I remember when I was a kid all the Bill Cipher fan art used the human twink design rather than the canon triangle design.
This led me to think I missed an episode of Gravity Falls that revealed that Bill Cipher was once human and in the episode he was able to return permanently to his human form.
I know it sounds stupid but at the time he had only had a major role in two episodes at that point. There wasn't really anything proving me wrong.

Okay, this may seem weird, but I've been thinking of making a series where a female (or the reader) aims to be a Queen through effort and hard work.
It also includes Greek mythology, but I wanna make it as accurate as possible.
Ex. Demeter is a loving mother who isn't a helicopter parent and cares a lot about Kore/Persephone. She also gives her freedom while looking out for her.
I don't like how Leto is portrayed in Lore Olympus, so I'm making her somewhat strict but still allows her two children Apollo and Artemis to be themselves. I heard she's one of the deities associated with motherhood so that's the reason.
Again, don't like how Nyx is written in Lore Olympus. She's a powerful Primordial Goddess, the personification of the night, and is feared by Zeus himself. I'm writing her as a protective mother who loves her children and is willing to fight for them when necessary.
Apollo.... God, I hate how he's written in Lore Olympus. WHYYYYYY?! HE'S ONE OF MY FAVOURITES!! For this, he's a bisexual god who is confident and social, but he isn't an narcissistic asshole who thinks is better than anyone.
With every god I'm including, they're gonna wear jewellery with their symbols on them. Ex. Hera's gonna wear a necklace with peacock feathers on them, Aphrodite will wear a crown of roses in her hair along with a seashell hairclip and a dove broth, Apollo's obviously gonna wear a laurel wreath on his head, along with a hyacinth on his clothes (If you know, you know.)
Basically, I'll try include as many accurate things as possible because I wanna stay true to the myths.

hey btw if you're in the USA at  2:20 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Oct. 4, they're testing the emergency broadcast system. your phone is probably going to make a really loud noise, even if it's on silent. there's a backup date on the 11th if they need to postpone it.
if you're not in a safe situation and have an extra phone, you should turn that phone completely off beforehand.
additionally, if you're like me, and are easily startled; i recommend treating it like a party. have a countdown or something. be surrounded by your loved ones. take the actions you personally need to take to make yourself safe.
i have already seen mockery towards any person who feels nervous about this. for the record, it completely, completely valid to have "emergency broadcast sounds" be an anxiety trigger. do not let other people make fun of you for that. emergency sounds are legitimately engineered to make us take action; those of us with high levels of anxiety and/or neurodivergence are already pre-disposed to have a Bad Time. sometimes it is best to acknowledge that the situation will be triggering for some, and to prepare for that; rather than just saying "well that's stupid, it's just a test."
"loud scary sound time" isn't like, my favorite thing, but we can at least try to prevent some additional anxiety by preparing for it. maybe get yourself a cake? noise cancelling headphones? the new hozier album? whatever helps. love u, hope you're okay. we are gonna ride it out together.

I love libraries.
I'm browsing the WWI shelves (as you do) and notice a very old book about the war. I glance at the first pages that talk about how one day the war will be over and we'll look at this place and not see any signs of the battlefield.
Then it hits me. And I check the publishing date.
This book was printed before the war's end. Not written. Printed. The physical object was created in 1918, while the war in question was raging and the end was as yet uncertain.
Now I'm standing on the other side of the apocalypse, with this physical link to that era in my hands. I'm living proof that the war did end and life did go on and we can all look at the end of the world as a long-ago memory.
Reading old books is cool enough, connecting our minds and hearts through the ideas of people who lived long ago, but there's something extra profound about holding a copy of the book that comes from the time that it was written. It's a physical link between the past and the present connecting me to those long-ago people. A piece of the past come into the future that gives me the chance to almost take the hand of some long-ago reader, to hold something they could have held, connecting not just mentally but physically to their era, a moment of connection across more than a century.
Excuse me while I go weep.
