Also, after today's episode we're bound to have the godforsaken argument again about whether or not hating Mahito is justified, and I'm gonna give my two cents because I think people forget about this most of the time.
Yes, Mahito is an amazing villain. Yes, his sole purpose is to be disgusting and murdering people, killing Nanami, and everything else he ever did is because of his role as a villain. Yes, you cannot expect a villain to have compassion or make an exception for your favorites.
However, you are also allowed to fucking hate villains because, guess what?, that's also their fucking purpose. People hating a character, even more when it's a villain, doesn't mean that the character is poorly built or that the character in general is just plain bad. As a villain, it just means that he actually played his role well.
So yeah. You don't hate Mahito? Good for you, but let's not berate people who do because it makes no sense.

Okay so unless JJK is meant to be a tragedy, I have absolutely no idea how they're supposed to win against full-power!Sukuna. Unless Yūta somehow pulls the Six Eyes from his ass because he's Gojo's relative and because of Rika's ability to copy stuff? JJK's original OS had Yūta as the main character so I guess it could happen. Still, it feels lazy and forced. Like, why bother with the Sukuna vs Gojo fight and the "Gojo wins" statement?
Someone said that Yūta, Yūji, etc. might be trying to save Gojo right now and that's why they're not with Thunder guy. If that's the case, it would be great but even if Gojo survives, I don't see him fighting again simply because of how exhausted he'll be. Which means Yūta, Yūji and Maki will have to go against Sukuna once Thunder guy dies (unless Thunder wins but if that's the case I'm burning my merch).
And like... I get Gege wants to end his manga and doesn't like Gojo (like, why did you create him then? You're in charge of the plot my dude) but this is so fucking underwhelming.
Sukuna's backstory is non-existent and we're reaching the final fight, meaning he has nothing but charisma (aka Mappa and his VA doing god's work) and Yūji, the main character, is doing fuck all and doesn't even have a curse technique. He's sympathetic enough that I don't exactly need more and my boy needs to rest, but still.
Uraume is a complete enigma who has no bearing on the plot and even less explanations, and Kenjaku is apparently taking a holiday because wtf is he doing? Yuzu-something's plot relevance was killing Megumi's spirits in the dumbest arc I've read in a while. The bad guys in general are all so underwhelming.
Jogo and Mahito were much better villains. Mahito's power and cruelty were terrifying, the way he's an amalgamation of humans' hatred for/fear of each other was great. Like, I didn't need backstories for them because I know who they were and what they wanted. But we don't know what Sukuna and Kenjaku want, we don't know anything about them. It's... it's bad.
Also why did Sukuna wait to be against Thunder guy something to use his original form and Yuzu-something's gift? Is he scared of this guy whose name I can't remember to save my life but wasn't afraid of Gojo who dominated 99% of the fight? Like, what?

Why I think Gege done goofed with Nobara
I have already written it when reblogging one post in here (https://www.tumblr.com/saaraofthesand/727821828734713856/this-im-going-to-hijack-this-post-to-get-only?source=share this one if anybody's curious) but I think I need to post it as it is if I really want people to get into a discussion about it, so the reblog was deleted and here we are.
I commented only on Nobara, because I'm just so utterly disappointed with how she is being handled by Gege and it will already be a wall of text with just that.
She was hyped up to become the shonen girl done right - and we have been waiting for a character like her for such a long time, we ate this up. She wasn't afraid of her femininity, which at the time of the show coming out was still avoided by the strong female characters, she was there for the girls and her relationship with Maki was something that made me believe that Gege is a female author because it just felt so real, she didn't shy away from being emotional and did care for those close to her. She was stubborn, had a very interesting technique, she fought tooth and nail to be authentically herself.
While she was shown to not be one of the strongests, she still stood up to her opponents and gave them a run for their money a lot of times because she was resourceful. Mahito took her seriously, damn it! And he was shown as a formidable, quite scary and ferocious opponent! It was her time to shine! Mahito called her his natural enemy! It had to be a set up for something big!
And then she was kicked out of the plot. Not even confirmed to be killed AFTER YEARS.
Also, just after a similar death occurred just before that, even at the hands of the same villain (rip Nanami ily and I could write another essay about how great his character was and juxtaposing his death with MeiMeis fun beach vacation was a great move).
And honestly, I could understand her death - I even think Gege had an amazing opportunity to do with Nobara what they failed (in my eyes) to do with Haibara. We didn't get to know him - we were just told about him most of the time, and his death, while impactful for other characters, didn't feel impactful to us. But we got to know Nobara. If she was given time to be mourned we could once again be reminded how hard is the life of sorcerers. Full of sacrifice and too often cut short.
But we got barely anything after years and so many chapters. It's like she wasn't even there. And at this point, if she comes back, it will probably just feel hollow and unearned, like a deus ex machina.
Also I've just seen this tiktok and I think it's also part of the reason why yeeting Nobara out of the plot happened.

Now that it’s over, what’re your thoughts on jjk? From beginning to end? Up until that final panel, tell us everything O3O
you are very silly, like im gonna structure my thoughts "from beginning to end"
my opinions are my own and they are terrible: shortly i love it there is not rly anything that im butthurt about or disappointed with cuz i bet on the right horse (sukuna)
gege loves sukuna clearly as compared to gojo LOL. honestly winner of that fight was pretty obvious from the start o///o
i love sukuna we know i love sukuna, i love sukufushi even if that was slightly a let down in the end i wish their parting was hornier than what we had, but it was okay.
