Coat
It has been a really long time since I posted something on tumblr. This was made from the bottom of my heart since I don't want to work, but I have to because I have to pay my bills *sad*. Here it is, I hope you guys like it.
Marquis Vincent de Gramont x f!reader
~
You take off your high heels and put it on the side. Your socks still cling to your feet. You were walking through your bedroom. Feeling the cold ties below you. You look around the fancy apartment, searching for Vincent.
You told him that you wanted to meet him to talk about something, which he did not reply as he seemed to be sulking at you because you were too busy with your work these days. He felt like you neglected him and yes, you have to admit that it is true.
This month was the last month of your contract. Your company wanted to extend it. However, you on the other hand, was not keen on the idea. You just worked there because you have bills to pay. It's not like it is your dream job or something. You just have to work because you need money. But all of it has changed since Vincent entered your life.
That tall handsome man with expensive suits managed to entered your life somehow, despite all the differences between the two of you. It has been a year since you met him. You still remember your first meeting with him. Your company was known to be a technological company who offered a course for a middle aged workers who happens to be lost in this digital era. And it turns out that your boss was an acquaintance of him.
:readmore:
You met him at the company's party. Which he attended and surprisingly you were invited too. Later, you found out that the reason that you and some of the workers were invited was just because of their good looks.
It was clear that everyone who attended this party was out of your league. You were glad that you were not overdressed, however it seems like it was a good idea to search for fresh air for a moment.
You were greeted by a cold air once you opened the glass door. Now you regretted choosing this type of dress where there is a low cut on your chest and a puffy shoulders. Which now make you felt cold. Even if you had a long skirt, it did not help a lot because your feet still have goosebumps.
Maybe it was not a good idea to step out here. However, going back in is not a pleasant idea either because you really loves solitude.
"You must be cold in that dress" Said someone behind you.
"Thanks for stating the obvious" you turned your head, wanted to see who was talking with you now.
"You're most welcome" He said with a smug smile on his oh-so-handsome face. You could see his face as he stood next to you. His tall body towering you even with those high heels on. You can tell that everyone here has expensive suits. However, his was seemed to be on a whole different level. His hair was styled neatly, making his forehead visible. Those long legs bent a little as he was talking to you.
"I am sorry if I interrupt your space here" You said with the intention of returning his rudeness.
"No problem" He said as he just standing beside you. You both were just standing there without talking, but it was not a comfortable silence when you see the scenery in front of you and he was just standing there while looking at you, making you felt agitated.
I mean should he introduce himself first since he was the one who interrupted your space?
"My mom said it was rude to just stare and not introducing myself. So Y/n" You introduce yourself first since you know he did not plan on introducing himself first.
"Marquis Vincent de Gramont" well that explains the accent.
"What should I call you?"
"Vincent would be fine"
You actually wanted to just enjoy your time here alone. However, this tall person did not support your idea as he kept staring at you.
"Do you perhaps needs something?" You asked politely.
"Yes"
"Is it possible for me to help you?"
"No"
"Okay"
"I need a coat actually because it is cold here. And from what we have seen here, it seems like you dont have any coat at your disposal"
He was just being a brat.
"Forgive me for not being able to fulfill the things that you need" You said sarcastically.
"That's fine actually, you don't need to feel bad" He said playing along with you.
"You are so ungentlemanly" You said while looking at his face.
"That was my sex appeal"
"…"
You are just keep staring at anywhere but him, but those eyes still clings into you somehow. You pretend like he did not have any affect on you. As if those green eyes did not make your face burning.
"It seems like you have felt warmer somehow" He could see that your face turns redder than before. You open your mouth to say something, but your brain just freeze, so you closed your mouth. Then, you can feel someone coming, you saw someone in a black suit walking closer. You looked at Vincent while he just looking at you. Clearly did not care about the guy who was approaching you.
"Sir" The guy is the black suit gave him a white coat. He take it without looking at that guy, he did not even say thank you. His eyes were locked on you. He put the coat around you. You knitted your eyebrows. So when he said he needed a coat he meant this? For you? When did he even get it?
"Searching for a fresh air in the middle of a party where you meet a tall handsome stranger, then he gave you a coat. What could be more cliché than that?" You just stare at him in dazzlement. Literally don't know what to say. He was delighted when he saw your reaction.
"See you later" And then he left. Just like that. Leaving you all speechless. You don't even say thank you to him.
It was such a scene from a movie, however he did not ask your contact or something that could keep both of you stay connected. But somehow, he managed to find you again and make another cliché moments with you until both of you were officially a couple.
Now that you are in your apartmrnt with Vincent. You called out his name, but no one answered. You thought that he might not come since he was still mad at you, so when you saw that there is a 6'4" man sitting at the couch in front of the plasma TV you were a bit surprised.
Here is the sulking man sitting there without any intention to move or answering you. He was in his usual three piece suits. His sleek hair was pushed to the back making his forehead could be seen. He was leaning to the couch, his elbow is on the arm rest while his fingers is on his forehead. Seems like someone was bored and angry.
"Well, hello there" You greeted him while you sat next to him. You've got no response from him.
"Did you wait too long?" He was still silent.
You wrapped your hands around his arms. He swayed a little but he held himself from doing so.
"I have a news that I would like to share with you" You tried to be clingy at him, batting your eyelashes as you soften your voice. He seems to be insterested as his eyes were looking at you.
"What is it?" Oh! It speaks!
"You must be pleased to hear it" he arched his eyebrows, waiting for your next words.
"I am no longer working because my contract has ended" You were looking at him in the eyes while you said that. You could see the glimmer in his eyes as you said those words.
"WelI, I have you all to myself then" He said as he starts to wrap his arms around you. His body which seemed to be unmoved was now moving to you.
"What do you mean? I'm always yours" You said with the smile on your lips. You could tell that he was amused when his lips turned into a smile too.
"I like where this conversation is going" he studied your face as you look at him.
"I see that you are now unemployed. Now I hired you as my Personal Assistant"
"Is this serious?"
"Deadly serious. Now come on" He held your hand as he guided you through the front door.
"Where are we going?" You realized that he has changed now, back then he was just dragging you around anywhere by your arms or wrist. Now he he did not do that anymore, he held your hands and pull you with him slowly.
"Your first job, darling. We are going to Paris" he said with a lopsided grin on his face. You could tell that he was no longer mad at you.
"I haven't even packed my things"
"You don't have to do that, it's fine"
"We haven't signed the contract yet"
"There is no contract, you are already a permanent workers" Now you know that he was just joking.
"Wait, my shoes" You are now in front of your apartment without any shoes on. The height difference between you and him are now palpable as he walked in long strides and your short feet need to catch up to them.
"You don't need those shoes"
"It seems more like a kidnapping than a work"
"Either way you love it" his smile got wider as he said that.
"Tu es un morveuse mais heureusement je t'aime" He said smugly.
(You're a brat, but luckily I love you)
"Speak English" You protested.
"Oh wait je t'aime means i love you, right?"
"I don't know. What do you think?" He asked back.
"You should teach me more French"
"Say 'je veux te baiser'"
(I want to fuck you)
He said that with a glint on his eyes and a smirked that fully morphed on his lips. He was still looking at you while walking. Really waiting for you to say those words.
"I got a feeling that somehow it was not the right thing to say"
And just like that you are now on a plane to Paris. You currently have nothing to worry about. The days of having to get up early in the morning to pay your bills were gone. The man beside you could take care of that as his outfit right now costs even more than your salary in one year even with bonuses on.
*fin*
Yes! I fell deeply in love with bill. By the way, I apologize if the French was wrong because I use google translate:). I hope to see you again in my next writing soon. Until then, take care.

༘⋆ - YOU’VE GOT MAIL.
༘⋆ FT :: xavier thorpe x fem!addams!reader
༘⋆ TW :: mentions of the word ‘dead’ once, angsty content (??). some lines from the show are used
༘⋆ SYNOPSIS :: you did your all to hide xavier’s parting gift from your family. who would’ve thought the object of your desire would become known to them so soon…
⊹ ⋆゚ఎ ♡ ໒꒱ ⋆゚⊹
I get caught red handed as the foreign, high-pitched sound of a message notification fills in the pause of a family discussion during dinner. I freeze, accepting my fate as the center of attention as we sit in dead silence. I always liked my solitude and the quiet, let alone words and things beginning with ‘dead’, but this one was making me nauseous, and not in a good way. This is where it ends. What a drag. The taste of my favorite dish or my father’s neverending stories of his years at Nevermore could not have made it up to the void I felt inside of me.
I slide my right hand into my pocket slowly and imperceptibly, disabling the sound of my phone. I see a familiar contact name as my phone screen lights up. Xavier. Of course it has to be him. Oh the place and time. Brushing off the brim of emotions that overwhelms me, I take the knife and the fork back in my shaky hands and force out a few words of explanation that my parents deserve.
“My apologies, perhaps bringing a phone to a family function wasn’t the best idea. Will note for next time” I end up murmuring indistinctly with a fake smile, looking down at my plate in humiliation. My eyes then anxiously wander across the room, examining my family’s faces. Everyone is eyeing me back in utter confusion. That, however, doesn’t stop my mom from engaging into the conversation furthermore, as she puts the napkin back on her lap.
“Y/n, darling,” she said softly. “Would you mind explaining how you happen to possess the soul-sucking electronic device of meaningless affirmation in the first place?”
The question was expected and I should’ve came prepared - no one in the house knew about Xavier’s thoughtful gift to me, except for Wednesday, of course. The alien and humbling feeling of excitement, mixed with admiration, has overfilled me to the point where confessing to my sister on the spot was inevitable. The timing was especially right, as next came the unsettling messages from our stalker that we’re yet to decode.
“It was a parting gift from my friend when I left Nevermore for this winter break” I clarify blandly, making eye contact with my mother. My train of thought, which was more a contemplation of my eventful life anyway, was cut off by a voice at the end of the table.
“Does the friend in question happen to be the handsome young man from that one time at the Nightshade library?” Uncle Fester asks frisky and somewhat mockingly, stuffing his mouth with salad.
I am in the beam of spotlight once again as the family is left on a cliffhanger. Hurts to admit, I overreacted. This is where it ends. My ego are pride are shattered in a million pieces. Who knew that the terrible loss of a subjective self-identity of a heartless, disastrous hellbound teenage girl would come so soon.
Hastily picking up the food on my plate with a fork, I utter the following in a grumbly indistinct manner, trying hard not to blush. “Yes, it was him.”
My parents meet each others gazes as they smile. They let me rest from the discussion for half a minute, murmuring sweet nothings to one another, and just when I begin to think my blaze of glory is finally over, my mom picks the conversation up again.
“So, mind telling us more about it? What is his name?”
“Xavier Thorpe.” Wednesday shot back before I was even able to respond. Perhaps the complete disgust of the ongoing discussion has pushed her to my rescue, hoping to end this nightmare as soon as possible.
My mother hums in approval and continues the love interest trivia, raising her brow. “He’s Vincent Thorpe’s son, isn’t he?”
“Wait, what?!” Pugsley says at the edge of his seat, excited from overhearing his favorite psychic’s name.
“Yes, yes he is. I am not sure as of where me and Xavier stand and I would appreciate it if you give me some time before we talk about this again” I let out a sigh as I finally say what’s been on my mind. “For now, excuse me, I have to go. Thank you for a wonderful meal.”
I get up and make my way upstairs, to find some peace and quiet in my bedroom. Laying on my back and staring at the ceiling in complete despair, I pull out the phone from my pocket after some time, checking the messages.
“Hey! I was thinking of asking you out for coffee, how does that sound?”
I am doomed. So doomed.

Seph for the ask thing of course!
Maybe Aerith too?
SEPHIROTH:
Sexuality Headcanon: Homosexual
Gender Headcanon: Male
A ship I have with said character: SEPHGEN SDFGHFSFGHDSDSA *FOAMS AT MOUTH*
A BROTP I have with said character: Sephzack
A NOTP I have with said character: I don't really like Sephiroth/Vincent. And that's because there's the SLIGHT possibility Vincent might actually be his dad lmao. And even if he isn't, it would still be kinda squirmy for Vincent to have loved Sephiroth's mom and then glommed onto her son. Idk.
A random headcanon: Since Sephiroth no longer has a breast pocket to store cherished belongings and photographs, he stores them somewhere in his coat. Among which are the old SOLDIER dogtags of Glenn, Matt, and Lucia.
General Opinion over said character: My baby boy. My tragic muse. My divine asshole. My favorite of the faves. The tragic angstlord who keeps on angsting. What a jerk ❤️
AERITH:
Sexuality Headcanon: Disaster Pan
Gender Headcanon: Female
A ship I have with said character: Zerith! CUTIES!!!!
A BROTP I have with said character: Tifa/Aerith
A NOTP I have with said character: N/A they're all good.
A random headcanon: Aerith loved cooking with Elmyra when she was little. And yet she pretends to NOT know how to strictly for the divine purpose of making the craziest, nastiest concoctions ever when it's her turn to cook for the group. She smiles innocently while everyone grimaces. Cloud gets an extra helping of ghost pepper every single time.
General Opinion over said character: A+ character with an A+ Story arc. I'm also REALLY glad that Remake remembered to bring back her chaotic gremlin energy from OG. Aerith's mischievousness is one of her most endearing qualities to me and I was over her being Pure Flower Girl for so long lmao. That's only HALF of who she is. The other half is a huge troll. I hope she gets to drop an F-bomb in the next game I really do.

