimsy plots. An obnoxious laugh track. He had never seen a worse show in his life.
Nothing is real, I'm not real, I'm not real, Nothing is real, I'm not real....
The costumes looked just as ridiculous on screen as they did in the studio.
Nothing is real....
The sets were cheap.
I'm not real....
Hunter abruptly paused mid laugh track, and stared at Willow Park's interesting face for an additional moment.
He knew absolutely nothing about this girl. Absolutely nothing.
The character she played was borderline illiterate, and Hunter genuinely could not say how much of her he was seeing was a script and how much was her.
But she was very lookable.
Are you real?

Hello! How are you? I wanted to make a request if it dosent bothers you, about headcanons of genya, sanemi and yorichi with a s/o that has a personality like maxi from the novel under the oak tree, like, reader is a person with a speech disability, which has manifested in early childhood, reader stutters and has a difficult time communicating, due this has a very shy personality, partially due to the fact that has been abused by their father since childhood. Reader believes themself to be inferior to others, especially to beautyfull and smart people. Reader is left with the trauma that their father gave them and they flinches every time anyone raises their voice.
Reader was reinforced with the idea that was worthless and useless all their life, and has therefore carried this notion within even into adulthood and deeply resents for not being able to be as strong as wants to be, as thinks that nobody will ever want them and would they understand why.Reader is easily scared and rattled, is often anxious on how she will act and how others will perceive them, as is worried that people will see them as nothing but a lazy and useless stutterer. Reader is a very private person who rarely tells anyone about their past, and sees themselves and their abuse as shameful and they despises the thought of people seeing them as even more pitiful and weak.
reader also gets flustered easily, even discussing intimate moments with their partner when they are alone can cause them to blush uncontrollably. When someone manages to get their trust reader is a timid and kind person, is soft-spoken and polite to everyone who is kind to them and treat their partner with kindness and respect.
Im really sorry for writting a whole bible 😭 😭 😭
with a shy, abused reader !!
(gn! reader, reader is sanemi’s tsugoku in genya and sanemis)
warning: mentions of food, raising voice, fighting, weird pet names?
a/n: KYAAAABEUSBDI!! thank you for the request! I’ll do my best to serve your creative ideas 🫡 btw I’m good and if this took long sorry 😰 this is in second person!
characters: genya, sanemi
summary: how will they create a relationship? slowly? quickly? lets see :)
GENYA
He kinda learned the tough way when he learned you were were sensitive. 😨
Genya just gets it. You remind him of his siblings when he first got to know you, he likes it when you make effort to accompany him 🙃
But at the same time, he feels angry how could someone do this to a beautiful face like yours?
No one will hurt you again, and Genya will make sure he’ll be with you every step of the way of your life. (yandere? 😰)
Genya’s overprotective of you, he’s scared something or someone will hurt you. Even a small hello with Tanjiro, what if you slip? He can’t have that :(
Genya started slowly with affection such as love notes, holding hands (kinda) and headpats ohh how he loves headpats 🤭
He believes that you need ✨princess treatment✨ and those will be headpats and compliment
Headpats are a must for everything, they’re like his way of saying “Well done! I love you 🫶” so he pats you everytime you do anything right or cute
COMPLIMENTS MY GOSHH
He won’t hesitate to give anyone a big, fat slap on the face if they hurt his darling 😡
He did raise his voice at you one time for getting to curious, and asking about his childhood. This left you insecure and Genya actually comforted you and didn’t leave you to sulk in the corner like others did 🥺
One time he actually spoke his mind and asked you how many kids you want. 💀Which ended up in him having a tomato coloured s/o 🤕
“Maybe, they’ll have your hair colour :)”
Sanemi
Two words, Not. Good.
At first, he thought you were just a shy weirdo who didn’t know how to socialise 🤨
But then he got to know you slowly! Kinda like Genya but worse. 😀 Anyway, your first training session together was straightforward but awkward.
Your second was better, he soon understood your body language better than you. One time, he looked at your face just one time maybe he’ll get to see that face around more.. I MEAN!-
He thinks your as comforting as his mother, and underneath all that insecurity and fake happiness is a whole lot of fun like his siblings 😋 Not like he’ll ever tell you that.
Sanemi actually can cook really well! He just asks you to teach him, as he finds this as an act of intimacy. When you see his food is surprisingly good, you give him a questioning look and he shrugs it off and says “Your a good teacher” and he offers you some food. 🥙
The way you communicate to him is head tilting, looks, shrugs and all of that other stuff after finding out that he understands you. ❤️ So when you quietly stutter out to him that you love his scars, it means a lot to him and he quietly responds with a “Love you too, Dummy”
When you open up to him about your childhood, or how they beated you, he just nods and asks if you want to train.
he DOES NOT tolerate ANY disrespect, or any playful scaring. If he ends up with a tear - stained cheek s/o you bet there’s gonna be a white-haired person barking outside your window 😶
“If anyone disrespects you, you come straight to me or you kick them in the balls. Got it?”
Overall, they both love you ❤️ (Sorryy there’s no Yorichii!

Oh my god, I loved your ej x reader storyyy, loved his possessiveness
I'd love to see more ej stuffff, I just don't have any specific story idea in my mind I could send in?
