of course part 2
in which the 118 gets an eyeful of tommy and has the same reaction we've all been having. "oh, look at you. you're a mess." part 1 is here.
(tw: heart problems, hospitalization)
~
Tommy blinks back to life.
"Hey there." Howie's eyes widen as he raises his hands. "Now, Tommy. Be cool, okay? Find your zen." He frowns, letting his hands drop as an alarm sounds. "So much for that."
A strike team invades the room, armed with questions, instruments, and drugs. He waits them out, not asking until he and Howie are alone again. "Evan?"
"Is three floors down getting surgery on his shoulder. He's okay."
"Good." He can't tell if it's still hard to catch his breath, or if he's just stuck in the memory. "Good." He frowns at all the leads and monitors. This feels excessive.
"Your heart was basically in a Houdini trap, buddy. You're lucky you're still here."
"Luck shouldn't take all the credit." Tommy closes his eyes. "Was it you?"
"No, this time you have the 133 to thank for your continued existence."
Tommy hums gratefully. "No coming back from a double debt. Would've had to... steal a kid for you or something."
"In case it comes up in the future, Tommy, I'm doing just fine on the offspring front, okay? No new kids needed."
There's a shade of self satisfaction in Howie's laughter that seems out-sized for a father of one, but Tommy passes out before he can ask.
Hen is in the chair the next time he wakes. "It's quieter up here," she says, and he snorts. The cardiac unit sounds like a Fourth of July picnic at a smoke detector factory.
"Your Evan is being a bear," she concedes. "They just drained a hematoma in his hip and he's pissed they won't let him out of bed for a while. Eddie's busy sitting on him."
Not mine, Tommy doesn't say. Never was.
"I missed Eddie," he says, wistfully. He doesn't have it in him to lie right now, and that is a truth he doesn't think he'll lose anything for sharing.
Hen gives him a long, appraising look. "You fascinate me," she says. She's well aware of how terrifying she can be, but it's still embarrassing when the fucking alarm goes off again.
Right before Seal Team Six ascends, Hen reaches over and squeezes his hand.

Older (Dean Winchester)
Tumblr media
Description: Y/N has a crush on Dean but they have a 20 year age gap. How does Dean react when she finally tells him?
Warning: Smut, Age Gap
Word Count: 1,743k
Y/N watched Dean as he washed Baby. His big muscular arms on display with the tight white shirt that had dirt on it. Baby was soapy and wet as Dean wiped her down. Y/N was trying not to drool as he went in circular motions cleaning the car. She was too into the scene in front of her; she didn’t notice Sam coming up to her side. “Stare any longer he might just notice your obvious crush on him.” He said to me, making her snap out of it. She turned towards him and rolled her eyes. He chuckled and handed her a beer. She took it from him and took a drink. “Ya think maybe he’s too old for you.” He said. Y/N pushed him and they both laughed. She sighed and looked at Dean again. He was pouring water on the soapy car. She sighed and got up  from her spot and walked into the house. She needed a cold shower to erase the dirty thoughts from her mind.
It was days later that she’d be staring at the older man as he made breakfast. They had just come back from a hunt and Y/N was hungry so Dean offered to cook for her. Sam was getting some sleep but the other two were wide awake. “How do you like your eggs?” He asked her as he got them out of the fridge. “Over easy.” She said and he cracked the two eggs on the pan. She watched as he put the bread in the toaster. “You really didn’t have to make me anything.” She said as Dean put the eggs on the plate. “But I wanted to. You deserve it putting up with us.” She laughed as he set the eggs and toast in front of her. She thanked him. “Well I like putting up with you guys.” She said. He got his plate and sat across from her. “What, you got a crush on one of us?” He joked but she didn’t laugh. “Nah we’re probably too old for you anyway.” He said. She stared at him without saying anything. She shook her head and went back to eating her food. “Yeah totally.” She said.
She woke up 7 hours later in bed and yawned. She remembered the cringey things Dean asked her this morning and she sighed. She thought for a second when he asked her that she was caught. Luckily Dean was oblivious. She got out of bed and stretched. She walked out of her room and noticed Dean at the table on the computer. “Where’s Sam?” She asked. “Grocery Shopping.” He said and nodded and sat down across from him. He looked up from the computer at her. “So back to early convo you probably like Jack don’t you?” He asked. She looked at him confused. “No, not the antichrist.” She laughed. “Do you even like anybody?” He asked. “Dean, can we not talk about this?” She asked not wanting to expose herself. “Yeah sure.” He said and went back to research. The silence now, awkward and unwanted.
Why was Dean so curious about who she had feelings for or if she did? She honestly thought that Dean was too old for her but that’s how she liked it. They were eating dinner and she had a glass of wine. Dean sat across from her and Sam sat next to Dean. Jack and Cas sat next to her. Everyone was in a conversation except her. She never talked much while eating. She sometimes butted in with Jack and Cas but other than that kept quiet. Dean noticed her silence and wondered if it was about his question earlier. The last thing he wanted to do was make her uncomfortable. After dinner was over she helped him clean up.
She didn’t say anything to him so he figured he thought correct. “I’m sorry about the question earlier. I didn’t mean to make you uncomfortable.” He said. She looked at him. “You didn’t.” She said and poured herself some more wine. “If I did I would completely understand-” “Dean.” She interrupted him. He looked over at her and she was holding the wine and her upper body on the table a little. Her boobs are perfectly on display. “What are you-” She took a sip of wine and smirked. “I told myself I’d never fuck anyone old enough to be my dad.” She states. He stares at her in shock. She stood up and walked closer to him. “That was until I met you.” She said seductively. “Wait you like me?” He asked her confused but kinda turned on.
She nodded like it was the most obvious thing in the world. “And before you give me any of that age bullshit. I’m 22 i’m an adult.” He stared at her as her hands ran over his chest. “You have no idea what you do to me Dean.” She says and her hands lower themselves to the bottom of his shirt. She tugs on it and he looks down seeing what she was doing. “Y/N are you sure?” He asked her. She looked up at him with lustful eyes. “Are you sure Dean? Think you can handle me, old man?” He chuckled and picked her up and threw her over his shoulder. She laughed as he took her to his room. He threw her on the bed and smirked. “I’m 42 sweetheart not 72.” He said and took off his shirt revealing his amazing body. She was almost drooling at the sight. He crawled onto the bed and hovered over her.
She wrapped her arms around his neck and brought him down in a kiss. He moved his lips against hers as his hands traveled her body. He lifts her tank top up a bit and she pulls away from the kiss. She sits up and removes it showing her white bra. He looks down at her boobs and cups them. “Wow you’re so sexy.” He says and moves his hands to her back. He unclips the bra and she lets it fall freeing her boobs. He smirks at the sight and leans down to put one of her nipples in his mouth. She gasps his name and her hands go to his head as he licks and sucks. Her hands moved to his jeans and she cupped his growing erection. He moans against her nipple. “Dean take these off.” She breathes out. He pulls away from her nipple and gets up to remove his jeans. He pulls them down along with his boxers. She moves herself to the end of the bed and pulls him closer to her. “I didn’t know if I want you in my mouth or inside of me.” She says and he chuckles. Her eyes staring at his long hard cock. “Both would be ideal but right now I really need to be inside of you.” He tells her and pushes her back on the bed.
She smiles as he pulls down her panties. He gets back on her and kisses her again. She runs her hands up and down his muscular back. He pulls away and sighs into her mouth as he lines himself up with her entrance. He pushes in slowly and she gives a sharp gasp. “Are you okay?” He asked. She nods. He pushes in deeper and her noises fill his ear. She hadn’t had sex with many people and certainly not with a guy this big before. Once he was in her all the way he let her adjust to him. They stare at each other as she adjusts to him. He got lost in her eyes not believing that this was happening right now. She pulled him out of his thoughts when she thrusted up. She moaned as the pain was gone and she was full of pleasure. He started moving his hips and she let out little moans. Her eyes closed and her mouth opened. He didn’t let his eyes close as he watched her facial expressions. He groaned as her hips started matching his. She grabs his neck and moans his name. “You’re so fucking beautiful.” He breathes out and she opens her eyes to look at him. “You feel so good inside of me.” She whimpers. He leans down and starts kissing her neck. She gasped and pulled him closer if that was possible. “Dean, go faster.” She begged and he moved as fast as he could. His hips pounding into her hard and fast making the bed screech. His lips left marks on her neck. Neither of them cared at the moment.
He pulled out of her some and angled his hips. He slammed back in her and hit her g spot making her scream. He covered her mouth with his hand. “Gotta remember sweetheart we aren’t the only ones here.” He groans in her ear. She tried to keep her sounds to a minimum but with him pounding at her g spot that didn’t work. “Dean, you feel too good.” She mumbles in his hand. He nods. “Fuck I know baby. You feel amazing.” He moans. She felt herself getting closer and closer to the edge. He was twitching inside of her signaling that he was close too. “Baby I'm close.” She moaned and he groaned out a me too. She gasped out feeling him fill her up which triggered her orgasm. Her eyes rolled into the back of her head as her orgasm hit her. She bit her lip trying to hold back the loud noises that threatened to spill from her. Her hips moved up as she rode out her high. Dean watched her and almost became hard again. Her hips slowed and she opened her eyes seeing Dean already looking at her. “That was hot.” He smirked. She rolled her eyes. “Yeah well thanks to you.” She smirked back. He pulled out of her causing her to moan.
He got up and went to the bathroom and got a wet towel. He came back and cleaned her and him up. “Such a gentleman.” She teased. He laughed and threw the towel in the laundry bin. He collapsed next to her and yawned. “Tired old man?” He turned to look at her. “Baby I could go another 5 rounds.” He said. She turned towards him and smirked. “Prove it.” She said and he smirked. Sam couldn’t sleep that night but Dean and Y/N weren’t complaining.

𖤐 ִֶָ 𓂃 STRAY KIDS : SMILING WEIRD AT THEM UNTIL THEY NOTICE
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
genre: fluff, crack, pranks
pairing: skz x reader
bringing the tiktok pranks back bcs i need funny headcanon ideas to write 😁🙏🏻
some member's parts might be a bit shorter than the rest bcs i wrote some while being sugar high at 2:50 in the morning so pls excuse that
leave comments, reblog, and feedbacks pls <3
𖤐 CHAN : —
is 70% concerned 30% holding his laugh
you approached him and started a normal conversation on a very normal thursday afternoon so he thought everything was nice and ok in the house and with you???
he guesses not, a minute or two into the talk 😟
bcs why are you smiling at him in a way that would summon his sleep paralysis demon at night???
he already sleeps so less now he fears he will have to sleep even less.
is too worried to say anything about it because what if this is actually your true smile and you’re just getting comfortable around him and he hurts your feelings by making a comment about it?
right????
but he’s also starting to get scared because wHAT HAPPENED TO HIS BABY YOU’VE NEVER DONE THIS BEFORE 😭😭 WHAT WENT WRONG ⁉️
PLS BRING THEM BACK 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
doesn’t say anything but gets so tensed during the convo and gives you this look that has you breaking character shortly after, bcs you burst out laughing and going back to that cute big smile he was used to and the one he adored.
(sorry, writer-break-in: now if anyone comments abt how they ugly laugh, i’m gonna smash my guitar on your head. chris says that’s cute, so it’s cute. you don’t get a say.)
then he’s like “oh ☺️ that’s it. here they are <3”
thinks about it when he lays in his bed at night tho
might make him rethink everything and consider your health (mental & physical) for a couple days 😕👎🏻
𖤐 MINHO : —
right, ok. so, he notices it so quick
this man is VERYYY very very observant and he knows you like the back of his hand
so the moment you flash your worst smile as he’s in the midst of talking, taking just the chance when he looked to the side for a sec—
he catches it from his peripheral vision, snaps his head at you and he goes 🤨⁉️ (15% concerned 85% judging)
stares at you silently for a while after that, trying to figure you out
🧍🏻😾❓️ (yes.)
when you act completely normal and ask him why he stopped, telling him to continue and all that, he cautiously goes back to saying what he had been talking about
but then you pull your shit again and he catches it this time too right away
(bcs he’s always looking at you when he’s talking. he looks at you when you’re talking too. he looks at you. he just loves looking at you, that’s honestly it. bro is just an eye-contact and make their knees weak type of person)
and he knows he isn’t high
looks straight at you and goes — “what’s wrong with this one... 😐”
and you’re all like “what??? 😠🦿🦿 what’s wrong w me???” bcs how dare he say that in that tone
“why are u making yourself look like that plushie whose face doongie scratched up last week”
LMAOOOO 😭😭😭 SAVE YOURSELF
so you’re throwing hands now (& terribly failing) and this is the only part of your stupid prank that minho is finding fun
𖤐 CHANGBIN : —
HELP.
doesn’t know if he should laugh or cry someone pls take him away from you 🙁🙏🏻
he’s just casually telling you about this sick rap that he came up with yesterday night in the studio
and you’re nodding and laughing, and he turns to focus on you more and finds you like: 😁 i mean 👹???
and the lOOK THAT PASSES THROUGH HIS EYES AND THE WAY HIS SMILE DROPS SO SLOWLY
WITH AN EYE TWITCH TOO
LORD HELP ME
no HELP SEO CHANGBIN ACTUALLY
bro freezes but then he tries to play it chill, chuckling and being like “right... 😄☝🏻 hahah hahahahah so i was saying... ”
but you keep doing it and he can’t ignore it anymore 😔
“...baby what’s wrong? do you feel sick?” and that too in such a scared voice yOU CAN'T KEEP UP THE ACT ANYMORE
once you tell him it’s a prank, relief washes over him like cold water on a scorching hot summer day and he laughs along with you
might haunt him when he’s alone in his studio at midnight tho
𖤐 HYUNJIN : —
judges you.
no i’m not even gonna try to be funny first
HE JUDGES 👨‍⚖️
you do it and he instantly goes “😦😣 what the fuck”
and you’re like “what? what happened?”
and he doesn’t even know what to say
then he switches up just as quickly and starts yapping again
but you do it again too
and he’s so fed up he goes “dude tf wrong w u 🙄”
and when you keep doing it, he starts iMITATING YOU TO MOCK YOU😭😭
now you’re both just flaring your teeth and gums at each other while cackling in between too, and anyone watching would’ve started praying honestly
later that day, after finding out it was a prank he’s just thinking... why is my partner like this... 😟
he loves u tho <3
𖤐 JISUNG : —
honestly bro...
he finds you adorable :(
like, you guys are casually talking one evening
and he’s telling you about this new anime he watched recently, that almost made him cry
and he’s telling you the amazing sad plot and all, and out of nowhere you just 😁
first he’s really caught off guard bcs... girl (gn!) what 😟 i said??? i almost???? CRIED??? HEARTBREAK?????
but then he just looks at you as you keep up w the goofiness when he speaks again, and he thinks to himself
:(“i love this idiot so much even tho i do feel half irritated and offended right now”
bcs even if you’re pulling your ugliest smile rn, he loves that sparkle in your eyes as you stifle a laugh back and the way almost break character everytime you make eye contact with him
sorry guys this is getting soft but
jisung just loves you very much ☹️☹️☹️
prank is all forgotten, you are just two young people in love <3
𖤐 FELIX : —
i would say he already knows what the trend is, but that’s really boring so let’s pretend that he’s actually getting fooled here.
the moment he sees u doing it, that epic felix thing happens again— where his smile gradually just drops and he has that :0 face in the funniest way
he isn’t sure if he should speak bcs what if that unleashes more of that demon in u 😓
he’s torn between two things actually: should he hug you and try to squish the demonic smile out of you, or should be just stay away and give u your space until ur okay again
bcs he isn’t sure about how fine you are with the way you’re smiling at him right now
he might just be like:
“haha hahahahah hahahah ok we laughed now can we pls have my partner and their sweet smile back 🙁”
genuinely doesn’t know what to do
half of him is scared, half finds you very cute, some other bits are thinking of ways to get back on a a prank of his lololololz
he decides to continue speaking bcs maybe you’ll get distracted by the talk and come back to him normally again
doesn’t happen. so now he’s just there and thinking abt how to fix u 😞🙏🏻
𖤐 SEUNGMIN : —
you hate him
you hate him so bad
he doesn’t give you any reaction AT ALL 😐👎🏻
you start off gentle at first, right, like doing it when he wasn’t looking and then gradually more intensely and so he could clearly see
but nothing. no weird looks. no comments. no judgement.
NOTHING AT ALL?!^#^*@#,
at some point you get all up in his face and you’re like 😁😁😁👹😁😁😁👹😁😁❓️❓️❓️
and mf just keeps talking like nothing is wrong or off
it gets you more and more frustrated with each passing second but man, if you’d put that irritation aside and looked more closely into his facial expressions,
you would’ve seen the way the corner of his mouth lifted in the slightest and that glint of mischief in his eye
but you don’t 🙄
when you finally give up and go “babe why aren’t you asking me why i’m smiling weird??? 😕”
he... he says... he’s like—
“huh? but don’t you always smile like that?”
damn y/n 😥💔 that’s how it was huh
you’re abt to poke his eyeballs out and then shit tears yourself
jk dw tho he’s just teasing you
he stays with felix enough to know about these ideas
and from how you’ve done multiple pranks on him before, everytime you do something weird or out of place now, he just assumes you’re onto some prank
𖤐 JEONGIN : —
HE GETS SCARED PLS DONT😭
NO LIKE he actually starts taking it in all the wrong ways
when he sees you smiling like that.. there’s this STORM of emotions that starts cooking up inside him 😭
“are they ok” “are they mad at me and trying to play it off” “is this a trick move” “is this a prank and if so how should i react that it would make me seem cool and—”
but then... SUDDENLY
he suddenly remembers this piece of information he read on the internet LONG time back, like, AGES ago !! that said like
if someone is having a stroke or about to, their smile will be crooked / really weird and off/abnormal
....
no way... right ?
HIS BABY 😟😕🥺🥺😭😭😭 (emojis are satire im not—)
“...baby 😨😰 i think... i think you’re about to have a stroke 😣 or ARE YOU HAVING IT ALREADY 😰😢😢 HAS IT STARTED😭⁉️”
now ur not sure if u should stop or continue and whether u should laugh, cry or bonk him in the head
but he’s just a jeongin 🙁🎀