4 Town General Headcanons ; Pt. 1.
A/N: Just some general headcanons that I have for the boys. No warnings, just 4 Townie goodness.
Aaron Z and Tae Young will be in part 2!
Robaire
Robaire Beau Dumont, born September 3rd, 1978.
We know that he’s a proud Torontonian, and moved to the city after his family relocated from Montreal when he started high school. He is of African-Francophone-Canadian heritage on his father’s side, and his mother is of African American/French-Caucasian descent.
He has one younger sister, Sophia, who he adores and protects with his life. She is three years younger than him, and the pair were inseparable growing up. Being the eldest sibling in his family really prepared him for stepping up as the level-headed, responsible frontman of 4 Town.
Robaire has been singing since he could speak, and it’s a craft that he relentlessly refined throughout his childhood and teenage years. He always dreamt of being a musician, and his hard work showed that pretty much anything is possible if you put your mind to it.
He gets on equally well with all of the members, but has a soft spot for T. The younger brunette brings out a fun-loving side of Robaire that he never felt he was really allowed to express, either within his family dynamic or within the group. He sees T as a little brother and takes it upon himself to soothe T’s emotional problems and assure him of his worth.
So, Robaire is a perfectionist by nature, but it also goes a little deeper than that. About a year into 4 Town’s career, he had a bit of a breakdown and was sent to a therapist, who diagnosed him with a mild case of OCD. It’s something that Robaire has to deal with, and the boys are all super supportive, especially Z. Robaire is pretty open about it with 4 Townies and harnesses his obsessive tendencies by putting his all into rehearsing and performing.
When it comes to love, we know that Robaire is a romantic guy. He’s had a handful of relationships throughout the years, but has had less time for it while being a part of 4 Town. He’s pretty private about his love life, because juggling a career in the public eye with devoted fans is not easy when you’re trying to find the one. He’s heterosexual, but doesn’t really care for labels and loves all kinds of people in all different ways.
Jesse
Jesse Caleb Efron, born April 15th, 1976.
He’s of Ashkenazi-Jewish heritage on his Dad’s side, although he had a non-religious upbringing. His Mom is Canadian with Irish heritage. They divorced when Jesse was about fourteen, which prompted his rebellious teenage phase.
He is the oldest of four, and has three younger sisters, Rachel, Anna and Sara. His family were pretty conservative when he was growing up, and his father, in particular, was not happy about Jesse being a teenage dad. He’s since won his father round by showing himself to be the amazing, supportive father that he is.
Speaking of his kids, he has two two ten year-old kids, a boy (Vinnie) and a girl (Phoebe). He named Vinnie after his favourite artist, Vincent Van Goph, and just thought that Phoebe was a cute name.
So, the reason little Vinnie and Phoebe came into Jesse’s life was because of his…let’s say…adventurous teenage tendencies. He became a rebel after his parents divorced and slept around a bit. When he found out he was going to be a father at the age of sixteen, though, he changed his outlook on life completely. Things didn’t work out with his then girlfriend, but he does his best to get along with Vinnie and Phoebe’s mom and keep things amicable.
His kids are really the reason why Jesse got back into art. Doing little crafts activities with them reminded him of his own childhood memories, so they inspired him to apply for college at the ripe old age of 21.
He’s close to all the guys and feels a kind of paternal instinct over them all, but none more than Tae Young. When Jesse’s apart from his kids, a part of him feels unfulfilled. He loves feeling needed, and with Tae being near-on a whole decade younger, Jesse loves stepping in to guide him when needed.
Jesse’s relationships have been…a mixed bag to say the least. He always figured that 4 Townies were more interested in simping over the other members instead of him, so he tends to be a little less guarded when it comes to dating. Having kids can put a guy under a whole bunch of stress, so in the recent past, Jesse’s never been looking for anything serious. As he nears thirty, though, (a fact that T reminds Jesse of OFTEN), he wants to find someone special. He believes in soulmates, and hopes to find them soon. He’s heterosexual, and has lots to learn about the LGBTQIA+ community. It’s all good, though. T and Tae help ol’ grandpa out.
Aaron T
Aaron Alejandro Tantalo (note; ‘tantalo’ translates to ‘so much’ in Italian, and we know this guy is extra).
Many people headcanon T as hispanic, but I feel like his Dad is originally from Sicily and his Mom is Brazilian. South American + Italian parents = the overly dramatic, energetic and loveable Aaron T.
Born August 29th, 1981. He was always the youngest in his grade, which explains quite a lot about his, at times, immature nature.
Speaking of birthdays, this guy loves star signs. He doesn’t really believe in them, but was roped into the obsession by Tae. He reads the horoscopes of all the other members and uses them as ammunition for his pranks;
"Jesse, you must have eaten the last cookie because your horoscope said you’d have trouble with self-control this week". "T, we all know it was y-" "-THE UNIVERSE SAID SO, Z, NOT ME."
We all know that T loves to skateboard, and he’s pretty good on roller skates too. Being the recklessly confident guy he is, he assumed he would be ace at ice skating. Big mistake. BIG. The guys still laugh and call him bambi when it comes up in conversation.
He’s close with Z, but actually the closest with Tae Young. They share the same playful spirit, and because T was the youngest of three kids, he kinda enjoys babying Tae at every opportunity. He’s super close with all the guys though and always says he has seven siblings, not just three.
Speaking of his siblings, he has an older brother, Leo, who is five years older than him and pretty much his antithesis. His sister, Maria, is two years older and they were always super close. One of the reasons T initially gravitated towards Z was because the guy reminded him of Leo.
Pretty much all of T’s skills are self-taught. Although he’s a dopey goof, he’s surprisingly really driven and resourceful. Singing? Taught himself. Acrobatics? Taught himself. Dancing? You get it. Well, ‘u know what’s up’. He really did do it on his own.
In school, T was, unsurprisingly, the class clown. It wasn’t even really a conscious thing, he just loved making people laugh and smile. Even the teachers couldn’t resist his jokes, which saved him from detention a whole bunch of times for forgotten homework. He always wanted to succeed and do as well as his older brother and sister, but he learnt later on that textbook learning just wasn’t for him.
In terms of love and relationships, T is pretty inexperienced considering how much of a flirt he is. He crushes on people pretty easily, but rarely gets past that stage. In all honesty, it kinda scares him how consumed he can get by a crush so he shuts it down pretty quick and distracts himself with humour. He really wants a S/O, though, when the time is right, and recently realised that he’s pansexual. The boys were of course super supportive, and T has never felt more free.
Stay tuned for part 2!

Fireworks
Dad's Best Friend!Dilf!Bo Sinclair x AFAB!Reader
3k words Part 2 here!
Smut for days, fluff for weeks. Age gap, dad's best friend, oral, dirty talk, praise, creampie, reader is referred to as darlin' and baby girl and pretty.
Yeah yeah, today's the 4th of July, cheesy title, whatever. THIS IS THE MOST FUN I'VE HAD IN A WHILE. In fact I loved living in this little tableau I've created so much I'm planning a sequel?? Fuck dude, I am down so stupid bad for this dumb idiot man.
Tagging a few people who I think might enjoy this as much as I did. @vincent-sinclair-deserved-better, @slutforguts, @brandnewhuman, @fluffy-little-demon
If there was one thing your parents did right every time, it was their big summer bash.
Every year, when the temperature really started to ramp up, they invited the whole neighborhood over for barbecue, drinks, ice cream, and yard games. Their backyard pool was filled with kids bobbing like apples. There was often a waterslide, a water balloon toss, and sometimes fireworks once it got dark.
You had missed it the last few years, busy with summer semester at school. This year, however, you found yourself longing for a familiar setting and comfortable traditions. Even the incessant questions from neighbors you barely remembered would be worth the opportunity to be somewhere stable. Your parents, of course, were delighted, and swiftly roped you in to helping plan the menu, buy food and supplies, and set up the morning of the big day.
Wearing a new bikini underneath a band tee, you helped your mom arrange watermelon slices on a large platter, nestled soda and beer into coolers full of ice, and walked up and down the deck steps innumerable times carrying everything outside.
Although the party didn’t officially start until noon, people always began trickling in early, especially people close with your folks. The Swensons next door with their four boys arrived at 10:30. Two women from your mom’s book club arrived around 11. And when you made yet another trip down the deck stairs, you saw your dad on a ladder hanging decorations with the help of a tall, sandy-haired man you immediately recognized.
“Hey Dad, Mom wants to know if you want the stuff for the grill outside now or if you want to wait.” The man looked over his shoulder with a curious expression on his handsome face. “Hi, Mr. Sinclair.”
He broke into a grin. “Y/N, is that you? I’ll be damned.”
“It’s me.” You smiled sheepishly. His Southern accent had been the source of much conversation between you and your high school friends. You’d even dated some asshole from Mississippi for a while just to hear that honey-sweet drawl.
Mr. Sinclair handed your dad the other end of the banner he was hanging and turned to you. Were you imagining his ice-blue eyes flicking down to your bare legs and back up to your face? “You look good, darlin’. How’s college?”
Oh, you had forgotten that. How had you forgotten the way he called you darlin’? “Can’t complain,” you said. “I’ll graduate in another year.”
“Y’got big plans after that?” God, those eyes. Had they always been so piercing? You felt seen in a way that was intense, but not unpleasant.
“Not really. I’m waiting to see what opportunities open up, I guess.”
“Well, you’re a smart one, you’ll figure it out.”
Your mom yelled your name from the back door. You excused yourself and walked across the patio. The weight of a stare on your ass was tangible.
Just before you reached the deck stairs, you turned and looked back. He did not even try to hide the fact that yes, he had indeed been checking you out seconds before. His gaze swept up to your face at the most leisurely pace possible and he flashed you a subtle smirk. You felt the heat of a blush and tried not to race up the stairs.
The backyard filled up quickly as people began to arrive. Music wafted from the speakers mounted beneath the deck. The shriek of neighborhood kids and the splashing of pool water rounded out the suburbia soundtrack.
You answered the same questions over and over from friendly neighbors, helped your mom stave off several low-stakes emergencies, finally managed to extricate yourself from all party business long enough to shed your t-shirt and slip into the pool.
The shallow end was for splash fights. The deep end was for the older crowd. The water was cool but not cold, washing the sweat from your skin as you let yourself sink all the way down to the bottom. The muffling of sound and the sensation of even pressure on your skin helped you relax, clear your mind, until all that was left was the thought of a mechanic’s rough hands.
You had bet on a lot of things, coming home for this event. Mr. Sinclair’s killer jawline was not one of them.
In one burst, you launched yourself back up to the surface. Wiping the water from your eyes and nose, you kicked to the wall, hauled yourself up and out of the pool. As you toweled off your face and arms, you scanned the crowd. Sure enough, you found him, barely a participant in the conversation at hand, gaze locked on you as he drained the dregs from his beer bottle.
He was going to need another, wasn’t he? You were sort of the host of this party too, right?
You wrapped the towel around your hips and snagged two beers from a cooler. You pretended you couldn’t quite hear Mrs. Swenson flagging you down and made a beeline for the tall man breaking away from the conversation.
“Hey, Mr. Sinclair,” you said, darting in front of him. The way he lit up upon seeing you made your stomach flip. “I grabbed you a beer.”
“Well ain’t you the sweetest thing.” He accepted the bottle from you and this time, there was no mistaking the way his eyes drank in your exposed skin. “Call me Bo, darlin’.” He took a swig. You tried and failed at not staring at his lips. “You enjoyin’ yourself?”
“Yeah, it’s good to be back. Summer on campus is boring.”
“Can’t help but notice you didn’t bring anyone home with you.”
You raised an eyebrow. “Yeah…not a lot of luck in that department.”
He grinned at you. “What, a pretty thing like you? Now that’s a cryin’ shame.”
“Oh, believe me, there has been crying.”
His smile cooled, just a little. “Any o’ them kids hurt your feelings, darlin’, you give me a call. I’ll teach ‘em a lesson for you.”
Something told you he wasn’t joking. “Well, if you ever come across Bradley from Gulfport, you have my permission to kick his ass.”
He laughed. “Duly noted. What did Bradley from Gulfport have goin’ for him?”
You pinched your tongue between your teeth. “…a Southern accent.”
The smile this triggered sent a heatwave rolling beneath your skin. “That’s all it takes, huh?” You bit your lip and could not look at him. “You gotta watch out for those Southern boys, there’s only two kinds. They’re either gentlemen or scoundrels, every one of ‘em.”
You boosted your courage with a mouthful of beer. “Which one are you, Bo?”
He studied you for a long time before answering. “The kind who doesn’t want your daddy noticin’ the way I’m lookin’ at his daughter.”
You were wet, and it was not from the pool.
Clearing your throat, you said, “I think I’m…going to go change. Probably not getting back in the water.”
He nodded once. “Fair enough.”
You took two steps before adding, “I’ll be upstairs, if you need anything.” Again, shocked at your own brazenness, it took everything in you not to run up the steps.
The house was cold and quiet. You made your way down the hall, hung the towel over the shower curtain rod, nudged your bedroom door almost completely closed. Slowly, you undid your bikini, practically tingling with anticipation. Would he actually follow you up here? What if he did? You took your sweet time picking out a pair of underwear and a new t-shirt. You held off on the shorts and the bra. How long should you wait before you went back out there?
Just as you were about to give up and pull on the rest of your clothes, there came a soft rap on the door. You took hold of the handle and opened it just a little further, peeking into the hallway.
There stood Bo Sinclair, bold as brass, looking somehow both smug and earnest. “I missed you,” he said.
You reached out, grabbed his hand, tugged him into your bedroom and shut the door. With fluid grace, he spun you around, pushed you against the door, set his hands lightly on your waist. You were breathing hard already. “D’you want this, darlin’?” he whispered.
You nodded. “Yes.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes.”
He tilted your chin up with his thumb, kissed you with those lips. He tasted like beer and cigarettes and some indescribable sweetness. Your hands found his chest, still broad and muscular, and he felt hot beneath the fabric of his shirt. He broke the kiss, met your eyes, then kissed you again, deeper this time, his tongue playing at the edge of your teeth. A soft moan rose to your lips.
He pulled away again, looked at you seriously. “If you want me to stop, I’ll stop,” he said.
You shook your head. “No. I want more.” Your hand slid down his front, palmed at him through his jeans.
He cocked his head, a smile creeping across his face. “You’re a little minx, ain’t you.” He thrust his hips against you, pushed his knee in between your thighs. “Lemme show you a good time, baby girl.” He kissed down your neck, into the hollow of your throat, his fingertips brushing the skin just underneath the hem of your shirt. You arched your back, pressing against him, still caught up in a measure of disbelief that this was actually happening.
Bo took your hands and pulled you toward your bed. It was a full, barely bigger than a twin, hopefully big enough for two – you’d never tried it before. He sat on the edge, guided you onto his lap with your legs wrapped around his waist, showered you with kisses while he ran his hands over your legs, your ass.
You took hold of his shirt, worked it up his torso and off of him. His shoulders were dusted with freckles, soft blonde hair on his chest. His eyes gleamed. “Fair is fair, darlin’.”
You stripped off your own shirt, tossed it to the floor. Bo muttered an expletive under his breath. He traced his thumb over your nipple and it hardened instantly, sending a jolt of pleasure straight to your core. “You’re too pretty, baby,” he murmured. “I wanna wreck you.”
Wrapping your arms around him, you pulled yourself against his body, kissed his collarbones, his shoulders. You could feel him getting hard underneath you and you rolled your hips experimentally once, twice. He made a delightful sound in his throat, his grip tightening on your love handles.
“Let me worship you, darlin’,” he said against your temple.
“Please,” you breathed.
He twisted, laid you down on the bed, kissed you sweetly and then wandered his mouth down your body, little by little, until his fingers were tucked in the waistband of your underwear and his breath was warm on your lower stomach. His baby blue eyes, alight with mischief, locked on yours.
“Now, you gotta be quiet. Wouldn’t wanna get you in trouble.”
You nodded quickly, the blanket already balled up in your fists.
Bo eased your panties down your thighs slowly. You squeezed your eyes shut, trying to steady your breathing, and when his tongue first slipped through your lips you let out an involuntary ohh.
“Ah-ah, what did I say?” You could hear the grin in his voice. “Be good for me or I might have to give you a spankin’, and it won’t be like the kind your daddy used to give you.”
You writhed. You disheveled the sheets. You bit your lip hard as he worked you over, sucking your clit, teasing your entrance. These were not the bewildered ministrations of a reluctant frat boy. This man was indeed worshipping you and doing it well, and the pleasure building steadily deep inside you was enough to make you want to scream.
Finally, when you truly could not take it anymore, you choked out his name, grabbed at his hair. He looked up, licked you off his lips, kissed the inside of your thigh. “What d’you need, baby girl?”
“I-I….”
“God, you look good.” He crept up the length of your body, cradled your head to bring your lips up to his. “Such a mess for me.”
You ran your hands through his chest hair. “Bo,” you whimpered.
“Yes, darlin’?”
“I need you.”
“You need me where?”
“I need you…to fuck me…please?”
He exhaled sharply. “You are hellbent on gettin’ me in trouble, ain’t you.” He trailed a finger down your breastbone. “Teasin’ me with that beautiful body…askin’ me so nicely.”
“Please, Bo.”
He pressed his lips to your forehead, nuzzled your ear. “Has anyone ever made you cum in this bed?” he whispered.
“No,” you whispered back.
“Mmm.” He cupped your breast, squeezed firmly. “I bet you’d look mighty fine on top of me.” He slipped away from you, pulled off his jeans and boxers. You made room for him on the bed, straddled his hips, eyeing his length. He folded his arms above his head and stretched languidly. “Take it slow, darlin’. I like the view.”
You rubbed yourself against him, your already-sensitive clit dangerously tender. The two of you moaned in concert, the friction between you intoxicating. He felt good between your folds, beneath your hands, his stomach firm under a cushion of fat. You canted your hips in a steady rhythm until he was slick with your arousal. With his tip at your entrance, you pressed down carefully, not quite enough to push him into you, and smiled at him, held him there.
“Wicked,” he scolded. “You bet your ass I’ll remember this for next time.”
“Next time?”
“Oh, there will most assuredly be a next time.”
This lit up your insides more than you expected and you lowered yourself onto him all the way in one smooth motion. You gasped. He groaned. His hands left their place on the pillow to take hold of your hips. He rocked you back and forth at an easy pace and you felt him flex inside you.
“Oh, Bo.”
“Quit.” He slapped the side of your ass. “My stamina ain’t what it used to be and if you throw that in the mix we are in for a short ride.”
You giggled, leaned back for a better angle, and sighed contentedly. When you opened your eyes, you found him staring at you with open admiration. Bending over his chest, you kissed him deeply, your skin alight with his touch. You rode him methodically for what could have been hours, hands on your breasts, biting back the little sounds he drew out of you.
At last he took your jaw in his hand, commanded your attention. “Now, darlin’. You’re gonna cum for me hard and you’re gonna look me in the eyes while you do it. Y’understand?”
Your breath caught in your throat. “Yes sir.”
He gave you a look. “I’m gonna remember that for next time too.”
He took a firm grasp on your thighs, adjusted his hips, and began to thrust into you with unexpected force. Your mouth fell open in an O and your eyes rolled back in your head. “Look at me, darlin’, look at me.” You refocused, teeth pinning your lip, his expression positively sinful. You felt yourself begin to come apart and clawed at his chest. “That’s it, baby, so pretty.”
You couldn’t keep back the whine bubbling up in your lungs any longer, keening helplessly, whole body a mass of snapping nerves. His long, soft lashes fluttered as he finished inside you with a low grunt, clenching your flesh hard enough to leave marks.
Panting, you sank onto his shoulder and he wove his arms around you. “You did so well for me,” he mumbled, kissing your brow. “Such a sweet thing.”
You curled into his side while he stroked your back, traced the lines your nails left in his skin. “You know…I’ve never….”
He grew immediately serious. “You’ve never what?”
“I’ve never had sex in this bed at all.”
Bo huffed out a sigh of relief. “Jesus Christ, Y/N, you’re gonna give an old fuck like me a heart attack.”
You giggled. “Sorry.”
“I can’t be goin’ around deflowerin’ young women, they’d kill me in the streets.” He gave you a tender kiss. “Probably kill me for this anyway.”
“Too bad, I’ll miss you.”
He gave your ass an affectionate smack. “Speakin’ of missin’, we’d both better get back out there before they send a search party.”
“When can I see you again?”
“In about five minutes when you put your clothes back on and get out there and pretend like you weren’t just fucked stupid by your daddy’s best friend.”
“That is not what I meant.”
“Oh, what’d y’mean?”
“When can I see you again like this?” You ran your thumb along his jaw.
“Well, how long are you in town for?”
“The rest of the summer.”
He let out a low whistle. “Is that so? Y’know, I’ve been meanin’ to hire some help at the shop. How ‘bout I pay you and let you fuck me?”
“Would that be weird?”
“You tell me, baby girl.”
“Nah, I don’t think so.”
“Well then I don’t neither.” He kissed you one last time. “Consider yourself hired. Great interview. Put your clothes on.”
You socked his ribs and wiggled away. He watched you dress and you slipped out of the room, sneaking back to the party well before he did. No one seemed to have noticed either of your absence, and you managed to play it cool for the rest of the afternoon.
When the sun fell at last and the streetlights turned on, everyone congregated on the front lawn for a fireworks show. Your dad always went for the ones that were technically illegal and to this day no one gave him grief about it.
With everyone’s eyes on the sky, you sidled up beside Bo, standing behind the crowd near the house. You didn’t dare take his hand, but you leaned against his arm, and a smile appeared on his lips, and that was enough.