and because i love sukufushi i love megumi's role as a potential man (tm) aka not doing shit - cuz if he was out and about doing too much shit it would distract from sukufushi. megumi is fucking boring and doesnt do anything thats why he stayed a perfect wife
i love toji i love fushimama. man whos both a whore but also a dedicated wife guy???? toji is a hall of fame gold star seme. amazing. best thing
i love yutarika and everything about yutarika was great except i wanted yuta to die so we could get a reunion but its fineee he can live a bit longer its okaaayy they are happy with rika chan. and she was pretty upset about him being separated from his body so...anything for you rika chan.. as long as you are happy
culling game is a shit arc, its boring a lot of time was wasted on characters i dont give a fuck about that kinda dragged on BUT in the middle of it was maki slaughtering everyone and we love that, best part of it. hate naoya btw hate that gg brought him back but at the same time he is so hateable so it kinda made sense
the way its structured overall feels kinda messy like so much shit happens, but thats why i kinda feel that the final chapter mystery solving adventure of the trio felt lowkey as a troll like "see what it couldve been lol? anyway goodbye"
mahito arc was crazy. fucking coconuts. great writing there, manga until he is defeated feels like first half and its a better half then what comes after. but i didnt hate all of the latter half so its fine too. just that mahito is a great villain and he fucked up yuji good - rly kinda enjoyed that gg brings him back in the final chapter like it felt random in the moment but looking at it now, its a fun cameo/callback, funny how pissed he was at sukunas answer
sukuna...im a supreme sukuna dick rider and i liked his change of heart! not everyone is happy with it but a lot of his fans ARE happy and im one of them! i dont care for him and uraume as a ship and i dont uwuuu at their connection - even in that moment when he leads them by the hand i think sukuna is pretty ambivalent towards them but it was nice
things before the ending i love: yuji taking sukuna to his dream skape in his domain was such a sweet BROTHERS piece of fanservice that was so kind of gg
i caved in and accepted satosugu into my heart after gojo died and geto was there. gege finally had me beat - i was neutral to the ship but the shippers were so fucking annoying that i was very meh about seeing it but gege beat me down he made me submit, its a satosugu world im afraid (also in the afterlife we see haibara being cute with nanami which is a couple i love so that was epique
thats roughly it, i enjoyed it a lot and the length of the final fight while it felt long as we were following it week to week - i think it was justified because its fucking SUKUNA so i was very much fine with how long it took
thats about it

What would someone (you) say to to someone (me) to convince them to watch jujutsu kaisen (I hope I spelled that right)?
I know literally nothing except for what you've been posting recently.
~🍋
greetings, my luscious little lemon!
okay, where do we start? We got a friendly, exuberant main boy with a demon trapped inside him! We got his moody, mysterious gay best friend with a fucked-up family and the potential to Go Evil! We got the awesome badass bruiser of a Girl Buddy! We got an OP teacher who likes to pretend everything's fine but is actually pretty fucking messed up emotionally and has an intense homoerotic exes thing going on with one of the main villains of the series! It's....
Naruto! It's Naruto, right?
WRONG
It's JUJUTSU KAISEN, a fun and fast-paced horror-adventure where sorcerors fight 'curses' (demons formed from negative emotions) across Japan!
This series is chocka with gross and disturbing monsters (Mahito..... oh Mahito, I loathe and love you so), fascinating politics and worldbuilding (the Clans are so wonderfully fucked up!!), and awesome character development (I am not and never will be over Maki's arc).
Some fun trivia!
Yuji, the main character, is an absolute sweetiepie who deserves the world. He got into this whole messy world of sorcery by, uh, eating :checks notes: the finger of a demon king, Sukuna. And now he's gotta keep eating fingers. And once he's eaten all the demons fingers, he's gonna be EXECUTED, as it's the only way to exorcise the demon inside him forever T^T
He's... a very good sport about this. But it still seriously fucks him up, and he spends quite a significant portion of the series being Tormented both by the occasional horrors committed by Sukuna using his body, and the reality of having to die to exorcise him.
2. You might not get the hype about Maki Zenin, the closed-off badass second year with glasses, to begin with. THAT WILL CHANGE. You will understand why we all scream about her soon enough.
3. You should get very, very attached to Nanami, the tired blond salaryman who kinda hates being a sorceror and would rather retire to an office job. He's very responsible and a great dad to Yuji! Nothing bad happens to him at all!!!! :)
(sobs)
4. Gojo, the OP teacher, is hands down my fave, and many other people's faves as well. He's a hilarious prettyboy dork with orange-and-blue morality who genuinely cares about his kids - but otherwise, cares mostly about cake (relatable, right?). He's cocky and self-obsessed but also laden with SUCH A HUGE RESPONSIBILITY by being The Strongest! He is absolutely Not The Best person to be handed so much power, but he's gotta work with what he's got and everyone has to put up with him being an annoying adhd goober 24/7! He's just great fun all around.
What a shame it would be, if he were to get stuck in a box halfway through the series.
And then if he just. Stayed there. Forever.
What a shame -

JJK season 2 episode 20 thoughts! Only three episodes to go
(Manga spoilers too)
I’ve said this a few times, but this is one of the best episodes in the series. It has the best combination of hope, despair, fighting, dialogue, voice acting, etc. that really shows the best of jjk and why I love it!
(Spoilers for the next episode preview below + a screenshot with ID in alt) I just hope that next episode is just as good because the preview looks like it’s covering the rabbit and wolves scene! This content onwards until the end of Higuruma’s trial is my favorite stretch of chapters, so I’m beyond excited. Fingers crossed for a Kenjaku cliffhanger (although I just remembered that Mei Mei scene with Ui Ui in the bed 🥴)
Tumblr media
I MISS todo. Before Gojo was unsealed, I remember posting something about how Nobara and him were characters that made it seem like things could be okay and generally give some lighthearted levity. Todo is similar for me, in that his appearance brings a lot of hope and confidence. That said, that’s exactly why I’m not too surprised none of these characters are involved in the story, but I still think we’re way overdue for an actual update on Nobara and Todo. I don’t want their status to be an afterthought at the end of the series or never even touched upon. There’s even Nita’s brother in the recent chapters, but no Todo!
Todo is a fantastic mentor for Yuuji. I’ve already talked about this, but Yuki’s influence shows a lot once you know more about her character. In that way, it’s beautiful seeing him pass that along to Yuuji with his own interpretations and will.
Kinda continuing that, but with Yuki being his mentor, it did remind me of episode 5 of this season, both with Todo and Yuki’s ‘advice’ to Yuuji and Geto, and seeing Geto and Yuuji’s ideals and beliefs be challenged to a breaking point. I love how the anime portrays this—Geto makes his decision, whereas Yuuji’s shadows are still flickering when Todo talks about how they should approach the deaths of their comrades and that Yuuji doesn’t have to fully form a choice right now.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The VOICE ACTING!! Mahito’s VA outdid himself. He’s such an incredible villain and that came across in his voice cracking while berating Yuuji, then his quiet, serious moments. Mahito’s always been a perfect contrast to Yuuji and I love how explosive he gets around him. The VA does great in making Mahito so evil, intelligent, and childish at the same time.
