thats even assuming time travel is going to be a thing for either the mc or anyone else, as i said in a previous post
i just...i dunno gen 6 has a lot of interesting lore that ties into gen 7 as well so im just
pulling out the red string and the boards
i was writing my tags for this post as i tend to write both the main post and tags at the same time for posts AND RIGHT THE TIMELINE SPLIT THAT EXISTS IN GEN 6 AND 7!!!!
legends ZA doesnt need time travel sure bc the time and space duo is in sinnoh and done with BUT IT DOES HAVE THE TIMELINE LORE
maybe the next pokemon npc to be blasted through time or a wormhole is going to be aarune or emma or someone else everyone forgot about
#id say its probably one of my favorite sections of pokemon lore#i am on my hands and knees for it to get the justice it deserves#its just so WILD! the war the machine the timeline split the HOLD UP I GOTTA add to the main post#anyway#the mega evos and their relation to the ultra beasts#sorry yall i love to repeat myself but im just#waving my arms around with bass boosted cartoon sfx#pleaes be good or at least decent please gf pla was good make this good#BUT ALSO who knows how much of the actual lore will be touched up#assuming its the same with a main hub area we got lumiose at the very least#id love to see other towns as well who knows!#like theyre not gonna copy paste the exact thing from pla (i hope)

MY TOP 25 BEST POKEMON
by popular demand, in descending order.
25. Galvantula
she is so fluffy. they somehow made an electric spider one of the most cuddly pokemon designs of all time. WOULD get a plushie of her if i am being fully honest.
24. Scyther
he's just some guy who is also a cool looking bug who also has swords coming out of his fucking arms. a rare example of a gen 1 pokemon design that is 'extremely based' and not 'extremely boring'.
23. Roserade
Roselia in gen 3 was such a meh pokemon, so giving it this unexpectedly cool Tuxedo Mask evolution in gen 4 was awesome. I will be fully honest that my favorite version of Roserade is the shiny because it gets black and purple roses. cool as fuck
22. Scream Tail
'what if we made Jigglypuff so so so so so so scary and it wants to maim and eat you now'. say no more
21. Calyrex (Shadow Rider i guess)
as someone who skipped pokemon sword/shield entirely, this design is actually some of the coolest shit i've seen. weird looking deer knight riding on the back of a ghost horse? actually stupidly cool they were really cooking with this one.
20. Grovyle
Every PMD fan on the fucking planet knows why I put this rando middle evo Grass starter on my favorite pokemon list. And they also know that i am objectively correct for doing so. no further explanation is needed
19. Decidueye
listen this is a fucking Ghost Owl Archer, what a fucking idea, it's cool as shit and we love Decidueye in this household. the best grass starter in the game and it isn't even close. despite me putting one immediately before it on this list. no notes.
18. Gastrodon
i love you gastrodon i love you sea slugs i love you having 2 different non-shiny designs/color schemes, i love you weird squishy suctiony cry/sound effects. gastrodon is maybe my best friend possibly ever
17. Ampharos
listen even if lighthouses were not a special interest of mine i would still love the weird electric lighthouse sheep. look at this guy. truly one of THE pokemon designs ever.
16. Chandelure
love this fucking thing it looks like a kingdom hearts boss. also ghost/fire is objectively one of the coolest type combos ever (foreshadowing is a literary device in which--)
15. Hisuian Zoroark
this is a prime example of how the regional variants in modern pokemon can completely improve on the original. the original zoroark is a pretty generic edgy dog. this is a new and much more interesting take in general, it makes its once gimmicky Illusion ability much more sinister and tied to its backstory/lore. also such a great color scheme, i love the weird almost fungal looking growths on it?
14. Furret
furret my friend furret. he is a tube and also my friend.
13. Noivern
this is a vampire bat dragon, potentially the coolest thing to ever exist ever. you agree. also i like the color scheme, purple/green/red aren't usually things i would put together but it works very well here
12. Iron Valiant
there is a tumblr post that calls this thing "so nonbinary it kills you" (or something like that) and holy shit are they right. what a cool mix of gardevoir and gallade's designs. plus making it a robot knight. cool as fuck, definitely the best paradox pokemon. and again, it isn't even close lmao
11. Mawile
i remember being a little disturbed and/or weirded out by this thing when i played gen 3. over the years it has grown on me so much. what a weird fucking design. i too want a giant mouth horn growing out of my head. bonus points to mawile for also getting a sick mega evolution that i am pretty sure broke the metagame for a while. lol, lmao even.
10. Clodsire
holy fucking shit it's clodsire. fuck yes. FUCK YES FUCK YES FUCK YES what an incredible re-imagining of quagsire i love it so much
9. Froslass
imagine you're Glalie, the world's most generic and boring ice type of all time, evolved from Snorunt and already forgotten the moment you're introduced in gen 3. then gen 4 comes along and gives female Snorunts one of the coolest pokemon of all time as an evolution. truly THE most insane evolutionary glow up in the history of the franchise. anyway i love this thing, i love that she murders hikers and displays their corpses for people that's so cool i love you froslass congratulations on your transition
8. Hawlucha
LUCHADOR BIRD LUCHADOR BIRD LUCHADOR BIRD LUCHADOR BIRD LUCHADOR BIRD LUCHADOR BIRD LUCHADOR BIRD LUCHADOR BIRD LUCHADOR BIRD LUCHADOR BIRD LUCHADOR BIRD LUCHADOR BIRD LUCHADOR BIRD LUCHADOR BIRD LUCHADOR BIRD LUCHADOR BIRD LUCHADOR BIRD LUCHADOR BIRD LUCHADOR BIRD LUCHADOR BIRD LUCHADOR BIRD LUCHADOR BIRD LUCHADOR BIRD LUCHADOR BIRD LUCHADOR BIRD LUCHADOR BIRD LUCHADOR BIRD LUCHADOR BIRD
7. Espeon
definitely my favorite eeveelution, i love its simple design, the gem really ties it together. this is really one of those pokemon that feels like it'll be on your team for life. i will not elaborate on this
6. Bewear
i fucking LOVE this thing it makes me so fucking uncomfortable to look at. it has the best lore of any pokemon ever: it hugs people to death. god what a cool pokemon if it shattered my spine i would probably just say 'ok'
5. Floette
THIS IS MY WHITE WHALE, DUDE. I WILL NEVER BE OVER THE SUPER POWERED X/Y MAIN STORY VERSION OF THIS THING BEING CODED INTO THE GAME AS AN EVENT POKEMON AND THEN GAMEFREAK NEVER RELEASED IT. despite my bitterness i love floette whenever i see it. one of the quiet joys of scarlet/violet was seeing this tiny thing chilling out in the wild. to me its face is like The representation of happiness. i have no idea why i love it so much but i'm just happy whenever i see it
4. Suicune
when i was little i was obsessed with this thing. i remember playing pokemon silver and being captivated by it. then i was THRILLED that of all pokemon they could pick they made it the mascot for crystal. when i went on road trips as a kid i would imagine this thing running alongside the car and had all sorts of mental AMVs with it. now that i am an adult and have had time to reflect on suicune, however, i have come to realize something: suicune is actually the coolest fucking thing ever and i was so fucking right all along about this
3. Hisuian Typhlosion
i loved typhlosion as a kid, and most of my attachment to the original one is probably nostalgia related. however, like hisuian zoroark, this is one of those designs that just genuinely improves on the original in every way. i have NO idea why they chose to glam up typhlosion so much in legends arceus but i am so glad they did. adding Ghost typing is such a strange concept on paper but they executed it SO well. i love its dopey little look. what a gem of a design to find so recently in pokemon's lifespan.