Preacher's Daughter (Prologue)
And I'd love to give it to you! I'm thinking of making the preacher's daughter into a series, maybe even a book on wattpad if you guys would be interested, let me know in the comments! Here's a little teaser for what I had in mind! I'm going to try and make Y/N as little detailed as possible, but I'm thinking of making this character into an oc, so stay tuned for that eventually! The oc will likely be what the wattpad story is on, but i will make an x reader version for here!
This little teaser is set before the events of the preacher's daughter fic, basically how Jack and Y/N met. It's not the full thing and less detailed, but I thought it was cute.
Eyeless Jack x Fem!Reader
Content Warnings: None really, mentions of religion (Bible) awkward teenage interactions duhh.
Request: Yes / No
Jack had always noticed her. The shy, sweet girl that always had her nose in her text books, or her bible that she carried around everywhere in her mini backpack that served as her purse.
Y/N L/N was her name, Jack never understood why he liked her. He wasn't a religious person by any means, she was just... different.
All the other girls at the college they attended to were bitchy, or slutty, or just not his type. Not that he ever really minded that, he wasn't going to be the idiot that gets a girl knocked up at a party.
He chewed at the tip of his pen, not paying attention to the teachers recap of the lecture from the day prior as he already had finished his work. Jack was always like that, he did his best to get his work done early so he'd have time to relax and do what he wanted during his free time.
He watched her as she re-read her bible for seemingly the millionth time that semester. He wondered what was so interesting about that damn book. Did she write little notes in it like she did her schoolwork? did she have certain parts highlighted with those pastel highlighters she loved to use?
His mind drifted to her appearance, her H/L H/C hair sat perfectly, her white turtle neck blouse pressed with no wrinkles tucked neatly under her mid-calf length blue dress with white flowers printed on the soft looking fabric. Sat in between her collar bones, was always that silver cross necklace he'd never seen her without. She always looked so... pristine, flawless, perfect even.
His thoughts were interrupted when the teacher called for everyone's attention for new things they were going to be taught. He huffed and pulled out his note book, wishing that class would end sooner.
When the bell rang, three girls he'd seen around before, his roommates girlfriend, one of her friends, and a girl named Jenny, all ran up to Y/N. Bubbling and Gossiping about their latest excursions at the party they had went to the night before. They wondered off out of the class, but before Jack followed them out he noticed that bible, sitting abandoned at Y/N's desk.
"Must've forgot to grab it." he thought to himself before weaving through the desks and picking it up, carefully tucking it into his bag. He sighed and weaved his way back through the desks, exiting the class door and through the mass of students in the hall. It certainly wasn't an insane amount of people, but enough for the halls to be comparable to a zoo.
He eventually spotted the three girls, he watched as Y/N's two friends bided their goodbye's and headed to their respective classes. He moved quickly towards her, and tapped her on the shoulder, causing the girl to jump startledly.
"Oh, Hi jack." Y/n says, a warm smile on her face.
"Hey, y/n." He smiled back at her, starring into her e/c eyes for a moment before clearing his throat and reaching into his bag.
"You left this on your desk, I figured you wouldn't want to lose it." he hummed, holding out the small bible to her. Her eyes lit up in confusion before realizing she had forgotten it.
"Thank you, my lord I didn't even realize." She gently took it from his hands, fingers lingering on his for a little too long.
She swings her bag over her shoulders before unzipping it, carefully sliding the bible into its rightful place amongst the clutter in the small bag.
"It's no problem" Jack smiles, before adjusting his own bag.
"So um, can I walk you to class?" He asks, nodding his head in the direction of the classroom down the hallway.
She smiles and nods. The two walk down the hallway and bid their goodbyes before she walks in, Jack watching her from the doorway.

Hey, i’d like to hear some of your bakudeku/katsudeku headcannons since i saw some and they’re so cute😭💞i love your art so much, it’s amazingg keep it up!!
ty !!! 🙏
I'll be honest I don't really have any headcanons off the top of my head. I have to think really hard about those I like but usually I can point at a preexisting one and go "haha yes I like this one" without thinking of it myself =v=
I think my biggest hc rn - and it's kind of controversial bc ik ppl have different opinions on it - is that deku is just flat out gay. like that's his sexuality, he only likes men. I used to hc him as bi and I campaigned pretty hard for it, and regarding fandom ships I still don't mind shipping him with girls. (tbh with fandom ships, I kind of just disregard a character's sexuality hc entirely bc I'm a multishipper who thinks crack ships are fucking great.)
but vibe wise, as well as putting canon into perspective, he just feels so gay to me. he screams comphet. he's got some vague internalized homophobia where he's totally supportive if u're gay, but HE'S not gay. and there's no way he can be even though he very well could be. like just think about it. he was really only so shy and nervous around girls bc he's literally never interacted with one casually before high school. and after he got close to 1A and could, you know, talk to women, he lost any deeper attraction in them. literally what happened with him and ochako. that's just how I feel anyway, but he won't admit his natural drift towards men (bkg) and his emotional hangups on men (bkg). he hangs out with men (bkg) way too much for him to have any serious interest in women imo
anyway this is just my take, you can hc deku as whatever sexuality you want!!! I still think bi deku has so much flavor like yass be the disaster bi u were meant to be!!! but gay deku just speaks more to me nowadays, I guess
ok upon thinking long and hard, I have come up with these silly hcs as well:
they are both bad at verbalizing their feelings. dk is overall horrible with emotions that pertain to himself so he just doesn't dwell on his very obvious crush on bkg. he just thinks that it's normal to be obsessed with another man. like lol hes been doing it since he was a baby. it's not anything more. he is NOT gay. straight men can appreciate everything about another man and more! just bestie things! and bkg has accepted in his heart that he is gay for dk but u are NOT going to hear him say it. sorry but that man does not know how to even start a convo about this. he'd probably want to, but knows he'd fuck it up and dk would miss the point. he'd probably just tell dk to fight him and then make out somewhere down the line bc it's easier and less embarrassing to him. little does he know, HE'S embarrassing and I hate him.
