Butcher loves being spoiled. He didn't grow up with a lot of money, and even life with Becca was tight when it came to expenses. When you bring him over to your apartment and he sees just how wealthy you are, he's all for being spoiled. He doesn't want a new wardrobe or fancy electronics. He wants big guns and weapons and tech that'll help them take down Homelander. He loves going to hotels for date nights and getting room service and relaxing with a massage. When you find out he's sick you immediately hire the best doctors in the world to prolong hid life as long as they're capable of. That annoys him a little, since he'd rather live in denial, but you care about him too much to watch him die. Because he is Butcher, at the end when he takes the virus he also takes quite a bit from your safe with cash, leaving the jewelry, so that he can make it to wherever he's going.

Hughie would be really uncomfortable at first. He wouldn't really put two and two together and thinks you're just spending way too much money on him. Once he realizes it's not as big a deal as he fears, he still isn't 100% okay with it. You reassure him so much that you want to do this, that you like doing it, that he deserves to be spoiled. But he didn't grow up with a lot of money and so he still freaks out a little when he sees the bill from dinner or a receipt from a shopping spree in which you bought The Boys all non-blood covered wardrobes. He might sneak a five or ten dollar bill into your wallet to "make up for it" of which you are way better at sneaking back into his wallet so he can get a coffee or a sweet treat if he wants. You love spoiling him and getting him the things he not only needs but wants. He's been through a lot. You feel like it's the least you can do.

Annie is also pretty uncomfortable at first. She doesn't want to make it a big deal, but her childhood and her dad leaving with her family's money makes her think you'll do the same. If she gets too comfortable, you might pull the rug out from under her and do the same. It takes a lot of reassurance, but eventually, she realizes you're not like him at all. She appreciates the funding for Starlight House and all the financial assistance you can offer. She'd rather you spoil her through her organization or with her friends rents than solely on her. Still, you find ways. She loves these chocolate covered strawberries from this one gourmet bakery in the city that (somehow) ends up on her desk occasionally without a note or anything. She loves them and you love her. It's a win win situation. And, of course, you take her on the occasional expensive dinner where the hill is no issue and you always get dessert.

M.M. makes it clear he doesn't want any of it. MAYBE the occasional fancy dinner at a place he could never afford, but he doesn't want it to become a regular thing. Marvin has a nice apartment and a relatively comfortable lifestyle for what he does. He doesn't want to be spoiled in any way and will go halves on just about everything as long as he is able to. You try to respect his wishes and only really spoil him on holidays with things he might not need, but he has been eyeing like a new watch or a bigger TV. He really doesn't love the idea of you spending a lot of him and, more often than not, sends you to his friends where you can give to the group rather than him personally. You never take offense, understanding where he's coming from.

Frenchie would love to be spoiled. He never was as a kid and had to he pretty crafty when he found himself in New York. He has absolutely no problem with a little spoiling. You definitely upgrade his lab and technology, not that he needs it, but rather because you want to. He could do anything with a paperclip and a rubber band if he wanted, but you want him to he able to work with everything as his disposal. Because you're willing to pay a pretty penny for just about anything, he's not shy asking for small stuff: new headphones to listen to music, a new phone after his was lost, etc. Big things like rent or things like that he makes sure you know he has handled. He definitely wants to spoil you back in the ways that he can, especially when it comes to food. He can make scraps into a five course meal with some time and a little creativity.

Kimiko isn't sure how to feel about it. She knows you want to spoil her and help her and her friends. She knows it wouldn't hurt to upgrade the hideout or the office. She isn't sure she deserves it, though. Of course her friends do. She could never stop you from doing for them, but she has a lot of doubts when it comes to her. She definitely doesn't like grand gestures. They freak her out too much. She likes small, intimate gifts and gestures, like a new pair of the latest headphones so her music has the best quality sound or a new pair of boots after hers get drenched in blood and never feel clean enough. She also loves getting body products like new bubble soaps and sugar scrubs. You start a little collection, so she has some to choose from. Knowing she smells nice and feels clean is a big way you spoil her.