2. Alolan Raichu
the original Raichu has always lived in Pikachu's shadow-- it has a cool enough design, but no one is ever going to pay attention to it when it's prevo is literally the world famous series mascot. so i am THRILLED with what a great design Alolan Raichu has. it's so fucking cute, it looks unique while still being obviously tied to the original. i love that it looks like a pancake. i love adding Psychic type to it -- like with Hisuian Typhlosion, an odd idea in concept that works perfectly. i love that it surfs on its adorable, giant tail. GOD i love alolan raichu it is such a good pokemon
Flygon
i love flygon, it's a sand dragonfly that evolves from the world's most adorable antlion. this is an instant pick for my team in every game it's in. i love its dragonfly eyes doubling as sand goggles. flygon is so cool you can make the argument for Dragon/Ground/Bug triple typing, but Gamefreak are fucking cowards and will never do that. it is because they are afraid of what flygon would do with this power. YAY FLYGON
#(i put together a 25 worst list but this took me forever to do so i will probably do that one at a later date)#my posts

Giving the Phantom Thieves Digimon Partners
I like Digimon and very much enjoyed Persona 5 so why not combine them by giving the Phantom Thieves of Hearts Digimon partners. For non-Digimon fans, a human character will have a digimon partner that can evolve through different levels and the forms it takes on often have symbolic resemblance to the human's character development. I'll be giving each Phantom Thief a partner with its forms from the Rookie/Child to Mega/Ultimate levels. No Strikers or other spinoff characters because I haven't played those games. There will be P5 spoilers.
We have to start with the protagonist and his main theme is being the rebel against the unjust authority. His role in the plot is being the rebellious fallen angel to the controlling Gnostic god Yaldabaoth and so I'll be giving him fallen angel Digimon as partners. His partner will start as DemiDevimon/Picodevimon, then evolve to Devimon. These are the most iconic fallen angel Digimon in the franchise so they're easy picks. Devimon will then evolve to Baalmon. Baalmon is a demonic Digimon that seeks out knowledge and will put people through trials to show them the truth. This fits with the protagonist putting people through the ordeals of having their heart stolen to show them the truth of the monsters they've become. Finally his partner will evolve to Bagramon. Bagramon really is a great fit to Satanael as it's a fallen archangel Digimon that rebelled against the unreasonable justice of the Digimon god. If Bagramon is played as a hero, this fits really well with the Gnostic myths P5 draws from where Satanael (or the serpent or Sophia depending on which version you read) rebels against the unreasonable and authoritarian false god that is the Demiurge/Yaldabaoth to bring wisdom to humanity.
Next is Ryuji, who has the themes of electricity, delinquents, athletics, and his Persona is a pirate. I think a great partner for him is Pulsemon, an electric Digimon that is the mascot of the vital bracelet (RIP), a device intended to encourage fans to exercise. Ryuji used to be on the track team so a perfect fit is one of Pulsemon's default evos, Runnermon. For the next level, Runnermon will evolve to CaptainHookmon, a pirate like Ryuji's Persona and a good through line to the final form: Gankoomon. Gankoomon's design is based on a Japanese delinquent like Ryuji and it has a very tough and unapproachable demeanor, but is a hero through and through. For non-Digimon fans confused about a tiger turning into a pirate and then a delinquent, be assured that that isn't anywhere near the weirdest evolution in Digimon.
Morgana is one of the ones I struggled with because his themes of cats, wind, and Zorro don't lend themselves to many Digimon options, but I found a great option from Digimon Frontier. In the Frontier continuity, there are human and beast spirits of elements that can combine to a fused spirit and one of the elemental spirits really fits Morgana. The first stage will be Liollmon because it's a cat. Liollmon will then evolve to the human spirit of darkness, Loweemon. The human spirit represents Morgana's belief that he's human and desire to attain a human body. Loweemon will evolve to the beast spirit of darkness JagerLoweemon/KaiserLeomon. This form represents the cat body that Morgana is trapped in. Finally will be the merged spirit Raihimon, the fusing of human and beast, which represents Morgana accepting who he really is. Raihimon also has wings so the wind element can come in at the end.
Ann's themes are cats, fire, beauty, and seduction via her Persona. I will have her start off with Candlemon. It's the least thematically appropriate of her line but it's a good fire Digimon that leads well into the next form: Lynxmon, a cat made of fire. Lynxmon will then evolve to Bastemon, a seductive, feminine cat that seduces prey before attacking them, fitting well with Carmen's depiction. Finally, Ann's partner will evolve to BeelStarmon, which combines Ann's femininity, beauty, blonde hair, and enthusiastic use of firearms. It even wears a similar catsuit, though black and much more revealing.
Yusuke's themes are foxes, art, and ice and his Persona and costume are the most Japanese of the Thieves. I struggled with him because there aren't really any art themed Digimon and the few ice Digimon don't fit him. I decided to go all in on the foxes and Japanese themes with Yusuke to give him Renamon as a partner. Renamon will then have its dark (but not evil) evolution line of Youkomon to Doumon to Kuzuhamon. I picked the dark line over the normally good line of Kyubimon to Taomon to Sakuyamon because that line uses a lot of fire attacks which wouldn't work well with Yusuke's use of ice. The Renamon line is very much based on fox legends from Japan and China plus Onmyodo and Shinto elements. Also Doumon uses a brush for an attack. It's a calligraphy brush instead of a paintbrush, but I'll take what I can get.