so u know the whole "bkg is an early bird and dk is a night owl" hc? and how it's technically canonically wrong? yeah. I'm obsessed with how wrong it is. bkg going to bed early and waking up late is so real of him. he just really fucking loves to sleep, and dk is the exact opposite. man goes to bed late and wakes up at 5 in the morning. he gets like 3 hours of sleep maximum and he's functioning perfectly. god I wish I were him
that one adhd vs autism meme but it's bkdk. u get to choose which ones which. maybe they're both
dk has dimples, one on each cheek! maybe bkg has one too. who knows
this is one I just thought of right now but it's like. part of the fandom bible that bkg can cook and dk cannot. however. I think dk can cook ok - fine enough to sustain himself - but bake REALLY WELL. bkg can cook bc he's "a natural" who can easily figure out exactly how to cook and spice foods. he doesnt need to follow a recipe to a T, he can just figure it out himself. dk can bake bc I'd imagine baking, with their meticulous recipe requirements, are easier to comprehend for him. he takes a shitton of notes on the daily, u can't tell me he'll eagerly read and jot down shit so his pastries turn out well. he'd prefer following step by step than winging it. does this make sense. words are hard
I always like drawing bkdk pretty close in height. ik lots of bkdks like a height difference but I prefer when rivals are pretty equal, and that includes how tall they are
dk's hands are coarser than bkg's, except around the palms, where bkg canonically has thick skin (so I'd assume there's some callouses there)
I like to think that bkg is good at basically anything, considering how he's a perfectionist. give him something to do and one week to do it, and he'll have a new skill under his belt. but there's a few things he can't do that trip him up so bad and make him so angry. like to me he definitely doesn't know how to whistle or roll his Rs. he just physically cannot. they're such pointless abilities but he hates how he can't do them. especially bc dk can definitely do both
dk keeps calling bkg "kacchan" bc it reminds him of a simpler time :') it makes him feel more connected to bkg than he initially is, and tacitly tells the class that he knows bkg best. also bc bkg never told him to stop so like ... why should he stop now. lol. and ALSO bc he's waiting to see how far he can go before bkg snaps. little does he know, bkg never snaps about "kacchan" bc that's dk's name for him. it reminds him that dk is always there, always calling out for him. and recently, it's a reassurance that he's still here, against all odds
ending this list with a classic but dk's favorite food is katsudon bc it reminds him of kacchan's name (KATSUdon vs KATSUki)
hope this is a good enough hc list anon!
#asks for becki#there are probably some really obvious ones im missing#bakudeku#bkdk#becki rambles about stuff

Cursed dating profile
Ok guys, i have no idea how I have stumbled onto something like this, but I need to post about it.
I was scrolling through a small dating app call "Boo" and got a profile which is... it's bad. It makes my flight our fight go off, hundreds of alarm bells.
(I translated the text with DeepL because I can't be bothered to do it myself. I'm german but his way of writing feels so... incoherent? Wrong? Also like he was on drugs???)
Search here for true love and often read that it has become a rarity. I often see how it exists in everyone in one way or another. Hm, and I want to find her, my dream woman. I write a lot to reach her. I miss her. Pants up, sweater down, cuddling. So much more. I show myself meticulously here. I know that. Women and men tell me “show me you don't need her, then she'll come”… doesn't feel right. I admit, I'm less well without her. That's why I've been writing a love letter for months. I haven't touched myself for six months. No more desire? I'm full of fantasies of sexual togetherness in privacy. The love letter is perverse. I'm waiting for her and I realize that, as strange as it may sound, every day in my head, in bed, in my stomach and in my shorts. It's honest and so much about my character. I try to be very honest and that's hard. Faithful. That because I want my wife with me so much that I write about. www.frau-wundervoll-liest.de … What does the last picture on the “Intimate around the clock” page say? I want to get to know her. Even closer. Because then who sees me with love. Hopefully I'll find out who I'm making this love letter puzzle website for. If you need help, write to me. Good luck and all the best
Here are a few hurdles I encountered on the way to finding her. She reads, is elegant, is faithful, loving, has decency and likes some intensities of eroticism very much. How do I describe her character trait to show her how much we fit together? Show how much I like it too? That I catch her eye? without scaring her away
Describe eroticism with a heart in a lovely, loving way. I want her full attention. Crotch-warm (??????) head love, eyes in view, legs felt, hair seen, bottom touched. Preference. Physically. Berolle. Lovingly. Feel my lip, stay with me. Mountains, brooks, basket, pit, cork, construction bump. Lip fill. Bend. Pull, high mountain reach. Come, sea come. Love.