The bus stop was a battleground for the Enha and Fifty-forty volleyball teams, though it seemed the conflict was more about claiming over the street than any real animosity. The two schools, only a short distance apart, could have easily shared the cramped space and the same bus, but instead, they faced off across the street, each side glaring at the other.
On one side stood the Enha students in their black and red uniforms; on the other, the Fifty-forty students in their bright yellow and white. In the middle of this colorful divide, two students sat close together on the sidewalk, a contrast to the tension around them. Kim Sunoo, in his Enha black, leaned his head on Shin M/n's shoulder, who wore the Fifty-forty yellow.
They were the bestfriends despite their schools' rivalry, and of course, everyone hated that. Always going out, studying together, and even leaving matches together after the Fifty-forty team absolutely decimates the Enhas. Sunoo didn't seem to care though. He claims to just be playing for fun but everyone knows he only joined so he could see M/n sweaty up close.
Sunoo was the Enha team's middle blocker, and had a knack for making the least glamorous position look effortless. His sister, however, was not a fan of his mingling with the Fifty-forty crowd, especially after the last night's game.
"Yah, Kim Sunoo!" His sister's voice cut through the tension. Sunoo lifted his head with a start, and M/n's eyes flashed with a brief, he swore he saw a flash of disgust in her coffee-brown eyes.
Turning to M/n with an apologetic pout, Sunoo said, "Sorry, she's got this thing about us hanging around Fifty-forty after... well, last night."
M/n chuckled, placing a comforting hand on Sunoo's thigh. "Don't worry about it. I'll see you tonight at the party."
With a reassuring smile, Sunoo headed towards his sister, who quickly grabbed his arm and pulled him away. M/n dusted off his slacks, exchanging a grin with Wonbin, who had approached.
"I don't get why you hang out with him. Are you pinning him or something?" Wonbin asked, curiosity piqued.
M/n shook his head, a playful smile on his lips. "Oh no, Wonbin. My pin is already stuck deep into someone else." He nodded toward Park Sunghoon, who stood across the street, glaring back with a brooding expression
🏐
The bus ride to the schools was chaotic. Some students had to push up together in the seats and there was endless bickering. One of these days a full blown out brawl is going to happen.
After school, Sunghoon, perched atop a cafeteria table, stared at his phone, figuring out the best way he could tell his teammate they were in a crisis.
caphoon. We need to have a serious convo. Meeting in 5 mins
noonoo. de there soon!!!
heeso. Gimme 10, gotta do something first
caphoon. This is important
heeso. I get that but I can't be there right this moment, Sung
caphoon. Wth is more important?
j. def just saw him and Jake walk in the bathroom together lol
nik. yucky
Sunghoon groaned aloud. Things were a mess with their team. Morale was at an all-time low, and some members were starting to lose interest in volleyball altogether. Some had found distractions in each other, and others just didn't care anymore. Senior year was supposed to be their year to shine, but volleyball wasn't even the focus now. The cracks were starting to show, and it was making Sunghoon anxious.
"Captain~"
Sunghoon whipped his head around to see Jungwon and Sunoo heading into the empty cafeteria, throwing their bags onto a nearby table. Jungwon, always perceptive, immediately noticed the tension in Sunghoon's posture and placed a hand on his shoulder, the gesture both comforting and grounding.
"You alright, Hoon?" Jungwon asked, his voice soft but filled with concern.
Sunghoon took a deep breath and leaned his back onto the table. "I don't know. This team... it's falling apart. I just... I don't know how to fix it." He sighed, rubbing the back of his neck, feeling the weight of responsibility pressing down on him.
Sunoo, now kneeled on top of the table with his hands in his lap next to Sunghoon, head hanging over his own, his usual playful demeanor replaced by something more serious. "Whatever it is don't stress, we got it."
Sunghoon was lost in thought when the sound of approaching footsteps caught his attention. He looked up just as Jay and Niki strolled into the cafeteria, their usual carefree attitudes contrasting with the serious atmosphere. Jay, with his ever-present smirk, tossed a glance toward Sunghoon and gave a quick nod before flopping down onto an empty seat. Niki, a little more worried, followed, but his eyes quickly flickered over to the group, sensing the tension.
"What's going on?" Niki asked, his voice dripping with concern.
Jay tilted his head, eyeing Sunghoon's furrowed brows and the way his fingers drummed on the table. "This isn't gonna be good." He said quietly, his voice uncharacteristically serious.
Sunghoon sighed, his shoulders sagging under the weight of the conversation he'd been avoiding. "People are dropping out, losing focus, doing... other things. We can't even get everyone to show up on time now." He leaned back and looked at his friends, his eyes tired. "We've got a lot to fix, but I'm not sure where to start."
Jay threw his legs up onto the chair, relaxing as he leaned back with an exaggerated sigh. "Sounds like typical senior year shit. People get distracted, forget what matters." He shrugged his shoulders. "We can't let the whole team go down in the shits though. We have a reputation to uphold and a serious ass whooping."
Niki didn't seem to find Jay's usual nonchalance comforting. He narrowed his eyes at Sunghoon. "We will listen if you tell us what we can do."
Sunghoon was about to ease into the momentary relief when the seriousness of the situation hit him once again. He cleared his throat, gathering the attention of the group. "That's not all," he started, his tone more solemn. "We're at risk of being kicked out of the league if we don't find an 8th member soon."
The room went silent at his words. Jungwon's hand paused on Sunghoon's shoulder, and even Jay stopped smirking, the weight of Sunghoon's words settling on the table.
"We need a full roster to keep competing. If we can't get someone on the team before the next match, they'll pull us from the league," Sunghoon explained, his voice low but serious. "That's the reality. If we don't act fast, all of this... all the effort we've put into this year, gone."
The group exchanged glances, a sense of urgency creeping into the air. Niki broke the silence, his usual joking demeanor replaced with determination. "So we find someone. Fast."
Jay leaned forward, his brow furrowing in thought. "We've got options. Maybe we can recruit someone from outside the team?"
Before Sunghoon could respond, the door to the cafeteria swung open, and in walked Jake and Heesung, their appearances anything but typical. Their uniforms were disheveled, hair a mess, and both of them were trying, rather unsuccessfully, to act casual as they walked toward the table.
Hickeys, Heesung's lip gloss all over Jake's face, Jake's fly unzipped. It wasn't hard to tell where they'd just been.
Sunghoon shot them an exasperated look, one eyebrow raised as Heesung tried to smooth his shirt, but the wrinkles from their activities was way too obvious. Jake was the first to speak, though his tone was unusually high-pitched for someone trying to play it cool. "What's going all. Why does everyone look pissed?"
Niki, trying to suppress his grin, shot them a look. "Oh, you know, just a conversation about how you two might be the reason our team is going to shit."
Jake chuckled awkwardly, scratching the back of his neck. "We were just... uh... tutoring."
Sunghoon exhaled through his nose, holding his head in his hands. "I can't believe you two right now." His frustration was evident, but his gaze softened as he met their eyes. "Do you know how close we are to getting kicked out of the league?"
Heesung, looking a little guilty, spoke up, his voice apologetic. "We know, Hoon. We were just... needed a moment to—"
"To fuck?" Sunghoon interrupted, his voice rising just slightly. "I'm trying to figure out how we're gonna make it to nationals and to can't keep your hands to yourself. And a bathroom? Seriously? Have some fucking decorum. Lee Heesung. Whore looks really bad on you."
Jay leaned back in his chair, his grin finally showing as he sung, "Someone needs to get laid..."
Niki lightly shoved Jay and spoke up. "We're on the verge of losing the team if we can't find someone to fill that 8th spot. Hyung, we really can't afford any distractions."
Heesung and Jake exchanged a quick look, the weight of the situation finally setting in. Heesung sighed, his usual cheeky grin faltering. "You're right. We can do better. We'll do better."
Jake straightened up, "We get it now... and we'll do what it takes to help fix this."
Sunghoon gave a sharp nod, his frustration still simmering beneath the surface, but the understanding in his teammates' eyes was enough to cool his temper. "Alright, we need to focus. We're a team, and we're gonna get through this. We find that 8th player, or we find a way to make it work with who we've got. No more distractions."
The group nodded in unison, the weight of their captain's words sinking in. For the first time that afternoon, Sunghoon felt like maybe, just maybe, they were ready to face whatever came next.

