Hey guys does anyone know why exactly Todd ended up at Welton??? Because im working on some character sheets and this hc hit me like a truck, it may be my new pretend it’s canon Todd Anderson headcanon. (Trigger warnings for addiction/neglect)
We are all well aware that Todd’s parents don’t seem to have ever paid very much attention to our boy, he is invisible in his own home. Naturally, most kids would act out as a result of this. Keep that in mind for a moment. We also saw in the scene where Charlie brings two girls into the poet’s cave, that Todd is the only one who can stomach drinking the whiskey that the boys pass around. So, what if Todd really did act out? What if in his early years of high school he was drinking/potentially using other substances???? Like, he could have been in a really bad place (early hs rly sucks) closeted gay, in the 50s and starts to drink as a coping mechanism/rebellion against his neglectful parents? Okay bear with me here, what if his parents only looked at him when something really bad happened, things get out of hand and they think the only solution is to send him away, hence landing him at Welton, hence him being the only one to drink the whiskey without coughing.
#i know this doesnt make perfect sense but im a little obsessed with this idea#it just adds so many layers to him/ his personality#i know in the book they may say something about his grades not being high enough in the first two years but idc#dead poets society fandom#dead poets headcanons#todd anderson

“I'm not going.” You replied, your voice firm and your eyes fixated on the math book that sat on the library's desk, trying to avoid the gaze-that you knew you couldn't resist-of the boy sitting in front of you. You heard him sigh as his doe eyes desperately tried to meet yours.
“But everyone is going…you can't miss it.” Kyle replied with his soft voice.
“I've never gone to any of those parties…why do you want me to go to this one so badly?” You spoke, with a noticeable hint of frustration in your voice.
“Because it's the end of the semester…something to celebrate. Plus, it's gonna be epic.” He said with a toothy smile plastered on his face.
“No, thanks. You know I don't roll with those frat boys.” You rolled your eyes, your words coming out harsh and spiteful.
“I'm a frat boy.” He said, raising an eyebrow, clearly confused by your statement.
“Yea- but you're…different.” You sighed.
It was true. He was indeed different from the frat boys he was friends with. You and Kyle met in Junior year of high school. You were paired up by your physics teacher, who suggested you could tutor Kyle, that at the time had terrible grades. You two clicked instantly, he was fun and outgoing, and you enjoyed spending time with him. Kyle had grown to be incredibly thankful for your help, in fact, he insisted that you were the one who made him passionate about physics, the subject that he used to despise and that now was his main department in college. Although he could seem like the usual asshole frat boy, Kyle was sweet and caring. You knew it, and no one could’ve made you change your mind on that. He was simply a sweetheart.
“Listen, I know my mates may seem rude or not well-behaved…but trust me, as a leader, I established some rules for them. They won’t act crazy, I promise.” His kind voice brought you back from your thoughts. You sighed, thinking about it.
“Brennan’s hosting the party in his summer mansion…it’s next to the beach- it’s so cool, I swear. I-I’ll take you there! I can pick you up and take you home…” He added, wiggling his eyebrows.
“Please?” He said in an adorable voice, his puppy eyes looking hopeful into yours.
You sighed, you didn’t wanna go, but it was utterly impossible to say no to him.
“Fine.”
‧˚₊•┈┈┈┈୨୧┈┈┈┈•‧₊˚⊹
You were touching up your makeup. You were ready for the “big night” Kyle was so excited about. You decided to wear something a bit more revealing, a black minidress, because-okay, you didn’t wanna go- but you couldn’t be annoyed and unfashionable all at once.
While taking a final look in the mirror, you heard a knock on your door. You grabbed your bag and opened the door to see Kyle-in his usual frat sweater-smiling at you. He looked at you up and down, scaring you slightly. What if he didn’t like the dress or how it looked on you?
Fortunately, all your concerns faded once you saw his smile widening.
“Woah…you look beautiful. Seriously…you’re stunning.” He said, he couldn’t keep his eyes off you, he wasn’t used to seeing you like this.
You felt your cheeks heat up at the compliments.
“Thank you…” You gave him an awkward smile and bit your lip.
“Shall we get going?” You suggested, to which he nodded. He took your hand and helped you step down the porch. Kyle led you to his car, and opened the door for you with a cute grin.
The ride was calm, you chit-chatted here and there about random stuff, and you swore you saw him staring at your body a few times. After 15 minutes or so, you eventually arrived at the party. Kyle was right, the mansion was beautiful and it faced the sea. You could see lights and music blasting out of the house. He gave you an excited grin and helped you out of the car, walking with you inside the house. It was overflowing with people laughing, playing games and having fun. As much as it seems hard to believe, you didn’t know anyone of those many people. They had familiar faces, sure, but you couldn’t consider them your actual friends. You sighed and nervously looked at Kyle who, on the other side, was flashing smiles to all his fellow frat brothers and friends. You noticed how comfortable he was in his habitat, and how you envied him for that. He introduced you to many people-whom you couldn’t even remember the names of-that obviously didn’t care much about getting to know you, since they even could’ve sworn you did not go to that college. You were invisible even when the attention was on you, and Kyle clearly didn’t catch that. So when he was dragged by his mates to some kind of game, he told you with a chuckle and a rushed tone
“I-I’ll be right back! Chat with the girls, they’re fun!”
Fun. Right. You didn't mean to sound like an antisocial bitch, but they were everything but fun. You saw them from afar just taking pictures of each other-to show on Instagram how much fun they were pretending to have having-or teasing each other about their crushes. You felt bored, so you sat on a chair, sipping a cup of-what you hoped was-punch and waited for Kyle. Time passed, and he didn’t show up, so you got up and started searching for him. It didn’t take you much to find him. Kyle was on the karaoke stage, singing “Rosanna” by Toto.
“Meetcha all the way! Nananaaaaah…” He “singed” while laughing with his mates.
You were conflicted on what to do now. You didn’t want to be a bummer by clinging to him all night, but you were truly bored and felt lonely. So, you did what you believed was best for everyone, you grabbed your stuff and left. The moment you stepped outside, you were met by an unfamiliar feeling of peace, the view surprising you for its beauty and for being so…empty. It was quiet, the only sound that could be heard were the waves splashing against the sand, no people around. You smiled and made your way to the pier nearby. You sat on it and took your shoes off, allowing your feet to sink in the water.
You didn’t know how much time had passed, but you were brought back to reality when you felt Kyle's voice behind you.
“Here you are! I searched for you everywhere!” He was breathing fast, you believed he had been running while seeking for you.
“I thought I left you a message?” You tilted your head.
“Oh… Sorry. I can’t find my phone. Why are you all alone here? The whole fun is inside!” He replied with a giant boyish smile.
“I like it better here. It’s boring inside.” You turned your face to look at the sea again.
“What? How can you call it boring? There are plenty of games! And people inside-” you cut him off before he could finish his sentence.
“Kyle, I hate to break it to you, but I’m not popular like you. The people inside couldn’t care less about me. I feel less lonely here than in that crowded house.”
He looked at you confused.
“Aw, c’mon…don’t be like this. They’re nice people, you just have to make an effort to try to meet them, and I’m sure you’ll have fun.” You didn’t know why those words started a fire in you.
“They’re not my friends, Kyle. I can’t stand those people, I don’t get along with them. And trust me, I’ve tried to be social and friendly, but you may have to consider the idea that not everyone is like you. You’re easygoing and social, you're a freaking frat boy for fuck’s sake. It’s easy for you to say those things.”
He looked at you, mouth agape at your sudden outburst.
“…why didn’t you just tell me?” He looked at you like a sad puppy for bringing you somewhere that made you uncomfortable.
“And be more of a bummer? No, thanks. They already hate me, I don't wanna be a party pooper as well.” You crossed your arms.
He sat next to you on the pier and his fingers gently grazed your jaw to make you look at him.
“You’re not a bummer to me…a-and I’m sorry about that… I shouldn’t have left you alone. Sorry.”
You wanted to be mad at him, truly, but those cute brown eyes melted your heart in every way possible. You bit your lip as you admired him lovingly. He was so caring and sweet, how did you manage to get this lucky?
“I didn’t wanna make you uncomfortable, I- that’s the last thing I’d ever want. You know I care about you… I can’t stand you being mad at me. Please, forgive me?”
You felt your heart tighten at those words. You gave him a slight nod as your eyes travelled down his lips. You wanted to kiss him so badly, and he probably caught onto that, since he slowly leaned in to meet your lips in a sweet kiss. He pulled away slightly, mumbling against your lips.
“Was that okay?” You nodded, and he leaned in again, kissing you once more. This time he deepened the kiss, letting his tongue slip in your mouth and softly swirling it around yours. You let out a breath at how right that felt and how sweet he was being. You pulled him slightly closer and moved your hand to rest on his neck and caress the skin of it. After a bit, you moved your lips to peck his jaw a few times before trailing them down on his neck. Your lips worked sweetly on his skin at first, earning a few sighs from him. As the tension grew, you started sucking his neck, leaving red marks. He groaned and grabbed your waist, you subtly moved your hand down to massage the bulge from his pants. He let out a tiny gasp, and you felt him stiffen, not in a good way. You looked up at him with a confused expression.
“I-I’m sorry…please keep going…” He said with a nervous smile.
“What’s wrong? Did you not like that? It’s okay if you don’t want to…” You gave him a comprehensive look.
“No! I like that… I swear. Just…bad memories.”
“Do you wanna talk about it…?”
“No, I just wanna feel good now.”
You nodded and gave him a gentle peck on his lips before gently undoing his zipper. You ran your fingers over the visible shape of his dick through his underwear, earning a groan from him. You looked at him for consent before gently pulling his boxers down. You blushed as you saw him so vulnerable for the first time. Your fingers wrapped around his shaft, stroking him slowly. He let out a breathy moan.
“G-god…don’t stop…”
You smiled and started progressively speeding up. After a few minutes, you heard his moans grow louder, and you felt his strong hand gripping your wrist.
“I…wanna do it. Is that okay?”
You nodded, and he sat up to gently remove your dress and everything underneath. He was stunned by your body, staring at you as if you were the most beautiful thing he had ever seen. He helped you lay down, with a massive gentleness, as if you were capable of breaking if handled too roughly. He hovered on top of you, caressing your face as he lined up your entrance with his dick.
“This okay?” He muttered under his breath, to which you answered with a nod. He gently pushed into you, allowing you to adjust to the new feeling. He groaned when he pushed himself all the way in. He held your hand sweetly.
“Can I start moving?”
“Mhm…”
He slowly started thrusting in you, earning moans from you both. He gripped your hand tighter as he felt how your walls clenched around him. When he felt like you were ready, he started going faster, gripping your hand tightly and kissing you repeatedly through the whole thing. You could've sworn you were seeing stars when he started hitting your G-spot with his tip. Soon enough, your moans got louder and you felt yourself coming on his dick. He tried his best to contain his moans and as soon as you finished he pulled out to come on your tummy. He collapsed onto you, pecking your face repeatedly.
“I love you…” He mumbled.
After some time had passed, he got up and cleaned you with the salty water, giggling like a teen boy receiving his first kiss. When he helped you gain your-and his-decency again, he got up, throwing an arm around you and walking happily towards his car.

Good Omens S2 Discontinuity Roundup
Hello Good Omens fans! Did you know the Good Omens team has put a lot of work into making “errors'' in the second season? Whether you were already aware, or just catching up, please take a look at the links below. Clicking any link will take you to one of the original posts that mentioned the discontinuity.
This post will continue to be updated and extended as new meta are published. Is there anything missing that you'd like to add? Reblogs, comments or messages are welcome!
Why are there so many discontinuities? Well, existing theories include different perspectives being shown, time-loops, separate timelines, a story told “out of order” and more! What's your opinion?
Discontinuities across multiple episodes:
Crowley’s sideburns.
Crowleys’ sunglasses.
The bookshop clock is frequently showing the “wrong” time (and other time inconsistencies).
The bookshop porch pillars/columns are sometimes clean, sometimes marked.
Randomly dusty streets (on a closed set no less!).
Street signage (Maggie’s and 1001 nights).
Almost every scene with visible extras, see here, here and here for examples.
Episode 1
There's TWO scrolls in Before the Beginning?
Gabriel’s/Jim’s entrance happens twice.
Crowley's conversation with Shax in the park shows him putting down the newspaper twice, and Shax's bag is all over the place.
Honolulu Roast sign.
Moving lamps inside GMCoGMD.
Disappearing eccles cakes.
Crowley's watch is set an hour ahead of his phone.
Episode 2
The lane where Crowley parks his Bentley varies between being wet and dry as well as the position it’s parked in, the colour grading, and the amount of dust on the Bentley windscreen! Also - the backdrop of the lane where Crowley parks the Bentley is impossible.
The amount of dust on Jim’s book changes in between cuts.
Job Minisode - varying wigs used for Bildad.
Episode 3
Muriel's arrival continues from a much earlier scene in E2 - see here and here.
Aziraphale parks in an unexplained location before going to the Resurrectionist pub, and also mysteriously loses his suitcase.
Resurrectionist Pub’s outdoor sign has two versions (no I don’t just mean the Jesus side!).
Bentley now 4-door (may be explained by the transformation sequence).
Awning of a new age, extras are discontinuous and standins for Nina and Maggie are visible.
Edinburgh Flashback - Crowley’s muttonchops change in size during the mausoleum scene.
Episode 4
Each time they are at the Windmill theatre, items in the background keep disappearing.
The polaroids (yes, two!) on screen are different sizes.
The polaroid itself is very confusing with Crowley’s weird arm.
The morse code in Hell is saying something slightly different to the loud speaker...
Episode 5
Nina and Maggie switch places? (Who knew they could teleport like that lol?)
High ranking demons are bottom of the barrel?
The “Surrender the angle” sign is thrown in twice?
A child randomly appears upon exit from the ball (approx 32:36).
Episode 6
Gabriel’s statue sometimes has a cross, sometimes not.
Crowley/David's stand-in is visible as Nina and Maggie leave.
French restaurant Fairy lights.
Final 15 clock shenanigans - why does the clock change from 9:25 to 9:40?
Are there two suns at the end of the episode?
These are the one's I've seen published so far and I'll keep adding to the list as more are published. In the meantime, if you spot anything missing from my list, please share the post about it :)

