sometimes i hate how much ppl hate aaron and sometimes i also dislike people a bit for switching up on him so fast after TKM short story

let me say, he was funny from day one and ppl did not get that, and he was very so real too (atleast w me talking)

see, (NO ANDREW HATE BTW TALKING FROM AARON'S PERSPECTIVE) you have this deal with your long lost twin that happened to kill your mother and get you sober but also take you away from any type of social life with a deal that you two will stick together until graduation.

then a little bit too normal and bit too uneasy and weird runaway kid teleports to your life, lies and lies and makes his way into your brothers heart, stealing it while your brother keeps you away from your girlfriend. all while eye fucking the- now ginger weirdo 24/7

after all, it happens to be that the weird ginger kid has connections (and not good at all) connections to the fucking mafia. and also has a prisoner butcher of a father who tried to kill him and a hitman uncle who saved him.

then your brother starts to DATE (so not dating- says andrew) the ginger lying kid and you still can't even see your girlfriend while all you want is that and graduate.

this wasn't supposed to turn out to be a short version of aftg from Aaron's perspective but the point is, i would hate Neil a bit too.

Aaron said it himself "One of these days Aaron would love to know what about that mouthy liar had people bending over backwards for him,"

He didn't and doesn't trust Neil but would i either? Probably not.

And tbh, it isn't like Neil likes Aaron either.

synopsis: you're retractive, suffering with anxiety. not like being anxious, like you are suffering, angry, snappy. you seem to be off recently. your aggression worsened today, finally snapping as you're in your room screaming and smashing belongings. toby finally finds you and helps you.

as if the week could not get any worse. the pain and regret building up in your stomach with every hour that passed by, every minute, every second. your life of current shut outs and mood swings. staying away and distancing so it wouldn't hurt others when you didn't show up for them. you were isolated, completely different than normal. what even is normal? did anyone truly know?

the week started off slow, a night of no rest, getting up and doing your same routine, working day in day out, secluding yourself in your room, friends constantly asking you to come out with them. but all they got was a 'I'm busy'. you truly were busy, finally laying in bed, away from everything. the thought of even leaving the house made your stomach bubble with this sick feeling.

the next day, you had been at work, and suddenly were asked to speak to your boss. you swallowed that thick rock in your throat and thought of every scenario that could go by. your palms sweat and shook as you walked to the man's office. you knocked quietly and entered.

he had sat you down and talked about your lack of effort recently, and you tried to explain to him your recent life, hut you only recieved the; "separate work life from home life" and "everyone is tired" speech. now that's just great. you've made an embarrassment out of yourself and will probably never be good enough for another job. your thoughts spiraled.

and then the next day, stepping out of your car, a group of teenage girls walked past, laughing at what you could only assume was either you or your outfit. the entire day, you felt tears stinging your waterline. looking in the mirror every hour and telling yourself, "you know the outfit was ugly. wociety would be ashamed to know a person like you. you felt like everyone's eyes were on you. when in reality, those girls were laughing about a funny post online they saw. you went home and cried about how you looked all night.

the next few days were of the norm, sitting at your job for hours, coming home, sleeping, job, home, sleep. the only person you even cared to try and see was toby. he had been your boyfriend for quite some time now, understanding what you go through, as he suffers from multiple disorders too. but last night, you two had gotten in an argument about simply nothing. a petty bicker that only left you sitting at your table, thinking back to your old days of forgetting.

you used alcohol to forget about the anxiety that filled your head and body to the brim, thinking it'd wash everything away. you fell to addiction, and you'd finally climbed back out. atleast you weren't there anymore. atleast you're able to manage normally now. normal? what is normal?

that brings you to present, current, the now. staring at the unopened glass bottle of beer, glaring at it like it can understand how I feel. the pent up anger that clouded your mind made hot tears fall down your cheeks and hands tug at your hair. your voice was hoarse from yelling at nothing, only the walls able to withstand everything you had to say. everyone else leaves, no one wants you, no one stays. you have nobody. nobody wants you. no one stays. no one ever stays.

you stood up and picked up the bottle of beer, screaming as you chucked it against the tile of your kitchen. the bottle shattering and foaming beer spilling everywhere. the screams and cries tore at your throat, hands coming in contact with the plate left out and chucking it at the wall, leaving a dent before shattering. you tangled your hands into your hair, covering your ears to stop the ringing.

you screamed, the pounding in your head growing more and more prominent. as you walked to your room, slamming the door so hard behind you, you swore the frame cracked, you picked up the nearest thing. it was a picture frame of you and toby, a cute photo of you two on the Faris wheel. you cried at it, knowing he'd probably leave you too. you held it so hard it shattered, the glass piercing into your fingers and drawing blood.