Flufftober Day 22 - “Have you heard?”
@flufftober
Fandom: Stardew Valley
Pairing: Sebastian x Reader
Word Count: 1138
Reader Pronouns: She/Her
Warnings: Cursing
This is one chapter of an entire linear story! It can be read separately but is better when read as a whole. Enjoy!
❤❤❤❤❤♡♡♡
The rest of winter passes by in an absolute flash, and before you know it, it’s the week leading up to the feast of the winter star. It’s a huge celebration for the entire town, and on top of that, every single person gets to anonymously get a gift for another member of the town. The person you’re making your gift for is sent to you through the mail by Lewis, and this year, you have Penny.
Though you’ve been in town for almost a year, you haven’t had all that much interaction with Penny. You’ve run into her a few times when she was teaching Vincent and Jas, but she never really had time to chat, and the only other time you’ve ever talked is when she was reading by a tree outside Sam’s place and you asked her about her book. You do have a baseline idea of what she likes—literature, teaching, family—but you’d like to learn a bit more about her so that you can get her something you know she’ll really like.
You’re not sure about how you’ll learn more about Penny without asking her directly and giving away your secret, but then you remember that Sam is decently close with her. Though you probably shouldn’t tell anybody else who you’re getting a gift for, you figure you can break the rules a little bit to get Penny something she’ll love instead of having to just guess.
Once you’re finished with your morning duties, you pull on some nicer clothes to get out of your muddy work overalls and head into town, arriving at Sam’s house a few minutes later. Jodi lets you in when you knock, letting you know that Sam is in his room. You knock on his door next, and he answers with a look of both surprise and happiness.
“(Y/N)!” he exclaims, stepping aside to allow you entry into the room. “Nice of you to visit, what’s up?”
You step past Sam and into his bedroom, where you sit on the stool next to his keyboard and watch as he flops down onto his bed. “I actually came by because I need your help.”
“Yeah, no problem! What can I do for ya?”
It’s hard to deny that Sam’s eagerness is really cute, and it’s really nice of him to want to help you out with absolutely no hesitation. Feeling better about requesting this of Sam, you start to explain your predicament. He furrows his brow in thought.
“Well, she’s mentioned to me before that she loves this one quote by, um, I think it was Paulo Coelho? ‘It’s the possibility of having a dream come true that makes life interesting.’ Maybe you can do something with that?”
You think for a moment, and then you remember that back home, tucked away in an old jewelry box that you never open, you have a heart-shaped locket that would be just the size to fit that quote. That seems like something Penny would like.
“Thank you, Sam, that’s actually perfect,” you say. He grins.
“Awesome, I’m happy I could help!” His grin quickly fades though, and he purses his lips slightly before adding, “I’ve been having so much trouble with mine. I got Pierre, I have no idea what I would get him aside from money.”
“I’m afraid I don’t know enough about Pierre to help you out,” you admit. “Maybe a nice bottle of wine? Something like that always goes appreciated.”
Sam nods. “That’s a good idea, actually. I just wish I was as lucky as Sebastian, it’s easy to make a gift for a close friend.”
“Oh, he must have Abigail, right?”
“No, Mom has Abigail.” Sam pauses for a moment, but then his face jerks into one of pure “oh shit,” and it’s only because of his reaction that you put two and two together. Sebastian only really has three close friends, and if he doesn’t have Abby or Sam, then…
“Does that mean Sebastian has… me?” you ask. You don’t figure Sam will answer honestly, because it’s supposed to be a “surprise” and all, but the way that Sam’s body seizes up for a moment gives you the only answer you need. “How did you find out?”
Sam opens his mouth to say something, and it looks like he’s going to try and deny your claim, but after a moment, he just sighs and says, “He told me. Figured it was alright since we didn’t have each other.”
You can’t help but smile. Though the secret has been spoiled for you, the idea that Sebastian will be the one giving a gift to you makes you feel really amazing, for some reason. Screw the secret.
“Do you know what he’s getting me?” you know you shouldn’t try and spoil the secret even further, but curiosity won’t allow you to let it go. Unfortunately though, Sam shakes his head.
“All I know is that he’s been busting his ass to make whatever it is he’s making for you,” Sam says. “Ever since our people got revealed, he’s been shutting himself away in his room more than usual, and the only times he’ll reply to my texts are to tell me that he’s too busy working on your gift to hang out.”
Though you were smiling before, now the only thing you’re experiencing is shock. Sebastian is really putting that much effort into you? It’s really touching that he would care enough to want to make you something big, but it still feels like too much.
“Um, wow…” is all you can manage to say. “I didn’t know he cared that much.”
Sam laughs. “Have you heard the way he talks about you? Of course he cares, he adores you! You’re one of his best friends!”
Best friends, you think, and though the words bring a warmth into your heart, there’s something hollow there as well that you can’t quite place. You don’t dwell on it, though, because Sam keeps talking.
“I know he’s not the affectionate type or whatever, but I’ve known the guy long enough to know how he feels about people, and you’re special to him.” Sam puts an arm around your shoulder, squeezing it affectionately. “Trust me on that one.”
Your mind wanders back to all the moments that you and Sebastian have shared over the past seven or eight months. Him helping you take your revenge on Pierre, watching a meteor shower together, bringing you soup when you were sick, locking yourselves in your barn, bringing him hot chocolate on a cold winter’s day, and then to just a few weeks ago, when he kissed you on the cheek to give you good luck for the ice fishing competition.
Maybe you can see why Sebastian thinks you’re special, because when you relive every important moment the two of you have shared, you realize just how special he is to you, too.

Hello! This is my first ever request so sorry if its a little wonky.
I really liked the fics about Valorant agent being your older sibling, especially the Chamber one, would it be possible to do fic about older brother Chamber with younger ftm brother? Their parents don't really support them and would be pretty dysphoric all the time.
Thank you so much in advance :D
Word count: 610 Warnings: Angst, Unsupportive Parents, Abuse, Reader is Trans (FTM), Cursing, Hints of Dead Naming (Instead of D/N (dead/name), I chose to use [Redacted])
Synopsis: “She’s covering all her mirrors! What a disgrace; just what is she hiding from?!”
You felt uncomfortable under your own skin, Vincent could tell.
Your parents hated you after that faithful day you came out. Saying you didn’t want to be a girl anymore and be something more “you.” They brushed you off, laughing loudly. Claiming it’s just a “phase,” but they snapped when they saw your dead-serious face. Shouting profanities, followed by your mom slapping you to the ground. “I knew it. You’ve been hanging out too much with those disgusting gays! No wonder you’ve acted so differently! To your room now!”
“Mama?... Papa?...”
Vincent’s shaking voice rang through the room; he saw your trembling figure on the ground. A red handprint freshly imprinted on your cheek, combined with tears running down your face. Your brother came home; he finished the compulsory Military training that your parents signed him up for. His face contorted to a disgusted one, piecing together what had happened. You had been sending him letters, telling him about how you felt. “Get up, go to your room and wait for me.” Vincent’s expressionless face and trembling body ushered you up, giving you a soft push to go upstairs. You run for your room, accidentally knocking over your family portraits. Though, at this point, you didn’t care. You curled into a ball and hugged your pillow as tight as you could. Hoping this would end quickly, but it didn’t. The thin walls of this house couldn’t silence the raging voices arguing downstairs.
“She’s covering all her mirrors! What a disgrace; just what is she hiding from?!”
You hear your mother screech at Vincent.
“For your information, it’s ‘he.’”
The latter's voice was calm, but you could tell it was holding back boiling venom.
“Ayiah, Vin! Not you too! She needs to learn to be who she is! Not some freak that wants to dress up as a boy.”
You could feel something snap in your brother.
“He’s not playing pretend, mama! He feels this way! Et si vous ne l'acceptez pas ? Eh bien, nous allons partir. (And if you dont accept him? Well, we're going to leave.)”
The house stills. Then you hear sobs from your mother, you hear a chair grind against the floor. Signaling someone stood up, presumably your father.
“Aller! Partez alors. N'embêtez plus ma famille, je ne vous vois plus comme faisant partie des "Fabrons". (Go! Leave then. Trouble my family no more, I don't see you as a part of the "Fabrons.”)”
Your mother gasps,
“Mon amour, qu'en est-il de [Redacted] et Vincent ? Que sommes-nous censés dire à la famille à leur sujet ? (My love, what about [Redacted] and Vincent? What are we supposed to tell the family about them?)”
You hear heavy footsteps storm off, thumping toward your room. You rub your eyes, praying to the heavens above it was Vincent. Thankfully, it was him. He had a sweet smile on his face, “Mon ange, prépare tes affaires, yes? On va quelque part et on ne revient jamais. (Angel, pack your things, yeah? We're going somewhere and never coming back.)”
You were more than ok with that, relieved to leave this shit hole of a home.

I can request a scenario in which the reader is rescued by the police or by someone who cares about her and thinks she is saving from the Slachers (Brahms, Jason, Michael, Vincent, Bo and another killer of her choice).
What would happen next, would the Slachers go after their reader and bring them home with them? Would the Slachers cause a massacre with people who cross your path, perhaps?
((Note: S / O is not a victim or hostage of the Slashers, but his girlfriend)).
Absolutely! Thank you for the request and patience! I think family/friends will work better in these situations so I hope you don't mind! Also I'm gonna skip Michael because I can't come up with anything for him and the other scenarios are super long. I hope it makes up for it <3
TW: Violence
F/N: Friends Name
Brahms Heelshire
It had definitely taken some getting used to when it came to living with Brahms
Between the HUGE mansion and the man himself
But you adapted into the role and settled in relatively well
However, you dropped contact with outside people quite suddenly
The cell reception had became increasingly worse and the landline phone had finally given out
When you tried to leave Brahms would insist on you staying
Which left your brother quite worried (pretend if you don't have one)
After multiple failed call attempts he decided to visit the address you had given him after accepting the job
He continued to try and call once he landed
Sure he'd be annoyed if you answered but would be happy you even did
However you didn't
So he made his way out to the mansion and parked in front of you
You were busy doing some cleaning and hadn't heard the car door slam shut
Brahms did though
A knock rang from the front door and you answered it, seeing your brother in front of you
You were confused and questioned why he was there
"You haven't been answering ANY of my calls. What the hell happened?" He seemed more concerned than angry
You knew Brahms would have heard him by now and one major rule was "no visitors"
Your stomach dropped
"Oh, um. The cell reception here is garbage and I haven't had time to get a new landline." You partially lied
"Well I'm glad you're safe. Mom wanted me to stay for a few days if that would be alright. I hate to invite myself but you know how mom is."
Your stomach sank further
"U-Uh actually, I'm not allowed to have visitors stay. Really not supposed to have anyone stay at all."
He raised his eyebrow. "Aren't you just watching some doll? Come on, Y/N you gotta be lonely. This place seems huge."
"Just go back home and tell mom I'm fine. I'm gonna be here till my job is done. Okay?" You wanted to make him leave without worrying him or him seeing Brahms
However, you noticed his eyes shift behind you and then widen
Oh fuck
"Go. Home." You told him but he didn't have to be told twice, already halfway to his car
You turned around to see Brahms behind you and you figured his size was enough to scare your brother
You just hoped he wouldn't tell your mom what really happened
Jason Voorhees
You had been at Camp Crystal Lake with Jason for quite a bit before anyone came to see if you were there
Cell reception was basically nonexistent so you hadn't had contact with the world since you had decided to stay with Jason
Your sister (pretend if you don't have one) remembered how much you loved Crystal Lake though and wondered if maybe you had ran away to the abandoned and dilapidated cabins
You were just taking a walk when your heard a female voice screaming your name
You instantly knew who's voice it was
You hoped Jason hadn't heard, scared of what he would do to her for trespassing
You ran towards the voice and you thought your sister was going to faint when she saw you coming towards her
"Y/N?" She almost didn't seem to believe you were right in front of her
"Hey dork, what's up?" You asked, trying to seem casual
"What's up?" She seemed stunned and then angry. "What do you mean 'what's up'?! You ran away and then just act as if nothing happened?!"
"Hey keep it down. Look, I'm sorry. I just was tired of everything and decided to see if I could stick it out here by myself for a while. I'm trying to renovate an old cabin to make a sort of house and I don't want ANYONE knowing where I am." The whole story was pretty much a lie. "I was just so overwhelmed with everything I needed a getaway. Don't tell anyone where I am. Please?"
She was silent as she processed everything. "What about Jason? Isn't he supposed to kill anyone who lives here or roams here?" She was almost positive the whole story of Jason wasn't real but she was still curious
"Well I mean. I'm still intact so I'm gonna say he doesn't exist." You lied.
She nodded a bit. "I've just been so worried about you. Just...try and let me know you're okay ever so often. Alright?"
You nodded and she headed back for her car
Once she was out of sight you started to head back to the cabin only to bump into Jason's chest
You jumped slightly in surprise, not having heard him sneak up and explained that she was your sister
He nodded before bringing you back to the cabin
Vincent Sinclair
You were sitting silently in the woods with Vincent as a victim made their way into the small town, pulling into the gas station
You were fairly far away and hidden by the foliage but you recognized who stepped out of the car
He had papers in his hand with large red letters spelling "MISSING" on the top and your face under it
It was your friend
Well he thought of himself as your friend
You didn't mind him but he would act obsessive towards you, wanting to hang out as much as possible and even interjecting himself into conversations you were having
You knew he had good intentions but couldn't help but feel annoyed just by his presence
He walked into the gas station, likely to ask about you
You knew what would happen
Vincent seemed to notice how closely you looked at the guy
It was different from past victims
"Who's that?" He signed
"An old...friend of mine. Well, he thought we were friends. He got on my nerves." You signed back
Vincent nodded a bit as you continued, "He had a thing for me I think. He was obsessed to say the least."
Jealousy started to come over him at what you said even though he knew you didn't return the feelings
He'd make sure he wasn't made into a wax figure
Just tortured and then disposed of
Bo Sinclair
You leaned against the gas station counter as Bo worked in the garage as per usual
You were fairly sure it would just be another normal day
Nobody coming to bother you
However a car pulled up and parked by a gas pump, shutting off as someone stepped out
No
No it couldn't be
Your old friend
You hadn't spoken to her in years
She still looked the same
You didn't know if you hoped she wouldn't recognize you or that she would
She pushed her sunglasses to the top of her head as she pushed the door opened but stopped in her tracks as her eyes scanned your face
"Y/N?"
You reluctantly nodded and stood up, walking out from behind the counter
Tears welled up in her eyes as she pulled you into a hug to which you returned
"I-I can't believe this. We all thought you were dead!" Emotions swirled rapidly through her voice. Pain, excitement, nostalgia
"What?" You asked, confused
"I've missed you so much." She held you by your shoulders. "I didn't even mean to come here. I made a wrong turn and then was gonna come ask for directions."
Well that sounded oddly familiar
"Well I'm glad to see you. I'm alright. Just uh, decided to live here. I like how secluded it is." She turned to look at the side door to the garage as it was pushed open and Bo entered the room.
"Well hello there." He said in his normal charming accent, greeting your friend and seeing her as a victim. "Who might you be?"
"Oh this is F/N, she's been friends with me since we were in school."
He nodded a bit and she raised her eyebrow. "Well who's this Y/N?" She smirked
"This is Bo. He's my boyfriend. He works in the mechanics shop." You told her
She nodded and smiled.
"Well have a look around if you want any snacks. I gotta help Bo with something in the garage." You lied, tugging him into the garage and shutting the door behind you
"Do NOT hurt her." You sternly said and he raised his eyebrow
"I can't risk her telling people about this town." He responded.
"She doesn't even know what this town is. I think she missed the sign." You told him and he sighed, rubbing the bridge of his nose
"She could be lying."
You shook your head. "She won't tell anyone."
You walked back out and smiled at her, taking her money to pay for her snack
"You didn't see me okay?" She raised her eyebrow
"Some things happened that I don't want to get into right now but I can't go back for a while. Just let them think I'm dead and move on. Okay?" She nodded after a moment
"Have a safe trip." You said sweetly, giving her one last hug before she left