Hello :) My request is MC/Yuu overblotting- but not with magic! What I picture is them having a nervous breakdown. It starts off with them hyperventilating and being unresponsive. Then it devolves into them screaming their head off until their voice starts going hoarse and hitting anyone who tries to touch them. Maybe even throwing and destroying things. Afterwards, they refuse to speak to Crowley- even avoiding him- due to his role in their breakdown. In my mind their breakdown is caused by long term stress and triggered by Crowley telling them that there is no way for them to go home.
YES
I love this idea, it's been bouncing around in my brain for so long <3
TW // Harsh language, violent depicitions, graphic metaphors, ANGST
Uhhhh, I took some creative liberties here and there, so some things (mainly regarding Idia and Malleus because I haven't gotten up to their books in the game and refuse to look up spoilers LMAO) may not be 100% canon oopsies!
︶꒦꒷♡꒷꒦︶
You were starting to feel exhausted.
Well, that was an understatement, You had felt exhausted ever since you arrived at NCR...but this feeling was something slightly different. It was like a nagging sensation, yet also like some sort of wet rag placed over your mind at the same time. It was concerning, to say the least, but it was something you would have to shrug off until you could find the free time to fix it.
Which most likely wouldn't be anytime soon, knowing how the days went for you.
Grim was always priority number one. Keeping him out of trouble meant constantly keeping an eye on him, de-escalating any fights that he might try to kick up if left alone for a single moment. And since the two of you were technically one student, that meant that his grades were yours. Even though he was the only one out of the both of you that could use magic, he still slacked off at every turn, which left you to straighten every corner he tried to cut, finish every project that he wrote one sentence on and left, finish every alchemy potion he left bubbling on the cauldron, even if you had your own stuff to complete.
Then there were the tasks given to you by Crowley, your "ever so kind" benefactor. Despite his school getting you into this mess in the first place, Crowley considered it your fault, and as such, made you complete various chores to earn your weight around school. Which, paired with your classes, made for a day in and of itself. This isn't to include the yard-long to-do list he gave you at the start of every week, most of the points looking suspiciously like tasks the Headmaster was supposed to do himself...
And there were the students. Some you didn't know tried to kick up fights with you, knowing you couldn't use magic back on them. So you had to learn to avoid these students, or make sure you were always traveling with a friend. And as for your friends, every single one came to you with their problems day in and day out. A dorm dispute, so they needed to crash at Ramshackle for the night and eat all of your food. An overblot. More fights. Homework. Tutoring sessions. Projects they needed your help with.
You shook the thoughts out of your mind and continued walking to class with Grim, the Direbeast nestled in the crook of your arm as you balanced both yours and his schoolbooks in the other arm.
"And then, Ace was all like-" His voice sounded unusually high-pitched today. Or maybe that was just your imagination? Either way, it was giving you a headache.
"YN!" Another voice called out, the owner quickly jogging up to you. Ace and Deuce, ever the duo. You nodded your head at them in greeting, as Grim twisted his head around to look at them.
"Ace! Hah, I was just telling YN about what happened yesterday in the courtyard!" At the mention of the incident, Ace's face blanched, and the boy looked uncomfortable and ashamed.
"Oh, you mean with him and Professor Crewel?" Deuce spoke up, laughing already "Yeah, that was hilarious- remind me again, why exactly did he-"
"YN!" Now came one of the twins- normally you wouldn't have much of an issue telling them apart, but your head was starting to pound even harder now, making your vision a little blurrier. The fact that he didn't greet you with a nickname most likely meant that it was Jade.
"Oh...hey," You greeted, your brows furrowing from the pain in your head.
"Have you been to the greenhouse recently? I seem to have misplaced-"
"SHRIMPY" Ah, and there was twin number two. You felt your shoulders being constricted in a strong hug, much to Grim's dismay
"STAWPIT, YOU'RE CRUSHIN ME!" The Direbeast yowled, practically clawing himself out of your arms and jumping down onto the ground.
"Yo, YN, are you alri-" Ace started, but he, too, was interrupted
"YN!" Oh great! You recognized the Headmaster's annoying voice anywhere. And he waltzed up to you with all the elegance of an unpolished piece of charcoal, one hand reaching out to pull your arms free of Floyd's vice grip, and his other hand dropping a stack of papers into your now-outstretched arms. "Please, finish all of these by the end of this week, if you don't mind. It's papers for the senior's internships this year, and they need to be signed to be official, but I'm much too busy doing...other things...to be bothered."
"Are you still looking for a way to get me home?" You heard yourself mumble out loud, without even thinking of asking that question in the first place. But you had made it a habit to ask Crowley every time you saw him, so perhaps it was just muscle memory.
"Oh!" He chirped, straightening the front of his suit "Ah, yes, well, in my infinite wisdom, I have found out the reason to your barging in on our new-year's orientation, how you came to be here. But as for you returning, hmm, yes, I have managed to conclude that it is thoroughly impossible."
He said it so casually that it took you a moment to digest what had been said.
The students around you had gone silent, and you could feel their eyes all turning to you.
"What." Was all you could manage.
Crowley became increasingly uncomfortable, fidgeting with the watch he kept buttoned to his vest, then brushing off his front side, then folding his arms before repeating the process again "It is impossible to return you home, I'm afraid," he said with as much bravado as he could muster "Now, as for your stay here, since there is nothing left that I can do, you will need to continue to work for-"
Everything seemed to crumble around you in that exact moment. The feeling of damp, dreaded annoyance that had been bubbling up in the back of your mind all day came to the surface at once, and you couldn't help but slam your eyes shut tight against the world. You didn't want to see that damn Crow, you didn't want to see your friends, you didn't want to see anybody!
You opened your mouth to speak in that moment, dropping to your knees, but all that came out was a painful, sorrow-filled wail, so loud and so harsh that you could feel the inside of your throat shred with every passing second.
A puddle of black ink started to fill your mind's eye, growing larger and larger until it was all your brain could think of.
𓆩⟡𓆪
Every dorm in the school was based off of one of the Great Seven. All but for the Ramshackle dorm, a long-forgotten piece of trash that rested on the campus of the school rather than in its own pocket dimension like the others.
Every housewarden embodied the spirit of their designated Great.
Riddle Rosehearts idolized the Queen of Hearts, following every law she had set in her chaotic kingdom, becoming as strict and severe with the enforcement of rules as she was.
Leona Kingscholar was a second-born, raised in the shadow of his older brother and sneered at by his people, and now had to live with the knowledge that he would never be a ruler with the birth of his nephew.
Azul Ashengrotto was an octo-mer, much like the Sea Witch, who specialized in contracts with those who were less fortunate and needed a favor.
Jamil Viper, although not a Housewarden, technically, but some would argue that he deserved to be such, was a consultant for the person in charge- someone he viewed as daft and naive to the ways of the world.
Vil Schoenheit, a man who wanted nothing more than to be considered the "Fairest of All", unable to cope with the fact that there was one who might be better than he.
Idia Shroud, a "loner" by typical standards, was born from a family long cursed, a family seen as Pariahs due to their research and studies.
Malleus Draconia, a descendant of Faes, royalty, with horns that rivaled the Great Thorn Fairy's. Despite longing for human interaction, and simply to be included, he was shunned for his bloodline and odd actions.
But you, Prefect of Ramshackle dorm, had no one to model yourself after.
You were nobody.
Every Housewarden Overblotted, one after another, because they couldn't be the spitting image of the great Seven, because of pressure, because they didn't realize that they were only teenagers who didn't have to be perfect.
Riddle overblotted because he couldn't grasp the concept of being wrong. Leona, because he wouldn't be anything greater than a second-born scum. Azul, because all his work was shredded and he was left with no power to put him above those who bullied him years ago. Jamil, because he had enough of pretending to be someone he wasn't. Vil, because he couldn't admit that he wasn't perfect. Idia, because he wanted freedom. Malleus, because he was tired of himself and the hatred others showed him.
Which only left you.
Nobody.
The nobody who landed in this strange new world, a world in which everyone had magic...except for you. A world were you were less than. A world where you were treated like a burden, despite everyone laying all of their problems on you, demanding you fix them. A world where, no matter how hard you tried, you would always, always be less than.
A nobody.
𓆩⟡𓆪
Then entire campus of NCR shook with your rage and sorrow.
The students both outside and inside stopped, simultaneously looking at whoever was closest to them before running to the source of the wail.
Everyone was silent. What could they do?
It was an overblot, the school's nurse would officially state later, brought on by stress and pushing yourself past the limit. Although you had no magic to push yourself over the edge with, the sheer amount of mental exhaustion you were being put through would work just as well as an exertion of magic, if not more so. In the privacy of their rooms and dorms, assured that no prying ears would overhear them, the students agreed amongst each other that it was more terrifying of a sight than anyone else's overblot they've seen. Yours was one of pure emotion, without any magic to artifically amplify it. Pure and untainted.
And while anyone else who overblotted could only use their magic, you held something far more powerful.
You held the emotions of hundreds of students at NCR. The most top-notch mages and students look to you with a sense of reverence. Whether you knew it or not, you held the strings of the hearts of them all. With one single word, you could cause any of the Housewardens to level entire cities for you, if only to gain your approval. You held the strings of fate for them all, and your pain and suffering was enough to make the same Housewardens, and anybody else who knew you closely- or even in passing- unable to use their magic for weeks after your breakdown.
They just...couldn't seem to use it. It was as if their magic were broken.
When you ran out of breath, finally getting all of your anger out of your system, you inhaled shakily, putting trembling hands on the ground to steady yourself.
When you opened your eyes, the first thing you saw was a speckle of blood on the concrete below you, where your screams had caused your throat to crack and shred. You could see people in your peripheral vision, your friends, not one of them moving towards you.
Directly in front of you, looking as if he were about to make a run for it, was none other than Dire Crowley. You could see the sky behind him, dark and grey. Was it that color before?
"I-" You started, your voice cracking, but nonetheless heavy with emotion. You stood up slowly, your knees buckling at first, but eventually letting you stand up to your full height. You stood as tall as you could, your shoulders straight and your eyes focused straight ahead, drilling a hole through Crowley's head. Your face was wet from tears, and more were threatening to spill, but you didn't care about that right now.
"I'm done with you, Crowley," You spat, your voice holding a level of hatred you didn't know was possible. "I'm done working to make up for your shit. I'm done risking my life for you when I'm defenseless, when I'm stuck in this god-damn world because of you!" You held up an accusing finger, taking a step forward to jab it in his chest. He stepped back, but you stepped forward again, keeping the distance between you two even.
"I never wanted to be here, yet you treat me like I'm some sort of burden who showed up at your door- you force me to work, force me to be the therapist for children who need fucking help! How many overblotting students have I saved, huh? How many of those were ones you ran from, ones you refused to help with?! When have you ever been on my side? When have you ever stopped to think not of yourself, but me? What about ME, you worthless piece of shit?!"
You took another shaky breath, wiping the blood gathering on your lips with your free hand.
Crowley let out a small breath as you lowered your finger, and you turned around in a small circle to look at the crowd of students surrounding you. There were your friends, some looking concerned, other terrified. Grim was being held by Ace in a comforting gesture, the cat-like beast shaking. Some of the students had unreadable looks on their faces. Others looked confused.
"I'm done." You hissed, half to yourself, and half to the students. Although it was low enough so only those a few feet away could hear you speak, the word got around quickly enough, and the throng of students began whispering amongst themselves.
You ignored the offers of helps from your friends, and stormed off, back to the Ramshackle dorm, house of Nobody.
Ruled by Nobody.

Kuro Tetsuro, his s/o, and their first kiss
My man <3 I had to write for him, just had to make him the first character from Haikyuu I post for.
Other captains
Kuro was an interesting person, to say the least. Additionally, or maybe, because of that, he attracted just as unique people, keeping them as his friends. You, being one of them.
You met Kuro during your junior high school days, and the moment he got to know your home was near his and Kenma's he decided to befriend you. Of course, being his friend you couldn't escape his favourite sport.
There were tens, if not hundreds, of times when he made you go with him and play volleyball, even if you weren't really interested in it. Other times you would either watch as Kenma had to join him instead of you, or the three of you played together.
You actually enjoyed watching them play rather than stumble trying to hit the ball yourself. There was just something in the way he enjoyed the sport. His grins and excited eyes every time he did exceptionally well during his matches. Even his prideful and cocky personality seemed to enchant you. It was just him and him alone that had that effect on you.
You liked Testuro, liked his every side, no matter how irritable he could be sometimes. If you had to pick one you loved the most, it would be his nerdy side, because of his passion for volleyball, which made him simply cool, and his knowledge about chemistry, which seemed to even his cool personality, as if he couldn't be too cool. And as it wasn't all because of his big brain and surprisingly great grades in the subject, it was his puns. His usually cringy and eye-rolling puns.
Sometimes you wondered if the puns came from his friendship with Bokuto, as the owl captain seemed like a person who liked to joke, but it may as well be Fukunaga, who although was silent, his interest in jokes was well known.
You used his talent for chemistry, with his approval, or more like with him telling you to. Testuro proposed to help you out when he noticed the poor score on one of your tests. It first had him laughing his hyena laugh before he turned to you and told you.
"You're a lost cause. Thankfully, I'm kind enough to become your tutor."
So you did use him, as he wanted, participating in the little tutoring sessions between you two. Did they work? Maybe.. Hard to tell, as he tried his best to explain the stuff to you, and your grades were better but...
"Is it any good?" You asked hopefully after finishing some exercises from the workbook. You pushed it to your left and toward him on the table and he grabbed it.
You put my pencil in your mouth biting on it as you saw his face twisted and eyes narrowed in focus. His pencil tapped on the workbook before he looked up and turned to you.
"Nah, not really, here I'll explain it again." Tetsuro said moving the book back in front of you as he started explaining the theory and exercise to you.
Even when you sometimes didn't get it at first and he had to talk you through the topic again.
You really appreciated him for that and it made you happy that he would spend some of the free time, he could spend playing volleyball, to help you.
"Hey, no worries. Just be like a proton." He said in the middle of his explanation and at the exact moment you started feeling like you didn't get anything once again.
'Oh no..' You thought knowing pretty well what was coming. Still, you couldn't help a small "What?" leaving your mouth.
You slowly turned to look at him with his stupid grin on his face.
"Stay positive." He giggled right after the line and you felt something in you break.
Unfortunately, although he was smart and very knowledgeable, he was still your idiotic Tetsuro. And it meant situations like that were happening regularly...
"Ugh.." A groan left you as your hand moved to your temple and massaged it slowly.
"I got more." His enthusiastic voice called and before you could say anything he continued. "What do you call an acid with an attitude?"
Your silence didn't stop him. On the contrary, it fueled his need for your approval.
"A-mean-o Acid."
"Tetsu." You said slowly.
Your gaze moved to him to see his proud face looking at you with that smile. It seemed like your look was too little to dishearten him. Testuro moved closer to you placing his hand on the table and leaning his head on it.
"What emotional disorder does a gas chromatograph suffer from? Separation anxiety." He answered to his own joke lazily, all while his eyes were stuck on you.
"Tetsuro please." Your begging voice echoed in the room making him chuckle.
And sometimes when he started he didn't know when to finish. The puns seemed neverending, you wondered where he got them from.
He sat up momentarily and leaned even closer to you.
"Wait, are all these jokes too basic for you?"
You felt your fist tightening as irritation started to gather inside you.
"Because I see no reaction."
'Please someone stop this.' You prayed in your mind.
You turned to your workbook and placed a pencil on the exercise you had to correct.
"Can we go back to the-" You were cut off by his quick mouth.
"I wish I was adenine. Then I could get paired with U."
That was it, you've had it with him. You looked at him determined smacking the pencil down on the table.
His grin grew as he thought you finally liked his little pun.
"How did you-"
It was your turn to cut him off as you grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and pulled him closer. Your mouth smashed against his keeping him silent.
Testuro was shocked at your move but soon smiled into the kiss and pushed his lips against yours. His hand moved to your face as his forefinger curled under your chin.
The moment you pulled away and your eyes opened you noticed the awed gaze in his. He breathed deeply and for a moment it was silent. Finally, he was silent, with no more chemistry puns. Just him looking at you, at your flustered face but unwavering gaze.
Unfortunately, the silence was quickly gone as Tetsuro broke it with his curious voice.
"Oya? What was that for? Not that I mind."
You held his gaze.
"To shut you up. Seriously, how many chemistry jokes do you know?" You answered.
"You want to check?"
Your eyes widened not believing he had more of them. This man had to search the internet to get to know so many of them. (I know I did)
"Do you want me to make you my bromine and oxygen?" He asked and resigned you waited for him to finish.
He smirked tapping the periodic table that was placed next to your workbook. You sighed your gaze searching for the two chemical elements.
"BrO?" You asked confused.
"Of course, I'd prefer something different." Testuro flirted with you his finger moving to your forearm and running along it.
"Then shush and help me understand this." You smacked his hand away.
Your hand moved back to the pencil you left on the table and you picked it pointing it at him.
"If I pass my exam then we can go on a date." You declared and he straightened in his seat.
"Oya? Oya?" Your words certainly got his attention.
"Focus! And no more fun facts till we finish."
The smile fell off his face.
"But I think these jokes are sodium funny."
"Tetsu, stop."
Nevertheless, you loved him, his passionate, charming, heck even his nerdy side.