We speak quite differently. The texts perhaps roughly describe our nature, which lives its true beauty far beyond that.
I am looking for a woman who wants to be with me. Constantly. Who wants to love me in her relationship, as her husband, her own boyfriend and best friend all in one. Seduces me playfully and focuses on me. Wants to be and stay young with me. Looking for our shoulders when we cry. Intrusively affectionate. Love long walks. Laugh. Love each other.
I can love particularly well and be terribly shy. Does this sentence make sense if it's true? How difficult it is for me to find the right thing, the barrel of words…Difficult sentence structure, oh intelligence. A woman who scares others away and opens the door for me while I remain her gentleman. Leads me to bed, lies down with me, holds my hand and looks me in the eye. A woman who extends our time together, not shortens it. A woman who cares about love as much as I do. A woman who wants to cuddle and pull me back into bed when I get up. A woman who likes the warmth of my body and makes me happy. Crotch warm..head love. A woman who wants to focus completely on me. A dream woman for her dream man. Body language, movements, touch, sensitive despite beauty, full of healthy, protected jealousy. We want to find her.
Halbe Bible, ganzer Hurensohn. (half of a bible, a full on asshole)
Mind you, this man is 27. how, how the fuck. What is going on? Ok so to the web side (which looks like ass), for a love letter to his dream woman.
A fairy tale, baptized into truth. Love. So many are looking for. A hyper-intimate fairy tale, designed for 2 adults? A sweet one for a couple. Love should feel beautiful. Falling in love should tingle. Flirting should be fun, even if you're shy. Love. The reins of two lovers love together in firm hands. Hand in hand. Leaf in front of your mouth, get wet, woman of my life, love of my life, take it from my lips and lead our relationship together. A hot sweeper is looking for his enchanting cleaning fairy. Secretly places half-full cups on the edge of the table. The peppercorns drip onto the floor. Not too dirty, not too messy. Sometimes you need to clean. With feeling. With love. Secret and obvious love letters. This is the beginning of both of our stories, crushes on the future, vacation destinations, poetry “We” and also, yes… lots and lots of eroticism. A strange feeling to read about it so publicly? That's fine, even after happy dates you should go to your safe haven and away from the public, into the privacy of loving togetherness. Love is. Your bodies stay together in the garage and the two of you drive yourselves to happiness. This guy here can be very shy. Protective purpose. A self-assured insecurity. Full of previously contained intimate, physically sensual desires and needs. At the same time, seek love in a partnership that makes attachment, affection, jealousy, concentration and a tendency to isolate together with your partner not a problem, but much more a beautiful lifestyle and love style of two lovers come true. Is that your story? No short fun, much more long-lasting love. Seems like a very warm potato and wants to be kept warm. Stay warm.
Btw this sounds a loooot better than it does in German. Maybe it's also the translator which makes his word vomit into something readable but dear lord. I hate the word ick. I really do. But this? This is giving me the ICK
I'm almost tempted to write him just to find out what kind of person he has to be to act this way. But like I said, he makes me want to run away and my gut feeling are mostly on point.

Characters for one of my original stories called Inner Demons. Note that I only take inspiration from the Christian bible, some parts of the story are similar to the lore while others are completely different. My designs and characters have very little to do with their counterparts, so do not see them as the same.
King of Pride: Luc Noa Na
Pronouns: L-oo-s N-ō N-æ
A demon whose title fits his attitude. The eldest of the siblings and third only by the Emperor and The One, only thing which he is less then is in height, but who ever comments on that will be shown how he leaves no survivors.
He is closest to Za Zou Noe but will make sure not to admit it. Hates because called an angel for his wings. HATES angel, except for one- but that doesn’t matter anymore. Is never anywhere without his most trusted servant. 5’5 ft.
King of Greed: Ma Mi Mon
Pronouns: M-a M-ē M-on
A towering demon who is has mountains of gold just to bury sinners in them. As the second eldest of the siblings, he speaks the most openly to Luc Noe Na, but he knows his place. He is actually quite modest but enjoys torturing humans with what they can’t have.
Him and As Mo Tel are the mean girls of the group. He likes to play with his horn rings and his beads. Only wears the gifts his siblings have given him.
King of Lust: As Mo Tel
Pronouns: A-z M-ō T-ell
A demon who loves to torture sinners almost as much as her siblings. As the third eldest, she is the one who keeps the peace and stops infighting, with out her, most of ******** would have burned down by now.
Is a big fan of romance novels. Actually very much dislikes lust. Hangs out with Ma Mi Mon and Za Zou Noe the most. Has a very deep masculine voice.
King of Envy: Lev Than Ou
Pronouns: L-ē-v Th-an õ
A large demon who mostly stays in his domain but is completely willing to change forms to see the goings on. The middle child of the siblings who likes to push his luck with his older brothers. He also lets his two adopted sons live on earth so they understand human society better.
Favorite past time is to embarrass Za Zou Noe in public by loudly screaming how much he loves her. Likes to chill with Be Ize Bu. Likes to take trinkets that he finds in earth’s waters. Does commonly swim in earth’s oceans.
King of Gluttony: Be Ize Bu
Pronouns: B-ē Ī-z B-oo
A interesting demon who is just doing his job. He see humans almost like pandas, no matter how much angels and they try and save their species, they just keep making it harder. Has the fifth sibling, he sometimes gets overshadowed by his other siblings, but he doesn’t mind.
