Perry grunts in acknowledgement.

"Now where is-is it this one, pumpkin?"

"Th-dad, no, mom bought me this new one last week, it's got orange decals and I snapped the holster off."

"What does an MP3 player need a holster for? Doesn't it play music?"

"It's not actually-I meant the little clip in the back I use to pin it to my belt when I'm out, I snapped it off at school last Tuesday which is why I can't pin in it on me-,"

"Which explains why you lost it, ok, I think I get the picture. Have you tried your room?"

"Yes, dad, that's the first place I checked. Are you sure we can't boot Norm up to let him scan this place?"

"I told you, pumpkin, he's been on that Minecraft server behind my back and skipping on enough of his charging time that he's getting cranky, so he's on time out. Also he's way too loud, he's going to wake Perry up. Have you checked the balcony by my lab? You like pacing there."

"I wasn't up there last week!"

Perry growls in warning, eyes kept shut. The voices shush themselves apologetically.

"I wasn't up there last week." Vanessa repeats herself, much more quietly.

"Well, you can try it anyway if we don't find it in here. Check my vinyl rack, I might have put it away and forgot about it."

As Vanessa patters further away, a more familiar presence looms over Perry's prone, half asleep figure. He does not acknowledge it, hoping it will go away.

Heinz sighs, both fond and exasperated in equal measure. "Alright, get up."

Perry doesn't move.

"This is going to go by a lot quicker if you co-operate. I need to search the cushions. "

Perry only shuts his eyes tighter, and moves his hat so that it fully covers his face, keeping out even the faint orange light of the fire.

Heinz sighs again, and soon enough Perry feels his tucking his hands between Perry's back and the cushions, trying to wedge his hands in the crannies despite the sluggish obstacle above them.

It tickles a little, and Perry wiggles.

Heinz huffs. "Oh for Gott's sake, will you-,"

Quick as flash, Perry wraps his arm around Heinz's unsuspecting figure and tugs him fully down. Heinz yelps, tucking his arms in as Perry twists them around, pinning the scientist down against the back of the sofa, but before he could start yelling, Perry began to pepper raspberries all across Heinz's scrunched up face. The scientist began to laugh.

"I found it! It was on the key plate next to the-oh gross. Dad...,"

Perry releases his captive hold on his lover, and Heinz stumbles to the floor, disheveled and winded with laughter. "Phew, sorry, Pumpkin, just got distracted."

"Perry, I thought you were supposed to be sleeping."

I am. The agent answers innocently, and to drive the message home he leans his head back into the cushion of the armrest and snores theatrically. Vanessa throws a pillow at him.

"Come on, sweetie, I'll spare your mother the trouble and drive you home. Perry'll hold down the fort."

Perry's shut his eyes again, properly settling back down, though he briefly crosses his heart.

"Ugh, you guys are so gross. I'm gonna wait in the car."

Perry hears her footsteps walking away, followed by a slamming door, before he allows his previously suppressed grin overtake his face. Heinz huffs again, clearly bemused.

"She used to think you were so cool."

Perry raises his eyebrows, then signs with some measure of offense. I am cool.

Heinz cackled. "Oh, sure. She doesn't think it anymore."

Perry hums, already falling back asleep. His signs are sluggish as he points out, You think I'm cool.

Heinz makes some sort of incredibly affectionate noise. "You are cool."

The edge of Perry's smile quirks up, a smug indication of see? As he feels Heinz leaning down however, it melts into besotted curl, reciprocating the sweet press of lips like a hot cup of cocoa on a cold December afternoon.

"Get some sleep." Heinz says, right against his lips. "I'll be right back."

Perry trusts that he will be. He's fast asleep even before Heinz locks the door behind him.

Ok, yes the Perry the Platypus thing is cursed in so many ways. But it did remind me something I love about Phineas and Ferb.

Doofenshmirtz speaks Platypus. He understands Perry's chatters, and in the Crossover episode with Milo Murphy's Law, Doof has to translate Perry's speech to the MML cast. And although he messes up once, it's almost totally accurate.