୨📜୧ ─────・ It's my problem, not yours.
▭ Synopsis﹕ Scaramouche had heard of you, the perfect student... the one who had it all. Though he had never interacted with you, he found you disagreeable. But it seems this time, you'll be getting closer than he'd prefer... so why does he feel this pressure in his chest and the heat rising to his cheeks?
★ ❪CW❫── male!reader!student x Scaramouche, AU modern, small insults, the reader is a perfect student, Scara hates you a little, Scara's POV, Scara being a tsundere
ᶻz ─── n/a﹕I just vomited this idea, ignore me.. Maybe I'll do more parts, MAYBE (I am very procrastinating and lazy). Any spelling mistakes... sorry, I don't want to review it, I'll probably post something new in another 2 months.
Scaramouche sighed, letting out a slight huff as he rolled his eyes to disguise his mild annoyance.
His delicate hands held the exam paper, and though he had thought he did well, he noted the few incorrect marks in his answers (only three), seeing the red number at the top, an 80. The maximum score was 100, and he had hoped to have scored at least an 85 or perhaps a 90, but he wasn't too surprised either. After all, he had only had a few days to study.
He could glance over his shoulder at his neighbor, who had scored a 60. That at least comforted him a bit, knowing there wouldn't be many with a grade as high as his.
His gaze wandered around the room, passing over each of his classmates' heads until he found your hair... The perfect student.
Scaramouche huffed slightly, feeling annoyed, and kept glancing away, gritting his teeth a little. You were the stupid perfect student, the teacher's pet, who probably scored a 100 effortlessly... But his curiosity drew him back to you in the distance, watching as you held the exam paper in your hands for several seconds instead of putting it away and being done. You were reviewing your exam sheet with the textbook open, as if double-checking your own already perfect answers.
However, in the end, it seemed you had left your exam sheet, flipping it over on your desk and closing the book. Your head was slightly tilted, maybe you had made a mistake in one answer... he thought, but still, you were the 100 student, if you got a 95, you still had an excellent grade. He sighed again, looking away to focus on his own affairs.
As he heard the slight squeak of the chair backing up a bit, he looked up once more, and some strands of his indigo hair bothered him a bit. He quickly adjusted his hair and watched as you stood up from your seat, still with your back to him.
"Teacher, may I go to the bathroom?" It was a simple and typical question among students, but this time, it was you who asked. Obviously, the teacher gave you approval, and you quickly left the classroom, blending into the class's murmur. But he saw you. Scaramouche observed you.
He simply didn't pay it much mind, leaning back in his desk and stretching a bit over the table, lost in his thoughts and staring into space.
Now that he thought about it, he had never interacted with you. Well, he had never spoken to you.
Scaramouche remembered the first and last time you had spoken to him, even if it was just a small accident.
It was in the hallway while he was carrying some books to the office (the teacher had forced him). There were quite a few books, and he struggled a bit to carry them, so he couldn't see well as he walked. Accidentally, he bumped the books against your back.
Ugh, just remembering it seemed like a stupid cliché encounter from love stories, like when the girl bumps into the guy and it's love at first sight. He groaned at that thought, but he continued to recall how you had interacted with him.
After the collision, obviously the books fell to the ground, and you immediately apologized (when he was the one at fault), bending down to pick them up and arrange them in a row. He also crouched down, but didn't say anything, just furrowed his brow.
"Do you want me to help you carry this?" You had asked him kindly, your voice disgustingly soft for his taste, but he didn't say anything. He had already recognized you as the proclaimed perfect student, the teacher's pet, and... the number one in school.
He didn't like you, that was his point.
He wanted to refuse, but he also didn't want to carry those books again alone, so reluctantly he just carried half of them in silence, standing up and giving you a silent confirmation without meeting your gaze.
They walked together to the office, maintaining the uncomfortable silence between them. Scaramouche silently appreciated that you didn't unnecessarily try to fill that void. When they arrived, he immediately dropped off the books, giving a small greeting to the secretary to not seem rude, and then walked past you, distancing himself.
He didn't want anything to do with you, and he easily achieved that. He avoided you and kept his distance.
But oh, surprise! He and you shared three classes together: Biology, Arts, and Mathematics. Still, he didn't attempt to get closer or interact with you; it seemed unnecessary to him. He knew nothing about you, apart from being the "perfect" student. He thought you were arrogant, only showing kindness and politeness to maintain your facade of an exemplary student.
Scaramouche probably imagined that every time the teachers praised you or asked the students to follow your example, you were secretly laughing mockingly inside or looking down on others behind your soft and repulsive smile.
Scaramouche hated you.
Did he have reasons? No, but he found you distasteful for some reason.
The sound of the bell snapped him out of his thoughts immediately. Automatically, he began to pack his things into his backpack, and once finished, he stood up and made his way through the people exiting the classroom, navigating through the crowded hallway toward the exit.
It was break time, and he simply didn't want anything to do with the crowd of stupid people around him. So, he walked through the crowded halls, ignoring everyone. After all, he didn't really know anyone.
Scaramouche's feet carried him towards the stairs leading upstairs, until he reached the door that led to the rooftop. Normally, this area was blocked off, and it was forbidden to go out, but he really didn't care.
So, he easily opened the doors, removing the padlock (he had stolen the keys from the counselor's office). He closed the doors behind him so that no one would suspect that someone had been on the rooftop. He tucked the key into the pocket of his blue coat and took out his headphones and phone to listen to music, the only thing that relaxed him.
He walked across the rooftop, staying away from the edge to avoid being seen, but not too much in the center either. He headed towards the benches, which were strangely clean; probably the janitor also cleaned this place. He sat down, put on his headphones, and started playing music.
Gently, he lay back on his back, with his arms behind his head, starting to close his eyes, immersing himself in his own world of music, finding peace in melancholy.
Song by song, Scaramouche began to feel drowsy, sinking into a state of relaxation. However, when he opened his eyes, he found your face disgusting... again.
Why was God punishing him this day?
Automatically, he sat up, removing his headphones at the same time. He looked up and saw you. You had the impeccable school uniform, clean and strangely soft-looking hair, and your eyes were calm and gentle, in perfect harmony with your hair. You were too close for his liking, although technically you weren't invading his personal space, you were still there, practically in front of him, with your hands behind your back and a soft smile that he felt was fake.
"I thought this place was off-limits." You commented calmly, looking at him with those eyes that seemed as serene as water on the surface, yet so deep that they could easily swallow him whole.
He didn't want to answer how the heck he got into this closed-off place... so he simply averted his gaze with indifference, trying to show disinterest. To him, you were just an arrogant idiot, he told himself.
There were seconds of uncomfortable silence for Scaramouche as you continued to observe him with those eyes of yours. He felt uneasy under your gaze. So, he huffed annoyed, looking back at you and furrowing his brow.
"I thought the model student didn't break any rules in school." He declared, looking at you defiantly. He didn't care if you went and talked to a teacher, pointing him out for being on the rooftop, because you were there too. That place was supposed to be off-limits, but there you were, looking at him.
However, you simply smiled, as if it didn't affect you at all if he told a teacher that you had broken a rule. Although, on second thought, they wouldn't believe him, they would believe you because you were the perfect student, the role model. But if Scaramouche were to prove that you had broken a rule, it wouldn't matter because many teachers would probably overlook it due to your reputation as the responsible student with a bright future.
That's why maybe you were smiling so calmly. He clenched his teeth slightly, annoyed by your mere presence.
"I was just checking who was on the rooftop, as there have been incidents of students smoking here or having gatherings that are prohibited without a teacher's authorization." You responded softly, still smiling at him with that fake smile of yours, and you even sounded completely logical.
Your eyes, looking directly at him, made him feel small under your calm and deep gaze, like that of an animal observing its prey. But he wasn't going to let you take control.
"Do you see me smoking?" He responded, looking at you without hesitation, although the slight pressure in his chest increased with every moment you continued to look at him. Then, you gently closed your eyes and then opened them, looking in another direction, probably gazing at the blue sky.
"No, you're not smoking. I was just... 'investigating', I guess you could say." You said softly. Damn, maybe he understood now why they said you were so kind; it was your disgustingly soft tone of voice.
Although he also silently appreciated that you stopped looking at him. The tension in his muscles briefly relaxed, but his mind raced trying to decide how to act now. Respond? Ignore you? Say nothing? Leave? Any option seemed bad to him.
He decided to go for the first option, maybe then you would be satisfied with the conversation and leave him alone, ignoring him and forgetting about him.
"Are you going to tell a teacher, then?" He said, sounding uninterested because it was the truth. He really didn't care if a teacher scolded him for breaking a rule, as his mother wouldn't have time to go to the school and find out. But he continued the conversation, hoping you would leave him alone afterwards, and also so he would know whether or not he would be accused by you.
"Mhmm.." you hummed to yourself. He watched you step back a bit to lean gently against the whitish wall, crossing your arms, and again... looking at him. "Don't worry, Scaramouche, I won't." Damn, how did you know his name?
He remained still, watching your stupid smile that he disliked so much and how your lips pronounced his name. He didn't even know how you knew his name or why you had memorized it. Even though he hadn't told you, still... he looked at you, processing what you had just said, but at least you weren't going to rat him out. Was that a good thing? One could say yes.
"And this sudden kindness?" He immediately recovered, putting one leg up on the bench he was sitting on, bending it enough to lean his elbow on it and look you in the eyes, adopting a casual and unconcerned posture.
Or so he tried to appear, but his brain fried a bit when you called him by his name. He wondered why you had memorized his name, but he would go on with his intention. He wouldn't let himself be dragged down by you; you were just... ridiculous.
He watched in slow motion as you gently closed your eyes, fluttering your eyelashes, and then opened them again, tilting your head slightly... looking at him.
"I just noticed you weren't in class, the bell rang over 5 minutes ago." You commented casually, looking directly at him.
When the hell had the bell rung? He didn't even realize that time had passed too quickly for his liking... and he remembered that he also had classes with you today, and in math class, adding more weight to the situation. He would definitely be scolded, so he immediately stood up with a clear sound.
"Did the bell already ring? Why didn't you tell me, idiot?!" Scaramouche snapped at you, giving you a death glare as he checked the time on his phone. Even though he didn't give a damn about what the teachers thought, the math teacher punished him with too many assignments, which literally gave him a headache.
Scaramouche hurried towards the rooftop door, opening it. But a hand on his arm stopped him just as he was about to step onto the first step down.
"It's okay, Scaramouche. Let's go together, so the teacher won't scold you." You said softly. Now you were disgustingly close, he could feel the soft perfume surrounding you. It wasn't strong or intense, but soft... His brain went blank from your tone of voice and your strange comforting touch for him. After a few seconds, he reacted, stepping down onto the first step and turning around to look at you, pulling his arm away from your grip abruptly.
"Let go of me, idiot," Scaramouche muttered through gritted teeth, looking at you defiantly. But why did he feel like his cheeks were gently warming up? He lowered his gaze and turned, descending the stairs quickly without waiting for you. However, he could hear how you followed suit afterward.
After a few minutes, they were standing in front of the classroom door they had today, with the math teacher. Obviously, upon entering, the teacher was clearly not happy that Scaramouche had arrived late, but his expression immediately changed when he saw you with him.
He asked why you came back from the bathroom with Scaramouche, and in the end, you ended up lying for him, saying that when you returned to the classroom, you saw Scaramouche sleeping, so you woke him up and told him about the class time.
The teacher had no choice but to scold him for not falling asleep outside during class time and next time, threatening him with punishment if he did it again (basically, thanks to you, he wasn't punished this time). Scaramouche simply remained silent, not even thanking you.
He went to his seat, sighing irritably, trying to focus on the class and ignoring the fact that, in the distance, you seemed to have that stupid smile again. Maybe it was one of triumph for having helped him and now he owed you a favor... you were so annoying to him.
Thanks to your stupid pretty face and good reputation, you helped him this time and decided that you wouldn't tell anyone about the guy on the roof. What did you want from him? He doesn't know but he doesn't want to return the favor.
You were just two-faced, surely..
This was their problem, not yours, you're just a stupid busybody.
Bonus:
Scaramouche was there, sitting... trying to concentrate on Math class but really, he didn't understand at all...
"Where the hell did the teacher get that -26?.."
He simply groaned in annoyance in his seat, his gaze wandering over the others' heads, to where you were... and he thought about the roof.
Oh shit, he had forgotten to put the new lock on the doors.
At the next recess, Scaramouche immediately went through the crowd to the roof, to make up for his mistake, but when he went, the doors to the roof were locked... he was a little relieved, but he wondered if the janitor was the one who did it. And then he looked in his pocket for the key but he realized that only his cell phone and headphones were there... the key was not there.
At what point did he lose it?!
In reality, it was you who had stolen Scaramouche's key when you were with him, and when he was going down the stairs you made sure to lock it with the utmost care that it was silent because you knew that Scaramouche might react badly.
Scaramouche in the end deduced that the only culprit was you.

I’m thinking about the ROR timeline a little, which doesn’t make a lot of sense BUT I’m trying to figure out ages in my head:
- it’s been ten years since Descendants 1, so the year is 2025 when ROR takes place. Mal was born in 1999 making her 25-26, meaning the rest of the og cast is around there as well.
- it’s stated in film that Chad is playing Tourney for his university. I originally thought that was silly since that’s really late to have a college sports career. BUT after some research, I learned that you can actually play in college sports for up to five years (or more with special circumstances). So it’s probably his last year playing before going pro or going into sports med or something. I also HC that both he and Audrey took a gap year between graduation and college to travel together so they went back to school later then everyone else.
- Chloe is attending Auradon Prep in ROR, and seeing as Queen Ella brings up past grades and extracurriculars, I can only assume it’s her second year attending, making her between 16-17 years old? This means she and Chad have at least 9-10 years age difference.
- I can only assume Red is around the same age as Chloe.
- Chloe was only 7-8 years old when Chad was preparing to graduate from Auradon Prep. Meaning Red was that age too when she and her Mom returned to Wonderland after being on the Isle of the Lost.
- So, seeing as Brandy currently is 45 years old real time, she had Chad at 18-19 years old, and Chloe in her early 30’s. (Assuming she is meant to be 45 in the series, idk)
- This means that Merlin Academy can’t actually exist in the timeline/canon as we know it, as Belle and Beast would’ve created Auradon when Ella was only 15 and still in school. However, it could be that the idea was still so new, seeing as Chloe and Red would’ve gone back to the very first year of Auradon’s existence, that they may have literally just missed the shift of power to a high monarchy.
- Beast would be 28 during the events of the time travel sequence (since he married Belle at 28, 30 years before), and 58 during ROR main timeline.
- It could be that the villains were resurrected before Auradon came to be, put in school to try and rehabilitate them under Merlin’s watch, and then Beast just decided NAH and booted them off to the Isle right as Chloe and Red left back into their own time. Perhaps due to the cookbook incident? (I consider this piece of the lore to be a retcon as it makes 0 sense, but we can try).
- This would mean the time travel portion of ROR happens in/around 1995. Maleficent would be about 19 or so (same age as Ella) when she gave birth to Mal on the Isle three-ish years later.
- Ella was born in 1980.
- So, recap, ages during ROR: OG cast is 25-26 years old, Chloe and Red are 16-17 years old, Ella & Bridget, as well as Maleficent and Hades are around 45, Beast is pushing 60.
—
I have no idea if any of this makes sense or is even right? But this is kinda what I managed to figure out just thinking about it as logically as possible from the films alone.
I haven’t read any of the books nor plan to do so, this is literally just me thinking about the series as a whole seeing as the creators are trying really hard to say ROR is somehow part of the canon. So, if you have any notes feel free to lmk, I probably missed something from the book lore that I don’t care about lol.