I am obsessed once again with the animators making the line art sketchier to show Yuuji’s emotions!! The range of art from scenes like this to Miwa’s scene was amazing. While there’s been a few times where I preferred the manga in how the show was adapted, I endlessly love how experimental the animators get, since it creates beautiful moments like this entire episode.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Also I love the incorporation of the city shot from the first Jujustu Kaisen opening with the title card. That, and adding in the physical location of the ending for this arc at the end of the episode with the music over it. Such a fun adaption tbh. I wasn’t a big fan of the OST in the Nanami episode, since it was abrupt and didn’t hit as hard as the manga for me, but this episode’s music and lack of it was everything
I could go on about this episode, but I’ll stop myself. Just needed to do my weekly ramble because I can’t get JJK out of my mind

My full thoughts on the Shibuya Incident
Initially I was kind of hyped. With someone as powerful as Gojo, he had to have something done to him for the story to continue. It literally would be impossible to have high stakes if every fight was "we are waiting patiently for Satoru's big cock to get here so we can jerk him off right now!!!" Its great for narrative tension. Combined with the deaths in the first section/ season one of the anime, it really was good. I love that he got jar Douman'd. (A little meme for NA FGO players to enjoy.)
I fell in love with Geto so the fake Geto stuff is sad, but he is so hot. Geto is literally one of the hottest characters in the verse. I don't care that he isn't really Geto. I'm still down bad for him. Him being Choso's dad and Yuji's mom doesn't even bother me. I know it should. Everything about this man should bother me, but I don't think he knows what is wrong with him. He is cooking with the stove off and no oil in the pan, but that's okay. I'll just cook dinner instead. I'll fix him. Maybe... though for real? He is just a good overall "I'm here for chaos" villain. His plan is nonsensical, but DAMN he is PLANNING! Everything has gone right for him! Even better than he hoped sometimes!!! That's hot. You can't tell me that isn't so sexy. He is so fucked up. I need him biblically. Not sure I want to be experimented on, but with that face? I'd probably say yes.
THE DEATHS............................................ I can't think of a single one that was worth it. Mahito was the only person I wanted to die by arc's end, and it wasn't brutal enough for me to be satisfied.
Rip Hanami and Jogo. Best married couple. Dagon, our little creature, rip. You eating all those people were adorable, you did nothing wrong.
NANAMI 😭 NOBARA 😭 GETO'S DAUGHTERS 😭
At least they can be dead together .....😭
WHY DIDN'T MEI MEI DIE!!!!!!!!!??????? I HATE HER!!!!!! Literally the arc would have been better if she died. I'm not kidding.
Thank goodness Maki didn't die. I just... ahhhh.
The principal dying....................... pointless and stupid. Literally didn't know him and then he died. This felt like Gege wanted to kill off someone else and just did a lottery.
Toji gets a "best dad award!" We love him. 💕
CHOSO IS THE BEST CHARACTER IN THE FRANCHISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOTHING IS BETTER THAN A GUY WHO LOVES HIS BROTHERS AND MOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I NEED THIS MAN!!!!!!!!! I NEED HIM NOW AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
I'd do anything for Choso.
Miwa and Mechamaru (I don't know what his real name is sorry.) ........... honestly nothing hurts worse than that subway scene. I wish they could have been together. It just... I get it but I hate the themes of JJK. I might hate the story too at this point. I just am on the train to see the trainwreak.
Sukuna somehow takes sexy evil and makes it unsexy and boring. I want to like him, but gosh its so hard to. He is really... boring... Just like how it took me a while to realize I was being tsundere for Gojo, I just haven't decided how I feel about him. Like okay him blowing away that many people is hot but he made Yuji cry......I'm just kidding I just feel like he has yet to have any qualities I see as redeeming or interesting, and his psyche isn't as bizarre and confusing as fake Geto so I don't want to put him in an observation chamber and study him. I need some information about him. I have no attachment. I think Hidden Inventory made me like Gojo so if we get anything about Sukuna's past I'll feel some way about him.

my top 10 jujutsu kaisen characters as of now:
[PART 2/2]
[part 1 here]
(manga spoilers ahead)
5. yuta oGOATsu
Tumblr media
at some point he was actually my no.1 but that was when the jjk 0 brain rot(i was obsessed w that volume) was real. he is just THAT dude, idk what to tell you. his growth from a scared little dude to a powerful little dude with an actual will to live was nice to see. i love his relationship with maki, i can't say I ship them but if they end up together then i'd be pretty happy(..so maybe i do ship them? idk). also love his dynamic w gojo. idk i just love him, he's cool. if the current anime season ends on him saying he's there to kill yuji, that'd be fucking hilarious, i live for drama.
Tumblr media
4. maki
Tumblr media
MY GOAT. she had a tough upbringing in that fucked up misogynistic household and said "fuck yall, i'll kill u all" n she did. goal-oriented. joking aside, i love her dynamic w her sister mai (great character). i wish she had a better relationship w her bcs they used to be so cute growing up but nevertheless, despite their anger and frustration, their love for each other never dwindled n u know what? that's how sisters are. that particular chapter w mai has to be one of my favorites. the parallel w toji is smth that i also really like. her story is sad as hell and i just want her to be happy in the future.
Tumblr media
3. mahito
Tumblr media
mahito being top 3 is a choice but that's just how it is when u have good taste. one of the most entertaining and ,imo, hilarious characters. i've always thought his powers were cool simply because of how creative and adaptable they are. he's childish and extremely dangerous and to me that's a good combo. just a really good villain. my headcanon is that if u play uno with him he'll secretly start eating some of his cards so he'll win.
