Blushing Game
(Mystreet boys x reader)
How long does it take to make them blush?
Garroth
- bro folds almost immediately lmao
- He definitely tries!! After all, he was used to putting on a face in front of others back in O’Khasis. Surely this wouldn’t be too different
- But there’s no hiding things from you
- All it takes is one sweet nickname for him to start melting
Dante
- He… also tries
- He’s definitely more competitive than Garroth. A few of your first few flirts are only met with smug smiles and comebacks
- It only takes a minute or so for all the compliments to finally get to him
- He looks away as he tries to hide his red face from you
Laurance
- for a moment, you thought this man was nearly unbreakable
- Nearly all of your flirts end with him shaking his head and smiling back at you
- He tells you “try harder, love” and “aww you can do better than that”
- If anything, you’re the one that starts getting flustered
- You start to lean closer, whispering in his ear
- You tell him you love him, how much he means to you, how you can’t imagine loving anyone else
- The closeness, along with how sincere you are, is what finally gets to him
- He curses under his breath as he leans his forehead on your shoulder
- He mutters that he loves you too, just loud enough for only you to hear

“But Kris, if I wanted to watch Anim vs. with all the different series how should I even go about it??”
It largely depends on the topics and cast you’re interested in seeing. The show is split into three subseries as well as the occasional standalone episode/miniseries: Animator vs. Animation (the original created in 2006-7 by Alan Becker alone), Animation vs. Minecraft (the longest and most popular, shorts stemming off a standalone from 2015), and Animation vs. Education (the newest from 2023, visualizing high-level STEM concepts)
Personally, I think core AvA is required reading for anyone who has appreciation for past eras of the internet, UI, or principles and genres of animation. AvM and AvE are equal in quality but honestly you won’t appreciate them as much if you aren’t familiar with the topics they cover. Alan and his team do try to visually introduce things step by step, though, so you can at least get a general idea of what you’re looking at
Besides that, core AvA specifically follows the Hollow-Heads, hand-drawn stick figures created by the Animator, “noogai”/Alan. In particular you have The Chosen One (shortened to Chosen, Cho or TCO) and The Second Coming (aka Second, Sec, TSC or Orange). TSC is the de facto main character and the only one appearing in all three series, while TCO and the Animator are exclusive to the original.
Tumblr media
The SticksFight squad - the four sticks originating from sticksfight.com and named after their colors - have developed distinct personalities as the main cast of AvM, but only take a collective side role in main AvA (Yellow has a slightly larger role than the others). Here’s a summary of their individual personalities so you know what to look for in their smaller appearances
Red - Impulsive and energetic, always the first to jump into action and with a soft heart for creatures and beasties. He’s a little simple when it comes to technical things, but excels with reading the people around him, then building off of their quirks. Since the rest of the group babies him a bit, he puts in extra physical work to prove he can hold his own. Red also tends to play around with new or out-of-the-box solutions - knowledge that extends to his pranks. Most ready to fight with his fists or use heavy-hitters like maces and clubs. (Good intro/focus eps: The Rediscovery, Texture Pack, Monster School, The Prank)
Blue - A mellow fellow! Blue is one with nature and focuses on farming, cooking, and potionology. Due to her pacifistic tendencies, Blue prefers to reason things out or find other solutions rather than fighting, but will throw herself into the face of danger for others. Otherwise she takes up ranged weapons like guns and bows. She’s detail- and aesthetic-oriented as well as graceful, but doesn’t often step outside what she knows. A bit of an addiction to nether wart, which is somewhere between an unusual snack and a drug. (Good intro/focus eps: Potions, The Piglin War, The Chef, Blue’s New Superpower)