The Quite Girl's Heart
A love story of overcoming insecurities and an unexpected romance of a shy girl (Y/N) and a confident boy (Chris sturniolo)
A/N-new to writing, so sorry if it doesn't make sense. Just a sweet little fic to get my writing started. may dive deeper as time goes on.
Music mentioned= Lovers Rock, TV girl
T.W= none (just bad spelling and grammar)
Chris speaking is orange
y/n speaking is pink
This is y/n, when asked to describe herself she is quick to note down how she is pictured as a shy and introverted girl. She is not one to seek attention or crave the spotlight. Instead, she finds solace in her drawings and music, where she can get lost in her own little world. where people wish they can be like her.
Y/N have always been like this, ever since she was a child. Her parents used to worry about her, thinking that she would never open up to anyone. How she will slowly blend into the background. But she may be shy, but she have a big heart and is always willing to lend a listening ear to those who need it.
But despite her kind heart, no one really notices her. She is the shadow in the bustling hallways of the high school. Watching those around her and dreaming of being them. Y/N have a small group of friends, but even they sometimes forget that she is there.
That is until one day, its was last period Maths class, Y/N was not amazing at Maths but good enough to get a good grade. She usually spent maths lessons with her headphones in and doodling in her note book, with her work being finished early on. But today was different, Lovers Rock by Tv Girl had started to play, when she was suddenly interrupted by a figure sitting in the abandoned seat next to her. Y/N took no notice and began to complete her earlier doodle from lunch when the figure beside her tapped her arm.
With a shaky hand she paused the music and looked at the figure. Y/Ns eyes were met with Chris Sturniolo's. She didn't know many people at this school but she knew him. how couldn't you, he is a triplet for god sake. Chris had a slim build and light freckles scattered across his face. His brown hair had grown to a comfortable medium length, and was currently un kept giving Chris a carefree and approachable appearance. Chris's eyes are striking, with a ocean blue iris and a constant smile that lights up his face. Chris is known to have a very confident personality making him popular with the people he meets.
The lingering silence was broken by his confident yet hesitant voice "Sorry for bothering you Y/N, I'm Chris, Miss Koury said that you could help me out with my Maths" every part of Y/N wishes for her to say no, to excuse herself and go back to her own little world. But she could see the desperation form on his face. "Look Y/N, I could really use your help, I cant even begin to tell you how painful these lessons are" he looks down at her desk "and you always seem to get your work done instantly, so you must be really good at it." as he finishes his sentence she focus on that fact that he notices her, it was small and something many people may overlook but when you get overlooked by everyone else you take notice of these things. Y/N begin to reply "me? oh, no. I just like to stay on top of things" continuing on "and it means that the teachers don't bother me and leave me to listen to music" As Y/N spoke she can see that Chris has turned his full attention to her. He listened intently to every word she said, his eyes never leaving her face. She can feel the nerves filling her body.
He began to speak again and sensing the hesitance and uncertainty in her voice he tried his best to get rid of her fear. "Good at maths and organised, looks like I asked the right person to help me out" he leans in closer on a wait for a reply. Chris takes a closer look at Y/Ns face and he finds his gaze linger on her features. Y/Ns green eyes are striking, and Chris cant help but be drawn in by their intensity. He noticed the freckles scattered across her nose and cheeks, adding to her unique beauty. Chris couldn't help but found the shy girls smile enduring, Y/Ns most noticeable feature is her crooked nose. While many may see this as a flaw, Y/N included, in Chris's eyes it made her more attractive. Y/Ns cracked circle glasses sit slightly wonky on her face, but it only added to her character. Chris cant help but admire the black hair that falls in waves around the shy girls face, with streaks of white running through it like a silvery thread. he feels his smile growing as he sees her begin to speak again.
"oh, thank you." a warm sensation filled Y/Ns face, she just know that her cheeks were pink. "so... what exactly do you need my help with?" as soon as she finished her words Chris began "Maths. I really need help with Maths" Y/Ns lips curl upward into a shy smile, and her eyes crinkle at the corners as she giggles making her follow it up with her pushing her glasses up. Chris feels a sense of joy wash over him as he sees her reaction, seeing her become more comfortable around him. "I understand that" she reassures him "but what precisely about maths do you need help with?" Chris follows closely with this answer wanting to her voice again. "well basically everything." Chris said nervously "I see how well you do on test and I was hoping you could teach me your ways, so Miss Koury can finally leave me alone" he scanned her face waiting to see mockery swarm over it, but he was quickly reassured that this quiet girl is far form mockery. "you don't have to be so sweet" Y/Ns cheeks getting even more pink "Of course I will help" Y/N then begins to take out her note book revealing a neatly organized set of notes and practice problems. Chris couldn't help but be impressed by her preparation and dedication to the subject. Chris's confidence was infectious and Y/N could feel herself becoming ill with confidence. A lively but relaxed conversation bounced between them as Y/N explained and empathised points to Chris.
*time skip to the end of the lesson (so basically the end of the day)*
As the clocked ticked closer to the end of the day fellow classmates eagerly prepare there things to go home, whereas Chris and Y/N are still left in there comfortable conversation. Chris can see how passionate Y/N is about helping him, and Y/N couldn't believe that Chris noticed her and right now was laughing and smiling at all her crapy Maths jokes. Y/N could feel her heart flutter every time. Hearing the ruckus happening around him Chris debated on if he should ask Y/N for her number or at least a social media account, But just before he could muster up the courage the bell rang out. "Thank you for giving up your music time to help me Y/N" Chris spoke out as they calmly place their belonging into their bags "cant believe I am going to say this but..." curiosity filled Y/N face and a wave of nerves washed over her in anticipation on what he was going to follow with, then he began to speak. "I really enjoyed this Maths lesson" Then Y/N was hit with a sharp punch of disappointment, she was hoping he would say something different but she wasn't sure what. she plastered on a crooked nerves smile and began to speak "yeah. It was lovely taking to you" now finished zipping her bag she gently brushes pass Chris who is still gathering notes and shoving them into his bag.
Y/N exits the classroom, puts her earphones in and begins walking with the crowds of people to her locker. In her own world placing books neatly on her locker shelf and taking out her jacket a lone hand places itself on her shoulder and she begins to turn. Y/N is now met face to face with Chris again with Nick and Matt standing behind. Chris is struggling to close his bag showing clearly that he rushed to catch her, he catches his breath as Y/N yet again pauses her music for him. "sorry for making you pause your music again" Chris speaks out finally zipping up his bag and making himself look more presentable. "Don't worry it fine" Y/N say to make sure Chris knows he is not burden to her "err..was there something you needed?". Chris subtly looks behind him seeing the figures of his brother wating behind. He debts whether or not to ask for her number than finally begins to speak. "Well I was just wondering" Chris feels his confidence in battle with is nerves "well.... its just that"
The battle was lost Chris's nerves had won. He found himself fill with disappointment when his words coward to safety. "Do you mind helping me next Maths lesson". Y/N heart sinks, she is unsure why but she wishes for more. But with her heavy heart Y/N agrees to help once more "Ur...yeah I will be happy to help" Y/N didn't not want to miss a chance to be with Chris. Y/N has never felt this way before, she realised that when she spoke to him she didn't feel shy. Chris made her feel confident and comfortable in her own skin.
Before Chris could leave Y/N was struck but a pulse of confident and informed Chris "You can find me in the library" she had a sweet smile resting on her face and her eyes had a bright glow. Y/Ns tone softened and she spoke "just in case you need to talk" Y/N shocked by her own words and how forward she was being, stumbling on her next, trying to look less eager to talk to Chris again hoping she hadn't messed up "about the Maths problem" she stumbled out "I don't mind going over any of them" she anticipated to be declined for her offer but was soon was put at ease by Chris's words "Library". Repeating the location almost as to make a mental note, "OK" Chris said more for himself, showing that he retained the information. "well I am sure I will see you soon" he looks as his brothers beginning to walk to the exit sensing the end of the conversation sooner then Chris wanted. With Chris's brothers now out of ear shot he spoke "I'm sure I will have no problem mustering up some Maths questions to have an excuse to disturber your music once again". A pink hue was now painted over his face, with his feelings flustered be quickly turned to catch up with his brothers leaving Y/N with these final words "I have loved speaking to you". Y/N was left to reflect as she put on her jacket, shut her locker and began to walk home. He may had meant nothing by it she thought, it may have been a simple compliment. But still she found herself playing those words back in her mind, replacing the music that plays. Y/N found herself thinking about her interaction with Chris. How she felt nothing but happiness, she felt comfortable around him, her shyness becoming a distant figure in her past. And while she thought this was just a passing moment, that once he got a good grade it will go back to normal, she couldn't help but hope for more, hope that he asks for help with more classes, asks for help with anything. Just so she can she can see his beautiful soul again. Just so she can feel happy again.
*time skip to the next day- lunch time*
last night when finally arriving home Chris instantly began going over his note. Not for revision, NO! but so he can go see Y/N, to talk to her again.
Its now lunch and Chris has branched off from his brothers and his friends to make his way to the library. With a sticky note in hand with random maths questions he needs help with.
Making his way through the library, his confident and outgoing demeanour contrasted with the quite, studious atmosphere. Chris scanned the rows of shelves, searching for Y/N. He cant see her, he start to debate if he should keep looking or spend his lunch with his friends.
yet another battle was waging in his mind and he was scared of who will come out on top.....
*A/N- i hope you liked this. I didn't want it to be too long so if you will like a part 2 just say*
*A/N- any advice or recommendations are more then welcome*

You know what, season 2 broke a lot of our hearts, didn't it? Well, here's some moments I thought were funny, heartwarming and just off the wall to lighten things up!
Starting with the Hidden Inventory/Premature Death Arc and if y'all want, I'll do a part 2 for the Shibuya Incident!
NOTE: I may have talked about some of these moments before in other posts.
Utahime, just all of Utahime in the first episode. She's awesome, I adore her. "SHOOOOKOOOO!!"
Chibi Satoru and Suguru. Especially the part of Suguru walking up the stairs as the others were talking. "Urusei."
"SENSEI, I SAY WE STOP THIS HUNT FOR THE CULPRIT!"
"SO IT WAS YOU!"
"Blegh!"
Shoko dipping out.
Suguru was really about to jump Satoru with a curse!!!
The fact that Suguru even went from wearing regular-waist pants to high-waist ones from manga to anime is glorious. Whoever decided that knew Suguru was meant to be a fashion icon.
Digimon
That WALK!!! Y'all, those are Special Grade sorcerers!
Suguru scowling Satoru on his behavior, also... "Satorrruuu~" Did he have to purr? That was a purr!
I love Satoru Gojo, I do. But with those glasses, he really do be looking like one of the Three Blind Mice from Shrek.
I don't know how but Toji somehow made saying he took his wife's last name scary. Like, he was very intimidating that it bypass me the first time of how cute it is that he loved Mamaguro a lot.
They actually added Suguru fixing himself a cup of tea in the anime!! This teenager really had that man captured by some Kissing Curse, told him he couldn't be a rice farmer and had himself some tea. Iconic.
Ooh, Satoru didn't have to do Bayer like that. But I applaud him for taking such a selfie!
Shoko trying to explain how RCT works actually irritated Satoru... which is rare!
Riko actually was the first to defeat Satoru. Did him dirty!! Suguru actually laughs at Satoru getting slapped while in the anime he looks shocked. Either way, his reaction is funny as hell.
"You look like a liar! And what's up with those bangs?" Then Riko got jumped for that!
Suguru's bangs ain't that bad, come on!
Knowing how Suguru turns out, it's something he's the one to tell Kuroi that she's Riko's family. Years later, he had his own "family". It's actually heartwarming he tells her that.
That old man didn't even get touched yet and he was already seeing his dead dog from 50 years ago!! Man's life flashed right before his eyes and he even says that! The whooping Suguru put on him was so bad that he was having visions!!
The one time Satoru is shown to have some sort of charm is with a bunch of school girls. The teacher should be locked up though.
Baghead man really had on the All Might cosplay.
Toji didn't have to say a word to that man and he still scared him shitless. Alright, Toji, I see you being all scary!
Satoru really be carrying kids like they're bags of groceries. Did it with Yuji, he did it with Riko.
"I failed!"
Kuroi being rescued! Satoru really stomped on those guys!
The plane scene. Satoru checking each passenger all with a glare. Meanwhile, Suguru was just chilling with a book, sitting there all pretty.
The whole beach scene!! "IT'S A SEA CUCUMBER!!"
Teen Kento having that hairstyle and his dynamic with Yu is just too adorable. He looks like he has Wii music playing in his head all day. Such a good kid!!
I cannot believe that DIO's VA is also Toji's. It's funnier when Toji has had beef with Satoru as a kid and DIO has had generational beef with the Joestars.
I just know that Worm Curse was having the time of its life on Toji's back while he was jumping around and being tossed about. Also, Toji smiling the whole time while fighting.
Suguru actually has mad hops! Did y'all not see that long ass jump?!
Squid gun. Speaking of, where in the hell did all those squids come from?! I need a story on that one!
Toji talking about how he fights for a while before Suguru tells him to shut up and due.
"Am I pretty?" "Sorry, you're not my type." Okay, well, damn.
The Worm Curse pretty much "NOPE" at Suguru.
That kick was fucking personal, I just know it! Also, the fact that Toji actually thought about the curses inhabiting Suguru's body is something. Especially, given later. I actually question that when Suguru dies in JJK 0, did Satoru have to deal with any curses?
Toji remembering Megumi.
Also, if you pay attention to the Worm, that thing sometimes matches Toji's expressions. It's like Reki and his headband (SK8 the Infinity).
Satoru standing all menacingly outside for Toji.
"Is he high?" Well, given that a few moments later he'll be floating in the air.
The fact that people have described Toji's death as "turned into the Apple logo" to "the Rengoku treatment". Y'all are out of pocket! And he looked so disappointed, too.
"Mommy... hug me..." That scene is just...
"I like girls with healthy appetites!" Yu, never change!!
Yuki's reaction to what Suguru tells her about what he has heard about her. "She's pouting."
"I heard you the first time. That's why I said 'huh'!" Bro was just that mad.
Shoko. Just Shoko when she and Suguru meet in Shinjuku.
Heartbreaking as the scene is, you had one lanky ass teenager looking deranged on one end and the other with the "I'm going to the store real quick" fit on having this fight in front of KFC. Becomes even funnier when you remember the slogan "finger lickin' good". What does this have to do with anything? Think about Yuji.
One, where did Suguru get the robes from? Two, given he was born the following year in February after Satoru, if I did my calculations right... Suguru really started a cult at 17. No wonder there were objections. After he killed that guy, I'm sure everyone was like "oh, he's unhinged".
Okay, but the head rubs he gave the twins were so cute!! Look, they may been raised as killers, but it's sweet that they were Suguru's family. He adored those girls and they adored him!
The first meeting between Megumi and Satoru!!
Satoru waking up and seeing his students was just so heartwarming!!!
#i had this in my drafts since February oh my gosh#just kiya's thoughts#jjk#jujutsu kaisen#premature death arc#hidden inventory arc#geto suguru#gojo satoru#haibara yu#ieiri shoko#iori utahime#nanami kento#fushiguro toji#amanai riko#tsukumo yuki