Bonus! Soldier Boy has no issues being spoiled whatsoever. He loves it. At a time, he had more money than he knew what to do with. He'd throw huge parties and get all the best drugs and most expensive booze. Nothing was off limits. He might not have his money, but he has yours, and he intends to do the same thing. You love it. His parties are legendary, and you know the only one he's going to bed with at the end of the night is you. You spoil him in other ways, of course. You like seeing him get all dressed up in fancy suits and expensive clothes. And he loves a good steak. He's not one for small gifts, though. He doesn't want an expensive watch or the latest phone. He likes grand gestures instead, and you're more than willing to do that for him.

Marvin is sooo autism to me... I think he bites his nails alot and rocks back and forth on his heels when uncomfortable. Not only does he have a love for meteorology but I think he loves music too. He hugs himself because he likes the pressure and sometimes he squeezes his eyes shut for a few minutes because it feels nice

Howdy! I am the forster of the disabled charizard and bisharp, I have gone to my vet to see some of the issues with this mating behavior.

Also, I feel like i haven't explain well what's up with with them both very well, the bisharp (marvin) is born without any metal crest at all, no blades or anything, he's very vulnerable compared to other pawniards and bisharps, I have attempted to socialize him with his kind and almost got him killed bc the others were so freaked out by his appearance (he was in a fortified socialization cage too) , so I keep him away from other bisharps and he freaks out whenever they're around, my shelter told me all his mates were super aggressive towards him , he feels more comfortable with other pokémon than his own kind, so he isn't alone all the time, we have a meganium that treats him as if he's her child and grooms him regularly.

Our charizard (ember) is wingless, can't fly and tbe breeder declawed him, he is very gentle and scared of other firetypes and has nightmares frequently, he is much, much weaker than the average charizard should be, he is very terrified of his own kind that he bashed his head against the wall when we got a another charizard in temporary for a situation concerning the owner's health, I had to let someone else foster that charizard, I suspect his breeder didn't care about charizard social structures and given how small ember is, he got bullied severely, socializing him is hard.

I didn't actually plan on these two meeting eachother but ember left his enclosure in a daze and ended up in the Marvin's enclosure, i was at a vet appointment for my albino eevee, I wasn't aware of this till i came back with marvin putting his blankets over him, marvin never lets anyone takes his blankets.

Currently i'm letting them interact in very controled settings, even if ember can't breath fire, his meltdowns can trigger Marvin's panic attacks, my vet says as long as they're separated during mating seasons and interact via controlled spaces then they should be okay, given their individual disabilities, I might end up adopting them soon since not alot of folks can handle the level of trauma they both have, I'm keeping a close eye on them both.

unfortunately my answer to this is going to be very short and probably not what you want to hear: i am extremely concerned about the quality of life of both of these pokemon. they cannot engage in natural behaviors inherent to the experience for their species. the bisharp cannot train himself or lead a group of pawniard. the charizard cannot fly or battle and panics to the point of self harm when presented with a pokemon that might attempt to battle him. these pokemon almost certainly cannot be experiencing a good quality of life, whether separated or together.

i cannot see a world in which either of these pokemon should be allowed to suffer through existing like that if you're giving an accurate representation of their situation. were these pokemon in my care, i would be advocating for their humane euthanasia. i cannot give advice to their care outside of that.

have you seen the first shadow? because there's alot of other stuff about the baby jesus thing that specifically connects to patty newby and dark of the moon. it has alot of context tied to it that bears considering.

Hey anon, yes I have seen The First Shadow. Only once though so I do not claim to be an expert on it. Also, it's difficult to analyze due to the fact that I cannot just go and watch it again (unlike the show itself). While it is canon and I'm sure it adds to the story, it is still an extension of it. It provides many clues to what's ahead, but the main story is the show itself.

When Lonnie admits to "stealing baby Jesus", yes it is related to the play but... let's not forget how many comparisons the show has made between Will Byers and Jesus.

