I keep lurking in your blog but I just want to say I love how you do thorough research with your pieces, from the Wing au pieces (With what bird you’ve associated with the boys) and to your future N2 squad outfits! It’s just so nice to see how you put so much love and care in your craft! that’s all 🥺🫶 Looking forward to your future ocs series too, I can’t wait to see what else you come up with.

I dont know if my research are very thorough (me thinks I could do better haha), but mostly I'm just endlessly curious about everything and love to look stuff up. One thing that I like when I draw is the diversity, be it in clothes or hairstyles or, you know, wing shapes. It quickly gets boring for me when it's always the same kind of western style and clothing for example. I might not always be the best at putting that diversity in practice but I thrive to do better!

But yes, I put a lot of time and care into my art because, well, it's my whole life. Dunno what I'd be doing without it, and I have a lot of fun doing it too!

I'm glad my few tips could be helpful to you.

Um the short answer is I'm just extra horny lol. Told someone in a dm earlier that tracing someone's sillhouette with the pencil is just a substitute for not being able to trace the shape of them with my hands.

But also lots of practice! Drawing people from real life (friends and crushes etc) and drawing people I thought were hot in movies or anime or whatevs. Most of my experience drawing spicy stuff isn't "look at your dick!" It's "hold on I have to get your eyes just right..." Hence why Patrick's tummy is drawn master level every time but with his dick I'm like 🤷

talking to preschoolers is awesome bc they have not fully differentiated stories into 'true stories' and 'imaginary stories' yet so you will tell them about something that happened you once (coyote came out of a bush right in front of you and got startled) and they will tell you about how one time their house was full of coyotes in every room 'including five in the garage' and they're not even like, aware i think of the idea that they are technically 'lying'. they are simply telling stories about coyotes bc its time to tell stories about coyotes.

Several weeks ago one of my coworkers called me over into her cubicle and gave me a very unexpected gift. Her mother passed away recently, and she'd been packing stuff up at her condo to give to relatives and sell, so the home could be sold. The mother was an avid knitter and crocheter, and when my coworker came upon her stash of equipment, she told me, she "immediately thought of me as someone who might get some use out of it."

So, I have inherited a varied collection of knitting needles and crochet hooks, cable needles, sewing needles, and, best of all, now-out-of-print pattern books, mostly for blankets, because that was what this lady loved to make most. Plus, I also have a bunch of gauge swatches she made, pinned to little bits of card covered in perfect schoolteacher handwriting setting out the patterns they were made to test.

And also...

My coworker brought another bag, full of yarn and...knitted blanket squares. Her mother's last started project, before she got too sick to continue. And she asked if there was anything I could do with it.

It turned out, there are twelve completed squares, and I quickly located the pattern book they are from amid those given to me. It's a book of 60 patterns, meant to be put together however the maker wishes into blankets of 20 squares. I figured out which of the numbered patterns were already made, and selected eight more that I thought might go well with them.

So now! I am working on completing! My coworker's mother's last knitting project!

And I really am feeling very good about doing it.

Jason is very sure Dick can understand them, because he’s biting hard through his boots. Even harder when Bruce snorts and presses his lips in a white line.

Don’t get me wrong, thought, it’s vice versa.

“I think we’re gonna have to kill this guy, B.” Talking about a guy who cut the line in Batburger while Cass was trying to order.

Bruce, in his Batman voice, “fuck!”

Jason has one of those laughing fits where you get on the floor, breathless and limp. “This brings up memories.”