Luve5040 FIFITY-FORTY IS 8 STOP PLAYING
Enhadreamin Enhypen could never. I've been saying M/n is a cheater. He targets Sunghoon every game. He's a loser, guys, BLOCK HIS ASS.
🏐
Sunghoon shuffled his foot over a rock, his cherry-colored lips pressed into a pout. He'd been standing outside the event house for a few minutes now, mentally bracing himself.
Parties weren't his scene, especially not a Fifty-Forty party. He'd heard about these events: the PTA's presence for the first hour, then their departure to lounge on graham crackers and pizza. Twenty minutes later, the real party began. That's when the booze flowed, drugs made their rounds, and girls were whisked away upstairs by guys who wanted to hump on the gross, deteriorating couches.
Sunghoon wanted nothing to do with any of that, but he'd promised his team he'd do whatever it took to keep them together. So, he swallowed his discomfort and decided to brave it for the Enha team tonight. He kicked his "purity rock" aside and approached the event house doors, where a few people lounged on the banister.
Taking a deep breath-one, two, three-he walked inside. The moment he entered, his senses were overwhelmed. The air was thick with the stench of cologne and the sound of pop music marred by bleeped-out curse words. With every step, someone shouted his name or patted him on the back.
Stay cool, stay cool, he chanted in his head, forcing himself to relax as he responded with nods and brief greetings
Navigating through the crowd, he made his way to the main ballroom, scanning for someone who wouldn't demand more than a quick hello. Then he saw his teammate Jake and Heesung, the team's outside hitter and setter, respectively. They were also the only openly gay couple in the sports department, and they usually didn't shy away from flaunting it.
But tonight they were separated. They seemed talking about something intense because Heesung's hands flung around as he looked like he was trying to explain something to Jake he didn't really understand.
"Can I talk to you for a moment? Alone?" Heesung's tone was off, but he was quick to see Sunghoon and immediately request to be alone, suggesting something was bothering him. Sunghoon nodded, leading him to a quieter corner as he left Jake to drink a lone. As they walked away, he could feel the weight of the Fifty-Forty students' stares on them.
In the secluded corner, Heesung's usual carefree demeanor had vanished, replaced by a deep, concerned frown. His eyes were grave, and the tension in the air was palpable.
"Okay, what's going on?" Sunghoon asked, his voice barely above a whisper as he leaned in closer.
"There's something seriously wrong with Shin M/n," Heesung said, his tone heavy with urgency.
Sunghoon's head snapped up. "What do you mean?"
"There's a rumor," Heesung explained. "Coach Sian is M/n's father."
"Coach Sian?" Sunghoon asked in disbelief, struggling to process the information.
Heesung nodded. "Yeah. And right now, M/n is puking in the upstairs bathroom but everyone is too chicken shit to help!"
Sunghoon's shock was evident. "I don't understand. It's known M/n doesn't drink, that health detox bullshit. Why... why is he puking and why does the team sound guilty?"
Heesung's expression grew more somber. "They said it was reported Coach Sian spent a lot of money on Fifty-Forty freshman year. Nepo baby crap, I don't know but can you check on him? Jake is too squeamish and those shots are getting to my head."
"Fine."
Now, Sunghoon stood outside the bathroom door, trying to steady his breathing. He pushed it open slowly, the harsh fluorescent light casting a pale glow on the figure slumped near the toilet.
M/n was on his knees, his face pale, sweat clinging to the strands of hair on his forehead as he hunched over, gagging into the porcelain bowl. His ragged breaths filled the room, and Sunghoon could tell this wasn't just from too much alcohol, it was the kind of breakdown that came from something much deeper.
Sunghoon hesitated for a moment, glancing back at the hallway. He didn't like to give someone like M/n the day of light, but he didn't deserve whatever was going on.
"M/n?" Sunghoon finally spoke, crouching down beside him. "Hey, it's Sunghoon. You need some water or something?"
M/n groaned but didn't lift his head. "Don't... don't need help. Go away."
"Yeah, no," Sunghoon replied, his voice firm but calm. He reached for a towel hanging by the sink and ran it under cold water before gently pressing it against M/n's neck. "I'm not leaving you like this."
For a moment, M/n didn't respond, but eventually, his tense shoulders relaxed slightly under Sunghoon's steady presence.
"Why are you even here?" M/n croaked, his voice hoarse.
"Because Heesung and Jake found you like this and thought I'd know what to do," Sunghoon admitted with a small shrug. "And maybe because I'm the captain, and I'm supposed to care about people, even when they're from the other team."
M/n let out a bitter laugh, though it quickly dissolved into a cough. "Captain Sunghoon, the perfect golden boy. You must think I'm pathetic."
Sunghoon frowned, leaning back against the bathroom wall. "I don't think that at all," he said softly. "But I do think you need someone in your corner right now."
M/n finally lifted his head, his tired eyes meeting Sunghoon's in a gaze confused with comfort and terror. Before either of them could say more, the door burst open.
Wonbin stood there, his expression dark as his gaze flicked between M/n and Sunghoon. "What the hell are you doing in here?" he demanded, stepping into the small space.
"Trying to help him," Sunghoon replied, standing up to face him.
Wonbin ignored him, grabbing M/n's arm and yanking him to his feet. "You're coming with me. The team needs to talk to you."
M/n winced but didn't resist, his exhausted body too weak to fight back.
"Wait," Sunghoon said, stepping forward. "He's not in any shape to—"
"This isn't your business," Wonbin snapped, cutting him off. "Stay out of it."
Sunghoon clenched his fists but didn't argue as Wonbin dragged M/n out of the bathroom. He could hear M/n muttering protests, but they quickly faded into the noise of the party.
Gritting his teeth, Sunghoon stormed out of the bathroom and made a beeline for his teammates. Jungwon, Heesung, Jake, and Niki were gathered in a corner, watching him approach with concern.
"What happened?" Heesung asked, his brows furrowing.
"Wonbin took M/n," Sunghoon said, his voice tight with frustration. "Something's going on with their team, and it's bad. We need to do something."
Jungwon's eyes narrowed. "Do you think they'll hurt him?"
Sunghoon ran a hand through his hair, trying to think. "I don't know, but I'm not risking it. We're going to find him and make sure he's okay."
"This isn't right, we can't sit here and watch. Let's try... plan XO."
Heesung's eyes widened slightly. "Plan XO? Are you sure?"
Sunghoon's resolve hardened. "I may not like him, but I can't sit and watch him be roofied like this."
Sunghoon, Jay, and Heesung reached the bedroom door and exchanged a glance. The muffled sounds of yelling and the occasional thud sent a rush of adrenaline through Sunghoon. He placed a hand on the doorknob, nodding to his teammates.
"Go?" Jay whispered, his lips curling into a small smirk.
Sunghoon nodded. "Go."
With that, Sunghoon shoved the door open. The scene inside was worse than he'd expected. M/n was on his hands and knees, his face flushed and bruised, struggling to shield himself as one of the Fifty-Forty players hurled insults and threats, his fist raised. Anton, the captain of the Fifty-Forty team stood nearby, arms crossed, clearly enjoying the spectacle.
"Stop!" Sunghoon's voice boomed, freezing everyone in the room. All eyes turned toward him.
"Stay out of this, Sunghoon," Anton sneered. "This doesn't concern you."
"It does now," Sunghoon snapped, stepping further inside with Jay and Heesung flanking him. "You've crossed the line."
Wonbin took a step forward, his stance aggressive. "He's one of us. You don't get it, you-"
"He's a person," Sunghoon interrupted, his voice sharp. "And you don't get to treat him like this."
"You're outnumbered," one of the Fifty-Forty players said with a laugh.
' The room was thick with tension as Sunghoon stepped in, Jay and Heesung close behind him. M/n was crumpled against the far wall, his lip split and his breath ragged. Wonbin stood over him, his fists clenched, while three other Fifty-Forty teammates blocked the exit now.
"I told you to back off, Sunghoon," Anton growled. "This doesn't concern you."
Sunghoon's jaw tightened, his eyes darting to M/n. He was barely holding himself up, his gaze glassy. "It concerns me now," Sunghoon said firmly. "Get away from him."
Wonbin sneered and gestured to his teammates. "Take care of them."
The first guy lunged at Sunghoon, but Sunghoon was ready. He shifted his weight to his back foot and pivoted, delivering a front kick to the attacker's chest, sending him stumbling backward into a dresser.
The second guy charged in, throwing a sloppy punch. Sunghoon ducked, his movements fluid, and countered with a spinning hook kick that connected with the side of the guy's head. He crumpled to the floor, groaning.
Jay and Heesung handled the third teammate, keeping him occupied with a mix of grapples and strikes, while Sunghoon turned his attention to Anton.
Anton smirked, cracking his knuckles. "You think you're tough, huh?"
Sunghoon didn't respond. He simply raised his hands.
Anton swung a heavy punch, but Sunghoon sidestepped effortlessly, grabbing Anton's wrist and twisting it. With a swift motion, Sunghoon delivered a side kick to Anton's ribs, making him stagger back.
Enraged, Anton charged again, aiming a wild haymaker. Sunghoon ducked under it, spun, and unleashed a powerful spinning back kick to Anton's stomach. The impact sent him sprawling onto the floor, gasping for air.
Sunghoon stood over him, his breathing steady. "You're done," he said coldly.
He turned to Jay and Heesung, who had subdued the third teammate. "Help me get M/n out of here."
"Let's go," Sunghoon said, guiding him out of the room.
He guided M/n through the crowd, carefully avoiding the gaze of the Fifty-Forty students now fully engaged in the distraction Jake and Sunoo had orchestrated. They weaved through the crowd, and Sunghoon's heart pounded with both fear and determination.
Finally, they reached the back door, which led to a dimly lit alley behind the event house. Sunghoon pushed it open and ushered M/n outside. The cool night air was a sharp contrast to the stifling heat of the party inside.
M/n leaned against the wall, swaying slightly. "I don't understand. Why are we outside?"
Sunghoon looked around to ensure they weren't being followed. Satisfied, he turned back to M/n. "You were in danger. I don't know the full details, but it's clear your teammates were planning something tonight."
M/n's eyes softened with gratitude. "Thank you for getting me out. I knew...something was wrong."
Sunghoon took a deep breath, his own anxiety slowly ebbing away. "It's not safe to stay here. We should get you somewhere secure."
M/n nodded, but there was a lingering sadness in his eyes. "I don't know what to say. This is all so overwhelming."
Sunghoon's gaze softened as he stepped closer. He reached out, gently placing his hands on M/n's shoulders. "You don't have to say anything. Just know that you're safe."
For a moment, their eyes locked, and Sunghoon saw a flicker of something in M/n's gaze, a mixture of relief and vulnerability. Without thinking, he leaned in slightly, their faces mere inches apart.
M/n's breath hitched, and Sunghoon could feel the warmth radiating between them. His gaze flickered to M/n's lips, then back to his eyes.
But he stopped himself.
Clearing his throat, Sunghoon stepped back, his cheeks flushing. "Let's... let's get going."
M/n blinked, looking momentarily dazed before nodding. "Yeah. Okay."
🏐
The faint glow of the desk lamp cast long shadows across Sunghoon's room. He sat slouched at his desk, his elbows resting on the polished wood, his head cradled in his hands. His phone lay in front of him, M/n's name and number glowing softly on the screen. His thumb hovered over the call button, trembling with hesitation.
His mind was a whirlwind of emotions, replaying the events of the night.
The alley outside the party had been quiet except for the distant hum of traffic. M/n had leaned against the wall, his face pale, his lips slightly parted as he caught his breath. They had been so close. Too close.
Sunghoon had felt the tension crackle between them, his gaze locked onto M/n's. The moment stretched, heavy with unspoken words and emotions. He'd leaned in slightly, just enough to feel M/n's breath against his skin.
For a heartbeat, it seemed like their lips might meet. But Sunghoon had pulled back at the last second, his heart pounding so loudly he thought M/n could hear it.
The memory made his chest ache and his fingers curl into fists. What was wrong with him? Why would he do something like that?
A soft knock on the door jolted him out of his thoughts. Before he could answer, the door creaked open, and his dad stepped inside.
"Still awake?" his dad asked, his voice warm but tinged with concern. He leaned against the doorframe, arms crossed.
Sunghoon straightened in his chair, quickly locking his phone. "Yeah. Just... thinking."
His dad chuckled, stepping further into the room. "About the game? Or something else?"
Sunghoon hesitated, unsure how much he wanted to share. "A little bit of both."
His dad took a seat on the edge of the bed, studying him carefully. "You know, Sunghoon, I've noticed you've been a little... preoccupied lately. You can't find that 8th person can you?"
Sunghoon hesitated again, then sighed. "There's this guy. He might be a good fit, but he's got... a temper and such an awful way of life. He's damn good though, dad."
His dad nodded slowly, his expression thoughtful. "Sounds like he's a fit."
"I don't know about that," Sunghoon muttered. "I just... I feel like I need to do more. I can't settle for him, but he's so perfect."
His dad's lips curved into a small smile as Sunghoon gushed over M/n. "Bring him to my office Monday then."
Sunghoon blinked, taken aback by the suggestion. "You think I should invite him to join the team? After everything that's happened?"
His dad shrugged. "Why not? If he's as strong as you say he is, and if he means something to you, it might be the best thing for both of you. Just think about it." With that, his dad stood, patting Sunghoon's shoulder before heading toward the door. "You're a good kid, Sunghoon. Trust your instincts."
The door clicked shut, leaving Sunghoon alone with his thoughts once more. He stared at his phone, M/n's name still glowing on the screen.
caphoon Will you join my team?

Two Tickle Sessions In One Day!
Hi!
It's been a while but I hope you are doing well. I am still on break from posting clips or requests but I wanted to let you know about my recent sessions.
Tumblr media
A month ago I was in one of those bad tickle moods. One of those moods where it was all you could think about and the rush of getting tickled or tickling someone was intense. I don't get these moods often and usually when I do, I don't like it because the last couple of times that has happened, I've received bad news about someone I care about, so it also makes me a little anxious when I get that way. Thankfully, it did not happen this time.
I needed to get the mood out but there was no one in the area to session with. Since no one was available, I decided to check out two parties that I have not been to in years. One M/M party and one Female Foot Party.
When it comes to M/M, I am 100% lee and it is something that does not give me much if any arousal. It's just tickling, and I can appreciate it. I'm sure I'd appreciate it more if it could "get me there" but I've seen enough clips and done sessions, and it usually doesn't. I also rarely do M/M because I have to be in a mood for it. This time, I was in a big mood for it, so I decided to go.
Tumblr media
I've spoken about the M/M party in the past. Last time I went about 8 years ago, I just wasn't comfortable or ready to be there and it seemed like the owner took umbrage with that when I tried to leave. I figured a lot of time has passed and I have gained more experience, so hopefully things would be fine. I explain why I wanted to go to the party, and I was allowed to go.
I entered the party, and as a cis-identifying male, it's a little overwhelming at first. Action (Everyone is clothed) is everywhere right in front of you, but everyone is also very nice and doing their thing. I like to give people space, but there was no space to go, so I was just watching everything go down lol.
Tumblr media
While waiting, I was introduced to a guy, who had grey hair and , who was also into tickling and we began talking. At first, the convo was small talk, but then we realized we knew each other from a previous meeting, which made things easier. After some talking, he asked what I was here for and when it comes to males, I am strictly a lee, so I told him I wanted to be tickled. Luckily, a massage table opened up and was cleaned off and ready to be used. We asked the table owner, who was a tall, slender man with grey hair and facial hair, if we could use it. Lucky or not lucky for me, we were allowed but the table owner was also into tickling. They asked me if he could join in and I figured why not?
I laid on the table and decided not to be bound because sometimes I stay still anyway. And before I know it, I have two lers all over me, testing out my spots and trying to find where I am most ticklish. They would glide their fingers all over my sides, under my arms, my tummy, my thighs and of course, my feet while I laughed and didn't move around too much. It was extra sensitive because 1. With the massage chair, I'm mostly looking upwards and can only see the ceiling. And 2. I'm getting teasing from all angles! The two very skilled lers keep saying things like, "Oh, he's real ticklish!" "I think he likes it!" While others at the party are watching and saying things like, "I think he doesn't want it to stop" and "He's having a lot of fun now"
Tumblr media
With two lers on me, I never had time to have one spot make me off the wall ticklish because it was always changing. Sometimes it was their fingers lightly tickling my stomach that was the most intense. Other times, it was harder touches on my feet by one of the lers. Sometimes it was an attack under my arms. There were a lot of different moments during the 20-30 minutes of tickling that just kept making me laugh hysterically. I do know at one point, a hairbrush was used because I felt it and that always felt more surprising than ticklish. The other interesting part about having two lers on your feet were both styles were different. One was lighter and the other was harder, but both were effective!
Tumblr media
(I couldn't find a MM/M gif)
After my time was done, I thanked them for the session and decided to wrap up since the party was coming to an end anyway. It was time to go to the next party.
This party, which I also had low hopes for, runs all the time in NYC and it is pay-to-play. I was that down bad, that I was willing to do it this evening lol. I went in with very low expectations and the reminder that if the first few moments are bad, I can just leave.
When I got there, it took forever for them to let me in, which already set my expectations to low. Despite this, I walked in and heard laughter already. Someone was getting tickled under the sheets, so I knew I wasn't the only tickler in the area. The girls that I saw in there were nice and chill to talk to for the most part. Some were more personable, while others just wanted to make their money, which I am not upset about. They're not there to be my friend.
The first lee was a tiny girl with red hair, and was ticklish but not that reactionary. I don't think she was ticklish on her feet at all, but I would always ask if it's okay to tickle elsewhere. Thankfully it was, and her upperbody, especially her arms, were her weakspot. She did not seem into it in the slightest, so I tried not to overdo it.
The second lee was this tall, black girl, with long hair and very nice to talk to. She wasn't sure how ticklish she could be, so I would tested some of her spots. Her feet were tolerable, her knees were very sensitive, and under her arms, she was almost unable to do!
I brought some tools that I didn't bring out at the M/M party (my bag at that party was all the way on the other side I just didn't want to bother with it) I ran an ostrich feather up and down her soles and her legs, which felt more relaxing to her. Then, I brought out TicklingDuck's device vibrating device.
Tumblr media
As the device touched her soles, she would laugh hard, squirm around, cover her mouth, and was genuinely shocked at something being so ticklish on her. I asked if I could use the device on her knees and she went "Oh no!" and let me do it anyway, which I didn't do for long because she couldn't handle it.
The third lee was another redhead, who was also a nice person to talk to and wearing boots and long socks. I tickled her through the socks first, which made her giggle a bit, before taking them off and scribbling on her toes and soles so more. Her feet were also moderately ticklish, so I asked if I could tickle other parts of her body. Her weakspot was the ribcage and made any other spot look like a 1 compared to them! I spent most of my time on her feet since the ribcage was so intense, but we did play a few games. I would tell her if she could let me tickle there for 10 seconds, she would get a reward, which would be a foot massage or other foot worship. She agreed and barely opened up her arms until I scribbled in there and teased her further, saying "You gotta let me get in there or I'm gonna increase the time" She opened up her ribs and it was the longest 10 seconds of her life. Afterwards, I would congratulate her for making it through and doing such a good job.
Tumblr media
After we were finished, I was ready to go since I had an obligation to get to later in the evening, but another taller woman approached me and asked me if I like tickling. She mentioned that she liked tickling to and wanted to know if I wanted to session. I was skeptical at first, because it felt like a money-grab, but I figured I'm already here so why not?
Best decision I made at that party. I started by spider tickling all the way up from her feet to legs, to her sides, across her tummy, back to her ribs, and of course under her arms. This woman was genuinely ticklish everywhere and was a lot of fun to play with. I would caress her thighs and tease like I'm about to tickle there, only to sneak attack and tickle her tummy. I brought out the TicklingDuck device again and we played another counting game to see how long she could last without moving, and I made sure to count the longest 30 seconds I could, running my fingers all across her tummy and under hear arms while she laughed her head off underneath the covers. The last thing I did to her, was bring out the pair of stocks that just arrived. I was itching to try them on someone and she was so excited to see stocks. We locked her bare feet and the stocks and I ran my fingers all across her soles and under her toes, while she was unable to get away or pull them out. While these sessions lasted 10 minutes, this one was definitely longer and we both knew it. After she was done, she complimented my ler skills, saying most male lers are rough, but I was very gentle with her, but also devastating, which I took as a big compliment.
Tumblr media
Before I left, I had one request for her. I had a hard time locking the stocks on myself at my home, but when I did, they were not very comfortable. I asked if she could test the stocks out on me to see how good they were. She obliged and got my feet in the stocks. Once I was locked in, she began running her nails across my soles, which was one of the more intense tickles I got all night! I laughed hard and and was unable to do anything else, my feet were trapped and that definitely made the tickling worse! She would tease me and say things like "Aww! Is someone ticklish?" And "Now who's ticklish" until I had to stop her because I really had to get going. I thanked her for the fun time and planned to come back in the future.
Overall, it was a great day of tickles and satisfied my ler and lee moods!