Tumblr media
2. megumi
Tumblr media
i loved him back when he was constantly getting his ass beat and love him now. seeing his domain expansion for the 1st time had me so hyped i literally got up from my seat when i was watching it lmao. great seeing him learn how to utilize his shadows. also love his relationship w gojo so the current fight in the manga is stressing me out (i'll be mad as hell if he never finds out who his dad is). his friendship w yuji is so pure, i want them to reunite again so bad
Tumblr media
1. sukuna
Tumblr media
my favourite character. he has this kind of confidence one can only have when they'reTHIS powerful. i like that there's no sad backstory trying to humanize him in any way, like no that guy is just straight up evil lmao. his dynamic with uraume has always been so interesting to me and i love watching them interact. he's scary and has no hesitations when it comes to offing people but he's not illogical. it's clear that he values strength (and "true" jujutsu) a lot but at the same time has shown respect towards the curse jogo who is obviously less powerful than him (can't wait to see that fight animated). his relationship with kenjaku is kind of interesting. idk why but i never thought they would be cool like that lmao. his DE, malevolent shrine, is the coolest DE imo. he's just so fascinating to me and it's very entertaining seeing just how strong his presence is. one of my favourite earlier scenes is him taking over yuji in ep.4 or 5 and the special grade just fucking shaking from fear before he even did anything lmao. also interesting how he didn't seem to have intentions of killing that curse, not until the curse tried to fight. he dislikes when people don't "know their place" which is evident when mahito went into his domain twice (he was also cool w the idea of him and mahito laughing at itadori so it's not like he kills curses for no reason, i feel like as long a curse doesn't try to do too much and shows him respect, he'll probably won't kill them..? lmao) idk i just want to crawl into his head and explore his mind. ah and he's also a foodie 😁

my husband is gone let's finish this depressing ass shit
oh man we're getting nobara's backstory she's in trouble...
i've seen fanart off her with an eyepatch so i think i know where this is going
but....tbh it seems like this series is kinda just pain this arc and forafter judging by people's reactions to the manga
wait
is she actually for real dead
are you serious
oh no more flashback this is not a good sign
LMAO MEGUMI PLS
he panik
oh ok no time to laugh we back to death
wait how tf can mahito use black flash?
i swear this dude is so stupid overpowered
fucking plot armor to the max
TODO
i have never been so happy to see this fucker
yuji :(
todo :)
oh thank god if someone says there's a slim chance a protagonist can live in an anime they def will nobara's not fucked!
HELL YEAH YUJI BLACK FLASH HIS ASS
FOR NANAMIN
oh this is sad but i am actually really happy that mechamaru and miwa got to talk to eachother one last time
bro you really think sukuna is gonna let you touch itadori's soul?
todo using the power of rainbows??? rainbow flash?
kinda gay lol
(i'm kidding that ruled)
ok fuck plot armor, mahito has straight up plot jutsu
like i honestly forgot how his powers work and do not understand why he can just keep doing shit
three episodes left!
god itadori and todo gotta like, rip this guy's jaw off or something i cannot stand to hear him speak another fucking word
like i don't even find the fight particularly interesting anymore at this point
the narration is kinda weird tbh it's always kind of an awkward device
oh great is todo dead too
um
what?
i have no idea what just happened but it ruled
oh yeah of course mahito has a new even better power
'an arm is merely a decoration' lmaooo todo
HELL YEAH
FUCKIN KILL HIM
YEAH BITCH YOU OUTTA MONSTERS
ohhh poor yuji kinda dead inside
is this yuji's domain expansion?
uh???????? what?
oh great we're gonna have to deal with lobotomy brain now? can't we just end this night?
lol of course kusakabe survived
oh now we gotta bring non-fantastical consequences like the economy into this???
choso not dead? i'm actually pretty interested in what's going on with him so i wouldn't mind seeing more of him
dammit if not-geto eats mahito does that mean he can use him again later? cause i never wanna see that bitch again
yes this is truly what i wanted. more curbstomp battles. more characters i know fucking dying. fantastic.
oh ok well at least the kyoto students aren't dead yet
??????????
ok this kind of explains some odd spoiler jokes i have seen..kinda?
fuck em up choso!!
(i am pretty sure he cannot defeat kumo pieceofshit because he is obviously the series villain, but still)
i both hate and love kusakabe
so ice lady works for kumo pieceofshit? man is this ever gonna end?
oh it's the person with the least emotional intelligence in all of the show
i guess i'll get to see her do something besides say all the wrong things to geto
man i hope choso doesn't die he's just gotta last one more episode!
damn japan really is cursed like that?
well now i just have no idea what is happening
or, honestly, what this asshole's goal actually is?
oh noooo megumi's sister
welp
man they really went full "nothing will ever be the same"
i think i might regret watching this
or at least the second season
yuta?
rika's still hanging around to help?
wait WHAT gojo is being blamed?
so i guess maki is dead and we're not even gonna acknowledge that?
and nothing on megumi or nobara?
what a fucking downer fuck this show

bro mahito was such a good villain like he was the first villain that genuinely pissed me off.,, his writing is soo good i love it so bad but like comeee ONNNN
DADDYJAKU IS CRAZY WORK but i sgree full heartedly
pls im doubling over in pain godd GODDD i luv jjk analyses especially with megumi. no matter how bad i love gojo, megumi will always be my favoeite with his writing. my brother was super annoyed that he kept summoning mahoraga, kept flashbacking to sukuna sayinf "thats kinda a waste of your talents right?" and kept flashbacking to gojo saying hes not using all his potential ... but thats the point!!!!!!!!! hes falling behind compared to yuji and he knows it ... and hes super depressed and hes willing to summon mahoraga so much because he literally does NOT care about his life in the slightest that man actively wants to kill himself... UGHHH AND HIM BEING CALLED POTENTIAL MAN LIKE DID U GUYS EVEN READ SLASH WATCH THE SHOW...... THATS THE POINT hes like a foil of yuji AND a parallel to geto.
yghhh yuji sarcrifuce would tear me apart like i literally gave birth to yuji hes my baby my sonnn ... but i cant lie that would be a great ending
plot twist gojo comes back talking about some "im for real real!" LMFAOOOOOO jk ... as mych as i truth him to come back i think his like character development and arc was at a good enough point for him to die. like nanami's character did seem fully fleshed oht when he died but nobara (at the time) didnt seem that developed when gege killed her. but shes back baby so maybe we'll see more of her (in the remaining 5 chapters ........)