Yellow - She loves more than anything to get down to the root of things, and that makes her the group’s engineer! …And a bit of a troublemaker, paying more attention to the thrill of a discovery than the consequences. Yellow tries to find fairness and justice for friend and foe alike. While they have a reliable, supportive demeanor, they’re also very peppy, excitable and tough with how they stand strong in dire situations. Often her fighting style takes place behind the scenes, using things like explosives or a command-casting staff. (Good intro/focus eps: The Roller Coaster, Command Blocks, Lucky Blocks, AvArcade Games)
Green - Originally the weakest on the team, but has since come into his own after a lot of reflex training (read: getting tossed around). Green has great adaptability to learning new techniques and getting creative, particularly with styles of music and architecture. He loves the spotlight and usually competes with the others or takes the chance to show off; however, he also cares deeply about welcoming in those he meets. Dashes and zips around all the time during battle, usually via fishing rod-grappling hook. (Good intro/focus eps: AvYouTube, Note Blocks, PvP, The Dolphin Kingdom)
Tumblr media
If you’re just gonna watch the REQUIRED ones this is what I recommend:
AvA s1 (1-4, previously I-IV)
AvMinecraft (original)
AvYouTube
AvA s2 (5-8, previously “shorts” combining into V)
AvMath
AvA s3 (9-ongoing)
That way you get the introduction of both subseries, with how each establishes the cast/direction, as well as one standalone. I put vs. YT here since it best fits the theme imo but you could go with vs. Pokémon or vs. Arcade Games if you prefer
If you’re willing to take on AvM/the rest of the series this is pretty much the order of the timeline:
AvA s1
AvM (original)
AvYouTube
AvM shorts s1 (1-14)
AvLeague of Legends (required for an AvM character’s development)
AvM shorts s2 (15-19)
AvA s2
Other standalones (Blue’s New Superpower + vs. ___)
AvM shorts s3 (20-30)
AvE (ongoing)
AvA s3 (ongoing)
AvM shorts s4 (ongoing)
Influencer Arc (1-3 + some interactive videos on the Greenzilla4 channel)
Or just follow my playlist!!!

Watching tumblr blow up about Hermitcraft and other Minecraft YouTube series is honestly so entertaining
Especially as someone whose only knowledge of this topic comes from the fact that I got a wild life smp video randomly recommended to me on YouTube last week
Like I watched it and was like “man that was highly entertaining and I recognize a bunch of these names, it seems popular I wonder what people are saying about it online”
Only to log in to Tumblr.com and be flavor blasted by insane amounts of lore
Like I am so confused but I like looking at art and everyone is super talented. It’s like being lost in a beautiful flower meadow but everyone around you are losing their minds and talking about poppies and lilacs and season? Also the Watchers??? What ever those are. I have no idea and no time to watch like 18 seasons of content but I’m definitely having a good time

orange with a diamond sword.
rage.
shiny blue tip towards green's neck
where he lies knocked down in the grass.
orange takes perfect care of this sword - it's his best. even a brush of the tip cuts.
all see him, and remember
and flinch.
orange raises his sword over his head.
it would be a killshot.
the rest are too shocked, angry, worried by how angry, stalled by cognitive dissonance to act.
the blade falls.
he stabs the grass, deep through the roots and soil and stones below.
orange storms off, leaving his best sword behind.
red sees.
remembers.
follows him.
blue is frozen down in the flowers by the pool.
yellow gathers blue. his scattered pieces, so to speak, come back together briefly from her coaxing.
green, trying to salvage it, approaches them.
laughs- wrong- jittery, measuring in his mind the distance orange's sword was from his neck... less than a short blade of grass
(tasted horrible)
but the show, the show, the show must go on.
he smiles, opens his arms wide with bravado.
"it was just a-!"
"get back," blue barks.
he's angry, but it's wrong.
he's angry and something else, something which rises and intensifies and sharpens the details as much as it swirls them.
it's just green, green and his insensitive gags, and a nice cherry forest under the sun.
it feels too warm, too bright, too dangerous.
"but," green approaches.
blue backs up.
green has less of blue's trust than that zombified hoglin.
yellow steers blue away, glaring at green.