Makoto's themes are rebellion, martial arts, motorcycles/machines, intelligence, and radiation. I gave her a machine line starting with Hagurumon. Makoto's story arc started with her just doing what was expected of her even if it was wrong or not what she wanted and Hagurumon is almost literally a cog in the machine. Hagurumon will evolve to Machmon because it's a motorcycle and so is her Persona. Machmon will evolve to Fumamon, a cyborg ninja Digimon. Makoto's skill in strategy and martial arts would suit a ninja well, plus they have similar color schemes. Finally her partner will become Justimon, a cyborg warrior for justice symbolizing Makoto rejecting doing what is expected of her in favor of following her desires and doing what's right. Plus they both have scarves.
Futaba's themes are isolation, shyness, technology, UFOs, and information gathering. A perfect partner for her is Espimon, a cyborg Digimon with stealth powers designed for espionage and data retrieval. Espimon will then follow it's standard evolution line to the UFO themed HoverEspimon and Oblivimon. However I'm not going to use Espimon's standard Mega/Ultimate level of Invisimon because it being a combat-focused humanoid warrior doesn't fit Futaba. Instead Oblivimon will evolve to the superintelligent alien cyborg Ebemon.
Haru's character is an interesting contrast between her sweet, kind, and polite public image and her Thief form showing off her toughness and enjoyment of violence. I decided to combine this contrast with her love of gardening. Her partner will be the pretty flower Floramon who evolves to the boxing cactus Togemon. Togemon will then become pretty and feminine again as Lilymon before finishing up with BanchoLilymon, a pretty and feminine but violent and rebellious delinquent with a heart of gold.
For Goro I decided to focus on the contrast between his polite boy detective act and the violent and unhinged person he is behind the mask. I gave him Lopmon as a partner. Lopmon is notable for having a good and evil evolution line and Goro could use both, switching between them as needed. The good line goes Lopmon -> Tururiemon -> Antylamon/Andiramon Data -> Cherubimon Virtue while the evil line goes Lopmon -> Wendigomon -> Antylamon/Andiramon Virus -> Cherubimon Vice. The two forms of Cherubimon being an angel and fallen angel represents Goro's use of light and dark skills and how he had all the tools to be a real hero but became a monster instead.
Finally is Sumire, which took the longest for me to figure out, but I like what I came up with. I focused on her taking on the mask of her sister and the struggle between that hand her true identity. Her partner will start off as Sistermon Blanc, a cute and feminine Digimon who is close to her sisters Sistermon Noir and Sistermon Ceil like Sumire was close with Kasumi. The next stage will be Lianpumon, a Digimon themed after Chinese opera who always wears a mask and never lets anyone see its true face like how Sumire took over her sister's role and abandoned her true self. The next stage will be Luminamon, a Digimon themed around duality. Luminamon is the angelic and benevolent alternate self to the wicked and violent Shademon which mirrors the duality between who Sumire is and who she wants to be. Also Luminamon nicely fuses the holy and cute elements of Sistermon Blanc with the bestial elements of Lianpumon. Finally the last stage will be Cendrillmon. Both Cendrillmon and Sumire's Persona come from Cendrillon, an adaptation of the tale Cinderella. Cendrillmon also has crystal legs like Sumire's Persona and wears a leotard and coat like Sumire's Thief outfit. I honestly think Cendrillmon's design homages Sumire.

Have you reviewed the Natu line yet? I feel they’re forgotten about these day
I honestly really like this line. There's just something really appealing about a bunch of barely-moving psychic birds that stand around witnessing The Horrors(TM) 24/7.
Natu doesn't strictly speaking need to exist, but it's different looking enough from its evo—possessing tail feathers, a distinct wing pattern, and a completely different body shape—that it still stands on its own visually if not conceptually.
In addition to the vaguely indigenous patterns, it also has a very nice color palette, using green, red, and yellow. It looks colorful enough due to the different hues, but the limited amount keeps it pretty coherent. The completely flat eye also helps convey the "staring in the future" idea nicely.
Xatu is a really solid continuation of Natu's main traits, keeping the same palette and distinctive eye and markings, but expanding the design to include a much more well-defined body shape and increasing the complexity of the patterns.
Another neat thing is that it expands upon the vague artistic notions of Natu by gaining a totem pole theme, what with it not moving and having a "second head" with its chest markings (it's even named after the xat, a pole specifically used as a memorial to the dead).
I do sort of wish this line had been a bit more specific about which cultures and totem poles they were aiming for, as they all different significance and mashing them all together feels a bit wishy-washy. Still, it's not the point of being inconsiderate by any means, just vague.
Honestly, I have no problems with these two beyond that, but I do think they could use an evo (or something mega-esq). Totem poles are not only beautiful, but can be extremely complex, often sporting multiple figures in one pole depending on culture and meaning. One of the world's tallest story poles was carved by the Kwakiutl tribal chief Mungo Martin and looks remarkably like the line, to get an idea of what I'm thinking:
Add more markings, give it an entire (true) second head or beak, make it taller... really, the concept is right there. The line's not particularly strong either, so it could use the boost.
Anyway, overall, this is a very strong line with striking visuals and a strong, straightforward concept. Aside from some inspirational vagueness, it's dang near perfect in my book.

My Current Guesses on Legends: Z-A Starters
So with Pokemon Legends: Z-A being announced, since we now know from PLA that Pokemon will gain a special final evolution based on their new environment. I wanted to toss my hat into the ring of predictions for which 3 previous starters we're gonna get.
First off let me say which ones I'm sure we're not gonna get and why.
Gen 6 Starters
As with PLA, Gen 6's Starters will not be part of the starters in PLZA. More than likely, they will be caught in the wild just like the Gen 4 Starters were in PLA.
Gen 1 Starters
I think it's very safe to say the Gen 1 Starters are not going to be picked. But, let me explain my proper reasoning.
With the reintroduction of Mega Evolution, and the likely fact PLZA will have our Protag & Crew be the ones to discover Mega Evolution, it's very likely the Starters we get will gain Mega Forms. This said, It's very unlikely GameFreak will use Pokemon with existing Mega Forms, even if said mons get a regional form. Because of this, I can safely say Squirtle, Charmander, and Bulbasaur are not going to be on the roster, and same goes for...