Likes to hand out with Lev Than Ou. Sometimes puts the sinners he hates in to his chest hole to feed of them.
King of Sloth: Bel Ge Gor
Pronounces: B-ell G-ē G-or
The largest of all the siblings in size and intelligence. Doesn’t need to do much since she can pray on the weak members of society with only her thoughts. Even though she’s the sixth eldest, her plans are always taken as the main plan in any strategy.
Doesn’t hang out with most of her siblings other then Za Zou Noe. Always has her Adopted son by her side.
And finally, last but not least….
King of Wrath: Za Zou Noe
Pronouns: Z-a Z-oo N-ō
Our main character, the not so wrathful king. She is the society weakest of the kings for not fitting in to the sins might. Is close to all of her siblings. The baby of the family and the favorite child. Has been harder for her to keep her self motivated after the war… after she di- better to not look back, for she can never forget. And even if other demons call her too soft, she will make sure that sinners and oath breakers will see true pain, for there is nothing false in the words of demons.
Is the kindest out of the kings and treats humans with an equal respect. Most a shy demon who would prefer to talk through situations than fight. Is the only demon allowed to enter Heaven. The only people who can calm her down are As Mo Tel and her jester.

I’m too shy to dm but I Am asking you about your fallout OCs, as your bio said ^__^
HELLO I AM GOIGN TO KISE YOU THABK U FOR ASKING ‼️‼️‼️‼️ sorry it took me so long to respond (I had to figure out how to draw them all... phew) and there are sooooo many more BUT these are the ones I actually care about rn (cause all I've been playing is fnv) ok now buckle up because it's a lot 💀
Andy (she/her) is my favvvvvv fallout oc. she's one of four player characters from the fallout dnd campaign I'm in !! I've posted about her like once maybe twice before but she's the loml cringefail rodeo girl and I would do ANYTHING for her. she cannot do social interactions to save her life and I swear all the odds are rigged against her it's so funny. the coolest thing though is she made her own GIANT Giddyup Buttercup to ride!! she grew up in a little rodeo-centered town in Oregon so that was kind of her thing to like. fit in. cause she never really had any friends, so she's like "well, if i can't be liked, then I'll make myself useful" but it didn't really work so when she was old enough she left to hopefully be helpful in other places instead :3 (which is where the campaign comes in in Washington but I can yap about that some other time)
I also lovvveeee Sal (any pronouns) he's an ichthyologist who grew up in southeastern Alaska. while he was out fishing though, he came across a seemingly abandoned cruise ship and decided to board, only to find there were quite a few inhabitants (ghouls, humans, ferals) already! they end up staying and making their home there for a few years, expanding their fish research and setting up trade with their hometown, but everything changed when they found the platinum chip in an old boot they fished up :0 at first, nobody really knew what it was, but this wasn't Sal's first time dealing with pre-war tech and word spread pretty quickly, so soon enough she had her answer LOL and that's what brought her to the Mojave as "the courier" !
Suzette (they/them) is a vault dweller, chronic overthinker, easy to anger, polyglot that doesn't actually like to talk that much, and also "the courier." something in me makes it impossible to make a normal oc they just have to be quirky as hell man 😭😭 not that I'm gonna stop of course. anyway I'm not a religious guy so I'm not the best when it comes to the Bible, but I based their vault off of the Tower of Babel. basically every level of the vault houses a different culture and language! they're all strictly separated though, and Vault-Tec manipulates from the shadows like always, distorting communication, fabricating languages, subliminal messages too or something idk but the point is that they don't work together. the little polyglot over here tho wanted to change that, but they were ostracized for their efforts, eventually leading to them getting kicked out :( out in the wasteland, they then started courier work because they saw it as an opportunity to use their linguistic skills for good, travelling the wasteland, connecting different cultures, learning more languages, yadda yadda they've got terrible fashion btw 2000's inspiration just for the fun of it :)
okkkk soooo Esme (she/her) is Benny's bride :3 she grew up in Goodsprings (idk her relationship to the others specifically) but she always had dreams for a bigger life, something more exciting and glamorous, so she moved closer to the Strip in her mid 20's. she spent a few years on there, getting a job somewhere idk I really haven't thought her through all that much but the point is that she bumps into Benny and falls madly in love. to win his affection, she gets her hands on the platinum chip somehow and uses it as leverage to get him to marry her. they're promptly married in Goodsprings, but while the newlyweds are alone, he kills her and flees the scene with the chip. when she recovers, she's still confusingly in love with Benny, leading her to return to the Strip and find Benny again and get caught up in all the politics idk I think it's fun
... they r supposed to be identical twins except I cannot draw the same person twice for the LIFE of me so just imagine ok hehe Red (right, he/him) is technically the courier, BUT he was disabled in the Divide, so now Beck (left, also he/him) usually carries out his deliveries for him. most people wouldn't be able to really tell them apart, so it's not a problem—until Benny shoots Beck in the head. now, Red is usually very friendly and outgoing, but when the "death" of his brother reaches him, he changes. the need for revenge consumes him. Beck, on the other hand, wakes up with NO memory of his past. in fact, due to the delivery note on him, he thinks *he's* Red. unfortunately, everyone else also thinks they're the same person and it gets really confusing and really silly. and also really sad.