There's something about how Mapicc will go full out on the attack over an assumption or something that fits with your reputation.
But then when confronted that that is not the truth, he will back off and say, maybe i was wrong.
But then he keeps you on the watch list and his trust is forever wavered.
There's two instances and both came up in the past month, though one was season 6 and the other season 4.
When Zam confronted Mapicc about Mawn on the first day, Mapicc confronted him back saying he only ever calls on him to fight and nothing else: tldr Zam uses him.
Zam of course is shocked and horrified that Mapicc would think that, and after going back and forth and a lot of insisting from Zam, Mapicc goes,
MAPICC: "I don't think you did. I don't think you were intending to like, use me for personal gain, but i think lowkey even if you don't agree you did- i think you did”
And then after more confrontations he goes,
MAPICC: “[pause] i think.. That maybe just a lot of people subconsciously do that and now I see it in people when it’s not happening. It's possible”
(12/15/24 "RECOLLECT" zam, conversation starts at 2:45:00)
And that interaction bothered me a lot. When it happened I thought it was a sign that Mapicc actually did start changing his mind about mawn, but by the time I wrote the post there were more mawn streams and Mapicc had clearly not been changed by that convo. So what was going on?
The rest of mawn continued, Mapicc kept denying it was all about Zam while making it all about Zam.
And on the last day, Mapicc brings back up the feeling used by Zam.
MAPICC: “i don't feel abandoned. I feel used. [..] i'm perfectly fine bro. I- I can make it back to 20 hearts, i can live on my own. Like [..] like i do some crazy ass action out of nowhere and like i die in the middle of it and the first thing you message me it to come bail you out of a bunch of wardens pit?"
Mapicc does an entire takeover of spawn and Zam doesn't enter into the play. He doesn't reciprocate. He doesn't embrace mapicc's idea. He doesn't care about him and what he cares about.
Zam just wants Mapicc when he needs help.
Stab the knife and twist it.
And all this after Mapicc put aside his "oath" (killing people whenever he thinks they deserve it) for Zam and Zam's plot. Mapicc changed himself to do stuff with Zam, but Zam wouldn't change himself to do stuff with Mapicc.
They go back and forth debating on whether or now mawn was good. Mapicc is less and less confident, while zam says he thinks it did do good but he couldn't be involved.
MAPICC: ‘what is it you would like from me” ZAM: “i don't know. Thats what im trying to figure out. Cause like, i don't even know” [..] MAPICC: “i think im in the wrong.” ZAM: "really?” MAPICC: "im sorry”  [..] Zam asks if he wants to join his team with derap and poafa. Mapicc just looks at zam. Zam says he can think about it MAPICC: "i just don't want to team with derap and poafa” ZAM: “fair enough” MAPICC: ”lets just- why can’t you just be in two teams? [..] why can't we be in the mapicc-zam team and then you have your teammates” ZAM: “[jumping on it so fast] im okay with that as well”
(12/23/24 "to ashes and blood" zam. convo starts 2:49:00)
All of mawn has been about getting Zam back to spawn, Mapicc shouting once, "just- COME OUT OF EXILE! Just come back to spawn” (1:31:40 zam "dynasties and dystopia")
There's this war within Mapicc over knowing he will continue to feel used by Zam, but still just wanting to be by Zam. All of it centers back to wanting to be teammates - doing plots together.
Bc "teammate" means something for Mapicc. It's a "do everything together" type relationship. "Support each other in all things" type relationship. Look at how he was in dualities. (before the finale. which is actually really interesting to think about)
Which brings me to the second moment Mapicc reacted aggressively only to take it back and say it was all based on assumptions: the Dupe War.
Spoke dropping the unreleased footage within the same month as the above really created a parallel within the Mapicc characterization.
57:00 MAPICC: "honestly no, honestly, here's the thing, i think, i really do, okay? I really do think it might've just been the reputation [..] you were saying some ominous things. and me and zam thought about it [..] and you kept saying things that were making your case worse and worse."
After feeling like Spoke was playing them, Mapicc went and killed Spoke. Spoke, enraged and upset, confronted Mapicc and eventually Mapicc said he acted out of turn, it might've just been the reputation.
It's so similar to the s6 belief, now I see it in people when it's not happening.
And so similar to s4, he'll admit defeat in the battle, give the benefit of the doubt. But the nagging suspicion continues and he's never quite able to shake it.
MAPICC: "I wish this guy wasn't such a snake, i would like 5 minutes hanging out with Spoke" ZAM: "[finishing sentence] without thinking he has some kind of ulterior motive"
("Night of the End", zam vod 1:54:40)
Mapicc's mind runs at a million miles an hour, making connections, providing assumptions, giving gut checks.
And he's right a lot of the time.
But he doubts himself all of the time. Going back on his observation when someone presses him in the opposite direction. Caving and placating so as to not loose a friendship.
but that self-doubt seems to be louder in the conversation that it really is within his own mind. And once he notes something it's very hard for his mind to be changed.
And it's interesting how his assumptions that Zam would oppose mawn and would be responsible for these things that kept happening, were wrong. He said during the final mawn convo that he felt like zam kept 180-ing after every convo, though he admits he was wrong about who did the suspicious things.
But the assumption that started this whole thing was that Mapicc felt used, not that Zam would oppose him.
And that assumption has still not been proven incorrect.
Though Mapicc will go along with it for now, being more cautious than before. Just like he was with Spoke after that dupe war confrontation.
It's a haunting ending, and it's not helped at all by how Mapicc ended his video. My general belief is that Mapicc went 180 on what actually happened bc the video is public and all the lifestealers will watch it, and he did say he would keep mawn going and just let it exist in people's minds. You can't do that if you end your video saying it's all over.
And yet.
MAPICC: "Me and Zam had made up, but it didn't mean we could team. If i could go back in time i would have never done mawn, but now that i have full control over spawn, i can't just stop"
it is a complete 180 from what was decided in the conversation.
and that was mapicc speaking days later, after reflection. What went on in his head, alone while editing?? Where will this go? why did he have to go skiing??

Chubby F! Housewife Reader X M!Yandere Streamer OC Jasper
Part 1?
next part!
(idk i might continue it?? should i? i know it’s more niche)
Tumblr media
MINORS DNI
CW: Chubby F!reader, reader has a vagina, reader referred to as she/her, cheating themes, reader in a dress, pet names for reader(darling, ) not smutty yet! slow burn possibly
Tumblr media
keep thinking about a chubby housewife reader to like a really shitty but rich man, and they move next door to Jasper………………. MMMMM
Anything in Red reader isn’t aware of
Your husband moved you both into a beautiful mansion in a gated community. It’s amazing, and everything you could ever need, he’s providing.
You fell in love with him a year and a half ago.
It’s not like he lied, but you wouldn’t have married him had you known what he was really like.
He drinks all day and complains all night, and when he fucks you, he finishes in a few seconds. And that’s when he does fuck you! He’s hardly ever even touching you let alone getting it in.
You are standing outside overseeing the movers as they take boxes and furniture into your brand new house. your skirt dances against your legs in the warm, gentle breeze.
Your husband swirls an amber liquid in a short crystal glass, watching you from the doorway. When you wave excitedly, he skulks back into the mansion.
Your heartstrings tug painfully.
He’s taken you far away from all of your loved ones, somewhere where you’re all alone and afraid… And he can’t even be there for you at least little bit? Before a stinging tear fully can form-
“Evenin’” You hear a lazy male voice from nearby, and spin toward your hedges. There’s a wrought gate between yours, and your neighbors’ yard directly… The old neighbors must’ve been their friend. A young looking guy stands on the other side of it, waving kindly to you. His posture is easy, one hand in his jean pocket, the other up in the air, his head tipped back exposing his pale neck. Long black hair frames his face, loaded with piercings. He looks out of place, but perfectly at home standing out.
You approach, figuring that your husband can lead the movers just fine on his own. You don’t notice your slight pout, but Jasper finds it adorable, he bites his lip, eyeing you up.
“Sorry I didn’t bake ya a pie, didn’t know the place would be sold so soon.” He laughs and lazily scratches the back of his head, his shirt pulls up revealing his hip bone.
“Why? ‘s it haunted? OooOo” You wave your fingers to mock something spooky.
He laughs at your cute demeanor, “Eh maybe, last owner did die,” he shrugs.
“Oh my, I’m sorry, I didn’t know….” You idly run your fingers over the cold, slightly bumpy textured gate.
“Nothing to be sorry for, didn’t know them” He shrugs.
“Oh phew! I thought— Anyway!” You shake your hands and head to reset the convo, “What’s up? why’d you call me over here?” You tilt your head and fold your hands in front of you.
“I was just greeting my pretty new neighbor, that’s all,” He grins.
“Oh stop! I’m married!” You shyly laugh and turn your head so that he can’t see you’re flustered.
“happily?” His grin grows as does his suspicion.
“Oh!” You think of an excuse to quickly leave, “I think the movers are calling me!” You rush off back to at least pretend to delegate again.
His brow raises curiously as he smiles after you, watching your curves sway as you walk away.
The stranger watches you for a few minutes longer, and you feel his eyes on you, but you don’t dare turn around and encourage him.
You are a good wife. Regardless of who you ended up marrying. You stomp, steadfast in your decision.
He chuckles before walking back to his home.
~
Inside you finish setting the table with the house workers, and arranging the flowers on all the marble pedestals around the dining room. Your husband is having some business partners over for dinner.
As the door rings you rush to answer the door, and an employee beats you to it, taking their coat and everything.
You aren’t really sure what you should be doing… And your chest tightens with nerves.
“What are you doing out here? You should be with me.” Edward grabs your elbow and drags you along. He’s being rather rough but you can’t help feel a little grateful to be lead. It doesn’t stop your eyes burning in embarrassment.
He sets you down in the seat next to his at the head, and your heart flutters with pride, emotional whiplash aside.
A few men enter the dining room one after the other, and then dinner is served. you’re dissociating for most of it, just nodding along to their dull conversation, until your husband’s hand clasps around your thigh. “Huh?”
“You’re excused now, darling,” he has a cold look in his eye that startles you.
“What?” What he said hurt your feelings, he doesn’t want you around now? did you do something wrong?
“Leave, let us grown ups talk now” He laughs with his business friends joining in.
You feel that far too familiar sting in your eyes, how could he!? that’s so embarrassing! You’re his wife.
Doing your best, you stand without making a scene and give them all your most polite and proper departing smile.
~
It’s cold on the patio. Your evening dress doesn’t cover very much and where it does, the fabric is cool. You’re quick to shiver, but you remain.
There’s a security camera above you and you feel watched, so you decide to go for a walk around the block instead of staying stationary. Maybe that will warm you up a little too.
You creep out the front gate, feeling like you’re a teen again, sneaking out when you aren’t supposed to… But this is your home! you aren’t disallowed from taking a walk!
“Hah!” You laugh to yourself, how silly of a feeling you just had.
As you round a corner adorned by an iron lamp post with glowing twin lanterns, you start dwelling more and more on your predicament. You already felt lonesome before, where Edward had made you feel special, and told you you’d never be alone again. Yet here you are, walking down the dim street, alone.
An engine coming towards you snaps you out of your thoughts, you turn to see a large van slowing down as it approaches you. Your heart thumps and your mind races before the driver side window rolls down revealing your neighbor’s laid back, and smirking face.
You let out a shaky sigh, “oh goodness you scared me for a second!” followed by a nervous laugh.
“You alright? Want a ride?” He asks.
“Oh no, don’t worry about me! I was just taking a stroll,” You let your words hang, wanting to accept but being a little too frightened or nervous to outright accept.
“C’mon, we can have some coffee or tea at my place, ‘sides, i’d feel terrible if i just left ya out here at this time, sure it’s gated but a tasty lookin’ treat like you’d get snatched up in a heartbeat.”
Your face feels hot but you nod and mangange to get out an “mhm!”
He watches you round the front of his van, and reaches his body over the center console to open the passenger door for you.
He offers his hand to help you up, when you take it, it’s cold! “What have you been up to? You feel like death! here!” You bring his hand up to your face and blow warm air over his knuckles.
Crimson fills his cheeks for the moment and is swift to clear back out before you can really admire it.
You pull back away a little embarrassed yourself, you aren’t sure why you did that to a stranger! “Oh! I don’t even know your name! I’m Y/N!” You stick your hand back out in offer to shake his.
He takes it, “Jasper,” a small smile tugs at his lips.
~
The drive isn’t long, but you realize how far from home you actually were, and wonder what he had been doing to find you.
You step out onto his driveway and anxiously look through the gate connecting your yards. It feels as though this is something you really shouldn’t be doing… But this Jasper guy could be a friend, and then you won’t be so lonely anymore!
Your home is still lit up inside, so you’re assuming theyre still talking in there.
Jasper’s space on the inside is dimly lit, but brightly coloured retro fantasy, all soft shapes with rounded sides. Mostly pinks and purples. Very vaporwave. The kitchen tiles, though the typical black and white checker board, warp and look like waves on the floor. Plants cover most all the surfaces.
He makes you your preferred tea, or coffee, he doesn’t make himself a cup of either. Instead he grabs a pale blue, and silver can from the fridge.
“Oh i see how it is,” You say with sarcasm.
“I figured you’d need to warm up,” A smile crosses his lips that has your body feeling hot.
You sip your drink nonchalantly.
“So what were you doing out there by yourself?”
“My husband— Nevermind, sorry. I shouldn’t talk bad about my husband behind his back…”
“Well I know something we could do if you don’t wanna go back yet…” his brow raises in a challenge.

ellie's writing tips
hellooo this is just a lil masterpost for the writing tips i have collected over my time writing since it's a question i get often!! this way it's all in one place <3 this is also for my own reference to look back on when i forget them lol
tips for specifically writing long fics
on coming up with a main storyline.
planning out a general idea & premise at the beginning of the fic that helps two characters get closer to one another, such as a forced proximity, some sort of mutual agreement, a mission to complete, etc. is a great way to get the ball rolling on a fic and can create environments between characters that feels connected and necessary rather than forced
on coming up with secondary storylines.
after laying down the main groundwork, building some side storylines adjacent to the main one that will give you options down the line to play with narratively (you don't need to figure out exactly what you want to do with secondary plotlines up front, but having them in place can create flexibility in your story to pivot towards some ideas if you'd like to later in the story)
on planning chapters & scenes.
it's wise to have a general idea for your series, but it's also okay to scrap those ideas if ultimately they don't work. there will be scenes that do not make sense or fit in the way you thought they would've, and making last minute decisions is okay and totally normal. sometimes better answers will find you along the way, and it's only a testament to how well you're getting to know your own story and also your own characters. it's also okay to plan multiple path ideas for your story, and choose whichever one fits best once you get to that point. it's not necessary to have a scene-by-scene in order to start writing! planning is useful, but writing is more important
on finding motivation to continue long fics.
having certain "key" scenes planned out in the very early stages of writing that you know you will look forward to writing can help with finding motivation. it will also help you find momentum to write during points where you might have some writer's block. also, one of the best tips i have seen for writing chaptered fics, is to end your chapters when you still have a little bit left planned. so cutting it like 10% short so that you have an immediate jumping off of point that you can start with for the next chapter
my general writing tips
inspiration. starting off w a concept or idea that you already know you like from a tv show or book works really well for fanfiction! for example if you like spiderman, then you can write a canon-adjacent spiderman au w your fave character from an anime or something. and then maybe once you start writing, your own original ideas start to come into play and you go off of those. i think in the fanfic community, people adore spin-offs & mainstream concept ideas
dialogue. my biggest tip for dialogue would be to just write all of your dialogue for a scene completely stripped down. none of the “he says” & “she says” or action verbs in between, just write it all out like it was a simple text convo w quotation marks. that way the words will sound realistic because you’re only picturing a convo in your head, rather than also trying to juggle all the descriptive prose. then, you can go back in to fluff things up. if it’s meant to be comedic or a fast-paced argument, keeping it relatively stripped down is the way to go, but if it’s something intense or suspenseful then fluffing it up may be the better choice. also, i find dialogue becomes easier the more you write for a specific character, so if it’s not flowing right away, don’t worry!! their words will find you eventually once you get to know the character better :)
on choosing conflicts. characters won’t always act perfect, but i think a great way to make conflict seem realistic is for them to act in character but with flaws, rather than out of character with flaws. maybe make a list of what that character’s good qualities and how those qualities could also work against them, and use the latter to brainstorm realistic conflict that those qualities could put them in (ex: a character is self-sufficient, but that causes them to rely on ppl less when they need it -> they fail to reach out for help in timely manners and leads to mistakes/regrets)
pacing. when starting off a story, don’t be afraid to just jump straight into it! or jump straight into the dialogue and then build the scene gradually as it progresses, rather than [big block of text in beginning of scene that reader must drag their eyes through] and then get to the dialogue. make sure the pacing fits the scene (romantic -> longer paragraphs more focused on subtle details, comical -> short paragraphs n dialogue heavy w simple n relatable diction, etc)
for tone and mood. to get words flowing for different scenes, it can be really useful to get into the environment of those scenes while you’re writing, such as listening to a song that fits the vibe of the scene prior to/during writing, or if its a scene at night, write it w the lights off, or watch a youtube vid w scenery that matches. may sound silly, but it could help!
read more. this is sort of a miscellaneous one but a good way to subconsciously get better at writing is to just read more! your brain kinda learns how to write on its own when you read. also, when i’m reading, if i see words i really like i jot them down in my notes app so i have my own lil vocabulary of words that i know i would like to use in my writing
on writing insecurities. be proud of your writing!! your first draft does NOT have to be perfect. some days the words will flow, but on some they won’t, and that’s okay. don’t get too into your head about “i wonder what readers will think of this plot point or this character action” etc, i think having faith in your own process but also in your readers will bring you a lot of peace as you write :) create what you want to create and the rest will follow!! at the end of the day it’s just a hobby and you should be writing what YOU want to write!! and just get started! ☺️ that’s the easiest way to write—is to just write 🫶🏼💕
use chatgpt. looool ai can be useful in writing too! i usually only use it after i'm completed with a draft, and i just plug select paragraphs into it to see if it can come up with some better words for me to use. it's also useful to come up with logistical details for aspects of your stories for world-building etc