Gen 3 Starters
Same thing here, with the fact these guys already have Mega Forms, I find it highly unlikely GF is going to give them both a new regional evo + a new Mega.
PLA Starters
This one's kind of a given. Pokemon isn't going to reuse any of the starters from PLA cause that would just be odd to keep giving starters other regional forms (That said I am sad at the loss of Mega Typhlosion :[ )
Gen 9 Starters
The simple answer to this is just, the Paldea trio are just, too new. While I don't think that entirely rules them out. I do think it makes them less likely to be chosen for the next mainline game.
Now with the obvious removals talked about, let's go down the line of who's left and talk about why or why not they're likely to be chosen.
Chikorita
I didn't originally have anything to say about Chikorita, since I felt their odds were snuffed out by the other grass types here, however upon doing some more research, specifically on Meganium, I learned the daylily (the flower theorized to be what Meganium's flower is based on) was actually brought to Europe around the late 1750's-early 1800's. And with France's Urbanization having occured around the mid 1800's (Which is the time period people are guessing PLZA will take place in) There actually is a good chance for Chikorita to be chosen as their plant actually fits with the location and time period! However I cannot think of what type changes would make sense for this, so I do have to dock some points for that.
Overall chances - 6/10
Totodile
Totodile sadly doesn't seem like a great fit for PLZA. It is essentially just what it is, a Crocodile. And, a quick google search will show you, that besides the barren ice land of Antarctica, Europe is the only continent to not natively have any form of Crocodile or Alligator. GameFreak would have to get very creative here with something of French history or folklore to make Feraligator work for this.
Overall Chances - 1/10
Turtwig
Now Turtwig is an interesting one. Not only is there the fact the extinct turtle species Torterra is based was discovered in North-West Europe (Though mostly Germany & Switzerland) but Torterra as a Pokemon has a lot of potential when it comes to regional forms, thanks in part to the tree on it's back. France's national tree is the Yew, specifically the European or Common Yew, it's an evergreen tree that sprouts red berries (these berries are also very poisonous, meaning we could get a change of typing here to Grass Poison). I could see a Kalosian Torterra having an Ancient Yew tree on their back sporting a great harvest of berries. But, potential put aside, I don't see Turtwig being here simply cause there's another Gen 4 starter that fits the bill of this game much, much more than them.
Overall Chances - 4/10
Chimchar
Chimchar is one I just can't vouch for out of the few fire types we have here. Their Sun Wukong relevance is way to impactful on who the mon is, and Sun Wukong, while being from a story of "Journey to the West" only went to India, and never actually went to the actual west of the world. I also once again have to toss them to the side because of the face there is one more Gen 4 Starter that only makes sense to be in this game, and it's not them.
Overall Chances - 1/10
Piplup
THIS, THIS RIGHT HERE IS A GUARANTEED PICK.
Piplup is absolutely going to be the Water Starter of PLZA, you cannot change my mind about this, and for those of you not in the know, I have one name that will explain why.
NAPOLEON BONAPARTE
Empoleon, as obvious as their name is, is in fact based on the Ex-emperor of France, General Napoleon Bonaparte. And, if we go back to the prediction of PLZA taking place in the mid 1800's... Guess what historical events seemed to also take place in the mid 1800's. Oh you know, just THE NAPOLEONIC WARS!
Piplup is my only and 100% has to be there guess, it would be a crime if they were not the chosen starter for this game. I legit would actually be angry if GameFreak missed this opportunity. As for potential typings... Water-Dark "could" make sense since Dark Type is just Evil type in Japan, and Napoleon is an evil dude in history. But I think Water-Fighting is much more likely, with Empleon probably going to take on much less of an Emperor Penguin look, and more of General Bonaparte, give him the Hat GameFreak, it would look funny.
Overall Chances - 10/10
Snivy
Snivy is also pretty much a guaranteed pick, and this is just from the simple fact of Serperior. Who is (supposedly) based on King Louis XVI of France & other European aristocrats, and that the fleur-de-lis, aka the French insignia used by many Noble families is visible in their design... Honestly, along with Piplup I would be flat out shocked if Snivy was not the grass starter for PLZA, like I would be baffled at how much of a lost chance that would be. As for potential regional typing, I could see it being Grass Ghost to represent the death of the French Monarchy... But that's it for my brain lmao
Overall Chances - 10/10
Tepig
Tepig is an odd one. On one hand, Snivy being basically guaranteed makes me obviously think another Gen 5 pick isn't going to make it into this group, but on the other hand...
Nah, I got nothing. Tepig is based way too much Chinese Culture and the tale of Zhang Fei to really fit into French culture. Just like Chimchar's inspiration from Journey to The West, it would feel wrong to change Tepig for the exact same reasons.
Overall Chances - 1/10
Litten
This one was more of a wildcard pick here for me, simply cause none of the fire types left had any real connections to France like Water and Grass had, I just found the idea of a regional form for Incineroar to be interesting. Though I had no idea how they would change a professional wrestler into something more fitting for early 1800's France... THAT IS UNTIL I DID SOME RESEARCH BABY!
So French Wrestling is actually really interesting, while it started in the 1830's, their style of wrestling, titled Graeco-Roman, was invented by a soldier FROM THE NAPOLEONIC WARS! Not only that, but it's even named "Classic Wrestling" meaning there actually is a good chance for Incineroar to be based on this style of wrestling for their Regional form! What better thing for the Wrestler Starter to use what is to many people the first style of wrestling that was used in the First ever Olympics! As for typing, Fire Normal could make some sense... I just really don't want it to be Fire Fighting, I think a lot of people would be disappointed if it somehow got the infamous Fire Starter typing.
Overall Chances - 9/10
Popplio
What can I even say about Popplio? I mean I guess maybe the fact Sirens originate from Europen folklore? But even then it's mostly Greek origins for that. There's nothing really tying Popplio in to fit the bill here, they're outclassed by a certain penguin of french origins.
Overall Chances - 2/10
Grookey
I think the Galar Starters are going to be the hardest to even justify, really the only thing any of them have going for them is the fact they come from Galar, which is based on Great Britain, a country that was France's rival in the war to own the world.
However none of that has anything to do with Grookey, the drummer monkey really doesn't have anything to offer! Rillaboom could maybe play a different instrument, but I don't think going from a pair of drum sticks to a bugle is probably gonna work out well. Perhaps though I'm just not putting my mind into it well enough.
