i keep thinking about how they use sonic advance 3 in particular in the one flashback in sonic prime, it's because that's where 'unbreakable bond' originates from!

#A great episode tbh especially given the low budget. I feel like they really did their very best #And even though what I'm going to say next is probably going to be all critic - because I nitpick things and that's what I always end up–#talking about - I still want to underline that it was a very solid and enjoyable episode!!!#Alright the ss/kk was so 💞💞💞 every scene I had to rewatch twice or thrice akhscbashfb they're so cute!!!#Except for the riding scene tho. That scene gives me massive second hand embarrassment every time I just wish it will end as fast as–#possible pffttt. Mmmmhhh... The drawings weren't even too bad all accounted. My main complain is about the quicksand scene...#I feel like that one should be a slow quiet emotional scene. I never licked the choice of using the song as background soundtrack :/#I feel like it ruins the mood of the scene (it was still good though)#I also... Generally don't like the direction they seem to go for with Akutagawa's character in the anime‚ he seems quite a bit flatter–#compared to how he is in the manga. He can't be angry and evil ALL the time you need to show that softness get through from time to time.#If not what even is the point of his character. Yet in the anime he's angry (and not distraught) when he loses the mine craft and he's–#angry when he's questioning Atsushi about his motifs and he's angry when he's bragging about Atsushi's abilities to Goncharov and he's–#angry when he makes the promise with Atsushi at the end of the episode and eventually he'll be just as angry even when telling Atsushi–#to run away as he's sacrificing his life for him. It is pretty flat at the end of the day.#If I can say something about K/ensho Ono without being killed I think they do contribute to making him feel angry all the time.#But that said it's all probably poor directing choices (or simply choices I don't agree with).#Also‚ about cuts. Usually I try to be lenient about it– I understand it's hard to fit in everything and b/sd already does a very–#good job by adapting the manga almost panel-by panel. It's just that... You skip Akutagawa showing compassion for Atsushi after the–#orphanage director died. You skip Atsushi sharing the same compassion when Akutagawa loses his targed in the mines chase. You skip the–#“Nothing special about that. // I suppose he's far crueler than my own mentor.” line. And sure each of them may be negligible by their own #But together they wave a consistent web of relationship between the two characters you know? And it's a loss to omit them all #Well no mind. Again it was still a great episode overall!!!!#I think the colors in the mines could have been prettier in the mines but we can't have it all #Off to season 4!!! out of boredom/curiosity I read 60 eps of a webtoon. it was not good.

#orlbs #misclb #no interesting power shifts #tbh just felt really unfair and therefore kind of stupid for the li to have all these conditions/motivations and hire the mc for it #and like… not give any clear instructions whatsoever #it was clearly more atmosphere-motivated than character-motivated #and listen I can be compelled by a rancid atmosphere if it’s structurally sound yknow #or at least stupid *on purpose*#also ‘oh I’m starting to like him because he treats me so well’ no he doesn’t. stop lying.#also the author keeps using assault without actually addressing it #like even outside the main relationship #which is already pretty bad #but there isn’t really a difference between how the li treats mc and the MULTIPLE assaults #and then not actually addressing or resolving the emotional impacts #it sucks. it’s really bad actually. I should not have read 60 chapters of it #oh also the webtoon does a really irritating thing #where ALMOST every chapter has 4-6 of the previous chapter’s panels #but not always #so it’s easier to get into the habit of skipping the first few panels and then having to go back on the rare occasions it’s not a repeat #like the exact same panels the exact same dialogue #it’s padding. it’s not efficient. just cut it out tbh

sex education is a phenomenal show with well-written representation, amazing actors, campy ideas, great character arcs and character growth and i would recommend the show to anyone, but it's just that the show also has the most boring and unlikeable main character of all time and the main plot of a season is usually the weakest plotline

Markiplier's FNAF videos are so entertaining. I love his personality.

I already did from the St. Jude videos (where on YouTube Game Theory "canceled cancer" in charity videos to give to St. Jude, and he was a part of that), but I do so even more now.