Will has always been Jesus-coded within the show...

He was brought back to life.

The association with lights...

In ST4, Joyce was clearly compared to the porcelain doll "pregnant with an explosive device". After exposing the doll's "pregnant" belly she says "Jesus".

We know that doll represents Joyce because after Joyce "smashes" the doll, Murray panics and asks Joyce if she is okay. As if she had been the one who was "smashed".

Plus this line and the focus on Lonnie during Will's funeral... look... I'm just saying. These are not just coincidences.

Again, Joyce telling “Papa” that he took Will from her. Will saying “the Demogorgon got [him]”. Demogorgon also means “deep father”… I can go on but I’ll leave it there…

The Dark of the Moon Play

For those unaware of the plot, click here for it. It is actually pretty dark, so beware. (TW: m*rder, and r*pe).

There are absolutely parallels between Patty and Barbara. Barbara and John have this "forbidden" type romance between them, similar to how Patty and Henry are portrayed within TFS. Of course Henry is comparable to the "witch boy" who wants to be human again. Also yes, Patty has a father who is a preacher just like Barbara.

Patty can also be compared to the unwanted baby, yes… stolen by Paster Newby yes.

BUT, I strongly argue that these comparisons are NOT the sole purpose of the play within TFS play.

Barbara is also comparable to Joyce! Joyce plays a huge role in the play's production as well. Within TFS, Joyce has multiple love interests: Lonnie, Hopper, and Bob; Barbara is portrayed as someone who "gets around".

Barbara becomes pregnant... gives birth... and the baby is taken from her and killed because it was, allegedly, "a monster"! Again, just like what essentially happened to Will. He was “taken” and “killed”…

"Pregnant with an explosive device" or rather "a monster". Not a far cry from how many people of Hawkins view Will either...

Now, Marvin is also comparable to Lonnie. Remember, he’s 25 dating a teenage Joyce! This is another important clue. He is a predator. They even make it a point in the show for Joyce to call his new girlfriend “a teenager.”

Plus the fact that he’s also in connection with a Pastor, just like Marvin. Lonnie is the real villain here. Plus the society that condoned his behaviour. The amount of clues leading to this are far more than I even touch on in this post or previous posts. You just need to look a bit deeper to find them.

The play itself tells the tale of how problematic a mob mentality or rather “hive mind” mentality can be. The people of the town allowed these cruel acts toward Barbara without a second thought.

The true monsters in this world are usually the ones who seem the most “normal” within society.

so in recent videos we all know that Joseph hasn't really been around much right? so I have a thing where Joseph was getting jealous of Junior and Cody's bond and goes to find his own new group of friends (and failing) until he got a somewhat stable one

so basically just like a backstory of how him and Braxton met and how he got hired

except I wanna do this little au thing where Braxton used to be like an actual scary villain type of thing ( in a mafia vibe but also he's kind of stupid ) and Chef PP witnesses his antics and try to ignore it by forcing himself to act happy go lucky so Braxton doesn't target him and maybe a few details on why he doesn't wanna leave

so when i read avenger fics i noticed something. in the insert reader fics sometimes the reader is a Stark. like their his kid adopted or not. i see this alot. i even see some were their Nat's adopted kid. i understand why this happens. in the mcu we've seen these two be actually good with kids, (Natasha with Clint's kids to the point they call her aunty Nat and Tony with morgan/peter). BUT I NEED SOME PARENT STEVE! maybe its the daddy issues but i need this old man to somehow pull a Stark and adopt a kid. idk ex-hydra like Bucky or something. and it doesn't even have to be mcu Steve it can literally be 616 comic him or Avengers assemble him or SOMETHING! for god sake I'll take a nonspecific version were its a mix of different medias of him. i just want this goober to be a caring loving dad who may not get all of the current century stuff but he's trying, with the help of the avengers and this kid he somehow took under his wing.

