hi, love <3 so, here's a random thought I'd like to share with you.
I always mention how much I would've loved to see The Wolf instead of The original as a TVD spin off, but, even though my though I still stand this statement, I think it would've not been the same.
Let me elaborate:
as I said many times before, your writing is the key of the whole story. Since you always narrates things such as inner thoughts, feelings and point of views, we also get an explanation about why a certain thing is happening ( i.e. the ending smut of chapter 30). However, no matter how talented the actor is, this thing never happens in TV shows, and it sadly leads to misinterpretation (either of the character or their action) and "randomness".
For example: Caroline is my babygirl, but I just know that if people would've *watched* instead of *reading* The Wolf, they would've hated her. Calling her a bad s/o, mother and friend because they would just judge her by her actions without knowing what's going on with the characters, misinterpreting her struggle for bitchness or something along those lines.
In conclusion, even though I would pay MILLIONS to just erase TO and bring TW to live action, I'm also happy to know that my favs are "covered" from the hate they have already received because the shows never portrait them and their issues in the right way.
that's it, just wanted to share this piece of mind that have been floating around my head for a while! lemme know what you think!
Under the cut because I got rambly. 😂
That makes sense. Obviously books/fics/any written content will always be much more dense than TV shows or movies because you get to be inside characters' heads, while on TV content you can only count on actors finding a way to translate these emotions, and some of them don't even have that capacity tbh.
Not to say that The Wolf would've been better than the actual show (I mean, I have my biased opinions, but that's just me 😂), but I think the writing on The Originals obviously contributed a lot to how bad the show was a lot of the time. It simply lacked substance, there were many times when things just straight out didn't make sense. At first glance it might seem like TW and TO are almost interchangeable, but they're really not, and this is a point I have been making over the years. It's not just about the obvious changes (Caroline instead of Hayley, which is a BIG change btw), but it's especially about the more subtle ones. The amount of thought I put into those scenes, characters, dialogues - it might not seem like it, but it's crazy. And so if you read the final product and you think 'wow! this makes sense! it should've been like this!' it's because there were loads of changes done to not only that part, but parts that came before, that suddenly, when put together, paint things under a completely different light.
The problem with TO for me is that it starts off from a place of complete nonsense, so everything that comes after that is building on top of a fragile foundation. I mean, they start off the show by retconning every single character to a certain degree. What can we expect after that? They were more interested in erasing everything that came before on The Vampire Diaries than in doing justice to the characters, so there's no way that could've ever been 100% solid. It had its moments, I can't say that it didn't, but it was mostly scattered scenes here and there, or ideas you could see that were good in theory (like the premise of S3), rather than entire story arcs within the show.
My point is that I don't think the lack of inner monologuing is the main problem with TO. There is a way to have compelling and profound writing even when you don't have narration to compose your scenes, and the fact some screenwriters are incapable of doing that is the reason why so many book to TV adaptations are so crappy. You have to be really inventive to make it work, and the crew on TO simply wasn't. But there were moments!
However, regarding Caroline and the things she does throughout the story, like going back to Mystic Falls in TW2 for instance, or when she leaves the compound in TW1. Honestly, even if that had been written by the best screenwriter in the world (obviously not me), and if Candice King had given an Oscar-worthy performance, people would still call her a bitch. 😂 There's a real edge of misogyny in how people judge female characters a lot more harshly than their male counterparts, especially when the things they do displease the male character, which was the case here. I got so many comments from people who were mad at Caroline because 'she should've just trusted Klaus, Klaus is a hybrid, he's the strongest, he knows better', completely disregarding the fact Klaus is basically a psychopath with trust and anger issues who was by no means a pillar of warmth and sanity a lot of the time. Caroline was, from start to finish, the most reasonable, stable person in that entire story, but there were many times when people were blaming her for things that were just not her fault. She was pregnant, alone, scared, trying to stay alive, to protect her child, and Klaus was at the peak of a downward spiral where he was listening to absolutely no one, but somehow Caroline was the one in the wrong for not trusting that he wouldn't act like a maniac. 😂
I'm not saying that is what you're saying, btw, I'm just saying Caroline would've been judged no matter what. But yes, she probably would've been very harshly criticized if this had been the show. Already she is! There's a lot of people who dislike her for how hard she was on Klaus, like he didn't deserve it. 😂
Having said all that 😂 I do give myself some credit for the fact people were feeling so much for Klaus in spite of everything lol He's very intense and dramatic in how he takes offense. If he thinks he's been wronged (and he thinks he's been wronged whenever someone doesn't take his side in a dispute, whatever that might be), he just goes all out, and he's merciless in how he judges the people around him, alwaus making himself out to be the victmized party. He might regret his actions later (usually because of that darned little thing called consequence), but never initially, and he's also terrible at apologies. So I wanted his POVs to be about how the whole world was against him, and how he knew what he was doing, and he couldn't trust anyone, etc etc, and people bought it. Personally, I was always on Caroline's side, but even though I know people were likely to side with Klaus anyway because that's the way it is, and people are biased towards him, I also think I might have manipulated them a little bit.
But I just reminded myself today that there is a very basic difference between canon and TW that means one could never replace the other which is that Caroline is a witch. 😂 That justifies her getting pregnant, but then it changes her entire backstory.
I hope my response didn't come out as though I'm being harsh or anything. Your pondering just got me thinking, and that's actually something I've thought about a lot throughout the years because I have certainly gotten many comments like what you said. Thanks very much for sharing! I really love reading that kind of thing. ❤️

COSMO THE CAT, HE'S LITERALLY SUCH A COOTIE PATOOTIE AND SO ETHEREAL, ELIJAH AND THEO WOULD LOVE HIM (ion know about klaus, he may be jealous that the cat is cuter than him)
idk why i just randomly came up with this but I was scrolling through the aesthetic tab, AND I FOUND THIS BEAUTY AND I CAUGHT AN IDEA FOR YOUR BOOK
i literally thought of an entire backstory for this cat, and since I'm bored, I shall dump this at your doorstep
Cosmo's backstory: He's a stray kitten that became an alleycat but one day he bumped into Y/n (if you even decide to put this in your story, its your story not mine, just a random idea i came up with) YOU DECIDE HOW HE DID (like maybe she could be on a walk, thinking about the uttermost TEA that is being bestowed upon her and then she walks down an alley and bumps into him, idk) and Y/n was like "cat. mine. you're mine neow." and then Theo saw cosmo and was like "WE'RE KEEPING HIM. HE'S TOO CUTE TO PUT BACK" and don't worry, he's just a stray, but when Y/n took him to the vet, he like didn't have a specific breed and Y/n was like "huh, that's weird. wtv i got too much shit to deal with to think about a cat" BUT LITTLE DOES SHE KNOW, COSMO IS A SPECIAL CAT (kinda like the witch kitties, BUT HES DIFFERENT, TRUST)
he was born by the force of mother nature because he's a special little kitty to protect y/n and theo, although I wont get too much into his backstory because once again, ITS YOUR STORY, YOU DECIDE, NOT ME HONEY BOO BOO, YOU DECIDE WHETHER HES NORMAL OR NOT
Cosmo's personality: -Chill -Affectionate with certain humans -Can lowkey being a little spacey, it could take like 2 minutes of theo calling his name for him to realize theo is calling his name -Protective when Y/n and Theo are around certain people (*cough* klaus *cough*)
Cosmo's abilities:
-Smart (he's literally like the most intelligent cat ever oml) -Can tell evil from good (so he probably won't like Klaus at first) -Speedy -Can see literal SPIRITS (him and bonnie are going to get along so well) -Can telepathically speak with other animals
Cosmo's fav humans so far: -Y/n, he thinks she's such a baddie -Theo, although he gets scared when Theo randomly rages at games or yells when he's yapping on the phone with Jeremy -Elijah, HE LITERALLY IS SO AFFECTIONATE WITH HIM -Caroline, because who doesn't??
ALRIGHT ENOUGH OF MY PROJECTION, lemme know what you think?? i personally heart him and would love to know if other people heart him. i know you're most likely not going to use him, but just an idea!! knowing me, I might actually use him for my teen wolf story, BUT JUST AN IDEA I CAME UP WITH!! LOVE UUU!!!<333 BAII
This is so cuteee!!! I was actually thinking of adding an animal in and kind of hinted towards it with kols reaction to the reader not having a turtle.
I don’t think I’m going to have the cat be supernatural just because I forget a lot of the stuff I add already so I don’t want to forget more lol
But I literally love this idea and please send me the info for your teen wolf story because I literally love teen wolf

Some people have this weird fixation about making Klaus choose Caroline over Hope, especially in fanfics. I’ve seen fics where Klaus abandons Hope, or kills Hayley for disrespecting Caroline, or just ignores Hope in favor of Caroline. Like some people forget Hope’s his daughter - of course, he’s going to choose her over everyone. I think any decent parent would choose their child over a potential girlfriend/boyfriend. And Hayley is Hope’s mom, a very important person in her life. I don’t think Klaus would kill Hayley unless she posed a threat to Hope or if she tried to take Hope away from him. Honestly, I don’t think he would even tolerate people openly disrespecting Hayley in front of Hope, regardless of who it was.
Another thing that I’ve noticed is how people are so determined to make Klaus a father figure to the twins, particularly Lizzie. I’ve read a fic in which Klaus clearly and openly favored Lizzie over his own daughter - which would never happen. I think that if Klaus and Caroline actually did end up together, he still wouldn’t be that present in the twins lives. Since he is overprotective to the extreme, I think that he would hold some resentment over how the twins treated Hope in their younger years. He’s petty enough to hold a grudge against a kid. And anyway, I don’t ever see Alaric allowing Lizzie or Josie to get close to Klaus, no matter what Caroline says.
I don’t know… it’s just weird that people keep diminishing Hope’s relationship with her own father to benefit their ship. Sorry for the rambling.
People fail to remember that Klaus is his own person and not an extension of the ships they like, and that ship half of the time is klaroline because they are obssesed with making him her personal puppy, as if that ever happened in canon.
Granted, Klaus said a few nice things to her and did like two good things to make Caroline not feel so guilty about wanting to fuck him, but other than that there's no way he would ever seriously chose her over his family, especially his own daughter. He chose to save her over Rebekah back in Mystic Falls because his sister is immortal, Caroline isn't.
I've never actually read long klaroline/klamille/klayley fanfiction. Sure, I use to read some oneshots from time to time because they have really good writing, but this fanfics I'll talk about best used to show up while I was in the klaus or mikaelson tag and I used to take a look because I was curious. It has some wild elements, that's for sure.
I've seen a lot of fanfics where they make Caroline some weird ass hybrid/tribrid that manages to be a werewolf, witch and vampire all in one and it's like wtf. They complain constantly about Hope's existence because she breaks canon and yet they make this baby vampire the biggest Mary Sue ever. Yes, the producers created Hope because they wanted to create their own magical baby like Renaissance from Twilight, but they make a fool of themselves by making Caroline be anything but a vampire. Caroline was incredibly mean and a complete hypocrite as a human and don't bring me the "she was insecure and always in Elena's shadow" because I'm insecure too and that doesn't make me be a bitch to the people who love me. Klaus was always threatening her whenever she spoke in a way he didn't like, and that was when she was already the "sunshine vampire" people claim to love so badly, so people who think he would even let her live if he met her as a human are laughable.
Klaroline shippers are so pressed about Hayley being Hope's mother, I can't even tell you how many posts, videos and weird fanfics I've seen of Caroline being her mother and being the "Mikaelson's light". I've said it a lot of times, but the Mikaelson wouldn't like Caroline at all: Rebekah and Hayley were constantly slutshamed by her, Elijah hates people who insult/hurt his family, Kol was literally killed by one of her best friends and he would not be okay with that, Finn couldn't care less and Freya probably just heard bad things from her, if she even knew about her existence. And in top of that, Caroline literally threw a party when she thought Klaus died.
When they have any Mikaelson or Klaus, especially Klaus, kill Hayley, I just lose it. Why the hell would Klaus ever do that? He literally lost his mind when she died, he was a mess and they don't even want to admit he loved Hayley: new flash, he did. She was his family, the mother of his daughter, probably his best and only friend and he loved her. Not in a romantic way, but they still get pressed because how dare Klaus have feelings for anyone other than their queen Caroline.
Also, their obsession with making Caroline be called queen? It's creepy and weird, it must be really annoying for them that Klaus only called Cami and Hayley a queen. Those two girls were a thousand times closer to be considered family by him than Caroline ever could, and his siblings did care for those women too.
This reminds me of a really good point in klaroline fics: if Caroline is the one pregnant with Hope, Klaus will react a lot better. I just can't see this, Klaus’s daddy issues are literally the main point of his character. He hated Mikael as much as he desired his love, he always yearned for one of his parents to care and no one did: Mikael, because he was a piece of shit, Esther, because she was terrified of her husband and there's literally no other reason in canon that explains why she allowed Mikael's abuse and Ansel, because he was forced to stay away and was killed twice. That isn't gonna change just because he got Caroline, sorry to tell you.
I can see him reacting less murderer and less threatening. Alkaline covers this so well and it's one of my favorite Klaus fanfics, if he has a romantic relationship with the woman he got pregnant he wouldn't tell the witches to kill her and their baby, but I do think he would still think at first she cheated, not only because of his paranoia but also because he is supposedly incapable of having kids.
The whole Lizzie and Josie thing is really a good point! I agree, Klaus would never favor the twins over Hope or even Marcel. Those are his kids, he raised them and he never met Josie and Lizzie until they were like what, twelve? Thirteen? He even said people needed to ask him permission to even talk to Hope, he would 100% hold a grudge against the Saltzman twins for being mean to his daughter. I also think that the whole "Klaus would like Lizzie more than Josie" is because physically and in terms of personality, Lizzie is the one that resembles Caroline the most. So when writers have him openly prefer Lizzie isn't only weird, it has some uncomfortable pedophilic vibes.
I've only seen klaroline and some klayley shippers say that about klope, how he would love x girl more than Hope and etc. I hardly doubt they even remember canon Klaus, just their fanfic version because if Klaus ever had to chose he would always chose his daughter. I've also seen, in a lot of fanfics, not only klaroline ones, how Klaus would love more or completely ignore his oc kid (they also have Hope he a complete bitch from the start, even if it's her seven years old version) and it's just strange. There are a lot of reasons why Klaus and Marcel didn't have a stable relationship, mainly all the bad blood between them and the fact that Marcel was already grown up by the time they met, but he never hesitated to put himself in danger for him. Klaus even refused to kill him, knowing he was endangering Hope. I just can't see him ignoring his kid, especially if he got to actually see him/her grow up.
This is not bashing to the writers btw! Sorry if it came out like that.

@splatooshy RIP shower scene, you shall be missed dearly
It ain’t done, but I do have the bones of some stuff:
I keep my heart under the floorboards (in the dark, far away from yours)
Amnesia trope. Damon thinks it’s sometime before canon starts—pre meeting Elena. Technically set during S5-6 but timelines meh
“Maybe we should untie him,” the girl with Katherine’s face says.
Who is not Katherine.
She had been very adamant about that one.
Despite looking just like her, knowing Damon’s name, and being a vampire.
Damon does his best to smile benignly at her from where he is chained to a chair in the middle of the Boarding House den. The rest of the furniture had been cleared back and away, leaving him the main attraction.
He’d woken up here, restrained and surrounded by strangers and slightly more familiar strangers.
There’s Not-Katherine—who smiles back at him, but it’s strained around the edges—orbiting around the room, around Damon at its center, but she never comes too close. Right now, she’s hovering next to one of the other girls.
The one Not-Katherine is standing next to is blonde. Baby faced with big blue eyes, she looks to be around Stefan’s age. She also, Damon knows just from her expression whenever she looks his way, hates his guts.
For some reason. That he can’t remember.
There’s another girl, one who looks just slightly older than the other two, who had been the one to pronounce him cursed upon entering the room and getting a good look at his aura or vibes or whatever it is that witches use to determine such things. She is both tiny and cute and gives him the impression that she is both capable and fully prepared to set him on fire.
His brother—one of those oh-so-familiar strangers—frowns Damon’s way when he sees him smiling at Not-Katherine. Probably (correctly) divining that he wants out of these chains and isn’t above seducing someone to do it. His hair is different from when Damon had last seen him, but that displeased twist of the lips is just the same.
The man lounging in the corner—blond and settled into his skin in a way that means old vampire, beware—is as unfamiliar as the witch and the blonde. Something about him and his bored amusement at the situation puts Damon’s teeth on edge.
[Tries to act innocent/uneasy to win sympathy. They all know him way better than he realizes. It doesn’t work.]
Plan A foiled, he settles in to people watch.
Elena-Who-Not-Katherine and Stefan are standing intimate-friend-or-more close to each other, speaking in hushed voices about a bunch of names Damon doesn’t recognize. Them being so up close and obviously cozy makes him want to frown. Or pry them apart with a crowbar. She may not be Katherine, but she looks exactly the same, and the scene is bringing back memories he’d rather forget.
Bonnie is trailing one finger over the pages of what Damon would put good money on being a grimoire.
That’s when Enzo walks in.
He glances Damon’s way, raises an eyebrow, then deposits the cloth-wrapped parcel he’d been carrying onto a side table beside the witch. He sets a steaming beverage down next to it.
Oh, Damon thinks, realizing something, watching Bonnie thank him before going back to her book.
He’s dreaming.
That’s it.
That explains everything.
Kind of a strange dream, but whatever. He’s had stranger.
He frowns down at the chains, trying not to wonder what Freud would make of his subconscious deciding on this.
“Why is Damon in chains?” a voice more familiar than the face it belongs to asks.
Damon would like an answer to that one too, but doesn’t want to soul-search to get it. He’d need a compass and maybe a map.
“Magic retrograde amnesia,” Caroline explains airly.
“Right,” Enzo’s voice says. “Of course, why wouldn’t it be? But the chains?”
[Exposition on how they ended up with Damon cursed. Damon, believing himself to be asleep, starts being more blatant in his escape attempts. He begins to injure his wrists trying to break the cuffs, rationalizing away the pain and blood as it being a realistic dream. He’s also beginning to dissociate, and the pain takes longer to register than the scent of blood mingling with Bonnie’s coffee.]
“If I unlock this,” he says, reaching for the chains like him unlocking them is a forgone conclusion, but is curious as to the answer anyway, “what will you do?”
This is, of course, where Damon promises not to harm a single hair on any of their heads. He’s going to school his face into—not earnestness, as they’d never believe that from him—but stoic agreement and swear to behave. It’s in his best interests to do so.
If this was a real situation and not a product of his fucked up brain, he might have.
“I don’t know,” he says, honesty raw as his wrists.
Enzo unlocks the chains.
[Damon stands up—except his body language is off. Enough so that the others notice. Moving too fast, blurring between motions and then being too-still.]
Staring Not-Enzo (It Can’t Be Enzo, Enzo is Dead, Damon Killed Him) dead (ha) in the eye, he bends his right index finger back until it’s pointing in the wrong direction.
He barely notices when half the room recoils at the sound.
“What was that for?” Enzo’s ghost asks him, unflinching.
Damon frowns at him, then down at his hand. He sharply twists the bone back into alignment.
He looks around the room, taking in an array of wary (Stefan and Bonnie), worried (Elena), and disgusted (Caroline) faces. Klaus is watching him like he’s a boring movie that has just become interesting enough to pay attention to.
The pain from that hadn’t worked either. He’s still dreaming.
“Damon.”
Unable to quite help it, Damon looks at his favorite nightmare. “Yes?”
Dark eyes drop down to where Damon’s finger is healing. He flexes his hand, finding it most of the way there. “Why?”
“I want to wake up,” he explains.
“Not that I don’t like seeing you—not hating me even!” he tacks on, lest he somehow hurt this dream shade’s feelings. He’s sick of hurting Enzo in his dreams. If he can avoid it, he will. “But I want to wake up now. Before the screaming starts.”
Or the smoke.
That’s what he remembers most. Not the fire. Not really. It’s the smoke. Thick in the air, in his throat, his nostrils, his lungs. Bodies beginning to burn and vervain-perfumed failure.
Dream-Enzo keeps his hands in his. It’s warm, bordering on hot, to Damon’s chilled fingers. He half expects the touch to begin to sear any moment now, or for Enzo’s visage to crumble away to ash. “You always do that?” he asks, dark eyes unreadable. Or maybe they are readable, and Damon just doesn’t want to read them. “Hurt yourself to wake up?”
Damon shrugs best he’s able. “If it works….”
Something about that slow nod, the understanding there in those eyes, makes him keep talking.
“Sleepwalking was the worst, but that didn’t last too long.” Only a measly year or two. What’s a year to forever? “Sleeping with people made it better, but I kept waking up to corpses in the beginning. Which, gross. Cleaning up a body first thing in the morning sucked.” When he bothered to clean them up.
The smile doesn’t quite reach those eyes—which are almost spot on, but there’s something different there, something new that doesn’t match his memories all the way; something about that hurts, that he can’t remember Enzo quite right, even while dreaming—but it’s close. “Shave, brush your teeth, hydrochloric acid?”
Damon flexes his fingers, regretting it when the dream takes that as a sign to have Enzo let go and step back. He doesn’t let that distance linger. This is his not-yet-nightmare, he’s going to milk it for all it’s worth. He captures Dream Enzo’s hands with his own, reveling in how lifelike this is.
Apparently, the action has surprised his own subconscious, because Dream Enzo blinks a little down at their entwined hands, one eyebrow briefly raising.
Blah blah blah—technically the scene ends with Damon having issues with his switch, fluctuating back and forth between too many emotions and suppressed ones.
I should prob finish it …at some point lol

The Vampire Diaries: Season 2 (Bonnie x Damon) Fanfic
Tumblr media
The whole town was mourning Mayor Lockwood that day. Bonnie brushed her hair behind her ears before taking a deep breath and entering the Lockwood Mansion. She scanned the small crowd of formally dressed citizens milling about in the grand living room. As she entered the dining room, she felt a cold tingling in her chest. 'Damon is here,' Bonnie thought, standing up straight. She turned around, coming face to face with Damon Salvatore. He smirked, not backing away despite their close proximity. He was at least a head taller than Bonnie, and she would've felt intimidated if it wasn't for her possessing the upper-hand in their tense relationship. It had been a whirlwind, learning about the existence of vampires and her own powers with witchcraft. Then Grams had died, trying to keep the tomb open for Damon to come out. Could she ever stop resenting him for how he'd turned her life upside-down?
"Well, I know my eyes are mesmerizing, Bonnie. But I assume you're here for more than the lovely view?" Damon said, breaking Bonnie's train of thought.
She frowned, feeing the heat rise in her cheeks as she realized she'd been staring at him for quite some time. "Don't flatter yourself." Bonnie said sharply.
Damon turned around, striding towards one of the long windows in the dining room. He changed the subject. "Did you know the Gilbert device affected Tyler Lockwood?"
"Well I know it took the mayor down." Bonnie said. "Don't you wanna know why?" She placed her hands on her hips.
"Yes, Bonnie. I would love to know why." Damon Salvatore said, furrowing his brow impatiently. "A non-vampire was tortured by the vampire torture device that you let John Gilbert use against us? Doesn't that peak your interest? Speaking of your guilt, how's Caroline?" Damon added.
"She's fine." Bonnie said. "She's healing quickly."
"You're welcome." Damon said smugly.
"-No, you are welcome." Bonnie corrected. "You'll live to see another day."
"You know, before you got into this whole blackmailing business, I had my eyes on Elena." Damon said, taking a sip of champagne from one of the glasses on the dining room table. "But now that you have this vendetta against me, Bonnie Bennett is looking pretty sexy," He said, setting the glass aside, leaning in to whisper the last part.
Bonnie inhaled the scent of his cologne, forgetting to act indignant or insulted as she was caught off guard by his advances. Damon lifted his hand and cupped her cheek, looking into her hazel eyes.
Then she regained her self control. "Damon, if I had my way you would've died in the fire after John Gilbert used that device against all the vampires." She whispered coldly. "You're a monster, Damon. Don't think I'll forget that so easily."
Damon pulled away. Bonnie could've sworn she saw a flash of hurt in his eyes. A split second of vulnerability. But it quickly vanished as a mischievous grin took over his expression. "You'll forget soon enough. And besides," Damon started, "Even if you don't, you witches tend to have a thing for my kind."
Bonnie was about to return his words with a seething remark, but she blinked and Damon was gone. Just like that. She sighed. A small voice inside of her questioned what it would feel like to kiss his enticing lips. But she could never show anyone that side of her, because the rest of her wanted to drive a stake through his heart. He had a talent for making her feel confused.