Was feeling silly over Sinatra and I wanted to break out one of my Dean and Jack metas by itself. It's from this monstrosity, but I love it so. I'm pulling it out to ponder over today.
//
Dean’s answer to the Harper-coded ideal of perfection:
So, last we left off, Harper was writing dreamily about how she’s gonna find Jack and everything’s gonna be PERFECT.
Which is why it’s so beautiful to me that Dean, who has struggled with some of the same abandonment trauma and overall clinging to his first familial loves out of desperation, is the one to narratively provide a rebuttal to that!
Harper sighs dreamily and picks up her coffee mug of domesticity:
Tumblr media
And the scene cuts to Jack, as if he’s right there across from her. (He’s sitting in her empty spaces, hundreds of miles away.)
Tumblr media
And Jack is so satisfied. The coffee didn’t taste good to him at the very beginning of the episode. He “couldn’t get it how he liked it.”
Now, it’s very satisfying.
///
Harper and Jack are both satisfied is different ways. Harper, because she left her past behind, and Jack because he’s proved himself as a capable hunter worthy of being brought into the family business. It’s all part of growing up.
They are still thinking about each other and what they learned in meeting each other. Jack is specifically asking Dean about love:
JACK: And that’s, love? DEAN: Eh, actually love can get crazier than that. And it might get crazier with Harper still out there. But, uh, you did good, kid.
Tumblr media
In Jack’s family kitchen, we find Dean sitting in the narrative “Harper position,” fielding Jack’s questions about love and providing important guidance.
Tumblr media
But Harper’s “mentor” space is sadly empty. She has no one to guide her. Only a stack of books. She gets her ideas about love…from books.
///
As for Jack, Jack leans a little too far into being Righteous here. He says to Dean: “I was right! I should be going on more hunts!”
This reminds us a little bit of Claire Novak, in 11x12 Don’t You Forget About Me:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"I was right!"
///
But Dean?
Dean gently redirects the conversation. Dean doesn’t talk about perfection. It’s not about being right. Or righteous, for that matter.
DEAN: Okay, alright. It’s not about being right. Kay? You’re gonna make mistakes, hell, I make them all the time. But it’s how you handle yourself once you’ve made those mistakes and you’ve learned from them.
Dean’s entire season 8 arc was about accepting the imperfect family: “love, and love.” This is echoed again, just a few episodes later, with AU Michael taunting Dean specifically about Cas’s mistakes:
AU MICHAEL: …he “gripped you tight and raised you from Perdition.” Or whatever. But since then, what has he done? Only made mistakes, one after the other.
AU Michael doesn’t grasp the complexity of love and all its imperfections. Real, lasting love allows for mistakes and growth.
Anyway.
Mistakes! (And accepting them! It's an amazing theme!)
And that lands for Jack. He considers the words, assessing, and like how he was with Harper, he gets a Very Good Emotional Read on Dean.
Tumblr media
(Unlike Sam, a “brain” character, Jack’s very much a heart character. He’s GOOD at this aspect of humanity. He connects almost effortlessly, even when he’s awkward.)
And especially because he and Dean (and Mary) are built similarly in their emotional cores and neuroses, he figures out exactly what Dean needs to hear, echoing their earlier convo about Michael—
(HERE'S THE CONVO B/T JACK & DEAN, EARLIER IN THE EP:)
JACK: Dean, what happened with Michael, no one blames you. DEAN: Cool, well I blame me, so… /////// JACK: Dean, I need to do something. You don’t understand. I could have killed Michael. Here, when I was strong enough, I could have. But there was so much going on and then everything else happened because I was distracted and stupid and DEAN (angrily): Hey! You didn’t do anything wrong. JACK:  And neither did you! But that doesn’t make it any easier does it?
Jack takes this earlier conversation and echoes it—and reflecting a cheeky, wry sense of comfort…right back at Dean himself.
Tumblr media
DEAN: ...it’s how you handle yourself once you’ve made those mistakes and you’ve learned from them. JACK (comically throwing Dean’s own advice back at him): —and how to not beat yourself up over [those mistakes].
Aw.
It hits its mark. ❤️
Tumblr media
We get his, “Stop seeing right through me, Kid,” look:
DEAN: You know Jack, you’re pretty smart sometimes.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Dean tries to hide his smile in his drink.
And Jack knows his words hit, that he’s cheered Dean up. He’s so pleased about it, too! He got ‘im.
Tumblr media
They’re, very unfortunately for both of them, very much on the same wavelength with this sort of thing, with their neuroses and emotions, and they know it.
///
(Who's giving who advice here? hehehe. Maybe it's a little give and take. They comfort one another because their hearts are made of the same stuff.)

✦ “I’ll always wear this. for you.”
✦ warnings: Angst + fluff , fem!reader, cusses , pet names , Megumi Fushiguro x Fem!Reader
*.·:·.✧ ✦ ✧.·:·.* *.·:·.✧ ✦ ✧.·:·.* *.·:·.✧ ✦ ✧.·:·.* *.·:·.✧ ✦ ✧.·:·.* *.·:·.✧ ✦ ✧.·:·.*
Serisouly, why didnt you tell him?
Hes your boyfriend, after all. He would honestly sacrifice himself for you to live during a mission.
He would buy you anything at any store, no matter the price. He would comfort you when you cried in his arms during midnight.
Yet, you never told him about your sickness.
“Oh, such a pathetic girl! A sorcerer while having an illness, that has no cure?!”, “A big risk… she shouldn’t go through all the pain, she’s too young. Only a first-year.” The people would say around Tokyo High.
Megumi never minded their comments, thinking that they’re talking about some random student at another school, like Kyoto.
Yet… he felt like he should listen in on one convo.
Why?
Curiosity.
“Really, Y/N… she should take a break… she should live her life normally, she doesn’t need to worry about curses stumbling around the streets!!” A student said.
“Yknow, I wonder when her time is gonna come to an end. She probably wouldn’t ever to predict it… those who have it are known to pass out, slowly fading away from life.”
Megumi eyes widen, running to your dorm.
He had to keys for it, you gave him the extra spare.
He slammed the door, open, running into your room.
“Y/N!” He yelled, making you flinch at the sudden burst. His facial expression softens when you flinch, closing your bedroom door behind him and sat down on your bed.
“… so, why didn’t you tell me?”
“About what?”
He sighed, shaking his head. “Your sickness.”
“Oh! Ah…”
You looked around, shaking your legs a bit on the bed. “I.. didnt wanna worry you, yknow.?”
He looks at you, and then hugs you, resting his head against your collar.
“Worry? Dear, not telling me and me having to eavesdrop on random students to figure out that you have an illness is gonna worry me WAY MORE.”
You nod, mumbling, “I- I know, ‘m sorry…”
He softly stiffens, hearing your apology. You weren’t the one to apologize, being too afraid of them still being mad at you. Yet, you apologizing now?
It was his first time hearing so.
“… it’s.. okay, dear..”
He sighs, closing his eyes.
“Let’s just, sleep here, ‘Kay?” He mumbled, feeling himself already dozing off.
“Mghh… mhmmm!” You hummed, closing your eyes as well with your arms around his neck.
———
“Mghh, mmm…” Megumi groaned as he wakes up, looking around. He felt the cold morning breeze hit his face, you still snuggly asleep.
He looks down at you, seeing that your breathing was still very soft.
“So… cute.” He whispers, resting his head against your neck softly, to make sure you wouldn’t wake up.
After a few minutes, your eyes began to flutter open.
“Oh, awake, darling?” He mumbled, looking up at your groggily awakening.
You stretched, nodding, then getting up from the bed.
He got up behind you, following you into the kitchen. “… since I figured out… yknow, your days are… near… would we hang out for a bit? I don’t wanna forget you in the future.”
Your eyes gleamed and nodded, mumbling, “sure!!”
———
“Oooo, oooo, this one!!” You exclaimed, showing him a matching Chiikawa and Usagi plushies.
“Do you want it?” He mumbled, crossing his arms under his chest.
“Mhm! Let’s match! Pleaseeee…!!!” You begged him. He obviously couldn’t say no to you, especially after figuring out.
He sighs, nodding. “Of course, dear.”
You both continued looking around, you finding more matching stuff for you and him.
“Can we get these???” He say, showing him a matching Pompompurin and Cinnamonroll keychain.
“Mhm.” He nodded, with a vague response, yet you could tell he loved quality time with you.
Finally, the last thing that was in your hands were a matching Yin and Yang keychain, meant to go on the lope at the top of your jeans.
“Please?” You looked up at him with your innocent eyes, making him forget all the worries in the world.
He nods, putting them in the small cart and walked to the cash register, making sure you were beside of him at all time.
———
You both were at your dorm, him showing you the both Yin and Yang keychain in the palms of his hand.
“Mm… Yin!” You exclaimed, as he nodded.
He instantly gave you Yin, putting the Yang keychain at the loop at the top of his jeans.
“I’ll always wear this. For you.”

ohhhhhhhohohoho taash half-accusingly telling rook 'what would you know? you act like you haven't lost anyone' is soooo good and hits so perfectly for rye in particular (who incidentally was showing his true credentials as varric's spiritual son in giving good advice he has never, ever, not once in his life, actually followed himself. and probably never will! (also the only option at that point in the convo that doesn't give you approval interestingly. taash rightfully doesn't quite buy what rook's selling there lol.) of course it's okay for you to be sad and feel abandoned because your parent figure is gone even though she never meant to leave you. not me though. obviously. that's just going to have to be an untended open grave of a wound in my heart forever there's nothing for it). it's such a good hint as to how odd rook's reaction to varric's death must seem to the rest of the team even as they eggshell tiptoe walk around it. of course no one wants to be the first person to broach the subject with rook. would YOU want to be the first person to break through that weird serene lack of reaction and find out what's hiding beneath it??? because none of the potential answers to that have the outlook of being entirely comfortable. (the real answer being, of course, 'oh shit blood magic empowered denial stage!!!'. which is also not great but would have been good to know sooner probably lol)
in general I LOVE the relationship I've been able to set up and keep developing between these two. there's such a solid throughline that there is so much affection in this relationship... but taash consistently picks up on rye's bullshit (as much about what he tells himself and thinks about himself as anything else, I don't think he means to be deceptive necessarily he's just out of touch with a lot internally), on the lack of complete authenticity that's there however well-meaning. and (probably wisely) keeps that last little bit of distrust and distance because of it. no one in the world could want to help them more earnestly than rook, and his protectiveness and tenderness for them is genuine and from the core. but beneath it all rye is not in a place with himself to be what they really need because at the end of the day and in many ways they're probably already further along in the quest to be true to themselves without apology or obfuscation than he is. and also he's going to get their gf killed inadvertently in a hot second so like. layers. layers of stuff and resentments and broken promises never quite made and reflections never quite faced going on here despite everyone's best intentions every step of the way lmao (which could be the subtitle of this game in many ways so that works out excellently thematically). 'I feel like I'm always letting you down and I'm so sorry' cycle keeps grinding on.
at the same time taash is working through ways to reconcile with and find ways to live with their mother and the memory of her in all her shortcomings because they love her and she means so much to them that they don't want to let it go completely, 'I just have to find a way to hold you that doesn't hurt me so much even if that means I can't clutch you as closely as I might have wanted once'... they're having to do some of the same process with rook. forgiving someone for what they couldn't be for you and finding other ways to get what you need -- not because this person ever meant to let you down, but because they simply don't have the capacity for whatever reason not to, a bit. there's going to be an oh how the turntables moment at some point down the line where taash rounds on rook to bark 'hey asshole forgive yourself already. you can't be everything to everyone and no one's asking you to be but you. and if anyone is asking you to be that they're dicks because that's unfair. stop beating yourself up I don't like having to watch my friends be bullied.' and rye will have to lie awake staring at the ceiling for a couple of nights after that probably. but maybe there's some hope he'll finally listen.
(I think the only person who gets rye completely unfiltered is lucanis by the end. which is not at all reflecting on the rest of the crew -- RYE rarely gets rye completely unfiltered all of those relationships are still very important no matter what lol. but I think lucanis has both the eyes to see through to and understand the truth and the unflinching 'I said all in and I meant all in' nature to accept what he sees without hesitation or quibble when he does, which makes rye finally let the walls come down after the fade jail when everything is in shambles inside. the full mutual People think that intimacy is about sex. But intimacy is about truth. When you realize you can tell someone your truth, when you can show yourself to them, when you stand in front of them bare and their response is 'You're safe with me'—that's intimacy and so on and so forth deal. which basically is what that big romance scene is about and why it's. everything.)

hi mira i’m going to rq for jjk (gojo specifically) :) kinda inspired by a fic idea of mine so if i see you post it maybe it’ll give me inspo to actually write too LOL — this is also a little long sorry, you can shorten as you wish 😓 maybe it’ll get the brain juices going idk
Y/N was really close to geto (i was thinking siblings but do whatever) and when he turned curse user and left, it made Y/N rethink why she was a sorcerer herself. she believed in geto’s ideals, but seeing his mindset 180 made her question if the same thing would happen to her since she was always weaker-minded than him. so she quit dropped out of the school and gojo never saw her since
skipping to the present, Y/N became a sorcerer again after having a conversation with geto some time before he died. with yuji being sukuna’s vessel, she goes to the school herself and sees gojo (their last convo was actually an argument leaving everything [him] behind). gojo’s just really stubborn, but he’s there when Y/N really needs him. from there they only keep encountering each other until they make up, their feelings are all out on the table, etc. etc.

