hot take/mini-ramble: i don’t think the mizuki-secret arc should be resolved fully by ena5

the conflict has been building up since like… mizuki’s first focus??? so i think it’d be a waste for it to get quickly resolved, especially right after the ‘climax’ of its story. minoringo (ena’s va) said it was gonna be an important story, so i hope it’s another event that brings more depth into the resolution (kinda like mafu5’s story for mafuyu). i also don’t think it would be really realistic for mizuki to go back to her happy self in one event. so much love was put into mizu5 and mizuki’s story as a whole, i feel like it’d be a shame for ena5 to not have the same amount of emotion.

i fully get wanting mizuki to be happy tho, me too, i just hope that ena5 has the same emotion and realism that mizu5 had, bcuz of how close to home that topic is to many!

my god am i so grateful that they didnt make ena be transphobic or be like “oh well i dont accept you blah blah blah” bcuz it would be SO out of character.

because this is ena shinonome, who is so used to being belittled by anyone around her, hell her own dad didnt accept the fact she wanted to do art. almost everyone around her didnt, not her own father or even teachers. she wants to be her own self proclaimed artist, have her own title and be known for HER work. like how mizuki wants to be seen as HER identity/who she truly feels she is without judgement.

so why would she EVER reject mizuki? im so glad sega went down the path they did, bcuz of COURSE ena wouldnt reject mizuki for wanting to be her true self. not after being rejected and proving so hard to others what she wanted to be and how she wanted to be seen.
