An: eeek! I’m so exited, it’s been a while since I’ve gotten a request 😊

Today had gone smoothly, a new greenie came up along with our supplies for the month. The poor boy was terrified, almost kluncked his pants because of the intimidating gladers. That was until he saw me, he calmed down. His entire demeanor changed.

He got all buddy buddy with me real quick, thought it’s nothing I’m not used to considering I was the first grader. I was I. Charge, alongside Alby and Newt, so I gave most the tours. Usually looking more inviting than most.

It started off fine, questions, a compliment here and there… then toward the end of the night, where we were hosting our party for the greenie, he got too comfortable. His compliments turned into flirting, and flirting became to close to being physical.

“Yo greenie!” A strong voice called. “You better keep your hands off her.” There Minho stood, tall, hand on my shoulder. He was glaring at the boy.

“Minh-“ I was cut off.

“And what if I don’t? She seems fine to me. Ain’t that right sweetheart?” The boy looked at me with a flirtatious grin. I shifted uncomfortably.

“I will punch your shuckface!” Minho yelled, speeding towards the greenie. Luckily Alby got in between them.

“Okay guys, I’ll talk to the greenie calm down.”

“No, Alby I got it.” I smiled gently, Alby nodded. “You! Greenie we have to talk. Let’s go” my tone Stirn.

“But-“ Minho started, I looked him in the eyes.

“I need to talk to you too later” the runner nodded.

After a storm conversation with the greenie, I called Minho over to our little spot. It was a little pond with a bench next to it.

“Minho, you know i appreciate you always stepping up for me, i can take care of myself” my voice was clear, but soft. Minho looked down.

“Yeah I know. And I’m confident in your strength… I just, some people need to learn their place.” He muttered out. I smiled to him my hand reaching out to intertwine with his.

“I know , thank you for looking out for me” the runner looked up.

“I- I’m in love with you!!” He blurted out suddenly. My eyes widened, before softening.

“Hahaha, I know.” A smile on my face.

“You… do?”

“Always have”

Red and flustered Minho yelled. “W-what!”

“It’s okay! I like you too.” I laughed kissing his cheek. Minho blushed.

“That’s good…”

Tomorrow I'm going to my friend's birthday party, and I think I'm going to wear a funny hat. 🧸🎩 It has pom-poms and pipe cleaners and googly eyes on it. He said he already had a bunch of cake, so we might not have any sweets at the party, since it sounds like he's had enough to satisfy his craving for now. 🍰

I also might make some bracelets later. I got some fun new beads, like one that looks like a rubber duck and one that looks like a strawberry. But the thing is, I make so many bracelets and then hardly ever wear them. 🫥 But I like them too much to get rid of them, so I just have a bunch of bracelets lying around.

Oh! Have you ever had a London fog latte, Captain? I like them a lot. It's like tea, lavender, honey, vanilla extract, and milk. 😋 But specifically, it has to be culinary lavender. Other kinds of lavender aren't for eating. If I'm feeling really fancy, I like to add tapioca pearls and make it a bubble tea. 🫧

It's funny that it's called a latte, but it doesn't have coffee in it. I guess it's because of the milk? Anyway.

were there some good moments fromt he comic? yeah. i liekd vlad finding out about and seeing that evil future danny/vlad was essentially his monkeys paw wish come true of if danny was his actual son and took after him morally and he was horrified. them following up on his ultimate enemy realization that he was just the worst and regretting it. but again none of this made sense for a post s2 finale kindred spirits vlad who had kind of crossed the line.

but i dont envy the comic writer you had to deal with all of season 3 and its finale and try to salvage something.

but it sincerely wouldve been better to just say 'we are starting off immediately following s2, s3 never happened.. except for d-stabilized cause that was the only good mid thing in s3'

i posted about hanging out with a guy like momths and months and months ago and how i liekd him but i wasnt sure if he just saw me as a friend. anyway yeah we been up and about and he's the sweetest guy ever i think??? he constantly checks up on me when he cant see me and he keeps me posted on whatever he's doing and reassures me of anything without me asking him to. i told him how i love spending time with him and how i wanna see him but i understand he has a busy week ahead of him and he sat and told me that he loves to spend time with me and will keep me posted and just that in itself meant so much. just the constant reassurance. he is so kind ):

Bang-On Balls: Chronicles - Actually a really fun lil 3d platform using the country balls themeing but does a lot of its own thing with it too.

Atelier Yumia - I was having a lot of fun with it and just need to get back into it. I'm still very early on but it is cozy and fun to explore and craft. need to get back into it.

Ace Attorney Investigations - Miles Edgeworth - I'm halfway through the second game I believe. I like to take small breaks between the chapters. lot of fun tho, as a big ace attorney fan.

Warhammer 40K - Boltgun - Doom-inspired shooter I'd like to just finish for the sake of it, it's fun!

Spyro the Dragon - I'm doing a replay for some reason and I like it ;3 shouldn't really take me that long but still.

The Hundred Line - Last Defence Academy - Working through the various endings when I feel like it. May try and get some done during work from home tomorrow. Got at least 40 more endings to see so.... yeah

As for games on my list to play: Sandland since it is on PSN's catalogue rn and i liekd the look of it and the demo.

there's others but that's the main stuff.

I have to recommend this show that I watched on BBC, it's called this is going to hurt. Coulda found a better name imo. I read an excerpt(?) of it in English class and then found a whole 7 episodes in the wild.

It's about this adam guy who's a doctor and also an asshole. He's such a pp head. Also he's gay! wahooo! I didn't think main characters could be gay. But he is which is nice. Except he's a dick to like everybody even his boyfriend some times, forogt his name, like not cool bro.

He also has sleep issues and ptsd from his job and makes alot alot of questionable decisions and very bad mistakes. Also I didn't like the ending to the show but it was worth watching for me.