Most people grew up with one shadow, but according to your mother, you had lived your entire life with two. The first was the same as the one everyone had, that darkening of the ground in the shape of your figure. The second was the boy who lived next door — or, at least, that was what she told you.
His name was Suguru Geto, and despite his dark features and darker clothing, he had a perpetually sunny demeanor, always quick to offer you a gentle smile whenever you glanced his way. He was polite even when it wasn’t required of him, and though your mother teased you for it, you knew she was secretly grateful for his presence in your life.
The greatest thing Suguru had ever done for you, though, was not teach you manners. It was that he gave you someone to follow. Perhaps it was true that he was your shadow, but it was his in which you cowered when you were frightened, when the brightness of the world was too harsh for your eyes, which, when it came to cruelties and horrors, were as sensitive and new as a child’s.
Suguru was always happy to take on that role. He would stand in front of you, his shoulder blades pinching together as he puffed out his chest and rebuked whichever neighborhood child had dared to tease you. They all ran from him when he was like that, when his brow grew heavy over his eyes and the corners of his mouth twisted into a scowl.
Not you, though. You stayed behind his back, blinking owlishly at the way the others scurried, laughing along when Suguru likened them to mice with a click of his tongue.
Suguru didn’t like those who hurt the ones weaker than them, so you didn’t, either. Suguru thought that the role of the strong was to protect the frail, so you did, too. Whatever Suguru believed, you did as well, because what else was there for you? It was easier for you to hold onto his hand and press against his back, to allow him to tell you where to place your feet, so that there was never even a chance of you falling.
That was why it wasn’t a surprise that, upon Suguru being scouted as a sorcerer, you were extended the same invitation. It was a natural consequence — where he went, you followed, and so when he packed his things and went to Tokyo, it was both of your bags that he was carrying, while you peered around the train station and wondered what kind of place you were going to end up in.
Your new classmate was the one that picked the two of you up. He was tall — taller than even Suguru, though the majority of his body consisted of his legs — and had an unearthly appearance, with pale hair carefully mussed into a seemingly thoughtless style and black glasses which slid down the bridge of his nose to reveal eyes like diamonds.
He was the most brilliant thing you had ever seen. Lowering your eyes, you stepped back into Suguru’s shadow, earning you a scoff from your classmate and a worried exhale from your friend.
“Blech,” he said. “You’re supposed to be my classmate, really? How’re you going to keep up, huh? I’m the strongest sorcerer in the world, you know.”
“I think we’ll manage just fine,” Suguru said pleasantly, though there was an edge to his voice, his teeth like knives when he smiled and offered his hand. “I’m Suguru Geto.”
“Satoru Gojo,” your classmate said, shaking Suguru’s hand firmly. “Looking forward to working with you.”
“Likewise,” Suguru said. “And this is Y/N L/N.”
“Hi,” you said, swallowing even as you said it, pursing your lips and glancing around, wishing for some kind of escape. Gojo hummed and then poked you on the forehead.
“Aw,” he said when you did not visibly react beyond furrowing your brow. “I thought you might fall over or something.”
“I see,” you said. “Um. Well, it’s nice to meet you.”
“Yeah, yeah,” he said. “Come on. Let’s go before our teacher gives us all detention for playing hooky.”
Unlike Suguru, Gojo didn’t allow you to follow him around. He made fun of you when you were scared and poked you on the forehead if you cringed away from his taunts. The latter occurred so frequently that you were surprised there was not a permanent indent in your skin.
“One day I’ll get you, pretty Y/N,” he’d always promise you. “Seriously! I mean, you barely have a backbone in the first place, so it’s really a wonder you’re standing at all.”
At first, Suguru used to demand he stop, but as the months went by, his protests grew weaker and weaker. You supposed that it must’ve been nice for him, to stand beside someone for once instead of constantly throwing himself in front of them. You could not blame him, but you found that you missed him more with every passing day.
But what was there to be done about it? After all, you were nothing compared to the two special grade sorcerers. You did what you could and found it was, for the most part, sufficient, but sufficient would never let you exist beside either of them in any way that mattered. So you fell behind, and this time, it was not a conscious choice but an unavoidable circumstance. This time, when you hung back, Suguru continued forward without you.
Empty-minded and weak-hearted. That was what your teacher called you. He sent you on the simplest missions he could, and still you struggled. Sometimes, this meant you would sit alone in the classroom until it was long past dusk, listening to your teacher ramble and shout.
“You are not weak!” he would say, his hands clenched into fists by his side. “By all rights, your technique is perfectly serviceable. You are not weak, Y/N L/N!”
“Yes, sir,” you would respond meekly.
“At least, you should not be,” he’d say. “Yet somehow, inexplicably, you are. Even a Grade 2 curse nearly got the better of you. Your classmates are exorcising special grades on their own! Aren’t you disgusted with yourself?”
Suguru, and sometimes Gojo, would wait outside of the door for you, lingering until they heard the shuffle of your feet, the soft sniffles which announced your arrival. Then Suguru would wrap a casual arm around your shoulders and tell you that it was fine if you were weak, just as long as he was around to protect you, and Gojo would do that infuriating thing where he’d poke you in the forehead and pretend like it was a miracle you hadn’t toppled over yet.
Otherwise, you did not see your classmates. Shoko Ieri was far too busy learning to do things you could never hope to accomplish in your lifetime, and Suguru and Gojo were called on to complete assignments with such unhealthy regularity that their education actually suffered for it.
You never knew what they did on their missions. You never cared to ask, either. The details would only make you queasy, and in this new world where you were not permitted to shudder and seek out the safety that Suguru so willingly provided you with, you tried to avoid things like that. Harsh things, brilliant things, cruel things — all of them you ran from at an equal pace. Without Suguru there to defend you, you turned into one of those children he had so-despised in your youth. Always running. Always hiding. Always shying away from anything resembling a challenge.
It was after one such mission that Suguru returned differently. You knew he had changed because he crawled into your bed that night instead of his own, drew the blanket up around his shoulders and pressed his weeping eyes against your collarbones.
“It’s no good,” he said after the third time you had asked him what was the matter, your hands nervously skimming over his shoulders, smoothing over his rough hair. “Everything’s been ruined, Y/N. Or maybe it was always like this. Maybe you’re the only one who’s ever understood the world to begin with.”
The next morning, when his feet touched the ground and he slid out of your bed, you were hit with the strangest feeling that you would never see him again. Not in the way you were used to seeing him, anyways. Sitting up in your bed, leaning against your pillows, you watched as he left, though when he went to close the door behind him, you reached out your hand.
“Wait,” you said. He paused, raising his eyebrows.
“Is everything okay?” he said, his knuckles growing white from gripping the handle.
“I want to look at you,” you said. You knew without knowing that the instant the door shut between the two of you, you would lose him forever. Your best friend. Your shadow. You wished that there was a way you could reach out and save him, but the thought of you saving someone was outlandish. Impossible. Laughable.
“Yeah?” he said. There were heavy bags under his eyes, and it did not reach his irises, but nevertheless, he somehow managed to muster up a smile. It was not gentle as much as it was exhausted, but still, he smiled as best he could at you. “Okay.”
You hugged one of the pillows to your chest. “I miss you a lot.”
“I haven’t gone anywhere,” he said.
“Not yet,” you said. “I think you will someday, though. You’ll go somewhere far away, and I won’t be able to follow you there. You won’t even want me to.”
“What kind of place is that?” he said. “I’ll always want you to follow me around, Y/N. As long as I’m there, not a corner on this planet could be a place I don’t want you to follow me to.”
The door creaked shut. You stared at the blank expanse and thought to yourself that he had always been very good at lying.
From that day forward, there were two opposite phenomena which occurred simultaneously. On the one hand, that blinding radiance of Gojo’s was magnified by the minute, and on the other, Suguru withdrew further and further into a grey sort of monotony that, try as you might, you could not pull him from.
“Gojo,” you said one day, tugging on his sleeve and flinching when he turned to look at you. As per usual, he pressed his finger into your forehead.
“Yikes,” he said. “Seems like you’re still lacking in the spinal department, dear Y/N. But just so you know, I’ve cheated off of your math homework enough times that you really shouldn’t be scared of me.”
“Please help Suguru,” you said.
“Eh?” Gojo said. “What do you mean? Help him with what, his math homework? I’ll just give him yours to copy as well, so why don’t you cut the middle man and show it to him yourself?”
“No, not with — just, he’s going away, and I don’t want him to, but he doesn’t — you’re the only one,” you stammered.
It was even more difficult to speak with Gojo now than it had been when you had first come to school. That was because it was only recently that you were realizing that that way he made you feel, that shyness, that apprehension, was not because of his gleaming, sharp countenance, but rather something else, something soft in your heart that thudded to life whenever he smirked at you.
“You want me to take his mission for him?” Gojo said, his nose wrinkling. “What, so the two of you can go on a date or something? Forget about it.”
“What?” you said. “No, what — a date — that’s not what I meant!”
It was too late. Gojo was gone, and with him, your last chance at helping Suguru vanished, too. In fact, Gojo avoided you until you went home from the summer break, making a face whenever you glanced his way, and by the time you came back to start the next year, it was too late for anyone to do much of anything.
“Y/N L/N,” Masamichi Yaga said, entering the library where you were writing a paper for your literature class. He cleared his throat uncomfortably, his cheeks a dark, flushed color, his teeth gritted together so hard that a muscle in his jaw twitched periodically. “Do you have a moment? It’s urgent.”
“I was just working on the essay that we were assigned, but it can wait,” you said agreeably, all too eager to give yourself a break from the work. Pushing aside your paper and pen, you stood up, massaging your wrist. “What is it, sir?”
“It’s, er…” His shoulders slumped. “I’m really sorry, Miss L/N.”
You tried to run through the list of things that he could be sorry for, but only one thing came to mind. You froze, your eyes widening. He had been on a mission, hadn’t he?
“Suguru,” you breathed. “Is it — it’s not about Suguru, is it?”
“In a sense, it is,” Yaga said.
“Is he alright?” you said. “He has to be alright.”
“We believe his condition is fine, considering what he’s done,” Yaga said.
“‘What he’s done?’ Why are you being so vague? What’s going on, sir? Please say it plainly,” you said.
“It’s your parents, Miss L/N,” he said, spitting it out all at once like the phrase itself was poisoned. “They’re dead.”
Your stomach dropped. You had imagined so many things. In your nightmares, you saw your classmates dying, your teachers, even yourself. But never your parents. Your parents, who were so far removed from this awful world. Your parents, who only a month ago had sent you back to school with a pair of new shoes they had saved up to buy. You parents, who had never harmed anyone in their lives. What had they done that was so terrible it warranted such a sudden death? What were they being punished for?
“How — how did it happen?” you said. “Was it a curse?”
“Miss L/N…” Yaga said, his entire self deflating. “I’m really sorry.”
“What? Stop apologizing,” you said, tears gathering in your eyes. “Just tell me. Stop saying sorry and tell me!”
“It was most likely Suguru Geto,” he said, handing you a piece of paper. Your vision swam, and you could barely make out the words. All residents of the village were killed. Jujutsu High investigated. Based on residuals…all 112…the work of Geto’s curse manipulation. Sentenced to death. Sentenced to death. Sentenced to death.
“No,” you said, your voice cracking. “No, why would he do that? My parents loved him, and he loved them, too! We grew up together, so why would he do that?”
“Based on the evidence, he most likely killed his own parents, too,” Yaga said. Your hands wound themselves in your hair as you tugged.
“That’s a lie,” you said. “Suguru isn’t like that. Suguru is good! Suguru looks out for those weaker than himself! He protects people, Yaga. It must be a mistake. It has to be a mistake!”
“Miss L/N—” he began, but you were already running, sprinting as fast as you could. There was no way. There was no way. There was no way.
Your house and the one beside it — Suguru’s house, a voice in the back of your mind nagged you, that’s Suguru’s house — were blocked off with yellow caution tape. Dozens of police officers were milling about the scene, barking into handheld radios, conversing tensely. One of them noticed you and extended an arm to stop your approach.
“Stay back, ma’am. This is an active crime scene. No outsiders allowed until the investigation has been concluded,” the officer said.
“That’s my house,” you whispered. “Officer, that’s my house. Why are there so many people here? It’s not true, is it?”
The officer didn’t say anything, but he didn’t have to. The pitying frown on his face told you everything you needed to hear. It was true. It was true. Your parents, your parents were dead, and that meant —
What had it been like for them? Had your mother welcomed him? When she opened the door for him, had her eyes crinkled at the corners in greeting? Had she offered him tea, as she usually did, because she was so fond of him and he was so fond of the drink when made by her hand? And what of your father? Had he reached over to clap Suguru on the back, or had he tried to grab him in an affectionate headlock so that he could mess up his hair with all the zeal of a man half his age?
You threw up. Some of the vomit splattered onto the officer’s shoes, causing him to fold his lips into a thin, disapproving line. Taking a step back, he reached over to pat you on the back as you heaved and hacked, trying to expel the knowledge from your mind and finding that you were entirely unable to.
You walked back to the train station in a trance, your eyes reddened and glazed over, your mouth sour from the taste of the stale crackers the officer had handed you, your hands shoved in your pockets as you tried to remember to breathe through your nose. The officer had offered to escort you to the station, but you had refused. You needed the time to think, and anyways, what did it matter? No ordinary person could hurt you, and no sorcerer would.
“I didn’t think you’d come back alone,” a soft voice said from behind you. You turned around, your insides roiling at the very sound, your ears ringing as you took in Suguru’s casual posture. His hands, too, were in his pockets, and the streetlights cast misshapen, dancing shadows over his face, the effect worsened by the odd tilt of his head.
He was refusing to look at you. That was why he was standing like that. He couldn’t bear to look you in the eyes, and that was the only confirmation you needed.
“So what?” you said. “I did. Are you going to kill me next?”
“What?” he said. Briefly, he glanced up at you in alarm, and then, like he had remembered he didn’t deserve to feel betrayed by that kind of question, he slouched back down into the same apathy of earlier. “No.”
“Just do it,” you said. “Just do it, you fucking asshole! Why would — you — you killed my parents! You killed my parents, and now you’re just talking to me as if nothing happened? Why? Why would you…?”
His expression did not budge again. “They were filthy monkeys who deserved it.”
“Huh?” you said. The statement was so bizarre that, for a moment, your anger was forgotten. “What the fuck?”
“This world doesn’t need more non-sorcerers running around,” he said. “Every single curse you’ve ever fought, it’s their fault. Those idiots who don’t know how to control the meager amounts of cursed energy they have, they’re the ones who cause curses to manifest. You should be thanking me, Y/N. This’ll make your life that much easier.”
“Do you really think that's the case?” you said.
“Yes,” he said. “With my entire heart, I think that it is.”
You had always, always followed Suguru. When he said to protect the weak, you did so. When he said to take care of others, you did that, too. Whatever he told you to believe, you believed. But how could you do that this time? How could you believe in the person who had murdered your parents?
“You killed my parents because of your stupid theory,” you said numbly. “You killed my parents. Suguru, you killed my parents.”
You didn’t care about the one hundred and twelve villagers. That was the most shameful thing: if it had just been that, then you might still have followed him. He could’ve convinced you — no. You could’ve convinced yourself that it was fine, that he really was looking out for you in that peculiar manner of his. It wouldn’t have been impossible. Even now, your resolve was so weak, and it was only the thought of your parents that allowed you to cling to it at all.
“They asked about you,” he said dully. “I let them. My own parents, I didn’t give them a chance to say anything, but yours…I let them ask. I guess you could consider it my last favor to you.”
The ringing grew louder. You pushed your palms against your ears in an effort to drown it out, but you couldn’t. If anything, it just grew louder and louder, more and more insistent. You couldn’t shake it off. You couldn’t make it go away, just like you couldn’t make Suguru’s words go away.
“It was the only thing they worried about. In their last moments, it wasn’t their own lives they begged for…it was yours,” he said, his gaze far away, his irises unreadable as he recalled that moment. “How strange is that?”
“Shut up,” you said.
“I told them you were okay,” he said.
“Shut up,” you repeated, though it was unsteady and unconvincing. “Shut up, shut up.”
“They were pretty happy about that,” he said, in a tone filled with dreamy recollection. “They didn’t fight much after I promised you’d be okay. What simple creatures they must have been, that even while dying they could only think to rejoice!”
You screamed. It was wordless and brittle, a symptom of your lungs’ collapse as you broke into sobs, fumbling in your purse for your phone. Suguru watched as you unsteadily punched in a number you had never bothered to save, not trying to stop you, maybe not seeing the point.
“Gojo,” you said when he picked up, before he could even say anything. “Gojo, please just — can you come get me? Please come get me.”
“Okay,” he said, to your surprise. He didn’t argue or call it a waste of time or point out that you were still bawling as you spoke. “Where are you? I can be there pretty soon if I steal one of the managers’ cars, I think.”
“By my house,” you said. Suguru did not move, showing you his hands, as if he was giving you permission to do what you wanted. It was your choice. If you just told Gojo that he was with you, then you had no doubt he’d be apprehended within minutes.
“I see,” he said. “I’ll be there as quickly as possible.”
You were the one who hung up, not him. You were the one who made the decision. You were the one who looked at Suguru and then turned your back to him so that, for once, he was the one behind you.
“I can’t reconcile it,” you said, using the ends of your sleeves to blot at your tears as you hiccuped. “I can’t understand it. Even after everything, I still want to follow you. I still want you to be my shadow. I still want to be yours.”
Don’t turn. Don’t turn. Don’t turn. You couldn’t turn around. If you turned around, then that meant your old teacher was right. Empty-minded. Weak-hearted. You could not turn around.
A dry breeze rustled through the leaves on the ground, sounding like footsteps against pavement. Don’t turn.
You turned. You should’ve known better than to expect anything different from yourself. You had never been someone who could stand in the front for very long. You would always turn. You would always run and cower and hide.
Anything you might’ve said died on your tongue as you saw he was already gone. You were alone. You had let him go. You had allowed that mass murderer, that criminal, to walk away from you. What kind of a sorcerer were you? Empty-minded. Weak-hearted. That sort, then. The horrible sort.
When the headlights of the car Gojo had borrowed swung around the corner, you had long since curled up on the grass, your cheek to the mud as you tried to grasp what you had done.
“Hey,” Gojo said. “Y/N?”
He must’ve gotten out of the car at some point, because suddenly, he was crouching before you, pulling you to your feet, his limbs awkward and gangly as he cocked his head, still wearing those ridiculous sunglasses despite the darkness.
“I’m a piece of shit,” you said, and then you were clutching the collar of his uniform jacket. “Why am I like this?”
“What do you mean?” he said.
“He killed my parents,” you said. “He killed my parents, and I let him walk away.”
“Who?” Gojo said, but it was a rhetorical question. He knew who. You looked up at him miserably, and he shook his head slightly, like he couldn’t quite comprehend what you were saying. “You let who walk away?”
“I don’t think he was planning on seeing me,” you said, letting go of his shirt and pleading with him to understand. “We weren’t supposed to meet.”
“You saw Suguru,” Gojo accused, and now it was his turn to take you by the shoulders, his fingers digging into the muscle of your biceps, his eyes wild. “You saw him, and you didn’t tell me.”
Your lower lip trembled. “He killed my parents, Gojo.”
“That’s not true,” he said.
“It is,” you said. “It is, he told me it is, and I couldn’t even do anything when he said so.”
“Why?” Gojo hissed. “You only had to tell me! Why didn’t you tell me?”
“I just didn’t!” you said, and then you were crying again. “I couldn’t. Oh, they’re dead, and he killed them, he killed them, and they only asked about me when he did. Why am I the one who gets to live?”
His hands traveled from your arms to the nape of your neck, the heels of his palms pressing into your jaw as he tried to force you to look at him. But you couldn’t, of course you couldn’t, you hadn’t been able to before and you definitely couldn’t now.
“You know Suguru better than anyone. Don’t you think there’s something else at play?” Gojo said. He wasn’t asking for you. He was asking for himself. He wanted you to reassure him, tell him that it was alright, that his best friend wasn’t the monster you both knew he was. How was it fair? How could you be expected to reassure him?
You shoved him off of you. “No.”
“Then why’d you let him go?” Gojo said. “You must’ve thought that there was a reason, or else you would’ve told me. It’s the only explanation!”
“No, it’s not! The only explanation is that I’m shitty and weak and stupid, and I can’t help but rely on him. No matter what I do, I’ll rely on him! People like you don’t understand what it feels like. You can stand on your own, but I’m not like that!” you said, and then you were grabbing his hand — he always did that, you noticed, always turned his Infinity off for you even now that it was an automatic, constant process — unfurling his fingers and jabbing his index finger at your forehead. “Do you get it? You were right. I don’t have a spine. I don’t have one at all!”
“Pull yourself together, Y/N,” Gojo said. “He’s still out there. We just have to reach him before the others do, and then we can talk to him. If it’s the both of us, then he’ll listen. He’ll explain everything!”
“He already did,” you said. “You just don’t accept it, but that’s different than him not explaining at all.”
“So what, then? You’re just going to go back to the school and live your life as normal?” he said, scowling at you. “How could you even think of doing that? In what world does that make sense? You can’t go back and pretend like nothing happened!”
“It’s true. I can’t,” you said, because it was the fact you had been avoiding since the day you first set foot in the school, which you had always known in the back of your mind despite how you denied it. “I can’t go back at all. I can’t be a sorcerer.”
It was a rare thing to see Satoru Gojo speechless. If it were a lesser occasion, you might have laughed at the way his lips parted and his eyebrows knitted together in such a foreign way.
“Why not?” he said.
“I’m afraid I’ll follow him,” you said. “No, I know I will. If I stay, then I will definitely follow him.”
“You won’t,” Gojo said. “Follow me instead. Follow me if you have to, but you can’t leave. Not you, too.”
Another rarity: Satoru Gojo was afraid. Not of your absence, but of the changes it would bring. With Haibara gone, Suguru vanished, and then you…what would even become of the school? When so many pieces were taken away from it, could it even be considered the same place?
“I can’t end up like that,” you said. “I can’t even risk it. I became a sorcerer because of him; I’ll leave because of him, too. Anyways, you hate when I follow you. You prefer people who can stand on their own two feet. I know that about you now.”
“If you run away, I won’t forgive you for a long time,” he warned me.
“Then don’t,” you said, stepping away, though still facing him. “What good is your forgiveness, anyways? It won’t bring my parents back. It won’t bring Suguru back. I don’t even want you to forgive me, Gojo. I want you to hate me until you die.”
It was the last time you saw him for so long that his memory blurred away at the edges. The way he said your name, the way his hair shone in the sun, the slope of his nose and curve of his neck…once, these were things you might’ve been able to list with a great degree of accuracy. Not anymore, though. Now, if you thought of him at all, it was only that final image of him, framed by the headlights of that still-running car. It was not your name he had called out as you walked away from him, but something bitterer, a promise said with such sincerity it was all but a Binding Vow.
“Ten years,” he had said. “That’s how long I’ll hate you for. Not my entire life. Not until I die. Just for the next ten years.”
Life as an ordinary person was easy. Life without Suguru was harder. But you learned. You learned, through the years, how to stand on your own two feet. You learned how to live with only one shadow instead of two. You learned how to let your eyes adjust to light, gradually instead of all at once, so that it was an easy progression and free of pain.
There were times when you thought you had seen one or the other of the two who you had run from. There, across the street, was it Suguru reading the newspaper? Or in the bakery you walked past on your way to work, was it Gojo who was admiring the displays? They always vanished before you could grow close enough to ascertain their identities, though, remaining ever out of your grasp, existing as nothing more than phantoms in your periphery, refusing to let you forget the past entirely.
The first time you called Gojo was a year after you left the school. You weren’t expecting him to pick up, and when the automated message prompted you to leave a voicemail, you almost hung up in resignation. Something stopped you, though, and despite feeling entirely ridiculous, you cleared your throat.
“Ah, it’s Y/N. But I guess you probably knew that, considering you didn’t pick up. Well, I don’t have anything much to say, but I just wanted to call and make sure you were doing alright. I’m okay. The anniversary of my parents’ deaths is coming up, so I was planning on visiting their graves. I got a new job. Somewhere that I never would’ve expected to work when I was younger. It’s nice. I like my coworkers. They’re nothing compared to you, of course, but they’re fine enough. Anyways. Um. I guess that’s it. I don’t think you’ll call me back, but I just wanted to let you know I’m doing okay.”
It was a routine. Every year, on that day, you’d call him and leave him a voice message. He never once answered — you doubted he listened to the voicemails at all, either — but it soothed you to leave them, to leave one last connection to the world that had taken up so much of your life, and for so long.
More often than not, that time felt like a dream. If it weren’t for the thorned mourner’s bouquets which left pricks in your fingers or the ten calls you had made to Satoru Gojo, you wouldn’t have believed any of it had happened at all. Sorcery, curses, shadows and killers, best friends who betrayed you and boys you ran from, these were all things better suited to storybooks than real life.
Your mother’s favorite flowers had been roses, and you always made sure to bring some with you when you visited your parents’ graves. Roses for her and white chrysanthemums for your father, who had never had a preference for any particular flowers but was so sentimental that he would weep at any blooms being set by his headstone.
The roses were the ones that made the pads of your fingertips bleed, leaving bright red drops the same shade as their petals on the tissues you brought with you. You’d set the bouquet down and wrap your fingers with the tissues, watching as blood seeped through the thin paper, and then, without fail, you’d cry.
“It’s been so long without you,” you said, when enough time had passed that you could not be considered anything but an adult despite feeling like little more than a child. “It’s been so long, and I still don’t know what to do. Mother, father, I am grown now, yet constantly I wish I could ask you for advice. What was that song you’d always hum when I was tired, father? How did you make that tea of yours, mother? When did you know you loved one another? And a million other, sillier things. If I could think of nothing more pressing, I’d ask you about the weather, the time, and your plans for the weekend. I’d bid you a good morning and a good night. I’d complain about the rain and my job. Just as long as it meant I could talk to you again.”
You could not help it. You wept, bloody tissues fluttering to the ground as you ground your fists into your eyes, trying to stem the flow of your tears. Your breath came in quick, short gasps, and you rocked back and forth from your heels to your toes in an attempt to lull yourself into a state of calm. Back and forth. Back and forth. It was the only thing you could do, but it was not enough.
Someone’s hand settled upon your shoulder, and it had been so long since you had felt even a semblance of physical affection that you did not immediately bat them away. Instead, your own hands fell to your sides, your head hanging as you watched the newcomer set a bouquet beside the one you had brought. Orchids and lilies. Lovely, pale things that contrasted sharply with the red of the roses next to them.
“You said in your voicemail that you’d be here at this time. I hope it’s okay that I came.”
It was Satoru Gojo. He no longer wore the sunglasses you remembered him to; instead, a black blindfold was wrapped around his eyes and forehead, causing his pale hair to stick up like he had been shocked. He did not quite smile when he noticed that you were looking at him, but something resembling that expression crossed his face.
“Gojo,” you said. “Why are you—?”
“It’s been long enough,” he said. “You’re a really hard person to hate, Y/N L/N. I did my best, but it was difficult. I hope that you know that.”
“So you’ve come to, what, tell me you forgive me?” you said. “Thanks, but I don’t need it. It’s as I said: your forgiveness means nothing.”
“Nah,” he said, and then he was grabbing your hand and squeezing it tightly. “I’ve come to bring you back to sorcery with me.”
“What?” you said. “No. I quit.”
“You didn’t quit, you ran,” he reminded you.
“That’s the same thing,” you said. He grinned. It was the kind of grin that would’ve blinded you when you were younger, but you found that it was not so brilliant anymore. You found you liked it even more than you once had.
“Not in my books,” he said.
“Gojo, I’m not strong enough. I can lead a normal life without you and Suguru and the others, but if you throw me back into sorcery, I know I’ll cave,” you said. “I’ll turn back into that cowardly little girl I once was. I’ll seek out that shadow which I’ve spent so long learning to exist without.”
He sighed, and then he poked you in the forehead. “Not the case. See, you didn’t even waver this time! I think you finally did it, Y/N. You grew a spine.”
“Why do you want me to come back?” you said. “I’m not strong like you. I won’t give you anything you don’t already have.”
“It’s selfish,” he said. “I don’t want to tell you because it’s selfish, and you’ll laugh at me.”
“If you don’t tell me, then I won’t even consider it,” you said. Though his eyes were covered by the blindfold, you could sense him rolling them based solely on the way he pouted.
“I’ve spent the last ten years hating you for leaving us — for leaving me behind,” he said. “Everyone else was gone. I needed someone, but you left too, and then I really was alone. I want to drag you back into hell because I can’t face it by myself anymore.”
There were things left unsaid in that. Why you, for one? He could have anyone in the world, so why, after ten years, had he come to find you specifically? Why was it now that he could no longer bear the hell that was sorcery alone? But Gojo was not the sort who ever revealed his true self if he could help it, so you supposed those things would have to go unsaid for a little longer.
“Okay,” you said.
“Okay?” he said.
“Okay,” you said. “I’ll come back, but I have a condition.”
“What is it?” he said.
“The next time I leave, or run away, or quit, don’t hate me for quite as long,” you said. “Don’t hate me at all. I know I told you that I want you to hate me until you die, but I don’t anymore.”
“Okay,” he said.
“Okay?” you said, in a direct mirror of your previous exchange.
“Okay,” he said. “Come on, then. Follow me.”
“Oh, that, too,” you said. “I won’t follow you. If that’s what you’re expecting, then you can forget about it. I cannot allow myself to follow anyone ever again. I cannot be that weak, or I’ll become someone I despise. Someone I don’t want to be, ever again.”
His expression morphed into one of shock, and then he did something so odd as to be beyond all rationality and logic. He beamed at you before patting you on the head. It wasn’t condescending; it was the kind of gesture that was like a promise, or a warning, depending on who you asked. Maybe in this case, it was both.
“It’s alright. Actually, it’s better if you don’t,” he said. “I like you more when you don’t follow anyone at all.”