you just cried, yelling and ripping apart your room. little did you know, toby was coming back to apologize, and when he found the front door unlocked, he knew something was wrong. he walked into your home, noticing the shattered plate and bottle. he then heard your screams and cries, random bashing and clanging to the ground. his heart pounded in fear of what you were doing to yourself.

he slipped running so fast, trying his best to get to you as soon as possible. he busted through your door and spotted you sitting on the ground, crying. your room was shredded, clothes stripped everywhere, atinques and collected figure thrown and broken, pictures ripped or cracked, and dents in the walls. the most important thing, of course, was you.

you looked up and met his eyes, your teary ones only sobbing out more when you saw him. he hurried over, gently holding his arms out for you. as he sat down and helped you into his lap, you squirmed around, trying to shove him off.

"toby go away! stop it! Just go!" you screamed at him, your fists slowly stopping their attempts to hit on his body, slowly turning to grip his shirt and sob.

he cradled you and held your head in his chest. he rubbed his tumb over your cheek and squeezed you, knowing the pressure eased the anxiety.

"hey, shh, hun you're okay. I've got you" he whispered, pressing a kiss to the top of your head and rocking you gently. he let you sob, hit, and thrash at him all you want, "hun, cmon you can hit me, I can take it." he tried to laugh a bit but just gave a sympathetic smile when you sobbed harder.

I repositioned his grip, holding you under your knees and back and lifted you. he maneuvered his way to your bed, gently climbing in and letting you rest on him. he pulled your blanket over the two of you, his arms returning to hold you steady to his chest. his shirt was stained with tears, the blood from your fingers, and probably your snot, but he didn't care, he loved you, and was there for you. he wasn't leaving. he'd never leave you, he loves you.

"hey, love, open your eyes please" he hummed, placing his hands on your cheeks and making you look him square in the face, "I ain't goin anywhere, I'm right here, always will be. don't worry about a thing, you've always got me." he measured you, pressing a kiss to each tear stained cheek, then your forhead and nose.

he let you settle back down against him, your breathing calming a bit and tears stopping. your arm wrapped loosely around his torso, head resting against his chest. you grounded yourself by listening to his heart beat. steady and sound. knowing toby was alive, and that he was here. he didn't judge you for any of this, always understood, always let you sob and hit, always helped. maybe he was lasting forever.

"thank you" you mumbled quietly before fluttering your wet lashes closed and falling asleep, the episode tiring you out.

"always, hun, I've got you" I kissed your head again, holding you a bit closer and watching you fall asleep.

toby stayed awake for a little longer, rubbing small circles on your back and cheeks. he loved the way your eyes twitched when you were sleeping, or the way your lips parted softly, or when you sprawled out and snored like a chainsaw. he loves you. he loves you. he loves you. and he simply was staying. you couldn't get rid of him even if you tried.

and yes, he'd wake up, make you food and coffee, and help you clean everything up. he'd do it all for you, never make you lift even your pinky. giving you reassuring whispers and kisses through the day, checking up and smiling at you. he did everything in his power to make sure you knew he loved you. it's the bare minimum of what you deserve.

back on my bullshit and i promise i only talk about The Situation a little bit

☆ his third arm is more sensitive than the other two (i'm thinking that either the USHD doctors fucked something up during the operation OR it grew in wrong, nerve endings closer to the epidermis and whatnot, something like that)

☆ just hates being touched in general, he’d rather initiate that contact (need an update where he gently —> not very gently shakes expendables off (depending on whether and how much they’ve annoyed/flashbanged him) when they climb him) ☆☆ part of this is due to trauma, he cant trust anyone to touch him without hurting him ☆☆ the other part is that he’s got that fucking dawg in him (i’ll get to this in a second)

☆ unlike what his new voice lines are starting to suggest about his character (i’m not gonna talk about zerum again because i think everyone knows what's happening at this point and ive already thrown in my two cents) he does NOT hate the expendables. literally his first line upon meeting him in his shop has him calling himself your friend (as strained of a connection as it may be, he could very easily not offer items, not share documentation/info, and just take the expendables data and hoard anything he picks up to make it harder for them to get to the crystal) (like yes, it's a mutually beneficial relationship but if sebastian didn't care about or sympathize with the expendables to some extent, it wouldn't be). i really do think he just has a short fuse (i'm not going to bring up trauma again, however-) and says things he doesn't mean (e.g. “they deserved it. and frankly so do the rest of you.” (im coping with the mischaracterization of these new lines leave me alone)) as a means of protecting himself and pushing the expendables further away (both physically and emotionally)

☆ he’ll act like a brat once they’re done, but he lets younger expendables sleep in his shop (he cares about them but would never in a million years let them know that) ☆☆ if a younger one comes in with a bunch of adult expendables, he’ll treat them all the same but will secretly slip the younger one some extra batteries, gauze, something unnoticeable (he feels especially responsible for the younger male expendables cause they remind him of his little brother)

☆ sometimes he thinks he can hear his family's voices on the radio, just under all the static, calling out for him like a search party would. he used to cry over this but he almost got caught once by an expendable coming into the shop so he does his best to tune it out. it’s hard. guilt pulls at his stomach every time he hears a clip of his family, begging for him to come home, to respond, something, anything, and he ignores it.