While it's unclear if this is just a general ability that the Danville cast has (since the episode with the animal translator shows that Perry doesn't actually talk to Phineas and Ferb and co., just meaninglessly chatters at them, and we don't know if they'd understand speaking chatters), I like to believe this means that Doof learned to speak Platypus.

The question is, was this before or after he met Perry, and if it was after he met Perry, when and why? My personal headcanon is that Doof did it very shortly after he met Perry solely because he was convinced Perry was insulting him every time he spoke, and was surprised to find it was actually all rather heartfelt and sincere "I've foiled you again my beloved nemesis" kind of stuff. But I'm curious what other people think.

Honestly between the fact that Doofenshmirtz was raised by ocelots (and is legally classified as one), and the fact that his -inators are actually fully functional and do what he intends, I assume he just built something that gave him the ability to communicate with animals.

Ok I’m not gonna lie. This dose of tea took me a minute to compile together because my gosh did the video Ryan share poke the hornets nest 😂😂 and the results brought out ALL the insiders with the dish on what happened behind the scenes with the bt fandom. Main take away was they are two schools of thoughts. 1) Pretend it never happened and act like everything is sunshine and daisies. 2) Acknowledgement of the video and absolutely blame Ryan and only Ryan for all the world’s problems. You’ll also probably notice how as time goes on from the original Ryan share, their response and actions to it get more and more unhinged 💀 though 1 seems to have seen the light as you will see, and then another one (one of the leaders of the Bt fandom) and I agree with the spy in terms of the thought of it being horrifying, has apparently decided she now wants to love Eddie again and write fics about him. Which as the post says, she had been one of most foul toxic horrible takes on Ryan and Eddie since Tommy arrived, including being the one who made that horrible video about Eddie having a 💀 attempt mirror Ryan’s , so no thanks. Keep her far away from both.

Ok. So I have seen a lot of theories about a possible Just Dance movie and who could play who. Now, first off after JD2018 there was going to be AN ACTUAL JUST DANCE MOVIE, but it was put into hiatus once they couldn't find a writer, so if they were to bring this project back, here's my fan casting. Also keep in mind I'm assuming the film is animated. Also assuming it just focuses on the main story mode lore.

So first of course, Wanderlust.

I think Pharrell would be a great Wanderlust. He has a very expressionate and passionate voice, and he already has experience voice acting. Plus, I think it would be a really cool circle back to the fact that one of Jessy's first maps was a Pharrell map. Also it'll make more sense when I say who I would fan cast as Sara.

Next, Sara.

Other then the fact that I would let this woman hit me with a truck, Tori Kelly is a very talented voice actress. She has the shy and hates the spotlight but has so much more to her voice down. And her pre established chemistry with Pharrell? OH MY GOD THEY WOULD KILL IT. I'm literally watching Sing 2 while writing this lol but I would DIE to see these two in these roles.

Next let's do Mihaly.

A. Ivory Aquino is an amazing actress B. Also an amazing trans activist. In my head they were the easiest to cast as Mihaly because that's just who I see playing them.

Brezziana next!

You probably know her as the voice of Amethyst from Steven Universe, but I soooo agree with @anja-the-sane-sibling about this one, she would make an amazing Brezziana.

Ok this one... i'm not set on. Anja said the voice of Ash, from Fantastic Mr. Fox, and while I agree 100% the actual actor is... really old. This is another actor (Josha Stradowski) who I think could could ace it, but you guys have any other suggestions that would be great:)

OK OKOK!! I have a couple in hand not much but some :D (I went on a rant I’m so sorry)

Let’s start with my two obvious favourites

1. Buford x phineas, sure bully x nerd cliche but this is a different type of relationship I see.

Slowly but surely they become close friends and even buddies, I feel like Buford would be a the same just less defensive with phineas and his random unhinged moments. Usually listening phineas rant about what seems to be a bug (or other things) and what type of bugs he’s allowed and not allowed to eat (summer belongs to you episode), and Buford would talk about his fish they both could keep each other going if they didn’t have their best friend (baljeet and ferb) they can remind each other of the small things they forget say perhaps phineas waking up as early as Buford does. Or reminding Buford to take care of himself once in a while that type of thing. As much as Buford tried to be a bully he has a limit of being a bully and honestly he isn’t so bad of a guy and I can see phineas reading that pretty well.