Tumblr media
“hey bee.” you heard ellie say from behind you. you were sitting at a small booth in the cafe waiting anxiously for her appearance, you even thought maybe she got too scared to meet up and she was going to bail. you inhaled and let out a heavy breath, you haven’t seen her for almost a month, probably the longest you’ve gone without each other. your heart is raising as you both stand there and stare at each other, she’s messing with her fingers and tapping her foot. you finally speak up.
“here come sit…” you told ellie and she slowly walked to you and sat.
“so talk ellie.” you both sat in front of each other, you ran your eyes up and down ellie. she was twiddling her thumbs, you could tell she was trying to figure out where to start.
“okay, i know you hate me right now and i get it i really do, i am a complete asshole. i want to first genuinely say sorry, for everything, for cat, for not taking you out, for just being a genuine dick to you. you don’t deserve what i’ve done. i wish there was a way i could make it up to you but i know there isn’t and there probably never will be.” she sighed and you stayed completely focused not wanting to interrupt.
“do you remember that time when you had your birthday party and no one came but me?”
“well dina and jesse came too….”
“well still- do you remember the pact we made?” you looked at her confused and nodded.
“that we would stick together no matter what happens.”
“ellie what does this have to do with anything-“ you hated that day, despised it even.
———————————————————————————
flashback to the birthday
you were so excited for the day, everything was decorated and you had your prettiest dress on. you were turning 16 it was a big birthday for you. you had made custom invitations and everyone had RSVP’d for the day. you weren’t the most popular but you invited everyone you knew and they told you they were coming. your mom got the coolest cake you had ever seen, the decorations was everything you had wanted and more. streamers hanging from the ceiling, the tables laid out with table cloths and set with center pieces. your mom already bought the catering and you were just sitting waiting for guests to come, you kept checking the time as it was close to 2pm, the time of your party. you heard the door bell ring and ran to open it excited to see who was on the other side. you opened the door to find ellie jumbling three big gifts in her hands.
“hey bee!”
“um do you need help…”
“no no….well maybe.” you laughed at her and grabbed the two gifts on the top of the pile.
“why so many gifts els?”
“because you’re 16!! its a big birthday you deserve it!” you laughed at her response and led her to the gift table. once you dropped the gifts on the table she came and gave you a huge hug picking you up off the ground. you giggled at the feeling of her holding you.
“is anyone else here yet?” she asked as she was putting you down.
“no no yet but it is also barely 2pm.” she nodded and then you guys heard the door bell ring again. you both ran to see who it was.
“heyyy happy birthday!!!” dina and jesse were behind the door. you smiled at them and then giggled at jesse carrying all the gifts you assumed dina brought. she pushed jesse slightly and gave you a huge hug.
“ugh i’m so excited for this! i got you so many things i know i went a little crazy…”
“you didn’t have to really.”
“but its your big day!! i had to go all out!”
“damn it d, you got more than i got…” ellie lightly punched dina and you laughed at them fighting over the gifts. jesse walks over to you and hugs you.
“happy birthday dude! you look great!” he pulled away and you smiled up at him thanking him. you had been suck into a convo with jesse you didn’t even realize your mom coming into the living room.
“hey guys what’s up!” ellie immediately running over to your mom hugging her, you almost had thought your mom liked ellie more than you.
“is it just you guys right now?” they all nodded and you all went out to the backyard to grab some snacks while you waited for everyone else to come. as the hour went it was 3 and then 4 and then 5 and still no show of anyone else. you were inside talking to your mom while the three were in the backyard.
“are you sure you gave everyone the invites?”
“yes mom i did i swear!”
“maybe they got the wrong date?” you shook your head, you knew everyone knew the date because everyone had asked you yesterday that it was today, you knew they knew.
“no no i-i know they kn-know.” you felt that awful feeling in your throat, it was burning. you felt the tears built up and then heard your mom say a light, oh honey, as she pulled you in for a hug. once you felt your head on her chest the tears falling and the sobs taking over your body. you must’ve been so loud that everyone came in and was silent. you looked over at them and they all had sad looks on their faces, you continued to sob as they all walked over to you and hugged you.
“they’re not coming.” you let out a hiccup as your tears started to subside. everyone pulled away and waited for you to say something.
“i feel so stupid.” you started to walk to your room, you threw your little crown off and took your sash off, you stumbled into your room and fell onto your bed face first. you groaned into your pillow and heard someone walk in.
“hey bee.” she walked over to you and sat on your bed next to you, taking her hand and rubbing your back.
“hi els.” you mumbled and turned over slightly to look at her. she had a sad smile on her face and moved the hair from your face.
“i look stupid don’t i.”
“no you look beautiful.” your face turned red and you smiled slightly at her comment.
“hey there you are.” she pulled your limp body up to sit against her, she ran her hand through your hair.
“you know what fuck those guys you know? we have always had so much fun together, we don’t need anyone else.” you looked at her and smiled. you both sat in silence for a second until ellie spoke up again.
“lets make a pact.”
“okay like what?” you looked at her with curiosity.
“we will stick together no matter what, nothing and i mean nothing will get in between us and if it tries to we stick together no matter what.” you thought about her words for a second and not a second more you respond.
“okay deal.” you both shook on it and nodded at each other.
“good, now we have a shit ton of food, games and you have gifts to open, a fuck ton! so lets get in some comfy clothes and go have fun with our friends!” you shook your head and that day flipped around and ended up being the best night ever.
———————————————————————————
you shifted in your seat wondering where she’s going with this.
“that we would stick together not matter if one of us is a complete asshole and doesn’t deserve the other. i know you don’t even want to see me right now and i know what i did was so fucking shitty. i feel like an asshole, i know that won’t change what i did and i don’t know what will but i want to at least start over.” ellie stopped and grabbed your hands to hold.
“we can be slow, stay friends for now and whenever you are ready we can be more, o-or we don’t even have to at all and just stay friends, whatever is best for you. i will really do anything for you.” you stayed silent and it felt like your body was stiff, not wanting to move in inch letting her continue.
“i love you bee to the moon and back, even farther than that. i care about you a lot and i was so stupid to do what i did, i will be apologizing for the rest of my life. please just give me one more chance.”
“who says you’ll stick to your word, i’ve giving you so many chances ellie.”
“look i know i know and i really am sorry that you even had to give me one chance to begin with but i promise you this time is different. i blocked cat on everything and told her to leave us alone, yo-you can even talk to dina if you have to i promise this is the last time we will ever have to do this. you deserve the world and more and i want to be the one to give it to you.”
“let me see that you blocked her.” ellie pulls away and immediately pulls out her phone, she hands it to you unlocked. you go to every social media app and she was right, she blocked her on everything. you even went and checked her apps and saw no evidence and there really was nothing. you nodded and handed her the phone back, she took it and grabbed your hands again. you have since made up your mind and took a deep breath and finally spoke.
“fine, but we can be friends for now and we will see how i feel later.” she smiled and kissed your hands.
“i really am serious bee i will give you the whole world and more.” you sent her a soft smile, you felt like you could trust her. something felt different this time, you didn’t know if it was the way she apologized and even came with evidence that she was ready to start again or the fact that it just seemed genuine.
“i believe you.” she did, she has been everything you could’ve ever dreamed of. everything went back to normal, but it was different this time. ellie took you places, bought you things, took care of you when you didn’t feel good. it was the bare minimum but the way she did it seemed to mean more. after the talk you guys had it seemed like you two were back to normal, you went out for dinner that night and went to watch a movie. not once did her attention leave you that night, her eyes had been on you even during the movie. she was so happy to see you happy again, and it was happy with her. you couldn’t stop smiling that night.
———————————————————————————
fast forward (a year)
you woke up to the sun shining on you from your big window in you and ellie’s shared room. you looked over at her side and felt the cold bedsheets on your fingertips, you frowned at the emptiness of the bed but the smell of pancakes woke you up. you stretched and got out of your bed, putting on a robe feeling the cold of winter and throwing some slippers on. you made your way to the kitchen and saw ellie dancing to dolly parton, you giggled and ellie turned to see you peaking at her. you made your way over to her, she pulled you into her and swayed you back and forth to the music.
“good morning beautiful.” the pet names never got old. after your talk it only took about two months till you were together. once the school year ended you all got a gorgeous apartment close to campus but in the city. you all lived together still of course, you couldn’t think to leave each other. you all were still doing gigs and getting your names out there. you guys were getting big doing gigs at bigger places and actually having a fan base. all your lives changed for the better and it felt amazing. ellie had been amazing, taking you out, posting you everywhere, bragging about you at any chance she could. she spoils you like crazy, and you mean crazy. she really proved herself right and kept her promise.
“good morning.” you giggled at the swaying and she started to kiss down your neck.
“you came out too early actually i was going to bring you breakfast in bed.”
“awe how sweet of you honey.” you gave her a peck on the lips and she pulled you back again for a longer kiss. you both smiled into the kiss and she immediately turned away.
“oh shit my pancakes!!” she flipped the pancake on the pan and it was burnt. you laughed at her cussing at herself.
“you gotta go lay back down baby you’re distracting me.”
“oh im distracting you?” you giggled at her and started to walk back to the room, you were fully turned away and you had a devious thought. you slowly removed the top half of your robe to show you didn’t have anything underneath and turned to make sure she was looking.
“oh baby you can’t do that!” she started to walk towards you and you ran back into the room yelling out.
“your pancakes though!” you heard her groan as you sat back into the bed. you laughed out loud and laid back down. as you waited for ellie to finish you went on your phone and looked through your photos. you were reminiscing on the tons of pictures and videos of you and ellie. it felt super cheesy but you were so glad about the position you all were in. you didn’t realize how long you had been looking until you heard footsteps entering the room. you turned over to see ellie holding a tray of delicious looking food a small card and a huge bouquet of flowers.
“what’s all this!” you sat up and helped her as her hands were full.
“i wanted to celebrate.” you looked at her confused.
“what’s there to celebrate?”
“i haven’t told anyone else but i got an email this morning about a company that wants to sign us on.” you gasped loudly and hugged her.
“oh my god are you serious?!”
“yes they want us to come in on monday and sign the contract. bee were getting signed.”
“holy shit this is huge are you kidding me?!” she nodded yes and kissed you. you fell back into the bed as she kissed all over your face.
“okay lets eat and get ready i have the day planned for us all.” you smiled at her and gave her another kiss.
“why did you get me flowers though and a card-“
“because i like spoiling you.” you giggled at her response and started eating.
———————————————————————————
you guys finished and ellie proposed the idea to announce the news together. so that’s where you both were now, standing in front of dina and jesse in the kitchen.
“so we have major news.”
“oh my god are you guys engaged?!” dina excitedly screeched.
“no no, not yet at least.” ellie said and you shoved her arm.
“well what is more major than that-“ dina elbowed jesse and told him to shut up.
“i got an email this morning from a major company…” ellie started and gestured you to finish.
“were getting signed on monday!!!” we all cheered together and it all felt surreal. we were getting signed, our dream for years and its finally happening. you felt so many emotions at once, you really just felt the love of your best friends, the excitement of what’s to come and the feeling of relief that everything worked out for you all. you hugged ellie and kissed her.
“i love you bee.”
“i love you more els, so so much.”
“together not matter what?”
“no matter what.” you kissed again and celebrated with your best friends, your people.