YES OMG UGH the gojo 30 questions was like the smallest glimpse we had of the gojo clan. what do you MEAN his parents are still alive and everythint TELL ME MOREEEUHHH..
did u see getos mom was on the popularity list thing rven tho we've never seen him LMFAOOO i just know shes bad asf
oh my god imb so mad. i wrote up a full lengthy response but i crashed and everythkng got deleted. ill type up what i remember but its pretty bad 😭 i was cooking before it gor deleted
ANYWAYS
i never actually thought of megumi that way holy shit… esp with the fight between toji and him in shibuya… like father: 0 cursed energy, no weapon vs. son: the 10 shadows technique and all his shikigami and he still “lost”. megumi would probably win if he couldve apply himself better. he def feels left behind just like geto did when gojo surpassed him quickly thats horrible
i feel so much more sympathetic to megumi now i feel bad 😢
ALSO ABOUT HOW HES DEPRESSED AND EVERYTHING AND WANTS TO DIE BECAUSE OF SUKUNA INHABITING HIM AND USING MEGUMI AS A WEAPON
i do also think gojos character arc is pretty finished. like i want him to come back but also he feels completed. he was the strongest but he lost (mommyraga saved sukunas ass) . gojo finally did what no one thought could be done, and he could no longer be used as a weapon (not cool yuta 😡) and he died on the same day that geto did + on the most romantic day.. i think gojo should finally truely rest now (with his shitty ass sleeping schedule he needs it)
to add on, gojo killed his best friend and had to watch as his adopted son was used as a weapon to kill him he needs to lay down and sleep. his whole sense of family too is pretty messed up w the clan things and also riko (i think they have a sibling bond but also it seems like he doesnt fully like her but that might just be siblings) and everyone who came close to him died
more things about the clan workings would have been cool too!1 the story only sorta fleshed out zenin but what about kamo? or gojo? like what would gojos parents think about gojo dying and stuff like that? the clans are supposed to be like a big part of jujutsu society but i feel like they barely get any screentime. did he love his parents? did his parents love him? did anyone love him as a kid? how did the clans clash back then?? like PPPLLLEEASSE WHAT ABOUT NORITOSHI AND HIS CLAMMN WHY
my point is gege is leaving so much open like the merger€? more character interactions would definitely allow people to feel better… what about cursed tools backstories? cursed speech clan? international sorcerers? i know everyone was like jjk is dragging on and everything but 5 chapters could not resolve these plotppoints
10 spinoff series with all slice of life fluff now PLS

Chapter 136
Just... what the everloving fuck is this chapter. That is a huge twist. I mean I since long have a feeling that Fushiguro’s sister will be a pretty important plot point, but to think that it comes up now. God, this is a downright a set up for pain and heartbreak and I... I need to lay down but I need to write...
The brain, the soul, the cursed technique, the not-Kamo actually has lived maybe more than a millennial ago. So many things I have thought before dumped and packed into one single chapter. Gege, what the everloving fuck
Under cut is very long.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Two special-grade jujutsushis, on different ideals, clashing. This can’t be good.
Tumblr media
So, Tengen’s barrier acts like some kind of amplifier?? To make human that can optimize the use and to ‘concentrate’ cursed energy.
Tumblr media
Kusouzu is possibly a kind of experimental failure for him, trying to make non-jujutsushi into jujutsushi??
Tumblr media
And he actually wants to absorb Mahito and co from the beginning - and that’s why he is cooperating with them. Mahito especially.
Tumblr media
So, he will make a true natural selection for human jujutsushi, huh? The strong will win and the weak will be eliminated. Darwin will be proud of you.
This is direct contrast to Original Getou during his youth, who said that the strong exist to protect the weak. But also aligned with strayed Getou who want to make a world exclusive for jujutsushi.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
WHAT THE HEEEELL???? Goddammit, Gege to make a villain this good??? I never read a mastermind character as well written as Getwo before. I’m amazed and scared
Tumblr media
TSUMIIIIKIIIIIIIIII ONEE-SAANNNN 😭😭😭😭😭😭
Just this one page makes me crying so hard. I can’t even begin to imagine the heartbreak and the pain Megumi will have to face in the future. The possibility -- Megumi will have to kill Tsumiki, or Megumi watching Tsumiki and Itadori fight; the two persons he most cared for.
I’m--- I’m.... GODDAMMIT GEGE
Tumblr media
Another interesting thing to be noted. I once talk about how soul are probably located in the brain -- and it has a central play on how someone able to sense curse and manipulate curse energy. And look at Tsumiki’s curse mark - on her forehead -- right on the direction of forebrain. One of the main function of forebrain -- more specifically cerebrum -- is for emotional processing, and cursed energy is said to stem from emotion.
And then this chapter happens. So yeah, ‘soul’ probably is centered in the brain.
Part of his plan is to probably to use Getou’s curse manipulation ability to extract cursed technique, then imbued it onto a non-jujutsushi person using Mahito’s technique. And that’s why he want to Getou’s body and Mahito.
(Wait, when and how even Mahito and co appears for the first time? For him to be able to manipulate human to this extent, Mahito must have had to be appeared for a while. At least during the duration one or two years ago)
Tumblr media
OH FUCK OH FUCK OH FUCK OH FUCK OH FUCK OH FUCK OH FUCK
The chaos of Shibuya is really nothing compared to this. The real chaos is beginning now.
Tumblr media
So yeah, he has live for more than a thousand years ago. It is possible that he has known Sukuna before Sukuna is sealed.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
First of all, is his plan aligned with Sukuna’s - if we assume that both of them have already meet before Sukuna was sealed. But then again, Sukuna is not one to cooperate with others - in a win-win sense - so, it’s most likely Sukuna’s plan is different altogether.
Then secondly, what is he expecting out of Itadori? It’s all very foreboding.
Tumblr media
At least we know that he expects Itadori to be able to ingest all twenty of Sukuna’s fingers. But what about after that? Is it possible Itadori is his ‘main sample’ in this wild, overly chaotic experiment more than a thousand years in making? Damn, my brain is going haywire from overthinking.
Wait, COULD HE BE THE ONE WHO MANIPULATE ITADORI’S BODY SO ITADORI CAN HOUSE SUKUNAA??? Itadori has already heightened physical strength before he ingested Sukuna’s finger, so it is very possible that his body was also ‘tweaked’. And he also seemingly knows how Itadori’s body work to be able to incarnate and suppress Sukuna.
And finally:
Tumblr media
A goddamn great chapter. Can’t wait for next chapter!
Goodbye for now, Gojo-sensei. Releasing Gojo from his box has now become a key to end this madness. We’ll see on the last chapter of this arc next week.
And I’m basically just Kusakabe:

REVIEW | My Thoughts on Jujutsu Kaisen
MENTIONS: Great Pretender spoilers, Demon Slayer spoilers, Assassination Classroom spoilers, lost potential (please don't at me, these are just personal opinions)
How I feel about Jujutsu Kaisen is close to how I feel about Great Pretender, a joyful ride but I feel like they could have leaned a lot more into the potential that they had set-up for themselves. The other recent shounen anime that I've watched Demon Slayer that I guess gives off a similar vibe and quite possibly on the same god-tier level of animation and music. BUT, I think it is better than Jujutsu Kaisen overall and there are a few reasons why so I will be making comparisons between the two quite a bit.