Their dynamic would be like..not like baljeet and Buford’s it just as much as a symbiotic relationship but a lil differently. Clownfish and anemones!!! That’s their relationship! Buford’s the anemone and phineas is the clownfish! (Ironic because of his shirt) it’s healthy and they keep each other going and safe! (Also phineas would prolly help with biff alot)

2. Perry the platypus x Peter the panda

Yeah I know I doubt Perry likes Peter after doof ‘cheated’ on him with Peter but when they work together (when they saved doofenshmirtz) I feel like Perry’s bitterness would fade slowly. (Also the time they went on a date when they fixed the balloon) as it did happen. Perry would find a way to get Peter in the picture, long term relationship wise. Their dynamic is kinda like ‘I secretly love you but I have to much of a lone wolf ego to say it’ and Peter ‘I know.’ Peter understands Perry’s relationship with Heinz and respects what was probably said boundary wise. The two having to listen to their nemesis or not listen it would be nice to just be with someone you can open up to even if it means in your own agency. And different species. It’s like a..hero x hero typa thing! They can keep each other up and going if their nemesis gets abit..much..I also feel like he’s be texting Peter on how stupidly naive Heinz could be and Peter rant about mysterious (what’s his name) being too closed off to open abit more.

Ok this one is especially weird- like ‘wtf 🤨’ weird

3. Lawrence x Heinz; OK hear me out (pls)

They had one interaction (when Lawrence temporarily became evil..it didn’t last) I didn’t think of it, it’s the dynamic I thought of.

Lawrence watching as Heinz talks to himself about it some platypus and the explosion leaving marks behind he would probably tend to the dirt and messes. Listening to Heinz rant and rant and rant- and when Heinz is done he’d ask for Lawrence’s info about antiques and such and they’d just share each others special interest (ADHD + Autism) and he’d take care of norm every once and awhile so Heinz doesn’t flip out on him. It’s healthy and Heinz would be so affectionate (probably) AND ferb would get to meet Heinz which works out to help Heinz make some fun inator’s (not evil Heinz’s attention would be on ferb and Lawrence’s safety his own is irrelevant) Lawrence would be oblivious to the evil but not to oblivious to see the inator’s. He’d prolly go “what is this dear?” -L

“It’s my new inator that vines down to a traumatic period of my life!” -H

“That’s healthy to put it in scientific technology. Do you want to talk about it over some almond brittle and tea?”-L

IT WOULD BE ADORABLE. (In my eyes)

4. Buford x ferb.

Alright almost the same thing as BxP but ferb’s silent demeanour would probably have an affect with Buford’s bully behaviour. Like put them in a room together Buford would say a couple mean things then suddenly he’s quiet. Almost sleepy at this point. Then suddenly ferb says one fact and Buford adds on to that fact and suddenly they’re having a one sided conversation as Buford debates said fact and ferb debates silently.

One would be the voice of the other (Buford being ferbs voice) about what’s right or wrong.

5. Baljeet x phineas the two’s dynamic is simple and easy!

Anddd baljeet would be there to fix little mistakes phineas would do (Audhd) and phineas would be sorta annoyed but literally happy he doesn’t think about that small mistake for the rest of his life.

Another symbiotic relationship. Unknown animals though I’d say Coyote and badger, both smart in their own ways.

So when Nene gives this information to Emu and Tsukasa they all agree to dress up in blue platypus onesies for Rui's birthday party and he is very appreciative and says "awww three platypus :)" only for all three of them to pull out hats from behind their backs and Rui just gets the biggest smile on his face from it and shouts "THREE PERRY THE PLATYPUS"