If u read all this, hi :3 which one do u think is the coolest?
#literally kicking my feet in the air and twirling my hair and giggling#fallout dendy#fallout oc#fnv oc#PLEASE LOOK AT THEM I LOVETHEM............#my creatures#drawling pitchers

hi oh my god i just finished abm and i feel so insane i genuinely don’t know what to do with myself cuz it definitely was A Ride (i read it in less than a day and it’s consuming my every thought). can i just say thank you for writing this book ??? i feel like other people must have already said this before but thank you so much for writing angels before man i can’t even begin to explain how much it means to me, especially because im a fellow trans gay mexican man with insane religious trauma (we should start a support group)
i feel like there are so many things i want to ask u about the sequels but i really don’t wanna be annoying so i’ll just ask one thing. will we be getting any jesus cameos in the next books? it’s just that we left off with the creation of man and the conversation between gabriel and uriel where they mention something about god not being able to destroy or create himself and about how he must want some company. i don’t know i guess it just left me thinking about how jesus is god and well u know he is said to be sitting on the right hand of god (i apologize if that’s not the correct translation i’ve only gone to mass and read the bible in spanish lol). plus i’d just love to see lucifer (satan now ??) trying to tempt him during those 40 days and nights in the dessert.
this got so long i’m so sorry if this is annoying 😭
Ahhh I can't believe you read it in less than a die,,., I'm very glad to hear you survived and also thank you for reading!!! I will set up the trans gay mexican men with insane religious trauma group chat immediately, king. But really, thank you. It means the world to me that it meant something to you. I can't say it enough.
Don't be afraid of being annoying! I've been really busy but I'm hoping to put more attention on my inbox, and questions never bother me! I'm just a bit shy I think but I'm never annoyed :)
As for your question, yes there will be Jesus. Yes, there will be Jesus and Satan in the desert. That said, it's not in Book 2! And Jesus won't be a major character in the trilogy. The conversation at the end of ABM between Uriel and Gabriel does have relevance to what will happen with Jesus; in general, the incarnation of God is a big theme for the series. God.... trying to make himself material..... hmmmmm
Anyway, thank you again for reading! Mando abrazos :') <333

Everyone has to read this book NOW. It is the perfect blend of scientific accuracy, gore, horror, dubious morals, murder, and bees that is driving me crazy.
So if it wasn't obvious, this book is about bees and their lives. And while Laline Paull did take some liberties (such as the caste system, their rituals, and some spoilery stuff), the rest is VERY accurate to science, which causes scent and pheromones and dance to be a pretty important plot point in the story with bees being emotionally dependent on the queens love/pheromones, and more importantly, some very fucked up morals.
The main character Flora 717 witnesses ableist bee murder by the bee police (really putting the bee in acab) on a newborn bee and being called ugly and fat (how cruel!) by said bees who just commited said bee murder afterward less than 5 minutes after she gets out of her chamber. Bee warned, this book is not for the faint of heart.
A bee priestess saves Flora from getting the exoskeletal equivalent of her neck snapped as, while not deformed like the other bee who had one wing that was *gasp* partially shriveled, she is abnormally large and can do things the rest of her caste can't do, leading Sage to test what she is able to do by having her try to take care of some larvae.
During this an older flora removes the body and cleans up the arrival hall, cause floras are bee janitors/sanitation workers that are at the bottom of the hirearchy, who can't speak and do normal bee stuff, and are often dismissed/considered lowly by other bees. However Flora 717 is "not like other bees" and can talk and produce flow/royal jelly.
You and Flora 717 explore the hive and try almost all the jobs and face many a challenge, but she almost always makes sure to go to Devotion at the dance hall and be filled with the queens love and recite the bee bible
Almost everything I stated above happened in the first 5 chapters btw. I didn't even mention the drones and all the other shit
Important warning: the bees relationship with Mother/the Hive Mind is pretty much a cult, the hive is very authoritarian, and the story does not shy away from gore, horror, and child/baby/egg death, with some parts even making me queasy (oh god chapter 35).