Sorry if this has already been asked before, but have you ever thought about writing a sequel to SoH? I know you said it would be a stand-alone book, but I think a sequel where we explore different continents would be extremely cool. I just love these character so much and idk if I’m ready to say goodbye. I know we still have a bit left but still…
Hi there, this message has been sitting in a long queue of messages I've fallen behind on answering for a while now, but I just wanted to say thank you for taking the time to send it! It ended up being extremely thought-provoking for me, and you may have single-handedly made me reconsider my stance on a Shepherds sequel! XD
I always planned on this entry being a standalone game, though I was toying with the idea of eventually writing a sequel that follows a separate cast of characters (aka different protagonist and companions, though with room for potential cameos with the old characters). Pretty much like how Dragon Age does it! I won't go into the potential plot details now, but I was thinking it might take place sometime between 10-15 years in the future, and it would follow "a new generation" of Shepherds in a different locale. I've sort of hazily cobbled together ideas for the story/main premise, but companions outside of the main protagonist have eluded me at the moment--I really need to focus on this game, its DLC, and my next book first, so I haven't given it too much thought!
However, your comment has unearthed some feelings I've been having about a potential sequel, too! It's hard for me to feel like I'd be ready to say goodbye to the cast, as well... It's so easy for me to write them because they've been in my head for so many years, and starting an adventure in the world of Blest with different and new characters admittedly feels a bit strange. It's like having to hang back a grade while all of your friends graduate high school and then looking around at the incoming freshman class like "welp, I guess you guys are my friends now! 😒" lol. I'm torn on the issue: I don't want to not challenge myself or refuse to move out of my comfort zone as a writer--in short, I don't want to be the kind of writer who recycles the same characters and material because doing something new is daunting to me, and I don't want you all to feel like I'm making endless sequels/trying to recapture old magic and should just move on to something new, either--but I do love my cast and I'm not sure yet if I should definitively say, "No, their chapter is done with this game and it's on to the next!", because I can see so many adventures happening to them even after this story is over!
The problem lies with endings--there are so many different endings planned for this game that I hesitate in treating any of them as the true or canonical one, but otherwise trying to account for all of them in a sequel feels quite impossible to accomplish when I wasn't planning on a continuation--along with other logistical concerns that I can't get into at the moment. Like, what if you end the game with all of the Shepherds except Halek dead? What if your friend ends the game with all of them alive, but the MC is dead? This game alone is already 1 million words, but a direct sequel would probably wrack up hundreds of thousands of variations based on all of these choices in its first chapter alone!
That's why I figure DLC is the happy medium here: you can expand on or create new content and adventures for the characters, but slot them into the timeline wherever you wish, like in between Chapter 7 and 8, etc. And episodic adventures might keep things small and streamlined enough that I can update them more consistently, rather than hacking away at one giant sequel game!
Aaaaaanyway... All this is to say: I have a lot to think about! Absolutely nothing has been decided yet (not even close), but these are just some of the things I've had rattling around in my head. Thank you again for your sweet and honest words: I'm glad you're so fond of these characters and would miss them. I would, too! But whatever ends up happening, I know this game won't be the last time we see them. :)
Thanks again!

Between the Lines 2
Warnings: non/dubcon, Lee is rude, customer service triggers. and other dark elements. My username actually says you never asked for any of this.
Characters:Lee Bodecker
Part of the Bookstore AU
My warnings are not exhaustive but be aware this is a dark fic and may include potentially triggering topics. Please use your common sense when consuming content. I am not responsible for your decisions.
As usual, I would appreciate any and all feedback. I’m happy to once more go on this adventure with all of you! Thank you in advance for your comments and for reblogging.
Another day, another shift. It starts off less than ideal. Traffic is a slog and there’s customers outside waiting for open as you walk up. You have to escape them like a zombie horde to get inside. This time of year, they tend to resemble extras in The Walking Dead.
You put your things in the back and punch in. You help Giselle with the opening list as her lashes droop precariously. She’s never very awake on her morning shifts. As you balance the till, she yawns and checks her phone.
“That old lady is out again. Something about her back,” she pops a piece of gum in her mouth and starts chewing noisily. “Not like she could do much more than wring her hands.”
“Oh, that’s too bad,” you login and look across the store. You prefer being on the floor but you won’t get to stretch your legs until after noon.
“Eh, whatever. Not many seasonals this year,” she drones, “good, I don’t have to put up with children.”
You glance at her. She’s not much older than the high school students who come in to work the holiday sales. She’s just into her sophomore year and has the false sense of authority that often replaces the freshman fear.
You won’t mention that you have a masters and you’re still standing in the same place as her. Albeit, you’re full time and a pay grade higher. Still, it’s not that steep a gap between you.
The first customers are let in and swiftly fan out in their missions. A man comes up to ask about Tom Clancy’s novels and you point him in the right direction, telling him that Colton will be there to help out. He thanks you and shuffles away.
The morning drags by as you ring through the early birds. It’s that time of day where everyone is still waking up and seems to have something to complain about. You’ve suggested complementary coffee in hopes that it might quell their gripes.
Around eleven, you lean on the counter, the store effectively empty, and your headset crackles. Your name is called over the line to go to the operations room. You look at Giselle but she’s transfixed on her phone. She doesn’t even hear you say you’ll be right back.
The assistant manager, Colin, greets you in the operations room, one desk empty as he sits in another and wiggles a pen. You hover by the door as he keeps his focus on the monitor. For people who work in a bookstore, they do prefer the digital to the hard copy.
“Alright, let’s not waste time,” he leans back, finally tearing his attention from the computer, “got a complaint about you.”
“What?” You frown.
“Doing customer surveys, the online ones. This one’s particularly glowing,” he squints at the monitor again, “‘extremely dismissive and condescending. Kept trying to walk away’.”
“I never… are you sure it’s me?”
“They got your name. I went over the tape and it tracks. This guy, cop it looks like, you walked away twice. Why?” Colin points the pen at you derisively.
“Um, well, he told me to but changed his mind,” your eyes flutter as your nerves wind up. God, it has to be that jerk officer. “I did help him but he didn’t seem to want it.”
“Not what he says and he is a customer,” Colin sighs, “going to have to write you up, sweetie.”
You blink and hold your eyes shut. This is bullshit. You know better than to voice that thought.
“A write-up?”
“Relax, you got three before we do anything,” he pulls a paper over the desk and turns it towards you, “take the slap on the wrist and get back out there. It’s books. Just… smile a bit more and…” he pauses, his gaze dipping beneath your face, “maybe push your shoulders back. Posture’s important.”
You sniff back your disgust. You know what he means. Shoulders back; chest out. Gross. You cross the room and take the pen, reading over the write-up and the comments copy-pasted from the survey. Wow, what a jackass. You sign. Despite being a corporate peon, Colin’s right. It’s easier to just take the mark on your record.
“Thanks, sweetie,” he slides the paper away, “get back on the till.”
You nod and back out of the office. You shake your head as you stride through the store. This is so stupid and where the hell is Mr. Pine? He would’ve at least heard you out and overridden this nonsense decision. He’s been elusive lately and it shows.
You get back to cash as Giselle pops her gum noisily, “where were you, I gotta pee.”
“Go,” you wave her off as you step up behind the machine, “dead in here anyway.”
🚓
The day ends in the furor of after-work shoppers. You finally get free of the rush and into the lot. The air is crisp and whispers of the coming snows. Not quite cold enough as only a cold mist flecks down and has the tarmac shining black.
You go to your car and fish out your keys. As you do, someone rolls up behind your bumper and stops, exhaust puffing up in a stink. You shove the key in the door and glance over as someone gets out, staring at you over the roof of the cruiser. What the hell?
“Finished for the day?” The officer asks, the very same blight you had the pleasure of meeting the other day.
“Yes, officer.”
“Don’t sound so happy,” he comments, “nasty weather, huh?”
“Mhmm,” you nod and open your door, throwing your bag across to the passenger side.
“You’re being shifty… you nervous around cops?” He challenges as he rounds the hood of his car, nonchalantly idling in the lane.
“No,” you shrug, “I’m just headed home. Worked a long day, sir.”
“Oh yeah? You work so hard, don’t ya?” He scoffs, “smiles all worn out, ain’t it?”
He looms close, putting his hand on the roof of your car as his other comes up to touch your chin. You step back to look at him, crowded against the open door. You gape at him, heart pumping wildly.
“Officer, can I help you with something?”
“Sheriff,” he taps the star emblazoned on his coat, just under the fleecy collar, “I’m not lookin’ for your help, don’t you worry, but you look like you got a load on ya so I’m just doing my duty here and checkin’ in.”
You set your jaw. You’re not working, you have no obligation to pander. You’re parked between the lines, your insurance is up to date, and you’re tired as fuck.
“I’m good, sir. Thanks for asking. I gotta get home.”
He smiles, his hand falling to your scarf. He fixes the fabric as you fidget, resisting the voice that hollers at you to push him away. Assault on an officer is the last thing you need.
“Get home and cozy, huh?” He smirks, his blue eyes sparkling, “got someone special waitin’ on ya?”
“Sir?” You frown.
“Dangerous livin’ alone. I’m just makin’ sure you’re safe.”
You clamp your lips tight. He wrote a whole essay about you’re disservice to him, so why is he bothering you now? This is quite the power trip.
“Fine, sir. My cat will be hungry, so uh…”
“Ah, one of those,” he snorts and pulls away.
“One of…” your voice trails back.
“Don’t need no man,” he tuts, “you got your cat. They all say that before they know what’s what.” He wags his fingers as he backs away, “there’s only so much you can learn from books, you’ll see.”
You stare, frozen in place. Is that a threat? Is this all because you tried to help him? Because you didn’t just take his entitlement and swallow it like cherry pie? As absurd as it seems, it’s still scary as hell.

