weird question but is the other version of Gato inspired by anything? It kind of reminds me of Japanese oni masks but I think that’s just the teeth/tusk like things
Oh yes definitely, Onis are my favorite yokais because of their teeth and overall anatomy n story.
He does have an Oni form which I draw when I'm venting lmao, so that's why the big tusks.
Oh yeah, Narinder's teeth are also inspired by them, as well as Shamura's.
All characters I design that have that kind of teeth are because I love the Oni teeth.