chapter four: mystery man
series/works masterlist
originally posted on ao3: https://archiveofourown.org/works/65246803
with elena and stefan being more than official, elliot, their family, and their friends saw a lot more of stefan. aunt jenna gave her stamp of approval, and jeremy seemed to like having another guy around. caroline pretended like she wasn’t a little jealous that elena got the mysterious new kid at school. the only ones that held their reservations were bonnie and elliot.
as time went on, elliot noticed she never really learned much about stefan’s story. she didn’t know his interests, hobbies, backstory, anything. as often as she saw him, around her house with elena, at school, or the grill, it seemed like he only ever let elena talk, and when he did, it was about school or their friend group. never about him. that only fueled her suspicions that something was lurking behind closed doors.
at the grill, stefan, elena, elliot, caroline, and bonnie sat at a table. there was casual conversation, with elliot remaining the most quiet.
“stefan, can you pass the salt please?” bonnie asked, finishing up her meal. stefan gladly obliged, handing the salt across the table and accidentally brushing his finger against hers. bonnie immediately sat up straighter, a small gasp escaping her mouth. her eyes briefly went wide, and the only ones who seemed to notice were elliot and stefan. caroline and elena were having their own conversation.
bonnie snapped out of it. “i’m… i need to use the restroom, excuse me,” she said hurriedly before getting up from the table and moving to the bathroom. stefan glanced at elliot, as if wondering what that reaction was for. elliot had an idea, but she would never tell stefan that.
elliot waited a few more minutes to see if she’d come back, and when she didn’t, she excused herself as well. she found bonnie in the bathroom, gripping onto the sides of the sink while looking in the mirror as if willing herself to forget whatever feeling she got from stefan.
“are you okay?” elliot asked softly, slowly approaching her side.
bonnie turned to look at her, a small but not convincing smile on her face. “yeah, i’m okay. just a weird feeling, that’s all.”
elliot got quiet. “i know you’re the only one besides me that has any feeling that there’s something dark about stefan. if that feeling you got was related to him, you know you can tell me, right?”
bonnie looked like she was debating on spilling, but she watched as she caved and bonnie finally told. “elena knows this already, and caroline knows to an extent. i had been waiting for the right time to fill you in since you got back. my grams says i’m a witch, that i come from a line of witches from salem. i thought it was just the alcohol talking so i never believed her, but weird things have been happening lately,” she paused, swallowing down her hesitation. “now i’m thinking there might be some truth to it.”
elliot had never been one to believe in the supernatural. she thought it was nothing more than spooky bedtime stories told to her as a kid, or a ploy to keep children from misbehaving and using scare tactics to get them to do so. despite being a mostly nonbeliever, the thought of the supernatural potentially living among them sent a chill down her spine. knowing someone could be right under her nose without even knowing it was a daunting thing to consider. despite it scaring her, she knew bonnie wouldn’t lie. she may not believe in the supernatural, but she believed in her friend.
bonnie watched the internal battle going on in elliot’s mind. “i know it’s a lot to grasp, and it honestly sounds fake, but i swear there’s some truth to what grams has told me.”
elliot sighed. “a witch? like, you have powers, or something?”
“i’m not sure yet. i keep seeing numbers, and i’ve gotten oddly good at predicting what commercial is coming on next and where lost things are in my house. and then…” she paused, drifting off. elliot gave her a look, one that silently told her it was okay to continue. this was a safe place to tell her, she believed her. bonnie looked around briefly, checking to see if there were any unwanted ears listening in on their conversation, then she continued. “when i touched stefan, i got a feeling. not just some weird vibe i caught, it’s like i felt him. and it didn’t feel good.”
elliot’s blood ran cold. “what kind of feeling?”
she could tell bonnie was wracked by whatever she felt. “it felt cold. like a bitter, burning cold. and it felt dark, darker than any sleep i’ve ever had,” she paused. “it felt like what i imagine death to feel like.”
elliot’s heart felt like it dropped out of her chest. “oh my god, bonnie.”
“that’s not all,” bonnie continued, getting even more serious. “this was the second time i’ve touched him. and this time… i saw something. i saw stefan and damon, and you and elena.”
knowing that bonnie saw her and her twin sister in flashes alongside the suffocating and dark feeling of death made her stomach twist in a knot. elena and elliot being associated with the frigid expanse of death following the salvatore brothers incapacitated her with fear. she knew stefan had something to hide, but she never imagined this.
“what does this mean?” elliot asked quietly.
bonnie shrugged. “i wish i knew. it could just be nothing, i don’t know how much of this witchy business i believe. i don’t want you to get too freaked out by this, i just need you and elena to be careful, okay?”
elliot took a deep breath in. she’d do everything in her power to keep her and her sister safe. “i will. does elena know about this?”
“i-“
suddenly the bathroom door flung open, revealing caroline and elena.
“we came to the grill to hang out as a group, not to have you two have a secret get together in the bathroom,” caroline stated. “get your asses back out here.”
bonnie and elliot looked at each other with a small, understanding smile. they had a secret between the two of them. bonnie followed caroline out first, with elliot at the rear. “everything okay?” elena whispered to elliot as they walked.
elliot didn’t even think about lying. she knew her sister would catch her the second she tried to claim she was okay. this secret couldn’t be elliot’s to bear alone, especially since elena was seen in bonnie’s visions as well. maybe if they told her about the feelings bonnie had been getting, elena would be more apt to believing them when they say stefan is bad news.
“bonnie and i need to talk to you later,” elliot whispered back. elena picked up on the seriousness of her tone, and quickly nodded before they arrived back at the table.
the rest of the time at the grill went seemingly normal, with bonnie and elliot exchanging knowing glances every so often.
“well guys, this has been a lot of fun,” caroline said, standing up. she had a hint of excitement in her voice. “but i have a date tonight that i need to get ready for.”
the girls all looked at caroline and showed a smile on their faces, and stefan watched elena.
“who is this mystery man? can we meet him?” elliot asked, excited for her friend.
caroline bit her lip in response. “you’ll get to know who he is tomorrow. right now, i want you guys to live in intrigue about who he is. i’ll give you a teaser; he’s insanely hot.”
the girls grinned again. “make smart choices!” elena said as caroline waved to everyone and walked out of the grill.
“i’m happy for her,” bonnie started. “she deserves to be in a relationship.”
“i agree,” elliot said.
stefan stood up from the table next. “i better get going too,” he began. he looked at elena. “do you need me to take you and ellie home?”
elena looked at bonnie and elliot, who were silently telling her to say no so they could talk. she turned back to stefan. “no that’s okay, bonnie can take us home.”
stefan leaned down and elena met him halfway so they could share a short but sweet kiss, then stefan headed out. once they were sure he was out of earshot, they began.
“you know how grams told me i’m a witch?” bonnie asked.
“yeah, what about it?” elena returned, not seeing how any of this could be an issue.
“earlier when i accidentally touched stefan when he gave me the salt, i felt something. and saw something.”
“like…?” elena asked, still unsure.
bonnie sighed, looking at elliot before looking back at elena. “i felt cold, and i felt darkness. the best way i can describe it is death. and not only that, but i saw you and ellie with stefan and damon in a vision. it left as quickly as it came, that’s all i know.”
finally, after waiting for her to see this the way she and bonnie had, elliot saw elena have some apprehension about stefan.
“and you’re sure you felt it and saw it? you weren’t daydreaming?”
“i promise,” bonnie concluded. “it could just be nothing, or all in my head, but i know what i felt and saw. i think you need to be careful around him.”
elena looked at her sister for confirmation. “i agree with bonnie,” she said, as sweetly as she could. she wanted to let her down gently. “i think stefan is a really nice guy, but there’s something off, i’ve always felt that way. what bonnie felt just gave me confirmation that something was up with him.”
elena sat there, weighing her options. “i’ll keep what you guys said in the back of my mind. i swear, i’m not brushing this off. but he makes me really happy, and i want to prove to you guys that he’s not all bad,” elena said. she looked at bonnie. “you’re coming over to our house tomorrow night, and us three and stefan are all going to have dinner together. you’ll get to know him more, he’ll get to know you guys more, and i promise this unsureness about him will go away. are you both in?” she said, looking between the two.
bonnie and ellie looked at each other, both knowing they agreed on the subject.
“okay fine, we’ll do it.”
‿̩͙⊱༒︎༻♱༺༒︎⊰‿̩͙
the next night, the gilbert kitchen filled with the smells of garlic and bread, and the three girls and stefan sat quietly at the table. stefan knew this was a ploy from elena to get him on elliot and bonnie’s good sides, but no one wanted to put in the extra effort to make any strides forward. with no one besides elena occasionally stepping up to make small talk, it made the silence that followed thick with awkwardness.
“so, bonnie,” elena started. “why don’t you tell stefan about your family’s history with witches?”
bonnie sent elena a look, as if quietly asking why should would tell stefan such a thing. “points for subtlety, elena.”
stefan seemed intrigued. “witches?”
“yeah, my grams says i’m a witch. she told me our ancestors came from salem.”
stefan sat back in his chair, a knowing expression. “salem witches are a heroic example of individualism and nonconformity.”
a small smile formed on bonnie’s face. “yeah, they are.”
the table fell into another silence, but one with less tension. elena then directed her attention to elliot. “i told stefan about your collection of classic literature,” she stated.
elliot’s head perked up. “do you read?”
stefan nodded from across the table. “i love the classics.”
she was officially intrigued. “don’t tell me you’ve read the great gatsby just to impress me.”
he let out a small laugh. “fitzgerald’s good, not nearly in my top five. i’ve read a lot of poe, jane austen, brontë- both charlotte and emily. dickens, dostoevsky, i could keep going.”
elliot sat back. “you really do read,” she said, disbelieving.
“i went, it’s your turn now. what do you read?”
“i love toni morrison, jane austen, hemingway. i could go on all night if you let me. if i had to pick one, it’s hard to beat the brontë sisters. i brought a copy of jane eyre to a middle school dance once. people thought it was weird, but thirteen year old ellie just wanted to escape into a book.”
stefan smiled. “i don’t think it’s weird at all. books are an escape, when the world gets too loud a book can pull you out of it and into a new world.”
“exactly. it’s always safe there, even if the story isn’t.”
“i think that’s why i like the classics,” he began, his gaze holding onto hers. “they’re messy, and harsh, and honest, but it’s timeless. the messages those books carry are true even today. their stories still feel real.”
elliot felt oddly energized from their conversation. she never got to talk books with people, and when she did, it wasn’t on an intellectual level like she just had with stefan. she couldn’t believe how well he was able to decipher books, and understand her without truly knowing her. “yeah, that’s… exactly it.”
the table sat in a comfortable silence. elena proudly glanced between her sister, friend, and boyfriend, and elliot hated to think that maybe elena’s plan was working. she saw stefan in a new light; he had some substance to him, one that she hadn’t gotten to see before. he had the capacity to be deep and abstract, and was highly intelligent. she had known he was brainy from seeing him in class, but his intelligence went beyond that of school or literature. he had easily understood her, and was able to connect to something within her she hadn’t experienced before. she began to think she might have misjudged him.
after finishing their meal, a knock sounded at the door, and elliot looked between her friends and sister. elena’s eyebrows dropped slightly. “are we expecting anyone?”
stefan’s expression fell slightly too, but he stayed quiet. “no, we aren’t,” elliot replied, confused as to who could be here. “i’ll go answer it.”
she moved to the door, and opened it to reveal a beaming caroline holding a tray of cookies and a smug damon by her side, a hand resting on her waist. she noticed his eyes weren’t on caroline, and were instead latched onto elliot.
“surprise! meet my mystery man!” caroline exclaimed, joy ever present on her face.
elliot looked between the two, mortified. “your mystery man is damon salvatore?”
damon’s eyes grew dark, and a smug grin remained on his face. “the one and only,” he answered. “oh yeah, and we brought dessert, even though we weren’t invited.”
the commotion brought the other three to the door. elena just seemed confused by the arrival of the two, bonnie was just as concerned as elliot was, and stefan seemed to be the most desperate to keep damon out.
“damon, what are you doing?” stefan asked lowly, the kind and caring voice he had used with elliot utterly lost.
damon didn’t show any reaction to the statement. “heard there was a little get together, thought we’d stop by,” he said, his mood never changing. his eyes drifted to elliot again. “don’t be a rude host, aren’t you going to invite your guests in?”
elliot showed a scowl. she hated that he showed up here, especially with caroline. he had not been invited to their dinner, but insisted on making an appearance anyway. she might have mended her feelings about stefan, but her feelings about damon were as strong as ever.
“now why would we do that? caroline is welcome any time, but you?” she paused, looking him up and down. “that’s a different story.”
damon’s confident demeanor faltered ever so slightly. caroline walked in proudly, turning to look at damon. “you coming?”
elena gently pushed elliot aside. “it’s okay damon, i don’t know why my sister was being so rude,” elena said, turning to elliot at the last part. “just come-“
“elena, don’t let him in,” stefan interjected. he glared at damon, sending mental daggers his way. “he shouldn’t be here.”
elena shrugged. “really, it’s no problem, come on in.”
stefan’s shoulders fell, and he seemed almost defeated. damon, on the other hand, had a rejuvenated sense of confidence. he stepped through the doorway, directly next to elliot, his arm brushing hers lightly as he passed. he glanced at her, and she turned her head away, before he made it fully into the house.
“elliot, elena, you have a beautiful home,” damon said, full of exaggerated appreciation that only elliot, stefan, and bonnie seemed to pick up on.
elena smiled. “thank you!”
suddenly, there was a tug at elliot’s arm, and she turned to see bonnie pulling her to the hall where they wouldn’t be heard.
“what are we going to do about caroline’s new boyfriend being damon?” bonnie asked frantically in a hushed whisper.
“i don’t know,” elliot replied, just as frantic. “that man is bad news. i don’t know how to get caroline away from him, you know how she gets about guys.”
“we’ll have to talk to stefan. he’s clearly not a fan of damon either, and he might know what to do.”
elliot nodded. she still had some reservations about stefan, but she knew stefan was the only person that could help them. “i agree. we’ll talk to him later.”
the entire group sat around the gilbert living room, with the awkward silence being palpable. elliot wanted to find every excuse to leave the room, escape the tension in the room with damon’s arrival and escape damon all together. she excused herself to go wash the dishes, and headed to the kitchen.
it wasn’t long after she began the chore when a voice sounded behind her.
“i was hoping we’d see each other again.”
she didn’t even have to turn around to know it was damon. she continued her dishes, acting as if he didn’t exist to her. “i hoped for the opposite.”
“ouch. you wound me, you know that?” he asked, moving to her side.
“it’s almost as if that was the point,” elliot replied firmly, evading damon and moving to the other side of the kitchen to put the clean dishes away.
“your twin is so nice to me. so… inviting. did you get the angry gene, ellie?”
she paused, actually turning to meet his eyes now. he had a playful look in his eye, like he enjoyed pushing her buttons. “elena and i are very similar in many ways. we can be different, though,” she took a singular step closer to him. “elena sees the good in everyone. even when people wrong her, she always looks for the light and wants people to be good. me? not so much. i’m good at sensing people’s intentions, and yours are as dark as they come. stay away from both me and my sister.”
she watched as his facial expression dropped slightly before she left him with one last statement. “oh, and it’s elliot to you, not ellie. we’re not friends.”
she walked out of the kitchen, desperate to get out of the same room as damon. she walked back into the living room in a rush, and stefan took note of her hurriedness. she caught him watching her, but not in the creepy way damon watches her; stefan seemed protective, like he was concerned about what his brother could have been doing.
the group fell into easy conversation once again, and damon joined the group once more latched to caroline’s side.
“so, how did you two meet?” elena asked, trying to be civil.
“i was just at the grill, and i saw him from across the restaurant. he caught up with me in the parking lot when i left, and the rest is history,” caroline said with joy, almost too excited. elliot tilted her head when she saw an oddly placed scarf around her neck. stefan didn’t seem to be buying this story.
“i’m going to get the cookies caroline brought, do you want to help me get some plates, ellie?” stefan asked, standing up. he seemed to have a sense of urgency in his voice she had not yet seen from him, and she knew they wouldn’t just be getting the cookies.
“yeah, let’s go.”
in the kitchen, stefan took her aside, but she spoke first. “is your brother insane? or just extremely socially unaware?”
stefan looked tired of having to deal with his brother. “i don’t know what he’s doing here, honestly. i’ll do my best to get him away. i don’t like that he’s here any more than you do.”
“good, get him away from caroline too. she’s too naive to see past his charming exterior. he’ll ruin her.”
he nodded. “i’ll do what i can.” he paused, looking her over with concern. “what was he saying to you in here?”
she sighed, recounting the interaction. “just said some weird things about how he’d hope he’d see me again, and said i’m the angry twin. i laid into him, told him i had no interest in knowing him.”
“i don’t know what his fascination is with you, but you and elena need to do everything possible to stay away from him, okay? he’s dangerous, and unpredictable. it’s best to stay far away.”
stefan’s words had put some fear into her. a person knows their sibling better than anyone, and for damon’s own brother to speak of him that way was powerful enough to plant a seed of fear into her. elliot knew a sibling bond better than anyone, and damon must really be a danger in order for stefan to tell her she needs to stay away.
“i won’t go near him, i promise.”
shortly after her talk with stefan, the group disbanded, with caroline and damon heading out first.
“thanks for letting us in on such short notice, we had a lot of fun,” caroline stated, looking up at damon, who kept his eyes on elliot.
“any time caroline,” elena stated. “it was good to see you too, damon.”
damon smirked. “always a pleasure, elena.” his eyes drifted to elliot again. “it was a pleasure seeing you again too, elliot.”
she didn’t say anything back, she just held his gaze and shot him daggers with her eyes before rolling them. damon’s grin never once left his face.
stefan headed out as well, saying goodbye to bonnie and elliot and gave elena and endearing kiss before heading out.
“okay, maybe stefan isn’t all that bad,” bonnie admitted to elena. “your plan worked, he’s a really nice guy.”
elena smiled, looking at elliot for agreement. “he’s great, and i can tell he really likes you. as your sister, though, i still need you to be careful especially after bonnie’s visions. i’ll never stop being protective, but i think stefan is amazing,” elliot said with a smile.
elena’s grin grew even bigger. “i’m glad you guys finally see him the way i do.”
elliot’s grin fell slightly. “but damon’s a different story, elena. he’s bad news, all of us need to stay away from him.”
elena shrugged. “i know. but he’s stefan’s brother, i’m going to have to be near him on occasion. it’s unavoidable.”
“i know,” bonnie said, chiming in. “if you have to be around him, just please be careful, okay?”
elliot nodded in agreement. stefan proved himself to have good intentions despite the darkness that surrounded him, but damon seemed to own the darkness. almost as if they harbored a secret, one that stefan was ashamed of and damon was proud of. there was something not being shared with her or elena, something cold.
and elliot was going to find out what that secret was.

A thread for Delena's necklace, 3x5 to 8x16.
"I stole it back for you."
Tumblr media
Somewhere between the end of 3x5 and the beginning of 3x7, Elena gave the necklace to Damon.
"Look, I don't have the necklace. Damon has it somewhere. Text him."
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Stefan isn't blind. He sees that Elena isn't wearing it. Because he's on human blood, you should also know that his hearing is just fine.
"So, the necklace isn't where Damon said it would be, and now we can't reach Damon."
At any rate, Elena doesn't ask Stefan where the necklace is because she expects Damon to have it - to still have it. And because she's not wearing it, I wouldn't expect Stefan to flip his humanity switch for her or for Lexi. He basically "lost" them both.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"The whole Stefan of it all."
The fire rebirth, shifting the necklace from Elena to Damon.
"The whole Elena of it all."
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In 3x8, they pull Bonnie back in. Break, destroy, crush, damage, "blown to pieces" as Stefan referenced in 3x7. Any of these would've worked. Nope, Bonnie refers to the necklace as if it's a person. Again, "The whole Elena of it all" for Damon.
"I brought you the necklace that wouldn't die."
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In 3x9, Elena uses the necklace to dagger Rebekah. She's still wearing it when Elijah un-daggers his siblings in 3x13.
"The necklace wasn't Stefan's to give. It belonged to the Original Witch."
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Elena trading the necklace for a daylight ring. The water rebirth, shifting the ring from Stefan to Damon.
Elena: Stefan. Forget it. Um-we-we can talk later. Stefan: That's just in case there is no later. Stefan: Just in case.
Note the dialogues... 3x22, 4x1, and 6x2.
Elena: And I'll be with you. Forever, IF I want. Alaric: Well, think about it, Elena! Think about that moment where you knew this person was somebody you had feelings for. That you loved. That you could see those feelings going on forever.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Rebekah gives the necklace to Elena in 3x15, but she leaves it in the Lockwood tunnel. It's no longer hers, it's Damon's. Damon trading the daylight ring for a necklace. Two fates.
"Sorry. No vampires allowed."
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The 1994 prison world necklace. Through Sybil to Stefan's grave.
"There must be a shred of humanity left inside my brother. Somewhere. I keep hoping. But how do I make him see it? And how do I protect her?"
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is one of the things I love about Damon & Caroline. From Datherine to Delena.
Caroline: It's just some stupid necklace.
Caroline: Damon, I gave you that necklace because it is as powerful and as magical as the love that you and Elena have for each other. Being here and feeling what you're feeling proves that a love that deep and real can win over anything.
Tumblr media
If you want me to do a thread on the necklace from 1x3 to 3x5, just ask.
If you want me to do a thread on the necklace and how it centers around Delena, just ask.

hi, can you do a one-shot for klaus, where he has a crush on y/n, and they have a one-night stand, and Klaus is sad because he thinks he won't see her again, but then he gets the news that y/n n is pregnant with his daughter (reader gets pregnant, no hayley, y/n is Hope's biological mother) and klaus takes the news well, because it's someone he loves and takes the pregnancy as an opportunity to make t /n love him.
Making her love me
Pairing: Klaus Mikaelson x fem! reader Word count: 7,4k (way too long, sorry not sorry) Warning(s): smut mention, panic attack (a little), swearing, and typical TVD violence. Nonsense from me: I'm so excited to post it since it's my first request/ask or whatever I should call it. I hope it's basically what you asked for, Gallus Anonymous! <3
Tumblr media
Klaus Mikaelson loved Y/N Y/S.
The original hybrid was hopelessly in love with her since the first time he met her on his family's ball. He will always remember that day.
She looked like an angel. Well, maybe more like a devil (judging by the fact that part of her hair was arranged in two small buns imitating horns), but still, she was the most beautiful girl at the party (and maybe in the whole world).
When he saw her, dancing in her black-golden dress with one of Salvatore's brothers, he knew that this girl would be his at the end of the day. Even if he has to fight with these bloody, young vampires.
Unfortunately, Y/N didn't have the same feeling when she first saw him. As a proud member of a Mystic Falls group (who returned to the town after a school exchange), she was obligated to hate the Mikaelsons.
But she must admit to herself that the man with the British accent was incredibly hot.
Damon, noticing Klaus's sudden interest in his friend, decided to use this to his advantage and pushed Y/N into the arms of their nemesis. Klaus was delighted. Y/N disgusted.
The original hybrid stuck to her for the rest of the evening, forgetting all about Caroline. Y/N has since become Klaus Mikaelson's official distraction. And she wasn't happy about it at all.
Her friends would use the Siphon Witch whenever they needed to keep Klaus occupied or to ease his bloodlust after doing something stupid (like stealing white oak stakes right under his nose and 12 obedient hybrids. Great plan, Damon!).
Y/N would have to wisely bump into Mikaelson and spend some time with him until the Mystic Falls heroes fix the shit they made. At least the girl was much less stressed compared to her friends, and sometimes she really enjoyed the company of the hybrid.
Once, a man took her to a cafe-studio where little-known Mystic Falls artists would gather. She returned to the Salvator Brothers' estate in navy blue paint, with little constellations painted by Klaus on her face, arms, and neck. Damon barely refrained from making a sarcastic remark.
Fortunately, Stefan saved him from her very likely wrath, because every time someone makes jokes about Y/N's relationship with Klaus, she gets mad and loses control over her magic power. Once, Bonnie had to repair Stefan's motorcycle. The vampire learned his lesson then and tried not to annoy her again. Sometimes, though, he seriously considered letting his older brother cross the line. He wondered if Damon would cry over a damaged car.
With time passing, Klaus had only a stronger crush on her. Everyone knows that. Expect Y/N herself.
At best, she thought the hybrid regarded her as some sort of friend or a distraction between his villainous grand schemes. There could be no feelings between them. Not when she already had a very loving boyfriend whom the original hybrid found out about at a 1920s school party.
She bewitched him completely then. And he was ready to tell her the truth about his real feelings for her and try to make her his, but then he saw this other guy holding her like he wanted to hold her the first time he met her. For Klaus, this man didn't deserve her attention; that human didn't realize how valuable a treasure he was holding in his hands right now. Klaus wanted to go away and let Y/N enjoy dancing with this lesser man. He really does. But when she turned and looked at him with these beautiful, delightful eyes, he couldn't just disappear without exchanging one last word with her.
After all, Klaus was a selfish man.
"You don't mind if I cut into you." Klaus' voice came from behind me, making me shiver.
"Yes. Actually, we do." My boyfriend snarled, recognizing the guy who was "hanging dangerously around me." He had no idea about the supernatural shite we were in and I had no idea how to tell him all of this (or just didn't want to).
Klaus just smiled unfazed, catching his gaze.
"Why don't you go somewhere far away and come back in 20 minutes? You can be useful and bring the beautiful lady something to drink." my boyfriend dutifully obeyed, leaving me with a smug hybrid. "Shall we, love?" he grabbed my hand and pulled me to him, swaying to some slow, romantic song without waiting for my response.
"Why do you always have to prove you're the alpha male?"
"I don't have to prove anything, love, I'm the alpha male." he replied, offended. I rolled my eyes, sighing.
"You would've loved the 1920s, Y/N. Girls were reckless, sexy, and fun. They literally used to dance until they dropped." he turned me around, smiling slyly.
"Since they were so reckless and drunk, I suppose it was easier for you to find a lover then."
"You should be nicer to me. I'm leaving town tomorrow." I shifted my gaze to him, shocked by the information he had thrown at me. "I'd invite you to come with me, but we both know that you're not ready to accept my offer. Perhaps one day you'll turn up at my door and let me show you what the world has to offer."
"How many girls fell for it? A magical tour of the world with an all-powerful original who plays with them like toys?"
"You mark my words. Small-town boy, small-town life won't be enough for you." he said, completely ignoring my previous words.
"And how do you know what's enough for me?"
"Because I know you, Y/N. Do you imagine marrying that stupid man with whom you were dancing later? Giving him children, living too short to make your real dreams come true?" I wanted to look away from him, but he gently grabbed my chin, forcing me to confront him and all my fears at the same time. "You want love, trust, passion, excitement, and even a little power, and unlike this fool, I can give you all of this and more. Just say a word."
"But for what price?" I asked, taking a big breath.
I realized we were much closer than was appropriate for a dance, but neither of us cared. His gaze was moving from my eyes to my mouth. I licked my chapped lips unconsciously, stuck in some incomprehensible anticipation. Only for what?
"Kaus. Y/N. I finally found you two. We have a problem. Klaus' mother is back." Stefan interrupted the moment between us.
I swear I could hear a little swear from the hybrid before he took my hand and led me towards Stefan, who was hurrying away.
After that, T/N didn't get a chance to meet Klaus again. Since they were on opposite camps in finding the cure, Y/N tried to avoid the hybrid at all costs. He just wanted to use her. Seduce her with his sweet words to make her do everything he wanted. She had no other explanation.
Klaus, on the other hand, tried to get her out of his head in every way he knew how. He couldn't keep up with adding new canvases for the portraits of his one-sided crush. His siblings were starting to worry about him.
Especially after he found out her boyfriend was going to propose to her. (Damon has never been prouder of being a gossip boy.) This overflowed the hybrid's cup of bitterness.
Kol and Elijah walked around their brother like they were on eggshells. Rebekah, on the other hand, has no such pity. It was her occasion to tease Klaus, like he was doing whenever she fell in love (at least Rebekah didn't want to kill Y/N like SOMEONE).
But nevertheless, she was the one to tell Klaus that Y/N rejected her boyfriend's proposal. The original never loved his sister more. He was happy that Y/N was now single, and he even thought that in the near future he may have a little chance with her since there were no other competitors for her heart.
But even in his wildest dreams, Klaus would not have dared to think that Y/N would knock on his door that same day and greedily bite into his lips as soon as he opened it. And not that she'd start ripping his clothes off and pushing him into his bedroom (which surprised him, given that she knew how to get there without his directions).
He never would have thought that one night would change his life forever.