Overall Chances - 3/10
Scorbunny
Again, I've got nothing. Realistically I guess you could make a pun here and have Cinderace being a French foot soldier. Though French hares are a common animal, and rabbits in of themselves are abundant all across Europe. I'm just personally wondering what exactly they could do with the fella that makes them properly unique enough to earn that spot, and right now I just don't see it.
Overall Chances - 4/10
Sobble
Last but not least, We have Sobble. Now surprisingly, I could actually see them being used, Intellion is based on James Bond and 007, and being a spy, well French spies obviously existed, there's also the fact a spy can also be an assassin if need be. Water Poison Intellion that shoot poisoned bolts of water from fingertips, yeah that could work.
Issue here though you have to put Sobble up against the other water types here, and well... Piplup.
Overall Chances - 3/10
And that's it! So TL:DR for anyone not reading here are the rankings most likely to least likely by types
Grass :
1 Snivy
2 Chikorita
3 Turtwig
4 Grookey
Water
1 Piplup
2 Sobble
3 Popplio
4 Totodile
& Fire
1 Litten
2 Scorbunny
3 Tepig & Chimchar
Meaning the most likely Starters for PLZA are going to be
Snivy, Litten, and Piplup.

Legends Z-A Thoughts and Theories!
Okay, I was pretty quiet on my opinions for Scarlet and Violet, but I'm confident enough to be very pleased and optimistic for this! Legends Arceus was the strongest Pokemon game we had in a decade, and to see them continue this, bring back Megas, and take an extra year to hopefully make it non-buggy? Makes me so so excited!
On Megas:
It's a bit of a surprise to see Megas back, but honestly? Not too much of a surprise. Even ignoring the inevitability of Kalos remakes, Megas are the only gimmick Pokemon kept around in their spinoffs. It was in Mystery Dungeon, Shuffle, Smash Bros, Pokemon Go, and probably more I'm forgetting! So it was always in the back of Gamefreak's mind and I'm glad it's truly back again!
With Gens 8 and 9 bringing back cross-gen evos, I think they'll focus on only giving Megas to three-stage lines, to not quash the potential of 2nd stage Pokemon getting regular evolutions. So starters and Pokemon like Flygon can get Megas since they can't evolve further, but Pokemon like Tropius and Chimecho probably won't, in case they get evolutions in Gen 10 (That then get Megas)
I also don't think we fully grasp how many more Pokemon can get Megas now, too. Barely any of Gen 5 and 6 had Megas (Seriously only 2 Pokemon between the 228 Pokemon in those gens) and we've had THREE more generations since then!!
Note: We went from wanting a Dunsparce evo, to wanting a Dunsparce Mega, to getting Dudunsparce with mixed fan reception. Now I'm going to be a selfish deluded clown bitch and get my hopes up for a Mega Dudunsparce.
Speaking of starters and Megas, do we think we'll get a mish-mash of older starters for this game that then get Megas (Say, Piplup, Snivy, and Scorbunny) or will we get Megas for the three Kalos starters?
Megas may mean Mega Stones return as held items, and held items weren't in Legends Arceus- new gameplay advancement?
Legends Arceus gave us 7 new Pokemon (most of them cross-gen evos) and a dozen new regional forms. Do you think we'll still get regionals this game, or will the design team be focused more on making new Megas instead?
On the world:
It's been confirmed the whole game is only in Lumiose City- how big is the map?? Hopefully we really do get lots of sidequests, biomes for wild Pokemon, and traversal options.
When is this? We're redeveloping Lumiose City, but are we in the past developing it into its current state, or are we in the present/future developing it into a new solarpunk city? Or neither, and this is a "Paradox" game set in a timeline which doesn't quite match ours?
This doesn't have to be an isekai (as in, we don't have to be time travellers again per se), just keep that in mind!
The "Z" in the logo represents Zygarde, with the black color and green hexagons. So who's the "A"? It's green with green scale/leaf patterns on it. What does it represent? The "Chaos" to Zygarde's "Order"? Is it a 5th Zygarde form or is it a whole new Pokemon?
Meta thoughts:
This further confirms my theory that Gen 9 will last until 2026, where they announce Gen 10 on that year's Pokemon Day for their 30th anniversary, and that's great! I'm glad they aren't overworking themselves too much compared to Gens 6-8.
On them "skipping" Unova remakes: I don't see this as skipping. We've been long overdue for a Z version since Kalos is literally the only Pokemon region to only appear in one release (no third version, no remakes, no sequels, no ultras, no DLC). So we're simply making up for the "deficit" of a third version here, and we can go back to focusing on Unova remakes for Gen 10.
Do you think we'll get any final updates to SV to tide us over until the next LegendZ trailer around August? Maybe a small DLC, mythical reveal, or free update?
Pokemon Adventures skipped the last Legends game, so they'll probably skip this one too? I'm fine either way- at least by skipping it, they won't be too rushed and stressed, and they'll actually have the time to flesh out SV and catch up with ORAS/SM/USUM/SwSh in the full volumes.
But on the off chance they do adapt Legends Z-A, do you think we'll get dexholders named Z and A??
Note for the future- the Yoasobi Pokemon song BiriBiri has a part where they namedrop all the game titles- one part has the lyrics "ABC to the XYZ". Long shot, but if Legends Z-A does indeed have an ABC theming, this could be a crazy bit of either coincidental or intentional foreshadowing!

We got a new Pokémon legends game!!! Are you excited for it?
We did!!! I saw it this morning! Honestly want to see more though because while I am excited, I’m getting excited off my expectations and speculations lol.
What will the starters be? Will they have new final evos like in PLA? Will they get new mega forms? Will we get new regional variants/evolutions/megas for pokemon? Which characters will get ancestors (or descendants, I’m seeing speculated time periods all over the place lol)?
Also way out there but I would love to see if the prototype synchro machine feature from SV is somehow utilized in this game too!! Seeing as it was a prototype and people say they often test out features in small versions for later games, I’ve been wondering if we’ll get a ‘better’ version of a prototype in the next mainline game, and that is PLZ-A right now.
Just very excited to see how this game will turn out and just how much it will borrow from PLA gameplay-wise as the second installment in the legends series. PLA is my babygirl and will be forever but I’m still interested in seeing how this one turns out!
