the thing that makes my entire body itch about that darcy confession scene parallel is that that's the fucking MIDPOINT of darcy's and elizabeth's story. you've baked the pancake halfway and you've tossed it in the air and you're holding your breath --- and now you've got to catch it and BAKE THE OTHER SIDE!!! you can't just roll the credits and leave me hanging like that!!! what if there's never a third season??? the pancake is ON THE GROUND NEIL!!!

The funniest thing an angel can do is defy expectations. Unless, you expect angels to be horrid, malicious creatures, in that case, the funniest thing an angel can do is prove you right.

Nathaniel makes sure to lean over his momentary companion's shoulder just close enough it's more uncomfortable than comfortable, and tips his forefinger against his chin. His other hand is calmly resting behind his back. He seems to be staring at the bubbling, foul-smelling, most likely poisonous monstrosity with some sort of scientific curiosity.

Up until the moment said scientific curiosity vanishes off his features and the smile to take its place takes on a wicked touch, as some European in the 16th century might have put it.

her words come out with an air of disbelief, giving daryl pause. perhaps there is something to say about his level of trust in her. of course, he could go on about the time she shot and nearly killed him way back on the farm— but that was pure accident ( even though he believes he would have been able to tell a person from a walker, even and especially through a scope at long range ). no, time has passed, he's alive, and that whole thing is long behind them. there are plenty more things to be upset with her about besides that.

I think I'd much rather have a fandom that constantly writes characters ooc, but encourages everyone to write the characters how they want, then a fandom who writes perfectly characterised fic, but hates on anyone who writes anything even slightly ooc

I get mischaracterisation can be annoying (heck, I can be annoyed by it too sometimes) but "don't like, don't read", you know? It's not the end of the world lol

and at this point what even is 'perfectly characterised' tbh. like i get annoyed at stuff that doesn't fit My interpretation, i cant really bother to guess or care what the writers' was. nothing is perfectly in character if half the writers cant agree on what would be lol

and at the end of the day, who cares what the rest of fandom thinks anyway. encouraged or not, having to block harassers or not, you can still do whatever you want forever. screw the haters and inspire more free spirits!