Okay, so Edward James Olmos is Admiral Adama in Battlestar Galactica, which also stars Michael Hogan, from your favorite TV show ever, Teen Wolf. BUT, he is also in Skyrim as General Tullius. Skyrim also has Christopher Plummer as Arngeir, who was also in Knives Out. But that's not as fun as connecting to Charles Martinet, who was in the Mario movie despite not playing Mario but whatever. Now, as much as I love Charlie Day and want to connect through him, I feel the need to connect through Crisp Rat, but I'm resisting that cause I had a revelation. I just realized that my goal was to eventually bring my connection to the Lion King, and I can easily do that now cause Frank Oz is Yoda, but also that's lame cause I wanted to bring it to Matthew Broderick, but let it be known that we could just do Frank Oz to James Earl Jones at this point. So, Frank Oz was in Star Wars with Mark Hamill, who is in many, many things, such as Avatar, which features Dee Bradley Baker as Appa. He is also Perry the Platypus in Phineas and Ferb (for some reason my brain broke and almost wrote Despicable Me). Phineas and Ferb features Thomas Brodie-Sangster, which is always very funny to me, but it also has Ashley Tisdale, who was in the wonderful movie, 2009's Aliens in the Attic. Aliens in the Attic features many people, including Austin Butler, someone who was in the After movies, Tim Meadows, and Andy Richter, who played Mort in Madagascar. Ben Stiller is in Madagascar, who was in Night as the Museum, which has Rami Malek, who was in Bohemian Rhapsody with Joe Mazzello, who is in Jurassic Park (AND a movie called Star Kid). Jeff Goldblum is in Jurassic Park and also in Thor: Ragnarok, which also has Sam Neill in it, but unrelated to the goal at hand. Thor has Chris Hemsworth, who was in 2009's Star Trek, starring Chris Pine, who was in Wonder Woman with Robin Wright, who is in the Princess Bride with Cary Elwes, who was in Psych. Since they are not in the same episode, James Roday Rodriguez is in Psych, and so is Ally Sheedy, who was in War Games with Matthew Broderick.

To answer your question, yes, I came to the official conclusion that I really needed to get on track or this would literally last forever. Crazy how I can get myself to do this and not my homework. Ignore the fact that it took me over a month to respond to your question. Matthew Broderick is Simba in the Lion King, which also features Nathan Lane as Timon. Nathan Lane was in The Nutcracker: The Untold Story, which I know about solely because of Danny Gonzalez. Nathan Lane plays Albert Einstein in this movie, and so, within the lore of the movie, we could accurately state that because Albert Einstein exists within the movie, so does Max Planck, who knew Lise Meitner. Ok imagine this.

Perry the Platypus and Doofenshmirtz gets zapped into another universe. Perry ends up working with Agent Phoenix to help get Perry back to his universe. Its a series of comedic stuff between the two agents. Agent P meets Agent P. I can just imagine Phoenix trying to get Perry to understand their love for fire and lighters. Then Doofenshmirtz pairs up with Zor. Basically Zor only paired up with Doofenshmirtz because he say him as another person to blackmail and kill. But also because after hearing about a new possible threat to Zoraxis, he would want Doof because he already knows Perry's weaknesses. I could imagine Handler talking to Monogram about how amazing Junipers acting is and Carl butting in, being more interested in Juniper and Handler and Carl geeking over Juniper. And Doofenshmirtz would be evil friends with Hivemind, because Doof was able to make a bee-inator for Hivemind.

I'll be updating more about this brilliant crossover soon. Maybe even a full story.

5. CARPE DIEM

I love this sm, this one of those songs that instantly get stuck on your head, I am always such a sucker for PnF musical numbers that involve a large portion of the cast and pays off better if you invested a bit into the series. I wish I got the chance to dance along with everyone when Phineas and Ferb dance party was still running in California Adventure ;-; but I'm so far from the US... And this song rlly just embodies the show's main theme so well aaaaaaaaa

4. SUMMER BELONGS TO YOU

I used to pretend i didnt like this song so I can be "unique" back when I was like 12 or sumn but like I rlly can no longer deny this is such a good song, I loved the harmonies and the dances, and the trumpets especially!!! Such a rlly good ending for s2,,,also really embodies the main theme of the show as well with Carpe Diem! This song never fails to make me stand up and dance along...