I’m excited for however it turns out. BUT ONE THING THOUGH AS A SUBMAS FAN cause I’ve seen everyone mentioning their thoughts on this — I do not want to see Emmet in the game!! If he somehow does end up being in the game I’d be ok with it but I doubt he will, and I’d rather he not, honestly ^^;

Well beaten Pokemon Tectonic and holy shit that was the most fun I had in a Pokemon game in years, even more fun then Clover, Radical Red, Insurgence and even Unbound. Now here are my pros and cons of the game:
Pros:
-You have a key item that generates leftover EXP candy from battles
-No HM's :D
-A much needed overhaul to the type chart, such as Bug now being supereffective against Fairy and Ice having more resistances then itself
-Frostbite replaces Frozen and unlike romhacks that has the former statues, you actually have a statues move just to put it on your target
-It has custom regionals and they're fun to use and have interesting designs
-Some retypings like Charizard being part Dragon and Dunsparce being part Ground
-New weather :D
-No more broken gameplay gimmicks, now all the megas are ether regular evos or part of an ability a Pokemon has
-Uses the Gen 4 and 5 soundtrack :D
-Various mons in general have been buffed with new moves and abilities, the Blaziken line now has an ability that makes it immune to Flying moves
-Natures, IV's and EV'S are removed and replaced with a customizable (in the Pokecenter) stat mechanic called Stylish Points, which as you can guess, is basically you deciding the stats of the Pokemon with limited points
-Breeding is gone completely :D
-Move relearner in Pokcenter for free :D
-Eggmoves are replaced with mentoring, which is basically a Pokemon learning another Pokemon's move as long as they can learn it
-Ability capsules and rare candies (now just called candies) are at the Pokemart at the very beginning
-And the best of all; Various luck based bullshit like Confusion and accuracy and evasion boosting hax has been removed. Confusion has even been replaced with a full time statues element called Dizzy, which suppresses the target's ability and lowers their defenses
Cons:
-The only way to make sure a random trainer is out of the route and not forcibly refightable anymore is to perfect them, as in, not having a Pokemon of yours faint in the battle, this really can get annoying
-The music for facing this game's grunts is just the regular trainer battle music for this game, which is very unfitting
-Hazards are still broken as shit, seriously, why is no one fixing this broken ass mechanic?
So yeah, this fangame is underrated and I wish more people knew about it.

Being back to Making an actually good Clash Royale update every day until Supercell fixes their stupid game
I HAVE RETURNED FROM MY SLUMBER
So I already did a post explaining why I was gone and I'm not doing another sooooooooooooooooo
We're back babyyyyyy
And to celebrate I'm finally dipping my toes into evolutions
Day 31: Evolutions
Hey it's been one month
So I kinda avoided evos for a long time cuz I just hated their very idea. It just didn't fit in Clash in my opinion. But by now with literal midlatter hellfire commencing because of the mega knight Evo, I've accepted that this exists, so, I'm fixing them now!!
Evos are incredibly stupid and should not exist in Clash Royale. But while I don't think any change can make them good, I sure can try to make them better.
Change 1: level locking
So this is something I'm usually very against in Clash because of the grindy nature of this game, but for the purposes of today, I'm assuming my other updates already are in place.
So I think we should lock evos behind lvl 15. I already discussed making lvl 15 so much easier to get so I don't think that's a problem and other than that I just feel like having midlatter evos is so stupid. At the absolute very least lock it at lvl 11 goddammit
Change 2: Shards
Make shards buyable. And I don't mean with money. I honestly don't even give a shit if it's gems, gold, season tokens (well we already have that one but more shards for more tokens) we just need a better way of getting evos because at this point these is so stupid and crazy and a lot of times OP and we need a f2p way to get OP ones just so we aren't at a disadvantage bigger than the Goblin Queen's fat as-
So yeah that's evolutions. I don't want to do evos cuz again I hate that they're in Clash but it's a part of the game I can't ignore forever.
Okay but seriously what is the design for the Goblin Queen-

Since you asked me. Who do you think will be in the Pokemon Legends Z-A starter line-up?
That's something that has been living in my mind rent free for the past few days.
It took me a while to have my guesses, but after so many videos and many things I researched, I have my own set of ideas.
(there are possible spoilers here below)
First things first, I want to say that, although it is possible that the final starters have new regional forms, it is equally, if not more, probably that the starters will instead have mega evolutions. Mega evolution is the most beloved mechanic and many people wanted more starters (besides Hoeen and Kanto) to get megas.
And since it has been rumored that Jynx will get a mega due to audio files found in pokemon home, probably more pokemon will be getting new megas.
The megas instead of regional forms makes so that the starters for Legends-Z are none else than... the regular Kalos starters.
Considering this is probably set after Legends Arceus, it is very possible that Lumiose reasearchers already have the means of capturing their own region starters.
Besides, Delphox and Chesnaught deserve some more attention. And, it was always a bit ironic the region of megas didn't have starters with one.
But, in case we have starters from other regions, my assumptions are.
Grass Starter: Snivy. I am 99% sure that, if we have starters from other regions, Snivy will be the grass one. Snivy was inspired by European Empires (like Emboar was inspired by Chinese and Samurott by japan), the fleur-de-lis and it is a pure grass type in it's final form. It can both get a regional form or mega with a secondary Dragon type.
Water type: Piplup. Besides being one of the most beloved water starters, Empoleon was inspired by Napoleon. Gamefreak would be fumbling bad. Since Empoleon already has two types, and is already very French, I think it would work best with a mega.
Fire Types
Torchic: Simple, the rooster is the symbol animal of France. Besides, since the starters will probably have megas instead of regional forms, having one of the starters with a known mega would probably be good advertisement for the game. (Mega Blaziken fans would be interested in buying the game and checking new evos).
Litten: Litten is a starter that has basically nothing to him. No mega, no gigantamax and so on... (just a Z-move, but, people don't care much about it). Since he basically has no fun gimmick. Game Freak could give him a new fun mega! They probably would keep his type, though...
Scorbunny: It turns out that soccer is really important to France. Besides, since he is pure fire, a secondary type could also help him out. I can imagine a Fire/Fairy mega or regional form with a magician theme (France has magicians, and magicians use rabbits for their tricks).
Last, but not least, wanted to state that this pokemon game is probably inspired by a renovation Paris went through beween 1852 and 1870. So, there might be something related to that period.
But, deep down, none of us can be sure of what starter we are going to have. All we can do is... wait and see...