Y/N's POV
I sighed, rolling over to the other side of the bed as the first rays of sunlight somehow hit my eye. I always kept the windows closed. How come I didn't do it this time? Reluctantly, I opened one eyes to look at my treacherous bedroom window, only to found out that I wasn't in my room.
Also, not in my bed.
And not in any clothes.
AND DEFINITELY NOT ALONE.
As soon as I looked at the calm, sleeping, and clearly satisfied (judging by his disheveled hair) Klaus, memories of last night started flooding back to me.
Panicked, I looked around the room for my clothes, trying to ignore the sight of overturned furniture, a broken mirror, and even a dent in the wall. Unsuccessfully. My face has never been so close to the color of my blood.
Once I'd traced my things, I carefully got out of bed and dressed as quietly as I could, closing the vampire's bedroom door behind me. Now all I had to do was get out of the house full of originals unnoticed. Simple, right?
"Y/N, darling! What a pleasure to see you this morning. How do you feel?" Klaus' little brother jumped out of nowhere and threw one arm around my shoulders, making me come inside the house again.
"Hello Kol. Bye Kol." I tried to dodge him, but he sped up to stand in front of me.
"Wait a minute half-witch. You're going to leave my brother like this? After your… noisy night? He'll be devastated. Was he not up to the task? I could teach him a bit if that's a problem for you. You have my word that within a week you won't be able to stop…"
"Kol! For the bloody hell, stop this awkward conversation. I'm sorry for him, usually we keep him in a coffin." Rebekah cut him off and stood next to him, glaring at him furiously.
"Um… no problem, I guess. If you don't mind, I'm gonna go now."
With even redder cheeks, I ran out of the mansion and, at the speed of light, got into my car, driving far away from this town. I needed rest, and I knew only one person who would be willing to take me under their roof without any questions.
"Hi Katherine. Where are you right now?"
~•♤♤♤•~
"Are you sure it's just food poisoning? Won't you die here suddenly? Do you want my blood?" Katherine flooded me with questions as I returned to our table.
It's been 2 months since my "great escape," as Damon liked to call it, from Mystic Falls. At that time, I was traveling with Katherine around the United States, doing what I wanted to do most: seeing the world (starting with small things like staying in all states). After the brunette gave the cure to Elijah (while experiencing her epic love story with him, which ended with her heartbreak over Elena's meddling and Elijah's doubts), she decided to accompany me on my quest.
I had to arrange everything in my head. What I wanted out of life, who I wanted to be, and so on.
That was the main purpose of this trip.
In fact, I helped Katherine heal her broken heart and tried to avoid the topic of Klaus Mikaelson like the plague. With small or big successes depending on the day.
Sometimes Damon, Stefan, or Bonnie would mention how snappy he'd become after my sudden departure or that he was asking them about my whereabouts. The worst was his drunken voicemails he left. They ended after the first month, but they were the biggest test of my perseverance. I had to piece my twisted life together before adding my love problems with the world's (nearly) oldest living vampire to the puzzle.
At least that was the plan until those New Orleans bitches got me.
As soon as we left the bar, some girls accosted us and knocked us out with magic. I woke up in some cold, dank, musty crypt with Katherine by my side. At least I wasn't alone. We both had a better chance of defeating those witches. The new thing in those two months was my sudden ability to do magic without any source of energy. It looked like my abilities were starting to screw up too.
"Are you Y/N Y/S?" one of the witches approached us, staring at me warily.
"One and only. May I know who I am having the pleasure of?"
"Sophie Deveraux."
"Sophie. Some time ago, I knew a girl with this name. She got under my skin too. She is dead now. You can guess what happened to her."
"Yeah. It's definitely her. I couldn't imagine someone more of this psycho's type." she told her friends. The women grabbed us both and led us out of the makeshift cell to drag us to the main hall of the crypt.
"Allright. Can one of us tell why you are holding us here?"
"We need you, sugar, but your friend is just an accessory, so if you want both of you to get out of this somehow, you'll keep quiet." seeing that I had no intention of objecting, the unknown woman smiled victoriously. "Good girl."
I gave her a sweet smile before breaking her neck with a flick of my wrist. There was a sudden commotion around us. Katherine suffered a brain aneurysm after one of the witches raised her hand on her. The brunette screamed once before someone else appeared in the crypt, tearing out the heart of the witch who was attacking her.
Elijah.
Elijah came to save the day.
"I thought you wanted to talk, and both Katherine and Y/N were supposed to be unharmed." he said in his legal tone, shoving his hands in his pockets as he stepped between me and Kath. The woman was as pleased with the presence of the original as I was.
"She started." Sophie pointed at me. Elijah turned to look at me. I shrugged.
"You make me." I answered her with a malicious smile.
"Y/N." the man said warningly. This noble bastard won't tell me what to do.
"Elijah. Nice to see you. Maybe you can tell us why we've been locked in some fucking tomb? Is this some kind of revenge of yours, or did we get caught in the crossfire of Mikaelson's skirmishes purely by chance?"
"I would like to know that too. You wanted to be heard. Speak, before I change my mind." he turned to the witches without changing his defensive position.
I gave Katherine a brief, knowing glance. The woman reluctantly nodded at me. Great. We have personal cannon fodder if things get hotter.
"Marcel Gerard, ruler of the city, forbade the witches of my coven to use any magic. We want your help. Especially your brother's."
"Niklaus? You have to make him go to town first. And as far as I know, she's not in the mood for any outings right now."
"Even if he gets a message from her?"
"Your mother didn't teach you not to point at people?"I growled at her as she did it again. "Besides, I didn't text… You have my phone, don't you?" I asked, realizing it was their only way of contacting the hybrid. The woman tossed me my phone with a sly smirk.
"Read." I scowled but followed her instructions anyway, wondering what it was that would make him stick his nose out of Mystic Falls.
"I need you, Klaus. New Orleans. Witches cemetery. Please help me. Yeah. I can already tell you that he won't come. We're waiting here for no reason."
"And why is that?"
"This news reeks of a damsel in distress from a mile away. I would never write to him like that. I also doubt if he even cares what happens to…" I stopped when I heard someone's scream in the distance. A man mentioned earlier had burst in with blood on his hands and lips.
Well… mistakes happen.
"Great! Now that we're all here, we can start. We need your help." The woman began to explain the whole thing about Marcel and the witches. Everything was clear except for one thing.
"And where exactly is my role in this Machiavellian plan of yours?" I asked, crossing my arms over my chest.
"And who said I would agree to it instead of just killing you all and taking Y/N out of here?"
"I can take myself and KATHERINE out, Klaus. I don't need your help."
"Oh, do you?" he took a few steps towards me to stand in front of me. I snorted, returning his dark gaze. There's no way I'll be afraid of him.
"That's how we get to the main topic." Sophie paused, catching our attention again. Klaus stood next to his brother, giving the witch his famous sinister look while he was waiting for her to continue. "You see, I have a special gift for knowing when a woman is pregnant."
"And how exactly is this fact important to us?"
"She's carrying Klaus' child."
I broke the sudden silence in the crypt with a very loud laugh.
"And you're insane or a very, very bad liar."
"I'm telling the truth! You're pregnant with his child." she tried desperately to convince us.
"Vampires can't procreate, ergo, I am not in any false pregnancy."
"Vampires can't. But werewolves can. And Klaus is both."
"That's ridiculous. Klaus, say something! She didn't tell the truth, did she?" I tried to find support from the speechless Klaus. By the way, I think it was the first time I saw him without words.
"Y/N, be quite for a second."
"What? Elijah, are you believing her?" the man responded with nothing, staring at me with a strange look.
Klaus walked over to me. He stopped a few steps in front of me, staring at my belly as if he was hypnotized.
"I can hear it." he whispered, looking at me in disbelief.
"Hear what?"
"The baby's heart."
"What? But... it's impossible." I suddenly felt my heart beating much faster, as I was unable to catch my breath properly.
"It is. Like being a hybrid or a witch without her own magic. And yet we're here. And we gonna have a baby."
"No. That's a lie. I... we... I need fresh air." I avoided the brothers standing in front of me and headed the way Klaus had come from earlier. Unfortunately, one of these witches blocked my way and grabbed my arm tightly.
"You're not going anywhere until we settle the details of our deal." right after she said that, I felt her hand being removed from me. I was pulled against someone's strong chest. The familiar smell of Klaus' perfume brought me a momentary sense of relief.
"Touch her again, and I'll make sure that's the last thing you gonna do before I take your miserable life away from you." Klaus growled, tightening his protective grip on me and scouring the present witches with a hostile glare.
"Calm down, both of you. Neither of you will have any use for her if she faints here. Klaus, take her outside. Elijah and I will take care of everything."
Klaus glanced at Elijah. His brother nodded, encouraging him to leave. The hybrid took my hand gently and led us out onto the streets of New Orleans. We stopped in a square. Klaus sat me down on a bench and knelt in front of me, carefully watching me take slow, deep breaths, trying to calm down.
When I was sure my magic wouldn't suddenly blow up the whole city, I opened my eyes tentatively to meet the vampire's concerned gaze. I swallowed, turning my eyes away from him. He was still kneeling in front of me with his hands on my lap.
"Are you better?"
"I think so." I glanced at him nervously, fiddling with the bracelets on my wrist to internally brace myself for asking the original thousand-year-old hybrid about something incredibly... stupid. "Can you... go to the one place with me?"
"Are you sure you want to go back there, love?" I shivered when I heard this familiar nickname. I missed this. Klaus misread my reaction as he shrugged off his leather jacket and covered me with it.
"Thanks. I don't want to go back there. I think, well, I need to be perfectly sure it's true that..." I stopped, unable to say the words aloud. It would have been too real then, and right now I couldn't accept even the slightest possibility.
"That we're going to be parents?"
"Yhm. Will you go with me to the gynecologist? I don't want to do this alone."
"Anything you want, love. I'll check the address." he sat next to me and started searching for the location of the nearest clinic on his phone.
As we sat together in silence, I began to wonder at the absurdity of this situation. And the improbable, rational behavior of the hybrid sitting next to me.
"Klaus?" I asked, yanking him off the phone for a moment.
"Yes?"
"You're not... you know. Crazy about this? Or something like that. I mean... I thought you gonna ask me if it's yours, of course if it even exist, but still. You're so... calm. Like not you."
"Would you rather me to run mad around town and deny our baby?" I chuckled, imagining his lunatic walk through the streets.
"No. To be honest, I would have expected something like that than this, but it's a nice surprise. It's enough that one of us is scared to death. Thank you for keeping a cold head."
"Don't get used to it, love. C'mon. I know where to go."
In less than five minutes, we got to the building and waited in line. There were many other people in the waiting room, but what caught my attention the most was a couple sitting in the corner. Husband and wife. The woman was probably in her third trimester (or had quadruplets. God, please let me have only one if there are any.) The man whispered something tenderly into her belly, and she smiled at him with just as much adoration. Involuntarily, I imagined Klaus and myself in this situation. I glanced at the tense vampire next to me. He was also staring at the couple.
"Y/N Y/S?"
"It's me."
"Are you going alone or do you have any company, dear?"
"My boyfriend is coming with me." I said, taking Klaus' hand. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw an amused smirk on his lips. We started walking hand in hand behind the doctor. The vampire leaned toward me.
"Boyfirend, huh?" he whispered in my ear, clearly pleased with the situation.
"Don't get used to it, love." I repeated his earlier words, trying to imitate his tone of voice. The man chuckled, politely following the doctor with me.
I had to admit that it was funny to watch Klaus in such a... strange situation. His nervous, slightly stressed demeanor gave me courage as I lay there waiting for the ultrasound results. The cold gel tickled slightly, but I gritted my teeth, waiting for the final confirmation of my fate.
"There it is. That's your baby. Congratulations!"
Klaus put his hand on my shoulder and leaned gently toward the small screen. I stared at the tiny speck as if it were enchanted. It really was happening. I will be a mother.
"Do you want to hear your baby's heartbeat?"
"Could you give us first a second alone, doctor?" Klaus spoke as he saw me still staring blankly at the screen.
"Of course. I'll be back in a few minutes."
"Oh, my God. It's real. We'll have a baby." I choked out after a few seconds of silence between us.
"You took that information really quickly, love."
I punched him lightly on the shoulder, finally turning my attention to the man standing next to me.
"Stop joking with me. Aren't you scared? I mean, a few hours ago we were on the other side of the country, living our lives, and now we're looking at some stain, which is our baby. Are you that calm, or am I being dramatic?"
"Of course I'm afraid, but I know we're going to figure it out. Maybe if it were someone other than you, I would be paranoid and mad, but it's you. With you by my side? Nothing can go wrong." I burst into tears at his emotional confession. Stupid pregnancy hormones.
"Come here, you idiot." I wrapped my arms around his waist and snuggled into him. "I hope Katherine got our things back."
"Yes. Speaking about her..." he said, moving away from me to look at my face.
"She is staying with me and you're not going to kill her." I said it in a tone that left no room for any objection. It's been 500 years; whatever conflict there was between them should be over by now.
"Absolutely not."
"Yes? So be prepared that if this little one is a girl, she'll be named after aunt Katherine, who couldn't be there for her mom because her dad is acting like he's on his period."
"You know you've been pregnant for a few hours, and you're already using it against me?" he asked resignedly. The grimace on his face was a clear sign of my victory.
"Get used to it. You're stuck with me for a while."
"I think I can work with that. Let's go home. I think uncle Elijah and Katherine will want to see the first photo of the newest member of the Mikaelson family."
~•♤♤♤•~
*Two months leter*
"Good morning, Y/N"
"Morning Elijah." I grunted from my book, never taking my eyes off the text I was reading.
"Have you eaten yet? Want me to make you pancakes?"
"Actually..." I didn't have time to answer, because an extremely happy hybrid came out of the kitchen with a large tray on which was my breakfast.
Elijah looked at his brother in disbelief as he sat comfortably next to me on the couch and began feeding me with a fork while I continued to read my book as if nothing had happened.
"Niklaus. Can you explain?" his brother was shifting his bewildered gaze between us.
"His werewolf hormones tell him to look after me. So when I told him I wasn't having breakfast today because I didn't want to stand in this heat by the stove, he made it his morning's main goal to make me a decent meal. At least Marcel and the witches will get some rest from him today."
"Werewolf hormones?" very amused Kol entered the living room, staring at the hybrid with a malicious smirk.
"Yes, brother. Werewolf hormones." Klaus' cool tone caught my attention away from the book.
"Of course... your werewolf hormones. So that's what they call it now. Just don't flood Y/N with this sudden tenderness, or the girl will get scared and run away from you again." before Klaus could make any move towards his younger brother, I grabbed his hand and moved him so that I could get more comfortable on his chest.
"He is weird." I commented as I took a grape from the bowl and popped it into Klaus' mouth, much to Elijah's astonishment.
"Weird? No. Just a little joker. I have to go now. I'll meet you later, Niklaus. Please, don't start without me."
"Do I want to know what he was talking about?" I asked, giving him a curious look.
"It depends. Will you get angry?"
"If it has to do with that teenage witch, Davina, that your adopted son treats like a daughter? Probably." his silence was an answer enough. I pulled away from him, eyeing him disapprovingly.
"Klaus."
"Yes, love?"
"Promise me you're not going to hurt her."
"And what does it matter? I'm not Elijah, how sure are you that I'll keep my word?" my angry look, however, fortunately made him give up. "Alright. She'll be fine." he sighed, rolling his eyes.
"Thank you. On the way back, you can stop by the store and buy me more chocolate and ice cream."
"As you wish."
He got up from the couch, placed a quick kiss on my already-showing belly, and left the living room, passing Rebekah as she entered. His sister looked at me curiously.
"What?" I asked, fed up with her penetrating gaze.
"Nothing. You two seemd very... compatible with each other. I'm impressed."
"Well, he's the father of my baby. We have to get along. For the baby's sake, it's best if we're friends."
"Surely." she hummed, completely unconvinced.
"Rebekah. What do you mean?"
"I mean that "just friends" wouldn't act that way. My brother never treated anyone with such affection. He's doing everything he can to impress you. For a bloody hell, he even changed his plan to take over the city for you!"
"She is right." Katherine walked past her and threw herself on the couch next to me. "He does everything he can think of to make you fall in love with him. For example, that "almost date" at the best restaurant in New Orleans last week. Or the fact that you've been given unlimited access to his credit cards, safes, stashes of clothes, and God knows what else. Or that weekend out of town so you could relax. Do you think they seriously didn't have a second room with two beds in the hotel?"
"Nik used the one bed trope? He's even more desperate than I previously thought." Rebekah snorted as she poured herself a glass of whiskey.
"Even if what you say is true, which I doubt, I have no intention of changing anything. Klaus and I work well as friends, and for the sake of this child, we will continue to be them so."
"So you don't love him back?" Rebekah questioned, coming to me, so she could stay in front of me. Her evaluative look somehow made me feel guilty.
"It doesn't matter what I want or feel. The most important thing for me is my child and I will do everything to ensure at least a little normality for them. If Klaus and I tried to be together and it didn't work out... At least this child deserves reasonably normal parents."
"What if you were happy together and created a loving family? Wouldn't that be better for everyone?"
"It's not worth the risk, Bekah." I replied, getting up from the couch to escape the inconvenient conversation with the original vampire.
"Risk of what?"
Losing him.
I didn't answer as I left the room. I decided to hide in the library for the rest of the day and try to forget the doubts the blonde had stirred up in me.
But my wild imagination did not give up so easily. I began to consider a possible relationship with Klaus. Despite what I told the girls, I wasn't blind to Klaus'… flirtatious remarks and behavior. I saw every long, stolen glance at me, every quick look at my lips during any conversation, and most of all, the longing shining in his eyes that was so similar to mine and that I somehow managed to hide from him.
I wanted to spend my life with him. But I also knew that I'm not enough to keep him away from his scheming and fighting for power. For the good of this baby, I had to be content with being his formal one-night stand and friend at best. Even if my heart yearned for him every single day.
Thinking about my unattainable future, I didn't even notice when I got to the library. But I certainly saw two people kissing in the room.
Klaus and Camille. At least he cleared up all my doubts.
I was probably the only one who noticed how my heart shattered into a million pieces. At least until Klaus pulled away from her, confused, and spotted me in the doorway.
"Y/N." he whispered, terrified.
"I'm sorry, I didn't want to interrupt… I'll leave you alone."
"No! Y/N, wait!" he shouted, trying to get to me, but before he got even a step closer, I used my magic to teleport myself to a New Orleans street.
I leaned against the building next to me as the first post-teleport symptoms started to hit me and my head started spinning a bit. I shouldn't have done it while being pregnant, but well… I couldn't stay in the same room with these two any longer.
Once I had recovered, I decided to order myself a hot chocolate and sit with it in the park to collect my thoughts. I had to come up with some clever, eloquent way out of this predicament. And most of all, refrain from crying.
Thinking about this situation, after all, everything happened as I wanted. Klaus had found someone else to adore, so I could stop worrying about the deterioration of my relationship with the Mikaelsons.
We would be friends.
Just as I wished.
The only problems were my stupid broken heart and festering feelings of jealousy.
I wiped a tear running down my cheek with the sleeve of my sweatshirt. I shook my head, taking a few deep breaths to calm myself down. Something that stupid couldn't get me off balance. I had to be strong. If not for myself, then at least for this little one.
My phone buzzed. I pulled it out of my pants pocket and glanced at the screen to see the photo of Klaus sleeping with me on the couch that I had set as his contact picture.
I remembered that night. It was one of the first month at the Mikaelson Mansion and also my favorite.
"Can't sleep?" Klaus stepped out of the shadows to stand in front of the fireplace, which flames I had been staring at earlier.
"Not even tried."
"May I?" he asked, pointing to the blanket that covered me. I nodded, opening the hem so he could slip into the space next to me. He put his arm around me, moving us into a more comfortable position. One of his hands automatically went to my slightly rounded belly. I sighed, resting my head against his shoulder, and returned to staring at the flames of the fire. "What's bothering you?"
"Remember when Tyler kidnapped me and…"
"Please tell me you're not going to lecture me again about how I shouldn't have attacked Elijah." he interrupted me with a groan of displeasure.
"I'm not, but your brother didn't deserve this. Even if he was talking some shit about you. You knew I would never believe it."
"You wouldn't?"
"Of course not. You always try to protect your family, not always in a good way, I have to admit, but still, I know you would never use your own child for your games. I trust you." he tightened his grip on me and cleared his throat.
"It's good to know you're at least on my side, love."
"Your siblings too. If you'd just let them in, maybe you'd see it too, but that's a topic for another time."
"I know better ways to spend my free time with you, love. One of them brought us to this situation." he smiled slyly, wiggling his eyebrows suggestively.
"Very funny, but we have to talk about something serious."
"I'm sorry. What are you thinking about?"
"Have you ever thought about whether there is a chance for our child to be… a tribrid?"
"Tribrid?" he asked, confused, stopping to play with my hair.
"You know. You're half vampire, half werewolf; I'm a witch, siphon, but still… Can our baby inherit all of this from us?"
"They might as well only have the gene of a werewolf, a witch, a vampire, or a hybrid. I think all options are possible. Maybe in my mother's grimoire we can find the answer to that question. These books are as old as the world."
"You can include the birth of a miracle baby in your search. I hope we won't summon a demon into the world." I joked, turning slightly to look at his face again.
"I thought you already knew that the demon has been walking around this world for a long time, and you're cuddling with him on the couch. By the way, it's our search."
"Our? You seriously want to just give me access to your mother's precious books? The same ones that have so much knowledge inside them that you won't let any other witch see them whole, or even your siblings?" I was shocked. I would never in my life expect something like this from him, but on the other hand, he has done astonishing things many times before.
"You're different."
"Like how?"
"I trust you."
"You did?" I whispered after a few seconds of silence. Those words were more striking than three others of equal importance he might have said to me. Klaus doesn't trust people that easily, I think he falls in love with them more often…
"You wouldn't be the first to hear about all my plans if I didn't. Besides, you're the mother of my heir..."
"Keep treating your family like a fucking dynasty, and you'll have to buy me a crown and my own castle." I cut him off when I heard that horrible term for our baby.
"Why do you need a castle when you already have your throne, love?"
"You're impossible." I chuckled at this awful attempt at flirting.
"That's why you like me."
"Maybe." I yawned suddenly, unaware of how tired I was. I felt the hybrid's soft, warm lips against my hair before both the blanket cocoon and his grip tightened around me.
"Sleep. I'll stay with you and I will chase away your nightmares."
"How did you know?" I asked, feeling him gently brush away the strands of hair that had fallen over my eyes.
"I know you. Besides, I can hear everything through these thin walls. I would rather hear your screams for other reasons than nightmares."
"Deviant."
"Only yours." I heard as if through a haze before falling into a deep, peaceful sleep.
The next day, Katherine found us sleeping together and took a picture of us. One of my favorites.
Before I could answer the phone, I felt someone snatch it from my hand, and something hit my head at breakneck speed, knocking me out. Stupid witches.
~•♤♤♤•~
~A few hours later~
I was kneeling in front of the crib that Katherine and Rebekah had set up after the whole witches' fiasco. After those damn witches kidnapped me, they cast some strange spell on me and the baby to speed up her (as it turned out) growth and thus her birth.
A few hours ago, I was a human pregnant with a hybrid. Now I was a heretic, the mother of the thyrbid, the most powerful creature on earth.
I guess life with the Mikaelsons was all about sudden, unexpected changes. At least they weren't boring.
Elijah, Kol, Klaus, and Marcel were running around the city, killing the last witches who had allied with Esther. Rebekah and Katherine have been delegated to look after me and the baby until the boys get the hang of the situation. A bit sexist, but I didn't have the energy to argue about it. Not after I so impressively returned to the graveyard and killed half the coven.
After feeding on the blood from the bag, the girls gave me a moment alone with my sleeping daughter. Her first day in this world, and she was already trying to get killed.
"Y/N." Klaus' tired sigh snapped me out of my thoughts. For the first time in hours, I shifted my gaze to something other than my daughter and met a face as tired and bloodstained as mine.
"Hi." he knelt uncertainly beside me, glancing at the baby sleeping in the cradle.
"She is beautiful. So similar to you." he whispered softly, afraid he would wake her up at any moment.
"She has a look of the devil in her eyes. That's all you."
The girl stirred in her sleep, as if hearing us talk about her. Two loving, child-infatuated looks appeared on Klaus' and mine's faces.
"She needs a name. You made a decision?"
"I was thinking about Zoe and Caitlyn. But I think we both know that Katherine Jr. is the best fit for her."
"God no." I chuckled, trying not to wake the baby after seeing his terrified look..
"Got a counterproposal?"
"Hope."
"Hope. That's actually nice. Hope Mikaelson."
"Mikaelson?"
"What? Are you not the father?" I asked teasingly.
"I'm but... I thought you'd want her to have your last name."
"Mikaelson suits her better." I replied with a shrug.
"Well, then I guess it will be Hope Y/N Mikaelson." I smiled at him, resting my head tiredly on his shoulder. We both stared in awe at the new member of the Mikaelson family.
"How did you come to that? Hope?"
"With Elijah's little help. When I found you… dead. Elijah said that I ruined our family's last hope by making out with this bartender, which, by the way, is not exactly true."
"Klaus..."
"No. Let me finish. I've never been so helpless and scared in all my life as I was a few hours ago. Never, not even in the worst, darkest moments of my life, have I been so broken, so despairing, than when I held your dead body. Whatever you think now, whatever you feel, the truth has to be told. I love you. I've loved you since the first time I saw you, and each day only brings me closer to you. You're the only one who can make me so mad, terrified, or happy. You taught me unconditional love, and even if you don't share my feelings, I want you to know that you completely changed me. It will be my life's purpose to make sure that our daughter and you are safe and satisfied." I stared at him with tears in my eyes, listening to his touching confession.
"I was so mad at you and Camille, but... I can't blame her; falling for you is as easy as breathing. Not when I did it a long time ago."
"You did?"
"Yes. And I don't want to hide it anymore. I can't hide it anymore. As I turned into vampire, everything I feel for you since all this time is more intensive. My desires, my love, and my longing - I feel them so much that I can't even imagine spending one more hour without your words, touch, or kiss. I don't want to live in a world where we're just friends. So if you promise that this is forever, then I..."
Klaus cut me off, pulling me into a longing, long-expected, passionate kiss. I moaned into his mouth, pulling him as close as possible by the strands of his hair. At one point, I bit his lip until it bled. My new ability was immediately activated. My fangs slid out of my gums by themselves, digging into his lip and sucking more of his delicious, sweet blood. We broke apart when we were completely out of breath. Klaus licked his lips, staring lustfully at my black-veined face and bloody mouth.
"I promise. You're mine. For always and forever, love."
"And you're mine. For always and forever."
"Aw... Congratulations, Nik! It only took you one child to make her yours. I thought it would take you at least three." Kol suddenly appeared in the doorway, interrupting our moment.
Klaus growled at him and threw the baby monitor at his brother. Kol dodged at the last second and tossed the device back at him, sticking out his tongue before he ran as fast as his legs could take him. I giggled, drawing the hybrid into a tender kiss.
Yeah, I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.