Thank you! You take care as well, get some water, a snack, grab a blanket and enjoy :)
Slashers with their s/o on their period:
Warnings: undetailed NSFW, blood duh, not proofread oof (my god I never do, do I?)
Michael Myers
SFW
Michael doesn't give a shit. This is your problem, not his.
If you're really in pain during that time of the month, he'll get more aware.
He surprisingly doesn't want you to feel pain, doesn't matter because of what.
Now he wants to stop the pain but he doesn't know how. You have to initiate any kind of physical contact.
After you show him how he might heat up a hot water bottle every now and then and worldlessly place it on your stomach.
If he's feeling soft, he'll place his big, warm hands on your belly when he hugs from behind.
He really tries to make you feel better though if you don't feel any pain, he doesn't see any reason to.
NSFW
Michael adores period sex. It adds to his natural desire for blood. In a way, it gets him hornier than normal sex.
He's probably the most unafraid slasher too. Michael loves your blood, no matter where it comes from.
Michael's pretty dangerous when it comes to sex though, so if you're in pain tell him, because he won't stop while you're at it.
He loves to go down on you. That might be disgusting to some, but to him, the taste of your blood mixed with your juices is the best thing on earth. And imagine him glancing up to you, eyes heavily lidded and chin covered in the red substance.
Vincent Sinclair
SFW
Vincent is the absolute sweetest when it comes to your special time of the month.
He knows exactly when it is since he wrote it in his calendar and on the day you start, he'll have pads or tampons ready for you.
Vincent gets Lester to go buy you snacks and he forces Bo to stop being annoying. At the end that's useless anyway, because the second Bo hears the words period, he's gone.
Vince knows how much your hormones can fuck up your emotions so he's always there to provide comfort. If you snap at him, he might feel a bit thrown off but he'll forgive you.
Need a hug? Just tell him. Vincent will be even more tender than he usually is, so careful as not to hurt you.
NSFW
Vincent isn't disgusted by period blood but he's concerned.
That being said he's skeptical about period sex because he doesn't want to cause even more pain than you're already in.
However, he doesn't say no to fingering or going down on you.
He's fine with only giving and not receiving pleasure for the time of your period. Though he'll be relieved when you offer to repay him.
If you insist on real sex, he'll do it for you but he's so much more tender and sweet and careful. Your pleasure is the only thing important to him, especially on your period.
Bo Sinclair
SFW
I am sorry but Bo flees the second he hears period.
When he thinks about it, the only things he remembers are mood swings, no sex, and blood.
Yeah, he's not the most considerate.
It takes a while to make him stay and help you through this time. Maybe after a few years of an ongoing relationship, he'll be willing to try.
The only thing he will do if you ask him to is a message.
NSFW
Bo is absolutely against sex during your period. He finds it absolutely disgusting.
However, Bo is horny and he has a high sex drive.
At the end of it, he might fuck you. After all, the blood usually eases up during the end and the other symptoms do so as well.
Sex while you're actively bleeding though? Never.
Lester Sinclair
SFW
Lester doesn't know a whole lot about periods. His mom died before she could teach him and, unlike his brother Vincent, he doesn't know anything about the human anatomy.
However, that doesn't mean he won't try to help you.
He gets advice from Bo, which he proceeds to ignore because Bo just tells him to leave. Vincent however gives him a clear explanation of how your body works and so he figures out how to help you.
Lester will make sure you're warm, with wrapped blankets around you and hot water bottles on your tummy.
Snacks will always be available and Lester will even feed you if you ask him.
Cuddles are a must. He'll gladly wrap his arms around you, Jonesy lying next to you, cuddled up next to your bodies.
NSFW
At first, he doesn't even understand that things could be different during your period.
Then it hits him that the pain might make it uncomfortable for you.
Lester is totally down to have sex as long as you're fine with it.
If not, he'll be happy to pleasure himself for the time of your period.
Baby Firefly
SFW
Baby knows how shit periods can be. She'll be so understanding and considerate, trying to be the best girlfriend she can be.
Whatever it is you wish, Baby will get it for you.
As a reward, she demands the same though.
If she's on her period, she wants you to show the same consideration she showed you.
If Otis is annoying you, she'll also gladly get him to shut up.
NSFW
Baby doesn't have a problem with period sex, after all, she has quite the experience with blood.
However, she knows how difficult it can be to be horny and in pain during your period.
She'll gladly not receive any pleasure and only go down on you if it makes you feel good.
Otis Driftwood
SFW
He doesn't know shit about periods.
Whenever Baby had her time of the month, he kind of just.. didn't care.
I can see him get high and then have a breakdown because he doesn't know why you're bleeding or how to stop it.
Even if you explain it to him, he won't get it.
He'll give you gifts because he's unsure of what else to do.
NSFW
He... has way too much experience with kinky things to be disgusted by period sex.
As I said, if he's high, the blood could trigger a panic attack.
He won't do oral though, that's not his thing.
Otis doesn't care if you feel pain, he's a sadist. Unless it's really bad, he doesn't even acknowledge it.
Billy Loomis
SFW
He doesn't know a lot about it, but he tries his best.
If you need help in any way, he'll be there for you.
Billy will whine if you make him buy pads. He'll do so anyway because he's a simp.
His advice comes from his male friends, so he'll do the classics, buy chocolates and flowers, and provide many cuddles.
If you snap at him, he'll sulk for a bit.
NSFW
He immediately thought period meant no sex. You'll have to initiate it if you're interested.
He'll push you away at first, confusedly asking about your period.
Billy isn't the biggest fan of period sex. He just doesn't quite like the idea.
His sex drive is too high to say no, so he'll fuck you anyway but he prefers it when you're not bleeding.
Stu Macher
SFW
He will be pretty clingy, trying to be the sweet boyfriend™.
He might forget about your pain over how much of a great boyfriend he is.
Stu will come back to reality when you snap at him and then he suddenly understands that periods aren't cute and wholesome at all.
He learns from that experience.
He's kind of scared now, you just don't know if it's because you're in pain or because you could snap at him again.
Stu is still supportive, he's just way more distant during that time than he used to.
NSFW
Stu also didn't even think about sex during your period.
The first time he gets horny during your period it suddenly hits him. He can't just go and ask you, can he?
It'll take him a while to openly talk about the subject.
He isn't really disgusted by your blood, he just never considered it?!
Stu prefers normal sex over period sex, that way he has less to think about.
Brahms Heelshire
SFW
His mom never told him anything about periods.
He didn't even know they exist.
The first time he sees you bleed he nearly faints from worry.
Brahms needs a lot of explaining to fully understand why your body acts the way it does.
After that, he'll be very timid but supportive with his help.
Cuddles are a daily activity anyway but now he'll be more careful, tenderly caressing your tummy as he snuggles against your skin.
He might even do a few of the chores.
Pro tip: If you act like you're actually dying from how painful it is, he'll be way more compliant.
NSFW
Sex is one of the first things he worries about, how could it not be.
He's kind of shy about the whole topic so the subject will only come up when he's super horny.
Brahms won't fuck you during this time, he'd probably forget about the blood and then panic when he spots it on his dick.
Oral is a must since Brahms' sex drive is extremely high.
In the beginning, he's against giving oral, but he's too aroused to care anymore after a while.
Thomas Hewitt
SFW
Being the queen she is, Luda already taught him a whole lot about female anatomy and periods.
The second he notices your bleeding, he's fully committed to showing all his support.
Thomas is there for you, doesn't matter what you need.
He's tough Y/N, neither your high emotionality nor blood can hurt him.
Tommy is so tender and caring, even more than he usually is.
He is the best slasher out there to care for you during your period.
NSFW
It takes him a lot of convincing to get him to have sex with you during your period.
He's not disgusted, after all, he's been through worse. He just doesn't want you to be in pain.
You need to get him really, really riled up to get him to give in to his urges instead of ignoring them.
His sexual urges feel like a burden to him, especially during your period.
He needs a lot of time and love to understand that it's just natural and nothing to be ashamed of.
Josef
SFW
Uh oh.
Feminist Josef™ shows up.
All women are queens and for the time being, he's going to treat you like one.
Home-cooked meals, warm hugs and he'll even wash your hair!
Josef is also really interested in the anatomy of your body and why and how this whole process happens.
I can see him staring at a tampon with a child-like curiosity in his eyes.
"It just... gets bigger when it's inside?! Wow..."
NSFW
He isn't concerned about sex, his sex drive is pretty low.
If you really want it, he's going to give in but he'll be extra careful.
Josef isn't disgusted by blood, he's mature enough to see it as a normal fluid your body produces.
It kind of boosts his ego, that you want him even during this time of the month.
Amanda Young
SFW
Naw, Y/N, she understands immediately.
She's a pretty busy woman but whenever she has time, her support and help are yours.
Sometimes she'll drop little gifts at your door while you're sleeping, having just come home from work.
If she has time, she'll be unnaturally clingy, cuddling up to you way more than usual.
Her temper does clash with your emotionality sometimes but she'll calm down quickly and apologize.
NSFW
She's fine with no sexual contact for the time of your period.
Amanda is not disgusted by period blood, she just knows how uncomfortable your period can get.
Some soft sex is always in if you want it as well.
She won't do very rough or kinky stuff during this time, you deserve to feel loved, supported, and comfortable.

HOUSE OF WAX!!!
——————————————
BO SINCLAIR x READER: BELTS
Because of Bo being restrained constantly as a kid he hates the idea of belts
This doesn’t mean he won’t wear belts but it’s very rare and when he does his hands will shake as he tries to buckle it
You’d have to pay really close attention in order to see it and if you did you wouldn’t want him to know you noticed
Bo never learned to deal with his emotions properly so if you try to confront him about it he would 10/10 blow up in your face
If he was born just a generation later he’d probably wear the seatbelt style belts so that he can just click and unclick it but he would still have a hard time getting it through the belt loops
There’s a reason he wears his mechanic coveralls most of the time - no belt required
NEVER ask him if he needs your help putting a belt on! He’s having a hard time buckling by himself do you really think his deep rooted trauma would allow you to do it? This is a good way to get yourself strapped to the chair
At the end of the day you’d have better luck getting him into Lester’s critter pit than getting him to wear a belt
Bo was standing in the door way as you sat on the counter with a hot cup of coffee and a book in your hands. He hadn’t even noticed you as he struggled to get the belt through the loops of his old blue jeans. All of his coveralls were thrown in the wash the previous night which left him no choice but to wear normal pants.
You could tell he was getting ticked off as his brows furrowed and he let out agitated grunts. You’d never seen him so frustrated with anything but you’d also never seen him wear a belt in y’all’s entire relationship since he opted to wear coveralls and the occasional suit. Maybe he just wasn’t as steady handed as you once thought or maybe he was still in a pissy mood over the way things went with the tourists yesterday. Whatever it was, you could tell he was getting madder by the minute and it wouldn’t be long before he made it everyone’s problem. In these moments you knew it was best to mind your own business and to let him do his own thing.
At first, his hands had softly trembled but they began to shake violently as he reached the buckle. That was when you realized this had nothing to do with travelers or unsteady hands, this had everything to do with his childhood, what his mom put him through and how differently she treated each twin.
As you watched him finish with his buckle you sat and wondered whether he was even capable of ever loving you as much as he loved Vincent, even though he always acted as if Vinny was a burden to everyone. The only reason Ambrose is still “inhabited” is because Bo was convinced to do this with his twin, because let’s be honest, we all know Bo isn’t the evil mastermind behind all this. He’s a terrible aim and he sucks at first aid so how could it possibly be his idea. Bo is just the shiny fishing lure drawing them towards the hook, but Vincent? Oh Vincent is an artist who does things on his own time. You think Vince would ever be pressured into anything? Definitely not, but Bo would do anything if you made him think it was his idea. It upset you that Bo didn’t have any dreams of his own and it upset you worse when he said his dream was to “help Vincent finish what momma started.” Why couldn’t he do anything for himself? Was it so bad to want your own things?
You quickly flicked your eyes back down to the book as he finally noticed you on the counter. His sight was trained on you as he walked across the kitchen. You finally look up and meet his eyes which still hold traces of anger. Slowly lifting up a cup of coffee, you hold it out towards him hoping he won’t go off. “Good morning, Bo,” you say sweetly as if you hadn’t just seen him riding front seat of the struggle bus.
He looks down at you with a slight scowl as he says, “Y/N, darlin, how long have you been sitting there? You weren’t being some freak by watching me were you?”
“No no! Not at all,” you stuttered, “I was just reading this new book Lester got for me! You should definitely give it a read!” He looked at you skeptically as you quickly hopped off the counter and said, “You should probably prepare the town for the new additions! Busy busy busy! Lots of work to be done! I’ll see you for lunch alright?” With a quick kiss on his cheek, you rush out of the house yelling, “HAVE A GREAT DAY! I LOVE YOU! BYE!”