hmmm pokémon rating: preddy ladies edition :3
(lopunny, primarina, sneasler, meowscarada)
not my favorite │ average │ cute │ ✨adorable✨ │ best │ ultimate fave
bnnuy <3 I always wished she had more fluff tbh.. which is a little ironic since I like her mega a tad more than her regular form.. i think her stockings and funny butterfly brows are cute hehe (>w<)
not my favorite │ average │ cute │ adorable │ ✨best✨ │ ultimate fave
While my starter choice in Moon was rowlet, primarina and her pre-evos always felt like a best friend.. like an air of nostalgia to it! Maybe part of it was watching the little mermaid a lot a a lil kid, but also brionne ears always reminded me of the braids and beads hairstyles the kids i went to school with had :3 Not to mention all shes done for trans girlies <3
i lov her lots and lots despite never using her in a team (yet!)
not my favorite │ average │ ✨cute✨ │ adorable │ best │ ultimate fave
That one video carries her so hard you know the one (>w<) color scheme is very pretty and lov her big claws but i dont think i've totally processed her yet tbh.. sneasel having a different form and an evolution that is very tall and has a name That Close To Onceler Of All Things blindsided me. so hard (PLA was also like the one game i avoided spoilers for so like!! extra hard!!)
That all said i love hisuian sneasel very muchies especially her shiny and her mustard hands <3 I have an alpha shiny of her in PLA shes my bestfriend (she might even ultimate fav with recency bias)
not my favorite │ average │ ✨cute✨ │ adorable │ best │ ultimate fave
while absolutely kittygender i actually havent interacted much with meowscarada.. since my starter was quaxley and nimona chooses the weaker starter (fuecoco) i just.. havent seen too much of it (/w\;;) I should figure out some kind of playthrough to do with her maybe.. depends on what the next games are and if i can bring her i guess.. or starting a different scarlet file waugh orz

Winds of Change
Chapter 3: When it Rains, it Pours
The gentle babbling of running water is dissonant in Ryo's ears as everyone slowly starts to regroup, making their way toward the middle of the central path, where—his breath hitches, sharp and cold against the inside of his throat—Shuuji is staring at the ground, head bowed and shoulders taut.
What happened in the waterway left its mark on everybody, and Ryo's doing his best to watch over his friends in the aftermath. Unfortunately, he doesn't have eyes in the back of his head, and neither does Shuuji.
ao3 link in the source, extended post-chapter commentary below! (:
i had a whole bunch of stupid temporary names for each section of every chapter during earlier stages of writing to help keep track of what order the segments were in. like i said on ao3, the working title for this chapter (the middle segment, specifically) was "The Gang Misplaces The Baby". Other notable ones were "be gay do crime hold egg" (ch1 pt1), "Get Punched Idiot" (ch1 pt2), and "EGG" (ch3 pt3).
ive been sitting on all my silly kunemon dialogue for WEEKS. im still not sure how i feel about it - on one hand, i kind of like it when you can only figure out what kunemon's saying through context, usually via ryo. but also i think it's really fun to explore what kunemon's voice sounds like in dialogue - if you translated all of kunemon's kews, would he speak the same way as jewelbeemon or banchoustingmon? it's hard to say, given that theres basically no time in-narrative save for the evolution event where banchoustingmon is center stage. that's part of why i think it's a shame that ultimate and mega stage evolutions are affinity-dependant rather than story-depedant. that said, i've heard that the development cycle for this game was BRUTAL, so i dont fault the devs for it. besides, it's kinda fun to try to figure out how to change ultimate and mega evo scenes so that they fit into a specific area of the story. i won't get into it now, but i have MANY thoughts on the subject.
i also have many thoughts about ryo. i know ive talked about this before, but he was the one to surprise me the most in truthful. i truly was caught off-guard at how much of ryo is hidden behind the walls he puts up at the very beginning. it's so delightful to me that this rough, foul-mouthed, prickly guy is arguably the most emotionally intelligent of the group. i bet he has no idea that his ability to read people is so impressive, and likely views his eye for detail is nothing out of the ordinary. i think these skills are both things that he started to hone at a young age, and now they're just second nature. although. i do think these skills completely go out the window when he's in distress.
also on the topic of ryo - i will die on the hill that he and saki have some kind of shared history. i dont think they go to the same school; there's a few references to saki probably being at the same one as takuma and minoru, and then at the amusement park in truthful, theres a bit of dialogue between minoru and ryo that suggests that the two of them go to different schools. so instead, i've mostly committed to the notion that they're …hmm… childhood "friends" is a strong word. probably closer to childhood "acquaintances". childhood "other kid i kept seeing over and over at the same place, and since theres no one else my age around here i dont have any other options". childhood "best available friend".
anyway, I think they were familiar with one another through their parents. it makes sense to me that one of saki's parents worked with ryo's mother or had some other kind of connection to her that faded after she died. or maybe ryo and saki ended up running into each other constantly while ryo's mother was in the hospital. in either scenario, a much younger saki and ryo would have been together frequently enough that they got to know each other pretty well as kids, then grew distant after their families' paths stopped crossing, not seeing each other again until the start of the camping trip. i think thats a decent reason for why ryo's not quite as temperamental with saki as he is with the others rightrightright at the beginning, and it would explain why he doesn't seem to mind her following him around and saying stuff like "idk what you'd do if i take my eyes off you" without him getting all that annoyed (relatively).
but yeah, this chapter was a LOT of fun for me to write. i really liked the idea of getting the immediate aftermath of the fight with wendimon from ryo's perspective. it was gonna be from shuuji's at first, but i think he would have been too caught up in shock and grief to be paying much attention to any of the others. ryo, on the other hand, is extremely observant and perceptive even though he's also pretty upset.
i had a great time writing shuuji listening in on kunemon and ryo's conversation. obviously i loved the duality of shuuji having no idea what kunemon is talking about while we the reader know that ryo gets whiplash between trying to cheer up a gloomy kunemon, exchanging stuff they've noticed about their friends, then being personally attacked about his feelings concerning a specific person (whose identity i hope was at least somewhat discernible without kunemon goggles). shuuji can understand the words ryo is saying just fine, but the information he learns catches him off-guard, and it occurs to him just how much distance there is between him and most of the group. this gave me a fun opportunity to think about what it's like to be shuuji at this specific part of the story - he's just had this horrible brush with death, and even though he's doing much better than he was before, he's at a point where he hasn't grown close with most of the others yet. we don't see much of shuuji having to build or rebuild his relationships with his peers immediately following the waterway - iirc the bulk of what we get is after those 10 days takuma was gone, and by then, the way he interacts with the others is much, much different.
i also really enjoyed getting a bit silly about the game mechanics in the last segment. finding random shit like plates of ribs and weird bananas isn't really addressed much beyond acknowledging that it was found. i think theres been SOME commentary about how the thing is weird, but to my knowledge, WHERE those weird things were found isn't acknowledged. nobody ever sits back like "hey so why the fuck did i find a pineapple inside of the piano" and i thought i could play with that a little!!
all right, thats gonna do it for this week. as you may have noticed, my ability to accurately gauge when i can post chapters is… hmm… questionable at best. i currently plan on posting chapter 4 on monday, but theres a small local con this weekend so i can't say for certain. my usual weekend chores will likely be pushed to monday unless im able to get them done tomorrow (highly unlikely), so we'll just have to wait and see!
thank you for reading, and as i said on ao3, im really really grateful for the comments ive gotten, even the ones in tags on tumblr. im always happy for more, and im so curious to know what stood out to people the most.