Let's talk about TVD
For those who don't know TVD is the shortened name for the series known as The Vampire Diaries, the story centres around a girl by the name of Elena Gilbert after the tragic death of her parents.
Elena survives the accident that took her parents' lives and is preparing for her first day of school at the beginning of the series. Now, this all seems nice and mundane until the story progresses and she is dragged into the world of vampires, witches and werewolves, did I mention that she is a doppelganger and the most essential ingredient in a ritual that she has to die in. Yeah so not how she saw her life going.
To make matters worse she gets trapped in a love triangle between her boyfriend Stefan and his brother Damon. Right now that you are all caught up let's jump in.
While the show is quite popular and people celebrate the final victories of Elena and her friends I have an issue with multiple things.
Several Characters in this show are SA'ed one way or another and everyone acts like it's okay. When we are introduced to the Salvatore brothers the reason we are given for their feud is a woman. Not just any woman their sire and the 2nd doppelganger Katerina Petrova aka Katherine Pierce. She moves into their home and flirts with both men while compelling them to keep the relationship a secret from the other brother. While Damon was okay with her vampirism, Stefan was not he was horrified and did not want to be intimate with her anymore. What does Katherine do? Compel him to be fine with it and then continues to be intimate with him. Guys that isn't normal she should have stopped what she did was wrong. The second example is Damon Salvatore who I have to wonder if he is a serial offender what he did to Caroline was awful and nobody really told him off about it he even became best friends with her mother! Then he proceeds to do this with Andy Starr and admits that he was taught to do this by his mentor a female vampire by the name of Sage. He never apologises for these things. Others who come to mind are Klaus, Kol and Lucien however I can't confirm these so they are off the hook.
Elena Gilbert is either Toxic/narcissistic as hell. While at the beginning of the show, we see her as a mourning and afraid girl who is protective of her family which is not really who she is. She uses her friends to their own detriment not caring about the consequences until they really affect her. When she finds out about what Damon was doing to Caroline she scolded him briefly and moved on from the matter then after Caroline is changed she seems to completely forget why Caroline doesn't like Damon and even starts to treat him better than her friend. Another thing Bonnie Bennett has died countless times to protect and help Elena always at her own determent. When Bonnie dies she cries when she finds out it can kill Bonnie she cries but she does not learn from this at all, may I remind yall Bonnie's grams died doing something for ELENA. Then when it comes to not making enemies this girl just makes things worse for herself I mean yes Rebekah was the villain in her book but she had a chance to earn respect and Rebekah's trust what does this girl do stabs her in the back literally then pouts and cries when Rebekah runs her off of a bride when she in her infinite wisdom would not have been in that situation if she had left the woman alone. The situation with the cure as well pissed me off as they knew the consequences of killing an original and chose to kill Kol committing mass genocide and leaving Klaus with his brother's corpse. We all know they could have incapacitated him instead or like any wise person wait on Klaus. Elena is everyone's focus and they constantly sacrifice for her and she does not ever decide to do something smart about it to have a peaceful life. That bothers me.
Caroline and Bonnie Deserved Better. Let's start with our dear Bennett witch, Bonnie Shelia Bennett is a year younger than Elena and so far has died more times than anyone in the show. She never gets a happy ending at all Luka was not on her side and dies, Ben kidnaps her, Jeremy cheats on her and eventually dies, Kai is infatuated with her but tries to kill her, Kol and her would have been fun but it never came to pass and Enzo is killed by Stefan. In addition to it, all her family literally has bad luck with doppelgangers, Amara ran off with Qetsiyah's fiance, Katherine sold out Emily and got her burned at the stake and Elena was the reason Bonnie's mum lost her magic and became a vampire, Shelia died and Bonnie well you get my point. Everything was for Elena and Bonnie lost everything so many times. Now unto Caroline, she has been compelled, raped, taken advantage of, killed and turned without her consent, hated by her parents, and tortured by one of them. And before Klaus, she was of the opinion that every guy she was interested in preferred Elena. And sometimes Elena made things worse. She had a crush on Stefan he turned her down for the copy of his ex/rapist. She likes Matt that's cool and all but he still loves and will always choose Elena. He even looks to her for guidance/approval when it comes to his relationship with the blonde. And Tyler is an idiot who is situationally in love with caroline. The only man that really and truly wanted her honestly she could not be with cause he was Elena's enemy. And she only tells him on the condition he leaves town, not for her sake but everyone else's. When she finally gets Stefan he dies on the same day they get married. Caroline and Bonnie never get their happy-ending relationships because both of them lose the men they love every time. In addition, I would like to point out that they sacrificed so much and hardly got anything from it. Moving on from their love lives when someone turns off their humanity a lot of the things they say are honest to a point. I firmly believe a lot of the misery Elena put the both through without her humanity was the deeply buried thoughts the girl had. There is so much more I want to touch on but I'll leave these three points for now. Please note that I will be doing another relationship dive on TVD and the next show getting talked about will be either MLB, H2O just add water or Teen Wolf.

I was tagged by the lovely @evilbunnyking (go check out her wayhaven chronicles fic pls, i dont even know what twc is but it doesnt matter when the writing is lovely)
I keep forgetting to write what i was tagged for lol. ANYWAY - to post an older fic! This is a repost of what I think is my fave thing I've ever written. It's klaroline, and apologies if you saw this back in the day. This is inspired by and includes a repeated line from a Richard Siken poem.
tagging @stars-and-darknessess @morningstargirl666 @carry-the-sky @purplesigebert
@thetourguidebarbiedebarbie @kirythestitchwitch to do this too! (no need to read, it's 2700 words)
I am the thing that is hurtling towards you…
At first, she is far away, too far for even his enhanced senses. She is merely a title - 'the doppelganger's friend'. Then a flash of blond waves, a cheerleader's uniform. He notes her for her worth as a chess piece, the feint to his second play. He sees that Mystic Falls friendships run deep and he uses the folly of it to his advantage.
Plans within plans within plans and he bares his wolf teeth in victory.
I am the thing that is hurtling towards you…
She's there, in the school, and how perfect it is, for here is another to press deep on the witch's pressure points; to find a way to make his hybrids live past a few desperate gasps before the light dies in their eyes. Her voice blares warning and he dismisses her concern with a dose of reality, not bothering to look up as 'love' spills from his lips. He knows her face well by now, does not need another study. He remembers - before the hybrid ritual when he watched her talking with the pup in the cellar, her quick mind making connections and his own name rolling off her lips. He treasured the fear in her tone, and he is glad she is here now to witness his triumph. He has noted the hand that reaches out to soothe Tyler's feverish brow. The two must dream themselves star-crossed lovers, the Romeo and Juliet of the supernatural world, mortal enemies drawn together. By his hand, if truth be told. They should be thanking him.
And so he layers plans within plans within plans to test a new hybrid's loyalty.
I am the thing that is hurtling towards you…
He hears the death rattle of her breath as he rounds the corner into her room. Her hair clouds on the pillow and the shadows loom deep on her face as she speaks:
"Are you here to kill me?"
It's an odd question, for she knows well the cut of a werewolf's teeth is fatal, but he thinks that she says it as a condemnation, that she wields the only weapon she has, her esteem. He admires her fire and thinks that maybe this one should be spared, that there are lights that should always be allowed to shine.
There is a reverence in his hand as it sweeps aside the thin blanket she's pulled over the mark of his hybrid's loyalty. Oh, she doesn't have long, he thinks, as he eyes the angry red weals that mar her creamy skin. His anger at Stefan rises up in a flare for a moment, for look at what his erstwhile friend made him do, to use this chess piece so brutally.
It's nothing personal, he says, and he still believes it. For now.
She shifts, and the light catches on a bracelet, some hideous, common, semblance of jewelry that has the aesthete in him crying out in horror. He fingers a charm and thinks that it does not suit her in the least.
"You have to adjust your perception of time when you become a vampire, Caroline." And he knows then, when he says those words, that he will let her live should she so choose. But indeed it should be her choice, for there is a part of him that looks back on the boy he was and dreams of the comfort of cold earth cradling his bones. It is a small, secret part of him and he cannot believe he speaks of it now to her. Perhaps it is her spirit that calls to him, perhaps it is that darkness that he sees simmering underneath the skin, he's not entirely certain.
All he knows in the moment is that he sees her wrist and that damnable bracelet and thinks she should have a chance to wear the finest jewels.
So he chooses to give her a choice, knowing which one she will make, closing his eyes and breathing out in a rush at the beautiful monster's fangs closing upon his wrist.
I am the thing that is hurtling towards you…
Although Klaus misses the spirit of centuries past, modern day does offer a world of convenience at his fingertips. Klaus brushes a hand across the tulle of the evening gown he ordered that morning and had a hybrid pick up in Richmond. He imagines the color vibrant against her skin, his birthday gift sliding down her arm as she crooks an arm through his. He thinks that he should show her his paintings, no, he wants to show her his art. Wants to see her face light up with the same fire as when she claimed her life from his blood.
Later, he eyes her across the floor's expanse and drinks her in, those moments before her gaze snags unwillingly on his caught forever in his memory. Her hair falls in delicate tendrils to frame an elegant neck. Her eyes dart about, taking in the glamour of the evening, and he sees the nervousness that creeps into her gaze. He wonders then about her past, about what she's seen, where she's traveled, what dreams slide beneath the sheets with her as that golden hair fans out on the pillowcase. His hand twitches with the urge to paint her.
He dances with Miss Mystic Falls and admires her carriage. Her elegant, long-fingered hand is clasped delicately in his own, and their movements are fluid. He finds himself looking forward to how she'll manage to insult him this time.
She clasps her shawl around her shoulders and he smiles at how human she still is. He remembers the rise and fall of her chest from her birthday, the convention of breathing another instinct remained. He can pinpoint the moment he stopped his own - on the run from Mikael, dragging Rebekah through the damp forest, mouths wet with blood from a recent meal. A rotted stump, a mound of damp leaves, a hand over Rebekah's mouth and his own breath held until he realized.
He shakes the reverie away and refocuses on the vision in front of him.
"Do you like horses?"
—-
He is not used to being rebuked, and he blames his surprise as much as anything for his attempt to try again. It is also a thing, a slowly growing thing, that there is something between them, and it's not just in his own head. So it's another attempt at conversation, and he delights at what makes it past the façade of disdain she armors herself with. He sees it slip as she looks at his drawings, her face awed. His heart does something odd just then, a little stuttering flip at her regard. He wonders what style would be her favorite, what painting would stop her in her tracks at the Louvre, the Hermitage. Would she pause at his own? Admire the depth of color that he spent days perfecting?
And then the moment is over and her eyes flash with anger and his own echo in fury and a line has been crossed. He grits his teeth to hold the roar in and only just stops himself from tearing his Botticelli mimicry in two. She is gone, then, the words an acid burning in the pit of his stomach. He leaves the study for a moment, pulling close to a brunette server carrying a full tray of champagne flutes. The glasses clatter noisily to the ground, but he does have the presence of mind to drag the server back into the room (mustn't upset mother) before tearing the man's throat open. Klaus spins the server around and the shocked scream cuts off abruptly, eyes dilating from the compulsion. Klaus' fury grows from his own sloppiness.
I am the thing that is hurtling towards you…
He knows her role by now, his little blonde distraction, the baring of cleavage as she enters the bar almost comical in its obviousness. So when she makes a loop and heads right back out the door, he doesn't care that he's being lured. He follows with a spring in his step and a grin dimpling his cheeks, the thrill of the chase flaring brightly in his chest. He has a captive audience, he knows it, and he will use everything at his disposal to place the seeds of doubt in her mind. She can't be that great an actress - while she is too smart to be seduced by him (and oh at that line, the pang in his chest grows) - she doesn't realize the fundamental truth that familiarity breeds more than just contempt. But he feels the urgency, the time slipping away, and he wants to drink in whatever truths she will let spill from her lips, this fascinating creature with her bright smile that hides.
So captivated, he forgets the ruse for a moment. Forgets himself, forgets that the world is a betrayal, forgets that she cares nothing for him beyond a distraction. The pang in his chest twists into something darker, cold anger rushes through his veins as his dead heart beats double time to spread the poison of his rage.
And so he makes plans within plans within plans and tries not to think of her.
I am the thing that is hurtling towards you…
He inhales sharply at the sight of Caroline in her red dress, hair up in perfect finger waves, for his imagination is vivid and he sees her on his arm in Chicago in the 20s. He pictures them in the corner booth as their eyes meet across their meal. He pictures her monster's visage receding, veins fading until her skin is unmarred except for the drop of blood that she licks off the corner of her mouth. She would have been a queen.
So he tells her so, and she rebukes him, and his patience is starting to wear thin, he admits, for it is not his nature to pursue. He manipulates, he seduces, he coerces, he forces, he plans, he tracks, but he does not pursue. So he tells her the truth as he sees it because he's tired of her hiding behind her sharp retorts and he sees to the core of her and why won't she listen?
So he continues planning his plans within plans and he tries not to include her in them.
I am the thing that is hurtling towards you…
He smells the vervain and the rawness of her wounds and his breath is at her ear and he clutches her like a thing once lost and she is safe, she is safe.
I am the thing that is hurtling towards you…
Her worry washes over him like a tidal wave, and oh god it is not for him but he lets himself pretend for just a moment because the words she says make it so easy. "Klaus is dead," and her voice breaks like she's mourning him and it strikes a match in his chest and the ember flares.
He cringes even as he says the words, for he knows better than to be this obvious. "You're strong, and you have a beautiful future ahead of you." He is surprised she does not catch on, blames her distress. He wonders if this is what it is like to truly embody a role, to be an actor upon a stage and feel as if the words were meant for you and not a character.. Because he kisses her and it is only as their tongues slide that he remembers this is not for him and never will be.
I am the thing that is hurtling towards you…
It's easy to be a stalker when you have a team of sire-bonded hybrids at your disposal to gather information. He flaps the folded paper against his leg and grins - Caroline Forbes, journalism superstar. He simply must bring up her editorial diatribe on the vagaries of school lunches the next time she's sent as a distraction. Not that he disagreed that hot dogs were an offense against "both nutrition and humanity".
He spots the Miss Mystic Falls application on the corner of his desk and slips it in the inside pocket of his suit jacket, smoothing his hair with a practiced flick. He should have eaten before he got dressed, and he rolls his eyes as he realizes he'll need to drink from a glass. It wouldn't do to show up to his first date with blood spotting his collar.
When he arrives he waits on the edge of the lawn to get the lay of the land. He sees Tyler and that wolf bitch, spots Elena - and there - there she is ordering her minions about like the queen she is. He watches for a moment, smile on his face as the staff scuttles away, chastened.
"And how am I doing?"
His heart warms at her answer and it is those moments, when she drops her guard, that add more fuel to his imagination's fire. Later she opens to him, as if…he is a friend and he wedges his foot in the door for he won't let it close, won't lose this traction. He opens up to her, because he sees the way her eyes change, disdain and hatred turning for just a split second to something warmer. He wants to see more of it, and so he tells her of the hummingbird. And if a part of him also loves that the whelp of a hybrid sees it all, hears his speech and sees the way her eyes change, well then, isn't that part of the plan?
I am the thing that is hurtling towards you…
His rage is cold and calculated and moves around inside his skin. He shoves Carol Lockwood's head under the water of the fountain and for a moment wishes he could do the same to Caroline, to be rid of her traitorous heart. To feel the life ebb away and know he will reclaim himself because he is tired of the lie he keeps telling and why does he keep that tiny shred of hope that lets him care? He feels Mrs. Lockwood's struggles lessen, hears the sound of lungs filling with water and he plans his plans within plans and if he wonders how he'll acquit himself with her for just a moment, it's a moment that swiftly passes.
Carol's movements cease and she stares the glassy-eyed stare of the lifeless, moments ago staring at the bottom of the pond while the brain sent panic signals through the nervous system and the heart pumped and the lungs pulled. Klaus lets go, stands, and lets the lie continue, trapped for now beneath cold fury.
I am the thing that is hurtling towards you…
His brother lies dead and his scream is not loud enough, can never be loud enough. He is trapped and he stares at the body of his brother, the smoke still rising from his corpse. Klaus spent centuries keeping them safe and now an impudent vampire and her baby hunter brother have killed that which he vowed to protect and there is no scream loud enough to contain his rage.
So when Caroline comes in she becomes part of the plan, you're just collateral damage, love, nothing personal. One does not live a thousand years without being able to make up a plan on the fly and her disdain is a punch in the gut already soured by grief but the taste of her on his lips almost makes him regret.
She lays there, a sense of déjà vu punctuated by her rasping breath. She speaks and his heart twists and reminds him of everything he is not and can never have and Kol's body lays as a sentinel on the edges of his vision and her words punch a hole in his chest. As he often does with her, he pretends, and he lets hope ask the question, even if his words are laced with doubt.
Her breath falters and her eyes close and her chest stops rising and his heart won't stop twisting and he is undone. She ragdolls in his arms and it takes her a few terrifying moments to start sucking at the punctures in his wrist but she does, and he combs her hair back and mumbles into her hair promises he always intended to keep.
Because he sees it clearly, the thing that has been hurtling towards him for a year now, the flaring in his chest, the twist of his heart. He sees it clearly and he is surprised, for he doesn't feel weak.

I don’t wanna start a Caroline discourse and subject your inbox to all her stans. But after your recent post about reducing her screen time I just gotta mention there was this epic post on tumblr that talked about how Caroline hijacks a lot of storylines that should’ve been Bonnies or Tylers.
Like somehow Caroline became center of the Gemini coven storylines even though she originally had shit to do with it. And it was Bonnie and her family that had history with them.
Caroline gets invited to the Mikaelson’s ball cause Klaus “looooves” her. Even though Bonnie and Abby were actively working with Esther that episode and it would’ve made more sense for Klaus or Elijah to want to invite a Bennett witch even if it was just to keep a close eye on them.
Tyler’s wolf story becomes more about Caroline and her development. There’s probably more instances that I’m forgetting.
We all know why too.
But Anyway yeah, I agree, her character works better as a recurring.
And the thing about it is, she's in these storylines and adds absolutely nothing to them. She shows up to the Mikaelson ball just to dance with Klaus, literally nothing else happens. With the Gemini Coven, I'm, like, rusty on that storyline because it ended up being uninteresting but does she actually contribute anything to it or was she just used as an incubator and given no real interiority? Post season 2, Caroline is effectively just around.

Of Demodogs and Vampires
Imagine moving to the tiny town of Hawkins, Indiana. It's your last year of high school and you just want to get the year over with after all you've dealt with in the past, but unfortunately Hawkins is not as sleepy as it seems. Nor does your past seem to be done with you.
Tumblr media
Words: 10.6K Author's Note: Stranger Things modern!AU because I'm a weak ass bitch for a Billy who has shit together and is actually friends with those he once wronged. So for this imagine, let's just assume everything happened in their Junior year of high school so they at least have a chance at some normalcy senior year. Also Billy didn't get possessed, but he did find out everything going on which changed his perspective on everything.
Heads up, this is a crossover just because I felt like it. Oops.