Baby Gubs (Matthew Gray Gubler / Reader)
Requested: Yes
"Matthew x reader, his wife (the reader) goes into labor, and the next story is the same thing but spencer Reid x reader."
Summary: Matthew Gray Gubler is having a hard time putting his shit together when his wife goes into labor.
Pairing: Matthew Gray Gubler/Reader
Category: Fluff
Warnings: I curse. We all know it.
Word count: 1,3K
A/N: Here's the second part!! I hope you like it!
Masterlist
You can also read Baby Reid
.
- "Ok! It's ok! Everything is ok!"- Matthew ran downstairs and left a bag next to the door. Then, he ran to the kitchen and came back, carrying a bottle of cold water.
- "What ar..."- his wife looked at him confused, sitting on a couch, trying not to laugh, as she caressed her big pregnant belly, trying to breathe each time she felt a contraction. It was time, their son was coming, and Matthew was... well, he was all over the place.
- "You might get thirsty.... oh shit! I have to stop for ice!!"- Gubler kept running all over the house, rambling, hysterical.
- "Matthew..."
- "The doctor said you might eat some ice. I don't remember why... but I have to get you ice."
- "Matthew..."
- "I don't know if I put everything in the bag...."
- "Gubs!!"- (Y/N) slowly stood up and walked to her husband, who was clearly freaking out- "The contractions started just half an hour ago. My water hasn't even..."
But the water that ran down her legs as she spoke stopped her immediately, and she just widened her eyes.
- "What the hell is that?!!"- and Matthew Gray Gubler freaked out even more- "Are you in pain??! are you ok?!"
- "I'm ok. This means my water just broke, but I'm fine. Your son will join us shortly, so I think it's the right time to go to the hospital."- (Y/N) said in the calmest and softest tone of voice she could. She could see her husband's face. He was panicking.
- "Ok, ok... let's go,"- he answered, but didn't move an inch- "I'm not feeling alright. I think I'm gonna puke."
(Y/N) smiled and offered him the bottle of water he had given her earlier.
- "Come on, Gubs, breathe, you can do this. You liked making the baby. You are gonna love this part too."
.
Matthew Gray Guber thought he was prepared for that day. He and (Y/N) got everything ready as the due date of their baby approached. They had their bags ready. They had weekly check-ups with their doctor, and the midwife (Y/N) wanted to deliver their baby.
Matthew was sure he was ready. But he wasn't. Not because he was scared to be a dad. He was born to be a father, and he couldn't wait to hold his son in his arms and play with him. Teach him how to walk, how to ride his bike, take him to Disney, and watch him grow up. He had so many plans for his family. But right that minute, all he felt was fear.
Fear of ruining everything. Fear of being the worst father. Fear of being a bad husband. Fear of letting his wife down.
Somehow, getting closer to fatherhood had also made him feel vulnerable. Aware of all of his mistakes and flaws.
.
- "Honey, are you ok?"- (Y/N) whispered and rubbed his leg sweetly as he drove to the hospital.
- "Yes, yes, I am. How are you, Bunny? how do you feel?"
- "We are ok. I'm texting your mom and my parents."
- "Great, awesome."- Matthew looked at the road and gripped the steering wheel tight. Too tight. His fingers were turning white.
- "Breath, honey."- (Y/N) smiled, thinking she never imagined her husband was going to be so nervous- "Everything will be ok."
- "I know. I know."- he didn't know. He wanted it to be ok, but he was freaking out. "What if." That was all that was in his mind.
- "But, what if I'm a bad father?- he confessed and sighed, defeated by his own fears- "I mean, you are already an amazing mom, look at you, keeping your shit together while I freak out"- his wife smiled and nodded
- "The only reason why I'm not freaking out is that you are here, and I know no matter what, you will always do your best to..."- but she couldn't continue talking. She held her breath and closed her eyes. It was getting harder.
- "Breath, Bunny. You are doing great. Just five more minutes, and we'll be there."
.
(Y/N) meant it. She was only keeping her shit together because Matthew was by her side. She was glad he was home when the contraction started, and her water broke. If he had been at work, she could have lost it. (Y/N) was scared of being alone during that whole process after her best friend had a severe complication at the delivery room and had an emergency c-section. Her baby nearly died, and (Y/N) was terrified something like it might happen to her too.
She was scared of everything that could go wrong, and the only person to make her feel safe was her husband, Matthew Gray Gubler, even when he was freaking out.
.
- "Ok, there's not much time,"- the midwife warned as soon as she checked up (Y/N)- "Honey, we are doing this right now."
- "What?!"- and (Y/N) freaked out- "I need the drugs! Please, give me the drugs! It hurts too much!"
Matthew's heart stopped. (Y/N) was crying in pain, as the midwife prepared everything as fast as she could, along with some nurses.
- "I'm sorry, Mrs. Gubler, but your son is ready to come, and we don't have any time."
- "I can keep him inside a little long, I swear, just... give me something! Please!"- (Y/N) cried in pain and fear.
- "You can do this, Bunny"- Matthew stood by her side, holding her hand and kissing it several times- "I'm here, I'm with you, ok?"
- "But, but..."
- "I know you are scared, I am scared too, but we are going through this together, ok?"
- "No human is coming out of you!!"- she cried and yelled in pain- "Shit!!"
- "Bunny, I would do this for you if I could, but I can't. So please"- Matthew leaned in and kissed her forehead- "Do you want me to call your mom?"
- "No!!"- she held onto his hand as tight as possible- "I want you! I need you!"
- "Ok, ok, then, breath, Bunny. I'm with you, always."
The adoration in Matthew's eyes was undeniable. He was staring at his wife with the deepest and purest love. He was scared, but if there was one thing he was sure about in his life, he wanted to have a family with (Y/N) and make her happy every day.
- "One more push Mrs. Gubler!"
The midwife announced, and soon, in the middle of a chaotic moment, with (Y/N) nearly yelling in pain and Matthew desperately cooing her, there was a cry. And it was a heart-stopping cry. Matthew looked at his son for the first time as the midwife carefully place him on his wife's chest. Gubler broke into tears immediately. He sobbed and laughed at the same time, kissing his wife's lips and staring at their baby in awe.
- "We made a human"- he whispered, and his wife nodded- "How are you feeling?"
- "Never been better"- she whispered and caressed carefully their baby's face- "Hello, baby Gubs."- Matthew chuckled at those words and wiped away the tears from his eyes.
- "Say hello to your daddy,"- (Y/N) muttered and handed the baby to her husband. He carried him as carefully as possible, feeling he was holding the most precious thing in the whole world.
- "Hello, Vincent, I'm your dad. I'm sorry, buddy, but you are stuck with me forever now. I'm not good at sports, but I swear I'm always going to be there to play. I can teach you magic, and we are watching all the Disney movies you want, always. And I promise I will always keep your mommy happy because she is the woman of our lives, and you are the only man on earth I could ever share her love with, ok?"
The baby was no longer crying and looked at his father with his tiny eyes for a moment before the midwife took him.
- "You are amazing,"- Matthew whispered and kissed (Y/N)'s forehead.
- "I wouldn't have done it without you"- she answered and looked at his eyes, still filled with tears.
- "I didn't do anything."
- "We are a team"- she answered and smiled- "Team Gubs."
- "Team Gubs"- he repeated and smiled- "I love how it sounds. I'm making t-shirts with our names."
- "Of course you are."

Killer Queen [Ch. 2]
✏︎ pairing: klaus mikaelson x reader, elijah mikaelson x reader, kol mikaelson x reader
✏︎ summary: y/n Silvius –– daughter of the Alpha of the most respected and powerful pack of the first were-witches (werewolf + witch). She needs to find the remaining Crescent Wolf Pack members as the Elders are planning to reunite the seven packs, namely: Crescent Wolf Pack, Northern Wolves Pack, Moon Shine Pack, River Pack, Lycan Blood Pack, Midnight Stone Pack and the Malraux Pack. On her journey, she met the family whom the witches and werewolves warned her about, The Mikaelson Family.
✏︎ a/n: this is sooooo long but this is when y/n talks about her departure to their hometown and her arrival in New Orleans! thank you so much for taking your time to read chapter 1! here's the chapter 2 :)
✏︎ Chapters: one, two, three, four, five
After the meeting with the Elders, you and your family went back to your own homes. "I'm going to pack and then take a sleep. Good night, Mom. Good night, Dad." You hugged them both tightly. "Dear [y/n], come here. Your dad and I would like to talk to you before you start your journey in finding one of the Crescent Wolf Pack members."
You walked towards your fireplace and sat on the floor in front of them, "What's up?" Your dad, Adoff Silvius, sat near you and told you something about New Orleans, while your mom, Leah Silvius, got the book of the Ancient History of the Wolves.
"Back when I was on my way looking for the Moonstone, I befriended some of the folks in New Orleans. His name is Alaric Saltzman, a history professor. Of course, he never knew me. The people in Mystic Falls thought that the wolves are not real. However, when one of the Lockwoods, Tyler, I think, activated his curse by killing a person, one of them saw it and that's when they know that legends are real. Eventually, I was able to lure the young Lockwood and got the Moonstone before Aiden's dad." He smiled at you. However, that smile faltered when he started talking about New Orleans.
"Okay, Dad. Now, what does your story have to do with my journey to find the Crescent Wolf Packs?" You looked at them both. Your mom, opened the book of the Ancient Wolf Pack, and said, "You, my dear, will be the one who's going to unite the packs. One of my friends in the New Orleans, Vincent, has told me that it would be best if you try to not do any magic and even use your wolf side. The guy running the town, Marcel Gerard, is known for killing the wolves and the witches if they did not abide by his rules." You are saddened by this fact. You know that it's hard for the witches and werewolves to leave their territory as it is where their powers reside. "You have to find the brother of the Hybrid, Elijah Mikaelson. One of the Original Vampires. He can help you. My guy, Vincent, has told me that he can be reasoned out to." You are now starting to get curious about these Originals, the Mikaelsons.
"Back in the day, the wolves are powerful because they are united. The seven packs and us, being the leader of the seven packs, was able to maintain peace between packs. While the Crescent Wolf Packs needed to kill someone to activate their wolf side. While us, coming from the Sanguine Pack, the curse chooses us if we are deemed worthy. That's why there are some members of the family of the Sanguine Pack that until now, at their 30s, 40s and 50s, still not able to activate their werewolf side." Your dad explained that the reason why some of the packs left is because of a misunderstanding. Some packs thought that they don’t need the help of the other pack. Now, your mom is the one who's going to tell you about the situation in the New Orleans.
"If they are the Original Vampires, aren't I walking in a sacred place and might as well get killed in the process?!" You are in distress. All these ancient history talks are now spiraling in your head. "The Mikaelsons, as the Elders would tell us, are the dangerous, and well dysfunctional family in the world. Legend says that they will do anything for their family even if it means killing or sacrificing their loved ones." Now you are scared. "However, they are the only chance you have to find one of the Crescent Wolf Pack members as his brother is a Hybrid. The hybrid's name is Niklaus Mikaelson. He's got a witch sister too, Freya Mikaelson."
You thought to yourself, Thank God at least there's a witch in the family.
"Now, dear. Your father and I loves you so much. As much as we wanted to help you, this is part of the process. We believe in you. Our daughter, our heir. You are the most powerful were-witch of your generation. And in no doubt, you will be the first female Alpha of the pack." Your parents hugged and kissed you. Well, being an only child has its pros sometimes. You said your good night to them.
You started packing your grimoires, your weapons, a weapon that is made from the ancient white oak stake - legend says that this ancient white oak stake is the best wood to kill or to protect yourself from. That's why ever since you started learning how to create a weapon, you used them to create one.
The next day, you and Aiden trained in combat and learned protection spells as the next day, both of you will start your journey to become an Alpha. "How are you doing, [Y/N]?" He sat beside you. "You know, Aiden, when we were young we've always been competing side to side. Now that it has come to this, I now wish for us to stay alive in the process. Good lord, vampires out there? Crazy." He drank the water and said to you, "If I become the Alpha, you can still be an Alpha. The wife of the Alpha. Marry me, [Y/N]." You chuckled and said, "Aiden! You're like one of my closest friends in the pack! Never gonna happen!" Aiden smirked, "I know that's going to be your answer. Just stay safe and stay alive, okay? Either of us has only one goal: to protect the Sanguine Pack and unite the seven packs." Both of you hugged and went on your homes for the night. Tomorrow is the day when both of you are going to each of your tasks.
___________________
Today's the day. Before you and Aiden left the pack, the Elders gave you two a powerful protection spell to ensure your safety and whatever happens, the two of you will come back alive. And as for you, your mom made you drink vervain. She said that it’ll help you to not be compelled by the vampires. You bid your good-byes to your friends and family. Your parents told you that if it is an emergency, then you'll have to call them as soon as possible. Your pack's residing in the Appalachian Mountains in Virginia. You thought to yourself that this is going to be a long ride.
____________________
After almost 12 hours of driving, you now reached New Orleans. As soon as you stepped in the New Orleans, you can see that the city’s full of life. Different to the place you’ve grown up to. In the mountains, the life is chill. But in this city, it’s also chill but there’s always a buzz everywhere you go.
Before you go out of the car, you messaged your mom and told her that you just got in the city. After checking in the Palace Royal Hotel, as you were walking, you saw a voodoo shop called Jardin Gris. You went inside and asked for some herbs, and a girl named Sabine asked you, “Are you a witch?” You were shocked by the question, “Uh, no! I was just passing by. I’m a tourist! I’m [y/n]!” Sabine looked at you from head to toe, “Well, I thought you were a witch. You were wearing some kind of necklace that only a person who knows a powerful witch can have. And I can sense it too.” You are now literally breaking into sweats when a blonde girl walked in, “Hey, witch!” You heard the girl talk to Sabine. You tried not to pry but when Sabine asked the girl, “To what do I owe the displeasure, Mikaelson?” You asked yourself, a Mikaelson? The Original Vampire?
“I need a camphor. Now.” You saw the lady Mikaelson wait for the witch. She’s gorgeous, you thought to yourself. You realized that like you werewolves, they’re blending in the humans too. When she went out, you sneakily followed her but you when you went out, she’s gone.
You continued your tour around the place. The night time came and the city’s been livelier than ever. Parties and drinking everywhere. You went inside the bar called, Rousseau’s. A bartender girl named Tanya, greeted you, “Ohhh, new face. What’s up?” You seated at one of the stools in front of her, “[y/n]. Just a tourist from Virginia. Scotch please, thanks.”
After awhile, you feel yourself getting drunk. Someone sat beside you, the blonde girl from the shop and a guy wearing a tailored suit. The guy looked expensive, you thought to yourself.
You heard them talking about a girl named Sophie and about a bunch of witches are plotting against their brother. “We need a witch to do an unlinking spell, Rebekah. It is for the safety of our niece and Hayley.” The girl beside him replied, “We need a witch to do the spell. And after that, I’m leaving this bloody town, Elijah.” You thought to yourself, “Unlinking spell? That’s so basic.” You weren’t sure why but the two of them stared at you, and you asked them, “What?” The guy asked you, “Do we know you? It seems like you’re new in town.” They waited for your response, “What’s with this town and that they keep on asking me if I am new in town?” The blonde girl smirked, “I like her.” However, before they speak again, you left them.
While you were walking, the alcohol starts to leave your system. You sat in one of the bench at Jackson Square. The square is empty, however, there are three vampires who started hovering around you.
“What the hell? What do you want?” One of them started leaning towards you, it looks like they are trying to compel you. But you said to them, “Freaks!” You ran as much as you can but due to you not being on your werewolf form, you cannot ran as fast as you can. “Stop right there! How can you not be compelled? Damn it! Vervain’s in your system. I thought we’ll have a dinner for tonight.” You thought that they were walking away, however, you used magic and you snapped their heads. You ran back in your hotel, and you pray that no one knew that you just practiced magic.
After showering, you heard a knock on your door, you recognize him as the guy from the bar. “Hello, I believe this is yours.” He was holding your necklace, you checked your neck, and you realized that it’s gone. “Give that to me!” The man won’t give it to you. “You realize that you just used magic in New Orleans where a vampire, who runs the town, forbids the use of magic.” You stopped trying to get the necklace and told him, “I just did. I’ll be damned if I let those psycho blood suckers kill me.” The man in front of you gave your necklace, however, there’s a catch. “I’ll give this to you but you need to help me break a link between two persons.” You furrowed your eyebrows and said, “And who are you? Why would I help you then?”
“I’m Elijah Mikaelson, and I need your help.”