"just LEAVE IT," she says. less loud than the others, but the most stern.
green wilts, alone in the clearing.
"we need a break."
red finds orange hiding behind a cherry trunk a few minutes away, trying not to mutilate too many flowers.
upon eye-contact,
they remember their own thing... in the desert. the lush caves. it got bad before. good on him that he left to cool down.
red is twitchy, too. can't unflatten the cat ears, so frustrated.
what to do?
red offers a duel.
orange accepts.
1. normal duel?
or
2. cat duel? lol.
mostly unserious from the beginning, they crouch to all fours and leap and swipe at each other. tussle and roll and work up to that genuine, playful competitiveness.
it always devolves into tickling. red gets orange to laugh. orange retaliates by scratching red under the chin. this instantly paralyses him. /pos
that was fun, and red is happy now
but...
orange wishes it was this easy with green.
he huffs sadly. still furious!! mostly sad.
orange tries to get up and do something.
red, purring, pins him to the ground for a snuggle.
orange struggles.
red deliberately-accidentally kicks him in the head while readjusting.
so instead of jumping into some fool plan
they get comfortable
and talk.
red is a little better at hiding it... (or suppressing it...) but he wishes it was that easy for green too.
if you try to hold green back,
he might just drag you through the mud with him.
blue is more fragile.
he never liked pranks, much less...
he can't even think about it. everything's fuzzy. focusing his eyes makes him more dizzy.
the pink looks darker, swims together into a uniform texture, red red red and the trunks are the same dark purple of the brick and he's falling-
yellow doesn't know what's going on, but she suspects that blue understated back then,
"oh yeah! and i got knocked into the lava pool, haha. wow, that hurt."
so she's approximately half-ready when he stops walking.
she halts too. "you okay?"
blue squeaks.
yellow steps in front of him.
he grabs her shoulders, like she's a ladder dipping into the-
ah. lava. yep, definitely some unresolved trauma there. she spots the bark color of the cherries and nods, theories forming in her mind.
the blue sky sure is a different color.
. .. ...
oh!
Yes!! there are zero cool colors in the nether, except for that dark teal fungus biome.
"hey, blue."
blue is still clinging to her shoulders.
"check out the sky right now."
he trusts her, so even while unsteady, his head jerks up. "whh...?"
slowly, his eyes begin to focus through the clouds.
it's overcast, but only the Minecraft version of cirrus clouds that let the deep blue atmosphere peek through.
it's a perfect Minecraft Overworld day.
the delicate pinks and greens of the trees compliment an endless pool of sky.
this is the opposite of the hard, brutal Nether.
blue's grip on yellow loosens.
she gets worried for a moment- but it's then clear it's because he's started to stand on his own again.
she pats his shoulder - his "good side," he jokes, the one that spent the least time cooking in service of the baby piglin - and leans against him.
he leans back.
a few minutes pass.
"i need to get that checked out," he laughs softly.
"yeah," yellow sighs. "you really do."

I cant express how much I NEED to see Grian on the Imp & Skizz Podcast, I’m not fucking with you I’m going insane. I need fifteen hours of that man to talk and provide long conversation about anything and everything he enjoys doing, how his journey in YouTube was, his stories of Maui and Pearl, his friendships with the Hermits, ANYTHING.
I love learning facts about my favourite CCs, and not in a parasocial or creepy way, I swear, but I love the long streams of his where he just talks to chat while he grinds for diamonds or end busts. A lil chin wag with a friend, fun moments, chill vibes with someone who just enjoys to talk about things. Simple things. He could talk me through how to make a Victoria sponge cake and I’d be content. More Hermitcraft geoguessr with Scar? YES Absolutely. Endbusting with Iskall? Incredible. A 3 minute clip of Grian just being silly during his friends’ streams? Love it.
The mundane moments in a CCs content is like falling asleep to your parents reading you a bedtime story. Like an audiobook.