#i've also weirdly come to the conclusion that the fnaf characters and jump scares really don't scare me that much (like their designs don't #bother me for the most part. though maybe it would be different if i was actually playing. and i realize they get worse as they go on i #think? like with some of the thumbnails i've seen from 4? but so far i'm fine with them) but that more than anything... i feel like if i #was playing this game it would just stress me out with all that you have to keep track of and all the constant switching between cameras #and stuff #so i guess it's a good thing i'm not playing. lol #especially since i have a bad habit of getting overwhelmed about the most basic things. anyway. and kind of have a condition with it #so thank you markiplier for uploading these so i can just watch you playing #but speaking of fnaf4... i've actually watched all of the first 3 games and will probably start watching 4 tomorrow. which i've heard from #people is a lot scarier than the first three? wish me luck #also i'm definitely interested in the lore. it's probably the main reason i'm here tbh (i was kind of expecting that). as horror games #truly aren't my thing #and if anyone knows me and my tastes i love stories with lore

probably 3 or 5 imo (leaning towards 5). 3 is the first time we really see kiryu out of the dark underbelly of kamurocho and in like. his dream life. he's taking care of his family, it's pretty low stakes, the beach is calm and pretty, he's got friends, the community is nice. he can just take it easy breaking in his dilfy button ups. go crazy

but then this drastic physical distance isn't enough, and when you see that fail, when he has to go back to the bullshit and he still can't protect people which is why he left in the first place it fucking CRUSHES kiryu (re: the death of rikiya and thus the spirit of okinawa, the rude awakening from that dream of an idyllic haven away from kamurocho). like. oughh. it's also just kinda heartbreaking seeing what he's leaving behind and what he can't have because of it (esp majima but even friends like date and yuya and kazuki and whatever). and then. mine. and daigo. fucking OUGHHHGGGHHJZJGGJDJAAAA

5 is kiryu's depression arc and it Shows. he's trying another move, this time without the ppl he's doing it for, and he fucking hates it. it sucks. he's miserable. and it's not enough anyway and then his son shows up and he can't be there for him now and he couldn't be there or wasn't before and he can't fix that and he knows that so just hurry up and get out of here don't make me choose again i can't keep doing this and they won't leave him alone and he keeps shrugging them off and they keep chasing him and why can't they just let him waste away and they fucking. killed majima. they fucking killed majima. and so whether or not he's actually dead he has to investigate. and he puts the suit on again. again. after months away from his family and the only shit he cared about, away from the future he was stupid enough to think he could have, it's worth nothing. people are gonna die again. people who need him.

majima's getting old and saejima's going away again and the tojo's far from worth fighting for and has been for years but they gotta keep going. daigo and kiryu need them. wherever the hell kiryu is. who fuckin knows. and then all the shit with baba happens and fucking MIREI AND HARUKA and i just. oughh. plus shinada's story is sad, though i think it's got a pretty happy ending. but haruka fights her way to the top of a fickle and often poisonous industry knowing that's what's keeping her and her fellow morning glories' only dad/father figure away and it all feels so distant and small and like it doesn't matter at all. and then haruka gives it all up to find him, to seek him out even though he's running away, because more than anything she wants him to stay, even if it's dangerous. and she finds him in the snow, dying. broken. and he can't even believe she's there, it's too good to be true. he thinks he's dreaming. she knows he loves her so, so much he's willing to hurt them both terribly to protect her. but he's back. it's alright. he'll live, and they'll be together again.

but, of course, it's not that simple. and with the hindsight of 6 (though you could argue that's more about 6 being sad than 5, which is fair), knowing it was all for nothing, and that they'd be torn apart again, and that kiryu would once again run away, this time in such a complete and heartbreaking fashion it's just. aghhh

#4 would be really depressing if it didnt piss me off so much. like saejima's plotline is soooooo. urghh. bawling #6 is fucked up too. agony #one is obviously sad too like. kiryu loses EVERYTHING #sorry this is so kiryu-centric. obviously the depressingness isnt all dependent on how kiryu's doing game to game #but it's alsp literally his saga. like he's the main character for most of the games #hes the most consistent emotional thruline character and we're meant to view events through his lens a lot #plus a lotta the shit that fucks me up the most happens to/around him so. yeah #but saejima's shit in 4 man. agonyyyyy and haruka's in 5. and ichiban's nightmarish situation oughh #tbh 2 and 0 have their moments too. like 0 fucks me up but i dont think of it as depressing exactly for some reason #2's implication of kiryu's suicidality is Rough Shit and some of the stuff with daigo and ryuji and sayama are p emotional #also ishin hurt my feelings. but not that much #anyway. thats my argument for 5 lol #rgg #sorry for rambling but like. Tbh i think Disney should rebrand to make Minnie their main character instead of Mickey. My reasoning:

1) if you talk to like any disney fan, especially the ones that collect stuff, they all like Minnie more anyways

2) they already sell way more Minnie merch than Mickey anyways

3) Minnie's disney jr shows do better than Mickey's

4) itd be really funny to see people complain about disney having a "woke feminist agenda"