Some very memorable scenes and lots of drama. Warning for medical shit like uh premature baby scene. But the character is jus entertaining to watch in his prick ways and I guess it made it easier to empathise with him cuz hes funny. And also cuz he jus wants to help people bro. He has good intentions but like the execution is a bit garbage. Anywya yeah what a crazy show that was nice.

I like alot of the other characters too, like shruti (?) I liekd her character development, and the other nurses and some of the patients, like the old lady. Adam snuck in alcohol for her lmaoo.

seeing the tangle tower resurgence on my feed has me thinking about my dg oc trish... she was abandoned in early 2021 but i might bring her back with a new coat of paint... they were fun (overly long explanation of hazy memories under the cut)

their whole like schtick was they're an obviously fake medium. but What If. but no she's a hack. But What If They Weren't

and there's like a series of running gags of whether or not she's been murdered, and you find her body multiple times to the point where it becomes a bit of a boy who cried wolf situation until they're like Straight Up Killed in front of grimoire and sally.

there was a hypothetical outer cast but i never fully fleshed them out because the hyperfix didn't last that long. theyre a scientist, government agent, hack spirit medium, doctor, train conductor, bellboy, and mysterious little girl (now mysterious woman).

it was a theft case turned murder - a scientist traveling on this train had a very strong poison in their possession, which had been stolen at some point on the journey. upon realizing it was gone, the train ended up being parked on the track and put on lockdown while grimoire and sally were called in. idk about the logistics of that either it's a mystery game premise

(i was playing The Raven Remastered around this time, hence the train thing. and also a dash of the Haunt The House games because i played sooooo much Haunt The House in elementary school. add a pinch of Last Train To Blue Moon Canyon and that's it that's the plot)

during the investigation, after the first round of testimony and exploration of the train, the body of the scientist would be found, and the train would suddenly start back up again. i really liekd this idea specifically because most mystery games you don't get to know the victim, so having an opportunity to chat with them some was a fun idea to me.

by this point it's a race against the clock to figure out who the killer is before the train reaches the station and the poison is (presumably) handed off to dubious parties.

the idea was mostly Vibes, i don't think i even had a planned murderer, that's how barely baked it was, i just vividly remember this bit with trish where they had channeled the ghost of the victim and recounted their last words, only for it to later be figured out that the possession was false - but the last words were accurate because trish had like been in the fucking vents or whatever (are there even vents on a train) and had witnessed the murder. at which point grim and sally are like "wait. so you saw the killer" and trish is like "yeah" which i found boundlessly funny.

and then trish is about to say the name of the killer but then she starts looking real bad and collapses over dead - she's been poisoned!! except, japes, they're actually fine and not dead, this is a ploy to catch the killer. killer gets caught and then the killer's like "but i poisoned you!! how are you still alive" and trish is like "my final jape... i've been possessing my corpse this whole time" n just, jumps off the train. farewell.

silly fucking convoluted plot but that's just how adventure games work. and i imagine everyone else could have done equally silly shit if i'd bothered to do anything with them. i get the sense that the poison was a government thing or something and that's why the agent was there, and it was like "ah a political intrigue case. with no supernatural things" and then trish is like "hi it's dubious whether or not i was dead the whole game byeeee"

Making and maintaining friendships can be really hard, and I think it's gotten even harder in the past few years since people were so isolated for so long. Without knowing any of you, I can't really guess as to why these friendships aren't working out. Sometimes, it's just that the people a person is trying to be friends with aren't the right people for them, whether that's because they don't share common interests or values, whether that's because they have trouble communicating, or whether that's just because they don't "click". That's not the problem of either party- it's just something that happens sometimes. Other times, people grow apart from one another or become closer to other people. That really sucks, too, but again, it's not something that any one person did wrong. It's just what happens sometimes.

Sometimes, a person makes the people around them feel awkward or uncomfortable, usually because they have trouble "reading the room". They might violate the expectations other people had for how a social interaction would go, accidentally cross personal boundaries, fixate on a specific topic of conversation, ask questions that are too personal for the relationship they have with the person they're talking to, have trouble empathizing with other people's points of view, have difficulty reading nonverbal social cues, just have trouble maintaining a conversation, or a thousand other things. That doesn't mean that that person will never have friends or that they can't have positive social interactions with other people. But it does mean that sometimes, those skills need to be learned or practiced, or that the person does best with friends who don't mind those quirks.

Other times, people have patterns in their friendships and relationships that they don't recognize, but that push people away from them. Needing constant reassurance about social interactions, being too clingy or smothering (in the context of whatever that means for the person), ignoring boundaries, being critical, controlling, dishonest, or selfish, gossiping or spreading rumors about a person, being inconsistent or flaky, making insensitive remarks, or a thousand other things can contribute to a person feeling like a friendship isn't for them, even if it seemed like it would be a great match at the start. Again, this doesn't mean that someone who struggles with these patterns will never have friends or that they can't have lasting friendships with other people. But it does mean that they may need to become aware of these patterns and work to change them so that the friendship can continue to grow.

It's also important to remember that it's okay not to be everyone's cup of tea. Our self-worth isn't dependent on the number of friends we have or what other people think of us; it's dependent on how much we like ourselves and can recognize our good qualities. And, somewhat paradoxically, I think that liking ourselves makes other people like us more, too. It sounds cliche, but one of the best things you can to do make friends is to be a friend to yourself first. And as long as you can find a few good friends who like you for who you are and care about you, it's not so important what other people think.

I hope this is at least a little bit helpful. Without knowing you or what your friendships are like, it's hard to guess at what's going wrong or what could be going better. But those are some common factors in why people may have difficulty making and maintaining friendships, even when they are really great people.