Born and raised in Mystic Falls, you were absolutely in love with the little town where everyone knew everyone. The town events and local pageants were something you adored attending when you were a little girl, and you were ecstatic when you were finally old enough to help out around town and participate. But your carefree childhood didn't last long when one of your good friends lost her parents in a tragic accident. The whole town went into mourning when the Gilberts passed, and after that Mystic Falls was never the same.
Because vampires were real and it seemed like every adult over the age of eighteen in each of the Founding Families knew about it. Your family, however, would not have been in the know had Stefan Salvatore never infiltrated the high school. You had unknowingly befriended not one, but two vampires and your parents had started to become wary of your hometown when murder after murder took place. But not only vampires existed, oh no. Because another friend was a witch, two friends got turned into vampires, and a friend of a friend was a werewolf.
You couldn't count how many times your life had been threatened, but the last straw was when you and your parents had been taken as leverage. It seemed the Salvatores and the Gilberts always had something someone needed, and when your friends weren't exactly in the sharing mood then others around them paid the price- starting with the weakest link in the bunch. You and your parents had been taken, and they were forced to watch as your kidnappers took their anger out on you. It got so bad that when your friends finally came to the rescue, Stefan and Caroline had to feed you so much of their blood just so you'd survive. And then to keep your parents from being traumatized, Damon compelled them to forget what they had witnessed. After that, much to everyone's surprise, you asked him to compel them to want to move.
You had no destination in mind for the move, so you were surprised when your parents chose an up and coming town by the name of Hawkins. You had done your research on the town before actually moving, but a secret laboratory and experiments gone wrong was a heck of a lot better than a town run over with vampires, witches, and werewolves.
Hawkins, Indiana is the complete opposite of Mystic Falls, but you were willing to at least try and have somewhat of a normal life. And as somewhat of an apology, your vampire friends got your family a house on the wealthy side of Hawkins in a neighborhood called Loch Nora. It's a two story house, complete with a pool in the backyard, and you're surprised that you actually like the place. So you take the time to help your parents decorate accordingly and then spend the week before your senior year starts at Hawkins High by laying by the pool.
          - - - - - - - - - -
As your dad pulls into the parking lot of Hawkins High, you do your best to ignore the already lingering stares.
"I have a feeling you're going to be mighty popular today," your dad muses.
You sigh. "And I have a feeling it'll only last for about a class period or two before my resting bitch face puts them off."
He laughs as he comes to a stop just in front of the entrance to the school. "As long as you start no fights, you do what you have to do in order to survive your last year of high school."
"I plan on it."
Exiting the car, you offer your dad a brief grin before shutting the door and turning around to make your way inside the school. You enter the front office to get your class schedule and locker assignment, and before you can leave the secretary is flagging down some poor soul in hopes of giving you a brief tour.
The girl in question walks in, sheepishly smiling at you as she's told of her sudden new job.
"Um, hi. I'm Nancy."
"Y/N," you politely introduce yourself. So much for the resting bitch face. You can't exactly give attitude to the poor individual tasked with showing you around. The secretary coos about blossoming friendships, and you and Nancy can't help but smirk as you walk out of the office. "So, uh, thanks for this. I've never been the new girl before, but all TV shows always indicate the local high schooler does not like giving tours."
Nancy quietly chuckles. "It's no problem. I'm happy to help."
She takes your class schedule and you're thankful that she doesn't attempt small talk. As she walks you to where your first class will be, she mentions that you have your first and third classes with her, and that the two of you will even share a lunch period. As you go from class to class to lunch room, she invites you to sit with her and her friends should you need a place to sit.
"So that's about it," Nancy says. "We still have about ten minutes before school starts. I can introduce you to some people if you'd like."
"Um, maybe later?" You politely decline. "I just want to get a feel for the place before it's packed with other teenagers."
"Oh sure. Yeah. I'll see you later then."
As Nancy takes her leave, you glance around the empty hallway and retrace your steps so you have your classrooms somewhat memorized. You're the first one in your first class of the day and you linger around the teacher's desk until Nancy walks in and assures you the desk next to hers is available. It's easy to talk to Nancy, but the second your attention is elsewhere your welcoming demeanor drops and the others around you warily glance at you to determine whether or not it's worth a risk to chat you up. Fortunately, no one takes the risk until your second class of the day.
Carol Perkins reminds you of Caroline pre-vampirism, but this time you're not so patient with the entitled and too perky persona. So when she and boyfriend Tommy invite you to sit with them at their lunch table, and Carol pops her gum one time too many times, you set your pen down and meet their gazes head on. "Look. I'm sure you guys think you're the shit around here, but I couldn't care less." There's a snort of laughter to your left, but you pay it no mind as Carol and Tommy's too cheerful expressions suddenly transform into annoyed scowls. "I grew up with people like you and I'm so over the fake welcoming attitudes just so you can unearth every detail about me and then be the first to spread it around school. I don't need to surround myself with fake people to feel important and I sure as hell don't need to sit at a lunch table full of people kissing your ass. I'm good. Thanks."
"Wow," Tommy muses, "new girl's a bitch."
"And you'll do well to remember that," you retort without missing a beat. "I got bite to back up my bark. Can you say the same?"
"Whatever." Carol rolls her eyes, popping her gum yet again as she and Tommy stand up to go sit on the other side of the room.
"Alright, new girl. You're my new favorite person in this shit hole for a town." You glance at your left and you do your best to keep your features schooled. The boy sitting in the desk next to yours is all chiseled features, dirty blonde hair cropped short with a bit of curls sitting atop his head. He has a hint of a mustache and goatee going on, and you have to keep your cool as his blue eyes sparkle with mirth at you. "Billy Hargrove," he introduces himself.
"Y/N," you say, offering just the faintest of smiles. Billy grabs your class schedule from the corner of your desk then and you watch him study it before bullet pointing two of your classes- the second and seventh.
"Those are going to be your favorite classes all year round," he says as he hands it back.
It takes you a moment to connect the dots and when you do you shake your head at him. "Let me guess, it's because you're in them?" He only smirks in response.
That's the furthest you get with Billy before class starts and you keep half your focus on the lecture, jotting a few notes here and there while doodling in the margins of your paper. Before you know it the bell is ringing and Billy turns towards you.
"Mind if I borrow those notes of yours? We got a test at the end of the week."
"Oh. Uh, yeah," you say while handing the sheet of paper over. "But if I don't get them back by the end of the day, I will be a nuisance."
He chuckles. "Understood."
You meet Nancy in your third class and her presence is enough to make you relax. She asks how you've been faring and you tell her all about Carol, Tommy, and Billy. She assures you, you were right to not put up with Carol and Tommy, and you learn some interesting facts about Billy. Knowing Billy used to be a total asshole doesn't really come as a surprise, but knowing those that he terrorized are the same ones he now surrounds himself with is.
Fourth period is a bore and your deadpan answers keep everyone from asking more than their initial questions. But then your lunch period rolls around and you readily join the lunch line to start piling food on your tray. Once you've paid and are standing around to scan the room's occupants, you spot Nancy with her hand in the air and beckoning you over.
"So give it to me straight," you say as you set your tray down and pull out a chair to sit down, "is the chicken sandwich safe or am I sticking to the fruit cup?"
Nancy and Billy grin at you, but it's the other two boys who warily watch you.
"The chicken's fine," Billy says, "but if you want to pawn it off on someone, I'll take it."
"Hands off the goods, Hargrove. I'm starving."
Nancy giggles and as you assemble your sandwich you glance up just in time for her to introduce you to those sitting on either side of her. "This is Jonathan and Steve. Boys, this is Y/N."
"Alright. New girl!" Steve cheers. "So where do you come from?"
You quirk your right eyebrow at him, keeping quiet long enough just to see him squirm. At his first fidget you grin. "Virginia. Mystic Falls to be exact." You take a bite out of your chicken sandwich, eyes following Billy's hand and then narrowing as he snags a fry from your tray.
"Wow. Sounds fancy."
You shrug. "Mystic Falls is.. every rich person's dream. You have local parades and a pageant, and fancy parties where everyone has to wear a tux or a ball gown."
"And you traded all that for a little town that smells like cow shit?" Billy muses.
Nancy rolls her eyes. "Billy moved here about a year and a half ago from California. He still hates it here apparently."
"I'm just biding my time until I can go back to California," he says.
"California sounds nice." You crack open your can of Cola and take a sip. "All I've known is Mystic Falls and now this place."
"Do you plan on sticking around?" Jonathan then timidly asks.
You grin at him, shaking your head. "No offense, but Hawkins is a little slow for me. It's nice for now, but I need a place that'll be a tad bit more exciting."
"California is plenty exciting."
You glance at Billy and he smirks at you, stealing yet another one of your fries. "Settle down there, Hargrove," Steve huffs. "You just met the poor girl. Let her get to know you before you decide to whisk her away."
The table's occupants all chuckle and you focus on your food then. Billy has a terrible habit of stealing off your tray, but you draw the line when he tries to take your Cola. Slapping the back of his hand results in milk spewing from Steve's nose and you compromise with Billy by letting him have your fruit cup.
Towards the end of the lunch period, Steve steals your class schedule to look it over. He tells you that you have fifth period with him and Jonathan, sixth period you'll be on your own, and then your last class of the day is obviously shared with Billy.
In fifth, Steve and Jonathon get to witness why they'd been hearing all morning that the new girl was a bitch. Tommy is in your fifth period as well and he's apparently bolder without his girlfriend clinging to him. So after a bit of teasing and needling from Tommy, you verbally put him in his place just loud enough for those sitting closest to you can hear. Those around you snicker at Tommy's pouting and you glare at him until he gives up. Jonathan grins at you when you exhale finally under your breath and Steve offers you a fist bump.
Sixth period is an absolute bore and in seventh Billy threatens the kid next to him into offering you his seat. You shake your head at him, but take the seat nonetheless and then accept your notes that Billy had borrowed in your earlier class. And it's towards the end of class that you feel your phone vibrate in your back pocket. You take it out to read the text message from your mom and you sigh before responding.
"What's wrong?" Your annoyance has apparently caught Billy's attention.
"Mom's gonna be late so I gotta hang around for about an hour after school."
"I got a car. I can drive you." You glance up at him, but there's no grinning or chuckling. His offer is serious.
"Oh, uh, are you sure?" You ask. "It's across town in that Loch Nora neighborhood."
"Really? Steve actually lives around there. I drive out there every now and then."
"If you say so." Your attention is back on your phone as you text your mom back to not worry about picking you up- you have a ride.
As the final bell rings, you collect your things and follow after Billy. You manage to keep up with him, keeping your expression neutral but mentally smirking at the glares you're on the receiving end of. You make it out to the parking lot and your gaze darts all around the parked cars to try and figure out which is his. So when he walks up to a blue Chevrolet Camaro and perches himself on the hood, you grin and lovely caress the side of his car.
"Oh my god. I've been blessed with hot friends who own hot cars."
Apparently you've said that a little louder than you anticipated because Billy laughs as he turns around. "What?"
You nervously glance at him. "What?"
"Did you just call me hot?"
"Uhh.. I think I called your car hot."
"I think you called me and my car hot."
You try to play it off, but you suck at that so you just end up sighing. "Oh whatever. Don't act like you don't know you're hot. If looks could kill, I'd be dead just by all the glares I was getting on our way out here."
He laughs some more. "So who are these other hot friends of yours and what kind of cars do they own?"
"Damon and Stefan Salvatore," you say. "Damon owns a blue '69 Chevy Camaro and Stefan owns a red '63 Porsche."
He whistles appreciatively as he pulls a pack of cigarettes from his jacket pocket and quickly lights one up. "Rich friends, huh."
"Like I said earlier, Mystic Falls is every rich person's dream. Everyone who lives there has some sort of money."
"So where's your car?"
You shrug. "Why own a car when all I have to do is bat my pretty eyes and have someone offer to drive me around?" Taking a seat next to Billy, you bat your eyes at him and he snorts. As he sits there puffing on his cigarette, you take the time to watch the other students of Hawkins High milling about. When you see Nancy, Jonathan, and Steve exit the school, you can't help but nudge Billy. "So if I ask you something, will it stay between us?"
"Sure."
"What's up with those three?" You wonder, gesturing to the group in question as they head towards Steve's vehicle.
"Noticed that, did you?"
"Kinda hard to miss," you mutter. "The tension is thick."
A moment passes before Billy says, "I got here when Nancy and Steve were dating. It seemed like they had some trouble, and then a few weeks later Nancy was with Jonathan. Now it seems like all three of them have a thing going on, but they won't define it."
"Huh. Good for her," you muse.
You sit with Billy a little while longer, realizing he's only hanging back in order to wait for a middle-schooler when you see a younger redhead racing towards the car. She slows at the sight of you and you offer her a feeble grin.
"Y/N, Max. Max, Y/N. We're giving her a ride home."
The redhead shrugs and you can't help but say, "Sorry if you had plans."
"It's fine." Max readily walks towards the passenger seat and opens it, climbing into the backseat.
You look to Billy, apology etched into your features as he stomps out the reminder of his cigarette. "Don't worry about it. She's probably fighting with her boyfriend again."
You huff a small laugh. "Middle school romance. That was the worst."
Billy gestures for you to get into the car and you do so, climbing into the front passenger seat and offering Max another feeble grin before you buckle up.

When moving to Hawkins, the original plan was to keep your head down and get your last year of high school done and over with before living up the rest of your life. But four teenagers derailed those plans your first day of Hawkins High and you hadn't realized just how badly you craved human interaction until the five of you would laugh it up during your lunch period at school.
So while you were getting to know your friends, you were surprised to know that your assumption of Steve and Billy being part of the popular crowd was true. But for some unknown reason, they gave it up after months of fighting and ended up being friends. Nancy had only been popular for a couple of months because of her connection to Steve and Jonathan was one who kept to himself, often being picked on by Steve and Tommy and Carol. They had laughed at their past interactions, but then they seemed to sober up and you knew some sort of incident must have made them realize how immature they were being and instead brought them together rather than apart.
Steve was then the first one to actually get a tour of your house since he only lived down the street from you, followed by Nancy, Billy, and lastly Jonathan. All were impressed with the layout of your place and the fact that your parents left you to your devices while also still giving a shit about you. Nancy and Jonathan were the only ones with decent parental figures, but Johnathan's mom was overbearing and Nancy's parents only truly cared when the eyes of the town were on them. Steve mentioned his parents were away more often than not, and Billy's dad and step-mom were off limits.
Over your first few weeks with them, it was clear that you were part of the group. You always found yourself under the arm of Billy and/or Steve, but it was apparently widely known around school (even if your new friends refused to listen to the rumors) that Steve, Nancy, and Jonathan had some weird relationship going on. So that just left everyone wondering what was going on between you and Billy, but the two of you took everything in stride and just enjoyed being near one another and picking on your other friends.
Normally you enjoyed lounging by your pool (Billy seriously loved it too, but whether it was to soak up the sun or watch you in your bikini, you didn't know), but Nancy seemed to have a small fear of pools the moment the sun set and no one wanted to push her. So with your parents on their weekend getaway, you find yourself at Loch Nora's park and having a few beers with your friends after the sun has set.
You and Nancy are laying on the merry-go-round, heads next to one another as you stare up at the sky giggling. Jonathan slowly twirls the entire contraption for the two of you and Steve is laying upside down on the slide. Headlights pass over you, and Jonathan lets you all know it's just Billy when you and Nancy attempt to scramble up into a sitting position.
You crawl to the edge of the merry-go-round, letting one leg dangle towards the ground as you snap your teeth at Jonathan every time you pass him up. Nancy laughs as Jonathan shakes his head at your behavior, and then all too soon you stop spinning.
"How much have they had to drink?" Billy wonders just as you blow him a kiss.
"Only two and a half, I think," Jonathan says, chuckling. "Nancy's always been a lightweight. I'm still unsure about Y/N though."
"What about boy wonder over there?" Billy asks, gesturing to Steve.
"He ate half a special brownie and then Y/N told him that right now he is both the oldest he's ever been and the youngest he ever will be again. I think it messed him up."
You laugh. "He's fine. It'll either wear off soon or he'll fall asleep. Now," you hop off the merry-go-round, making your way towards the swings, "who's going to push me?"
As you take a seat on a swing, you gently push yourself back and forth. It doesn't take long for Billy to walk up to you, grinning as he catches the chains in his hands and towers over you. "How drunk are you right now?"
"Not even a little bit." You smile up at him. "Too many bad experiences back in Mystic Falls so I like to stay level headed while out in public." You can see he wants to ask what bad experiences you had, but he doesn't. Instead, he says, "So Nancy is drunker than usual then?"
"Nah. I was just spilling the beer when Jonny and Steve weren't paying attention. That's why Nancy's so giggly. She thinks it's hilarious." Billy slowly smirks at you. "Now come on. Give me a little push."
You happily dance in your seat as Billy walks around you, pulling you back by the chains of the swing you're on and then releasing you to swing forward. You laugh as he pushes you a little harder each time, but then drag your feet along the sand to keep from going too high.
"Okay. Okay stop," you laugh. "I forgot I don't like heights." Billy laughs then, but he catches the chains in his hand to stop you and keep you close. Glancing upward, you tilt your head as far back as you can so you can see him and the sight of him smirking seems to take your breath away. There was no denying that Billy Hargrove was attractive or that there was something between the two of you, and something about tonight just felt right to finally address it. He shakes his head at you in amusement and your smile widens when you see his gaze dart to your mouth. "What's it gonna be, Hargrove? You finally gonna make a move or what?"
He seems to tense at your words, gaze searching your own for some sort of clarity. But seeing as you're looking at him upside down, you're a bit discombobulated and end up giggling at his curious expression. And then it seems Fate is not quite yet on your side because when Billy decides to finally lean down, a heart stopping animalistic screech fills the air.
Billy freezes and then he's standing tall once more, head whipping this way and that way.
"Did you guys fuckin' hear that?!" Steve yelps.
By the time you set yourself right and stand up, Billy's grabbing your hand and dragging you towards Nancy, Jonathan, and Steve who've all huddled together. There's another screech, closer, and on the opposite side from where you heard it first.
"What the fuck is that?" You mumble. With everything you've been through in Mystic Falls, you know well enough to keep your voice low and remain as level headed as possible.
"Uhh, nothing. Rabid dog probably," Steve says.
"If that was a rabid dog then why the fuck do you look like you've seen a ghost, Harrington?!"
"Shh!" Nancy hisses. "It's hunting us."
"Are you fucking kidding me?" It's hunting us rings through your head and instead of a normal reaction, you're done. You're just so done. "Are you telling me I moved from one monster infested town to another monster infested town?" You scoff. "What the fuck!?"
Steve looks at you in wonder. "You guys got demo-dogs too?"
"What the fuck is a demo-dog?"
"That! That's a demo-dog," Jonathan says. "Run! Run to the cars!"
"Fuck this." Billy grabs your hand tighter and takes off into a full blown sprint.
You manage to keep up with him and take a look over your shoulder as you're running, only for your heart to stop at the sight of what looks like a hairless dog with a blossomed flower for its head and hundreds of razor sharp teeth as it screeches again.
"Jesus fucking Christ! I did not survive the Mikaelson family just to be taken out by a carnivorous flower!"
You make it to Billy's Camaro, hands fumbling with the door handle as you hurry to get inside. That split second of error, however, costs you and you scream out as those hundreds of razor sharp teeth sink into the back of your thigh.
"Y/N!"
This creature is nothing like you've ever seen or been up against. It's insanely fast and aggressive, and your heart pumps furiously as you attempt to get away. But as you turn around, the creature's teeth rip apart the back of your thigh and then it drags you down without much effort.
"Get the fuck off of her!" You manage to shield your face with your arms, the creature's claws ripping into them just as Billy rushes up and kicks the creature as hard as he can in the side of it's head. The creature screeches at him and tries to lunge, but then Steve is there with a gnarly bat that has several nails poking out of it and hits the creature with it over and over. "Come on. Get up!" Billy yells. "You need to move!"
You scramble up to your feet, whimpering through the pain and throwing yourself into Billy's car after he's opened the door. Steve continues to whale on the creature and you watch on with terrified eyes through the window. You barely even flinch as Billy throws himself into the driver's seat, the engine roaring to life right before he peels out of the park.
"What- what the hell was that?" You eventually mumble.
"That was a demo-dog. The child version of a demogorgan."
"A demo what?"
Billy glances between you and the street to make sure he's not swerving. "Demo-dog."
"Oh." Your mind is going a mile a minute, and not knowing what else to focus on you glance down. "Oh no. I'm getting blood all over your car!"
"Screw my car," Billy retorts. "You need to stop the bleeding!"
"It's not that bad," you mumble. "I just- I need to get home. Just get me home."
"What you need is a hospital."
"No!" Your head whips in his direction. "They'll ask questions. Just.. trust me. Get me home. I can fix this."
Billy glances between you and the street, disbelief etched into every feature. A moment passes and then it's like a light bulb goes off over his head as his expression somewhat softens. "One monster infested town to another," he remembers you saying earlier. "That's why you're not freaking out and why you don't want the hospital employees asking questions."
You force a smile. "I'm a pro when it comes to keeping the secret of monsters. You tell me yours and I'll tell you mine."
"Not my story to tell," Billy admits. "But they'll fill you in."
"Oh good."
All too soon you're back at your house with Steve practically taking out your mailbox as he skids to a stop atop the curb. You whimper some more as you get out of Billy's car, limping your way towards the front door before Billy walks up behind you and slips your arm around his neck so he can carry most of your weight.
"Shouldn't we be at the hospital?" Nancy suddenly asks, worriedly glancing all around before you're all rushing inside your house. "The back of your thigh is shredded."
You wave her off. "I can fix it. Get me to my room."
"Did you guys take care of it?" Billy then asks.
"Yep. Bashed it's head in pretty good before Jonathan set it on fire. Hopper's on his way out there right now to dispose of it before anyone sees it."
"Um, guys?" Jonathan hesitantly mumbles. "Are we not going to talk about the fact that Y/N isn't screaming her head off after all that?"
"Relax, Jonny," you muse. "Tonight's not the first time I've been attacked by a monster, but you guys are totally explaining first." Finally reaching your room, you push off of Billy and head towards the small refrigerator that sits snug under your bedside table. Opening it up, you reach towards the very back and pull out a cup, grabbing up one of the vials within. Uncorking it, you grimace at the thick red liquid inside before turning around to salute your friends and then downing it. You grimace. "Gross. So gross."
"What the hell did you just take?" Billy asks.
"Nope." You shake your head, stepping back from him when he reaches for the vial in your hand. "Not yet." You meet each and every one of their gazes. "Now someone tell me what the hell kind of town I'm living in."
Jonathan and Nancy look at one another, but Nancy tells Jonathan to go ahead since it was his little brother who had been involved first. So Jonathan tells you and as the minutes pass, your eyes get wider and wider.
Knowing that the laboratory in Hawkins was secretly running experiments on pregnant women and their children immediately left a bad taste in your mouth, but then finding out that these children who developed special powers were ripped from their mothers left you heartbroken. And then on top of all that, finding out another dimension existed and that these creatures were still seeping through after having killed the main one left you feeling anxious.
"But it's nothing to worry about. Not really," Steve assures you. "That was the first demo-dog we've seen in months."
"The main gate where they first came through is closed, but there is one somewhere out there that we can't find and these demo-dogs are slipping through," Nancy says.
"That's.. insane."
"Alright enough about Hawkins," Billy says. "Your turn. And get your ass in the bathroom. Your wounds still need to be tended to."
"I'm fine," you tell him.
"You are not fine! That thing ripped into-"
You flash the group your bloodied forearms, raising your eyebrows at them. "Like I said. I'm fine."
"But- but how?" Nancy asks in awe. "We saw that thing claw your arms!"
You wiggle the vial in their direction. "Vampire blood."
"Vampires are real?!" Steve yelps.
Billy huffs. "Bullshit."
Jonathan grimaces. "You drank blood?"
"I'm serious," you say. "I only found out a few years ago, but in that time two of my friends were killed and turned, another friend found out she was a witch, another found out he was a werewolf, and I've been kidnapped too many times to count." Your friends are speechless and you huff a laugh as you shake your head. "It's why we moved here. About three weeks before the move, I was taken while I was out having dinner with my parents. They were taken too, two people who had no idea monsters existed, and they were forced to watch as I was strung up and slowly bled to death."
"Dude, what the hell," Steve says.
"My friends found me right in time, but it took both Stefan and Caroline to feed me their blood in order for me to survive. And then I basically lived in a bubble for about a week and a half because had I died with vampire blood in my system, then I'd have woken up in transition to becoming a vampire myself. So when I was good to leave, I asked Damon to compel my parents to forget everything they'd seen and to suddenly want to move. And here we are."
"One monster infested town to another," Billy says.
"Yep." Still no one has anything else to say as your words sink in. "So while you guys mentally freak out and come to terms with that, I'm just going to shower and get out of these bloodied clothes."
You trash the vial and go about collecting clothes from your drawers. You're utterly exhausted, but you want to wash off all the blood and trash your ruined clothes so your parents don't find them later on. You grin as your friends have all taken a seat around your room, deep in thought, and then head out into the hallway to get to the bathroom.
Your shower doesn't last long since you know you have guests over, so you find yourself drying off and redressing about ten minutes after having stepped under the hot spray of water.
As you open the door to step out into the hallway, you nearly squeak as you find Billy standing against the wall across from you. Without a word he pushes off the wall and grabs your arms, checking them over and marveling at their wound-free state. "How does the back of your thigh feel?"
"Fine." He goes to turn you around, but you chuckle and swat his hands away. "It's fine. I'm all healed up, Hargrove. You're not using this as an opportunity to check out my ass in these small shorts."
For a moment you think you crossed a line after the evening you all had, but then Billy slowly smirks. "Well that wasn't the plan, but now that it's in my head.."
"God you're annoying." You grin as you lightly shove him away, but his hand wraps around your wrist as his smile falls and then it's his turn to be gentle as he pulls you in to wrap his arms around you.
You go willingly, wrapping your arms around his waist and resting the side of your face against his chest as his chin sits atop your head. "So vampires, huh?"
You laugh. "We live in a crazy, crazy world and unfortunately alternate dimensions and little kids with mind powers is just the tip of the iceberg."
"Want us to stay over?"
"Yep. And then after I've come to terms with the craziness that is Hawkins, you and I are going to revisit that little moment right before the demon dog interrupted us."
Billy chuckles. "I'm looking forward to it, sweetheart."
"Aww, you guys," Steve suddenly coos from your opened bedroom door. "Look at Billy being all mature and caring for someone other than his car."
"Fuck off, Harrington," Billy says at the same time you flip him off.
Steve laughs. "I totally called this, just so you know. Jonathan was skeptical, but you two just ooze sexual chemistry."
Your nose wrinkles as you lift your head to stare at Steve. "First off, never say ooze again."
"And secondly, get your ass back in the room, Harrington! We're talking here." Billy tells him.
Steve's hands go up in mock surrender as he walks backwards back into your room, and you sigh while resting against Billy once more. "Maybe I should send them home so just you and I can hang out."
"Now that sounds like a better idea."