Giyuu Tomioka x Fem! Reader.
Murder Mystery AU!
Also Modern Times AU
Giyuu Tomioka is your rival since middle school. You two always argued who got better grades. Not only you two went to the same highschool, college but also now university! What will happen if you two will end up on the same party?
Warning: NSFW! Strong language! Death! Suicide The fanfic was inspired by the movie "Bodies Bodies Bodies." English isn't my first language.
-Reader, are you ready for fun!?- Mitsuri asked me as she walked into our room. She's already in her pink-green dress. Of course as always showing off big part of her chest. It's not like I don't like it but she's going to give Iguro a heart attack. Again...
-Yeah, but there are like millions of parties. Why do we have to go to one that is in forest?- I asked her. I was (if you want you can wear something else but I will now write canon) wearing a little red top, blue jeans, and red sneakers. I was showing off my midriff.
-Becouse Tengen is inviting us.- Mitsuri said. That says a lot. Tengen's parties are always the ones that you never forget, no matter how drunk you are. He's a big party freak, from making out with his three girlfriends in front of everyone to dancing break dance on the ceiling while being high and drunk.
-I'm scared what he wants to do in the middle of the fucking forest. It's scary enought that we know he has orgies with his girlfriends everyday which is I don't know if healthy for his prostate. What if he wants to I don't know... I DON'T FUCKING KNOW! He's unpredictable!- I shouted.
-Don't worry Reader about Tengen's prostate, it's his problem. I'll make sure nothing too sexual that could give some of us HIV won't happen.- Shinobu said as she walked into the room. She's wearing a violet shirt and black skirt.
-Thanks, Shinobu. You're saving my vagina.- I said and stood up from my bed.
-As always.- Shinobu added.
-Let's go and not get STD!- Mitsuri shouted exited.
TIME SKIP.
-Tengen, you motherfucker. Where do you get money from? Your dick?- I asked Tengen as I got out of the car. This isn't a fucking house. It's a villa or penthouse, I don't know. Kanao looked quite scared so I took her hand in a gentle grip.
-Good shot but not that close. My family is old money. My great great something gradpa was in a clan but got out of it and made quite a fortune himself by being some warrior.- Tengen said as we walked into the house.
-Is Iguro already here?- Mitsuri asked looking around.
-Is Sanemi already here?- Kanae asked also looking around. She came with us becouse Shinobu is her sister.
What simps. I'm never going to be like them. I looked outside into the garden and yard. Uhhh Giyuu in swimsuit, nice view. It's not like I like him or smth but oh my God. These abs, this six pack. NO READER YOU ARE NOT HORNY FOR A MAN THAT LITERALLY IN SOME WAY MAY STALK YOU! IT'S NOT COLLEEN HOOVER BOOK!
-Iguro is in the pool with Sanemi, Giyuu, Kyojuro, Genya, Tanjirou, Zenitsu, Inosuke, Hiroshi, Atsushi and Nana . We'll start partying in the house when it'll get dark or start raining.- Tengen said and opened door to the pool with garden. Our friedns were there.
-Hey!- Rengoku said while swimming. It looked as if he was training as always.
-Hey Kanae! And... others...- Sanemi said while sunbathing.
-Hey Mitsuri.- Iguro said while sitting in the in the shade of a tree.
-Hey everyone!- Tanjirou said while trying to swim as fast as Rengoku.
-Hey!- Genya said with a smile while sitting next to Sanemi (my baby Genya...).
-Hey, girls. Why aren't you in swimsuits?- Zenitsu asked with a blush while sitting on a inflatable duck.
-Does any of you want to compete with me in who can do the biggest jump!?- Inosuke asked and jumped into the water.
-Hey...- Giyuu said while just standing beside the pool.
-It's nice to see you guys!- Mitsuri shouted as we walked into the garden. I tried not to look at Giyuu.
-What about our two biggest nerds drink a little?- Tengen said and pushed me into Giyuu. I quickly moved away from him annoyed. Tengen gave everyone just not Tanjirou, Zenitsu, Inosuke and Kanao cups of alcohol.
-Nice to see you Giyuu...- I said reluctantly.
-Also nice to see you Reader...- He said also reluctantly and we both drank.
-Jesus Christ. It's...- I didn't end the sentence.
-Strong. Tengen plans now to have us all drunk. Making drama and funny situations I guess.- Giyuu said and put his cup on the table.
-I think that it's better for us two to stay sober if something happens. You never know with Uzui.- I commented and also put my cup on the table.
-Yeah, pool and alcohol isn't a good match.- he agreed with me.
-What about you girls go and change into swimsuits so we can get the party started? The bathrooms are on the left.- Tengen said and pointed at the deep of the house.
-Kanao can you stay with the boys while we go change, okay?- I asked her and she nodded her head. Kanao didn't like swimming around so many people so she didn't bring the swimsuit.
-Okay! Shinobu! You have our swimsuits, right?- Mitsuri asked her.
-Of course I do. What would you guys do without me?- Shinobu said while holding the bag with swimsuits.
I gave Giyuu one last glance and left him with Kanao.
TIME SKIP
-Reader! Why are you dry? Go swimming with us!- Misturi said and got out of the pool. As always she's showing a lot of her chest. It's not like I don't like it. I'm now sitting on the sunbed.
-Sorry but I can't swim today.- I said. I had on myself shorts and top of the swimsuit.
-But!- Mitsuri tried to reason with me.
-Mitsuri, I love you but I really can't.- I said. Mitsuri got closer to me and whipered to my ear.
-Why didn't you bring tampons?- Mitsuri asked me.
-My vagina doesn't like tampons.- I whispered.
-Mitsuri! I chellenge you for a swimming contest!- Kyojuro shouted with energy and happiness.
-YEAH!- Mitsuri quickly jumped into the water leaving me alone but not really.
I looked at Tanjirou who was now sitting on a chair tired. Hope she won't look like that after this.
-So you can't swim?- Giyuu asked me. He was laying o the sunbed next to me.
-Giyuu, don't make a small talk. That's american. And yeah I can't swim today.- I answered not really nicely.
-You don't really show up to parties often. What made you come here?- Giyuu asked me and put on his sunglasses.
-First off. You're my stalker or something? Second off. You look funny now.- I said and laughed.
-We just know each other for a long time and I can see it when you're not in the group.- He said like if it was some big problem.
-I have sometimes just more important thing, you know? And I came today becouse I want to relax a bit.- I said and gave him a look.
-Guys, it's starting to rain!- Zenitsu shouted.
-No it's not! You're just wet!- Inosuke shouted and splashed him with water. Few rain drops fell on me. I got up with Giyuu.
-Zenitsu is right it's starting to rain.- I said. Everyone started taking their stuff as the rain began to fall more heavily.
I took my bag and started heading inside. I slipped on the grass and fell.
-Fuck.- I cursed and sat up. Giyuu took my arm and helped me get up but then he didn't let go of it and ran with me to the inside.
-As we see our love birds as always together.- Tengen commented. Everyone were already inside and we were the last ones to get in. Giyuu let go of my arm and looked away.
-Okay, okay. Don't shit yourself.- I said and put my bag on the couch. Everyone started to have their own conversations mostly about how no one knew about storm coming.
-Reader, how is it that you say that you don't like Giyuu and don't want to be around him but on parties you always sit near him or talk to him the most?- Shinobu asked me.
-Coincidences.- I said and put on a shirt. I looked out of the window. It was already dark outside.
-I don't really belive it. Do you possibly have a crush on him?- Shinobu asked me and I got nervous.
-Me and him? Yeah maybe in other universe.- I chuckled and gave her a shirt to warm up.
-In other universe you proprably said the same thing.- Shinobu said with a little smile and put on the shirt.
-Yeah yeah. Stop looking for some drama's. You're not going to find any.- I said and crossed my arms.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!
A scream and loud banging came from the window outside. It was Atsushi. His stomach was bleeding. Hew as banging on the window in agony and horror. After a second he fell on the grass.
-OH MY GOD!- Mitsuri shouted terrified. Iguro quickly hugged her and covered her eyes. Sanemi did this as well to Kanae.
Others screamed. I quickly opened the door to outside and ran up to Atsushi.
He wasn't moving, proprably also breathing. I checked his pulse.
-He's dead!- I shouted so everyone could hear through the rain.
I heard screams and cries. Giyuu, Kyojuro, Tengen and Genya walked up to me and the dead body. I looked at the Atsushi more closely. His shirt was put on front on the back and back on the front for some reason.
-Turn him around!- I said and started trying to turn him around. Men without asking did it with me.
He was stabbed on the back, few buttons of his shirt were taken out.
-What psycho would do such a thing?- Genya asked himself while looking at this.
-I don't know. Sanemi! CALL POLICE!!!- I screamed to him.
Sanemi took out his phone and dialed the number.
-NO FUCKING SIGNAL!!!- Sanemi screamed back.
-OF FUCKING COURSE!!!- I cursed and looked down at Atsushi.
-We need to get back into the house. Whoever did this is proprably still outside.- Giyuu said and got up.
-Giyuu is right, let's go.- Kyojuro said with serious expression on his face.
-But... Okay...- I sighned while looking at the dead body and stood up.
We walked into the house and locked the door.
-Okay, everyone. Atsushi is dead. We're all sad becouse it's death but we can't forget about our safety. Lock every window and every door that leeds to outside. The killer is proprably outside. Now! Quick!- I shouted.
Everyone started closing the windows and doors in the house except for Zenitsu. He was just sitting on the couch looking at a wall.
-Hey, are you okay?- I asked him and sat next to him. Zenitsu was still looking at the wall.
-Reader-chan. How is that possible? He died in front of us... I saw him alive just twenty minutes ago.- he said quietly.
-Don't worry, Zenitsu. Now he doesn't feel any pain.- I hugged him and took a deeep breath to also calm down.
-But who will be next? Me?- he asked and started crying. He held onto me tightly.
-I will make sure that no one will be next. Not today.- I said. I moved slightly away and touched his shoulder.
-Thank you, Reader-chan.- Zenitsu tried to smile but it didn't really wokred.
-So everything is closed we need to think what we need to do next.- Kyojuro said as everyone walked into the living room.
-Surely we all need to stay in one room for no one to get attacked.- Shinobu hummed and sat on the other couch like the others.
-Yeah, what if one of us is the killer?- Inosuke asked and everyone started looking around.
-Don't say something like that Inosuke! We all we're inside when Atsushi got stabbed. The killer must be someone who wasn't invited to the party or we just don't even know.- Tanjirou said bravely.
-Wait, why Atsushi didn't go inside with us?- Genya asked everyone.
-I don't know...- Kanae said.
-Me too...- Tengen exclaimed.
-Okay, no one knows why he didn't go with us be we all know that it's not safe here. Why won't we just drive to the police station?- Sanemi asked with as always rushed and rough tone.
-Exactly. Get the keys. We left them at the entrence.- Hiroshi said and pointed at the door of the hallway.
Everyone walked into the hallway. Sanemi, Kanae and Giyuu took keys to their cars. We got out of the house after getting out things and walked into the little parking that was part of the property.
-Are you fucking kidding me!?- Sanemi shouted. A big tree fell ealier on the three cars. Lightning proprably struck it. The rain and night sky made everything so gloomy.
-Ehhh, let's head back inside.- Tengen said, the rest agreed and we went back to the house.
-Fuck, I have nothing to change into.- I said while looking at my soaked clothes. Everyone got into the living room.
-Have this.- Giyuu said and gave me a blue towel.
-Thanks.- I sighned and put the towel on myself.
-If you need anything just tell me.- Giyuu said and touched my shoulder.
-Thanks???- I looked at him confused.
-It's kinda suspisious.- Sanemi said.
-What is?- Tengen asked him.
-Giyuu, Atsushi and hour ago died and you're already making a move on a girl he had a crush on?- Sanemi walked up to Giyuu.
-I'm not making a move. Just helping her.- Giyuu said not intimidated by Sanemi.
-Atsushi had a crush on me?- I asked Sanemi shocked.
-Oh hell yeah he did. He told everyone including Giyuu how he wants to confess to you at the party and bum. He gets killed. Giyuu and you were close in some way since middle school so I wouldn't be shocked if he got jealous and snapped.- Sanemi explained while looking directly on Giyuu. Everyone looked at him.
-Giyuu couldn't kill Atsushi becouse he was with me inside at the time of the murder.- I said and walked up to both of them.
-Yeah.- Tengen said.
-As always you're making sure your 'innocent stalker' gets away with things.- Sanemi argued.
-He isn't a stalker and I'm saying truth. Stop trying to blame Giyuu when you know he's not a killer.- I argued back.
-Yeah, but how is it that we never talk about how he has pictures of you in his closet?- Sanemi said it louder so everyone could hear. All eyes were on us.
-Everyone has few pictures of their friends somewhere.- I crossed my arms.
-Yeah yeah, but only you are on them. No one fucking else. He hides something or you two hide something!- Sanemi shouted.
I looked at Giyuu and he just nodded his head.
-We've been secretly dating since college.- Giyuu already said it. Everyone freezed.
-What?! But Reader is so mean to you!- Mitsuri shouted shocked.
-We did that so you guys wouldn't realise that we're dating.- Giyuu answered.
-Is that true, Reader? Giyuu isn't black mailing you or something?- Shinobu asked me.
-It's true. And that's why we didn't tell you. Most of you look for dramas in relationships. We only told Kyojuro, Tanjirou, Kanao and Kanae becouse they don't talk bad about couples behind their back nor tell anyone about this.- I explained.
-I'm sorry...- Mitsuri said and looked down.
-You have nothing to be sorry about. It's just your nature to talk about things that you think about.- I said and hugged her as she hugged me back.
-Damn, so Giyuu is not a virgin.- Tengen commented.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!
A scream and few thuds came from the other side of the house.
-What was that?- Kanae asked shocked.
-Let's go and see.- Sanemi said and ran.
Everyone started heading towards the sound. I took an umbrella in case to fight off someone.
When we got there we saw Nana at the end of the stairs laying on the floor in blood.
-Not again...- I said and walked up to her with the others. She was laying on her back lifeless. I checked her pulse.
-She's dead.- I sighned and covered my eyes with my hand. Giyuu made me stand up by gently holding my shoulders. He then hugged me.
-I think that someone may have pushed her. If she fell herself then she would lay on her stomach.- Shinobu said.
-This had gone too far.- Iguro said.
The lights went off. It was pitch black for few seconds.
-Why did the lights went off?- Mitsuri asked.
-Proprably becouse of the storm. Giyuu and Reader, go look for flashilights in the basement. You two are the only ones who had some classess like karate or smth. The rest of us will go to the living room. Okay?- Tengen asked us.
-Eh, okay.- I said with a sighn.
We went the other way to the basement.
-I feel weird now that everyone knows that we're dating.- Giyuu said while holding my hand.
-Yeah, me too. You really have hidden pictures of me in your closet?- I asked him and he blushed.
-I may or may not have them.-Giyuu answered.
-I didn't really knew Nana nor Atsushi but I seeing them lying like that is just... Fucking traumatising.- I changed the subject.
-I know. It's very fucked up. I hope you will forget about this.- he said and his grip on my hand became a bit tighter. I opened the door to the basement and we started going down the stairs in silence.
When we reached the end of the stairs I quickly lit a match to see something.
-Look...- Giyuu whispered and pointed at some box. We walked up to it. There were flashlights in it, Giyuu took one and turned it on. I blew out the match.
-This basement is weirdly small, but there are doors to some other room. Are we going in?- he asked me. I took a flashlight for myself and turned it on.
-Yeah.. You live once.- I said. We walked up to the door. He stopped me from opening it and opened it himself.
-Jesus Christ.- he said with a sighn as he got into the room.
-What? Oh my god.- I said as I saw it.
There were a lot of monitors on the wall that showed views from cameras.
-How Tengen could forget about having cameras?- I asked Giyuu and sat on a chair in front of the monitors.
-He had few shots before you came.- Giyuu answered while standing behind me.
-Look, there is a camera where Atsushi died.- I said. I started changing time on the monitor.
-Already we can see who killed him unless it's someone with a mask.- Giyuu said.
The scene showed Atsushi who is was putting on the shirt backwards. He took the knife and started taking off the buttons of his shirt with the knife He fell becouse of a lightning which had previously fallen a tree on our cars.
-He literally stabbed himself!- I shouted and threw the towel I had on myself on the floor.
-Look what happend at the stairs.- Giyuu put a hand on my shoulder calming me down. I did what he told me.
Nana was walking down the stairs with her cup of alcohol then suddenly she accidently dropped it and tripped over it.
-Are you kidding me?- I said and hit my forehead with my hand.
-So there is no killer.- Giyuu sighned.
-Yeah and I'm happy about it but, we were so fucking scared for nothing!- I said and crossed my arms.
-I know.- he murmured. I stood up and he hugged me.
-So do we go to them and tell them that there is no killer in the house?- I asekd him.
-Yeah, we actually do that now or Zenitsu will have a heart attack.-
TIME SKIP.
-So really she tripped on the stairs and he stabbed himself? We need to see that.- Tengen said.
-Then go, we are tired as hell and going to bed.- I leaned on the Giyuu as we started walking towards one of the guests bedroom.
-Together?- Mitsuri asked with a smile.
-As you can see.- I said.
NSFW STARTS HERE
We walked into the bedroom. As soon as I saw the bed I threw myself on it and layed on my stomach. Giyuu started taking off my pants.
-What are you doing you pervert?- I asked him and chuckled.
-Helping you in getting ready to sleep.- He answered when he took them all of and threw them at some chair he squished my butt gently.
-More in getting ready to fuck.- I commented and opened my legs wider. He took off my top and then my bra.
-Two in one.- he said. For a while he didn't do anything to me but then I heard him threwing his clothes somewhere.
-Are you going to just sit behind me or do some... fuck.- I moaned as I felt his hand touching my clit through my panties. His fingers started to press on my button and at the entrence. I started streching out my butt out of sensation. Giyuu lay down on me.
-I love you...- He murmured while kissing my chin.
-I love you too but fuck...- I said and started grinding my butt against his boxers.
-I see you're already wet and horny as hell, me too. What about we take these off?- He asked me while making circles on my clit throught my panties.
Hope you liked it :)

Study stress
Soft!Amber Sweet x fem!reader
You and Amber had only been dating for a week when she visited your home for the first time. You lived mostly on your own, with your parents working five to six days a week at Geneco, leaving you at home alone the entire time. It was a tiny, one-story home with two bedrooms.
But Amber enjoyed it. Her residence was not a house; it was a very large structure with the words Geneco on it. Her father wasn't around much, constantly sitting in the same chair in his office, watching and waiting for the next graverobber to get caught.
It was finals week at college, so you sat down and studied all day every day. Amber Sweet didn't get it; she avoided college and waited for her father to depart from the company so she could take over. She went with the flow and continued to take Zydrate, adding to her list of surgeries and her ever-changing appearance. Which was something you didn't get.
When she came over, you were studying for your biology final, which prompted you to have several mental meltdowns. It was your worst class, and the final could make or break your grade.
Your eyes were red and swollen, and your nose had backed up. You had been sobbing out of irritation and fury. You were wrapping up an anatomy problem when you heard someone knocking on your bedroom door.
You turned over and saw Amber standing there with a vial of Zydrate and two cups of coffee.
"Look what I-" she began, still wearing her Zydrate pickup disguise. When she realised what she was seeing, she raised her brow.
You were covered in a black and furry blanket. You wore sweatpants and one of her silk robes. Your hair was arranged in a bun on top of your head. Your left foot was in the chair, and your knee was resting on your chest. It was clear you'd been sobbing.
"Babe, are you okay?" She enquired, a little high on zydrate.
"No." Your speech sounded nasally, and you sniffled.
"What's wrong?"
"This is my biology final. I'm going to flunk it, and then I'll fail the course." A sob escaped your lips.
She cautiously stepped over, stumbling a little on the way and squatted next to you. She grabbed the pencil from your fingers and set it down, shutting your book with your paper inside.
"What are you doing?" you questioned.
"You deserve a break."
"No, I can't. It's late, and my test is at eight in the morning."
"Sh. "Come here. She rose up and grabbed your hands, dragging you to your feet. "Tell me what you need." She spoke softly, slurring, but rapidly recovered.
"What is it?"
"Please tell me what you need. Anything. "Food, medication, music, whatever." She cut you off as you were saying, "I need to study." "Something other than studying." You exhaled.
You understood just what you needed: a hug. You simply wanted someone to embrace you and allow you to weep, but you didn't know how to ask for it.
Your capacity to beg for affection was hampered by the lack of your parents' presence to provide you with hugs and comfort. Amber learnt about this a week after you two met.
You had a huge exam coming up in your chemistry class, and she offered to hug you, which you declined, perplexed by how nice she was being. She attempted hugging you many more times, but each time you became more upset, so she rolled her eyes and ultimately gave up.
"Come on, Babe. "I know you need something." She smirked as she stated this.
"I need to study."
"No. There will be no more studying for now. You are taking a break. Then you may study until your heart's content. "I just..." "I hate seeing you upset and stressed."
You grumbled in confusion but were pleased to see her be kind to you. "I know what I need, but it makes me uncomfortable."
"If it helps you feel better, let me know. "You know I'm not going to judge."
You nodded. "I think I just need… a hug."
"Is that it? "Just a hug?" You nodded. She opened his arms and drew you within. You did not hug back at first. You were not used to having someone's arms around you. But the longer she embraced you, the more comfortable it seemed. the more natural it felt.
You lifted your arms and tucked them beneath her breasts. You buried your face into her chest, and another uncontrolled sob filled the room.
"Sh, it's okay," she said. "I'm here, and I won't leave until you ask me to, okay?"
"Okay," you whispered.
“You wanna lay down?” You nodded. “Alright. First, let me do something.” Amber pulled the hair tie out of your hair and let your hair fall to your shoulders, smiling. “Beautiful,” she purred, feeling her breath reach your ears. You smiled. “There’s that smile.”
She led you to your bed and laid next you, wrapping her arms around you and bringing you into her neck, one arm over your shoulder and the other softly combing through your brown hair.
"Thank you," you responded.
"Absolutely. "Do you think I'm going to let my girlfriend struggle in silence?"
You smiled. "What a softy."
You gazed up at her, and she kissed your forehead. "I wish we could just stay like this all night."
"We could."
"I have to study, Amber."
"Yes, I understand. But we are doing this after your final. You're already much more calm. "I can tell."
"You're not wrong."
"I'm never wrong." She triumphantly stated, smirking.
"Not wrong about that, either."
It wasn't long until Amber fell asleep. You listened to her slumber and watched her chest rise and fall for a few minutes before carefully removing yourself from her arms and returning to your workstation to resume working on your study guide.
Having Amber there made it less tense and more relaxed, and you finished pretty quickly with her there.