You can take everything I have
You can break everything I am

Chapter 1 Chapter 2
Chapter 3 Chapter 4
Chapter 5 Chapter 6
Chapter 7
Summary: With the next winter holiday things get to their lowest point. But rock bottom is always the place to start building up.
A/N: So this was supposed to be super angsty with no end in sight but ya know, I changed my mind. This is angsty don’t get me wrong, but this is also where choices are made and people are changed for the better or worse. Sidenote: I just ended a four year relationship yesterday and ya know. I’m great. Anyway. Love yall!! Let me know that you think as always!!
Draco and I stood at the Manor gates. Dark clouds rolled in, suffocating us. They threatened with snow, ice, and fury.
“It’s the Dark Magic,” Draco noted, his voice seemingly indifferent, taking my hand.
I nodded, sighing. Something was to be said about missing sunny days and warmth. Even in the dead of winter, this chill sat differently on our shoulders. Winter promised spring... this artic promised nothing but death.
Inside and unpacked, Draco and I shared a bit of tea in front of a warm fire. He was reading The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe aloud, and despite my adoration of the book, I couldn’t seem to lose myself in the words as I once had. Even with the silkiness of Draco’s voice. I now had a deeper understanding for Narnians before the events of the book. An endless winter with only a small gossamer of hope to cling too.
“Wrong will be right, when Aslan comes in sight,
At the sound of his roar, sorrows will be no more,
When he bares his teeth, winter meets its death,
And when he shakes his mane, we shall have spring again.”
The words mocked me. Draco seemed to pick up on my disinterest.
“Don’t tell me you don’t prefer the book any longer?” There was a soft teasing smile on his lips as he closed the book, setting it on his lap. It was the one I had given him almost a year ago.
“No, I do,” It was a sad sigh. “I just... do you think someone is out there for us? An Aslan to come and save us?” I hugged my knees.
“Well, you know as well as I do,” He took the same book and flipped further back before settling on a page that seemed to satisfy him.
"Dearest," said Aslan very gently, "you and your brother will never come back to Narnia."
"Oh, Aslan!!" said Edmund and Lucy both together in despairing voices.
"You are too old, children," said Aslan, "and you must begin to come close to your own world now."
"It isn't Narnia, you know," sobbed Lucy. "It's you. We shan't meet you there. And how can we live, never meeting you?"
"But you shall meet me, dear one," said Aslan. "Are — are you there too, Sir?" said Edmund.
"I am," said Aslan. "But there I have another name. You must learn to know me by that name. This was the very reason why you were brought to Narnia, that by knowing me here for a little, you may know me better there."
A smile brushed my lips as he closed the book again.
“But do you think that was meant for us?” I laid my head on his shoulder.
“I think that it was meant to give hope,” Draco decided after a quiet moment, “Aslan, by any other name, would still be something to believe in,”
“Unless that name happens to be Harry Potter,” I chuckled, drawing a laugh from Draco. “And have you been reading my Shakespeare?”
“Maybe a bit,” A smile toyed at his lips.
“Romeo and Juliet though?” I rolled my eyes. “I told you, it wasn’t a good story to read presently,”
“I think you also told me that it was worth keeping the books that didn’t have a happy ending,” Draco set the book on the coffee table and pulled me into his hold.
“Do you think we’ll have one?” I asked softly. “A happy ending?” His face was hard to read as his eyes fixed on the burning fire.
“How can we with what we’re going to do?” The words echoed in my thoughts as we both sobered.
The plea for him to not do what he was asked of came rushing to my lips, but I held them there. I wouldn’t tell him. I had decided on that long ago. This was the one choice that he needed to figure out how to make on his own. I was torn myself. I wanted to tell him to stop, to help him make this choice, but I couldn’t. I didn’t know how to. But I could stay beside him... I prayed that it would be enough for him.
Even with the holiday upon us, the air was void of excitement and magic. The Manor was decorated immaculately even still. Tears stung my eyes, when thinking that this was the first Christmas I ever had without my mother, without baking or cooking or the music or movies. There was nothing to do in the kitchen with the house elves working and practically shoving me out of the room. There was nothing to clean. Nothing to tidy or move... It felt unnatural. Draco pulled me into his arms, giving me the comfort that I craved so desperately.
“Your mother is arriving soon,” He murmured softly. “Are you going to be alright?”
“I think so... we’ve been civil through writing. How bad could this possibly be?” My words were cynical but hopeful still. “Besides... at least it won’t be just the four of us. By comparison my mother will be a delight,”
“Bellatrix has agreed to be civil, and Snape always comes for Christmas. Or has before the last couple years at least. He’s my godfather, you know. He and my father were close when they were young,” Draco’s voice was strained. “But I suppose they will all be needles in a haystack,”
“It was right to invite the rest of...” I trailed off. “They’re alone too,”
“Always the Hufflepuff, are we?” He mused softly.
I hummed in acknowledgement. I was still wary about Bellatrix attending supper. Too many things had the chance of going poorly.
“You know we have to do this,” He read my thoughts.
“The perfect children. The perfect couple. The perfect soldiers.” I sighed. “What I wouldn’t give to go back to that night at the Ball. Or the month after...”
“It’s ironic,” Draco chuckled darkly. “That we now know ignorance is bliss,” I nodded at the doorbell chimed throughout the house.
“Ready?”
“As I’ll ever be,”
It was something quite different dining with just the Slytherins and dining with their parents as well. It wasn’t just I and Draco who were playing perfect children, but all of my friends, everyone I knew. All sapped of joy, of smiles, expression... under the scrutiny of their parents. Blaise, Vincent, Greg, Theo, and Pansy.
“How has schooling been?” My mother tried asking as the first course was served.
“Well—”
“Ugh,” Bellatrix scoffed. “Who can learn anything with that daft old fool as headmaster?”
“Bellatrix,” Narcissa warned gently.
“Yes, yes. Civil. As you wish,” She rolled her eyes and slouched, digging into what I assumed was quail.
Draco and I shared a look. Attempts for conversations halted after that.
Dinner passed and I barely tasted any of the surely rich foods that were placed before me. After the awkward affair, my mother asked to speak with me in private. Draco, Narcissa, and oddly enough, Snape eyed me warily.
“Of course,” I gave Draco one last look. He looked as if he were ready to pick me up and make a run for it, but he refrained.
I led her to the small rose garden that Draco had once led me to. It seemed sacrilegious to tread upon this secret haven, but it was a place that gave me comfort. Though it was covered in snow and the trees and bushes were bare, I still remembered the summer warmth the garden offered.
“You have surrounded yourself with quite a group people my dear,” Her voice strained out the words. “And that dress is lovely,”
“A gift from Narcissa,” A tight smile touched my lips.
“So, you’ve replaced me then?”
I turned, frowning at my mother.
“You really think that?” I was baffled.
“Well look at you! New dress, new shoes, new friends! You’re living and dining with a bunch of Death Eaters for Merlin’s sake!”
“Yes, because I had so much of a choice to abandon the people I love and come home and live with my mother who lied to me for fifteen years and manipulated me!” I watched as my sharp words silenced her.
“You could have come home any time,” It was a quiet notion.
“No, I couldn’t have,” I wrapped my arms around myself and took a deep breath. “I’m going inside,”
“Please, dear. It is Christmas,”
“Yes,” I turned to face her. “And I’d rather be inside with Draco, if you can understand that.”
“Draco,” It was nearly a sneer. “I have heard... rumors about him.”
“I really don’t think you have any right to say a word,” I said, my tone as ice.
“You’re blind. Your own love blinds you to who he really is. You’re going to get hurt,” There was an air of concern in her voice.
“No! I’ve spent years of my life terrified of letting people in because you’ve got it so deeply ingrained in me that I might get hurt! Well you were wrong about the world! And you were wrong about me!” I stalked up to her. “I have done things that you will never know! That you will never understand! I’m living through a war for god’s sake mom! And you’re here yelling at me about who I’m dating!?” I took a small step back, shaking my head. “This was a mistake...”
“Y/n, wait, please, you have to understand—”
“No mom! You... you don’t get to just waltz in here and ask me to understand! I don’t have to understand, and you really don’t get to give a damn after all you put me through! Don’t you think I want to have my mother here for me!? That it doesn’t kill me inside because I’ve never felt so alone in my life!? That everything I’ve known has been pulled from under me and while I’m trying to set myself somewhere new you just criticize me!? No! You just...”
“And what would your father say?”
I gaped at her, enraged.
“How dare you!?” I annunciated each word. “Dad would be damn proud of me! And he never would have let you do what you did to me! I am supposed to be your daughter! But I’m done.”
Without another word I stalked up to the house and inside, fuming. Draco caught me at the door, but I shrugged him off.
“Love,”
“No,” I snapped. “I need to cool down, just...” Wordlessly I headed upstairs before collapsing behind a random locked door, sobbing.
After a while, when my tears had subsided and my frame only shook minimally, I pulled myself up off the ground and stumbled over to a vanity. It must have been a guest room that I found myself in.
The girl looking back was a mess. Tear tracks stained with mascara ran down her cheeks and red lipstick was smudged out of place. Her hair was hanging haphazardly and out of order. Her eyes were red and puffy, and her lips etched into a permanent grimace.
There was a knock at the door.
“Go away, Draco,” I sniveled.
“Do I look like that blond-haired prat to you?” The door clicked closed softly as I saw Pansy’s reflection in the mirror.
“Pansy, please... I—”
“You don’t have to tell me anything. I’m not here to console you, not particularly,” She came up beside me and leaned against the vanity. “Everything’s really fucked up, huh?” Her voice was depressed as she looked down.
“That doesn’t even begin to describe it,” I muttered.
“You know, I can’t tell my parents about Abby at all,” Her confession was small and weak. “She’s not a pureblood, and well, they’re not as accepting as her parents are about our relationship...”
I looked up at her, my eyebrows furrowed, trying to figure out why she was telling me this now.
“We haven’t spoken all holiday,” This wasn’t the strong confident Pansy I was used to seeing, but rather a broken scared teenager. “She’s mad at me because I won’t tell my parents about her, and I... I can’t do it. I’m a coward,”
I let out a hopeless laugh and smiled at her.
“I just told my mother off and now I really think I’ve been disowned,” A dry humor coated my voice. “And I’m in love with the son of the man who killed my father,”
“Well shit girl,” Pansy laughed. “You make my problems seem so trivial,”
“Not my intention,” A smile met my lips. “And I’m really sorry about you and Abby... not saying that it’s anywhere near the same... but I’m aware of what it’s like to be scrutinized for my choice in partner.”
Pansy nodded and a silence fell between us.
“You’re going to run yourself thin, Y/n. Trying to be everything for everyone.” Her voice returned to its somber mood.
“I think I’ve past that point,” I muttered darkly.
“Then tell me, little Hufflepuff, who are you going to be?” There was a slight challenge in her eyes. “You don’t have parents watching over your every move, you don’t have the constant expectations.”
“I can’t just—”
“And why not?” She shot back.
“Because I have to protect Draco,” I breathed out. “Play the part and get through this,”
She eyed me; eyebrow raised but said nothing. “If that’s what you think,” She mused.
“What the hell is that supposed to mean?” I shot back.
“Well, the girl I met a couple years ago would stop at nothing to be herself even if it meant being teased and bullied by a couple Slytherins. The same girl who cut off all her hair and started to fight back. I just wondered what changed.”
I opened my mouth to refute her point but refrained. A lot had changed. Draco was a Death Eater now. We had a trial to get through alive or we would both die. I had to somehow manage not to get killed by his aunt preferably. I still had to pass my bloody N.E.W.T.s as if the rest wasn’t enough.
“Tell me, or don’t. But I care about Abby and Draco a lot. And now I’ve got this kid sister under my wing and I don’t want to see her drive herself into the ground like I have. This war is shit, but you... Y/n, you’re someone to believe in.”
I tutted out a laugh. “I’m a mess. Please don’t believe in me,”
“But that’s what makes you so valuable to all of us. Blaise, Theo, Vin, and Greg too. You gave us all a second chance. It doesn’t take much to lay down your life for a good man, but to forgive a bunch of villains?”
“You’re not villains,” I refuted.
“See, that there. That’s why we believe in you.” Pansy smiled. “Even through it all, you still are kind and believe in us,” She tucked my hair behind my ear. “Now let’s get you cleaned up, because I’m sure Draco is on the verge of breaking in here himself,”
I laughed and pulled her into a hug.
“Thanks Pans,”

Draco paced outside the door as he heard your ragged sobs coming from within wishing nothing more than to go in there and hold you. But you had asked for space, so he tried to honor that. Draco jumped when he felt a hand on his shoulder.
“Pansy?” he asked, relaxing a bit. “What—”
“I’ve got this lover boy,” She smiled and patted his shoulder.
“She doesn’t want to be bothered,” Draco defended, glowering.
“Maybe not by you, but I think she needs a sister about now, what do you think?” Pansy raised an eyebrow at him, and it reminded him of all the times that Pansy had been there to be a sister to him and he nodded, knowing that it might help you more that he could.
Draco leaned against the wall, next to the bedroom door, his eyes closed.
“Draco?”
He peaked an eye open to find his mother on the landing with him.
“Is she alright?” Soft concern colored his mother’s voice.
“I have no idea,” It was a ragged whisper. “I knew we shouldn’t’ have invited her mother. I knew it was a bad idea,”
Narcissa laid a hand on his shoulder and tilted his chin up so that his eyes reached hers.
“It was going to happen eventually, but maybe now she can get some closure from it,” His mother sighed. “I remember the night that Andy walked out... it was weeks before that last fight and I could see how much it drained her. And you know it’s been hurting her too,”
“Andy?”
“Your aunt, Andromeda.” Narcissa smiled sadly. “Married a muggle and was disowned... she was barely older than you,”
“Talking about our dear sister again?” Another voice snarked from behind them.
They both turned to see Bellatrix leaning against the stair banister.
“She was a traitor, Cissy,” The witch sneered. “Walked away from this family. Married a muggle,”
“I know,” Narcissa’s voice was strained. “But I thought perhaps it would give some insight to what Y/n is going through,”
“Are you sympathizing with our dear sister then? Are you a traitor sister mine?” Bellatrix raised an eyebrow.
“Of course not,” His mother snapped. “If anything, Y/n has just affirmed her loyalty by turning her back on her muggle loving family,”
Draco knew the words were said to appease Bellatrix, but still he flinched at the reality of them and what it looked like on the outside. He knew that was far from the truth. He knew that you had walked out on your mother because she had a problem with you being with him. It had nothing to do with blood status. But perhaps the wicked narrative would keep you safe.
Three pairs of eyes snapped up as the door opened. Pansy emerged first, a smile on her face and you followed behind. You were smiling and held your head high. You were also barefoot, your stilettos in hand. Draco smiled at the sight.
His aunt on the other hand.
“Improper if you ask me,” She muttered.
“I don’t think anyone did,” The smile on your face was tight and he had to refrain from laughing at the look of shock on Bellatrix’s face. “My apologies Narcissa, I do believe that I may have ruined your dinner party,”
“Think nothing of it my dear,” His mother smiled. “I’m just glad to see that you’re alright.”
Tucked by his side, Draco tried to read your facial expressions, but even he couldn’t pick anything up. What you showed him seemed real. A real smile and real confidence, but he doubted that it was really the case given the present circumstances. But perhaps it wasn’t far fetched after all.
Bellatrix glared at you, but you held no air of worry or fear. Instead it was almost as if you were challenging her. Which left him wondering what in Merlin’s name had Pansy talked to you about.
Draco kept a close eye on you all night, but you really did seem alright. Curled up under his arm on the sofa in the company of just your friends, you were almost at ease. He itched to know what had happened between you and Pansy, but there was never a moment alone with just the two of you.
The night wound down, and soon it was only you, him, and his mother left in the large house. The both of you had drifted to the sitting room that held the grand piano. Draco’s fingers danced along the ivory keys, remembering how last Christmas he had composed for the first time. Your song was still remembered under his fingertips as it became a part of mini concert.
Christmas morning came and there were few presents under the tree, most of them trivial. Christmas seemed trivial. He had gotten a pack of permanent markers from Abby with a note saying that you would know what to do with them. You had gotten a pair of diamond earrings from him—and his mother. You both agreed, however, not to get each other anything. It was a depressing notion, but there was simply nothing to say about the occasion.
That evening, you donned your cloak and smiled at him softly.
“I’m gonna go visit Papa,” Your voice was soft and subtle. “Would you like to join me?”
His eyebrows shot up in surprise. He never expected for you to invite him to something like this. After the events of yesterday he didn’t feel worthy to go with you, let alone meet your father.
“It’s okay Draco, I can go alone,”
“No,” It was immediate. “You’re not going alone,”
Draco never thought that your father would be buried here. At Godric’s Hollow. He supposed it was a common place for wizards to be buried, but... he didn’t make the connection. There were others here as well and he could hear the faint hymns being sung at the church down the road. You and he were just cloaks in the crowd, two hoods visiting a loved one. You paused at a gravestone.