Sunghoon, perched atop a cafeteria table, stared at his phone, figuring out the best way he could tell his teammate they were no longer a team.

New notification from munchsshin
Sunghoon scoffed out loud. What was M/n doing texting him? Plotting? Probably. No matter how disgusted Sunghoon felt even just having M/n's name atop his home screen, he pressed the notification anyways.
munchsshin
What are you doing tonight?
caphoon
Wrong number, jerk
Sunghoon thought that maybe M/n meant to send that to one of his bros. There's no way he'd ask him that.

"Fuck," Sunghoon groaned.
Taking a deep breath—one, two, three—he walked inside.
The moment he entered, his senses were overwhelmed. The air was thick with the stench of cologne and the sound of pop music marred by bleeped-out curse words. With every step, someone shouted his name or patted him on the back.
Stay cool, stay cool, he chanted in his head, forcing himself to relax as he responded with nods and brief greetings.
Navigating through the crowd, he made his way to the main ballroom, scanning for someone who wouldn't demand more than a quick hello. Then he saw him: Shin M/n, back up to the wall as he jutted out in laughter.
He was talking to two Enha students—Heesung and Jake, the team's outside hitter and setter, respectively. They were also the only openly gay couple in the sports department, and they didn't shy away from flaunting it.
Heesung had his arm around Jake's waist, while Jake rested his head on Heesung's chest. They seemed to be in their own world, oblivious to the chaos around them.
"Hey," Sunghoon greeted as he approached. The two turned, and Jake's smile was blinding.
"Oh, look at the captain showing up to a party," Heesung said cheerfully, playfully nudging Sunghoon's arm.
"Knock it off," Sunghoon rolled his eyes.
Heesung's grin remained. "I'm proud of you," he teased.
"Oh, it's the big bad Park Sunghoon," M/n's voice cut through, and Sunghoon recognized him immediately. He suppressed a scowl as he turned to see M/n standing next to him, holding a red Dixie cup filled with something stronger than just Minute Maid.
Sunghoon raised an eyebrow. "Are you drunk?"
"He's been trashed ever since we found him in the hallway," Jake said, frowning. Jake's frown was rare, so it was clear this was serious.
"Aww, don't say that," M/n whined as if Jake's concern was a secret.
Sunghoon's frown deepened. "What do you mean, 'found him' in the hallway?"
Heesung's voice took on a somber tone. "We found him upstairs, stumbling and mumbling. We're not sure exactly what he was saying, but he's clearly wasted."
Sunghoon's eyebrows knitted together. M/n was usually so composed. "How much has he had?"
Heesung shrugged. "He's downed, like, four of those things over there."
"Five!" M/n interrupted loudly.
Sunghoon studied M/n, trying to gauge his state. He'd never seen him out of it like this before.
"We thought we should stay with him before he does something stupid," Jake said. Heesung nodded, his concern evident.
Sunghoon glanced at the nearby Fifty-Forty group. "Where's his team? They wouldn't just let him get this drunk."
"They're over there," Heesung said, pointing to the Fifty-Forty students by the bar. "But they're the ones giving him the drinks."
"What? Intentionally?"
Jake and Heesung both nodded. "We tried asking, but they kept dodging. Just saying, 'He's a big boy. He can handle it.'"
Sunghoon's mind raced. Fifty-Forty was notorious for their partying, but this level of intoxication was unusual for M/n.
"Hey, do you think—" Heesung began, his eyes fixed on the Fifty-Forty students, who seemed to be watching M/n. Sunghoon followed his gaze. The Fifty-Forty students were indeed watching them. An uneasy feeling settled in his stomach.
"Can I talk to you for a moment? Alone?" Heesung's tone was off, suggesting something was bothering him. Sunghoon nodded, leading him to a quieter corner as he left M/n to Jake.
"They're plotting against him, Sunghoon. Fifty-Forty hates Shin M/n," Heesung said, his tone heavy with urgency.
Sunghoon's head snapped up. "What do you mean?"
"He's the son of the team's coach," Heesung explained. "Coach Shin is M/n's father."
"Coach Shin?" Sunghoon asked in disbelief, struggling to process the information.
Heesung nodded. "Yeah. And they're planning something tonight. They're aiming to take him upstairs."
Sunghoon's shock was evident. "I don't understand. If Coach Shin is his dad, why do his teammates hate him so much?"
Heesung's expression grew more somber. "They think M/n's getting special treatment because of his father. They're jealous and resentful, and I think they feel immense pressure from Coach Shin."
Sunghoon's mind raced, trying to piece together the implications. "So, they plan to do this while he's drunk?"
Heesung hesitated before nodding. "Yes. They want him incapacitated so he can't defend himself."
Sunghoon's anger surged, his fists clenching tightly in a protective reflex. He felt a burning need to act.
"This isn't right, we can't sit here and watch. Let's try... plan XO."
Heesung's eyes widened slightly. "Plan XO? Are you sure?"
Sunghoon's resolve hardened. "I may not like him, but I can't sit and watch him be roofied like this."
Plan XO was an evacuation plan the Enha team had devised back in their freshman year. Despite its ridiculous name, it was a well-thought-out escape strategy involving a diversion, a tactical conflict, and a smooth exit. Now, it seemed like the only way to protect M/n from the dangerous situation brewing around them.
Sunghoon and Heesung quickly made their way back to the main room, where Sunghoon's mind was racing through the steps of Plan XO. He spotted Jake and signaled him to follow. Jake's eyes were wide with understanding as he fell in step behind Sunghoon and Heesung.
"We need to get M/n out of here," Sunghoon said urgently. "Jake, you and Heesung create a distraction. I'll handle M/n."
Jake nodded. "Got it."
As Jake and Heesung began to stir up a commotion by getting onto some tables and expressing their undying love for each other, Sunghoon turned his focus back to M/n, who was still leaning against the wall with a bemused look. Sunghoon approached him, trying to keep his voice calm and reassuring.
"M/n, we need to get you out of here. You're not safe."
M/n blinked, clearly confused. "Why? What's happening?"
"No time to explain," Sunghoon said, grabbing M/n's arm gently but firmly. "Just trust me."
He guided M/n through the crowd, carefully avoiding the gaze of the Fifty-Forty students who were now fully engaged in the distraction Jake and Heesung had orchestrated.
For a moment, their eyes locked, and Sunghoon saw a flicker of something in M/n's gaze—a mixture of relief and vulnerability. Without thinking, he gently pulled M/n into a hug. M/n tensed for a second, then relaxed, resting his head on Sunghoon's shoulder.
They stood there in the quiet alley, surrounded by the faint sounds of the distant party and the gentle hum of the city. Sunghoon could feel M/n's heartbeat against his chest, and he realized just how much this moment meant to both of them.
When they finally pulled away, M/n looked up at Sunghoon with a small, grateful smile. "I didn't expect that..."
Sunghoon's heart skipped a beat. "Neither did I. But it was nice... I guess."
They shared a moment of silence, just looking at each other. It was as if the noise and chaos of the party had faded away, leaving them in a cocoon of their own.
It was safe. For now.

Masterlist
Hey, I figured it was about time I sat down and put one of these together, as I have a lot of fics and it can be rather confusing, even for me.
I’ve split them into categories, gen, ship fics and series. I have also linked a few of my cosplay posts.
I am very much ship and let ship.  I realize that not everyone out there ships the same people.  I am too old and too tired to get into shipping wars and discourse.  I have literally about a thousand other things I would rather do than judge someone based on their shipping preferences.  I don’t block or blacklist or go through people’s profiles to see what they ship.  There is no DNI if you ship xyz or if I find out you ship xyz you will be blocked.  I don’t have time for that.  If I don’t like something I see on someone’s feed, I move on with my life.  That said, I’ll give almost anything a read.  I realize that is not everyone’s cup of tea and I respect that.
Tumblr media
I would sincerely appreciate the same courtesy.  If you see something I have written here and it is not your jam, absolutely fine, no hard feelings.  Please don’t be like, oh, I’d love to read this but it has xyz ship in it, eww.  We’re all adults here.  Fandom is supposed to be fun, let’s keep it that way, shall we?