finally finished kinnporshe, and tbh im sad bc i wanted so badly to absolutely love it but i have so many mixed feelings
just some thoughts:
bad stuff first
1. i really did like the show up until around ep 6-7, then things just slowly (then very quickly) started falling apart tbh
2. lots of pacing issues, some plot holes, predictability
3. was i supposed to care about kim/chay at all? like? chay’s obsession with kim was so goofy and their chemistry was nonexistent like what a horrendously pointless plotline tbh they should’ve just cut the couple all together it literally added nothing (give jeff something with substance please i beg)
4. speaking of chay... barcode’s acting.... um. chile anyways so
5. i loved kinnporsche’s dynamic but then after they got together they totally fell flat and were like every other mediocre 2d couple i’ve seen in less hyped bl’s like... where did that fun dynamic go
6. why was everyone so stupid for most of the second half? where was the common sense? tankhun of all people was really the one with the most common sense tbh he said “why are you all suddenly becoming stupid” and he meant that
7. there so much hype for vegaspete, i was SO excited for them going into this and? all we were given was torture, a sort of stockholm syndrome, then pete left. i have some qualms about bible’s acting too (it took him a while to find his footing but he wasn’t bad later on, i’d say the tail end of pete’s captivity onward he got substantially better). with the relationship, not enough happened to justify pete’s feelings for vegas. i can kind of see why vegas feels how he does for pete, although it feels very shallow and like he is far too dependent on pete, considering literally the only reason he didn’t shoot himself was bc pete came back. as for pete... i just don’t buy the whole starting to love vegas while being held captive/tortured, just bc he felt bad for him regarding his dad? idk
8. by the end watching it felt like a chore... idk i just wish the energy and spirit and quality of the first maybe 5-ish episodes stuck around bc everything after that was just. boring. flat. predictable. kinda cringe-y at a lot of points
9. character development was really there at first and then it’s like it was too much work for them bc they just seemed to drop it at a certain point and personalities just started completely being drained out of everyone
10. this is a small random thing but it kept bothering me... people would have their guns out and trained on someone, and then gave that person enough time to slowly, VERY visibly get their guns out so there could be a showdown? like what’s the point of having your gun trained on someone if you’re gonna allow them to point one back??? shit made no sense lmao
11. unrealistic fights... tbh this isn’t just kinnporsche, it’s a big theme in action genre in general, but like.. wym everyone has guns and aren’t shy in shooting until the mains get close, then suddenly they’re given enough time to take out massive groups one by one bc the enemies just... let them. plenty of instances of characters taking down a baddie and then just standing there before the next guy comes up, which would’ve been ample time to get shot, but the baddies are just like nah let’s fist fight :) i understand plot armor but at least make it make sense
honorable mention: i know subtitles aren’t production’s fault so i’m not going to fault them for this but. holy shit. who was subtitling this, they were absolutely godawful ie. changing curses into ‘fudge’, ‘frick’, etc (are we six? why can we see murder and violence but curse words are where lines are drawn), and grammar being butchered
okay i know i listed all these negative points, i will say that the show wasn’t a COMPLETE flop. some positives...
1. apo was great. i loved the little mannerisms he gave porsche, the physicality of him, just overall i really enjoyed his acting
2. build was also consistently good. for most of the series, he wasn’t given as much to do, but he really was a standout particularly at the end of the series (that tub scene was a shining light in a show that otherwise had dulled by this point) and pete’s journey was actually interesting but imo we just weren’t given enough time with it
3. i know vegaspete was a negative but i will say that there could be some positives there. they could have a very interesting dynamic if were given enough time with them and really got to the root of their motives with each other. i MIGHT be interested in having a story about them, but i’d be really wary about the story going in the same direction as kinnporsche (initially interesting before turning into something kinda boring)
4. the theme song. THE THEME SONG. A BOP. it’s such an earworm omg it’ll be stuck in my head for months
finally.. the final ep. this one really can’t go into the negatives or positives. on one hand, this episode finally marked a massive uptick in quality after so many boring eps. not only was it unpredictable as hell, but we finally got our characters finding their personalities again, common sense made a return, and we ACTUALLY got some mafia activity. i signed up for a show with gang/mob plotline, and it felt like we had lost virtually all of that for the second half of the series. why couldn’t we have had quality like this in pervious eps? i’m not saying there had to be a shootout in every episode, but something with psychological meat. with that being said, i think they kind of overdid the plot twists in the finale. it was one after another after another of shit going down and pasts being revealed and characters kind of going batshit, that it really started to get ridiculous by the time porsche’s mom and korn were revealed to still be alive. korn’s reasoning for everything that happened was so silly that it really made me pause the ep entirely just to be like... are you fr? really? goofy stuff. also, throwing in the casual mention of sexual violence against one of the show’s only women as a reason for angst for the male characters was so beyond lame and unnecessary. idk how i felt about the whole porsche being head of the minor family, it was fine ig. overall, the final ep really gave me whiplash
idk i’m just so sad bc at this point 99% of the super super hyped thai shows i go into at this point i wind up being disappointed in?? and i want so badly to bc the ones that hit REALLY hit. but they’re just so rare. idk like japan has completely taken over in terms of quality imo, i really don’t trust thai bls anymore atp which is sad bc even the ones that are finally taking a step away from the insanely overused tropes wind up boring or poorly written in the end
anyway just my opinion let me wallow!!
#kinnporsche#negativity tw#i wanted so badly to love it im so sad#it's literally been a year since it came out so no one cares but let me rant!!!#anyway#let me finally watch the last episode of our dining table to get me in a better mood

How to drop a friend
I have a "friend" who I really don't get on with. She follows me everywhere, enbarrases me, and is obnoxiously loud. But I'm too shy to tell her that I'd rather end our friendship. So I'm gonna pass my knowledge onto YOU! The Internet can have my ideas 😭 oh yeah, and this won't be mean in any way, and I'll drop in some bible verses too ;)))
Ghost them
1 Corinthians 15:33- Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.”
If your friend is mean or rude then drop them! But if they're mean/rude then they'll probably get angry if you tell them that you don't like them explicitly. So ghosting them is probably the best option. Start by unfriending them on less used also such as roblox, Facebook (if anybody uses that 💀) or anything else.
If they ask just tell them simply that you are removing people from your friends list or you don't have anyone added anymore. But don't lie. Remember: Proverbs 12:22- "Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, But those who deal faithfully are His delight."