I hope this doesn’t sound creepy or invasive, because I truly don’t want personal information, I just want to know his thinking process about his builds, the inspirations, how his friends gave him ideas. It’s 2:30 and I’m rambling and I want to sleep.

I would sell my soul to have Dredge but co-op. But like an official game not a mod.
Like I just think it would be so much fun, like each player has their own boat, there's no name tags and more mimic type enemies to lure you in. In game proximity voice chat also sounds super fun, just yelling at each other.
Genuinely sounds like such a fun game to mess with your friends in, e.g. leading enemies to them, ramming their boats maybe more tools in the game which can mess with friends.
Just give me a silly stylized horror fishing co-op game.

hey! i'm still thinking a lot about the minecraft movie and how much potential there is to take the plot in just about any direction - i understand why it would be impractical at best to try and make a film adaptation of the fallen kingdom saga, but that would probably be my favorite...
all this to say: i would love to see other people's takes on potential plots! i think it's actually kind of a lovely way to capture different people's relationships to the game - so reblog this and add (on the post or in the tags) any ideas you feel strongly about? :0
#me personally if i came up with an original plot rather than Music Video Adaptation#i think it could be about some kids with a minecraft server together (maybe only some of them are already familiar with the game) with#several realworld scenes in live action and !!!ANIMATED!!! scenes taking place on the server (maybe several different styles! to represent#mods or their different playstyles or just a gag about resource packs or whatever! but that's very self indulgent) and the live action#real world scenes would have them Uncovering Mysteries of some sort that tie into Strange Mishaps taking place on their server#magic stuff like the villager npcs coming to life! that sort of thing! :)#something something they have to Save The World by saving their minecraft server from a threat (ender dragon army? herobrine? Corruption™?)#and the epilogue is like... they've defeated the threats and keep playing happily in their server with the npcs (villagers + a pet mob) and#figure out how to transfer them to new worlds so they get to keep doing something new but never have to give up eachother or what they shar#several cameo roles by people like joehills if possible#minecraft#mineblr#minecraft movie#the minecraft movie#...also i think them playing on hypixel or something for a training montage would be really cute#fool.txt#ALSO. ive seen some people suggest stop motion (banger) or MCSM style (banger) or straight up old minecraft music video animations (banger)#but my favorite by far to picture is something that takes more inspiration from the spiderverse movies / the new tmnt movie / mitchells vs#the machines But Squares And With Pixel Textures#i think it would be pretty...#also i want the end poem's themes as a plot point honest to god#maybe it plays over the epilogue?#or during the climax as they Save The Game™#...anyways

i have never and will never use rails and minecarts in minecraft because they are just so inefficient and expensive for such little gain. theyre incredibly slow unless you use a rare and expensive material thats difficult to find and much more so get in large amounts to make a small number of powered rails that you have to place pretty close to one another if you want to reach an actually useful speed, and if youre making a rail system that small whats the point you can just walk or run there. there are no other relevant blocks for rails except detectors. no bumpers or launchers or stations or anything, very little utility outside of complicated redstone machines for furnace, hopper and chest minecarts that most players arent concerned with. i think theyre a horribly underdeveloped feature but also one that has SO MUCH potential. here's what i would do to make this feature better and how i actually would use it if it was that way.
i would remove the need for powered rails to go at any useful speed. you could travel in the minecart at the speed you can with a powered rail in the game now just by holding the direction you wanna go. powered rails are still there, and you can use them to go even faster if you want. they're like a speed upgrade rather than a necessity for travel. secondly, you dont have to keep holding down the button to keep moving, the minecart wont lose speed as it goes unless it hits a powered rail, where it will decrease in speed similarly to how it does in the base game, but only down to normal speed and not to a snail pace or complete stop. if you push a minecart (without being in it) it will slow down quickly to a stop, because itd be pretty annoying watching it run away on you if you accidentally push it. but also that already happens when you have to place powered rails down every 10 blocks and if the minecart touches them it just runs away on you. in my ideal update, to push a minecart down a track without losing speed, you can either get in it and get out of it when you reach speed, or you can use a powered rail to get it going. ADDITIONALLY, powered rails just act like normal rails when inactive instead of stopping entirely. if you want a rail that automatically stops the minecart, keep reading cause i have a replacement for this usage.