PLOT
There are many things that I find quite fun about Jujutsu Kaisen. I think the world-building in this anime is pretty well-done, I liked that different sorcerers are of different grades and that the grades of the cursed spirits can change actually quite quickly with each updated reassessments of each situation. I absolutely loved how strategic the fights were, the world-building is wonderfully clear and for the most-part, easy to follow and fight scenes were well strategised rather than just blatant fighting. This was so extremely well-done I cannot stress enough how amazing that was. In this particular arena, I think I enjoyed the strategy of the action more in Jujutsu Kaisen than Demon Slayer.
However I must say that the emotional weight that I felt after watching each arc in Demon Slayer was a lot deeper.
Jujutsu Kaisen I just really enjoyed the fighting and the characters' intellect and abilities while Demon Slayer I was rooting for someone or something to happen, I was emotionally invested. I think that it was kind of cool to have recurring villains coming back in different forms and different settings, I think it is smart for general world building to have a few characters to focus on and therefore really savour in their growth and it's really exciting to see how battles evolve with different villains and sorcerers. There were many times I was in fact physically jawdroppingly reacting to what was happening on the screen which really goes to show that there are many epic moments in this anime.
Tumblr media
I also think it's really fun to have it in an educational setting and the potential corruption within the educational setting itself. It sort of reminds me a little like Assassination Classroom in that respect. Jujutsu Kaisen was quite interesting because when Kyoto Sister School Exchange Event arc, I literally thought it was going to be a bit of a filler arc since we just wrapped up on such a crazy battle with Mahito, but then for that to turn into a killing mission then hijacked by the cursed spirits, it was plot twists after plot twists. But I think this is something that I didn't quite like about the show. I felt like moments that held great potential for deeper developments were glossed over. How interesting that the there was corruption in the school? Why not keep going with that for a few episodes? Why was it interrupted by the cursed spirits as much as it was a plot twist?
Looking back, it felt like me listening to something I was just getting myself into on radio and then someone changing the channel to something else that's good and then just as I am about to get into that, someone is changing the channel again.
It's a bit frustrating. I feel like many moments they had such a good set-up of interesting themes and concepts, why not lean more into them? I know that potentially the overall vibe of the show wasn't trying to be too serious or a deep-dive into certain themes but they just had such a good set-up, I would have really enjoyed it if they did.
CHARACTER
I like the duality of an antagonist and a protagonist in the same body although that's not something that hasn't been done before but nevertheless I was curious to see where it goes. I don't know if the show intended to have a birds-eye view of characterisation rather than us being drawn to any particular character but I found Yuji Itadori really .... unexciting. Like I know he's supposed to be more of a chill, care-free sort of guy but he's main drive a lot of the time is "he wants to lead people to their right deaths", which is literally just another way of saying he wants people to live long fulfilling lives. Once again, they had such an interesting set-up in that cursed womb arc where Megumi mentioned "what if you saved someone who later killed someone else?" and then that was touched on only once at the end of the season. This could have been something that gave more character growth to Yuji Itadori rather than simply 'having to kill on the job' as his growth point. I don't know, I just personally found that point to be more interesting. But once again, things that could be good are not leaned into very well. Gojo says he wants to reform the system but we hardly see him teach, he kind of just comes in and then leaves on missions. The three special grade just randomly dies at the end when we literally didn't hear about them at all until the last few episodes. Special grades just don't feel that special, it feels like anyone with some ounce of power can kind of reach there is sort of what I got from the 24 eps. Character growth throughout the show is definitely there but a bit scattered I must say and I don't know if it's because the studio is trying to pack like all the characters growth into one 24-ep series but it was kind of poorly paced. We got some development of Nobara in the 3rd episode which I felt I was smacked with too early but then we got every other side student characters' development at the Kyoto Sister School Exchange Event arc which was cool but then I was just like, I don't really care about these characters, why am I getting background info on them? Like don't get me wrong, they were great characters, I loved the duality between the sisters, the fights between the women characters especially. I personally wished that character development were more slowly revealed to us with a few interesting truth bombs. I loved that Nobara had some moments of epicness towards the end though, that was really awesome.
Tumblr media
Characters that I think were such missed opportunities were Junpei, he would have been so interesting as a recurring character, doesn't matter on which side he exists on but so sad that he passed. Once again, I wished his passing affected Itadori more. Mahito is my favourite villain, even more than Sukuna, he's so playful and cunning. Sukuna, unless we get more sequels, hasn't really made me feel any particular way about him other than that he seems really obnoxious. This is where I feel like Demon Slayer really shined through. the Demons, especially with each arc, and that one particular scene where Michael Jackson slaughter a bunch of his lower moon demons, oh my goodness, it made me really scared for our cinnamon roll Tanjirou! While in Jujutsu Kaisen, nothing really feels like at stake. Yes, Itadori's life is always at stake, people are being affected by the curses in each arc but literally the only character I sort of kind of cared about was Junpei. That whole set-up dynamic between Mahito being evil but also kind of a mentor, Junpei a lost individual, his friendship with Itadori (which feels like the most organic friendship out of any other character btw) and the Itadori having to decide whether to kill him.....that could have been a whole anime altogether and I would have loved that. A lot of the humour is slapstick, which is not really my kind of humor, Aoi Todo, I get that him asking "what kind of woman are you into?" is part of his characterisation, but it got way too much screentime. I get that his bond with Itadori was pivotal in Itadori's elevation in abilities but in general, if this is part of a character's personality, it sort of taints that character for me. Like without it, Aoi Todo would have still been such a badass sorcerer. Demon Slayer's humour wasn't really my cup of tea until maybe the training episodes at Rose Mansion, I thought those were hilarious.
SOUND
Opening and Ending music is absolutely fantastic. All four OP and EDs are so catchy and fun to listen to, especially the 1st ED. OMG, it just makes me want to dance, it feels like one of those animated tiktok dance feels. I definitely did want to say that the general vibe of the OPs and EDs give the anime a bit of a contemporary Kpop vibe???