☆ autism (cause i said so) - i'm including this one for the sole reason that he does the dinosaur thing with his third arm and generally keeps his hands clasped together in the secret dinosaur position (he just like me fr) ☆☆ hates bright lights (the only light he uses/allows in his shop is the one he emits) (its a very soft/warm hue as opposed to the bright fluorescents throughout the rest of the facility) (not to bring up the flash beacon, obviously nobody likes getting flashbanged and he's got angler eyes but sTILL)

☆ he used to hate eating fish (pre-op) and now he’s pissed cause it’s all he has available and the DNA changes made it so fish is the yummiest tastiest thing in the world (i like imagining him actively fighting the urge to eat whatever fish he’s cooked in one bite cause he refuses to acknowledge that he's changed on a level that isn't physical/appearance-based)

☆ calls grown adults “kiddo” (even the ones that are older than him) ☆☆ he gets a certain kind of joy from seeing the 40/50/60 year old expendables try to figure out just how old he is after they get called “kiddo”. it’s extra fun for him when they’ve clearly already heard the rumors and/or gotten a glimpse of his file

nah brO BECAUSE LITERALLY I HAVE THOUGHT BOUT THAT. Literally since the conception of Clone Danny, I have thought about it. If only for, as you said, the COMEDY of it all. Plus I love writing romance.

Literally my motto for my aus is: A) is it plausible, B) is it FUNNY (and a secret third option C) is it ANGSTY)

Clone Talia would be an offshoot au of Clone^2 because idk how she'd fit into the original timeline, bUT, she'd exist. And to avoid confusion I'll call her Nasra - I thought about Tameka (which means twin) but I like Nasra better. "Talia and Nasra" just flows so nicely doesn't it?

Idk WHY there's a clone of Talia running around -- maybe the LoA made her, maybe n unknown organization who hates Batman and knows he has romantic ties to Talia, and started making a clone of her to fuck with him and then she got nabbed by a portal when she was still Danny's age and in the middle of training. She might be like Connor (??) and have memories and thus her training is more proficient than baby Dames.

Either way, regardless of how she was made, I think it's hilarious if she, much like baby Dames, immediately attacks Danny on sight. She falls into his city and Danny only has a moment to go "goddammit not agaIN" before he's fending off a very confused, very violent Nasra. Fortunately he's able to actually try and talk to her and be at least somewhat successful -- Nasra knows english. although even if she didn't, Danny would still be somewhat successful since he knows Arabic.

Also Bruce and Danny are the battinson bat because i think that is also hilarious and 'wet rat' is STILL the perfect energy for Danny as Phantom - especially in the early days when he's running around in all but jeans and a hoodie. (and god watch me go on a rant in a separate post about his outfit and reasonings for being Phantom when he has no powers later on because it makes me go FERAL. and his active choice to look as inhuman and ghost-like through his behavior as phantom and the decision to wear such a creepy mask as possible)

(like seriously, imagine walking home late at night while danny was still in his early vigilante days (and even now when he's got damian and a better suit) and seeing a skinny figure in the shadows with sunken in black-and-glowing-green eyes, and a bone white, skull-like face, crouched on all fours like a wild animal about to pounce. THAT is the level of creepiness I was going for for clone danny)

In my head, Sam offers to house Nasra and Nasra stays with her. SAm is able to convince her parents to let her stay, or she pulls a Danny and just straight up smuggles her in and her parents are none the wiser. I also think it's funny if they have unspoken BEEF with each other. Only to later become like sisters. Nasra teaches Sam the martial arts she knows, and also Danny joins in too with Damian because goddamn he needs it even IF he's learning stuff from his mom (as per the most recent snippet post I made).

OH AND DAMIAN AND NASRA. I think it's equally as funny if they ALSO have beef with each other. Nasra is a clone of his mother (of whom he might have complicated views on due to being a clone but still is his mother) and Damian is a clone of Nasra's "son". This beef largely starts from Damian's own refusal to want to share his Danny with another clone, especially with a clone of his MOTHER.

Danny and Nasra don't become lovers for a good, long while I think. They're besties first before they even consider the idea of dating -- not only just because of the whole "uhhh our counterparts dated so it'd feel kinda weird and forced if we dated" and also because Nasra, with her newfound freedom, is busy trying to figure out herself.