Hellooo ! Can you write about bakugou being our bully since we were kids?? Loveur contect!
Heya! Anon, you didn't give me more specifics so I went with the "boys are mean when they like you" route. Hope you like this~
CW: Bullying, emotional manipulation, threats, coercion, angst, dark content
Childhood bully Bakugo
There has to be a reason for Bakugo to bully you since kids although, to be fair, anything could've triggered that reaction from him. Quirkless? Chasing after a big dream? Perhaps you are better on something he is not. Or maybe people likes you more! Whatever the reason is, Bakugo's grip on you gets progressively worse with time, not as bad as Deku's dynamic with him, but still.
Bakugo's mom likes you a lot, by the way; she always encouraged you to play with his sonny. If only she knew...
As a kid, Bakugo would tend to pull your hair whenever you were too happy about something, sometimes sticking gum to it so you'd have a hard time later. Something about your smile made him feel...weird, and don't get me started with your laughter. He also disliked how much adults and classmates praised you when you did a good job. Why? Because he's supposed to be the best! So if it was him who did good and got praised, he'd look at you with the most smug smile a kid can make and start saying things like "See? That's how you do it! Maybe learn."
Sometimes, just sometimes, he'd be a little bit nicer, scaring away other bullies that would annoy you. Your tiny brain couldn't understand why, so you'd only thank him and scurry away.
Don't get me started with Deku. If you had a nice friendship with Izuku as a kid, Bakugo used that as an excuse to be even more mean to you. "Friend of a loser is also a loser". Besides, he hates seeing you with the freckled boy, even after growing up. The blond can't pin point what bothers him so much about it, but he truly wants to vanish Deku with his own hands whenever you chitchat with him. He'd tease the greenette telling him he was your boyfriend of sorts, but he stopped once he realized Izuku actually liked you. It angered him to know that, getting rough with you.
Teen years of course allowed you to be more adventurous, and while you may have changed a lot, Bakugo was still the same prick to you and Izuku. How Bakugo behaves depends on your personality: if you allow him to bend you until you break, he'll do, just like how he did with Izuku. If you don't get bothered anymore by his antics, he'll retaliate. The only way you had to reduce his antics was to fight back. Mitsuki, Bakugo's mom, always asked why you stopped visiting; you never had the guts to tell her.
Highschool was an odd period for you an Izuku, but not weirder than your time in UA. Bakugo would hang out with his "friends" and annoy you in every given chance. Low grades? He had better ones. High grades? You were such a nerd. Trying to make new friends? He'd scare them away from you because he hated the idea of someone else being with you. Bakugo was the dragon of your tower, scorching any possibility of running away.
If you had the balls to stand up for yourself and Izuku, he'd get pissy. "How dare you talk back to me?" But he wouldn't do more than yelling. It's weakness that makes him worse, being passive triggers a violent response from him because "Why are you not paying attention?" He'd hide your stuff, throw out your books, write things on your desk. He wanted a reaction. Bakugo needs to know he is getting through you, he needs to know he is on top of you and owns you.
The beginning of your stay at UA was a bit scary, specially because Bakugo's behavior got amplified by the opportunity of being "the best". He was already angry that Izuku managed to get in (it surprised you too, honestly, but were happy for him), so you getting in too was a plus. Izuku and you were still very close because of your shared experience with the blond, both of you wary of the reality. Bakugo despised the way you'd protect and take care of Deku, to the point where he warned you that if you continued, you'd make it worse for Izuku. Low-key coerces you to bully Izuku because otherwise he'd do something bad to him, and you knew what he was capable of.
There's a high chance that Bakugo bullies you because he can't bear how you make him feel, but that's another story. Overall, Bakugo is the kind of bully that isolates you from others and hates when you're doing good. The kind of bully that enjoys making you scares because it's the only form he has to get to you, living rent free in your head like a nightmare. He low-key accepted that it didn't matter if he was a monster, he'd be your monster. A vice grip you wouldn't get rid of.
You stand in front of Izuku's desk, hot salty tears rolling down your cheeks as Bakugo holds out a permanent marker for you to take. "What are you waiting for? Do it!" The blond yells, growing impatient as you shake your head. "I'm gonna beat him to a pulp if you don't do it, is that what you want?" He laughs, hearing you sob.
Bakugo wanted you to write mean things for Deku to see, so that Izuku could see how much control he had over you.
"Please, don't make me do it!" You cry, hugging yourself in fear. Katsuki grunts, yanking the cap of the marker and approaching you. The black tip of the tool reaches your face, his hand scribbling something.
'Crybaby'
"Don't wash it, or else..."

Hello there, how do you do? \(^o^)/
I recently found your blog and got to say I was so excited to explore it, hehe! Nowadays it's hard to find some Ben 10 account so I was really happy when I come across yours.
Anyways though I wanted to request but since I got no idea for now I think might interact with you since you sound like any interactive person (ㆁωㆁ)
Yk what made you write for Ben 10 fandom since you know not many fall in love with their childhood interest later in life. Honestly I get into Ben 10 again when few days earlier my cousin was watching Ben 10 online and I end up watching one episode with him too and thus my old love for series and character rise again 🐀
Would like to see your answer. Anyways have a wonderful day ahead and don't forget to eat your meal. Byeeee!
Hi! I am so sorry it took me so long to see this! I have no idea how long this has been sitting in my ask box, I'm not active on this blog anymore. I was unaware that it's still getting just as much attention as it did when I was in high school. Just a warning, this is a very long response.
To answer your question, It's not that I fell in love with it later in life, but that I never stopped loving it.
I am autistic, and have had the same handful of interests since I was younger. Ben 10, Transformers, DC, Marvel, Devil May Cry, to name a few. Most of my interests were influenced by the people I grew up around. like my abusers. I also have a biological who is only two years younger than me. The two of us have always had the most of the same interests our entire life, but my interest in these things was always more intense than his. To the point my bio family found it annoying.
For context, we didn't know I was autistic growing up. We didn't have health insurance for most of my developmental years. It took being taken into foster care for my most of my health- mental and physical- to be cared about, addressed, and treated. It also doesn't help that my cousin (son of a very close family friend) is also autistic and we have different care needs. Because I didn't present exactly like him, my behavior was ignored. Written off as me being quirky, whiney, needy, annoying, antisocial, and stupid/ditsy.
Having the same interests as your younger brother is a doubled edged sword. On one hand, you always have someone to talk to. On the other, despite being more into something than him my interest wasn't taken seriously (because I am AFAB) and he was always got the toys and books (that he would never even read) about said interests. I always had to sit and watch as he got to enjoy things about our shared interest- and I was always left out.
I remember when my grandmother got him an Omnitrix toy that came with these tiny plastic figures of all of the aliens, and when you placed it on the Omnitrix, the toy would say the alien's name. I was so jealous, I wanted that toy so badly. But, siblings being siblings, if my brother found me playing with it he would throw a fit and get me in trouble. This caused me a lot of stress and anxiety growing up. Not just because It was invalidating, but also because I was being denied access to my special interest in a way.
However, there is one thing that my brother and I don't share. I love to read and write. To the point it was an actual problem when I was growing up. I would stay up on our bunk bed, reading and writing for so long that I would miss meals entirely. But, It was something they could never take away from me for force me to share with my brother. I have been writing about my special interests since I was in the 6th grade. Of course, my mother threw away most of it, and its all in notebooks rotting in some landfill now.
When I was 16, I made this blog and started posting reader insert fanfiction here- which I had already done for another fandom once before (@honeydew-mel0n). Actually, I was posting on both blogs at the same time! Before that, I had a Wattpad that I posted on (Still do, actually, haha.) I stopped posting on this blog after I graduated high school as I had collage classes to focus on, and eventually a job.
I no longer post here, not because it's no longer a special interest, but because I'm going to be 20 soon. I don't feel it's appropriate for me, as an adult, to continue to write such content about characters that are minors. It now makes me uncomfortable to do so. However, I am going to keep the blog up because many people like it and continue to read it. I'd never want to take that away from anyone. I do have a bunch of old drafts saved that I might post, but only if people would want to read my unfinished drafts. There is also a part of me that wants to keep exploring the Benzarro plot I was writing- but I probably won't
I hope this makes sense, thank you for asking!