A Father and Husband
~Have Courage and Be Kind~
“Happy Christmas Papa,” You whispered softly, waving your wand, riding the gravestone of snow and frost. You sank to your knees, tears in your eyes and a smile on your lips. “I brought someone here to meet you,” Your fingertips brushed the stone. “This is Draco, Draco Malfoy. I know you probably don’t like the last name Papa, but... he is good,”
Tears welled in Draco’s eyes at the interaction. He stooped beside you, wrapping an arm around your shoulders.
“Hello,” His voice was tight. “You have a wonderful daughter,” A pause. “And though I cannot atone for my father’s mistakes, I will try. And I will be someone worthy of her affection and love,”
You laid your head on his shoulder, not saying anything, but rather enjoying the quiet night, the soft snow starting to fall. Drawing his wand, Draco conjured a small wreath of holly at the bed of the grave.
“He would be so proud of you,” Draco murmured. “As I am.”
“He would be proud of you too,” You looked up at him, snowflakes on your eyelashes. “We should go before the snow gets worse. I can feel it growing dangerous,”
Draco’s eyes darted around to the other mourners in dark colors that made only your silver cloak stand out when his eyes landed on a rather large focal statue. You followed his gaze and stood, standing.
“Do you think Harry has ever...?” The question was soft.
“I don’t think he knows it’s here,” Draco answer truthfully, his brows tugging together.
He led you down the rows of headstones until you were before Lily and James’ gave. It was sobering, seeing it like this. Draco knew the legends and stories, of course, but looking at the small bundle etched in the stone, cradled in Lily’s arms, it seemed almost too real. With your wand, you used the same spell and cleared the grave of frost and snow.
“As much of a prick that he is...” You trailed off. “I hope he’s having a good Christmas,”
Draco hummed in acknowledgement.

Narcissa greeted us at the door to the Manor. A warning in her eyes. The warning, proven to be in vain because nothing could prepare us for what was awaiting inside. The treacherous smile of Bellatrix greeted us, as she was flanked by two others, in hoods and masks—deeming them unidentifiable. Even though I had seen her the night before, her civility seemed to have vanished.
“The young prince returns, dear sister,” Bellatrix cooed. “But he has not been such a good young prince now has he?” She twirled her wand in her hand as Draco took a step in front of me, his own wand out.
“Bellatrix,” A steady recognizable voice called.
My eyes snapped to the right where Snape stood. His nonchalant demeanor almost blending in with the gloom that hung in the air.
“You know his fate, Bellatrix,” Snape did not attempt to stop her, but something held in his words accomplished the feat.
“Yes,” Her head cocked to one side as she drawled out the word. “But he is not above the Dark Lord’s law. And that goes for his harlot.”
“You will not speak to her like that,” Draco spat, growling.
I placed a hand on his shoulder. I could handle some name calling. I was just desperately trying to figure out Bellatrix’s game and why she had come back and why the hell Snape was here too.
“You know, you might have gotten away with it, little tramp, had the Ministry and that blood traitor Weasley stepped in and torn through the enchantments,” The purr fell from her lips. “And Cissy you should really know better than to leave me alone anywhere,”
Bellatrix waved her wand and I felt unseen hands grab my arms and drag me forward, to the center of the foyer, and then they were gone, causing me to stumble onto my knees. I glowered up at the witch, picking myself up and drawing my wand.
“Bellatrix!” This time it was Narcissa.
“Worry not little sister,” The witch stalked up to me, her wand tracing along the scar that resided under my shirt: from her knife the last time we had met. “She is in no harm... The Dark Lord has plans for her after all... But I am afraid that her possessions...”
My eyes went wide. I shoved the idea that the Dark lord had plans for me and finally figured out her game. The reason she was here.
My room in the manor. Filled with my muggle books, and records, and photos... Everything I had left from the family and home I no longer had.
“Yes, little pet.” Bellatrix snapped. “But I wanted to take this as a learning opportunity. That the Dark Lord will expect nothing less than perfection—dedication.”
“Bellatrix, please—” I started, only for my voice to be taken by a flick of her wand.
“You will be silent, little toad,” She snapped.
I turned, and saw Draco standing with his mother, pure fury written on his face as Narcissa held him back. As much as I yearned for his touch and comfort, I knew that this had to be played very carefully for us to survive. His eyes met mine.
“Come, come,” The deranged witched cooed almost happily.
Draco wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me along beside him. I looked up at him with frantic questions in my eyes, but he just shook his head. Though I couldn't hear the others behind us, I was sure they were there. Standing at the door of what was once my room, I saw the scattered books, torn pages, and absolute destruction that was in the room’s wake. Tears welled in my eyes at the sight. Draco’s and Narcissa’s arms around me were the only thing that held me back from running forward to save something—anything.
“Draco,” Bellatrix motioned him forward. Rigidly he let me go and took a step forward.
“The Dark Lord and every Death Eater believes that Purebloods are superior. That Muggles are filth and should not be considered human. And yet you allow such scum in your house. Muggle scum.” Bellatrix turned to Draco. “Destroy them. Prove your loyalty, little prince.”
Narcissa’s arms became a vice grip, holding me up instead of holding me back. I ducked into her shoulder, not being able to bring myself to watch what I knew had to be done.
“Confringo,”
Time passed. I wasn’t sure how much time. Maybe seconds... maybe an hour. Everything froze around me. My lung burned for oxygen. My eyes saw nothing. There was nothing left for me to see. Nothing but destruction in wake.
________________________________
“Draco give her mind time to protect itself,” Snape’s calm voice chided, watching the young boy pace outside the room you were in, nursed by Narcissa.
“No.” He snapped. “She—Fuck she’s going to hate me! Do you realize what I’ve just done!” He nearly screeched. “I’ve just destroyed everything—”
“And rightfully so!” Snape hissed. “Do you think the Dark Lord would be as forgiving as Bellatrix? If he came here and saw such things?” Snape’s eyes narrowed. “If it weren’t for the Dark Lord’s plans for her, she’d be under a gravestone by now.”
“Plans for her!?” Draco rushed his teacher, wand out. “No. He doesn’t touch her.” The threat was malicious and icy.
“It is out of your hands,” Snape merely brushed Draco’s wand away. “Has today not been enough for you to understand that there is no other choice for you here?”
Draco took a cool step back. “Crystal.”
The door opened and two pairs of eyes snapped and fell upon a weary Narcissa.
“She is awake,” Her voice wavered slightly. Narcissa walked forward and placed a hand on her son’s shoulder. “She’s asking for you,”
Ice ran through Draco’s veins as dread filled his chest. Maybe this was it. Maybe this was goodbye. Maybe this finally broke you. It’s what he dreaded the most, but knew it was coming.
You were sitting up, on the edge of the bed, your gaze cast to the floor.
“Y/n, please, you have to—”
You held your hand up and shook your head.
“Books... can be bought again. So, can records...”
“But they—I...”
“Draco,” You called, squeezing your eyes shut. “I know.” Your voice was curt. “I know, but right now, if I dwell on that...”
He nodded and looked down.
“Can you ever forgive me?” Tears welled in his eyes as he sat beside. “Please forgive me,”
“You had no choice,” Your voice was small. “They’re just... things.” Your eyes still didn’t open. “They’re trying to break us. Break me. The Dark Lord has plans for me,” You almost scoffed. “Like I’m his pawn. Like I belong to him!” You stood pacing the room. “Well you know what? He can watch me bleed, he can watch me burn, but I will not give in!” Your voice was vehement. “I—won’t—break,”
Draco gaped at you, utterly shocked. This was... new. This was different. This was also the first time that he had ever seen you so adamantly speak against the Dark Lord with such fervor. A kind of courage that he wished he possessed. A determination that made him believe that maybe, if nothing else, you would get through this. It gave him hope that maybe he would too.
You sat beside him again and took a deep breath, running a hand through your hair.
“How are you feeling?” You voice was gentle and soft.
“Shouldn’t I be asking you that?” A small smile touched his lips.
A shrug fell from your shoulders and your hand ran up and along his left arm. The action alone eased the ache of the magic etched into his skin.
“I hate what I am,” He confessed through tears. “I hate what I’ve done and what I have to do. I... I don’t want to kill anyone. I don’t want to hurt anyone,” Sobs wracked his frame. “And I don’t know how you’re getting through this so well because I’m just breaking. I’m broken.”
Your arms wrapped around him, head resting on his shoulder.
“And that’s okay,” You pressed a kiss to his shoulder. “Go ahead and break. You’ve been strong too long, Draco.” Your hand ran through his hair.
He clung to you desperately, sobbing into your shoulder, hiding there. And he did break. He broke on you. He came apart at the seams in your hands and you held him together.
“I—I don’t w-want to kill him,” He sniveled. “W-why haven’t you tried to stop me?” He started to hiccup from the lack of oxygen.
You took his shoulders and looked him in the eye.
“Deep breath,” You instructed and took an exaggerated breath waiting for him to follow suit. It was shaky and ragged, but Draco managed a couple. “And because I wanted you to figure that out on your own. I wanted you to make that choice,” Your thumb brushed away his tears. “And I’m so proud of you for making it,”
He nodded and collapsed back into your arms a sense of relief flooding through him despite the threats that closed in from all sides.

“M-miss?”
It was early January when the house-elf came to me, clutching something in her hands tightly. Cassie, I thought was her name.
“Yes?” I knelt down, a soft demeanor to the action.
“I—I am—” She started to hyperventilate, tears in her wide eyes.
“It’s alright, sweetheart,” I soothed softly. “I won’t hurt you, nor tell you to hurt yourself. You’re safe in my presence,” I held my hands out, a slow action, showing the cowering house elf that they were empty and held no threat.
“I—I have been a b-bad house elf,” She cried. “I s-stole from M-miss,”
I frown furrowed my brows. I couldn’t think of anything that I owned that was worth stealing. A depressing thought tacked on that I didn’t own anything worthwhile even to me at the moment.
“It’s alright,” I smiled something sad.
The house elf held out what she was clinging too.
My photo album, the gift from Abby last Christmas. Tears sprung in my eyes as I hastily snatched the book from the house elf’s grasp.
“P-p-please do n-n-not be cross with C-C-Cassie,” The elf sobbed. “S-she likes l-l-looking at the p-p-pictures of h-h-happy mom-ments.”
“Oh, I’m not mad,” I quickly rushed out. “Not even in the slightest,” Tears streamed down my face. “You saved this,” I set the album down and drew the elf into a hug that she tried to scramble from but eventually relaxed, sobbing into my shoulder. “Thank you, thank you.” I cried.
“P-P-Please do not tell Master D-Draco,” She sniveled. “Y-Y-You have a-a-always been k-k- kind to us e-e-e-elves, p-p-please,”
“Y/n?” Draco’s voice was concerned. “Tell me what?” Cassie squawked and hid behind me, cowering.
“M-m-m-master D-Draco,” The elf stammered apologies.
“What’s going on?” Draco was reserved, a mask of calm.
“Cassie, she saved my album.” I ran my fingers over the leather cover. “She took it from my room I guess... said she liked to look at the photos,”
Shock and relief flitted across Draco’s face in waves. He knelt down beside me and brought the book into his hands tears in his eyes.
“Thank you,” He spoke softly to the house elf. “Thank you for saving what I couldn’t,”
“Draco,” I chided softly, reaching out for him. “It wasn’t your fault,”
“Regardless if it was or not,” He turned his attention back to the house elf. “You have my deepest gratitude,”
I flipped to a worn page by my own hand, to a day last year in the snow of four friends laughing and smiling. It wasn’t much, but I supposed it was something to believe in.