Thoughts on the Finneon line, including the beta Lumineon design vs. the one we got?
Finneon is kind of a butterflyfish, in the sense that its fins are literally shaped like butterfly wings, but it's also kind of a tetra and kind of a betta fish all at the same time. I do like it from a graphic design standpoint—there's something pleasing about the solid black top with a pink stripe that runs down the length of the torso, complimented by spots on its tail fin, and then blue underneath.
However, it's not really much to look at from a conceptual standpoint. It's a pretty fish, but there's nothing really going on with it beyond that. This wouldn't be inherently a problem if it worked really well as a stepping stone for the evo to flesh out a theme from, but as we'll see in a moment there's not a ton going on there either.
Lumineon takes the small wing-like fins on Finneon's tail and fleshes them out so they're much bigger and more complex, which I like. Honestly, if more emphasis were placed on the wings, they could've been the theme in and of themselves—imagine it being water/bug, water/flying, or water/fairy.
Instead, Lumineon goes in a different direction by being a bioluminescent deep-sea fish that walks on the bottom of the ocean. That's a great premise, and I think it really could've worked well as a theme.
However, the issue is that nothing in the design conveys luminescence at all. It retains the blues and pinks from Finneon, which are still nice, but not nearly bright enough to get across a glowing effect. You do see this effect on occasion, like on its SV 'dex plate, but it really needed to be a permanent effect to get the point across.
Also, when I think bioluminescent fish with a strong emphasis on color and light, I'm thinking like, mostly black body with just a few select highlights of a very bright, almost neon color, to really make everything pop. Lumineon has a bit too much blue on it, with the proportions of the two colors being almost an even 50/50 split. Maybe if the body was black and there was a singular blue band going where the eye is or something. Like, there's nothing all that wrong with the design we got—it's just not terribly memorable in the long run.
We can see from the beta design that Lumineon was originally closer to what I suggested, mostly dark with a few pops of color. I do like the effect this has, especially with the nice scalloped shape to the wings that I think gets a bit lost with Lumineon's rough edges. The extra bit of pink in there are also a nice touch. And while I'm not big on the red, it is nice that the markings around the eye play off of Finneon's.
However, this design has an incredibly awkward body shape, with small wings and a shapeless tail. Plus it still feels like something is missing color-wise, like it needed a ring on its tail or something for one final pop of color. I feel like if we could get the final Lumineon's design but with the beta's colors, we'd have the ideal Pokemon.
Also, as a side note, this line could be a good pick for an evolution or mega form in the future. It's only two stages, and it definitely feels like there's room for expansion still.
Anyway, overall, these guys are decent but they don't manage to deliver on their themes as well as they could have, resulting in a couple of pretty but fairly underwhelming fish.

favorite and least favorite megas, go.
also why do some pokemon have 2 mega evolutions?
i am a bit biased here on my favorite mega evolutions. but they're houndoom, garchomp, and charizard x. houndoom because of my dear Clover, garchomp due to Nourrice, and charizard x due to Obsidian. being around my dad's mon has swayed my love for these evos heavily.
as for least favorite, i would say both mewtwo evos and glalie. why tamper with a pokemon that already has trust issues with humanity and give it a process that, if done wrong, can have serious health effects later on down the line?? as for glalie. i just don't like how that thing looks. both in the normal and evo state. i am not a fan.
and as for divergent evos, this one is actually really neat! it depends on the actual base stones for mega evolution! first off, very basic recap of base stones here. but all mega stones come from a base stone that occurs naturally. it's a white/translucent stone that is easy to miss, but reacts to a keystone and the energy of a pokemon that has mega capabilities. the stone, once exposed to the energy of both items (or naturally, just the mon energy), the stone will "evolve" itself and become that pokemon specific stone!
anyway, divergent mega evos! this phenomena occurs entirely based on the base stone. when experiencing mega evolution for the first time, the properties that make up the stone resonate with the energies on different frequencies. a good example is charizardinite x and y. say we have one charizard hooked up to two base stones to create the evo stones. one was found near geosenge, the other near anistar. these two stones pretty much look the same, but because of where they came from, they will have different natural influences. so, you can get both and x and y stone/form from one evo process! it's really quite neat how the natural environment influences this :)
there is also a bit about it being on the pokemon energies itself, but from what i've seen, it really has looked like it's base stone properties.

Love the teams you picked especial grimora, but can you explain mags? I don't see the similarities there honestly
he's a psychic type specialist, they are all psychic types :) keep in mind the teams i posted are what i imagine their Elite 4 teams are like, im sure he has smeargles but they arent on his competitive team LOL
psychics are fitting for him because they both generally share precognitive powers (Mags can sense the future with his eye(s)) and are typically are seen as the mysterious, magical, and/or Scary pokemon with their power to break minds
Xatu straightup can foresee the future, particularly the terrible events to come:
honestly i picked Rabsca because it looks like an old man pondering an orb. very wizardly pokemon
Espathra has magic powers it gets from its big ol eyes (has a shitty+murderous attitude much like himself)
SIGIL- lyph. sigil pokemon. mags is obsessed with sigils, and he'd totally have some weird ancient pokemon to study
alakazam... i mean its called alakazam. its another wizard pokemon. mega evo is an old man. has a MASSIVE IQ to match his own
scream tail - honestly the weakest link, but i gave all the other scrybes a paradox pokemon and wanted him to have one as well, this one was the only psychic type that wasnt a legendary (wouldve loved to give him a futuristic one but alas). but its not as if he wouldnt be interested in owning a paradox to study, so whatever
other psychics he'd own on his team are Musharna, Unown, galarian Slowking, and Hatterene. and Mew but he doesnt tell anyone :)