I haven't been in contact with E since she left to Oregon with her boyfriend. For obvious reason. But I wonder how she is feeling. I literally just confessed my feelings to her. I crashed so hard haha. I was really suprised by her respond after as well. Confused me alot and suprised me alot. I wonder how she is doing, because I cannot stop thinking about our conversation. I go instagram and I see she posted a picture of herself with the song Cinnamon by Lana Del Ray. The lyrics of the song said "There's things I wanna say to you But I'll just let you live." I was wondering if she was speaking to me. So I posted a picture on my story and I used the song Back to U by Slander. Using the lyrics "So maybe I should put my heart out on the table and fuck it if it breaks. And maybe I've been hiding from what I'm afraid of." Eventually when I got back on instagram E liked my story. So later that day she posted another selfie. I liked it as well. So later that night when I was working. I was listening to a song from drake marvin room. Suddenly, I get a text from E at 12;26am on November 2. I was so surprised. First thought was she has been thinking about me just like how I have too. I texted back. But it was a quick talk. She said she had to go and have a good day at work. I left her on read. I continue working and trying not to think so much about it. At 1:01am, I received a call from her. I picked and I heard her beautiful voice. I asked she had something to tell me, but she said had nothing. I was like okay. I hear voices come closer to her. She told me she had to go. So she hung up. I was so flustered. I was happy she did texted me and called. I was like damn she really misses me. I really missed her alot. I thought she would had waited a few more hours to text me and call me. I finish my shift of work. I came home and I knew she was gonna call me sooner or later. I was waitng fo it. I just knew she would call. I couldn't wait. She finally called and we talked. It was really nice hearin her voice after not being able to talk to her for the past days. E had a Bachelorette party to go, once she left I left to go to her sister house. I remember see E on facebook call with her sister. She look so lovely. We texted each other. She told me she had a few drinks. I was worried, because she had a long drive home and she usually can't take alcohol. I was hoping to leave the same as her so we could talk on the phone. But I took awhile. Once I got to my car I called her and we talked. I don't remember much as well. We both were buzzed. She was tired as well. But I ended up confessing more of my feelings for her. I remember E saying do you think it is because you miss me? I told her I do miss you. She replied back by saying I miss you too. I miss you alot actually. Broo that hit so hard. I was felt like the luckiest dude in the world. She eventually fell asleep.

YES i have more headcanons for my differential time-period au. i was NOT finished. ('25 marvin, 60s whizzer)

- whizzer has a DISGUSTINGLY thick brooklyn accent. it cracks marvin up every single time he talks

- '25 marvin bitches a LOT more then his 60s counterpart, this makes whizzer want to rip his skin off 50% of the time

- marvin likes to talk about when things he owns were invented, he talks alot about cds and forms of music

- when 60s whizzer was told he was much nicer then '25 whizzer, he was INCREDIBLY confused, since he didn't think he was that nice (he's a sweetie)

- marvin does not stop talking. ever. unless he's upset he won't stop talking. whizzer absolutely adores it because he never really has anything to say, so marvin fills in the silence

- they realised they had some form of feelings for eachother when whizzer was sat holding marvins inhaler to his mouth for him after gym because he was too exhausted and out of breath to move. it was extremely weird for anyone that wasn't them

So, I went to Tony's twitter because I've been thinking about Tapers alot because of the similarities between it's Marvin and my Marvin and I wanted to download that one picture of him and his Care and while I got the image, I did kinda start semi freaking out because Tony also is the guy who made Petscop and it's just like, that guy made me. I'm from that guys brain. If Petscop the series was never made, would I just not know why I felt this way or would I just not exist entirely? If I heard him in a passing conversation, I'd probably think it was Paul for a second because he said he voice acted it. That's kinda terrifying to me.

It doesn't help that I already went into his twitter panicked, because I came because I was thinking of Tapers and I am never mentally well when I think about Tapers.

Also if by any chance someone who sees this is also from Petscop, do not read Tapers. Tapers is essentially Care torture simulator x 50 but a book. Tapers has absolutely ruined me mentally and while it made me remember some stuff, it also made me have a breakdown after reading it. Tapers hurts me in a way I cannot describe.