Matthias Schoenaerts full interview for De Morgen Magazine (original in Flemish, translated into English by @matthiasschoenaertsdaily)
Interview by Els Maes, published on November 28, 2020
Even a global pandemic will not destroy the optimism of actor Matthias Schoenaerts (42). Because he knows from his own experience how much beauty can emerge from the most hopeless situations. "I've had my back against the wall often enough, I'll always find a way out."
A bleak autumn day on a concrete square. There is lukewarm coffee, lukewarm Chimay and rolling tobacco. At dusk we see the silhouettes of fat rats that shoot past our ankles. And yet Matthias Schoenaerts will tell us in a glowing argument that this, here and now, is the very best place to be. That there is so much beauty to discover, he says. Le paradis c'est ici. As long as we want to see it.
"It's strange to say in this unpleasant period, but I've enjoyed the past few months enormously. It's the first time in ten years, since Runskop actually, that I'll be home for a long period of time. This is so beneficial: I am photographing, painting, writing. I can devote time and attention to the very simple things we'd otherwise race past."
"Seriously, look at that," he says, picking a leaf off the ground. "Those colors, that pattern. I can spend hours looking at the pure beauty of the things that surround us."
Above us a pigeon is wreaking havoc between the thinned out foliage. "While you are singing about the wonderful beauty of nature, that animal is going to shit on our heads," I say. "And that too will be a s-p-l-e-n-d-i-d moment," Schoenaerts answers.
Matthias Schoenaerts is Belgium's most successful international film star. But here and now, on a bench in his hometown, he is a technically unemployed actor, an all-round searching artist, but above all: fighter of cynicism. "I refuse to go along with all negativity and fear. The true battle today is cynicism versus courage. And I always choose the latter."
We're on the Oudevaartplaats, the square that everyone knows as the Antwerp Bird Market, and where Schoenaerts' childhood memories are waiting to be picked up. It comes into the conversation just like that: Brando, the cute chow chow that little Matthias got from his mom on this square, when here on the bird market puppies were still sold. "My dogs were my great loves. The home situation was often difficult, and with my dogs I found security. We had three chow chows, those fluffy lion dogs with a blue tongue. Brando was the first, I loved that animal."
"We lived in a small apartment with three dogs, anything but ideal. One day we let them go, to people with a large estate. That was heartbreaking."
There is a beautiful lesson in that, about love and letting go. It would have been selfish to keep your dogs if you could give them a nicer life elsewhere, wouldn't it?
"Absolutely, but I obviously didn't process that departure properly. Brando still appears in my dreams, after all these years. Then he returns home unexpectedly, and am I mad with joy.
"I often dream about my parents too: that reunion is so intensely beautiful and warm. Oh, there you are, finally! Those dreams are true to life, and the awakening is rock-hard."
Is that one of the reasons why you like being here in Antwerp, because here you feel more connected to the people that you loved?
"This is my home, my zero, I can't imagine a place in the world where I would rather live. When my mom was alive, and especially when she got sick, in between filming I tried to be with her as much as possible here in Antwerp. In the meantime I have an apartment here, my first permanent place of my own, but I've hardly been there in recent years. Now I can finally enjoy my home, I find peace, tranquility and inspiration there. I have seen fantastic sunsets on my roof terrace in recent months. So much beauty, and you can just admire it there, every day, for free. As long as you take the time to enjoy it.
"Normally I would have started filming again in April, and left for a hectic ride of at least two years, with projects that would follow each other quickly. I was at my limits, sooner or later I was going to bang my head against the wall. I feel how beneficial it is to slow down for a moment. David Lynch said that: 'Just slow things down and it becomes more beautiful'.
"As an actor you have to work in a big machine, according to a tight schedule. I have now discovered the pleasure of creating things for myself very spontaneously in my own cadence."
Is that work something you ever want to go public with?
"I want to do something with my photography someday, but I'm in no hurry. I'm also writing a film script, I've had an idea for a trilogy for a long time. It's a very personal project, and it takes time for it to crystallize into something very pure and proper. Maybe those films will come within ten years, maybe never.
"The most important thing is to keep busy. You have to look for something, anything, on which you can focus your passion, love and attention. Of course I would like to return to set, and those projects will come back later. But if I can't change anything about a situation, why worry about it?
"From a very young age I learned that there are not many certainties in life, I adapt easily to unexpected circumstances. There is one thing I can't stand, and that is feeling powerless. I never want to be the victim of a situation, I will always think: what can I do myself? Which way can I go? I have often enough stood with my back against the wall, I will always find a way out and take matters into my own hands."
So Schoenaerts decided to use this period to put Zenith - his artist name as a street artist - to hard work. Since the lockdown he has already created nine impressive murals, including one in the courtyard of the Oudenaarde prison, and one at the beginning of this month in the Antwerp Begijnenstraat, on the bare walls that form their furthest horizon for the prisoners. A moving event, he says. Not only by the touching conversations with inmates, and the forty-minute applause with which the prisoners welcomed him. "The mural contains a poem by my father. While I am there painting those beautiful words of my dad on the wall, I suddenly remember that my mom used to give meditation lessons to the prisoners there in the Begijnenstraat. I had completely forgotten about that until I stood there. How beautiful that is. Suddenly I felt my parents very tangible, very close to me."
It's a bit funny: a long time ago you were arrested for graffiti, now they invite you to prison to make a mural.
"I used to tag a lot, but I really don't like the vandalism that sometimes comes with graffiti. Defacing a facade, that's just ridiculous. But trains, bridges, tunnels.... frankly I think that's the max. Soon I'm going to do another oldskool graffiti wall, with some friends, back to the roots. But with permission, yes."
Scary dudes
The problems of the Belgian detention system are well known: outdated infrastructure, overcrowding and a system of pre-trial detention which means that some people are innocently stuck for years. Schoenaerts: "These are human lives that are destroyed by the Belgian state, isn't that scandalous?"
Schoenaerts' engagement started years ago, after meeting Hans Claus, prison director in Oudenaarde, who contacted him when he wanted to organize a screening of Le Fidèle, the film by Michaël R. Roskam starring Schoenaerts. Claus has been fighting for many years for a reform of our detention system, among others with the non-profit organization De Huizen, small-scale centers that are more focused on rehabilitation and reintegration of the detainee. How does Schoenaerts see his role? "Those murals are a kind of lubricant for me, to get attention for this problem. I am not the expert and I am certainly not a politician. This injustice touches me as a human being, and my message is clear: please listen to the people who have been working hard for decades to reform the system from the inside."
In The Mustang, your last feature film to be seen here before the lockdown, you take on the role of a prisoner who learns to tame wild horses and his demons. Has that role changed your vision?
"That rehabilitation program with mustangs really exists, and the chance of recidivism is almost zero percent. I had a conversation in the Begijnenstraat with the minister of Justice Vincent Van Quickenborne (Open Vld, ed.), and he told me that the chance of relapse here is 40 to 50 percent. Isn't that madness?
"That's what fascinates me most of all: what do we do with those detainees while they're stuck? How can we help to break the destructive patterns that put them in prison? Imprisonment is a punishment in itself, but someday we'll send those people back into society, so let's mainly support them in their self-development.
"In preparation for The Mustang, I visited prisons in the U.S., and talked to men who had been detained for 20, 30 years. Heavy guys: Aryan Brotherhood (powerful crime syndicate of neo-Nazis in American prisons, ed.), Mexican gang leaders... real scary dudes. You know what those say to me? That they live in fear every day, but they must not show weakness. Psychological counseling and things like that have their value, but that's often very cerebral. I especially believe in the healing power of art. Imagine that inmates can express all those fucked up emotions through art: I think that there is an enormous potential in this."
I heard you're playing with the idea of giving acting lessons to inmates?
"That's not a concrete plan yet, but I would love it if people from the creative sector would commit themselves to this: musicians, sculptors, dancers. Or writers who help prisoners put their own story into words.
"The cultural sector needs to start sticking its neck out. The sector is lying flat, and that's terrible. But we have to keep moving. We can all do something for the community, without being paid for it. Planting small seeds, doing something good for your fellow man, something beautiful always comes out of it."
Had you been to a prison before The Mustang?
"To visit friends, yes. In Merksplas, Hoogstraten, Hasselt, Dendermonde... We shouldn't talk about that any further. A prison is deep tristesse. Who dares to call that 'a hotel', shame on you."
This summer you painted an impressive mural in Paris in honor of George Floyd, murdered by American officers. And in Ostend last week a new mural was unveiled, with a 'decapitated' Leopold II. Is activism an important part of your street art?
"Graffiti used to be more of a style exercise for me, you want to create things that get noticed within the scene. But gradually I felt like communicating with a wider audience. I like to incorporate a lot of symbolism in my paintings, such as the cracks I photograph all over the world and then magnify them in another place. And the praying hands, a universal image of hope and faith in yourself. Art has the power to speak to our deepest emotions, and that is what binds us to the other. Connectedness, empathy, harmony, solidarity, that's the essence for me."
The corona crisis is one big exercise in empathy and solidarity. Sometimes we seem to lack that.
"I refuse to surrender to cynicism, and I surround myself with positive people who do beautiful things for others. This period would lead us to insights: how do we deal with each other? Do we help each other, or is it every man for himself? A human is such a wonderful creature, but we mess it up so much for ourselves.
"Yeah, I know. Some people who read this will think: this guy is smoking too many joints. (laughs) I don't smoke joints, and I'm not an unworldly idealist. But I will always focus my attention on the good, in spite of everything."
If you always want to see the good in people, are you sometimes disappointed?
"Yes, of course. I'm not a naive brat, I've learned to guard my boundaries. I can't please everyone all the time, and I don't let anyone rush me. I react badly when people put pressure on me because they want things from me. The perception of me that others have of me, I can't control. I don't let myself put out of balance easily anymore."
I saw that on your Instagram Stories you warned about fake profiles on social media, of people pretending to be you. That made you visibly angry.
"Really, that makes me angry. Every day I receive screenshots from people who have been tricked by crooks who approach innocent victims with my name and my pictures. There are stories of fans who have paid thousands of euros because they were promised a meet-and-greet with me. How disgusting is that? One person has transferred 14,000 euros to someone who pretended to be my manager.
"Of course, that raises questions about how gullible some people can be. But I've seen those chat conversations for myself: those criminals are terribly sneaky. They know how to play on the vulnerabilities of their victims in a very cunning way. This is manipulation and swindle of the filthiest kind.
"Really, I get physically unwell when I think about it. How can someone be so mean? If I ever catch these guys, I'm gonna bash their skulls in, I'm not kidding. Sorry."
Or: those crooks get a jail sentence, where you're going to give them acting lessons.
(laughs) "Okay, let it be clear that I think everyone should be punished for their crimes. My commitment to the prison system is not a plea for impunity, and I certainly don't want to romanticize crime.
"But when someone abuses innocent people's trust in such a cunning way, the question is: how did you derail so morally? And above all: how can we initiate a transformation in that person? Surely you can't lock someone up and expect that person to suddenly make better choices years later? First such a person has to take responsibility for his own actions."
Do you have something criminal on your conscience?
"No." (Thinks for a second) "No. Thank God. I couldn't live with that.
"I've probably hurt people in my life, like everybody else. Sometimes we just hurt people because of who we are, or because we can't fulfill what others want from us. But I have never harmed anyone consciously or criminally, no."
As a teenager you sometimes came into contact with the juvenile court, for vandalism. Do you think you could have ended up on the other side of the bars?
"Probably, a life can take strange turns sometimes."
What made you sit here today, and not get on the 'wrong' path?
"Wait... that's a good question. There's the one terrible dramatic event that caused a total turnaround in my life: when my dad went into a coma after a psychosis, and I was told he only had 24 hours left to live.
"I was 21 then, thrown out of school for the umpteenth time. I was doing graffiti and wanted to find my way creatively. But I was messing around, going with friends who... Anyway, there was latent danger, it threatened to go a little bit the wrong way.
"And then I got that phone call: come and say goodbye. Bam. The relationship with my father had been sour for years, we hardly saw each other. Until I stood there at his deathbed in intensive care... I only felt love, a wave of emotions that I had pushed down very deeply. That realization was rock-hard: this was it. My father and I will never get the chance to figure shit out, I thought.
"Long story, the rest is known: after 72 hours my father woke up from a coma against all odds. Like a plant: he could not speak, reacted to nothing or nobody. According to the chief psychiatrist, we had to accept that his condition would never improve. That was without the fighting spirit of my mother and me.
"It's because of that unlikely event that I've changed my whole lifestyle. For eight months, my mother and I went to visit my father every day. We talked to him, but he seemed to look straight through us. For hours we sat with him at the psychiatry department of Stuivenberg, how desperate those first months were also. We continued to fight, taught him to talk, to eat, to walk. A miracle, the doctors called it. Bullshit of course. It was love, dedication and stubbornness. Especially thanks to my mother, the lioness who kept fighting for him. And see how much beauty came out of it. My life then received an entirely different impulse.
"I suddenly think of an anecdote I've never told before. After a while we were allowed to take my father to the cafeteria once in a while, or to the garden. But he was absolutely not allowed to leave the hospital. Fuck it. I hid a bag of clothes for him, secretly dressed him in the toilet and took my father to the city. By bus, because I didn't have a driver's license. I wanted to stimulate his senses, test if any memories would come back. He was fond of Our Lady's Cathedral, so that's where I wanted to take him."
Matthiaske, why am I crying?
He plays it out. The written version here is only a dead script compared to the lived-through performance, right there on that dark square, just around the corner of the Arenbergschouwburg, where Matthias made his stage debut as a 9-year-old boy next to father Julien, as The Little Prince.
Matthias shows how he supported his frail dad, and how they shuffled in small, careful steps towards the cathedral. Dad looking at the ground to be sure not to fall. "I say, 'Dad, look up'. He looks up, and I see the tears rolling down his cheeks. I had never seen my father cry. 'Matthiaske,' he says, 'can you tell me why I'm crying?'
"I had already decided then that I would take my father into my house. Overconfident, yes, at that age, but they have become the most beautiful years of my life. Mom came by every day to help. Suddenly we were a bit of a family again, something we had only been for a short time when I was young."
It was at that time that you decided to become an actor. Why did you decide to become an actor?
"I had always resisted following in my father's footsteps. In my youth I mainly wanted to break away from my father, and seek my own path. I didn't want to have anything to do with him and all those loudmouths around him in the theater world. But most of all I was terrified that compared to the great Julien Schoenaerts I would never be good enough.
"Only now do I understand why I then decided to go to the conservatory. Not to become an actor, but to understand my father. We had so many years together, and now that we had been given a second chance, I wanted to get to know him as well as possible. By acting, maybe I could get closer to him." (pauses)
Sentimental fuss
He banishes the tears. It's one of the many things he has in common with his father, he says: they're both very emotional, but they hate sentimental fuss. "Come on, Matthias: breathe," he commands himself.
"Voilà, see how much beauty can come out of misery. What a chain of beautiful things came out of the fight my mother and I put up in the most hopeless situation. Who knows how differently my life would have turned out?"
"There are so many lessons in that. If we just talked about the rehabilitation of detainees, for example. It takes commitment. Not a workshop of two hours. You have to persevere, even in the event of a setback, with no guarantee of a happy ending. That's why I think it's so important to keep telling that story about my dad. Those are the values I believe in: dedication, stamina, attention, love. You can apply that to everything in life. Love is the fuel."
You often talk about your parents as if you want to keep them alive with your words.
"Because my mom and dad are the people I've loved most. With them I shared the most important moments, built the most beautiful memories. That loss is enormous. Life has been really fucking tough since they've been gone.
"That's what grabs me so much in this period. How many people have died of corona in Belgium?"
According to Google, today, on the day of the interview, the counter stands at almost 14,000 deaths.
"Fourteen thousand! Imagine how many people that has an impact on? How many people have suddenly lost their mother, father, brother, sister, best friend or neighbor? Behind those figures lie tens of thousands of poignant stories, of people who see a loved one torn from their lives. That is a mountain of unresolved grief, and far too little attention is paid to it."
Earlier during our conversation a guy had walked past coughing and maskless. It pissed Schoenaerts off: "And whining about masks or strict measures. Grow some fucking balls. Having to say goodbye to a loved one, that's the worst thing."
"Isn't that what this period teaches us? That our time here is limited? And what really counts in life: sharing moments of beauty with the people you hold most dear. All the rest is wallpaper. Having success, making movies, that's all fun. But the day you lie on your deathbed, you really don't think about the professional successes on your resume. No way."

『 avan jogia. thirty. cis man. he/him. 』 oh heavens, is that JASPER BOWENS from MAIN STREET i see roaming around mapleview? minnie may’s always calling them -SELF-DESTRUCTIVE & -IRRESPONSIBLE. i happen to think they’re not that bad! they’re a pretty cool OWNER of STRINGS & THINGS MUSIC SHOP and every time i’ve seen them, they’ve always been +SPONTANEOUS & +CARING. i hope i see them around again!
drugs tw, addiction tw, miscarriage tw, death tw ! @mapleviewstarters
NAME : vincent jasper desai-bowens NICKNAME : jasp, vinnie (family and older mapleview residents only) SEXUALITY : pansexual RELATIONSHIP STATUS : in a relationship with paxton ZODIAC SIGN : aquarius PARENTS : james bowens and priya desai-bowens SIBLINGS : amir bowens (40), eva bowens-walker (40) RESIDENCY : a quaint and comfortable apartment near the music shop OCCUPATION : owner and manager of strings & things CHARACTER INSPO : ulysses zane (apocalypse now), klaus hargreeves (the umbrella academy), lito rodriguez (sense8), liam (high fidelity), frank n’ furter (the rocky horror picture show), laird mayhew (why him?).
CHILDHOOD
vincent jasper desai-bowens was born and raised in mapleview to an irish dad and an indian mother. james and priya bowens moved to mapleview in 1979, not long after they got married. james soon found himself a job at the factory and they decided to build their family in the small town.
the couple welcomed their twins not too long after, the golden boy and the wonderful girl were both named after priya’s late parents -- amir and eva. that’s when the bowens’ started to settle down and james made the bold decision to make money from his passion for music, quitting his job at the factory and buying the music store in town.
but then nearly ten years later, priya got pregnant with their third child. it was a risky pregnancy, since she was almost in her forties. they welcomed a strong and healthy baby -- who was named after james’ father and personal hero, a brave man that fought in the war. they were living the dream. that was, until vincent grew up.
being the youngest of three was hard. especially when your parents' had great expectations for you and your siblings’ were fucking geniuses and you were just, well, you. vincent was never the brightest kid or even interested in anything. he was the kid who’d bite others for no reason, yell at the teachers and break toys. he was the worst possible kid a parent could want but once his teenage years rolled in, the bowens’ knew he was never going to change.
TEENAGEHOOD
by the time vincent got to high school, he started to finally make friends for the first time. that’s when he met adrien and tba, who later on became his best and only friends. the teenage version of vincent wasn’t much different from the kid version, only this time the rebellious acts were in different ways -- vincent stopped attending church, would spend more time in detention than in class and would even pick fights for the hell of it. but what was the last straw for his father was when the rumors of vincent using drugs started to run around town. of course, it wasn’t like he was doing hard drugs or anything, but the bowens were a respectable family in mapleview.
to say james was furious was an understatement. and during their last fight, he told vincent he didn’t deserve the name he got and he was a lost cause. that’s when he dropped the name and started going by jasper. that was also the night he ran from home. only sixteen, with nowhere to go and no money to his name. he never talked to his dad again after that.
his sister eva, not wanting him to turn into a homeless person, took him in. but it still hasn’t enough. jasper started getting into a darker path and eventually into heavy drugs. around that time, jasper and his friends found a man that was almost dead. they saved his life but it always stuck with him. he watched as his friends were moved by the act, but he felt nothing. the only desire he had was to deepen himself in drugs. it didn’t take long for jasper to drop out of school and get kicked out of his sister’s house. he then became known as mapleview’s junkie and the bowens’ black sheep -- if he wasn’t already.
ADULTHOOD & NOW
because of his addiction, jasper pretty much pushed out every single friend he ever had from his life, refusing to drag them into his mess. when he turned twenty-one, he was in and out of rehab like it was a hobby. but during one stay, he met someone. and that someone gave him hope.
jasper was in love with her and he actually saw himself having a future for the first time. the boy even got a job so they could shack up together. after a year of being together, they found out she was pregnant. but the dream didn’t last long, she had a spontaneous miscarriage and that’s when things went downhill again.
feeling guilty about what happened to her and thinking that somehow it was his fault, jasper left her and fled to los angeles. he doesn’t talk much about what his life was like there.
about two years ago, jasper’s mom reached out to him with news that his father had passed. she told him about the plan his older siblings had of selling the music store since they had no interest in it, obviously too busy with their own lives to care, and asked that he’d come home to take over the business. he’s been the owner since.
his return to mapleview was a shock to everyone who hadn’t seen or heard from him in years, most of which just assumed he had died or something. and to be honest, if it wasn’t for his mom, he’d never step foot in town again. the amount of trauma that jasper went through would be enough to break anyone, but he’s managing. well, not really. but he’s trying.
RANDOM FACTS