Since you had been attacked by a demo-dog and given a rundown of all that had been going on, you got to meet the other children and adults who had been involved. And in return, you told them all you knew about the supernatural community. The kids had hung off your every word and it was the adults who were skeptical about all you had to say. However, Eleven had the ability to see one's memories after concentrating and you allowed her after warning her that your memories of vampires weren't so pretty.
You hadn't seen a werewolf with your own eyes, but you did see what a werewolf bite would do to a vampire. Another memory that floated to the forefront of your mind was of Bonnie first showing you her magic by floating feathers and lighting candles. And when it came to the vampires, there was a lot of out of control blood lust from Caroline and Elena, and a lot of neck snapping and ripping out of hearts from Damon. The memory that shook Eleven, however, was of your last kidnapping and the numerous shallow cuts you endured which led you to slowly bleeding out. She had ripped the bandanna from her eyes and your eyes fluttered open when you felt small fingers tracing your arms. She was in awe that you bore no scars from the incident.
"The healing abilities of vampire blood," you had told her. "It's gross, but it gets the job done."
After that night of the attack and speaking with everyone close to the monster problem, things then went back to normal as they could be. In fact, with you now in the know, it brought your small group of friends even closer which pissed off the female population of Hawkins High since Billy's attention was solely on you the second you were within his sight. And to be honest, you kind of really liked his attention.
It's one of the rare evenings that you and Billy are left alone to your own devices, so Billy makes the most of it by taking you out to eat. You end up at a diner eating burgers, stealing each other's fries and dunking the fries into milkshakes. There's just an air of comfortability being with him, even when he's glaring or giving extreme attitude to someone he doesn't see eye to eye with.
Once you're done there in the diner, the two of you head out to walk around a bit before driving off somewhere. His arm is around your shoulders and your arm is around the back of his waist.
"Have you heard anything from the three musketeers?" Billy asks.
"Nah. I put my phone on silent the second we sat down in that diner."
"Ooh. Don't I feel special." You glance up at Billy, laughing at his teasing smirk. Your eyes briefly fall close as you let him lead you, but then they fly open when he asks, "Why is this dude creepily staring at you?"
When your eyes open, your gaze takes a moment to focus and you spot none other than Damon Salvatore leaning against the side of his car not even twenty yards ahead of you. "Damon?" Billy tenses next to you, but you immediately squeeze his hip to let him know all is good.
Damon mockingly wiggles his fingers in a wave at you, but his grin doesn't quite meet his eyes. "You're a hard girl to track down, Y/N."
"Kind of just wanted the night off, Day. What's going on?"
"Jeremy's dead."
Your small smile instantly drops as you come to a stop not far from him. "What? No." You shake your head at him in denial. "No he's not."
"I'm sorry, Y/N. And I'm sorry to drag you back into this, but you're the only one who can get through to Elena right now since Matt's MIA." He digs his hand into his pocket, pulling free a very familiar black stone ring. The Gilbert family ring to be exact.
Your arm drops from Billy's waist, only to grab onto his hand as you drag him a step back further away from Damon. "No. No, I'm out. I left that all behind me, Damon! You can't-"
"Elena's turned her humanity off and we need a way to get her to turn it back on."
"Then snap her neck until she complies!" You start to cry, heart pumping furiously in fear for both yourself and Billy. When it comes to Elena, there's nothing Damon won't do. And recently, whenever you were upset or felt cornered, Billy was there to back you up. But you do not want Billy puffing up his chest against someone like Damon.
"You know it doesn't work like that. It's gonna take something emotionally traumatic to happen for that flip to switch back on and who better to do that other than the human girl Elena grew up down the road from?"
Tears fall faster. "No. Please don't."
Finally unable to keep quiet, Billy attempts to tug you somewhat behind him in an attempt to shield you. "What the hell is going on, man? Can't you see you're freaking her out."
Damon boredly glances at Billy and you sharply inhale when his attention is now focused on him instead. "Get out of the way before I eat you for dinner. This is between Y/N and I."
Billy tenses and this time it's your turn to tug Billy just behind your shoulder. "Don't."
Damon's annoyed expression latches back onto you, softening just a bit. "I really am sorry." He reaches forward with lightning fast reflexes and rips your necklace from your neck. You yelp at the sudden movement, stumbling back as Billy shouts at Damon and attempts to lunge at him. But you throw your arm out, staring up at Damon with a betrayed expression. "Don't make me compel you, Y/N. Just come with me. Both of you," he says. "And if you fight me on this or attempt to get help, just know that this wasn't the only visit I made in Hawkins."
Billy is absolutely livid, breathing harshly while trying not to make a scene, and the blood in your veins runs cold. "W-What?" You stare at Damon. "What did you do?"
"I needed to make sure you followed," he says. "So I nabbed the few people you've surrounded yourself with. They're waiting for us."
"No," you whine. "Goddammit, Damon!"
"What? What did he do?" Billy seethes.
"I think I just found out why Nancy, Jonathan, and Steve haven't bothered us."
"And some nice folks by the name of Jim and Joyce."
Billy's gaze instantly snaps towards Damon. "You motherfucker! What did you do to them?!"
"Nothing. For now." He shrugs. "But if you refuse to come with me, then you're gonna have scattered body parts all around this town."
"Damon," you plead, "stop. Just please stop. These people have nothing to do with this. Just- just take me, okay? Let them go."
"Y/N!" Billy whirls around on you. "Don't even think about it."
"Why?" You cry. "I've told you all about my past, Billy. You know what Damon's capable of."
"Ahh. So you did tell them about us," Damon muses. "I was wondering why your little friends weren't peeing their pants when the fangs came out."
"Why were your fangs out?"
Damon grins. "I needed them to comply. They did. And now I need you on board as well. If we're gonna sell this and get Elena's humanity back on, I need real emotions from you. From all of you," he says while meeting Billy's still livid glare. "So for that, none of you can know the plan. You're just gonna have to play it by ear."
"Well with that ring I already have an inkling of what's going to happen," you mumble. Holding out your hand, you wait for Damon to hand over the clunky ring and then slip it on your finger. "Let's just get this over with."
Billy is fuming as you tug him towards Damon's car, absolutely dejected. You open the passenger door, but before you climb in you turn around to embrace him. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry," you tell him. "I didn't want to involve you with people from my past for this exact reason."
Billy hesitantly returns the embrace, eyes burning a hole in the side of Damon's face. "What are we walking into here, Y/N?"
"Honestly? I have no idea. Elena's one of my good friends, but since her humanity is off she's going to be a whole different person. You can't react to whatever she says."
"Is it going to be bad?"
You gulp. "On a scale of one to ten, expect an eleven."
"Shit."
"Alright, lovebirds, get in the car," Damon says. "Our friends are waiting."
You attempt to climb into the backseat, but Billy holds you close and instead pulls you down onto his lap after he slides into the passenger seat. Damon chuckles, but you quickly shut him down. "Shut up and drive, Salvatore. I'm already over tonight."

Damon drives for about ten minutes before pulling off to the side of the road and then gestures for you and Billy to follow him. But you and Billy glance at the darkened woods, obviously hesitating even though many lives are apparently on the line.
"Come on. Let's go," Damon tells you, annoyed with your lack of following. "I'm the scariest thing in the woods right now. You have nothing to worry about."
You and Billy both tense and glance at one another, smirking simultaneously. "That's what you think," you mumble. Damon looks at you, his gaze questioning. You shrug. "Just think werewolf, only hairless, faster, and a face that opens up to show hundreds of really sharp teeth."
"Don't forget that they come from a different dimension," Billy tacks on.
Damon's grinning, waiting for you to tell him you're only joking. When you don't, his grin falters. "You're serious."
"Dead serious. One attacked me a couple weeks back and let me tell you it's not fun."
Damon glances around warily now, but he shrugs it off after a moment. "Whatever. Come on. We'll be in and out if you hurry it up. And remember, play along."
The reality of your situation sinks in again and your heart aches as fear sinks in once more. You glance up at Billy, only to find him already staring down at you. "We're going to be okay."
"You don't know them like I do." You frown.
"Yeah, but they're still your friends. That's got to count for something."
When you don't answer, Billy grabs your hand and tries to offer you some semblance of comfort. Unfortunately, it doesn't work.
After a moment, the two of you follow behind Damon and it's not long until you get to a clearing that's been lit up by several vehicles with their headlights turned on. Your attention is immediately on Joyce, Hopper, Steve, Nancy, and Jonathan who are all on their knees in front of the headlights, wrists zip tied together in front of them. They sit up a little straighter when they see you, but you quickly shake your head at them.
Stefan is off to the side, towering over Elena who's boredly sitting at the base of a tree, and his eyes widen when he sees you. "What the hell, Damon?" He says. "Y/N wasn't part of the plan."
"Plan's changed, baby brother." And before anyone can react, Damon rips you away from Billy and shoves Billy far back when he tries to intervene.
"Don't!" You yell, placing yourself between the two of them. Your eyes plead with Billy to just go with whatever dumbass idea Damon's concocted. Every Hawkins resident Damon had rounded up shout at Billy when it appears he's still ready to lunge at Damon, and he only falters when he sees your expression. I'm okay you mouth at him to remind him this needed to happen- whatever it may be.
Billy holds your stare for a little longer before giving you a subtle nod and then a hand's gripping the back of your neck, dragging you to stand in front of Elena as you struggle to break free.
"Oh goody. You brought a snack," Elena muses, standing up. Stefan grabs her by the shoulder, however, and quickly shoves her back against the tree. "What?" She feigns innocence. "You lined up all these humans. What are you going to do with them if not eat them, starting with the ever so precious Y/N?"
"Elena, please," you mumble, hands scratching at Damon's that's still gripping the back of your neck. "I am so sorry for what happened to Jeremy, but these people are innocent. They have nothing to do with whatever's going on back in Mystic Falls." She blinks blankly at you and Damon squeezes your neck, just enough to make you wince. "Just turn it back on, 'Lena. Come back to us."
She pouts, cooing softly before looking at Stefan. "Boring," she then drawls. "Can we go back home now? At least Caroline and Bonnie really tried."
"You know what, that's enough. You're acting like a spoiled brat," Damon says. "You think that we can't punish you? Maybe not. But I can sure punish her." He throttles you a little and you immediately start to cry. You have a good feeling of where this is going, especially after Damon gave you the Gilbert family ring, and you're absolutely terrified.
"Elena.." You whine.
"Seriously?" She huffs, grinning cruelly. "You want me to believe you're going to kill the only other girl you've ever loved other than Katherine and myself? As if." Being reminded of Damon's affections makes you mentally cringe. That was something you didn't want brought up, especially in front of the new guy you were somewhat seeing.
"Shut up!" Damon angrily shouts at her. "I'm done playing nice. Turn your emotions back on right now, Elena, or so help me God I will give you something to be sad about. I will kill Y/N right here in front of you and in front of all these people she's come to care for."
"No!" You cry, struggling harder. In doing so, however, it riles up your Hawkins family. Billy really lunges this time, only to be backhanded by Damon and is sent sprawling in front of the others. Immediately Steve tries to cool him off by muttering words in his ear.
Your heart is thumping erratically and your gaze jumps between Elena and Stefan, looking for some sort of relief. However there is none as Elena still looks bored and Stefan is still holding back to see where this goes. Anything for Elena, you sadly remind yourself. She had the brothers wrapped around her finger no matter what.
Seeing your distress, Stefan finally cracks. "Damon.." He warns his brother.
"Elena, please," you cry. "I don't wanna die. I'm happy here. Really happy here," you tell her. "Just- just turn your humanity back on."
"Just turn your humanity back on," she mocks you.
"Alright, stop." Damon shoves you to your knees, glaring at Elena. "You don't love anyone? Fine. Prove it." The tears come faster and you sob harder. From behind you, Jim Hopper and Joyce Byers try to reason with Damon and assure him there's another way. Still, Elena watches on without a care in the world. "And if I'm wrong, what difference is it going to make? No one's going to miss Y/N after we compel everyone she loves that she never existed."
"Stop! Please stop. Don't do this," you hear Nancy yell.
"Elena.." you try once more.
Her gaze slides from your friends, to you, and lastly to Damon. For a moment you see the hesitance in her eyes, but then it's gone within a blink. "You're bluffing."
SNAP!
Elena lunges forward with a shocked gasp as everyone else, sans Damon and Stefan, wail out in horror. Nancy and Joyce are crying and screaming, Jim and Steve and Jonathan are struggling to get to their feet, and Billy yells before scrambling back up and lunging for Damon. Before he can get to him, however, he's intercepted by Stefan.
"Hey. Hey, she's okay," he murmurs quickly. "I promise you she'll live." He hands a newly stilled Billy a knife. "Now go cut free your friends and listen. She isn't going to stay dead."
With red rimmed eyes, Billy reigns in his anger and does as he's told. However, he quickly cuts free Jonathan and quietly tells him to free the others. Then walking back towards Y/N's body, he watches as the Elena chick stares down at her friend with tears filling her eyes.
"How about now?" Damon asks her. "You feel anything now? Are you angry that I just turned your friend into road kill? Or are you sad that the girl everybody loved is just a bag of bones?" Elena tries to blink away her tears, but Damon continues on. "Remember when she was just a little girl. Huh? Warm heart, goofy giggle, her whole life ahead of her." Elena shakes her head in denial and Damon crouches down, grabbing Y/N's wrist and showing Elena her lifeless hand. "I guess it was a good idea she was wearing this then."
Elena cries out in relief, collapsing to her knees and grasping Y/N's hand where she can see the Gilbert family ring residing. She cradles Y/N's hand, crying earnestly now. "Oh my god. Y/N." She looks up then and watches as Y/N's new friends circle around. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry."
No one says anything as Elena has her moment grieving or whatever it is she's doing, but all eyes do eventually land on Billy who looks like he's barely hanging on by a thread. And after a few more minutes, Stefan walks up behind Elena and lays a hand on her shoulder.
"Hey, come on. We need to get Y/N back home."
Elena nods and makes to stand as Damon walks forward to pick Y/N's body up, but Billy stalks forward and shoulders Damon out of the way. Damon hisses at his back, but leaves him be when he sees Billy's just picking up Y/N himself. When Damon then turns around he's met with a wall of grieving, pissed off humans staring him down.
Tumblr media
When the darkness finally recedes, your eyes flutter open and you find yourself staring up at the ceiling of your living room. For a moment you just lay there until the quiet murmurings in the other room prompt you to sit up, but in doing so the pain in your neck makes itself known and you groan out.
The talking ceases and soon enough there's a crowd of people around you.
"Hey. You're okay." Billy crouches before you, cradling your face in the palms of his hands. Your nose wrinkles as you breathe through the pain, gaze then focusing a moment later. "You're okay." And without warning, his lips press against yours.
The kiss catches you off guard and it takes a second for your brain to reboot, so when it does you don't waste another second not reciprocating. It's kept very chaste and very brief, and you can't help but mutter, "So it took watching me being murdered for you to finally make a move, huh? I guess I should be lucky I'm friends with a total dickhead."
"Hey!"
You slowly pull back from Billy, bypassing the totally astonished expressions of those you've come to meet in Hawkins and meet Damon's pouting expression. "You snapped my neck. You're lucky I'm not staking you right now."
His lips purse before he rolls his eyes. "That's fair."
Billy helps you stand up then, and as soon as he's sure you're okay on your own two feet Nancy is squeezing between the two of you and hugging the life out of you. You chuckle as you return her embrace. "I'm okay. I'm going to be fine."
"B-But we heard your neck snap. We watched you fall," she sniffles. "How the hell do you survive something like that?"
"That's exactly what I'd like to know as well." You glance over at Jim Hopper, smiling fondly at him. As soon as Nancy releases you, your other friends take their turns hugging you, followed by Joyce and lastly Jim. "You're not a vampire now too, are you?"
"Nah." You lift your hand, glancing down at the Gilbert ring before pulling it off your finger. "Resurrection ring, actually. And totally not safe." You turn around and hurl it at Damon. "You know better than to be messing with that ring after what happened to Ric."
He shrugs. "We were desperate."
"And that mindset is exactly why I moved out of Mystic Falls." You shake your head in disappointment at Damon, gaze then sliding to Stefan and Elena behind him. "I love you guys. You know that. But this is exactly the reason why I left Mystic Falls behind."
"I am so sorry," Elena blurts. "I didn't know- I didn't think that was something Damon would ever do and-"
You shrug off the rest of her words. "Whatever. It's over and done with now." Then looking towards Stefan, you ask, "Where are my parents?"
"They, um, after they invited us in I went ahead and compelled them to visit some family for the weekend."
"Are they safe?"
"Yeah."
"Okay then."
There's a moment of awkward silence as your old group of friends stare at your new group of friends, and eventually Stefan breaks it. "So I don't want to cause any more tension, but I think we need to address the fact that multiple humans now know of our existence."
Damon, however, takes over this explaining why. "No worries, baby bro. Apparently boring 'ol Hawkins has monsters of their own."
Elena and Stefan glance at you with worry, but you wave them off. "Don't even worry about it. It's no vampires, werewolves, or even witches."
"No, it's just canine-esque and humanoid monsters from an alternate dimension leaking through a portal somewhere," Steve mumbles.
But being vampires, Elena and Stefan overhear him perfectly. "It's fine," you assure them again, sighing. "Seriously, these people have it under control and they're good at keeping secrets. You don't have to worry about them."
"Okay." Stefan nods at you. "We, um, we should get going then if all is good here. Mystic Falls needs us."
"Of course."
"If there's anything you need, just let us know."
"Vervain," you immediately blurt. "I don't want a repeat of tonight and speaking of," you glance at Damon, "I'd like my necklace back now."
"Damon!" Elena scolds him just as he sheepishly smirks and digs your necklace out of his pocket before tossing it at you.
"We can ship you vervain," Stefan agrees. "Tea bags?"
"That'll be perfect," you say. "I have a feeling the boys are going to be picky about any form of jewelry."
Stefan, Elena, and Damon don't have much else to say and decide they've overstayed their welcome. But just as Damon is about to pass you up, he stops and places his hand on your right hip and leans in so his mouth is near your left ear. "I really am sorry." And then he presses a kiss to your temple before he's out the door within the blink of an eye.
Your eyes tear up at the loving gesture, but you put a lid on your emotions and will the tears away. And once you've got yourself under control, you turn around to meet the surprised gazes of your friends and Billy's put out expression at Damon's gesture.
"So were you and the murderous vampire like a thing or something?" Steve muses. Nancy and Joyce slightly gasp at his audacity, and Jonathan flicks his friend's ear.
You roll your eyes at him, grinning softly. "No. He's obviously attractive, but him being a vampire was a no-go for me. Why date someone who I wouldn't have a future with unless I became a vampire as well?"
"Mhm. So what's this vervain stuff you asked for?" Jim asks.
"It's a plant that protects you from a vampire's compulsion. My necklace," you lift it up in your hand, showing him, "is infused with vervain so vampires can't compel me to do anything. But as Billy witnessed earlier, it can easily be ripped off."
"So tea bags then?" Joyce wonders. "You're going to drink it?"
"We're going to drink it. Because if a vampire tries to compel you they won't be able to, and if they bite you your blood will burn their throat and they won't want to eat you."
"Hell yes. Give me all the tea," Steve then says.
For a moment everyone is just standing around, and you and Billy can't keep your gazes from one another. The others eventually notice it and decide to leave you alone, Nancy and Jonathan having to drag Steve away when he doesn't get the hint.
Afterwards, you glance at Billy only to find him already staring at you.
"Look, uh, if this is too much for you I'll understand," you say. "Knowing about and then having to deal with vampires are two completely different things, and-"
"Hey. Hey, no." Billy interrupts you. He steps up to you, grabbing your hands within his own. "I'm not gonna lie and say these last few hours haven't been insane, but it hasn't changed my mind about you. About us."
You exhale softly in relief. "So my past hasn't scared you off yet?"
He slowly smirks. "Not even close. If I can deal with demogorgons and demo-dogs, I think I can deal with a vampire throwing a hissy fit."
Stepping even closer, you go up on your tippy-toes so your lips brush his. "You say that now, but just you wait until a Mikaelson gets curious and comes to find me."
"Who or what is a Mikaelson?" He mumbles.
"They're the original family of vampires," you say. You quickly peck his lips before falling flat on your feet and whirling around. "And did I mention the most volatile of the bunch is half vampire and half werewolf? And that he might have a crush on me also?"
"What?" You laugh at Billy. "You're joking, right?"
"Oh babe." You glance over your shoulder, grinning. "Not even a little."