Drift Apart
The easiest way is to just drift away naturally. Just don't talk to them. It's normal and completely natural for people's interests to change and for people to go separate ways. That doesn't mean you have to completely hate each other. Hate is bad. Maybe just interact less often!
Tell them
"B-but Zara! That's stupid! They'll hate me!"
John 15:18- "If the world hates you, remember it hated me first."
If people hate you, screw it. The only option that truly matters is the Lord's. If you gonna tell them, just say: "I'm so sorry, but I don't think we should be friends anymore" or "Is rather not be friends anymore"
It's hard. And at first, you'll feel awkward around them. But eventually, you're glad you did. It's really draining to be around people you don't like. Plus, who needs mean people? All you need is God.
But now I have no friends..!
Well, first, learn to be alone! Nothing is weird about being by yourself. However, we all love some company. Here's how to spot a good friend!
1 Thessalonians 5:11- "Therefore, encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing."
You should both encourage, compliment, and criticise (NICELY!💗) each other. Who likes a friend who's always negative.
Colossians 3:13- "Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you."
Forgive one another! We all make mistakes, even if they are messing up alot let them grow with you. Don't be mean, how would you like that? But if they are just being plain rude it's best to move on.
Also, remember that they don't have to believe. Of course, that's amazing if they do, but if they don't, as long as they are kidney hearted people and aren't disrespectful to God, I'm sure they're great! You can introduce them to God, too. God is waiting for them with open arms!
Prayer!
Dear Lord,
Help us to grow in our friendships. No matter how new, how tiring, how hard, help us to be kinder, encouraging, and kind-hearted to everyone we meet. Let us care for eachother and be more respectful to one another. Help me to spread your word to all that I meet and be a role model for others.
Amen!

ARC Review: Highland Beast by Heather McCollum
3.75/5. Releases 4/25/2023.
For when you're vibing with... hard on the outside, soft on the inside heroes, healer heroines, babies babies babies, and historical romance with a good dose of old school vibes.
Bas Sinclair, the youngest of the Sinclair brothers, was raised by his maddened father to be an embodiment of death--the literal Horseman of Death, in fact. As an adult, he abhors his role as the executioner of the land, but fulfills it anyway, living isolated and lonely. That is, until, he discovers a mysterious young woman named Shana in the woods, with a newborn baby that isn't hers...
I liked a lot about this one. I also had some issues. While I would say that I enjoyed it, and I'm totally gonna read the final book in the series, I wanted a little more for Bas.
Quick Takes:
--First off, I loved Bas. I'd been looking forward to his book through the first three installments of the series, and he didn't disappoint. He's huge and scary and trained to dispatch people easily... But he really just wants to plant bluebells and carve his little sculptures and tend to literally every animal that could come across his path. He's threatening and intimidating, but he's also a deeply awkward and shy precious angel who never did anything wrong, in his life ever. And I hated how he'd clearly been traumatized from literal birth... But I did also kind of deeply enjoy how that trauma manifested itself.
--The thing about this series is that you will not enjoy it if you don't enjoy... a bit of cheese. I say that affectionately; it's not a bad thing to me. It reads very old school. The heroes are hulking big men who almost pass out when their wives are in labor because they're too stressed. They throw around weird little jokes that sometimes make you go "a weird moment to make that comment, but okay". There's a big emphasis on FAMILY. The heroes recite apocalyptic Bible passages before killing people. Normal historical romance shit.... but maybe not so common today?
--I kind of love the unusual setting of late sixteenth century Scotland. It ain't medieval, it ain't Regency/Victorian. You get references to King James (who was, like, a supporting character in the third book). This book is more of a true insular Scottish romance, but the setting still feels very different in today's market.
--There is a lot of childbearing in this novel, and honestly, in the series in general. Shana is a midwife, and I do enjoy a midwife heroine. Two of the heroines of previous books are pregnant; one gives birth in this book, which gives you a lot of my series-favorite couple, Joshua and Kara (of Highland Warrior). There's discussion of birthing animals, and to be honest? The first book had a horse birth, the second book had a human birth, and the third involved a woman who'd just given birth (not the heroine). So maybe Heather just likes that, and that's okay. Normally I feel like that would annoy me, but for some reason the general vibe of this series make me... okay with it?
--What bothered me more was how Shana reacted to Bas. Her being scared of him in the beginning? Totally real and normal. Then they have this lovely romance, they have sex, there's a lot of emotional intimacy, and a Thing happens. And it's like... kind of obvious. Why it happens. And Shana is suddenly acting like this man she's fallen in love with could be a monster again? It just felt cheap and out of character, considering how common-sensical she'd been in the entire novel. To me, it read as a last minute attempt to inject drama. And I'm all about drama; but the drama has to make sense. A lot of the drama in this book did. That bit didn't.
The Sex Stuff:
There are a couple of sex scenes in this book, and they're good. Nothing crazy. I actually think that we could've gone further, as Bas, while not a virgin, is very inexperienced. I would've liked to see him try some other stuff. Also, to be fair to all the birthing scenes and pregnancies in this series--the Sinclair brothers NEVER pull out ever.
Mixed feelings, but I did enjoy it, and I really love Bas as a hero. Just keep all of this in mind if you decide to read.
Thanks to Netgalley and Entangled for providing me with a copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
