I think it's kind of funny that since they take applications through their ticketing system, Flight Rising asks for your account username when you apply for a job there. uve got me HOOKEDDD on the idea of an izuku & rumi friendship/mentorship bc like it occurred to me that not only do they both have the bunny motif, they both have the very specific motif of FERAL bunny - izuku both times katsuki nearly dies & the way he looked as a vigilante, and that one iconic panel of rumi rushing shigafo with both arms gone and her fangs bared like a Beast. like i can just imagine them training together postwar & rumi is going like "and so even if ur fuckin arms & legs are cut off or out of commission, just remember it is NOT the end and u CAN bite the fucker to death until u win 💪💪💪 can even play the long game and give em rabies" & izuku is just like ":OOO"

For real though, being that both are my favorite characters of BNHA, I started to notice just how similar they are.

And it doesn't even stop at the rabbit thing!

Even wrote a fic where Miruko realizes how alike they're are and it was like "Well, damn, I got some self-reflection to do!"

I just... to me they're my duo! Like, it's a somewhat common concept, yeah, but the idea of Miruko mentoring Midoriya appealed to me. Again, they're both my favorite characters and they share similarities that don't just stop at them being like rabbits.

Bonus, take an account of All Might. When you really think about it, he also share some of those similarities.

any scars your soulmate has, you get as well. a very confused human wondering what monstrous beasts keep fighting their soulmate and giving them huge scars and bite marks, entirely unaware their soulmate is a daredevil tiny who likes to fight rats and other animals.

only seeing in color when you meet your soulmate. a person seeing what they think is a creepy bug scuttle out of sight, and the world blooms into color, and now they think their soulmate is a cockroach. they are distraught.