Hocus Pocus - Sukuna
Tumblr media
Boil toil and trouble, let's make this cauldron bubble lol gender neutral reader no content warnings! This is a...I guess medieval sort of au lol Sukuna is a knight and there’s kings and queens and blah blah
“(Y/N)!” Shrill voices rang throughout the empty stone walls, the pattering of little feet causing you to break your concentration from the glass vase you were holding over a smoking cauldron. Turning to the heavy wooden doors as they were thrown open, you held the vase in the air as two children scampered into the room and began to tug on your clothes.
“What do I owe the pleasure of this visit?” Laughing breathlessly, you looked down at the royal children that had decided to come spend time with you.
“We want to play!”
“Right now?” Taking a sweeping look over your messy workshop, you felt them begin to try and pull you from the room. “Alright, alright! Just a moment.” There was no stopping the children when they wanted something, especially from you.
Closing your spell books and setting down bubbling beakers, you pushed the kids out of the room, closing the door tightly behind you. Letting them guide you towards their playroom, you took a deep breath, pushing down the slight irritation growing from being pulled away from your work. There’s no way the King and Queen would appreciate you losing your temper or simply saying ‘no’, even if you did have studying to do to become a proper witch and not a simple apprentice.
Walking through the halls of the castle, you shared pleasant smiles with the more senior witches talking amongst themselves. Their robes were the rich and vibrant colors of the kingdom, a stark contrast to your plain black robe and a strong reminder of how far you still needed to go.
Coming upon the playroom, you winced as they threw open the door and made the metal knob bang against the stone wall and shocking the other occupant in the room.
“Sukuna! Sukuna! We got (Y/N) to play too!” They yelled, finally letting go of your robes as they ran to the intrepid knight who looked ridiculously out of place sitting on a tiny chair surrounded by stuffed animals in the light pastel room. He turned to you and you had to bite your lip to keep from laughing at how annoyed he seemed with the whole thing. He was still in his armor, so you figured the children had pulled him away in the middle of his business as well.
“Oh how fun.” Sukuna said, clearly less than enthused about this whole thing. His pink hair was sticking out in all sorts of directions and he ran his hand through it once more, the clinking of his cold and shiny armor differing greatly with the softness that filled the room.
The children paid him no mind, rushing further into the room and grabbing toys and throwing them into the middle of the room. Talking animatedly amongst themselves, you used the opportunity to slowly walk over to Sukuna.
“So, what were you doing when they got you?” You whispered, taking a seat next to him in another tiny chair.
“Fucking training.” Nudging the sword at his side, Sukuna let out a gruff sound. “As you know, a war might be brewing in the East and-”
“There’s always a war brewing.”
“Exactly!” Throwing his hands in the air, Sukuna missed the way you chuckled softly. “I don’t have time to entertain these brats, I don’t even know why they had me join!”
“I don’t understand how your fellow knights let you get away from them.” Sukuna was one of the castle's best knights after all, having been praised countless times by the King himself and bestowed with many medals and honors.
“They thought it was a joke! Thought it was funny to see the brats pulling me away and I couldn’t say anything.” He scoffed with a roll of his eyes.
“Well, it is a little funny to think about. The Great Sukuna defeated and captured by two eight year olds.”
He rolled his eyes, but you could see the small upward curve of his lips even though he tried to hide it. You were pleased to notice him relaxing a bit, willing to converse with you as the kids ran around, completely forgetting the two of you were even there. Sukuna was usually so stiff around you, talking in short sentences and barely looking in your direction; always preoccupied with the thought of battle.
“(Y/N)! Caspian won’t let me play with this thing!”
“I had it first!” You turned to see them fighting over one of the vials from your room, recklessly pulling it back and forth and nudging the cork out of place. The shimmering purple liquid sloshed inside, threatening to drip out of the glass and splash all over the two of them. Jumping up, you ran over to the kids before they could open the bottle by mistake and cause a disaster.
“Caspian! Give that to me now!” You yelled after pulling them away from each other. The boy shook his head, holding it away from you. You groaned, taking a deep breath before kneeling to him, holding your hand out. “Caspain, please, it’s very important that I get that back.”
“Kid, just hand it over.” No longer having the patience to deal with this, Sukuna got up from his seat, taking long strides over to you. He grabbed the boy’s wrist as gently as he knew how, attempting to yank the vial out of his hand, but Caspain tightened his grip.
“No, it’s mine!” A small struggle ensued between the two with Caspian pushing and squirming to try and get away and Sukuna attempting to be as merciful as possible to try and get the vial.
“It’s not yours and you know it. Return it.” Sukuna was growing more annoyed by the second. He could easily overpower this kid and end this silly squabble but if he was too rough there were sure to be consequences.
“Be careful, don’t spill it!” Standing off to the side, your eyes were focused on the vial, anxiety rising every time it was yanked from one side to the other. Your cries went ignored, drowned out by them shouting at one another.
“Here!” Pulling the cork out, Caspian hurled the vial right at Sukuna’s face, coating him in the liquid. The glass clattered to the ground, quickly getting crushed into tiny shards as Sukuna stumbled in shock.
“What the-” Wiping furiously at his face, Sukuna could hardly open his eyes. The liquid evaporated on his skin, leaving behind a tingling burn.
“Caspian!” You exclaimed, glaring at the boy and running to Sukuna. The pungent odor of the potion burned your nostrils and forced tears to well in your eyes.
“What is this stuff?” Biting back the swear that desperately wanted to come out, Sukuna looked blindly around the room.
“It’s- well-”
“Out with it!” Sukuna barked, shoving you away. He felt like he was going to vomit, head swimming as he fell to his knees.
“Sukuna has kitty ears!” Caspian’s sister, Caroline, shouted in surprise.
“No I don’t!”
“Yes you do!” She pushed but it went unheard, overshadowed by the pained scream that ripped out of Sukuna’s chest. Writhing on the ground for what felt like ages, the pain slowly subsided and he was left breathing raggedly.
“Hello?” Opening his eyes, Sukuna was shrouded in darkness. Fabric covered his face and body; they were his clothes, he could smell that much, but he had no idea where he was.
“Sukuna? Are you okay?” Tiptoeing over to him, you nudged the armor now sitting on the ground in the shape of what used to be Sukuna’s body. Tiny claws tapped against the metal and a pink haired cat's head popped out of the top opening.
“(Y/N)?”
“Oh my god.” You placed a hand against your chest in shock, watching in horror as Sukuna wrestled himself out of his armor, angrily cursing his new height without really looking at himself.
“Kitty!” Caroline yelled, immediately crowding him and trying to pick him up. Keeping her at arm's length, you scooped up Sukuna’s new cat form into your arms and held him tightly to you.
“Kitty?!” Sukuna yelled, looking down at his body being cradled by you. “(Y/N), what the hell happened?!”
“Uhm, well it seems Caspian threw a metamorphosis potion at you...” Trailing off, you winced as Sukuna let out a growing hiss.
“Is that why I’m a fucking cat right now?” You nodded pitifully and he groaned. “Fucking brats.” Giving the two of them a look, Sukuna pushed himself up on shaky arms and crawled up onto your shoulder, digging his claws slightly into you as he settled around your neck. “The King and Queen will be furious to know what you’ve done.”
“(Y/N) can fix it!” Caroline shouted, trying to save them both from getting in trouble.
“Um, I guess I-”
“No, no they can’t.” Sukuna cut you off, sitting up a little straighter and letting a smug grin overtake his face. “You know (Y/N) is only an apprentice, do you really think they can fix this?” Letting a pause fall over the conversation, Sukuna tilted his head, his ears tickling your cheek. “You know how hard magic is to control, what if no one can turn me back to a human? Your parents will be enraged knowing they lost their best warrior to a pair of little brats.”
“Okay!” Slapping his hands over his ears, Caspian stomped his feet a few times. “We’ll fix it! What do we have to do?”
“There’s a list of ingredients I need to reverse this spell.” Pulling out the pen and pad of paper you were required to always have on hand, you scribbled down a few random items without thinking too hard about it. “Go get me these by the end of the day and we’ll have human Sukuna back in no time!”
“Let’s go!” Grabbing her brother's hand, Caroline ran from the room, ripping the paper from your grasp as she went. The door to the playroom banged against the wall again as they exited and left you and Sukuna alone.
“Well now that they’re occupied for a bit, go ahead and change me back, (Y/N).” Jumping onto the ground, Sukuna shook his head side to side and sat on the ground, his long tail swishing back and forth lazily.
“About that…” Wringing your hands together painfully tight, you could barely look at Sukuna.
“What?” His eyes narrowed, sensing your hesitation.
“I just, well I-”
“Out with it!” A loud hiss spurred you into speaking, along with Sukuna arching his back angrily.
“I can’t do it! That potion the kids took was a fluke to begin with, I’m surprised it even changed you into a cat and didn’t just burn your eyebrows off!” God it felt embarrassing admitting that Sukuna had essentially been right when he was calling the kids bluff. There wasn’t much more you could do on your own other than light a candle with your mind and make paperclips levitate.
“Okay, it’s not that bad. We can get one of your seniors to do it.” Starting toward the door, Sukuna let out a shriek when you scooped him up.
“No, we can’t do that! They’ll never let me live it down!” Holding him tightly, you felt his claws dig into your arms and hands. “L-let me figure it out, please!”
“You just said you couldn’t do it, why would I let you ‘figure it out’ when I can get changed back within a few minutes?”
“Please, just let me try! I have to prove myself!”
“Is this really the time for that? There’s a war-”
“Sukuna, there’s always a war! That’s all you ever talk about!” Yanking his claws out of the skin of your arm, you huffed and tried to calm the burning of your cheeks. “Just give me until the end of the day, please? I can fix you by the end of the day.”
Breathing heavily as well, Sukuna raked his eyes over you. There wasn’t much he knew about you other than you were another fledging witch scouted by the kingdom and that this was the most you’d ever spoken to each other directly and not in a group setting. It wasn’t just Sukuna who was stiff in conversations, it was you as well.
“Fine.” Worming his way out of your hold and back onto the ground, Sukuna swiped at his face a few times to fix the fur around his eyes. “If I’m not a human by nightfall, I’m going to your mentor.”
“Deal.” Nodding your head in agreement, you gestured toward the door. “Shall we go back to my study?”
“Lead the way.” Falling into step next to you, Sukuna walked down the halls to a part of the castle he never really visited. While he was marveling at some of the magic happening behind doorways, you were worrying your lip and praying with every step you took that you could actually find a way to turn him back.
“Nice little shop you got here.” Sukuna commented upon coming to your study. Truly it was nothing more than a glorified broom closet, just enough space for a bookshelf, cauldron, a few shelves and a tiny desk shoved in the corner piled high with a mountain of notes you’d scribbled down late at night.
“Thanks.” Your room looked like all the other beginner witch's rooms, but it felt nice for Sukuna to compliment it all the same. Clearing off a space on the small table beside your cauldron for Sukuna to sit on, you went to the bookshelf to try and find a spell to turn him back.
Taking sneaking glances at you, Sukuna went up to the edge of the cauldron, sniffing the vapors that rose from the bubbling liquid. Curling his lip in disgust at the pungent odor, he hopped off the table. Too engrossed in your books, you set down a few on the spot he’d previously been occupying.
“(Y/N), what’re these papers on your desk?” Glancing over, Sukuna had leapt onto the furniture, gently swiping his paw at some papers and making them slide from the messy stack they were in.
“Just some notes from my lessons, I have a test coming up in a potions class and I really can’t afford to fail.” Shaking your head bitterly at the upcoming deadline, you turned your attention back to the book in your hand.
Glancing over a few, Sukuna found that you were correct, there were scribbles on pages and in the margins of textbooks cramming all possible information into them.
“What’s this…?” Catching the first few letters of his name on a paper that was crinkled up and folded several times, Sukuna felt his curiosity grow greater and greater.
Struggling to open it with his new appendages, Sukuna eventually got it open. At first, he wasn’t sure where to look, there were love hearts dotting nearly every letter and a hundred exclamation points. As he read and deciphered the words on the page, he started to laugh to himself. The person who you’d been passing notes to was gushing about another knight named Okkotsu and his kind demeanor all while teasing you for liking none other than Sukuna.
“So (Y/N), you have a crush on me?” He asked loudly, just barely catching the slightest hesitation in your body at his question.
“What’re you talking about?” Fighting to keep your face neutral, you sprinkled a blue powder into the cauldron.
“This note here says you’ve had a crush on me since you arrived at the palace and I’m pretty confident this is your handwriting.” Sukuna could practically see your heart begin to race the longer he spoke and a grin overtook his face.
“I-I don’t know what you’re talking about.” Nervously clearing your throat, you shook your head and closed the book in your hand. Taking a glance at him, your face fell slightly at seeing his paw holding the note open.
“Really? No clue at all? Maybe I should read it out loud and jog your memory.” If Sukuna’s smile got any bigger it would rip his cheeks apart. “Now where should I begin? How about this line, ‘Sukuna is so sexy when he does training in the evening! I love that he never wears a shirt, you can see all his tattoos!’”
“Shut up!” Throwing the remaining objects in your hand onto the table, you lunged towards him and the note. Cackling with laughter, Sukuna snatched the paper into his mouth and leaped off the desk, running circles around you in the room.
“I’m so sexy, you want me to kiss you!” He teased you mercilessly as you chased after him, reciting every embarrassing word you wrote. “You love my morning voice when I pass by you at breakfast!”
“Sukuna! Stop it!” Your entire body was on fire the longer he went and frustrated tears welled in your eyes. It was bad enough you had a crush on the most popular knight in the kingdom but to have him know about it so deeply was another blow to your ego entirely. Grabbing your wand out of a robe pocket, you let out a small shout and pointed it at him, hoping that was enough to get him to stop.
And surprisingly it was; Sukuna suddenly froze all movement, hanging in the air above the cauldron that he was trying to leap over. Stomping over to him, you ripped the note out of his mouth and tore it to shreds, letting the pieces flutter to the ground at your feet. Glaring at Sukuna with glassy eyes, you mumbled a short incantation and released him from the spell, making him plop into the cauldron below.
Sukuna let out incomprehensible screams of terror as he splashed around in the cauldron, struggling to grab any sort of footing on the side and pull himself out.
“(Y/N)! G-get me out of here!” Coughing at the liquid entering his mouth, Sukuna hooked an arm around the edge of the cauldron and tried to pull himself up only to be burned by the hot metal.
“I’ll think about it!” Crossing your arms, you kept your back turned to him. His mocking words rang in your head over and over, nearly drowning out his frantic cries. Quickly growing tired of the noise, you grabbed him by the back of the neck and yanked him from the cauldron, letting him fall to the ground in a sopping wet mess of fur.
“Took you long enough!” Sukuna sputtered, shaking himself violently to try and dry off. Unable to fully look at him, you slammed open the book you’d had open before and leaned over it, blocking out the world around you and forcing the words on the page into your head.
“(Y/N), do you have a towel around here?” Your head nearly turned on instinct to answer Sukunas question, a small twitch in your neck almost giving way to a full turn. “Oh c’mon, don’t ignore me.” His paw swiped the back of your leg and you shook him off.
“(Y/N), stop being a baby.” Touching you again, Sukuna grunted and rolled his eyes when you fully stepped away from him. “(Y/N)! I’m freezing down here with this wet fur, quit fucking around.”
“Find one yourself.” You snapped at him, storming over to your desk and plopping down on the chair. Out of the corner of your eye you could see Sukuna weighing his options, looking between you and the door behind him. You could almost see the gears turning in his head as he debated on what to say.
“If I apologize, will that make you feel better?” He asked, earning a snort from you and making a smirk pass briefly on his face. “The Great Sukuna doesn’t apologize often, so listen closely, okay?”
“I won’t hold my breath.” Rolling your eyes, you relaxed the tight crease in your brow and let your back straighten up a little, no longer hunching over the desk. Clearing his throat dramatically, Sukuna padded over with wet paws and stopped before your chair.
“I’m sorry I teased you about having a crush on me, but in my defense who wouldn’t be hopelessly in love with me?”
“Is that really your apology?” Biting your lip to stop a burgeoning smile, you forced your eyes back on your paper.
“What do you want me to say? Oh (Y/N), please forgive me for learning about your everlasting love for me, I’ll conquer a hundred enemy fortresses if that’s what it’ll take!” Swaying side to side dramatically, Sukuna laughed as he made a chuckle force it’s way past your lips.
“Fine, I guess I’ll forgive you.” Rolling your eyes once more, you did a quick wave of your hand and a sharp gust of wind went over Sukuna, drying his fur in an instant.
“Just like new.” Walking in a few circles, Sukuna surveyed his body and without warning, jumped into your lap, making space for himself and looking over the book you were reading.
“Make yourself comfortable.” Adjusting in your chair, you had to move Sukunas bobbing head out of the way several times to continue to read. “Sukuna, do you even know how to read this?” The book was written in strange symbols only able to be read and understood by those imbued magical prowess.
“No, but it’s pretty interesting to look at.” Shrugging his shoulder, he let his chin rest on the edge of the pages. Quietly reading over the book, you had to shuffle Sukuna in your lap a few times, adjusting him over and over again until you were practically cradling him with one arm and turning pages with the other.
“I could get used to this.” Sukuna yawned loudly, a purr rumbling from his chest. You didn’t have the heart to tell him that his heavy, muscular feline form had made your arm fall asleep and become completely dead to the world.
A few minutes later and a soft snoring filtered out of Sukuna, a gentle sound to fill the room bathed in warm afternoon sun. The tiny window above your desk showed a sliver of the outside world, overgrown trees skirting the edge of the window pane and attempting to obstruct your view of distant mountain ranges.
Forcing deep breaths through your nose, you couldn’t stave off the drowsiness creeping into your body as well. Every blink made your eyelids heavier and the words on the page began to blur together until you couldn’t fight sleep anymore and let your head lean against the chair, joining Sukuna in a light afternoon nap.
It was you that woke up first, thirty minutes later and with a foggy mind. Surprisingly, Sukuna hadn’t woken up from the sound of a door slamming closed across the hall, still sleeping soundly as ever in your arms.
Looking over him, you noticed the markings across his face and body, tattoos that carried over from his human form. Tracing your finger along his face, you were enraptured by the soft fur that met your touch and continued along his body. Fully petting the length of Sukuna’s body, you prodded his soft, relaxed stomach and scratched gently with the tip of your nail.
“That feels nice.” He mumbled, barely awake and cuddling deeper into your side. Despite feeling embarrassed at being caught you kept going, expanding upwards and rubbing along his ribs and chest.
“Sukuna you’re so cute as a cat, are you sure you want to change back?”
“As much as I love being pet like this, I have a duty to my kingdom.” Stretching his legs out, Sukuna grunted like he was going to get up but gave up halfway, flopping back and letting out a soft sigh.
“You don’t seem to be in any rush to get back.” You chuckled, scratching behind his ears and smiling widely when he began to purr.
“Well…” Pushing his head against your hand, Sukuna shrugged. “They’ll be fine without me for a little bit.”
There was a pregnant pause before he spoke again,  filled with his loud purring and soft breathing. “You know, I haven’t slept this well in ages. Always too busy with training or going to battle.” Blinking his eyes slowly, Sukuna peered up at you. “Maybe I should become a witch like you, (Y/N), then I could relax like this all the time.”
“You’re kidding; me, relax? I’m constantly on edge, there’s so much pressure to break my back for the kingdom and become the strongest sorcerer.” Slumping against the chair, your head lolled back and you stared at the dark stone ceiling. “I’d love to trade places with you Sukuna, I want to know what it’s like to be so strong and confident all the time.”
“It’s pretty great, I won’t lie.” He mumbled under his breath and you laughed, jostling him around as you straightened up your spine.
“You’ll have to teach me sometime, okay?” Standing up and opening your arms, you haphazardly placed Sukuna on the desk and walked over to the cauldron, cracking the bones in your back and looking over the ingredients you’d put in so far. “Now, let’s turn you back into a human.”
“(Y/N).” Sukuna said your name slowly, hopping from the desk to the table by the cauldron and slinking past forgotten vials to settle close at your side. “Mind if I watch?”
“Why?” It wasn’t that you didn’t want him to but unless Sukuna was suddenly granted the gift of magic the recipe you were following would be of no use to him.
“I want to know what it’s like to be the smartest in the room.” Sukuna grinned at you, bumping his nose against your arm a few times.
“Shut up.” A light flush went over your face and warmed your cheeks, and a slightly impish smile pushed your cheeks up. The compliment warmed your heart just as much, making it beat faster in your chest.
“Shut up and take notes? Got it.” Nodding curtly, Sukuna squinted his eyes and stared intensely at your hands. Laughing wholeheartedly at how serious he looked, you did a dramatic wave of your hand and picked up a spellbook.
“Alright, watch and learn.”
Whether or not Sukuna was actually learning anything or truly paying attention was lost on you, but it was certainly fun having him so focused on you and your actions. Humming and nodding like he understood when you mumbled to yourself, Sukuna was acting just like you had when you first arrived at the palace with bright eyes and an eager mind.
“Try this.” Pouring a mixture into a jar, you tilted it back for Sukuna to drink from.
“Fucking disgusting!” Wrenching himself away, Sukuna spit the bright yellow liquid onto the ground and watched it sizzle. “Are you trying to poison me now?”
“Wha- but I was so sure that was the right one!” Scrapping the jar, you returned to the book. “Maybe I need spider legs after all…”
“You need me to go out into the garden and catch you some?” Still reeling from the rancid taste in his mouth, Sukuna glanced out the window. The light in the sky was beginning to wind down, it was almost dinner time and his stomach was starting to growl.
“No, I-”
“(Y/N)!” An all too familiar voice shouted your name and you got flashbacks to just a few hours before when your door was slammed open and two children ran inside.
“Oh great, the royal brats.” Snarling at the kids, Sukuna leapt up and onto your shoulder, curling himself around your neck and burrowing into the collar of your robes. Flinching away from him, Caroline and Caspian hesitantly showed you what was clenched tightly in their small hands.
“We got all the stuff on the list!” Caroline showed hers first, a handful of daisies and a small chunk of amethyst.
“Caroline was too much of a baby to get the other stuff.” Caspian huffed, extending his palm out and showcasing the dead spiders and newt eyeballs.
“I can’t believe it, you two actually listened for once.” You marveled at the ingredients, quickly snatching them up and sorting them out on the table.
“Took you long enough.” Sukuna huffed. “Now go get my clothes from that stupid playroom!”
“Okay!” And away the two of them went, rushing down the hall with echoing footsteps. Flipping pages in a book you’d cast aside, you read it over and put in all the ingredients they had brought.
“This spell really is the one to turn you back to a human. God, I feel like an idiot, the answer was right in front of me!” Kicking yourself internally, you looked at your stash of ingredients; you had all the things the kids had brought you already at your disposal.
Right as Sukuna was about to speak, his clattering armor and underclothes made an appearance in the room, clattering to the ground as the kids struggled to carry it all inside. Laying out his clothes for him, you poured the new potion into a glass.
“Turn around children, I don’t want you to see something you shouldn’t.” With a chorus of giggles behind you, you even covered your eyes as you held the glass to Sukuna’s lips. “Try and jump onto the ground after you drink it all, I don’t want you breaking the table.”
“Got it.” Sukuna was better prepared for the transformation this time, swallowing all of the potion and gritting his teeth at the discomfort coursing through him. When you felt the glass was empty, you turned around to give him privacy.
Holding your breath and crossing your fingers, every fiber of your being was hoping and praying that Sukuna returned to normal. You heard clothing rustle and armor clanking, but you didn’t open your eyes until a heavy human hand landed on your shoulder.
“I’m back!” Sukuna cheered, flexing the muscles in his body and tightening the various straps on his clothing. He’d forgon putting his armor back on, opting to wear just the loose green tunic and pants that he had on underneath.
“We did it!” The children cheered as well, clapping and smiling.
“You two were the whole cause of this mess! You should be cheering for (Y/N) for saving you from a punishment.”
“Thanks (Y/N)!”
“Yeah, you’re the best!” Giving you brief and crushing hugs, the two youths ran from the room, probably off to find other mischief to get into. Letting out a relieved sigh, you began to clean up the table.
“Nice work, (Y/N).” Patting you on the back, Sukuna attempted to help you by gathering all the empty vials.
“It would have been better if I’d just checked that book to begin with. I thought I wrote down those ingredients for them at random, but turns out the answer was so glaringly obvious that of course I missed it.” While it felt good to turn Sukuna back into a human, the knowledge that this could have been done a lot sooner weighed heavily on your mind.
“Don’t beat yourself up about it.” Returning his hand to your back, Sukuna let it rest a bit heavier. “You’re still learning, you’re bound to mess up here and there. But hey, you turned me back in the end!” Smiling at you, Sukuna gave you a half hug, not caring if he crushed you against his chiseled physique.
“Sukuna, that was so nice of you to say, thank you.” Hugging him back, your heart felt like it was going to burst.
“You think so? I’ve been practicing ever since my commanders told me to be softer to the new recruits and give them words of encouragement.”
“Well it’s certainly paid off.” The heat from his body transferred onto yours, making it obvious when you pulled away from each other that your whole body was slowly being set on fire from the sweet words melting your brain.
Cleaning up was quick with Sukuna’s help and before you knew it your workspace was just as messy as before all of this had happened and there was the familiar chatter of other witches walking down the halls towards dinner.
“I guess I’ll see you around.” It was bittersweet knowing Sukuna was leaving to the same place you were but going to sit at completely different places, on opposite sides of the dining hall. You desperately wanted to ask to eat with him, to extend the moment you two were having, but your social rank prevented you from being the one to make the first move.
“What do you mean? Aren’t you going to eat dinner?” Grabbing the door, Sukuna slowly pulled it open, ignoring the shocked looks from passersby as he started to make his exit.
“I am but-”
“Then c’mon, let's go.” With half his body already out the door, Sukuna paused when he saw you weren’t making any move. “What’s wrong?”
“Nothing, go on without me.”
“I want to go with you.” Quirking a brow, Sukuna swayed on his feet for another moment before getting fed up with waiting and grabbing onto your sleeve, yanking you from your room and into the hall.
All eyes were on you and you knew there would be a lot of questions hurled your way sooner or later about what was going on with the two of you. Someone as high ranking as Sukuna wasn’t seen with new recruits, especially not coming out of their workspaces.
“Now let’s go, I’m fucking starving.” Sliding a hand up to the collar of your robes, Sukuna held a fistful in his hand and made you walk with him down the hall.
“Sukuna, you don’t have to be friendly with me anymore, I already held my end of the deal.”
“Why should I stop? I liked hanging out with you, (Y/N). Unless you don’t want to hang out with me anymore.” His grip softened a little and you grasped his wrist.
“No, I do! I-I really do! It’s just, you’re such a high rank and-”
“So what?”
“So, it’s not really heard of for us to mingle!”
“What’re you talking about, I mingle with witches all the time!”
“Yeah but they’re more senior than I am.” Letting out a sharp grunt, Sukuna stopped abruptly and turned you to face him.
“Fine. (Y/N), as your superior I order you to have dinner with me. Happy now?” Without waiting for an answer, Sukuna began to walk again. “And if you give me any more shit, I’ll make you run up a hundred mountains when I train you.”
“You want to train me?” Sure, witches received some physical training but a majority of your learning was focused on magic.
“I think it’s only fair since I learned a bit of magic today.” Getting into the line to enter the dining hall, Sukuna finally released your collar.
“I’d like to learn from you.” Giving him a bashful smile, you were mentally clearing your schedule in preparation for the day.
“You might fall even more in love with me, I can’t wait to read the notes you pass around about me afterwards.”
“God, you’ll never let me live that down will you?” Slapping your hands over your face, you felt the urge to bang your head against the wall.
“Never.” Laughing at your misfortune, Sukuna nudged you forward and into the dining hall. “Now go get some food, I’ll save my biggest fan a seat next to me at my usual table.” Leaving you all alone and dying of embarrassment, Sukuna walked to a group of other knights, his loud and boisterous voice easily carrying over the others in the room.
Gathering all the pieces of your dinner, you looked out at the massive dining hall, crammed with knights, witches and other civil servants just trying to make it. Scanning over the tables, you could see gaggles of knights but not the one you wanted to see.
“(Y/N)!” Just as you’d given up searching and turned away, Sukuna yelled your name, somehow cutting through all the noise. Looking over your shoulder you saw Sukuna standing on a table and waving at you once you made eye contact. The seat next to him was completely empty, a space big enough for you to sit and eat at.
“C-coming!” You yelled back, unsure if he even heard you until you received a big thumbs up and Sukuna jumped off the table. With scalding cheeks, you gripped your plate tighter and rushed over to the table, eager to spend more time with your new friend.

"If you ever feel like something is taking a toll on you, then start running, you will always find a destination"
"I am not saying don't date the guy, I am only saying to take it slow, you're going way too fast" Bonnie said as Primadonna finished reading another chapter of her novel she had kept with her since that night "Plus, Evne Prim doesn't like the guy, right Prim?" Primadonna then looked at Bonnie and said "I mean, a little? Cause seriously? Who forgets someone's name?"
Then Elena gave Bonnie a pointed look and said "But Bonnie, you only had told me to go for it!" Then Bonnie scrunched her face and then said "And I now I am saying not?" Primadonna looked up from her book at Bonnie and gave her look which literally said 'seriously? That's the best reason?' Bonnie then shrugged her shoulders at Primadonna and then looked back at Elena.
"Why the pout face?" Bonnie then replied "It's not a pout face, it's just that you are single for the first time in your high school career! I believe you should enjoy it! It's the perfect time to pay the fields."
"Yeah, cause I am so that girl" Elena replied while playfully rolling her eyes and smiling, which Primadonna thought was doing alot these days for some reason. "Seriously, what are you not telling me Bonnie?"
Bonnie then looked down for awhile and then looked up and said "It's.. Stupid" and starts walking away, but then Elena and Primadonna stops her way and Elena says "Spit it out!"
"I had accidentally touched Stefan, and I got a really bad feeling from him" Bonnie blurted out, Elena and Primadonna looked at each other and then at Bonnie "Like.. Bad Bad feeling, you know?"
Then Elena asked "Is this the witch mojo thing again?"
Then Primadonna asked "How much bad?" then Bonnie said "Like..you know when you go near a dangerous animal your brain knows that it's dangerous? That bad.." 'that's weird' Primadonna thought.
Then Elena looked a little bummed so Bonnie said "Look, it's just a feeling, it's just be looking out for my best friend's new boyfriend. I swear." then Elena replied "And I love you for it, I really do but it's been a hard year and finally things are going in places and Stefan has a huge part in it."
Then on queue, Primadonna saw Stefan walking towards them so she whispered "Stefan alert, my friends, and let's talk about this topic later"
"Morning Elena, Morning Bonnie, Hey Primadonna" Primadonna rolled her eyes and said "Oh you remember my name now?" Stefan then cringed a bit inside because of his mistake and said "I already apologised to you for the fourth time, this is fifht, I am so sorry!" Then Primadonna forcefully smiled at him and said "Of course, I am gonna go. Bye" and started walking then Bonnie joined her too saying "I have to go too, Caroline had called me!"
As they both were leaving, Stefan sighed and said "I don't think they both really like me that much, I understand about Pridonna but,Bonnie?" Then Elena looked at him with a confused face and said "Stefan.. It's Primadonna, you know? The main singer of an opera show?"
Stefan's eyes went wide and then he started rambling "Oh my god I am so sorry again! I don't know why I keep messing a simple thing as a name! Please don't tell her!" Elena smiled a little and said "It is ok, it's nice that you care about my friend's opinion about you, plus, Her name was a handful to all of us when we first met her, she was the only saying it correctly for some years"
Stefan then smiled and said "When did you first meet her?" Elena smiled and said "Oh! That's when-..uh..I.. Don't remember?"
Stefan looked at her confused and said "Wait what?"