i would allow diagonal rails to exist, including on slopes. this is something i wish for other blocks that connect to each other in minecraft too, like fences, walls, iron bars etc. the zigzagging pattern is very ugly in most use cases and requires you to use double the materials. this would also be useful for setting up proper train stations where a train can be pulled to the side of the track either to let another train pass or to be filled with passengers/items.
i would allow multiple rails to connect to one another, letting you have multiple paths. a redstone activated directional rail could control which path you go on while in a minecart, while the default is just continuing straight.
I would add rail signals with an associate redstone connected rail that can decide when a minecart is allowed to pass or be stopped, or set a precise timer that counts down before making a redstone signal. you can set it to repeat or to only start its timer when receiving a redstone signal. would this remove the need for other forms of redstone timers? yes because i think its such a simple thing that requires incredibly complicated setups to do precisely that are frankly unnecessary to the average player and would allow them to make redstone more useful to them without having to spend nearly as much time and energy fine tuning multiple different complicated timer setups. you can still use the complicated timers if you want. no one is stopping you. anyways, this would let you automate trains a lot easier or automate a round trip rail system with consistent schedules, or to send a minecart back to you after sending it away.
Minecarts will have an updated model with a clear front side and a back side. you can flip directions whenever you want if youre riding in it, its mostly just an aesthetic change, but ive run into situations where if i stop a minecart on an inactive powered rail and activate it again, it will start going back in the direction it came from rather than continuing forwards and that is REALLY ANNOYING. i get that thats useful for sending a minecart back and forth but my bumpers would solve that issue while the clear front/back side fixes the one i mentioned above at the same time, as well as just making it more predictable and visually clear.
I would also aesthetically change the chest minecart cause i think it looks really ugly, i would prefer the chest minecart to show the minecart filled up with the sprites of the items that are inside it. i think that would be way cuter than just having a big wooden chest inside a metal minecart.
finally have actual linkages to tie minecarts together. it can just be a lead idc.
maybe a minecart that can be filled with rails that it automatically places as it goes? idk about this one
another maybe is that detector rails could be configured to only activate one-way.
a third maybe is having "lazy rails" that let the minecart travel at the speeds that they do now, so people who would inevitably complain about these changes ruining their finetuned overly-complex redstone rail machines could have something to use.
And finally i would have a bumper rail that can bounce back a minecart at half its speed, or its full speed with no loss if powered with redstone.
so i would definitely use rails and minecarts WAY more if these features were in place, they would be actually efficient for long and short distance travel, more versatile and less rigid in how you can actually place them, you can use redstone and train linkages to create more complicated railway setups if you want, it would all LOOK better, and it could actually be useful for putting in mineshafts. as it stands now, you have to put powered rails all over the place (a full chest minecart can only move 16 blocks per single powered rail boost! and it will slow down heavily before reaching the next too), fill up your stupid looking chest minecart and push it down where you then have to have a big redstone setup to automatically send the cart back, timed with a redstone timer (either a massive repeater one or a smarter comparator/observer one) so that the cart has time to unload into the hopper below it before being sent off again where it can make its way back to you.
in my update, you can fill the (good looking) chest minecart and use a single powered rail to push it where it will continue to the end (slowly, but at a far more consistent and as a baseline FASTER pace) where it will reach a detector rail connected to a rail signal which will start its timer, stopping the minecart. the cart will unload into the hopper, the timer will finish, sending the minecart into a powered bumper rail on the end where it will flip directions and be sent back, it will pass through the rail signal (because the detector block is on the other side) as if it were a normal rail, and come all the way back to me.