Tumblr media
The background music is well constructed and pairs with the fighting scenes quite nicely. It is usually also what I noticed to be the first thing used to reset the mood of a new scene e.g. from a funny tone to a serious one. I can hear that the music is well thought through, the main theme of the opening (I think?) is interweaved in pivotal moments of battle scenes and the overall musical aesthetics blends well with the visual aesthetics of the anime. Genres of rap and hip-pop can be heard as influences in some of the tracks! Voice acting is pretty good, I highly enjoyed Mahito's voice, I think it's so wonderfully sadistic. I think the voice actor did actually get some recognition or awards over that role I think! Inumaki Toge's voice actor must have had the time of his life reading out ramen ingredients and getting paid HAHHA
ANIMATION
Is god-tier. I'm not usually one to be into action sequences, but I was honestly mesmerised by the action scenes in this anime. The pacing is so perfect and perfectly synced with moments of dialogue where we get to understand the intentions and thoughts behind the characters. If it were all action, I would have gotten bored easily but the pacing is just so perfect. I think it may have been Attack on Titan that revolutionised this CGI and camera angle with 2D animation but now we are seeing Jujutsu Kaisen perfecting it. It's truly absolutely incredible the impact that you feel of every move, every punch, every land, every wound. It would also make a hell of a drinking game for every time the camera shakes from impact haha. I wanted to point out that I really enjoyed the use of negative colours in the colour pallets of the anime and the overall blue-ish hue. It gave such a cool, badass vibe to the anime. I'm just gonna get this out there, Gojo Satoru is incredibly handsome and that's just a fact. I am also a huge fan of Megumi's eyelashes. All in all, I think Jujutsu Kaisen is a very fun anime, I think it's for people who enjoys a lot of good action, good animation, good music and just something enjoyable and consumable. But like Great Pretender, I felt like there were just a few too many missed opportunities. If there are later sequels, I am interested to see how the characters develop and how the villains also develop!! I know that a movie just recently dropped but it's a side story not a main story? Might check that out!
Overall: 🥔🥔🥔🥔🥔🥔🥔🥔🍠/10

My Opinions On Jujutsu Kaisen That Literally Nobody Asked For
I finished binging the Jujutsu Kaisen manga in 48 hours. I am having some expresso, because I’m depresso.
Here’s a Sad Stitch to show you how I feel.
(And of course, warnings for discussion/ranting/kinda meta on the Jujutsu Kaisen manga below the cut, so please read at your own discretion!)
Tumblr media
Sukuna is truly a Bastard™, along with Mahito.
I just- *cries in Shibuya Arc aka PAIN*
Tumblr media
*Pulls out megaphone* Nanamin.
Tumblr media
That’s all folks. Thanks for reading, have a nice day!
.
.
.
.
.
(Just kidding!)
Ugh, NANAMIN 👏 WHAT 👏 A 👏 MAN 😭 😭 😭 😭 I became a certified Nanami stan once I saw the tired business man aesthetic (plus, his words about how work is shit? Truer words have never been spoken), and his little speech about adults and responsibility, how children no matter their circumstances are still children, and should be given the opportunity to act as such. Because, YES, FINALLY, A RESPONSIBLE ADULT WITH THE VOICE OF AN ANGEL aka the voice of Kenjiro Tsuda
Anyways, I love how the Jujutsu Kaisen manga shows that adults can handle things, and that is A-OKAY!!! If Jujutsu Tech follows the Japanese school system, Yuji is a first year in high school, so he’s probably 15 or 16 years old, way too early to go through Shibuya level of trauma (though, I think anybody is too young to have to go through what happened to Yuji in Shibuya).
Children should have the privilege to be children. That doesn’t mean coddling, it means that children should have plenty of time to experience new things, enjoy being a child, and I’m so happy Nanami says this!
In conclusion, Nanami deserves happiness and a vacation to Kuantan 🥺
Tumblr media
YOSHINO JUNPEI!!! He and his mom deserve happiness, they’re both precious beans. I didn’t even realize Junpei was dead until 5+ chapters later. But it was too late, for I had already gotten attached!!! *cue curse worthy screeching*
I was so excited for Junpei to join Jujutsu Tech, too! I had this whole headcanon of Junpei being HAPPY again, talking about movies with Yuji, interacting with the other first years, him seeing Panda for the first time!!! The thing was, back then, it wasn’t headcanon! I thought it was going to be facts, until Gege said ‘lol, you thought, peasant’, before spitting on any hope of mine for a happy Junpei.
(On a completely different tangent, I would be SO psyched if I got to meet a talking panda, we could act out all of “Kung Fu Panda” together, especially the chopstick scene, and maybe we could go to a zoo, just to mess with the zookeepers about a honest to god PANDA walking on its hind legs around the zoo)
‘If Junpei had lived’ is a phrase I think about a lot, and I think that is why the “Young Fish and Reverse Punishment” arc  was so crucial to the story and yet so tragic.
Junpei has so much potential to be happy, and then he didn’t get the happiness he deserves. It really sets the tone, the high stakes to the whole manga, for we see the amount of damage a curse inflicts on somebody who could be in a situation like Junpei.
As the readers, we understand the reasoning behind Junpei’s ideology, sympathizing with him as we see what horrible torment he has to go through. That very first scene of this arc, where the bullies made him eat the cockroach and BURNED HIM WITH A LIT CIGARETTE, and the teacher who saw all of this happening, JUST TURNS AWAY!!! It was haunting. But finally, finally, we get a light at the tunnel for Junpei in the form of our lord and saviour, the cinnamon roll of cinnamon rolls, Itadori Yuji. HERE is a person who is able to connect with Junpei, who wouldn’t dismiss how Junpei’s circumstances or feelings. and then Junpei dies.
(look at this cute face, how could you Mahito?!)
Tumblr media
Also, the symbolism in the opening? The Junpei fish ENLARGING??? HNKDJSFLJDSF JUNPEI NOOO-
Also ALSO (sorry this is the last ‘also’), did we ever learn if Junpei was a sorcerer, or was he a window that possessed enough talent to summon a shikigami? I at first thought Junpei was a window, since he was able to see Mahito, and was hoping that we’d get a more detailed explanation of what windows actually do. (Do they just wander around Tokyo, or wherever they live, and act all ‘La Dee Da, just living my regular, normal life, oOOHHH is that a special grade? Tell that to the sorcerers, maybe I’ll get a bonus!’ Is their life basically a demented version of Pokemon Go? I have so many questions-)
Tumblr media
All the villains were well written, and had super cool character designs. My top three villains other than Sukuna, my top three villains are Geto, and Mahito.