omg hi could you maybe do a high-school au where you're failing English lit and Tolya is assigned as your tutor and you had no idea he was good at English and just mutual crushing vibes over poetry and maybe he's a jock and you go to his games to cheer him on and yeah...
the song could be Miss Americana & the Heartbreak Prince by Taylor Swift
Okay, look. Normally I don't do AU stuff, because, so many reasons, but I looked at this request and thought about it, and then I thought about it out loud and it sent me and bestie spiralling so fast into a whole Shadow and Bone High School AU concept, that I kind of, have to write this. I kind of have to, but it will have a lot (A LOT) of AU background info so hold on tight buddy. It may get to the point where you're asking yourself "what happened to the original plot of the movie," and to that I say... Idk.
Between Classes And The Bell - Tolya Yul Bataar
Content Warnings: Explicit Language. Spoilers for Seasons 1 & 2 And Potential Book Spoilers Implied Throughout. Not Canon Compliant, As AU But Canon Referenced Throughout. Not Beta/Proof Read.
Word Count: 5k+
"My expectations are low," Kaz says, tapping his cane against the table as he passes Zoya, a gentle taunt. Zoya purses her perfect lips and taps her pencil against the table, refusing to take the bait. "But they can always go lower, of course."
"You really think this is an argument you'll win, Brekker?" Zoya asks, turning in her seat to look at him. He smiles, eyes darting to make sure there is no teachers to oversee the devilish smirk, and clasps his spare hand over the one holding the cane.
"Never been in a fight I couldn't," he says. Zoya looks ready to explode. And you can understand why, Kaz never loses Debate, and she was just beginning to think she had the upper hand on him, but he had only wanted her to think that.
"I don't think we need to take this so seriously," says another classmate, "we aren't being supervised."
"I think taking things more seriously when unsupervised is essential to a thriving environment," Kaz is mocking Zoya and she knows it. She wants to do something, and if she let her heated nature get the better of her, she might. But she just folds her arms, and takes in a deep breath. As Head Girl she has to be composed, and as Captain of the cheer squad she has long learnt composure. When Zoya breathes it is like even the air is competing for her attention, she is that kind of beautiful. You glance at her and she has her eyes closed, calming herself. She shouldn't let Brekker get under her skin so easily, but Zoya takes everything very seriously, whereas Kaz gives the illusion of caring about school, all the teachers think he is a perfect student, and his grades suggest as much, but it is more of a game to Kaz. But that would go unnoticed by most, after all, no body tends to look too closely at a boy with a cane. But you don't doubt he is probably the most threatening of all of you. You'd heard a rumour once that he was running a blackmail scheme and that's why his grades were perfect without trying. But you knew Kaz was smarter than he cared to display, and you didn't want to put too much stock in rumours. School is so full of them after all.
You get up as the class empties, and you try not to pay close attention to the way Kaz hovers in the room, awaiting it's empty, you cannot tell if he is waiting for someone or waiting for the silence.
Zoya is headed for cheer practice and you are quick to step out of her way, it is best not to get under her feet at the best of times, yet again when she is fuelled with rage from an argument and especially when she is running late at the expense of losing said argument.
You step to the side to let most of the crowd pass, but as the corridors empty you feel yourself getting confused about where you were going. You catch a glimpse of your science partners leather messenger bag, and watercolour eyes and you nod to yourself, science, you're sure you've got a science next... but which one? Probably Chemistry, you'll settle for Chemistry.
"You're getting all turned around again," comes a voice from behind you. You turn and the familiar face of Inej Ghafa, is closer than you expected it to be. Inej is one of The Dregs like Kaz, you hated that name, but High School will be as High School will be and names like that sort of stuck. They called them The Dregs because they were scholarship students who couldn't afford to be in the school without the scholarship, 'Dregs Of Society' as a senior had not so politely explained to you one day when you were fresh in and dumb enough to ask. You nearly jump out of your skin, seeing here so close to you, without sensing her at all. She has a tendency to do that, so light on her feet, petite and so quiet. You have often wondered if the ability to walk unheard came first or if it was something she had learned from being a gymnast. If the acrobatics came naturally and the silence was learned, you're not sure which would be more impressive. Inej is simply a marvel, her scholarship is based on her gym skills and you would never doubt why, you've never seen someone able to preform with such confidence and prowess as her. But more than that, it's her heart you've noticed most, so quiet and yet so endlessly kind.
"Am I?" you ask her. She nods.
"You have English," she tells you, pointing towards the arts block.
"I have Chemistry," you say quickly but Inej shakes her head.
"No you had Chemistry last semester in this time slot on a Thursday," she corrects you, "now you have English."
You pause, but you realise she is right. You don't bother questioning how she knows that, one of the things you were quick to learn about Inej was she seemed to know everything about everyone, it came with the quietness you guessed, that she can hear and learn everything about everyone while no one even notices she's there. You wonder if that's what Kaz sees in keeping her so close, but then again based on the way the boy looks at her, you'd guess that was something else.
You turn to thank her but she has already disappeared from sight.
You're not late but you are cutting it close when you make your way to your seat. Nina, who you know relatively well from the short time you spent in the drama department last year, at her own coaxing, throws you a smile. "Pass this back to the pretty one?" she asks, handing you a note.
You glance over your shoulder and you don't need to ask who she means, you should have guessed. Matthias is looking even less eager to be in this class than you feel, but you don't blame him. For an exchange student Matthias doesn't seem to be thrilled to be here at all, most of the time, except when he is with Nina, which he is every moment he has the opportunity to be.
Every time you hear him speak it is to tell Nina that something she is doing is improper, and where he grew up that would've never been allowed, and yet every time you see him he is staring at her with a look in his eyes that could make you believe in love all on its own.
"Please?" Nina asks, fluttering those long beautiful eyelashes at you. You've never seen anyone say no to Nina Zenik, it might not be at all possible.
"Of course Nina," you tell her and hand the note back. Matthias frowns, and you can see the thoughts bubbling to the surface. He mumbles something about etiquette and respect for educators and then recognises Nina's handwriting and stops his grumbling.
"I think I am winning him over yet," she grins before turning back to the front of class. Nina was studying to be a nurse, but after a particularly rough semester switched carer plans and now intends to be a mortician, most of her bubbliness has come back to her, but it's clearest enough when she has the blonde in her eyeline, he truly brings out the best in her.
You find yourself tuning out most of the lesson, which you know you shouldn't, your Literature teacher is old enough that you feel like you should be able to get away with not paying attention, but you know she sees everything, and you're more than a little convinced everyone is afraid of her. So you're knocked sick immediately when Miss Morozova asks you to stay behind as the class is finishing up. You hope for a moment you might have misheard her, but her cold eyes on you is confirmation that you didn't.
She beckons you to the desk with a flick of her wrist and you approach, wondering what misstep you took, but she just slides your previous paper across the wood at you, and you see your mark and goose bumps spread through your skin. Fuck.
"You're going to fail," she tells you. She has never had a knack for encouragement or being gentle with her students.
"That is not what I had hoped," you admit. She laughs, it's a cold type of laugh, all apathy and disappointment.
"Not about hope child, it's about application and effort, I am not sure if you're missing the point or if you are not trying to see the point at all, either way you're not getting where you need to be," she shuffles a few papers, "so I have assigned you a tutor, hopefully that should fix your shortcomings, if not you will fail this class."
"A tutor?" you ask, the cold feeling just continues to spread through your body. Please not Zoya, please not Zoya. You don't doubt she is good at it, you've seen the turn around of Zoya's tutoring, but she intimidates you if you're honest and you don't think that is optimal for your learning. "Who?"
"Tolya Yul Bataar," she says, not bothering to look at you, "I have already informed him, the rest he will sort out, you're dismissed."
"Tolya?" you ask. You hadn't thought about it, you know he is in the advanced class, but you'd never given it much thought. Always seen the jock first, which isn't surprising, his education likes to focus on his sports, they treat his twin sister Tamar the same. Their skills making your school highest in competitive sports, it makes the school want to focus on their athletics. But you're a little annoyed at yourself for not even thinking about it.
You've thought about Tolya more than enough to have justified thinking about his academics. But the slight crush you've had on the athlete who stands taller than you can reason and with arms you're convinced could move mountains, you have had time to think about him.
You had lunch with his sister once, just the once. Tamar is nowhere near as tall as her brother, with short cropped hair which is a contrast to Tolya's own, but her strength is just like his, even for her size she is fierce and unrelenting. She looks like she could fuck you up, and you know she has the power behind her to back that up, and she would, and is willing to if the need arises. Her girlfriend Nadia had also been present at that lunch and you'd wanted to talk more than you had. Tamar was a type of brave you often wanted to be, unapologetic in her braveness, equal parts bark and bite.
You don't try asking anymore questions, you're pretty eager to get out the classroom that you walk straight into the corridor, not thinking to look around you, and are met by a leaning Tolya, who is rested up against the notice board beside the door. If normally he makes your heart skip a few beats, seeing him waiting for you nearly makes your heart stop. You tell yourself that's a fear response, but you know you're lying. "Tolya," you say breathing a little too heavily.
"I didn't take you for the flunking English type," he smiles at you, "but then again how well do you know a person?"
You smile, trying to not blush too deeply and give yourself entirely away. "I didn't know I was flunking," you admit.
"That isn't reassuring," he says, but he isn't criticizing you, you know criticism when you see it.
"It wasn't supposed to be."
"I am sure we can fix it up, I am... fond of prose."
You're supposed to be studying Remains by Simon Armitage, but even in his tutoring state, you can tell Tolya is finding the poem just as painful as you are. You don't want to be difficult, you don't mean to be, you're stressed about the fact you're going to flunk English Lit, and you know Tolya wants to help. But this poem is driving your attention elsewhere, and in an attempt to not stare at the large, pretty, tutor doing his best to go through themes with you, you let your eyes wander around the library.
Jesper Fahey, the lean theatre student with the true talent for dramatics in every aspect of his life, right down to the way he is dressed with bejewelled collar pins and matching cufflinks, is leaning over your chemistry partner, giving him that smile you recognise. Jesper has always been a flirt, and he never misses the mark, you've seen him flirt with nearly everyone around, but he only ever gives Wylan those eyes. You'd seen it first the day Wylan has suggested pyrotechnics for one of their next play, the same day Jesper tried to pitch Rocky Horror, they were a strange match, but perfectly matched in their strangeness. You especially liked Wylan, as your partner in the sciences you spent enough time with him to know that he is so smart, the kind of smart that makes your head spin, he could be a scholarship student, but he actually is a Legacy, not that you'd know it by looking at him, or talking to him. He doesn't really talk about his family, and you never pushed, knowing he runs the tech for the drama kids and can make homemade fireworks is a decent amount of know about a person.
"Am I boring you?" Tolya asks, his voice soft.
"No," you chuckle, "but I won't lie Simon Armitage is, maybe to death."
Tolya offers you a chuckle in response. "In honesty, I would like to say there is credit in all poetry, and I think there is, something for everyone, but I am inclined to agree this is no Keats," Tolya concedes.
"Or Wordsworth, or even Larkin," you add. He smiles.
"So you do like poetry?" he asks. You frown.
"Did I leave you with the impression I didn't?" you ask. He tilts his head, and he looks so unreasonably large in that blue library seat that you bite your tongue to not giggle at it.
"I had to read your previous paper to prep," he says, "you made it sound like poetry was the lowest form of art."
"I didn't mean for it to sound like that, maybe that poem," you joke, "but not all poetry."
"So, what poems do you like?" he asks, closing the book.
"What poems do you like, I didn't take you for the type," you give that preconception willingly, hoping to dismiss it quickly, and get his true interests locked into memory in a hope to know him better.
"All muscle and no appreciation for art?" he asks. You shrug.
"I never thought you were only muscle," you say, "you've got height too."
He laughs a little too loud for the library but you're too busy smiling to care. "I like classic poetry, epic prose," he admits.
"Iliad?" you ask. He grins.
"Yeah, Homer is up there," he nods, "also The Cantos."
"Oh is that... Ezra Pound?" you check, genuinely unsure if you're right but the gleam in his eyes tells you that you are before his words do.
You sit for a while, swapping favourites and preferences and you don't hear the sound of the bell ringing, calling you to classes, you just keep listening to Tolya reciting from memory and you think you could listen to that forever.
"I hate to pull you away," comes a voice anyone would recognise. You look up and the resident Lantsov, Nikolai with his puppy grin and sparkling eyes is looking at Tolya, "but you are very late."
Tolya glances at the time, as long in you as you were in him, and gets up a little too quickly. "I lost track of time," he admits.
"I can see that," Nikolai spares you a glance, and smiles back at his friend. Nikolai is charming, charming in all the ways a politician might be without half the deceit and double the bravado. Handsome in the way that he knows he is handsome and leans on it, but doesn't rely on it solely like people as pretty as he often do. But it works for him, and you understand where it comes from. Lantsov is a Legacy student, which gets him a lot of allowances, but his older brother got expelled a few years back and he has been under a lot of pressure to not fuck up like Vasily did. So he goes the extra mile, does the extra work, head boy, and boy scout all in one, just to fix what his brother broke. The new girl Alina is hovering not far behind, Nikolai took a liking to her immediately, she looks lost in this place, she got in on a scholarship for a sport she didn't play and has been trying to juggle everything ever since. But she mostly talks about missing home, she has a boy back at her old school, a boy her heart aches at the absence of. Usually that sort of thing is a lie, but the way she talks about him, you would never doubt, you're not sure of his name, you've heard it once or twice, Hal, Mal maybe, you don't let your mind linger on the thought.
"I have to go, but I promise to meet you here tomorrow?" Tolya asks you, bringing you back to the library and out of your mind.
"I'll be here," you say. You watch the three of them walk away, the twins have been close to Nikolai as long as you've known any of them, thick as thieves and twice as protective of one another. You can admire a friendship like that.
"And the final stanza, ending with that imagery," Tolya is trying so very hard to stay on topic, but you are tapping your fingers across a very old copy of Odyssey and he knows you're trying to pull his attention away, and you know it's working.
"or six-feet-under in desert sand, but near to the knuckle, here and now, his bloody life in my bloody hands," you recite. "I know Tolya, it is ingrained in my mind I promise you."
"If you fail the next essay you won't be stuck with me anymore, you'll be failed," Tolya reminds you.
"I am very aware of my predicament," you straighten up, "fail and well fail, or succeed and be told the tutoring is effective and I must continue to spend these hours with you."
The way you tease him makes him want to forget the studying all together and just keep you in his company for longer, without explanation or reason beyond just wanting you there.
"This is such torture for you, isn't it?" He asks, not meaning a word.
"Not in the slightest," you confess. "My favourite part of the day, and not just because you bring really good snacks."
"I do," he agrees reaching to take a biscuit from the centre of the table. "Are you coming to the game?"
The question strikes you as odd, you have spent weeks with Tolya and you've discussed art and music and poetry at length, but you've avoided talking sports, you thought because he had wanted not to talk about it, but with this question you wonder if maybe you've been negligent in not asking him about that aspect of his life. If you've come across as uninterested in the athletics and dismissive because of it, and that thought fills you with an uncomfortable nervousness.
"I hadn't been planning on," you say slowly, "should I?"
"It's going to be a good game," he says, "a competitive one." You nod, trying to seem more enthusiastic than you're sure how to be about sports. "It's an important game," he admits, "and I would... like to have you there, if you want to come?"
"Are you asking me to come watch your game?" you ask, twiddling your pencil between your fingers. He smiles.
"Yeah, I kind of am," he admits, "is that okay?"
"Yeah," the blush creeps up your neck but has the respect to stay away from your cheeks, weeks alongside Tolya you've had to train yourself to blush more subtly, "I'd like that."
Genya and Nina are both fussing over Zoya in preparation for the game, Genya because she wants to be beautician and it is helpful, Nina because it's her prerogative to get involved wherever she wants to. Seeing Genya and Zoya be so friendly with one another is still a little unnerving, due to a not so friendly rumour about Genya and a teacher Genya had been the subject of a lot of hate from the girls at school. Zoya was among them. But the last year has brought everyone a lot closer, and everyone has become a lot more understanding, and Zoya with the help of Alina went around getting Mr Kirigan fired for his unprofessional behaviour, that which they could prove anyway. Genya weathered the worst of it all, and she never seemed to shake.
"Genya if you do not stop fussing me," Zoya warns her, but it's coming from a softer place than her normal warning tone. Zoya holds a lot of guilt when it comes to Genya, about not defending her, about not believing her, about not protecting her from the rumours.
Even Zoya had her fair share of rumours, the real reason as to why she doesn't date, the way her eyes linger moments too long on a pretty girl in the hallway, but again, you didn't like to put too much stock into rumours.
Genya twirls one of her red tendrils around her hand, trying to keep them off Zoya's long dark hair which she has pulled up into a ponytail. "Can I at least-,"
"No," Zoya says sternly. "David, please come get your girlfriend."
David, the reed thin brunette who rarely understands half of what is going on around him, looks up from the book he is reading, something on geology and metallurgy, to look at Genya who gives him a sweet smile, and he gives her a little wave, not having heard exactly what Zoya said. David and Genya are high school sweethearts, the type that you're not even aware you are rooting for at first, but at some point you realise the happiness of their relationship is the thing you are basing your idea of true love on.
"You're coming tonight right?" Nina asks you, throwing you a look across the room, you hadn't realised she noticed you being there, between trying to keep Genya from trying to colour Zoya's hair and Zoya from trying to kill Genya with a look.
"To the game?" Genya turns her eyes to you and they're glistening with anticipation. "I didn't realise you found your school spirit."
"I was invited," you explain.
"Yeah, by a tree with the muscles of a Saint," Nina quips giving you a wink. "I don't think it's school spirit they've found."
"Tolya?" Genya asks, tone shifting up a pitch with her eagerness.
"Don't say it like that," you say. Genya leans up on her elbows, resting her pretty face over her crossed hands.
"Like what?" she asks.
"Like," you gesture to her in her entirety, "like that, like you think you know something I don't know."
"If your truly flunking Lit, I think we all know something you don't know," Zoya says, "now can we get this show on the road, I cannot and will not be late."
"Ignore her," Nina mouths, "she's just cranky because... well because she is Zoya."
The air is brisk but you don't feel cold as you walk towards the field, you see Brekker underneath the bleachers talking with someone you don't recognise, but you pretend not to see anything.
Wylan has his arms around Jesper's neck in the back of the stands, and he looks less lost and more found. Matthias and Nina are bickering by the food queue about how acceptable sweet toppings are on savoury foods and she is too wrapped up in her fun game of wind up Matthias to see your wave, but you don't mind.
Zoya has corralled the cheerleaders and they're all pretty ready, Alina is staring trying not to get roped into anything as one of the cheerleaders in blue tries to tell her how good cheer is for the spirit.
Nikolai is trying to convince Zoya of something but you're not sure what, but you are at least sure it isn't working.
You are brought out of your people watching by feeling a presence close to your side, you turn your head and Inej is walking in stride. "Tolya is looking for you," she says, and you expect her to disappear into nothing as quickly as she appears, but she doesn't. She is a girl after all, not a ghost.
"When does the game start?" you ask.
"You have time," she assures you. She points south and you follow that guidance, and you see Tamar leaning on the gate, she is talking with some of the other players, and she looks so at home. It would be hard to believe there was a time when Tamar had to argue her way onto the team, given how much she has to offer.
Tamar gets a warning for cursing with enthusiasm and you cannot help but chuckle. If the other team wants a fight, they will definitely find one with her. You're about to ask if someone has seen Tolya when you feel the shadow casting across your shoulder.
"I'll get them back," Tamar is insisting.
"Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much," Tolya quotes, standing beside you. Tamar throws her brother an unamused look.
"Oscar Wilde," you say craning your neck up to look at Tolya. He looks different in his sporting kit, but his hair is still held back the same, and his arms are still exposed to the cold air, just not with rolled up sleeves this time. Looking at him makes you feel cold, and you want to ask him how he isn't.
"You're shivering," he points out.
"I am?" you ask, glancing down at your own body, "I hadn't expected it to be so cold."
"Here," Tolya reaches behind him into a bag and pulls out a jersey, it's for the team and is sporting his number on the back, he hands it to you with one hand. "So you're warm."
You take it slowly, mind racing with the many implications of such a small, kind gesture, and you don't want to jump the gun with this, with him. "Thank you," you manage, slipping the fabric over your shoulders. "I didn't even realise you had one of these."
"Everyone on the team has one," he says.
"No, a jacket," you tease, "you never wear one."
He shrugs. "I don't get cold," he explains, looking around to see how quickly he needs to make his way to the field.
"Then why did you carry it with you?" you ask. The jersey smells like Tolya, from being in his bag you'd guess, and you feel a weight in the side pocket, reaching in you find a small packet of dried mango. You let yourself smile at that.
"I've got to run," he says, "wish me luck?"
"Break a leg," you say, "or is that just something you say for theatre?"
"I'll take it," he says before joining the team.
You'd not given the sports of your school too much thought, but watching Tolya play you must admit you weren't giving the sport aspect much thought even now. You cheer for Tolya, not the game, you're watching Tolya, not the game. If anyone asked you what was happening you're not sure you'd be able to offer more than this name.
If you had any doubts about your schools victory they would have been quickly squashed by the victory cries from Tamar, all fervour and for more expletives than the coach is happy for there to be. She gets a whistle of a warning and a stern look which she just brushes off, letting her brother pull her into a hug.
You are leaning on the fence, which you hadn't noticed until now, with Tolya approaching you. The field is lower set than the stands but Tolya still feels very tall as he gets closer. You can understand why Nina described him as treelike. "Good game," you say. The warmth of his jersey on your skin feeling as secure as that embrace you watched him give Tamar, and it leaves you reaching out for him with eager thoughts and hesitant hands. You tuck them deep into your pockets- his pockets, trying not to give yourself away.
"Thank you," he says, the adrenaline in his smile is dizzying. "Thank you for coming by the way, it means a lot."
"Thank you for inviting me," you say. You want to say more, you want to find the words for this feeling, this gentle buzzing that is sparking between the two of you.
"Ask her you coward," Tamar calls from her place now sat next to Nadia, straddling the bench of a lower section of the bleachers, sharing a milkshake with her girlfriend.
Tolya laughs. "I made a bet with my sister, if we win I had to take that win, and take a risk," he says, and for someone so tall he looks so nervous. "And we won."
"You did," you nod, "quite well I think."
"Really well," he admits, laughter echoing in the spaces between the words.
"So what risk?" you ask, feeling yourself leaning onto your toes, needing to know, feeling your heart pounding in your chest.
"I was wondering if you'd like to see me, outside of school hours?" he asks.
"Like now?" you ask, trying to keep the smile at bay. He tilts his head in a nod.
"Yeah, like now, but maybe more... just us," he says. You feel like you might fall down but you can't help but tease him.
"For studying?" you ask. He can tell you're playing with him.
"No," he says, "not for studying."
"Are you trying to ask me on a date Tolya?"
"I am trying."
"I would like that, I would like that a lot."