3. US AGAINST THE UNIVERSE

I'm sorry my top 5 comprises of a lot of finale songs for specials, they have a higher budget for a reason ok kldjfadjkfl I only watched CATU this year admittedly and I heard of the CATU songs beforehand and the first time I heard this song, it didnt rlly stick with me at first but this song is something that you truly greatly appreciate better once you watched the movie for sure! I loved how CATU explored Candace's stand on the formula of the show and how she has this kind of inferiority complex with her brothers, I'm just glad she is finally getting better explored aside from Last Day of Summer and just, the song embodying how everyone is there for her really hits me in the heartstrings THE WAY SHE AND PHINEAS HARMONIZES,,IT'S SO GOOD!!! ;-; also DOOF AND VANESSA'S ONLY DUET and I especially. Love the visuals that came along with this song!!!

2. PERRY THE PLATYPUS THEME

THE SEXIEST OST IN THE ENTIRE SHOW I WILL NOT ACCEPT CRITICISM. But I especially love the extended version!!!!!!!!! THE JAZZ....THE INSTRUMENTAL.....Such a step up from what you can usually hear in the show, it caught me by surprise the first time hearing it ever since I got the at2d album back then.

SUMMER (WHERE DO WE BEGIN)

IMO this is peak phineas and ferb song, but at the same time it's kind of different from the songs that usually try to encompass the show's main theme, this one's more chill in comparison than let's say carpe diem and summer belongs to you, but I love how this song takes the time to step back and include the more mundane perspective of Phineas and Ferb in regards to Summer, because most songs in this show encompass the more over-the-top ideas Phineas and Ferb have. It really highlighted how much Summer meant to them but at the same time, a song about summer that finally we can somewhat relate to more ahahahhaa. This song was love at first hear, I love Phineas' voice in this, the lyrics (especially the line "every single story is worth its weight in gold"), the funny inclusion of the theme song, the visuals, and what is stands for,,,, this song makes me the most nostalgic for this show so that's a bonus

ok, if the new directions ever had a halloween party here are some couples costumes i had in mind (note: there are overlapping ships and some of these things don't apply to the glee time period. pretend they're gen-z ok)

Tike: Katherine (Tina) and Jack (Mike) from Newsies. Of course Mike loves a good dance musical. And Tina wants to play Katherine someday.

Brittana: Joey (Brittany) and Uncle Jesse (Santana) from Full House. Britt thought it was so cute that Santana dressed up as Jesse when she was a kid, and Britt's convinced that they were a couple on that show. Lord Tubbington plays Michelle.

Faberry: Heather Chandler (Quinn) and Veronica (Rachel) from Heathers. It's just them.

St. Berry: JD (Jesse) and Veronica (Rachel) from Heathers. Both have that intensity in their relationship (but without the abuse and murder ofc)

Klaine: Leaf (Kurt) and Chip (Blaine) from The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. It would just be so cute and funny. Kurt makes both of the costumes (though it hurts him to have to intentionally make the cape look sloppy.)

Finchel: Barfee (Finn) and Olive (Rachel) from Spelling Bee. Rachel knew of the musical but Finn liked it much more. She was glad that he found an interest in a musical on his own so that's what they did. They practiced the Pas De Deux as well and it was a beautiful mess.

Samcedes: Ron (Sam) and Hermione (Mercedes) from Harry Potter. Mercedes was a closeted Potterhead for years. Sam only saw the movies (he has trouble reading due to his canon dyslexia) so Mercedes reads the books to him. She painted freckles on him and he got a red wig. Sam thought she looked INCREDIBLE in that uniform.

Bartie: Chrissy (Brittany) and Eddie (Artie) from Stranger Things. Sure, Britt's just playing another cute cheerleader in a different uniform, but they both love the show. Artie's wig is atrocious and beautiful.

Marlique: Gomez (Marley) and Morticia (Unique) from The Addams Family. It's unexpected but works so well.

Jarley: Voldemort (Jake) and Quirrel (Marley) from A Very Potter Musical. It's so nerdy but cute. They shuffle around back-to-back the entire night. Gotta commit to the bit.

Tartie: Doofenschmirtz (Tina) and Perry the Platypus (Artie) from Phineas and Ferb. It would be ridiculous but so fucking funny. Artie's special party trick is that he can make the Perry sound. Never fails to amaze people.

Pizes: Jack (Puck) and Rose (Lauren) from Titanic. They both secretly love romantic dramas. They recreate the iconic "I'm flying" pose and Puck carries a notebook with him the whole night for realism.
