because this is ena shinonome, who is so used to being belittled by anyone around her, hell her own dad didnt accept the fact she wanted to do art. almost everyone around her didnt, not her own father or even teachers. she wants to be her own self proclaimed artist, have her own title and be known for HER work. like how mizuki wants to be seen as HER identity/who she truly feels she is without judgement.

so why would she EVER reject mizuki? im so glad sega went down the path they did, bcuz of COURSE ena wouldnt reject mizuki for wanting to be her true self. not after being rejected and proving so hard to others what she wanted to be and how she wanted to be seen.

i love the idea of kanade being like "i have this song, but none of our voices are quite right. i really think we need a boy to sing, too bad i dont know anyone" and mizukis like "well WE know a boy who sings dont we ena?" and despite all enas bitching moaning and pleading kanades puppy eyes plead harder. so she very reluctantly asks akito for a favour. hes of course a bitch about it, but she talks him into listening to kanades demo and he ends up agreeing. forces akito and mafuyu fake ass bitches to interact for an extended period of time. i can totally see kanade being intimidated by his attitude, but then they recognise how passionate both of them are about music and he becomes quite sweet on her, like he is with kohane. both akito and ena are rly pissy about working together, but are secretly really precious about this chance to just.... work together on something they both love, without their dad ruining everything.