"World War II had ended in.." Primadonna's professor's voice had drowned down in her ears as she was drawing something in her notebook, which was like a scene she had seen in her dream last night, apparently these dreams have been coming at her since few days ago which consists of people from the 19th century.
Then felt a tap on her table from right side of it and saw Bonnie "What are you drawing? Actually you never time pass between classes, specially AP history, what changed, Ms. Neris?" Bonnie said in a mocking manner of a British person, of whom Primadonna had the accent of, the reason behind, she had stayed in London with her father when she was a toddler till she was pre-teen
Primadonna smiled and said" Oh nothing, I already did my this term's syllabus for almost all subjects so these classes are very boring for me"Bonnie looked at her friend impressed and said "Now that's something none of us here would be able to do, btw what are you drawing?"
Then Primadonna looked at her notebook and saw that it was a drawing of three children, two boys and one girl between them, they were laying on a grass field and their clothes looked again like old times, One boy was looking older than the other and the little girl looked like. 'Pandora?why did I put her here? Meh maybe because I see the child so much, sadly today I can't cause she is gone for an orphanage camping trip"
Then Bonnie looked at her notebook while bending a little towards her and said "Woah, that's a nice drawing, btw, is that your cousin?"
"Miss Bennet! Miss Neris, I believe you can answer my question? Actually not you Primadonna, Bonnie please go ahead" Then Bonnie gave a confused smile and said "Pearl Harbour?" Tanner then looked at her confused, including Primadonna.
"December 7th,1941" Stefan said, Then Mr. Tanner looked at Stefan and said "Thank you, Miss Bennet." Then Stefan smiled and said "No problem sir."
Tanner now looked irritated and said "Very well, Fall of Berlin Wall" Then Stefan quickly said "1989"
Everyone looked at him with shock including Primadonna cause it had also taken her sometime to remember the answer of this question,Then Stefan looked at everyone's faces and said "uh, I am actually really good with dates, sir."
Then Tanner gave him a look and said "Are you? How good?" Then Primadonna thought 'Oh god, now he is going to take it as a challenge..' then Tanner said "Keep it to the year. Civil rights act?"
"1964"
"John F. Kennedy assassination"
"1963"
"
Martin Luther King"
" '68"
"Lincoln?"
"1865"
"Rode vs Wade?"
"1973"
"Brown vs Board"
"1954"
"The Battle of Gettysberg"
"1863"
"Korean War"
"1950-1953"
Then Tanner exclaimed "Ha! It ended in' 52!" Then Stefan looked confused and said "No, actually sir it ended in '53"
Tanner's all confidence broke and said to the whole class in a rush" Look it up somebody! "
Primadonna had phone in her pocket for some research so she took it out and searched and it read '25 June 1950 – 27 July 1953'
Then Primadonna guiltily said" Uh sir it ended in.. '53 so Mr. Salvatore here was right."
┗━✦❘༻༺❘✦━━┛
Primadonna stretched her arms while she was coming near at the practise location she then saw her two friends and ran towards them and said" Hey guys! Elena! You're here! That's great"
Elena and Bonnie looked at Primadonna and Elena said "Thanks Prim, btw you also cheer? I didn't know that! Did you learn in London?" Then Primadonna smiled and said "No silly, I just have a very flexible body, so I thought 'why not give it a try, I am trying to be more social this year' and it's kinda nice to be a little sporty"
As she finished, one girl came upto them whose name Primadonna remember was Tikki and said "Oh really Neris? Show how much flexibility you have" Primadonna shrugged her shoulder and sat down... While doing a split.
All of the three other girl's eyes went wide and Tikki then huffed and left, Bonnie and Elena then started clapping and when they stopped Bonnie said "That's so great Prim! You're perfect for a cheerleader."
Primadonna smiled and then Elena said "Oh yes, I almost forgot, Primadonna you're also coming for dinner" Then Primadonna looked confused and said "What dinner?"
Then Bonnie rolled her eyes and said "apparently, Elena here thinks that having one dinner with Stefan would make us change our opinion about him" Then Primadonna scrunched her face and said "I am sorry Elena, I have to babysit Pandora"
Which made Elena smirk and said "Ms. Neris, you were the one who had told us that she is on a one week camping trip with her school, remember? So that's final, you're coming"
Primadonna then groaned and said "Why me?" Then Bonnie patted her shoulder and said "Me too girl.. Me too.."
Then Primadonna lifted her head and said "btw, are you going to cook food?" Then Elena shrugged and said "No, I am gonna order it from outside" Then Primadonna placed her hand on her heart and said "That actually hurtled me Lena!"
Then Elena said "wait, why?" then Primadonna said "You know what? I will give you the list of ingredients for the dishes after practice, get them for me at your home and I will come early to cook them all, got it?"
The Bonnie looked at Primadonna and said "You know how to cook? How?" Then Primadonna sheepishly smiled and said "Uh.. Remember? I live alone?" then everything went in an awkward silence then Bonnie said "uh.. Ok! Change of topic.. Uh where is Caroline? Did any of you see her?" they both nodded their head sideways.
Just then a blue mustang arrived at the practice location and then Primadonna saw in the car was.. 'Caroline.. And Demon?'
Then Bonnie said" who is that? " Then Primadonna said" Uh. Demon Salvatore? " Then Damon's face scrunched and Elena laughed a little and said" Uh it's actually Damon Salvatore, now it's equal his brother forgot your name and you forgot his. Nice"
Then Caroline got out from the car after kissing Damon and walked past them saying "I got the other brother, hope you don't mind" While wearing a scarf in the heat of Mystic Falls.
Then Primadonna said "Why would she go out with him? Seriously that guys face says he is a maniac!" Then Damon rolled his eyes and smiled and waved at the three shocked girls and left.
╰─〔❨✧✧❩〕─╯
Primadonna was now at Elena's house hours before the dinner time preparing things in their kitchen while Jenna, Elena and Bonnie who had arrived early too, to see Primadonna cook, was looking at her in a state of mesmerised shock.
Then Bonnie said "it feels like a chef is cooking at your house" then Elena and Jenna slowly nodded their heads too while Jenna said "I know right?"
Then Primadonna left the white sauce to cook and looked at the window of the oven to check the blueberry cheesecake. Then she she drained out the fettuccine pasta and then placed it in a serving bowl and poured the alfredo sauce over it and mixed and added oregano, some chilli flakes, roasted small mushrooms and for the finale, a Bay leaf of top of it.
Then she also took out the Cheesecake from the oven and placed it in the fridge and removed a huge box from her bag and opened it, it was Lasagna, she placed the Lasagna too in the oven.
Then she came out of the kitchen, all sweaty and saw everyone, then after a second they started clapping and then stopped and Bonnie said "Woah.. How did you do that? It looks so professional!"
Then Primadonna smiled and said "I will tell you that later." then Elena smiled and said "and the Pasta and Lasagna is Italian, how did you know Stefan is Italian?"
Then Primadonna looked confused and said "He is Italian? I didn't know that! It's just Italian food are my speciality, including Indian."
Then Bonnie said "You can cook indian food too! Why didn't you tell us gosh!" then everyone laughed and then Primadonna said "Uh OK, so I am all sweaty so I gonna have to change, my home is too far so I have to go the nearest dress shop here and Aunt Jenna, please remove the Lasagna after the oven tings. Bye!"
Then Primadonna left in her car in search of a shop. After few minutes she found one and looked at the dresses in it and quickly picked a pink crop top with a cream coloured shrug and high waisted shorts and left to go back at Elena house and shower.
As she came back, Bonnie and Elena were arranging the table so she ran upstairs and took the shower and changed her clothes.
Then when she came down she her the doorbell ring and Elena happily skipped towards the door while Bonnie and Primadonna rolled their eyes.
.·:*¨¨* ≈☆≈ *¨¨*:·.
They all now were on the dinner table and eating the food when Elena said "So, did Tanner gave you a hard time today?" then Stefan shrugged and said "Well, he let me on the team, so I've must have done something right" Then Elena smiles while she looks over at her two very uninterested friends and says "You both should've seen Stefan today, Tyler threw a ball at him-"
Then Bonnie and Primadonna interupted and said "Yeah, we heard" Elena, being a very persistent person said "Bonnie, why don't you tell Stefan about your family?"
Then Bonnie sighed and said "um, divorced mom.Live with my dad" then Elena shook her head and said "No, I meant the witches" Which Made Stefan look up from his food, which for some reason made him feel like he had it somewhere before, and then at Bonnie.
Then Elena saw that Stefan also looked interested so she said "Bonnie has a lineage of witches, it's really cool" Then Bonnie boringly said "Cool isn't the word I'd use."
Then Stefan said "Well it's certainly very interesting, there are records of celtic druids migrating here in the 1800s."
Then Bonnie looked at Stefan and said "My family is from the Salem Witches" which Made Stefan smile and say "Well Salem Witches reserve heroic example of individualism and nonconforming"
Then Bonnie smiled and said "Yeah they are" Elena was happy that her one friend was now liking Stefan but now she had to find a way which would make Primadonna like Stefan too.
Just then they heard the doorbell ring "I am gonna go get it" Then She opened the door which revealed Caroline with a cake in her hand "Hey! We brought dessert!"
Then she moved in and then Elena saw Damon too, then Stefan got up from his seat and went towards the door which made Bonnie and Primadonna look at each other like 'you see what I am seeing?'
Then Stefan glared at Damon and said" What are you doing here? " Then Damon smiled and said" waiting for miss Gilbert to invite me in!"
Then Elena nods and says" Oh yeah you-" then Stefan interrupts her and says" No uh, no he can't!" then Caroline literally just demands" Just come in" while Stefan says "That we've just finished"
Then Elena sighs and says "Just come in Damon." Then Damon smiles and says "You have a beautiful Home Elena" while Elena smiles at him for the complement.
Then Damon and Caroline goes in the dinning room and see Bonnie and Primadonna "Caroline smiles at them both and takes two plate from shelf and gives one to Damon and sits next the Bonnie while Damon has to sit next to Primadonna now.
Stefan and Elena join them too and continue their food,Then Damon takes a bite of the pasta and the bite suddenly reminds him of something he can't really put his finger on it.
"Woah, the food is great, Elena, did you make it, it tastes really good." Damon exaggerates to annoy his brother then Elena smiles and says "No actually the person who made this food is right next to you Damon."
Then Caroline, Damon and Stefan look at Primadonna with a shock "You can cook? And this good?" Caroline asks. Then Primadonna shrugs and says "I like cooking" then Bonnie smiles and says "Well Primadonna has a reason behind it, and she is gonna tell us that now! Please!"
Then Primadonna's eyes go wide then she looks at Elena and sees she also wants her to tell it.
"Uh.. Ok.. So. My dad used to teach me ato cook when I was young because my dad is a professional Chef. He also owns a restaurant"
Then Elena says "Oh that's why! I guess the apple didn't fall far away from the tree! So, what is the name of the restaurant?" then Primadonna says "Well it's a restaurant" then Damon rolls his eyes and says "We get it, your father works in the commercialised food industry, now tell the name!"
Then Primadonna quickly says "Uh the Serene's" Everything stops and Caroline accidentally drops her fork on the ground.
Then Bonnie slowly says "Do you mean the literal multi-million dollar food chain, The Serene's? Whose secret recipe pasta we all are eating now?"
Then Primadonna sheepishly smiles and says "Uh.. Yeah you can say that." Then Caroline says "Woah, now I ge it, why your almost everything is of a famous brand. Your dad is literally a millionaire"
Then Damon says "So your dad is Achilleus Tsimehcla?" then Primadonna says "Uh yea, my Full name is Primadonna Neris Tsimehcla."
Then they all slowly finish their food after a shocking reveal then Primadonna tells Elena and Bonnie "Uh I have to go, my house is far away so it would take me time plus we have school."
She waves them all goodbye and gets inside her car and starts to drive away from her home, when is almost at her house she gets a headache and stops her car and sits down.
Then she hears footsteps of someone running towards her then she tries to run but the person grabs her from her waist, then turns her around, but before she could even see the person's face, they grab her face and smashes their lips with her.
She tries to remove herself from the person's grips and after sometime manages to do so, she then slaps the person and when the person looks up she shouts
"Damon!?"
A/n:- Oooo.. Things just got interesting and I am gonna leave it at a cliffhanger.. Don't worry, I might post the next chapter today itself cause I am free today and also I am really excited how Primadonna would react for Tanner's death as almost for all the tvd fic, for some reason everyone loathed tanner, I do too but Primadonna's favourite subject is history so I have to give her a different reaction from rest of the fics. Plus I think this is the longest chapter I wrote in this fic

TVD, 2
Klaroline, 2 and 4
Elena Gilbert, 14 and 19
Sorry I'm asking too many 👀💕
No no! I love answering these. They are so fun to think about.
TVD...my three favorite characters and why I love them so much.
I like all of these characters primarily because of how they develop outside of their ships. Each of these three could have been the main characters with how much of their own "stuff" they had. (But wait, isn't Elena the main character? I don't know that I always agree with that. Maybe she was, but it feels like it became so much more about the love triangle in the end. And she kind of always seemed like an inconsequential part of that love triangle to me that she stopped feeling like the main character).
Bonnie Bennett
When we meet Bonnie, her powers are beginning to manifest in ways she can't ignore. And she has a few lines dismissing it on her "drunk" grandma, but the stronger they get the more she can't ignore them. Her family dynamic is just interesting and I wanted to know more. Why is Rudy not around a lot? Why do they not share the same last name? Why does she have this perception of her grandma as a crazy drunk?
There are these established elements that make what comes next interesting. Her growing relationship with her grandma. (She's the only main character I can think of that went to an adult about the terrifying supernatural business. The trust!) Building this trust on this secret she now has. She's a witch. She comes from a long line of witches. It's discovering and growing in this whole new identity that she shares with the women in her family. And the absolute horror of having to go through that on her own, initially before she tells her grandma and then after she passes. Seeing what she sees with the numbers and when she touches Stefan and not being able to explain it to any of her peers.
The inner conflict of her character and journey she goes on is just main character energy to me.
Tumblr media
Elena Gilbert
I'll say, in general for TVD, I forget most of what happens between season 5-8. The first few seasons of the show, Elena as a character outside of the love triangle is interesting.
This girl with immense survivor's guilt trying to keep it together. How everyone else has moved past her grief and their patience for it is so relatable. She's a year or two older than her brother, but feels this really scary responsibility to take care of him even with her aunt alive. It's so much pressure. And on top of that, she finds out that she was cursed with a face (and blood) that people want to use and sacrifice and take advantage of.
I just love seeing characters on screen that are more internal processors. (I know the books are so different from the show, but if the show was written out most of where Elena would come through is in internal monologues).
Tumblr media
Tyler Lockwood
Tyler might have the best character growth in the show, hands down. To go from pushy, stereotypical jock to sensitive, strong pack leader is a journey.
There are so many scenes I love watching him in. When he stands up to Klaus to help unsire the other hybrids. Him advocating for them against his friends. Setting boundaries in later seasons with Caroline after finding out about her romp in the woods with Klaus. His dedication to his friends and keeping them safe. HIS PERCEPTION. Seriously, Tyler lived with an abusive dad. His observation skills are through the roof.
I think that's one of my favorite parts about his character. This perception that he's a dumb jock and the reality is that he is a deeply sensitive character who is so observant about the world around him. That he has a hidden heart of an artist.
Tumblr media
Klaroline...why I do or don't ship them.
My brain is broken and most canon ships or end-games don't appeal to me. I think it's that I oscillate between "best friends who always liked each other as friends and had each other's backs and then other people notice they like each other first" OR "these people are toxic together and make each other objectively work but its hot that way"
Klaroline...how many other characters in my opinion see the chemistry of this couple before the couple itself does.
I had so many thoughts on this one. Certainly Kol teases Klaus about it and Katherine has that moment of talking to Caroline to ask how it was with him.
But I think the character who really notices first is Tyler. He's a perceptive character. I think that's his strength. Some might say jealousy and there is that, but I think underneath it all - he sees what is happening. Both from Klaus and Caroline.
Elena Gilbert...what I think they want more than anything else.
So many things that revolve around her family and keeping people safe. I think there's guilt and shame there with her feeling like her existence causes pain and heartbreak for people she cares about. And because that is there, there is also an obligation to live your life for other people.
I kind of just see her wanting it all to stop.
Elena Gilbert...a song that describes how I feel about this character.
This might come off really mean, but Car Underwater by Armor for Sleep. It's just peak early season Elena (which is my favorite Elena) and I can totally see her listening to this in the hallways between classes.
(I tend to think of Caroline as being into pop music. Upbeat and fun. Bonnie I see as being into folk music. Anything flowy and romantic. And I can't get it out of my head that Elena would prefer emo and angst. Their road trips pass-the-aux moments are fun and chaotic.)

AN: I made her a year younger than Elena I hope that’s ok. And I didn’t put one number in because it didn’t fit I hope that’s ok with you. Also I blushed so hard writing this.
You’ve always like Stefan. From the day you met him when Elena brought him over. But you never did anything about it since they were in love.
Or so you thought.
You couldn’t believe when Elena got with Damon. To you Stefan was the better brother. He seemed like the better choice. You’ve met Damon he’s never really talked to you. You guess he didn’t care for Elenas younger sister.
That’s what you assumed Stefan thought of you as well.
You’ve had a few boyfriends in the past but they broke your heart. That’s why you kind of gave up on love.
But Stefan was acting really weird. He was flirting with you. He’s never done that.
But you flirted back. Since he wasn’t dating anyone you thought what’s the harm.
You always thought Elena and Stefan would be the perfect couple.
Now today me and Caroline were going to a party. You’ve been feeling a bit down the past few days so you thought a party might help you lift up your spirits.
It was the Salvatore mansion the party was at and you didn’t mind that you just hoped you didn’t run into Elena.
And here you were talking to a guy who just started talking to you. You didn’t want to be rude so you talked back.
You felt someone tap on your shoulder you turned around to see Stefan standing there.
“Oh hey Stefan,” You waves at him. He looked mad and you didn’t know why. You hoped you hadn’t upset him in any way. “What’s wrong are you ok,” You asked him in worry tone.
“Can I talk to you,” Stefan asked you in a deep tone. He looked over your shoulder to see the guys standing there, “Alone.”
“Oh yeah sure,” You accepted and walked further away from the guys you were talking to. “So whatcha need,” You asked wringing your hands together.
“Just wanted to make sure you were ok,” Stefan asked.
“Yeah I’m fine,” You answered while furrowing you’re brows. “Just that guy over there was pretty boring,” You state rocking on your heels.
“Yeah you looked pretty bored talking to him,” Stefan smiled down at you.
“Were you jealous,” You ask with a teasing smirk on your face. You took a sip of the alcohol wondering what he was going to say.
“Nope just worried about,” He casually said.
“Oh,” You surprised you didn’t know he was telling the truth. “I’m surprised I thought you liked me,” You muttered.
“I do like you,” He admitted with a smile on his face.
“Sure,” You sarcastically replied while rolling her eyes.
“Y/N,” Stefan snapped.
“What,” You snapped back.
“Just listen to me,” He asked in a harsh tone.
“Oh bite me,” You scoffed. You knew you were being dramatic but that’s how you always were. That was your flaw you were over dramatic about things.
“If you insist,” Stefan smirked as he brought his hands to your waist and his lips to yours.
You were shocked at first but kissed back your lips moving with his. You brought your hands to his neck and played with his hair.
His lips left yours and traveled to your neck where he kept kissing and sucking on your skin. You let out a tiny moan, luckily the music was so loud nobody could hear you. You could feel yourself getting more turned on by the minute
“We should uh take this to your room,” You let out a breathy moan after that. You didn’t want to have sex in the middle of a lot of people.
“Before we get carried away,” You whispered as he looked up at you with dark eyes.
“I agree,” Stefan whispered.
He grabbed your hand and walked up the stairs while you followed behind him. You were feeling a tad nervous you’ve only had sex with one guy. But you really wanted to do this. He made you feel things that other guys couldn’t.
The both of you stopped in front of his bed room door.
You walked up to his window and saw people on the front yard either passed out or dancing.
You felt Stefan walk up behind you and put his hands on your waist. You could feel his breath in your neck which made you feel even more turned on.
He began to pepper your neck with kisses which turned to him sucking the skin right besides your ear which made you moan. You felt your self to start to get wet which made you silently curse your self. He’s barely even touched you and you were already feeling like this.
“I wanna fuck you right against the glass so everyone can see how good you take it,” Stefan whispered which made you gasp. From any times you’ve had sex you have never experienced dirty talk at least not to this extreme.
“Well you wouldn’t want them to see what’s yours right,” You whispered already knowing he wouldn’t do what he said.
“You’re mine,” Stefan growled in your ear which made your whole body tingle.
“All yours,” You whispered turning around bringing your hand to his neck bringing him down to kiss you.
“Strip and get on the bed,” He whispered after the both of your pulled apart. His voice was deep.
You nodded and removed your shirt and skirt in front of him. You were going to take off your panties and bra but he stopped you before you could.
You laid down on his bed and on your back. You let out a sigh feeling the comfort of his sheets.
A few minutes later you were getting tired of the teasing you brought your hand to your pussy and started to rub your clit thought you panties. You felt him come on the bend and lay halfway on top of you and tapped your hand to make you move it.
“Don’t fucking touch what is not yours.” Stefan growled. You opened your eyes he had removed his shirt and that’s about it.
You let out a tiny smirk removing your hand from your underwear.
“Good girl,” He praises you with a smirk on his face. “Don’t forget who you belong too,” He whispered while giving you a look in his dark eyes.
Stefan leaned down to your stomach and began to kiss your stomach and every few seconds began to move lower.
When he got the edge of your panties you closed your legs feeling your self getting even wetter.
“Be a good girl and spread your legs,” He drawled out when he notice you closed your legs.
You didn’t compile at first which made him roll his eye before he squeezed your thought. “Oh kitten don’t make tell you twice.”
You compiled spreading your legs letting him slip between them. He pulled your panties down and threw them across the room, leaving your lower half completely undressed.
He smirked at how wet he made you feel. You were squirming from under his gaze.
He kept kissing right about right where you wanted him. He kept kiss around your pussy which made you let out breathy whimpers.
He put his hand right above your pussy and began to draw a figure eights on your clit. That action made you whine, he was doing it incredibly slow.
“I’m going to fuck you so hard you’re going to forget that guys name,” Stefan growled as he felt how wet you were. You whimpered as he started to go faster.
He dragged his finger to your entrance and thrusted his finger into your pussy. You let out a loud moan and arched your back as his fingers curled to your g spot. It seemed that everyone must of left because you couldn’t hear anyone. Damon probably kicked them out.
Stefan let out an amused chuckle at your reaction.
He brought his face closer to your pussy and started to lick at your clit which made you let out a strangled moan. Somehow you got your bra undone to leave you completely naked.
You put your hand on your belly to stop yourself from tugging on his hair.
He used his other hand to put your hand in his hair jestering for you to tug.
He eventually wrapped his lips around your clit which made you tug on his hair and let out many moans out of your mouth.
You could feel a tightness in your stomach and you could feel it about to snap.
He kept fingering while adding a second finger while keeping his lips around clit and only came up for breath.
As you were about to cum Stefan removed his hands and his mouth from your pussy.
You looked up at him with a surprised look on your face. “What the fuck,” You blurted out.
“Don’t worry princess you’ll get to cum soon enough,” Stefan promised with a smile. “Bend over and spread your legs,” He ordered you basically.
“What if I don’t want to,” You decided to tease him.
“Well if you want to cum you better get on your hands and knees now,” He replied calmly which surprised. He was so calm and demanding at the same time.
You decided not to push him any further and got on your hands and knees. You leant your arms in his pillow trying to get more comfortable.
You heard Stefan unbuckle his jeans and pulled his pants and boxers down. Stefan than came behind you and started to kiss your neck. You could feel how hard and big he was for you.
“Do you want to cum,” He asked you a question while moving his dick up and down your pussy coating his tip with you juices. He was trying really hard to not just to point into you.
“Yes please,” You whimpered as you felt his tip circle your sensitive clit.
“Don’t worry soon you will,” Stefan promised you.
He pushed his dick into you and you let out a moan at the size of him. He began to thrust slowly trying to get you used to it.
“Faster,” You moan feeling yourself build up slowly.
He let out a small chuckle before thrusting into you faster than before.
You could feel him touch your g spot which made you moan loud. You didn’t really want to be loud just in case Damon was here but you didn’t care about Damon in this moment.
He wrapped his arm around your waist and started to rub your clit in hard and slow circles. While you were moaning loud, Stefan was letting out tiny grunts in your ear feeling his climax approaching as well.
“Stefan I’m about to cum,” You whined tightening yourself around more than before which made him groan in your ear. He started to go faster on your clit.
“Cum now,” Stefan demanded and then you let go. The rope in your stomach snapped and you let out moans while you cummed around him. You felt him let his load into you. You were thankful he was a vampire since you didn’t want to get pregnant.
He removed himself from on top of you while you laid in your back. You came closer to him and laid your head in your chest.
He pulled his blanket over the both of you, “Are you alright I didn’t go to hard on you did I.”
“Nope it felt amazing,” You purred looking up at with a smirk.
“That’s good to hear,” He smiled down at you while kissing your forehead.
“You don’t want me to leave do you,” You ask looking up at him.
“No I want you to stay.”