Geto’s backstory in the Hidden Inventory arc was so incredibly written, I especially liked the way Gege wrote how Getou’s righteous ideals gradually deteriorating throughout the Hidden Inventory arc as he realizes the depth of the curses of humanity, the dark hatred the “weak” hold towards things they have no understanding of. (i.e. Riko’s death by the Star Religious Group, Haibara’s death, and finally the villagers ignorant treatment and abuse towards Geto’s twins, Mimiko and Nanako, beating and imprisoning them for “causing” the deaths of the villagers) Geto’s chilling charisma and the reasoning behind his actions as a villain makes him a top tier villain in my eyes.
Tumblr media
As for Mahito, I love to hate him, and that why I think he is a great antagonist. I guess I’ve just been seeing a lot of villains that because of their tragic backstories, the readers or characters sympathize with them and rationalising their actions, turning the villain into a flaky antihero of lesser impact. It’s very refreshing to have a villain who is just pure evil.
I think that Mahito fulfilled his purpose as an antagonist very well; his twisted ideals on the worth of human life foiling Itadori’s own ideals of giving others a “proper death”, the curse making Yuji continuously adapt both physically and mentally to defeat him. Physically, by learning new spells and techniques to defeat Mahito, such as the Black Flash (and possibly his own cursed technique! The weird “Past That Never Happened” in the fights with Choso and Todo), or mentally, by questioning his ideals, such as what exactly is a “proper death”, after Yuji had to kill the transfigured humans.
(Ew look at this worm.)
Tumblr media
Some Honorable Mentions of Good Villains IMO: Jogo, because I find his ideals of curses, who stem from the true emotions of hatred and fear, being superior yet suppressed by the emotionally faceted humans is definitely fascinating, and eerily reminds me of Geto’s hatred towards non sorcerers.  Dagon was pretty cute in his Cursed Womb stage, and I really liked Hanami because the eldritch environmentalist aesthetic is pretty coolio  👌 .
Tumblr media
How do Inumaki children learn to speak if all the adults barely talk, only saying inane words like “salmon” and NOT ACTUALLY meaning “salmon, the fish” but an adult secret code for a definition that you might not even know?? Or do the adults just charmspeak the kids, like “SPEAK small child, and have full language comprehension, O tiny ball of pudge!” and boom! Babies talking in complete sentences, maybe understanding weird adult customs. Will the child know when then adult actually mean salmon, the fish, and not the code word salmon?
Let’s assume that Inumaki clan children from learning to speak to four or six years old will be able to speak normally until the clan technique sets in (because that’s when the jjk wiki says cursed techniques kick in). How do you explain to a toddler: “Hey sweetie, happy birthday, have a present! Oh, by the way, those cool tattoos of yours mean that you can’t talk normally to anybody anymore, EVER. Only using these specific words as code to mean these specific meanings, restricting any chance of normal interactions with non-sorcerers if by some inane chance you DON’T want to become a child soldier jujutsu sorcerer. Welp, guess you have to become a jujutsu sorcerer now! Make sure to restrict your choice of words, you could kill somebody! Have fun playing with your Legos honey, welcome to adult life.” Like, EXCUSE ME?
You can’t tell mw a four year old is expected to understand that (or didn’t kill somebody by accident via cursed speech. That MUST have happened at least once).
This is all an elaborate way of saying please give us Inumaki backstory, I’m very curious.
Tumblr media
Anyways, thank you for reading my post, and I hope you have a nice day!

Evening Festival: JJK : Silence before Strom!
Am I writing this little too late? Yes! Am I writing this because I find Muta hot? Yes! Am I writing this because I need to scream into the void? Yes! Am I writing this because I simp for Miwa? Yes! Yes! Yes! and Yes! So without further ado...
Gege Akutami does this thing where he will put a short few chapters' arcs in between mammoth arcs as a breather, which I appreciate! We will need this silence before the storm that is Shibuya Incident. Not to misunderstand, this silence comes with its own squall! Between Hidden Inventory and Shibuya Incident, there is this arc, the Evening Festival Arc!
We get to see Mechamaru shine bright in this arc. Kokichi Muta, that is the name of Ultimate Mechamaru's human(form?). And Muta actually gets to harm Mahito substantially. But he is a mole at the end of the day. However, he is more like a double agent (that will come to play a role in Shibuya Incident).
Tumblr media
To his credit, Muta does try to contact Gojo, so Muta was not totally a villain. He was playing double agents, just like Snape. What is it with double agents, they always die for their love interest without confessing? Why? And they leave us with an unresolved storyline. Then, we fans have to go to create an alternate timeline for them, why? Why authors, you do that? Sorry for that small rant but I have to say that.
Evening Festival arc is small only of 3 chapters (Chapter 80 - 82). Because there are so few chapters in this arc there is not much for me to point out. However, there are important things that I want to point out.
And with Chapter 80 we kick into action, the reading of this chapter is quite fluent. I don't know how to put it into words. but to put it frankly, it was easy for me to read action scenes in this chapter. With Gege Akutami's art, it gets hard for me to read his action scenes but this beginning was early perfect!
And I find 'Tuna' Mahito funny! I don't know why don't ask me why I just find it funny! That's it!
Tumblr media
So there is my favorite writer (Javed Akthar), he was talking about Mr. India (a great movie, you should check out), and he said that a writer has to be a cruel human. He basically said to serve the story a writer has to take harsh steps aka killing characters so it would move the storyline forward! And my dear god, does Gege do that so fucking well!!!!!
Gege killing Mechamaru in this arc has a direct impact on the "Shibuya Incident" arc and but also in the future "The Culling game" arc. And not just simple moving pawn in grand scheme things but they have a major impact on our main characters.
Giving a glimpse of hope and immediately taking that away, it is now has become the specialty of Gege Akutami! Miwa talking about the possibility of meeting Muta in human form (the way Muta wanted) and we cut to Muta dead and bloodied. Why? that was as heart-wrenching as Rika's death. That scene right there the remainder of 'writer has to be a cruel human.' things. Gege Akutami is absolutely a cruel writer. He does deliver something as sweet as Miwa, with her pure wish to meet her friend and in the next panel, we get to see that exact same Muta bloodied and dead. Tell me that is not a definition of cruelty.
Tumblr media
If you have come this far then thank you!