A big theme here in clone^2: discovering your identity and who you are as a person when the only thing you own that's unique is your name (which isn't even the case for Damian), and figuring out if your choices are your own or because you're a clone and its something your original would have done. Nature vs Nurture and the illusion of choice and whether it really is one or not.

Also Nasra also becomes a vigilante. Danny appreciates the help but is also tearing out his hair because what the fuck is up with these assassins and becoming vigilantes?! Nasra goes by "Nesha". And then a duo becomes a trio, and Danny is spending more time with her. And they steadily become friends. Very snarky friends who are very bratty to each other, but friends. Damian still doesn't like her so Danny spends extra time during patrol keeping the two of them from making insults at each other.

Nasra also uses like, weaponry as Nesha which exasperates Danny a little because why are you using swords??? And MMM i'm sorry lmao im so focused on Nasra becoming her own person than the actual romance aspect of it all. Nasra cuts her hair short for the same/similar reasons that Danny keeps his long - to try and gain a semblance of autonomy and identity that's away from their original. Danny has his alternative rock-kinda geeky look and Nasra's got, from influence from Sam, a more alternative fashion style. Although she still leans into being feminine, which is a good challenge to Sam's belief that feminity = bad, and gets her to unlearn those bad habits since her new adoptive sister is feminine while still being an unapologetic badass.

And ykw I think Nasra gets into rollerblading and loves it. She rollerblades constantly. Damian is furious because skating is his thing (even if what he gets later on is a skateboard - skater boy damian ftw. i can see him wearing flannels and graphic tees as a teenager. very grungy/skater aesthetic. He also has a much more relaxed and teen-y speech pattern compared to DW's more formal way of talking. He also spray paints as his form of artistic medium.) and he refuses to have Nasra be a copy of him.

They will sort out their differences eventually. LMao.

Anyways they eventually do get together, but not before Danny finally has his run in with Mister Wayne. Which, they only meet because Danny starts destabilizing, and thus needs Bruce Wayne's DNA to help stabilize himself. Which that meeting in and of itself is pretty chaotic on its own, but then add clone Damian and Nasra? Bruce needs coffee.. or alcohol.

Because picture this: its late at night, you're on patrol with the rest of your family. It's like, two in the morning. You suddenly get a call in from your butler, Alfred, informing you that not one, not two, but THREE children -- two of them in their late teens and the other one not even ten yet -- showed up on your doorstep. One of them is unconscious. They are all clones.

The girl and the boy are twins - and are clones of YOU - and the girl isn't even technically YOUR clone she's a clone of your clone - and also this clone of you is your college friends' kid. And then the youngest boy is a clone of your youngest SON. Bruce is running across rooftops when he gets this call and does a literal 180 degree turn and touches the ground because he basically did a figure skating turn, and sprints back towards the manor because what the fuck? He needs to check this out.

And then half a day later a clone of your fucking ex shows up on your doorstep demanding to see the clone of you - the boy that is, not the girl - and then immediately gets into a verbal lashing with the clone of your son. Like what a fucking DAY. Your kids are equally as baffled but also laughing their asses off -- except your bio son, who is very unhappy about this turn of events and keeps getting the stink eye from his clone.

Like??? I'd quit right then and there.

While Danny recovers he's staying in Wayne manor and Damian is very reportedly not leaving his side. Ellie has to leave to help take care of Amity Park with RH, and then Nasra is also very determinedly not leaving his side either. This is her friend dammit. The first thing she does when he becomes lucid is insult him, and he insults her back - they're bantering. It's how they flirt later on. None of the Bats know how to deal with this situation.

im not even kidding you guys, the best thing for Crowley after all this is just for him to be a girl Dad. Go find himself the weirdest most unhinged least likely up for adoption daughter to dump all his love onto. One who thinks snakes are awesome and who screeches happily when Crowley drives too fast and who thinks her Dad's the absolute coolest person on or off earth. She'll constantly be stealing his sunglasses or demanding her own pair so they match. No doubt she's obsessed with fungus and she probably draws the most fucked up stuff that Crowley then hangs around the flat, and she'll yell at the plants too with her hands on her hips. On nights after goofy dinners, Crowley will hoist her up on his shoulders and help her accurately place the glow-in-the-dark stars on her ceiling and softly answer every question she ever has. And it won't even phase her when sometimes her Dad is her Mom or her Parent for a while or vice versa. And she'll be ready to full on throw hands with anyone who gives her Dad sad-face. She probably ends up biting Aziraphale when he eventually staggers back into the picture, and the Angel will have to contend with the fury of a real hellion for a while before she trusts him enough to let him anywhere near Crowley. Also i think her name should be Hanna.
